Dems Back to Shoving COVID Cases Into Nursing Homes

If Cuomo's downfall showed anything, it's that there is still zero accountability for shoving COVID cases into nursing homes, resulting in a significant portion of the deaths during the pandemic.  So why should the Dems stop doing it? Ask Gov. Ned Lamont over in Connecticut. New York and New Jersey showed why putting COVID patients into nursing homes is a horrifying act of eugenics. Is that going to change anything right next door.  Nope................

Mount Everest is Racist

Everything is racist. Like trees. Trees are surprisingly racist.

The origin of the bizarre racist lynching theory of national parks appears to be Carolyn Finney. Finney was an actress noted for, apparently, little more than an appearance in The Nutt House. These days she’s a diversity advisor to the U.S. National Parks Advisory Board.

Finney cites the work of Joy DeGruy Leary who invented a Post Traumatic Slave Syndrome that she claims black people suffer from. Affected by PTSS, black people experience “fear and mistrust of forests and other green spaces.” According to Finney, the tree is a racist symbol to black people.

“Black people also wanted to go out in the woods and eat apples from the trees,” Finney explains.” But black people were lynched on the trees. The tree became a big symbol.” Black people are triggered by trees and suffer Post Traumatic Slave Syndrome flashbacks. You can’t expect them to go on a hike.

Also wine. Especially white wine............

First Black Female Police Chief of NYPD Blasts Soros DA for Pro-Crime Policies

Manhattan's got a new Soros DA who believes in going after Trump, but not criminals taking part in the borough's massive crime wave. The city's first new black female police chief has thoughts on Alvin Bragg's policy of not locking up criminals because it ruins their self-esteem.

NYPD Commissioner Keechant Sewell sent an e-mail to cops on Friday saying she’s “concerned” for their safety in light of the progressive policies announced this week by the new Manhattan district attorney that some see as soft on crime.  “I have studied these policies and I am very concerned about the implications to your safety as police officers, the safety of the public and justice for the victims,” Sewell wrote in the email obtained by The Post.

In other words, things are about to get even worse...........

"Where Was Justice Neil Gorsuch's Mask?" Demands Newspaper Whose Owner Doesn't Wear a Mask

The Dems, facing horrible polls, are pivoting away from COVID identity politics, but their elite class is bitterly clinging to it anyway because it gives them purpose and meaning. Ruth Marcus, Deputy Editorial Page Editor / Washington Post - Where was Justice Neil Gorsuch's mask?

"Where was Justice Neil M. Gorsuch’s mask? If you think this sounds like a trivial question, I dissent. I believe it goes to the heart of our fraying social fabric."

I'd like to think that "fraying social fabric" is a pun, but I may be overestimating Ruth there...............

Dems Want to Pivot Away From COVID, Teachers' Unions Won't Let Them

Democrat urban politics is often a case of trying to figure out who is blackmailing whom. That's definitely a tough call in this case. Facing ruinous polls, Dems decided to pivot from pandemic to endemic messaging, imposing vaccine restrictions, but mostly trying to reopen. Virginia and New Jersey sent a pretty clear message about the anger simmering in the suburbs about the public school situation.   And, at least initially, the teachers' unions seemed willing to go along. But that lasted about all of 5 minutes in the interim between the Randi Weingarten makeover as an advocate for reopening schools to unions pushing for mental health days and then outright returns to Zoom classes.

The question is whether there's a larger strategy here or just greed.....

Iran Issues "Sanctions" on 52 US Officials to Match 52 Hostages

Islamists love their numerology. Whether it's September 11 or their 52 cards here, there's some magical numerology in the mix. And a symbolic threat. White House national security adviser Jake Sullivan on Sunday warned Iran that it would face "serious consequences" if any U.S. citizens are attacked after Iranian officials sanctioned multiple Americans.

"Yesterday, Iran purported to impose sanctions on 52 Americans. They do so as Iran’s proxy militias continue to attack American troops in the Middle East, and as Iranian officials threaten to carry out terror operations inside the United States and elsewhere around the world,"

Sullivan said in a statement. I'm sure Iran is impressed by the "serious consequences" line coming from an administration that abandoned Americans behind Taliban lines and paid out ransoms for U.S. hostages. What were the consequences for taking Navy personnel hostage and humiliating them on camera?..............

Dem Majority Whip: Bipartisanship is Racist

When your entire argument on every issue imaginable is racism, you have only one thing to say and everyone knows what it is. Even if you have to sound like a clown doing it.

House Majority Whip James Clyburn (D-S.C.) lambasted Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) on Sunday for saying a vote on changing voting rights laws must be bipartisan.

So much for that whole "democracy" thing that Democrats claim to care about.

Appearing on "Fox News Sunday," Clyburn told Fox News anchor Bret Baier that's Manchin's suggestion of requiring bipartisan support for voting tights caused him "pain."

And the Democrats should totally be allowed to seize control of state elections on a narrow party-line vote because we're a dictatorship and anyone who disagrees is causing Clyburn "pain"........

I've often observed that the worse an organization, public or private, is at performing its basic responsibilities, the more work it gets. Virtue signaling covers a multitude of sins and the biggest of these is incompetence. Lefty cities are terrible at performing the most basic functions expected of government (I know, I've lived in the two biggest ones in this country), but never stop virtue signaling or throwing money at their lefty echo chamber consultants to figure out the latest buzzwords.

(The current one is equity.)

Meanwhile, basic things get worse. ..........

While Biden Negotiates, Iran Keeps Trying to Kill Americans - Biden’s appeasement leads to the Islamic Republic's attacks on U.S.

Six years after Obama signed off on the nuclear sellout deal with Iran, diplomats are once again meeting with representatives of the Islamic terror in Vienna's lavish Palais Saxe-Coburg.

1,500 miles away from the white columns of the former palace turned five-star hotel, American forces are under fire once again. On January 3rd, two suicide drones were aimed at the State Department’s Baghdad Diplomatic Support Center near the Baghdad International Airport.

Two more terror drones targeted American forces deployed to fight ISIS at the Al Asad air base. The base has been repeatedly hammered by Iran-backed rocket attacks over the past year, most notably when 14 rockets struck the base over the summer causing several injuries..........
