Plot to Lynch Police Officer in Breonna Taylor Case Fails - Before the Black Lives Matter race riots and the endorsement of the hate group by every major corporation and branch of government, juries could be counted on to do their jobs. Since then that's no longer been the case with successful lynchings of police officers in the George Floyd drug overdose case and others. Bringing any police officer to trial in the Breonna Taylor case, a case where police officers were literally shooting back, was a spectacular violation of the law. And it failed...............3 comments

Chicago Mayor Lightfoot: Get Rid of the Columbus Statue or Cops Will Die - It's the Chicago way. We all remember the Black Lives Matter campaign to go after American history and the Italian-American community in Chicago by pulling down the city's famous Columbus statue. Chicago's Mayor Lightfoot easily gave in to them and we now know just how hard she went after Columbus........10 comments

Goodbye Dr. Seuss, Hello Ibram X. Kendi - Dr. Seuss is too white to be Dr. Seuss. After canceling six Dr. Seuss books on spurious charges of racism, the massive German publishing giant and the secretive company that owns the rights to the deceased author’s work announced that they would be unveiling new “inclusive” Seuss books by diverse writers. Seuss, or Theodor Geisel, an old dead white man is insufficiently diverse for his publishers............... 2 comments

Hedge Fund Bosses to Spend $5M Telling Americans Biden Understands "Regular Families" - Awkward. Dark money machines generally don't have to spend millions in ads trying to get people to like the guy in the White House... before midterm elections.  But Biden's stellar reputation is such that American Bridge, David Brock's joint, funded by the Sixteen Thirty Fund's dark money machine is spending serious cash to rehab Biden's image.......... 0 comments

Islam is the Only Winner in the Ukraine War - A tough choice between Muslim Europe and Muslim Russia.  Russia, with a birth rate of 1.5 children per woman, has invaded Ukraine, where the birth rate is 1.2 children per woman, to determine which nation with below replacement birth rates will go extinct the fastest. In the long run the only winners of the war to determine whether Ukraine will belong to the 1.2 or 1.5 people will be the Chechen and other Muslim soldiers doing the fighting...........13 comments.

Why Russia's Military Incompetence Doesn't Matter - The Point has played out this subject back and forth over the week and the media and various experts seem intent on treating Russian military incompetence as if it's either...1. A secret plan and four-dimensional chess. 2. Evidence that Russia will lose. It is most likely neither............9 comments

Ex-Illinois Dem Party Boss Indicted on Bribery Charges - What can you do folks, it's Chicago. I blogged about this back in 2020. Michael Madigan was the longest-serving legislative leader in American history and chaired the Illinois Democrat Party. But then the investigation got closer and closer to Mike............ 1 comment

It's Okay Not To Take a Side in Someone's Else War - It's okay not to take a side in someone else's war.  It's okay not to repeat war propaganda from either side, whether it's the insane claims that the invasion of Ukraine is another Holocaust or that we're about to enter WWIII, Ukrainian biolabs or thousands of destroyed Russian tanks. It's okay to think for yourself.  It's okay to be outraged or disgusted by the sight of a country being invaded and civilians being bombed without believing that we need to personally go to war............ 5 comments

Don't Just "Fund the Police", Fund the Prisons - Biden, trying to run away from his party's pro-crime record, embraced "Fund the Police" at the State of the Union. Funding the police is fine (especially if you stop trying to lock them up for doing their jobs) but it doesn't do any good if the criminals don't get locked up. Here's a disgusting case in point out of New York City...........1 comment

Fact Check: Would France Resist If Russia Invaded Paris? - Since pointless fact checks over largely unimportant things are all the rage, we might as well join the fun...........Let's see. The Franco-Prussian war ended with the French fighting among themselves instead of securing Paris, with the whole thing ending in a German victory and another radical leftist gang running Paris.  That was positively heroic compared to the French surrendering, mostly accepting Vichy control, and acting as Nazi collaborators. The so-called French Resistance was not especially French. And certainly not representative of French elites in Paris............... 2 comments

‘Afghan Adjustment Act’ Would Legalize 36,000 Unvetted Afghans - Don’t ask questions, just give them their citizenship. Biden’s evacuation brought tens of thousands of Afghans to America. The majority of them were not interpreters, had no visas, and no basis for entering the country. Despite that, they were rapidly brought here with virtually no vetting, dropped off at military bases, and then put through the resettlement process across the United States. There’s no one problem...............10 comments

Flashback to When Russia Armed and Provided Intel to Saddam Ahead of U.S. Invasion - One way to think of the initial U.S. role in Afghanistan was that it was payback to Russia for Vietnam by a generation of officers that had seen it close up. And they wanted to give the Russians their own Vietnam. Similarly, another way to think of Ukraine is payback to Russia for Iraq from a generation of officers that saw that one up close.   In the years after the Gulf War, Saddam grew closer than ever to Russia. And the Russians provided intel and weapons right up to the war........They also provided weapons that were used against us.......While most Americans have forgotten, there are people in the military with a longer memory..........1 comment

There's only one article that's been posted by Daniel today, at least thus far. Here it is and it's a goodie, especially his comparison of Biden's painful ramblings as a  "Vogon poetry of word salads, non-sequiturs, mumbles, grumbles, malapropisms, and random interjections, 120 extra seconds is an eternity."  Admittedly, I had to look them up, and Vogons are a fictional alien race and are described as:

"one of the most unpleasant races in the galaxy—not actually evil, but bad-tempered, bureaucratic, officious and callous"...... "the third worst poetry in the universe".

vogon-poetry

Other than the "not actually evil" this fits Biden's speeches and thoughts.

Confused Old Man Yells at Nation for an Hour

3,720 seconds of lies, fearmongering, and malapropisms.  A confused political hack from Delaware staged a one-man insurrection by invading the sacred precincts of the Capitol building, hijacking all the TV networks, and yelling that the planet would be destroyed unless we gave him all our money so he could burn it and turn it into green energy.

Joseph Robinette Biden Jr, who loves the sound of his voice more than his crackhead son or the bastard grandchild of a stripper, had already inflicted the second longest opening address in the history of this nation with a 2021 marathon address that killed more brain cells than meth.............37 comments

This picture is a clear depiction of just how out of touch with reality this administration is.  Whether it's domestic or foreign policy they see through reality through a distorting lens, and those distortions impact virtually everything they say and do.  Leftists are ruling America, and ruling badly.  Why are we surprised? Dystopia follows leftism as faithfully as Sancho Panza followed Don Quixote, a madman.  That's history and that history is incontestable.

A Reckoning Approaches for Obama's EPA Abuses -The Supreme Court's willingness to consider West Virginia v. EPA strikes at the original beating heart of the power grab perpetrated by the Obama administration. The media is vehemently denying that West Virginia v. EPA is still relevant. The Biden administration claims that it has no intention of resurrecting its abuses. Yet in a legal environment and court environment where the abuses of the Obama administration have often been quickly buried, the determination to keep pursuing West Virginia v. EPA is laudable............. 8 comments

Cuomo Runs An Ad Campaign Against Himself - Cuomo and Putin: two men treated as political geniuses until they became politically erratic. The New York Don gave in to pressure to leave office (even though he could have held out like his counterpart in Virginia) and is now using his massive war chest to relaunch his political career by going after a politician who isn't even running against him..........0 comments

Biden’s Supreme Court Pick is a Racist Attack on the Constitution - It’s not about gender or race: it’s about power.  When Biden announced that he would only consider black women for the Supreme Court, the vast majority of Americans rejected racial gatekeeping for the highest court in the land. 76% of Americans wanted him to consider all candidates regardless of their race and gender. Less than a quarter of the country wanted Biden to limit the nomination by race and gender. Even 54% of Democrats rejected Biden’s identity politics quotas and only 28% of non-whites were on board with his pledge to reject all other potential nominees based solely on their skin color.......leftists wanted a nominee “willing to expand the meaning of the Constitution without constitutional amendments”.........1 comment

Counterpoint: What If This is WW3? - In previous articles and posts I made the case that this is by no stretch of the imagination World War 3. Despite Putin’s saber rattling, this is an attempt by Russia to reclaim another vital chunk of its former empire and the Soviet Union.  It may be more grandiose, but still limited.  This counterpoint contemplates another possibility. Russian military doctrine thrives on the maskirovka. The obvious manifestation of this came when the Russian regime insisted repeatedly it was not about to invade Ukraine, right before it invaded Ukraine. Observers have noted Russia’s stumbling military tactics in the invasion, particularly the lack of proper air power deployment.  It’s inconceivable that the Ukrainian air force should be operating at all at this late date, and yet it is. ..........4 comments

Widely Hated Leader of Economically Troubled Nation to Speak On "Optimism" - Not Putin, Biden. Biden's domestic message for the State of the Union is going to be "optimism". Considering that Biden is hated by the country, which is deep in inflation, debt and general unhappiness, that's like the punchline to a Borsch Belt joke. A pity that Jackie Mason is no longer around to tell it. I can't think of any issue that Biden has less credibility on than optimism. And that's saying something. Worse still it smacks of a Carteresque moment.  Americans don't hire leaders to tell them about optimism.  Inspirational messages are nice, but when detached from real action, are just hollow posturing ................1 comment

Biden Wants to Declare Victory on COVID. He Can't - Before Ukraine became the big story, the centerpiece of the Biden State of the Union address was supposed to be the declaration that the war on COVID had finally been won.  Of course the war had not been won. The rapid collapse of mask mandates is not the result of some massive breakthrough in science, it’s the result of polling which firmly established that the majority of the country was sick and tired of the public health security state. And those polls followed severe political defeats in elections, particularly Virginia, brought on by the bottomless greed of teachers’ unions which insisted on shutting down schools. That’s not a plan, it’s a retreat.............2 comments

Saturday Night Live and Virtue Signaling Someone Else's War - When America was attacked on September 11th, Saturday Night Live responded by having Rudy Giuliani come out, give a little talk and then on with the show. Are We Underestimating or Overestimating the Russian Military? - Trained military observers watching the Russian invasion of Ukraine unfold are finding themselves baffled by by both the scale of the operation and its seeming lack of coordination and effectiveness. Russia is a world power and its military is that of a world power. In the air and on the ground, not taking into account guerilla warfare, the Russians should be performing much better than they are. Particularly when it comes to the air war, there shouldn’t have even been one, the Russians should have been able to achieve total air superiority right from the start. The fact that the Russian forces still don’t have total air superiority is baffling trained military experts...............2 comments

Is Putin Suffering From the Same Problem as Biden? - One way to view the war in the Ukraine is through the lens of time.  Vladimir Putin may no longer be president after 2024. While Putin has previously played all sorts of convoluted shenanigans that allowed him to run things in whichever office he held, this time around it may be for real. Or as real as anything in Putin’s Russia gets. There have been persistent rumors of an underlying medical condition, most recently Parkinson’s, and while Putin is relatively young compared to our leaders, there has been a sense that he is losing focus and control............3 comments

Biden Doesn't Want a Black Justice, But an Anti-Constitutional One - From Jonathan Turley..............Liberals want a justice who is willing to expand the meaning of the Constitution without constitutional amendments. President Biden stressed that his nominee must follow a "living constitution" approach, including a broad view of “unenumerated rights.” When asked if she supported such an approach, Childs answered "no." Jackson, in contrast, has been far more obscure and conflicted in her response...............3 comments

Ukraine Isn't WW2 or WW3 - It's WW1 - Does the United States want the job of keeping neighbor from invading neighbor around the world? The great East-West divide in Europe isn't what it used to be. Now the Western side of the divide are part of a regional union whose mission is to diminish nationalism and national independence, while on the Eastern side all the nationalism that had been suppressed by Communism reigns unchecked.............15 comments

My Take - I think this last piece reflects my views very well.  Bretton Woods is over, and we don't owe these people anything nor do we need them, and make no mistake about this, they would never come to the aid of America if things were reversed.  Get over it!

With Supreme Court Pick, Biden Chooses Left Over Black Supporters - The Supreme Court nomination gave Biden a pretty clear choice, he could reward Rep. Jim Clyburn, the politician who mobilized the black voters that won him the nomination, and therefore help put him in the White House, or he could reward the Left.  Clyburn lobbied for Judge Michelle Childs. Manchin and a few Republicans got on board. While the Left, including Demand Justice, which had boasted of bullying Justice Breyer off the bench, united around Ketanji Brown Jackson.  Unsurprisingly, Biden picked Ketanji Brown Jackson and chose the Left, which wanted an activist who happened to be black, over his black supporters who wanted someone who was black first............5 comments

Biden's destructive energy policies goes beyond high prices for energy here in the US.  During the Trump years America was not only energy independent, we sold energy to Europe.  Now that's off the table making Russia far more important to Europe's economy than ever, and Putin clearly saw this.   Couple that with their incredibly stupid "green energy" polices Germany and other European nations adopted, and it was an invitation to disaster.  And now it's here.  Neither Europe, NATO, the United Nations or the EU are going to do a thing about it.   All thanks to the dipstick in the White House.

There is one uptick to this though.  Once again John Kerry reminds us that he too would have been an awful president.  America missed a bullet there.  Or as the writer notes, Kerry is "so committed to his job that he’s unafraid to look like a blithering idiot".  I think that's a common affliction in the Biden administration.  And it starts right at the top.

What I Actually Wrote About a War in the UkraineFri - Since some of the usual trolls have felt the need to make a case out of this, here's what I actually wrote about a possible war in the Ukraine. There may indeed be an invasion and a war, but it won’t involve the United States..............The key point was not that there wouldn't be a war, but that it wouldn't involve American troops. .........13 comments

Forget Crack Pipes, a CDC Provider is Promoting 'Safe' Fentanyl Use - Masking 2-year-olds and handing out needles to addicts is the new public.   We live in the golden age of the junkie. Not even in the darkest days of the counterculture were addicts able to swarm major cities and sit on the street getting high while knowing that all of their needs and wants would be taken care of. Billions are spent on “homeless services” for crackheads, meth abusers, and heroin addicts whose plight is blamed on the cost of housing...........3 comments

Biden Once Again Blames Oil Companies for High Prices Due To His Ukraine Failure - After signaling to Vladimir Putin, that he would be okay with a quote “minor incursion” quote into the Ukraine, Biden is trying to blame the consequences of that invasion, which include high gas prices, on oil companies.  This isn’t the first time that Biden has cynically traded in this brand of cheap anti-capitalist rhetoric, but it’s particularly egregious considering that higher energy prices are inevitable as a result of his failure in the Ukraine, not because the oil companies are greedy but because of the realities of market conditions............ 2 comments

Given a Choice Between Delivering the Mail and Green Energy - Before and after the election, Democrats accused Trump appointee Postmaster General Louis DeJoy of seeking to destroy the postal service and of preventing everyone from getting their mail.  While the attacks really exploded around the time of the election, and the obsession of the Democrats in getting mail ballots to as many of their supporters as possible, the attacks have continued even well after the election.......But in the latest front of the battle, the Biden White House was furious that the postal service, which maintains a certain amount of independence, did not sacrifice its fundamental mission of delivering the mail in order to order a whole bunch of useless electric vehicles. .....3 comments

Local Sheriff Not Too Happy About Biden Dumping 16,000 Afghans In His Backyard - The massive Afghan migration, of "refugees" who were vetted by the Taliban, not by us, is coming as a huge shock to local areas who suddenly have a swarm of people from a very different culture and in need of a lot of services show up. Hospitals, schools, and social services are overburdened.  Lefties Settle on Ketanji Brown Jackson for Supreme Court - In the SCOTUS sweepstakes, Rep. White Supremacy Is Alive and Well - and Living in San Francisco - Woke school board members accuse 79% of city of white supremacy.  San Francisco leftists met the recall election which tossed out three woke school board members by over 70% with the grace and dignity with which radicals greet all rejections. "If you fight for racial justice, this is the consequence," Commissioner Gabriela Lopez tweeted. "Don’t be mistaken, white supremacists are enjoying this.”  Lopez, who infamously vomited up a word salad when it was pointed out that the board's push to rename schools carrying the names of historical figures like Paul Revere was based on a misreading of Wikipedia, has already announced that she had been accepted to Stanford's PhD program in Race, Inequality and Language in Education............16 comments

The Air Force Went Woke, Its Planes Won’t Fly - Diversity was supposed to improve military readiness. It didn’t. Chief of Staff Charles Brown and Chief Master Sergeant Kaleth Wright have made diversity and wokeness into the core of the Air Force's mission. Meanwhile the planes won't fly. Brown has spent the past few years unleashing worthless diversity reviews to try and blame the Air Force for a supposed lack of diversity, even though it now has a black chief of staff and a black top enlisted leader. The military justification for their divisive shenanigans was that diversity equated somehow to military readiness. How is the Air Force’s readiness?  The latest numbers show that the Air Force has made no progress in improving the readiness of its planes with a rate of 71.5% or 7 out of 10 planes in 2021...............34 comments

Even if Vaccine Mandates and Masks Go, Will We Have a Permanent COVID State of Emergency? - Following Alinsky's 7th rule, under which the pandemic state has become a drag, states and cities are dismantling their public health tyranny at various rates of speed. Democrats are starting to back away from mask mandates and, a bit more slowly, from vaccine papers and the like. More Illegal Aliens Released In Jan '22 Than Were Deported In All of '21 - The headline here comes from a tweet by FOX News' Adam Shaw summing up the scale of the crisis and complicity by the Biden administration. As Bill Melugin noted, "DHS reports 153,941 migrant encounters in January, almost doubling Jan. ‘21 (78,414) and more than quadruple Jan. ‘20 (36,585). DHS also reports 62,573 migrants were released into U.S. just last month alone." Was There a Firefight After the Suicide Bombing at Kabul Airport? - The official narrative is that an ISIS-K suicide bomber got through Taliban "security" and detonated, resulting in the deaths of 13 U.S. military personnel and a number of Afghans. The more the public thinks a war might happen, the tougher and more heroic the Democrat in the White House seems. As bad as the public polls are (and public polls are usually bad in more ways than one) the internal polls are much worse. When you see politicians suddenly dramatically changing course, you know that either something big is going on behind the scenes or the internal polls are catastrophic. And these are catastrophic................3 comments

As NYC Crime Rises 38.5%, NY Atty Gen Chases Trump - If you want Attorney General Letitia James to do her job, good luck. The only people she's interested in going after wear MAGA or NRA hats. And so we have the surreal scene of a city and state melting down under the heat of an escalating crime wave while the state's top prosecutor courts headlines and donor cash by targeting Trump, the NRA, and other political opponents, including even Cuomo in her own party. New Yorkers looking for public safety have to look elsewhere. Unless the criminals hunting them vote Republican, James won't help............0 comments

ACLU Wages National War to Force Students to Wear Masks - Former civil rights groups the ACLU has finally found a cause it can really get behind: taking away civil rights. From Virginia to Iowa, to Missouri and Colorado, the ACLU has been sending threatening letters and joining lawsuits against school districts to pressure them to take away the civil rights of students and to force them to wear masks. The same ACLU which wants to free terrorists and rapists also wants to lock up 9-year-olds...............0 comments

NY Supreme Court Judge: AG Has Right to Target Republican Political Opponents - Are those the rules? Those are the official rules, now.  It's okay for AG's to abuse their power to go after their political opponents because persecuting people for their political views is not a civil rights violation. Just ask Xi, Putin, and Judge Arthur F. Engoron of the New York State Supreme Court........... 1 comment

BLM Activist Who Raised $600K in Senate Race is a Farrakhan Fan - Black Lives Matter is a racist hate group. The media works almost as hard to cover up the fact as BLM's stars work to broadcast it. Meet Gary Chambers Jr., a Black Lives Matter activist recently being promoted by Rolling Stone magazine. -Blunt-Smoking, Confederate Flag-Burning Senate Candidate Is Raking in Big Money - Rolling Stone - Chambers Jr. raised $600K. Also, he's a racist..............1 comment

Palin v. New York Times Disgraced the Media and the Judiciary - Palin v. New York Times came down to arguing that the paper was sloppy, but not malicious. That may be the best defense that Judge Jed Rakoff, who dismissed the case before the jury had finished its deliberations, can manage. Why dismiss the case before the jury has even reached a verdict. The obvious answer is that the judge didn't trust the jurors to reach the politically correct decision, which they eventually did, but only after Rakoff tainted the jury by dismissing the case............  3 comments

On the Dangers of Turning Durham Into a Conservative Mueller  - I know we're all excited about the DNS surveillance story. The media is frantically spinning it and conservatives are playing it up with pictures of a scowling Durham. Building cults of personality around prosecutors rarely ends well. And when all is said and done, Durham may disappoint conservatives as much as Mueller disappointed leftists. Just remember that Durham was left alone by Biden's people. That means they don't expect him to nail anyone too big. Whether or not there's a tacit agreement in place, no one is feeling all that threatened by Durham otherwise there would have been a significant campaign to take him down............. 7 comments

So States Can Ban Law Enforcement From Participating in Immigration Enforcement, But Not Gun Control - How far do the double standards have to be pushed before even Chief Justice Roberts has to admit that this is a farce and that the only governing legal logic here is that leftists are entitled to do whatever they want and conservatives have no right to do anything. After lefties created sanctuary states like California and banned local law enforcement from working on immigration enforcement in any way, even to the extent of notifying ICE that illegal alien criminals had been detained, or honoring their detainers, what would happen if a state decided to similarly ban participation in gun control enforcement?................. 2 comments

Was a Woman Murdered Because Critical Race Theory Taught Her She Was a Racist? - Did she lecture herself about her prejudices and ignore her common sense? During the violent Black Lives Matter race riots, the blog for the Splice platform offered the ritual BLM slogan and urged everyone to "educate yourself on the Blacks Lives Matter movement and how you can become a better supporter." One of the company's BLM tips included garbage like, "6 ways Asian Americans can tackle anti-black racism in their families".  Two years later, Splice offered an RIP to "our beloved Christina Lee" who was "senselessly murdered in her home." It asked everyone to remember the 35-year-old New Yorker as "dedicated to making beautiful and inclusive artwork."  Even Lee’s murder had to be reframed in the service of diversity, equity, and inclusivity, when it was really caused by the cultlike obedience to the critical race theory obsession with equity............... 45 comments

Insane Vaccine Rules Are Making New York Lose - Mayor Bill de Blasio was notorious for his sheer combination of corruption, ineptitude, and wokeness. That made him stand out even in a crowded field of insane and incompetent mismanagers. And now everyone is trying to make sense of New York City's bizarre and corrupt pandemic rules. Probably the most notorious of those rules allowed entertainers passing through the city to play games or appear at concerts to be exempt from those very same rules.............3 comments

BLM Co-Founder Says Tamir Rice's Mother is a Sexist Racist for Questioning Financial Mismanagement

Trained Marxist racist caught with her pants down says what?

Black Lives Matter co-founder Patrisse Cullors said she's being targeted by the government for her "long legacy" of activism, her first public remarks since the charity voluntarily shut down its ability to raise funds amid legal threats from blue states.

There was a minor issue with seemingly no actual officers and no one being accountable for $60 million. Also "charity" should be in quotes.

"It's this idea that I'm sneaky or I'm doing something nefarious, and that's incredibly anti-black and sexist," Cullors said during an interview Wednesday with Morehouse College. "We have to call it what it is."

Racist sexists include... Tamir Rice's mother?.............3 comments

It's Not the Job of the Gov to Maintain a No-Fly List of People Who Misbehave on Planes

What the Smashing Success of the San Fran Super-Woke School Board Recall Means

How much did San Francisco voters want to oust the most obnoxious three members of the school board: Alison Collins, Gabriela López and Faauuga Moliga?

Initial returns Tuesday night showed that voters overwhelmingly voted “yes” to recall Alison Collins, Gabriela López and Faauuga Moliga, three of the board’s seven members — 79 percent voted to remove Collins, 75 percent to remove Lopez and 73 percent to remove Moliga. The early results were dramatic enough that backers quickly declared victory and Moliga acknowledged his apparent defeat.

Collins, who was already being ousted over racist comments about Asians, and is in the middle of a legal battle, is clearly really popular with voters...............1 comment

My Take - No voter fraud? Two things, they may have been so arrogant they didn't think they needed to tamper with this recall, or the returns were so massive it was impossible to work a rational fraud.  Interesting.

Update: Wokester bloodbath: Blue San Francisco throws out three Board of Education leftists by monster margins - The margins, according the Chronicle, were 79% to 21% to boot Collins; 75% to 25% to oust Lopez, and 72% to 28% to kick Moliga to the curb. As the Chron notes, they were on the ballot because they could be on the ballot -- the rest likely would have been thrown out too, were they eligible. The city will hold new elections in seven months, but San Francisco voters couldn't wait even that long to let these particular leftists know.

New York Times Offers Master Class in Media Cover-Up of Clinton-Trump Spying Revelations

You could hear the creaks and moans as the media finally got around to covering the Durham filing on DNS surveillance of Trump Tower and the White House by Clinton allies. The New York Times fittingly took the lead of trying to argue that it was no big deal. And that required some heavy lifting..........1 comment

BLM Fund to Pay Bail of BLM Activist Who Tried to Kill Mayor

Nothing to see here folks. Meanwhile, parents speaking out at school board meetings are domestic terrorists..................Does being an activist with a racist hate group whose motto comes from a wanted domestic terrorist possibly offer a motive? Nah, as usual it's mental illness. We're told repeatedly that it has nothing to do with Black Lives Matter. So a bail fund linked to BLM is bailing him out............. 2 comments

AOC Claims Defender of Murdering Jews Was Victim of "Cancel Culture"

"The term “cancel culture” comes from entitlement - as though the person complaining has the right to a large, captive audience," Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez tweeted a while back. Now she decided to lay out her entitlement to killing and hating Jews........Here's what Marc Lamont Hill actually said.........There's nothing new here.  The Anti-Israel Left routinely characterizes the most blatant forms of antisemitism and calls for the murder of Jews as criticizing the Israeli government. ...... 7 comments

Environmentalists and Globalists Turned Over the Avocado Business to Mexico. Now the Cartels are in Charge.

I hate avocados. But I have a wife who loves them and in California, it's all but impossible to get good ones unless you plant a tree in your own backyard.  Environmentalists and open border globalist traders wrecked California's avocado business. Water management starved farms, especially those with 'thirsty' crops, and the door was opened to massive avocado imports from Mexico. This was seen as win-win.  Mexico would bear the cost of growing avocados while California farmers could go to hell. California elites would get cheap avocados and everything would work out. .........33 comments

Biden's Black and Left Base Go To War Over Supreme Court Seat

Only one can win.  As Governor Rod Blagojevich once said of Obama's Senate seat, “It's a f____ valuable thing, you just don't give it away for nothing." A Supreme Court seat is even more valuable and with the Senate stalemated, the two big factions of the Democrat base are furiously fighting over who gets to ‘Blagojevich’ it. The superannuated struggle over the seat of Justice Stephen Breyer, who chose to retire at the age of 83, pits Rep. Jim Clyburn, 81, against Senator Bernie Sanders, 80. Both are demanding that Joe Biden, 79, let them ‘Blagojevich’ the “f____ valuable” Supreme Court seat.............15 comments

Fact Check: No, "Stand Your Ground" Isn't an Issue in the "Popcorn Throwing" Case

The media once used to at least pretend to care about facts, these days its only interest is in narratives. And as the New York Times and Sarah Palin libel case demonstrated, no matter how often a narrative or a smear goes down, the media just shamelessly pops it back up again. This one is from 2014 but it's getting new life because the trial is on. And that means j-school grads with zero life experience outside of watching TikTok videos are ready with their hot takes...........2 comments

The Differences Between the Hulk/Gawker and Palin/New York Times Cases are Geography and Jurisdiction

Not just, but close enough.  The Hulk Hogan case was a carefully contrived ambush against a powerful and utterly reckless New York City blog that had become so arrogant that it casually published stolen nude photos and sex tapes while sneering at the idea of a lawsuit.  While the New York Times' trial performance was mediocre, it didn't compare to this spectacular moment from the Gawker/Hulk Hogan case...............2 comments

Trudeau, Who Took a Knee for BLM, Imposes Tyranny and Terror on Freedom Convoy

A fundamental principle of a just society is that even if the laws themselves are unjust, they apply to everyone equally. If they don't, it's a tyranny. Here's Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in 2020......Now, Trudeau has escalated the crackdown on civil rights by unleashing emergency powers against the trucker protest in Ottawa. Trudeau insisted that the truckers don't represent a peaceful protest. While I have issues with protesters blocking roads, no matter what cause they represent, you either treat everyone equally or you don't......7 comments

Biden's Muslim "Religious Freedom" Ambassador Offends India With Hijab Advocacy

Muslim countries that have religious freedom are as rare as hen's teeth. Islam is built around the denial of religious freedom. The cry of, "Allahu Akbar" is based on religious supremacy through ethnic cleansing. While the targets in that case were Jews, the same has gone for Christians, Hindus, and any other religious group unlucky enough to be caught up in the fires of the Islamic conquests.   But the Biden administration insists on carrying on Obama's work. And that means pursuing a Jihad against any country or culture that, according to Obama, ought to have no future because they don't submit to Mohammed and his hateful campaign. This was December of last year..........9 comments

Biden Splits Afghanistan Assets Between Taliban and 9/11 Victims

Biden probably thinks this is a Solomonic decision. Except it's the opposite of one.  I wrote about all the Afghan assets in U.S. custody last summer. "Ahmady estimates that $7 billion of DAB's assets are being held by the Federal Reserve which includes the gold, the bills and bonds, $300 million in cash, and another $2.4 billion in World Bank funds for aiding developing countries. There’s also $700 million at the Bank for International Settlements and another $1.3 billion in international accounts."  Since then the question of the assets has been pretty clearly clarified.........4 comments

U.S. Gov Think Tank Claims U.S. is "Heartless" for Giving Taliban Money to 9/11 Victims

Washington D.C. is chock full of worthless think tanks that seem to exist to employ the friends of the well-connected and which produce absolutely nothing. Some, like the Brookings Institute, are openly affiliates of enemy terror states like Qatar, and there's the Wilson Center, which is a partly government-funded operation under the aegis of the Smithsonian.  The Wilson Center isn't spectacularly bad on its own, but taxpayers shouldn't be funding this garbage. Here's just a sample of a few recent Wilson Center tweets...........12 comments

Media Refuses to Cover Explosive New Clinton Spying Story, Covers Hillary's New Hat

Spygate was a public-private partnership between Clinton allies linked to the campaign and media, and Clinton-Obama people in the government. But this latest revelation is still a demonstration of just how far Clinton allies went in spying on Trump........12 comments

Mayor Adams: Vaccine Mandates Will Remain Until 100% of New Yorkers are Vaccinated

Anyone who was optimistic about Eric Adams taking over New York City is being rapidly disabused. Criminalizing Dissent in Canada

Lefties in western countries keep bemoaning "authoritarianism" while behaving like authoritarians. Orwellian convolutions of language are used to redefine their political opponents, no matter how powerless, as "authoritarians" even while they accuse them of sedition and incitement which is the sort of language actual authoritarians use to stifle political dissent. ............1 comment

The People Are Angry... And They'd Like More of the Same

People are angry. Yet so many are also dumb. It's not that they're ignorant, illiterate, and incapable of combining simple words into sentences. Spies Like Hillary

John Durham's latest revelation casts disturbing light on Hillary's private spy network and "Russiagate".  If you were to watch CNN, the former cable news network’s biggest story about Hillary Clinton is that she’s selling a $32 baseball cap with “But Her Emails Hat” stitched on it pink as a “dad hat”.  Unlike Jeffrey Epstein and Vince Foster, Hillary and CNN’s credibility really did kill themselves.  Compared to Uranium One, the Lincoln Bedroom, and the State Department, this lame meme may be the least offensive thing that Vince Foster’s former boss ever sold at a markup.............6 comments

Model Afghan Refugee Sexually Assaulted Woman Who Helped Resettle Him

Police Chief promises to educate Afghans about "American legal and social expectations.”  They work quickly.  As soon as Haji Matiullah Matie arrived in the United States, he became the poster boy for Afghan refugees.  In November 2021, as swarms of unvetted Afghan refugees airlifted by Biden with Taliban permission arrived in the United States, military social media accounts made him the face of Operation Allies Welcome and promoted stories about his reunion with an officer he had known.  It no doubt helped that Matie had served as a “facilitator and fixer” for Marine Lt. Gen. Lawrence Nicholson. Unlike the Americans who were beaten in the streets, Matie and his family got a password and a special sign that got him access to the airport and a free ride to America.............20 comments

Countdown to National Bankruptcy

How to destroy the economy with this one weird socialist trick.  On Feb 1, the New York Times ran an article warning that the national debt had topped $30 trillion for the first time, leaving us in so much debt that “the government would need to spend an amount larger than America’s entire annual economy in order to pay it off."  That’s a problem.  Five days later, the same paper ran a puff piece touting Modern Monetary Theory and its claim that you can just print as much money as you want to fund an infinite welfare state. The “economic theory” embraced by Bernie Sanders, AOC, and Starbucks hipsters everywhere “posits that if a government controls its own currency and needs money…it can just print it.”..........24 comments

Biden to Spend $7.5B on Electric Chargers for 1% Californians

You've gotta give Biden credit. When it comes to paying his donors, he doesn't give up. The billions for electric chargers were in his pork infrastructure bill which had far more to do with sending money to his Big Green donors than infrastructure. Now Tesla owners everywhere will, one day, be able to join free electric car chargers while the national debt passes $30 trillion. Seniors worried that hospital reimbursements have a few years to go before they hit the wall? Biden doesn't care. Electric car chargers for the rich? Sold............4 comments

The Problem Isn't Just an Economic or Technological Monopoly, But a Cultural Monopoly

I'm a big supporter of using antitrust to go after Big Tech monopolies, but it's important to understand that the vast concentrations of power are primarily a cultural problem that is expressed through these monopolies. Silicon Valley's past flirtations with libertarianism have largely given way to lockstep leftism.  We would be facing a huge problem either way, but the ability of a handful of companies concentrated around places like the Bay Area, Austin, Seattle, and so forth gave the culture of these areas vast amounts of control that were used to fund radical politics across America. As bad as Soros is, he doesn't hold a candle to the sheer concentrated funding of leftist causes that flows from the executives and top employees of Big Tech companies. And, more importantly, their ability to control and shape the marketplace of ideas. ................ 2 comments

Can a Bureaucrat Decide If an Amendment Gets Added to the Constitution?
