We've lost sight of reality, and this quote by President Ronald Reagan highlights the problem. We're facing a massive problem with defining things properly. Evil is now good and good is evil. (Must read piece and here. RK)
The reason we're facing this crisis of definition is we've allowed leftists who hate everything about America to take over all the institutions of America. They've corrupted language, history and reality. In government, academia, the military, the media, entertainment, education, and commerce, they've all gone Woke, and will not permit anyone to challenge that and are demanding censorship of those who disagree.
If things can't be properly defined there can be no clarity of thought, no proper understanding. Result? Bad decision making. As you read Daniel's observations, all exactly correct, think foundationally:
- Definition leads to clarity.
- Clarity leads to understanding.
- Understanding leads to good decision making.
- Good decision making leads to harmony.
That's why leftism leads to chaos, misery, suffering and dystopia, they fail foundationally. That's history and that history is incontestable. So, let' try and get that....just once!
Soros Group Objects to Front Page Magazine Headline Linking Him to Devil, Marilyn Mosby
The indictment of Baltimore DA Marilyn Mosby on fraud and perjury charges was reported on The Point at Front Page Magazine shortly after it happened with a number of follow-ups, including this post, "Soros DA Marilyn Mosby's Indictment Blamed on Racism, the Devil."
For unclear reasons, perhaps the mention of the devil, the Soros network was not happy and I received a request for a correction from BerlinRosen acting on behalf of "Justice & Public Safety PAC, the political action committee primarily funded by George Soros", which asserted that "Mr. Soros has not -- directly or indirectly -- backed or supported or contributed to Ms. Mosby."
In response, I pointed out that while "Justice & Public Safety PAC" had not funded Mosby, she was entangled with elements of the Soros network.
"The post makes no mention of Justice & Public Safety PAC or of direct contributions to Mosby. I presume you are not challenging Mosby's own disclosures of the trips funded by Fair and Just Prosecution?" I wrote.........37 comments
The New York Post is like a trash can outside a flower shop. For every rose in the pile, there's a bunch of garbage. That's true of the whole run of Murdoch tabloids like the Daily Mail which cater to conservatives only in a wholly opportunistic fashion. They always follow the clicks............I don't know what Meat Loaf died of and I doubt the New York Post does either. But he lived a very full life and it's quite surprising he made it this far. Making his death about his position on vaccine mandates is the kind of dishonest COVID culture war narrative spin that is a prime reason why so many people loathe and distrust the media and the culture war it obsessively cultivates that has not and will not convince a single person to get vaccinated, but exists solely to make a certain type of unpleasant person feel superior to other people..........3 comments
George Orwell's 1984 Gets Trigger Warning
Irony is not only dead, it was beaten to death in a back alley by a woke mob. The Left is not only trying to usher in the very Ministry of Information that George Orwell was satirizing in 1984 in order to fight "disinformation", it's actually slapping a trigger warning on 1984.
Staff at the University of Northampton have issued a trigger warning for George Orwell’s novel on the grounds that it contains ‘explicit material’ which some students may find ‘offensive and upsetting’.
No doubt. That's probably the point.
Tory MP Andrew Bridgen said: ‘There’s a certain irony that students are now being issued trigger warnings before reading Nineteen Eighty-Four. Our university campuses are fast becoming dystopian Big Brother zones where Newspeak is practiced to diminish the range of intellectual thought and cancel speakers who don’t conform to it."

Communists have no new ideas. Just old bad ones that they try to rebrand. During Mao's Great Leap Forward, the Communist Chinese regime launched the Four Pests campaign to wipe out flies, mosquitoes, rats, and sparrows. None of this was a particularly good idea. You don't have to be a militant environmentalist to realize that there's a difference between pest control and attempts at outright elimination that will wreck the ecology.
