This has been another dazzling week of corruption and cowardice.  It's been so bad we're now seeing it being exposed even the main stream media acknowledges that.  These lawfare attacks against Trump have been backfiring with the public, and on a scale that must have these leftist nitwit strategists stunned, and now, these prosecutors and judges are being challenged and attacked for their blatantly twisted reasoning and misuse of American justice. 

They've turned the foundational rules of law into kangaroo courts reminiscent of third world dictators.  Only in America, there's a penalty to be paid for that.  Before this story plays out, someone's gong to jail, and it's not going to be Trump, except possibly over this corrupt, and I think illegal gag order imposed on Trump by a blatantly partisan and corrupt judge, Juan Merchan.  

Trump says he's prepared to go to jail over this to defend the Constitution if necessary.  Well, I think Merchan thought he was so clever with this gag order ruse, but this is coming back to haunt him.  If he puts Trump in jail over this, it's really going to hit the fan.  If Trump is elected, I'm expecting to see a nationwide RICO investigation into all these prosecutors and judges since it's clear there's been a lot of communications between them and the White House, i.e., a criminal conspiracy to silence a presidential contender, and illegally influence a national election.  

What I'm really enjoying is seeing the media attacking these misfit demonstrators on America's college campuses, and the totally unfit administrations and professors of these institutions, who for the most part all seem to be radical Marxists, DEI hires and plagiarists, like Harvard's Claudine Gay, who are turning out morons as graduates, and a lot of them are going to find this is going to come back to haunt them when they go job hunting.  No one wants trouble makers and cry baby snow flakes as employees, especially since they're probably not going to be qualified anyway since these "elite" institutions dropped their standards in order to graduate DEI students who not that many years ago wouldn't have been there in the first place.  But neither would these administrators or professor either.

Also, this issue involving Speaker Johnson and Marjorie Taylor Greene isn't over.  While on the surface it appears she's lost in her challenge of his Speakership, but that was understood right from the beginning of this challenge.  And I have no doubt she understood that, and I also think she understood that was merely the first volley, sending a warning message to all the RINO's in Congress and those coming into the Congress.  The party's over.  And when the last volley is shot, Johnson will be gone, and she will be one of the most influential members of the Republican House because she's fearless, she thrives on confrontation, she's unconcerned about being attacked, she unconcerned about being liked, she challenges the media, and she's just Ulysses S. Grant, she fights.  That scares the bejeebers out of the invertebrates in the go along to get along crowd.

Vote to Oust! It'll Be a Good Object Lesson

One thing that's always been true of human nature. If you permit people to commit bad acts without suffering repercussions, they'll not only continue in their bad behavior, their behavior will worsen.  That's Speaker Johnson, and the reason his popularity is soaring among Democrats, even though they pretty much hate him, but they now know he's their boy and will give them what they want never bucking the system in fear government shutdown before the election.  Ergo, more bad behavior, which I outline in my

On May 2, 2024 Sally Zelikovsky posted this article, To Oust Or Not To Oust?, saying:

Conservatives are haunted by House Republicans who make all manner of campaign promises but, once in office, forget their obligations to voters or justify why they reneged on their word to support or reject a particular piece of legislation. Our biggest disappointments to date are probably their epic failure regarding Obamacare and capitulations ad nauseam regarding anything budgetary.

Well, no conservative can find fault with that statement, but she goes on to claim this whole mess with electing and then ousting McCarthy as Speaker was a "bloody mess", and it was, but she clearly feels this should be a lesson to Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene and not happen again. She then goes on to state:

Wondering how deep the rift might be, I decided to poll Tea Party and MAGA conservatives who belong to 75m & Rising, a group I started after Trump’s 2020 loss. I asked:

“Do you support Marjorie Taylor Greene’s efforts to oust Speaker Michael Johnson?” Out of 280 responses, 23.2% were Yes; 38.9% were No; and 37.9% agreed that “While Republicans must change how they do business, the solution isn’t ousting him at this time.”

In this solid sample of Tea Party and MAGA conservatives—precisely the type of individuals who support politicians like Gaetz and Greene—76.8% do not support ousting Speaker Johnson......

All that sounds great, but the fact is his popularity among the nation's Republican's is crashing, so I think it well to look back through time and ask, when is the right time to take a stand? If it isn't done now, when? If not by Greene and company, then who?

The answer is always the same. "Never and no one". That question has been asked repeatedly, and “never and no one" has been the answer repeatedly, all the while claiming Republicans must change they way they do things.

Talk about cognitive dissonance.

The problem with her group poll is probably similar nationwide with those who claim to be conservatives.   About 15 years ago they did an analysis of the Republican party nationwide, and 5% were Ron Paul Republicans, 30% were Rockefeller Republicans, and in the leadership, and 65% were varying degrees of Reagan Republicans. Those numbers were reflective of Ohio then, and is just now changing, and the same is true for the Republican party nationwide.

Ron Paul Republicans are going to drift into the Reagan Republican category, and some Reagan Republicans will drift into the Ron Paul Republican category. But no one will be drifting into the Rockefeller Republican category.

Rockefeller RINO's are going to be sacrificed! They’re becoming extinct, except for the moles, like Johnson, and that will always be a problem, but to solve that it must be made clear treason to the conservative principles they ran on will cost them.

As Herodotus noted: Culture is king, and that's what this really is all about.   The Republican culture, which currently is a mess and disjointed, failing in definition or clarity, just like her group.  There's a reason the Republicans are called the Stupid Party, they earned it, and this is the chance to fix it.

The fix? The conservative caucus must unify behind Marjorie Taylor Greene and company and create that conservative culture, and do it now! And no matter what anyone thinks about Greene, she's just like U.S. Grant.  When Lincoln was told he needed to fire U.S. Grant becaue he drank too much, he said he can't because "he fights".  Well, like Grant, Greene fights!

It's clear the Democrats are going to support Johnson, so any move to remove him by Republicans will the thwarted. But such an effort to oust Johnson by Greene is a needed object lesson, in spite of the fact it will clearly fail, as this must be an object lesson and be part of a long range vision.

It must be made clear to RINO's, this is the future. No more Mr. Nice Guy, no more going along to get along. They will be declaring to the RINO's:

You wear the clothes, and you talk the talk of your peers to gain acceptance. Then secretly work to undermine those you claim to support corrupting all around you to prevent resistance to your hidden schemes that are detrimental to the nation. You are the enemies in our camp, and that's not acceptable.

That's a message that needs to be sent regularly.

Republican Control of the House

There's been a lot of turbulence in the Republican controlled House, and it's not been pretty.  But all this turbulence has really exposed who are the conservative members and who are not, and some of those who are not have abandoned their Republican colleagues by resigning, and have done so in such a way as to make it possible for the Democrats to take over.  And now we're seeing another battle over the Speakership, and giving Speaker Johnson's actions, we're not shocked.  

Marjorie Taylor Greene is spearheading the effort to remove him saying:  ’Yes I’m Willing to Force It' saying:

 “The reality for Mike Johnson that he just is not accepting or refusing to accept, publicly at least, is whether it happens two weeks from now, two months from now, or in the next majority, he will not be Speaker. He just will not be. There may be only two of us public right now. But he does not have the support of the conference at all. There may be people who might not vote to vacate him right now, but they will never vote for him to be Speaker next Congress. There are two large factions in the conference against his speakership.”

And she's not alone, and there's a lot of good reasons for that dissatisfaction!  There's a lot of  dissatisfaction with Johnson over foreign aid ‘Insanity’ that neglects the Southern Border:

House Republicans’ dissatisfaction with Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) is rapidly growing as Reps. Scott Perry (R-PA) and Jim Banks (R-IN) are sharing their frustrations about what Banks called “insanity” in Johnson’s foreign aid framework, which includes over three times as much money for Ukraine as it does for Israel while neglecting the U.S. Southern border. Perry took to X Tuesday to share an image of the framework, showing the bills allocate $48.83 billion to Ukraine, $14.1 billion for Israel, $2.4 billion for “Red Sea Operations,” $2.58 billion for “INDOPACOM,” and $3.3 billion for a “Submarine Industrial Base.”............

Okay, so just because there are some House members who are really upset at Johnson, including his support of continuing FISA with no restrictions, but what about the public?

Swing-State Voters Sour on Endless Ukraine Funding - Polling from the Heritage Foundation shows that swing-state voters are increasingly tired of America’s endless funding of Ukraine, especially with our southern border wide open for the ongoing invasion that His Fraudulency Joe Biden has deliberately created. Meanwhile, one of the leaders of the Republican Party, House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA), continues to push and push for Ukraine funding without demanding we first secure our own country from invasion.............

It appears more and more of the public is taking Greene's side.  Naturally Johnson calls Greene's motion to vacate  ‘Absurd’, and he will not resign, even to avoid a mess like the ousting of Speaker Kevin McCarthy, who make it clear it was all about him, and not the good of the party or the nation by resigning from Congress, making control of the House more problematic.  Where does Trump stand on this? He says:  We’ll see what happens!

There's a lot of talk about Marjorie Taylor Greene, and most of the time it isn't pleasant.  But so what?  When Lincoln was President his advisors wanted him to fire Grant as head of the army because he drank.... a lot!  Lincoln said no!  Why?  Because "he fights".   

Well, from what I can tell it appears Greene is rude, crude, fearless, totally unconcerned with being liked, and I wouldn't be surprised to find out she's difficult in her private life.  But so what?  She fights.  

As for the hysteria over a Democrat take over of the House due to the loss Republican members, I have to ask:  Is that really as bad a thing as they claim?  

There's talk they'll make Puerto Rico and Washington D.C. states giving them more control in Congress.  They'll pack the Supreme Court, and do so with nitwits like Sotomayor and Jackson.   Well, this is an election year, so would that kind of activity by a Democrat controlled House be so bad?  

First, I have serious doubts any of that would be accomplished, and it would make it totally clear just how vile the Democrats really are.  I believe that would drive more voters to support conservative Republicans.   However, some Democrats simply cannot find it in their hearts and minds to voter a for a Republican, but with what's going on, they might not vote at all.   That's a win.  

Here's my analysis for the Senate in 2024.   As for the public's discontent with these leftist nitwits who control the nation's major cities and turned them into economic disasters and crime riden sewers: NYC Chaos: Protesters Storm Stage During Mayor Adams’ Speech, with protestors saying what NYC needs is a new mayor.  

I think that's far more telling than any polls.  I've not believed in polls for over 30 years, and I've said don't tell me the polls, show me the crowds, and the crowds are not happy.

AFPAC vs. the 'America Last' GOP

Michelle Malkin cheers establishment-derided alternative to 'the moldy, Swamp-run CPAC'

GOP House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy returned from a congressional junket to Israel this week and immediately surrendered to the woke corporate media and leftist smear merchants. Is this the kind of America Last "leadership" grassroots conservatives want if Republicans take back Congress in November?

McCarthy told a CNN reporter on Monday that it was "appalling and wrong" for Republican Reps. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., and Paul Gosar, R-Ariz., to speak to the annual America First Political Action Conference, or AFPAC. I have personally addressed and supported AFPAC since its inception in 2019. It is the authentic alternative to the moldy, Swamp-run Conservative Political Action Conference, or CPAC, from which a rising generation of staunch immigration restrictionists and conservative Christians are banned and blacklisted (including me) – while drag queens, foreign sponsors, and Big Tech titans Google and Facebook have been welcomed by CPAC with open arms.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene: Congress Is ‘Failing the American People and the American People Have No Idea How Bad It Is'

Freshman Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, the outspoken, conservative Trump supporter from Georgia, is a pariah among lawmakers for those and other reasons.  On Wednesday, she returned the favor, explaining to Fox News's Tucker Carlson that she now understands why the country is deep in debt and "crumbling."

When I got to Congress, I found out, here's why we are in trillions of dollars of debt. Here's why our country feels like it is crumbling. Here's why the business -- it's a business, that's what Congress is, it runs the country -- this is why this business is failing, failing America, it's because most of the people that are there are not qualified to be there.

There are people that can only succeed in government or academia, or maybe they are attorneys that could not build their career big enough, so they decided to go into politics, or people that just pursued a political career because they love that life for what being a member of Congress gives them.......To Read More...

My Take - Greene answers Carlson when he says her description says: "They sound like losers," Carlson -- another target of media leftists -- told Greene: "I think a lot of them are losers," Greene agreed.  Well,, I've been involved in my industry's affairs for many years and I've met a lot of elected officials and in point of fact....she's right.  A lot of them are losers.  A lot are successful business people also, but somehow when they get elected they all of a sudden forget all those winning traits that made them successful and adopt leftist insanity.  Ergo....losers.

Chaney vs. Green: Republican Leadership is, at the Best of Times, A Leaky Vessel

Over the last few days there’s been a lot of fury in the Congress over the actions of some of it's members. First we had many Republicans who were outraged at Rep. Liz Cheney for voting in support of impeaching former President Trump, a clearly unconstitutional action.  

The Congress has no authority to try anyone for anything, especially a former sitting President of the United States.  The Congress can only remove him from office.  If a former POTUS has committed a crime during his time in office or after, that is the responsibility of the executive branch. 

If ever there was a posted child for political nepotism, it's Liz Chaney.  Her family spent their lives in Washington, she has to know the Congress has no Constitution authority here, how can she not know it? Yet she jumps up and declares something we know to be absolutely untrue: 

“The president of the United States summoned this mob, assembled this mob, and lit the flame of this attack,” Cheney said in a statement. “Everything that followed was his doing. None of this would have happened without the president. The president could have immediately and forcefully intervened to stop the violence. He did not.”She added, “There never has been a greater betrayal by a president of the United States of his office and his oath to the Constitution.”

That's a flat out lie.  In no way did he encourage violence, and it was clear from the beginning that was untrue to any rational or reasonable person. So, we must, and I repeat, we must, conclude this isn't a matter of conscience.  It's politics!

Kevin McCarthy, Republican leader of the House declared in her defense she was a real conservative.  Really?  On what planet?  As a result of his defense she survived the vote against her, by secret ballot by the way.  The vote was 61 for outing and 145 members for keeping her in the number three position in the Republican House leadership.  A clear demonstration those 145 “unknown to the public” Republicans valued their position in the "swamp" more than they valued their oath of office.  

Kevin McCarthy, who seems to be talking out of both sides of his mouth, can be blamed for encouraging the Republicans to vote against the clear views of their constituents, and the constituents in her state.

Then there's the Democrat uproar over Marjorie Taylor Greene for things she's stated in the past that must be considered unwise at best.   But those were all said before she was elected to Congress, and clearly that's her right.  It's called free speech.  Free speech issues have nothing to do with wisdom.

In America we have the right to hold unpleasant views and state them, no matter how stupid they may be.  No one has to like them, but that's a separate issue.  But she implied violence in her views, including to Nancy Pelosi.  Clearly not very wise, but make no mistake about this:  It's not unique either.  

Politicians, already in office, and in the Congress, especially Democrats, have been over the top with this type of violent hyperbolic rhetoric.

Federalist: Schumer Used Violent Rhetoric To Sic A Mob On Supreme Court Justices One year ago "Schumer incited a mob on the steps of the Supreme Court in order to bully justices to rule in Democrats' favor." “I want to tell you, Gorsuch, I want to tell you, Kavanaugh, you have released the whirlwind, and you will pay the price. Is anyone demanding he step down from being Majority leader?

 Sen. Kamala Harris solicited funds to bail out the rioters who destroyed Minneapolis during 2020’s “Summer of Rage.” 

Is anyone demanding her impeachment?

"Rep. Maxine Waters called on Democrats to seek out Republicans in public places and “create a crowd” and “push back” on them to let them know “they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere.”  

Are the Democrats going to punish her? 

"The Bernie Sanders supporter who nearly killed House Republican Whip Steve Scalise at a baseball field in Virginia said he was motivated to kill for “health care” after Sanders and other Democrats had said the Republican health care plan was to kill many Americans. 

Who is demanding he be tried for murder or removed from the Senate?

Sen. Cory Booker told his supporters at one gathering in D.C. to “Please don’t just come here today and then go home. Go to the Hill today. Get up and, please, get up in the face of some congresspeople.”  

And did anyone insist Booker be censured by the Senate?

Are Bernie, Nancy, Chuck, Maxine, Harris, Pressley, or any other Democrat who've been supportive of this kind of rhetoric being ostracized for their inflammatory actions? No, No, No, No, and No!   Nor is there any condemnation for any the other leftist calls for violence against conservatives.

Why?  Because they're leftist, Democrats, and radicals in support of Democrats.  Consistency of thought and morality are alien qualities to the Democrat party.  If that's true, and it is, why is it acceptable for the Democrats to demand the Republicans punish Greene, saying if the Republicans don't do it they will?

And naturally there has to be, as there always is, a logical fallacy thrown in to confuse the issue.  There were claims this created a moral conundrum for the Republicans.  Why.  The claim was if they acted against Chaney and didn't act against Green they were being hypocritical.  Wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!

I’ve been following this Rep. Green/Rep. Chaney issue from the beginning and other than linking some posts I wasn’t going to weigh in on it but….well….I’m Serbian, and I have some thoughts. 

First of all…..and here it comes…..this whole thing is a logical fallacy. 

Green has said some loony things, and has some loony ideas, but those were all expressed before she was elected to office. Attacking her is an attack on the first amendment. Even if she did express them after being elected, she has rights, and shouldn’t be removed by the Republicans from anything. She violated no laws or rules of the House, and this wouldn't have been a conundrum for them if they had guts, which I will explain later on. 

Since the Democrats did remove her, then they need to be forced to be consistent and remove all the members of “The Squad” from their positions for the outrageous, racist and antisemitic things they’ve said "while in office", including promoting violence against conservatives, whites, Christians, Jews, Republicans and Trump administration personnel, and that would include Nancy Pelosi and Maxine Waters.

However, in the case of Liz Chaney vs Marjorie Taylor Greene, – here’s the logical fallacy - this has nothing to do with Chaney's right to say and do as she sees fit.  That is an inappropriate comparison.

She had every right to make the decision she did. However, as a party leader, she's supposed to be representing the views of her party.  In point of fact, she has failed her party as it's leader, and the party has every right, and should have, removed her from her leadership position.

Patricia McCarthy in her article, Liz Cheney's and the RINOs' betrayal, states: 

Liz Cheney's statement of support for this nonsensical and unconstitutional second impeachment was truly disgusting.  She certainly knows that President Trump did not "summon the mob, assemble the mob and light the flame."  Her hyperbole is laughable.  It is she who should be removed from her third-in-line position in the House, along with truly anti-American bigots like Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib.

In an attempt to obfuscate who and what she is you may choose to call her actions a matter of conscience, or whatever you please, but this is not a First Amendment issue with Chaney.  It’s an issue of betrayal and bad performance.   

With regard to the removal of Green and/or Chaney:  Removing one has nothing to do with removing the other.  In Chaney's case it's the same as having a recall election for bad performance in office.  Just because invertebrates like Mitch McConnell have shot their mouths of throwing Green under the bus doesn’t change the logic, or the facts, involving this situation.

The Democrat party leadership is filled with petty, hypocritical, vindictive demagogues who are intellectually and morally flawed people, but unlike the Republicans, they surround and defend their loons like an iron ring.  

The Republican party leadership is, at the best of times, an intellectually and morally flawed leaky vessel, who if they told me day was light and night was dark, I'd have to go outside and check for myself.  They surround their loons with iron pikes and stab them to death. 

This kind of invertebrate thinking and mentality isn't isolated to politics.  This is the real pandemic facing America because it's infected America's leadership.  Whether it's politics, commerce, industry or even trade associations.  And make no mistake about this.........it's far more deadly to our freedoms than any virus.

In defense of Marjorie Taylor Green's views, some anti-semetic:  Andrea Widberg in her article, North Carolina's Lt. Governor shows how to fight back against a corrupt media notes: 

When it comes to Robinson, as with Majorie Taylor Green's ill informed statements about Jews, it's important to recognize that neither she nor Robinson backs his statements with active malevolence.  Unlike the anti-Semitic Democrats in Congress, neither has shown hostility to the Jewish state (so far as I know), and both support American values.

As Sally Zelikovsky said, the answer is to educate, not destroy, those Republicans who need a new understanding of Jews and Judaism.  The fact is that we have almost no fighters in the Republican Party.  We shouldn't jettison the ones we have because they're flawed.  We should, instead, work with them to make them better.

But one thing is clear.  The 'Crackdown' Only Begins with Marjorie Taylor Green:

The same "cancel" rhetoric used against the freshman from Georgia has been used against Jim Jordan, Matt Gaetz, Doug Collins, Ted Cruz, Josh Hawley, Tom Cotton, and even grandfatherly Mitch McConnell........

Nancy Pelosi, Steny Hoyer, Chuck Schumer, and Dick Durbin claim all Republicans are dangerous extremists when it serves their political purpose.....they depicted Paul Ryan murdering an elderly, wheelchair-bound woman to make a political point..... [and it's] not just elected officials who must be purged from society......... high-profile political players openly spoke of "reprogramming" Trump supporters.

They, as well as society as a whole, had better learn to embrace the fight, or go home and let those who understand what is necessary take their place.
