Plot to Lynch Police Officer in Breonna Taylor Case Fails - Before the Black Lives Matter race riots and the endorsement of the
hate group by every major corporation and branch of government, juries
could be counted on to do their jobs. Since then that's no longer been
the case with successful lynchings of police officers in the George

case where police officers were literally shooting back, was a
spectacular violation of the law. And it failed...............3 comments

Islam is the Only Winner in the Ukraine War - A tough choice between Muslim Europe and Muslim Russia. Russia, with a birth rate of 1.5 children per woman, has invaded
Ukraine, where the birth rate is 1.2 children per woman, to determine
which nation with below replacement birth rates will go extinct the

whether Ukraine will belong to the 1.2 or 1.5 people will be the Chechen

Don't Just "Fund the Police", Fund the Prisons - Biden, trying to run away from his party's pro-crime record, embraced "Fund the Police" at the State of the Union. Funding the police is fine (especially if you stop trying to lock

criminals don't get locked up. Here's a disgusting case in point out of New York City...........1 comment
Fact Check: Would France Resist If Russia Invaded Paris? - Since pointless fact checks over largely unimportant things are all the rage, we might as well join the fun...........Let's see. The Franco-Prussian war ended with the French fighting among
themselves instead of securing Paris, with the whole thing ending in a
German victory and another radical leftist gang running Paris. That was positively heroic compared to the French surrendering,
mostly accepting Vichy control, and acting as Nazi collaborators. The
so-called French Resistance was not especially French. And certainly not
representative of French elites in Paris...............

‘Afghan Adjustment Act’ Would Legalize 36,000 Unvetted Afghans - Don’t ask questions, just give them their citizenship. Biden’s evacuation brought tens of thousands of Afghans to America. The majority of them were not interpreters, had no visas, and no
basis for entering the country. Despite that, they were rapidly brought
here with virtually no vetting, dropped off at military bases, and then
put through the resettlement process across the United States. There’s no one problem...............10 comments
Flashback to When Russia Armed and Provided Intel to Saddam Ahead of U.S. Invasion -One way to think of the initial U.S. role in Afghanistan was that it
was payback to Russia for Vietnam by a generation of officers that had
seen it close up. And they wanted to give the Russians their own
Vietnam. Similarly, another way to think of Ukraine is payback to Russia for
Iraq from a generation of officers that saw that one up close. In the years after the Gulf War, Saddam grew closer than ever to Russia. And the Russians provided intel and weapons right up to the war........They also provided weapons that were used against us.......While most Americans have forgotten, there are people in the military with a longer memory..........1 comment
There's only one article that's been posted by Daniel today, at least thus far. Here it is and it's a goodie, especially his comparison of Biden's painful ramblings as a "Vogon poetry of word salads, non-sequiturs, mumbles,
grumbles, malapropisms, and random interjections, 120 extra seconds is
an eternity." Admittedly, I had to look them up, and Vogons are a fictional alien race and are described as:
"one of the most unpleasant races in the
galaxy—not actually evil, but bad-tempered, bureaucratic, officious and
callous"...... "the third worst poetry in the universe".

Other than the "not actually evil" this fits Biden's speeches and thoughts.
3,720 seconds of lies, fearmongering, and malapropisms. A confused political hack from Delaware staged a one-man
insurrection by invading the sacred precincts of the Capitol building,
hijacking all the TV networks, and yelling that the planet would be
destroyed unless we gave him all our money so he could burn it and turn
it into green energy.
Joseph Robinette Biden Jr, who loves the sound of his voice more

already inflicted the second longest opening address in the history of
this nation with a 2021 marathon address that killed more brain cells

This picture is a clear depiction of just how out of touch with reality this administration is. Whether it's domestic or foreign policy they see through reality through a distorting lens, and those distortions impact virtually everything they say and do. Leftists are ruling America, and ruling badly. Why are we surprised? Dystopia follows leftism as faithfully as Sancho Panza followed Don Quixote, a madman. That's history and that history is incontestable.
A Reckoning Approaches for Obama's EPA Abuses -The Supreme Court's willingness to consider West Virginia v. EPA

the Obama administration. The media is vehemently denying that West Virginia v. EPA is still

environment where the abuses of the Obama administration have often been
quickly buried, the determination to keep pursuing West Virginia v. EPA

Biden’s Supreme Court Pick is a Racist Attack on the Constitution - It’s not about gender or race: it’s about power. When Biden announced that he would only consider black women for the
Supreme Court, the vast majority of Americans rejected racial
gatekeeping for the highest court in the land. 76% of Americans wanted him to consider all candidates regardless of
their race and gender. Less than a quarter of the country wanted Biden
to limit the nomination by race and gender. Even 54% of Democrats

Counterpoint: What If This is WW3? - In previous articles and posts I made the case that this is by no
stretch of the imagination World War 3. Despite Putin’s saber rattling,
this is an attempt by Russia to reclaim another vital chunk of its
former empire and the Soviet Union. It may be more grandiose, but still limited. This counterpoint contemplates another possibility. Russian military
doctrine thrives on the maskirovka. The obvious manifestation of this
came when the Russian regime insisted repeatedly it was not about to
invade Ukraine, right before it invaded Ukraine. Observers have noted
Russia’s stumbling military tactics in the invasion, particularly the
lack of proper air power deployment. It’s inconceivable that the Ukrainian air force should be operating at all at this late date, and yet it is.

Widely Hated Leader of Economically Troubled Nation to Speak On "Optimism" - Not Putin, Biden. Biden's domestic message for the State of the Union is going to be
"optimism". Considering that Biden is hated by the country, which is
deep in inflation, debt and general unhappiness, that's like the
punchline to a Borsch Belt joke. A pity that Jackie Mason is no longer around to tell it. I can't think of any issue that Biden has less credibility on than
optimism. And that's saying something. Worse still it smacks of a
Carteresque moment. Americans don't hire leaders to tell them about optimism. Inspirational messages are nice, but when detached from real action, are
just hollow posturing ................1 comment
Biden Wants to Declare Victory on COVID. He Can't - Before Ukraine became the big story, the centerpiece of the Biden
State of the Union address was supposed to be the declaration that the
war on COVID had finally been won. Of course the war had not been won. The rapid collapse of mask mandates
is not the result of some massive breakthrough in science, it’s the
result of polling which firmly established that the majority of the
country was sick and tired of the public health security state. And
those polls followed severe political defeats in elections, particularly
Virginia, brought on by the bottomless greed of teachers’ unions which
insisted on shutting down schools. That’s not a plan, it’s a retreat.............2 comments

Are We Underestimating or Overestimating the Russian Military? - Trained military observers watching the Russian invasion of

the operation and its seeming lack of coordination and effectiveness.
Russia is a world power and its military is that of a world power. In
the air and on the ground, not taking into account guerilla warfare, the
Russians should be performing much better than they are. Particularly
when it comes to the air war, there shouldn’t have even been one, the
Russians should have been able to achieve total air superiority right
from the start. The fact that the Russian forces still don’t have total
air superiority is baffling trained military experts...............2 comments

got on board. While the Left, including Demand Justice, which had

which wanted an activist who happened to be black, over his black

Biden's destructive energy policies goes beyond high prices for energy here in the US. During the Trump years America was not only energy independent, we sold energy to Europe. Now that's off the table making Russia far more important to Europe's economy than ever, and Putin clearly saw this. Couple that with their incredibly stupid "green energy" polices Germany and other European nations adopted, and it was an invitation to disaster. And now it's here. Neither Europe, NATO, the United Nations or the EU are going to do a thing about it. All thanks to the dipstick in the White House.
There is one uptick to this though. Once again John Kerry reminds us that he too would have been an awful president. America missed a bullet there. Or as the writer notes, Kerry is "so committed to his job that he’s unafraid to look like
a blithering idiot". I think that's a common affliction in the Biden administration. And it starts right at the top.

Was a Woman Murdered Because Critical Race Theory Taught Her She Was a Racist? - Did she lecture herself about her prejudices and ignore her common sense? During the violent Black Lives Matter race riots, the blog for the Splice platform offered
the ritual BLM slogan and urged everyone to "educate yourself on the
Blacks Lives Matter movement and how you can become a better supporter."
One of the company's BLM tips included garbage like, "6 ways Asian
Americans can tackle anti-black racism in their families". Two years later, Splice offered an RIP to "our beloved Christina
Lee" who was "senselessly murdered in her home." It asked everyone to
remember the 35-year-old New Yorker as "dedicated to making beautiful
and inclusive artwork." Even Lee’s murder had to be reframed in the service of diversity,
equity, and inclusivity, when it was really caused by the cultlike
obedience to the critical race theory obsession with equity...............

Insane Vaccine Rules Are Making New York Lose - Mayor Bill de Blasio was notorious for his sheer combination of
corruption, ineptitude, and wokeness. That made him stand out even in a
crowded field of insane and incompetent mismanagers. And now everyone is
trying to make sense of New York City's bizarre and corrupt pandemic
rules. Probably the most notorious of those rules allowed entertainers
passing through the city to play games or appear at concerts to be exempt from those very same rules.............3 comments
Another round of insightful commentaries you just won't see elsewhere. I've added another Daily to P&D. The Daily Hoft. I hope all will find these two parts of P&D worthwhile. In the meanwhile, enjoy Daniel's offerings in today's edition.
Black Lives Matter co-founder Patrisse Cullors said she's being
targeted by the government for her "long legacy" of activism, her first
public remarks since the charity voluntarily shut down its ability to
raise funds amid legal threats from blue states.
There was a minor issue with seemingly no actual officers and no one
being accountable for $60 million. Also "charity" should be in quotes.
"It's this idea that I'm sneaky or I'm doing something
nefarious, and that's incredibly anti-black and sexist," Cullors said
during an interview Wednesday with Morehouse College. "We have to call
it what it is."
I amply documented any number of cases like this. The latest one comes from Dan who has spent a lot of time digging into ADL misconduct..........."Rabbi" should be in quotation marks. But should "Jewish civil rights group" when discussing the ADL.............4 comments
The airline industry, whose greed is only matched by its outright
abusiveness, would like the federal government to maintain a no-fly list
of "unruly passengers". How about, no. Also, no way in hell.............

How much did San Francisco voters want to oust the most obnoxious three members of the school board: Alison Collins, Gabriela López and Faauuga Moliga?
Initial returns Tuesday night showed that voters overwhelmingly
voted “yes” to recall Alison Collins, Gabriela López and Faauuga Moliga,
three of the board’s seven members — 79 percent voted to remove
Collins, 75 percent to remove Lopez and 73 percent to remove Moliga. The
early results were dramatic enough that backers quickly declared
victory and Moliga acknowledged his apparent defeat.
Collins, who was already being ousted over racist comments about Asians, and is in the middle of a legal battle, is clearly really popular with voters...............1 comment
My Take -No voter fraud? Two things, they may have been so arrogant they didn't think they needed to tamper with this recall, or the returns were so massive it was impossible to work a rational fraud. Interesting.
Update: Wokester bloodbath: Blue San Francisco throws out three Board of Education leftists by monster margins - The margins, according the Chronicle, were 79% to 21% to boot Collins;
75% to 25% to oust Lopez, and 72% to 28% to kick Moliga to the curb. As
the Chron notes, they were on the ballot because they could be on the
ballot -- the rest likely would have been thrown out too, were they
eligible. The city will hold new elections in seven months, but San
Francisco voters couldn't wait even that long to let these particular
leftists know.
You could hear the creaks and moans as the media finally got around
to covering the Durham filing on DNS surveillance of Trump Tower and the
White House by Clinton allies. The New York Times fittingly took the lead of trying to argue that it was no big deal. And that required some heavy lifting..........1 comment
Nothing to see here folks. Meanwhile, parents speaking out at school board meetings are domestic terrorists..................Does being an activist with a racist hate group whose motto comes from a wanted domestic terrorist possibly
offer a motive? Nah, as usual it's mental illness. We're told
repeatedly that it has nothing to do with Black Lives Matter. So a bail fund linked to BLM is bailing him out.............

This cartoon could be used on every article dealing with leftist clap trap. If you take away the projection, logical fallacies, misinformation, obfuscation of fact and outright lies from anything these misfits say, the result would be silence. Blessed silence.
"The term “cancel culture” comes from entitlement - as though the
person complaining has the right to a large, captive audience," Rep.
Alexandria Ocasio Cortez tweeted a while back. Now she decided to lay out her entitlement to killing and hating Jews........Here's what Marc Lamont Hill actually said.........There's nothing new here. The Anti-Israel Left routinely characterizes the most blatant forms
of antisemitism and calls for the murder of Jews as criticizing the
Israeli government. ......

I hate avocados. But I have a wife who loves them and in California,
it's all but impossible to get good ones unless you plant a tree in
your own backyard. Environmentalists and open border globalist traders wrecked
California's avocado business. Water management starved farms,
especially those with 'thirsty' crops, and the door was opened to
massive avocado imports from Mexico. This was seen as win-win. Mexico would bear the cost of growing avocados while California farmers could go to hell. California elites would get cheap avocados and everything would work out. .........33 comments
Only one can win. As Governor Rod Blagojevich once said of Obama's Senate seat, “It's a
f____ valuable thing, you just don't give it away for nothing." A Supreme Court seat is even more valuable and with the Senate
stalemated, the two big factions of the Democrat base are furiously
fighting over who gets to ‘Blagojevich’ it. The superannuated struggle over the seat of Justice Stephen Breyer,
who chose to retire at the age of 83, pits Rep. Jim Clyburn, 81, against
Senator Bernie Sanders, 80. Both are demanding that Joe Biden, 79, let
them ‘Blagojevich’ the “f____ valuable” Supreme Court seat.............15 comments
The media once used to at least pretend to care about facts, these days its only interest is in narratives. And as the New York Times and Sarah Palin libel case demonstrated,
no matter how often a narrative or a smear goes down, the media just
shamelessly pops it back up again. This one is from 2014 but it's getting new life because the trial is
on. And that means j-school grads with zero life experience outside of
watching TikTok videos are ready with their hot takes...........2 comments
Not just, but close enough. The Hulk Hogan case was a carefully contrived ambush against a
powerful and utterly reckless New York City blog that had become so
arrogant that it casually published stolen nude photos and sex tapes
while sneering at the idea of a lawsuit. While the New York Times' trial performance was mediocre, it didn't compare to this spectacular moment from the Gawker/Hulk Hogan case...............2 comments
A fundamental principle of a just society is that even if the laws
themselves are unjust, they apply to everyone equally. If they don't,
it's a tyranny. Here's Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in 2020......Now, Trudeau has escalated the crackdown on civil rights by
unleashing emergency powers against the trucker protest in Ottawa. Trudeau insisted that the truckers don't represent a peaceful
protest. While I have issues with protesters blocking roads, no matter
what cause they represent, you either treat everyone equally or you
don't......7 comments
Muslim countries that have religious freedom are as rare as hen's
teeth. Islam is built around the denial of religious freedom. The cry
of, "Allahu Akbar" is based on religious supremacy through ethnic
cleansing. While the targets in that case were Jews, the same has gone
for Christians, Hindus, and any other religious group unlucky enough to
be caught up in the fires of the Islamic conquests. But the Biden administration insists on carrying on Obama's work.
And that means pursuing a Jihad against any country or culture that,
according to Obama, ought to have no future because they don't submit to
Mohammed and his hateful campaign. This was December of last year..........9 comments
Biden probably thinks this is a Solomonic decision. Except it's the opposite of one. I wrote about all the Afghan assets in U.S. custody last summer. "Ahmady estimates that $7 billion of DAB's assets are being held
by the Federal Reserve which includes the gold, the bills and bonds,
$300 million in cash, and another $2.4 billion in World Bank funds for
aiding developing countries. There’s also $700 million at the Bank for
International Settlements and another $1.3 billion in international
accounts." Since then the question of the assets has been pretty clearly clarified.........4 comments
Washington D.C. is chock full of worthless think tanks that seem to
exist to employ the friends of the well-connected and which produce
absolutely nothing. Some, like the Brookings Institute, are openly affiliates of enemy
terror states like Qatar, and there's the Wilson Center, which is a
partly government-funded operation under the aegis of the Smithsonian. The Wilson Center isn't spectacularly bad on its own, but taxpayers
shouldn't be funding this garbage. Here's just a sample of a few recent
Wilson Center tweets...........12 comments
Spygate was a public-private partnership between Clinton allies
linked to the campaign and media, and Clinton-Obama people in the
government. For now the Durham investigation has only done so much and has
focused on the "private" part of the partnership. But this latest
revelation is still a demonstration of just how far Clinton allies went in spying on Trump........12 comments
Anyone who was optimistic about Eric Adams taking over New York City is

Lefties in western countries keep bemoaning "authoritarianism" while
behaving like authoritarians. Orwellian convolutions of language are
used to redefine their political opponents, no matter how powerless, as
"authoritarians" even while they accuse them of sedition and incitement
which is the sort of language actual authoritarians use to stifle
political dissent.............1 comment
Democrats embraced pro-crime policies, and cities under their rule

People are angry. Yet so many are also dumb. It's not that they're ignorant, illiterate, and incapable of
combining simple words into sentences. It's that they can see the

misinformation and repeating the same stupid ideas in the hopes that
somehow they'll work better this time around............1 comment
John Durham's latest revelation casts disturbing light on Hillary's private spy network and "Russiagate". If you were to watch CNN, the former cable news network’s biggest
story about Hillary Clinton is that she’s selling a $32 baseball cap
with “But Her Emails Hat” stitched on it pink as a “dad hat”. Unlike Jeffrey Epstein and Vince Foster, Hillary and CNN’s credibility really did kill themselves. Compared to Uranium One, the Lincoln Bedroom, and the State
Department, this lame meme may be the least offensive thing that Vince
Foster’s former boss ever sold at a markup.............6 comments
Police Chief promises to educate Afghans about "American legal and social expectations.” They work quickly. As soon as Haji Matiullah Matie arrived in the United States, he became the poster boy for Afghan refugees. In November 2021, as swarms of unvetted Afghan refugees airlifted by
Biden with Taliban permission arrived in the United States, military
social media accounts made him the face of Operation Allies Welcome and
promoted stories about his reunion with an officer he had known. It no doubt helped that Matie had served as
a “facilitator and fixer” for Marine Lt. Gen. Lawrence Nicholson.
Unlike the Americans who were beaten in the streets, Matie and his
family got a password and a special sign that got him access to the
airport and a free ride to America.............20 comments
How to destroy the economy with this one weird socialist trick. On Feb 1, the New York Times ran an article warning that
the national debt had topped $30 trillion for the first time, leaving us
in so much debt that “the government would need to spend an amount
larger than America’s entire annual economy in order to pay it off." That’s a problem. Five days later, the same paper ran a puff piece touting Modern
Monetary Theory and its claim that you can just print as much money as
you want to fund an infinite welfare state. The “economic theory” embraced by Bernie Sanders, AOC, and Starbucks
hipsters everywhere “posits that if a government controls its own
currency and needs money…it can just print it.”..........24 comments
You've gotta give Biden credit. When it comes to paying his donors, he doesn't give up. The billions for electric chargers were in his pork infrastructure
bill which had far more to do with sending money to his Big Green donors
than infrastructure. Now Tesla owners everywhere will, one day, be able
to join free electric car chargers while the national debt passes $30
trillion. Seniors worried that hospital reimbursements have a few years to go
before they hit the wall? Biden doesn't care. Electric car chargers for
the rich? Sold............4 comments
This is even worse than his minor incursion line, not just politically, but because it gets to the heart of why Biden is a horrible person and president...........Some politicians shoot themselves in the foot. Others shoot America in the foot. Biden has a consistent track record of doing both............2 comments
I'm a big supporter of using antitrust to go after Big Tech
monopolies, but it's important to understand that the vast
concentrations of power are primarily a cultural problem that is
expressed through these monopolies. Silicon Valley's past flirtations
with libertarianism have largely given way to lockstep leftism. We would be facing a huge problem either way, but the ability of a
handful of companies concentrated around places like the Bay Area,
Austin, Seattle, and so forth gave the culture of these areas vast
amounts of control that were used to fund radical politics across
America. As bad as Soros is, he doesn't hold a candle to the sheer
concentrated funding of leftist causes that flows from the executives
and top employees of Big Tech companies. And, more importantly, their
ability to control and shape the marketplace of ideas.

I've been covering the Obama and Biden release of Gitmo Jihadis for a

of people.From the 9/11 Commission Report.........1 comment
While the Founding Fathers did their best to create documents that would
