Environmentalists and Globalists Turned Over the Avocado Business to Mexico. Now the Cartels are in Charge.

I hate avocados. But I have a wife who loves them and in California, it's all but impossible to get good ones unless you plant a tree in your own backyard.  Environmentalists and open border globalist traders wrecked California's avocado business. Water management starved farms, especially those with 'thirsty' crops, and the door was opened to massive avocado imports from Mexico. This was seen as win-win.  Mexico would bear the cost of growing avocados while California farmers could go to hell. The media once used to at least pretend to care about facts, these days its only interest is in narratives. And as the New York Times and Sarah Palin libel case demonstrated, no matter how often a narrative or a smear goes down, the media just shamelessly pops it back up again. Not just, but close enough.  The Hulk Hogan case was a carefully contrived ambush against a powerful and utterly reckless New York City blog that had become so arrogant that it casually published stolen nude photos and sex tapes while sneering at the idea of a lawsuit.  While the New York Times' trial performance was mediocre, it didn't compare to this spectacular moment from the Gawker/Hulk Hogan case...............2 comments
