Did the Justice Department Lie About Pence and Harris’ Location on January 6?

Of the more than 725 Americans arrested so far for various crimes related to the Capitol protest on January 6, 2021, nearly every defendant faces the same two misdemeanor charges: “entering and remaining in a restricted building or grounds” and “disorderly conduct in a restricted building or grounds.”  The basis for the offenses is not, as the American people repeatedly have been told, that the building was closed to the public that day. After all, hundreds of people were allowed inside as Capitol police stood by; no signage or official announcements alerted the public that the building was off-limits.

Instead, the Justice Department has argued that the presence of both Vice President Michael Pence and incoming Vice President Kamala Harris rendered entry into the Capitol on January 6 a federal crime under 18 U.S. Code section 1752. In every charging document, the government relies on section 1752 to define a “restricted building” as the location of the “President or other person protected by the Secret Service,” which would have included Pence and Harris...........Despite the Justice Department’s recent confession, numerous existing indictments still include the inaccurate claim; D.C. judges, including Chief Judge Howell, seem unbothered by the fact federal court documents—and, more importantly, evidence presented to a grand jury—include an entirely false allegation about the events of January 6...............

Our Group Take - Un-be-leivable!!  More to show just how grossly corrupt the DOJ is, and how this is nothing more than a rotten sordid political incarceration and prosecution of hundreds of law abiding citizens, destroying their lives all to push the leftist narrative, further leftist control over the population by demonizing people who merely want to enforce the Constitution, ensure election integrity, and exercise their First Amendment rights to peaceful protest.  

Don't get me wrong, I've no doubt there are a few who took it too far - but clearly the vast majority did not, and the government treatment and prosecution of them is as corrupt and despicable as it gets.

Oh, and as to this law that it's a crime supposedly to even enter a building that the VP is scheduled to visit later - what, are people supposed to be mind readers?  The building wasn't posted, Capitol Police invited hundreds of them into the building and didn't ask ones who were inside to leave.  

So exactly how were people supposed to know that the VP was scheduled to be there later and that made it a crime to enter the building?  And if it is a crime, shouldn't the Capitol Police who 'aided and abetted' those hundreds of people entering the building by ushering them in also be charged??? 

Not to mention it's awfully telling to see the lengths to which the DOJ is going to try to cover all this up, to try to get the judge to make it impossible for the relevant questions to even be asked and impossible for the relevant evidence to be produced and the relevant people questioned.

The implications of all of this are horrific.
