Is This the Best You Have? Francesca Hong

As I watch the circus of politics unfold I really have to wonder it anyone has any idea about what they're doing?  In Wisconsin the person who appears to be far ahead in the polls as the Democrat candidate for governor is far a left politician and a "deep red socialist",  Francesca Hong, who has been diagnosed as being mentally ill, and who thinks we should cancel Thanksgiving, and abolish the police.  When interviewed she babbles incoherently much like Kamala Harris, and it appears she's going to be the Democrat's choice for Governor?  Imagine that!

Andrea Widburg posted this article,  Wisconsin’s Francesca Hong: Too mentally fragile to become governor? saying, "It’s not just that she gets anxiety attacks from “old white people.” It’s also that she has a history of serious mental illness." Andrea then went on to list her priorities: 

1. Free school breakfasts and lunches for all students.
2. Paid family and medical leave.
3. Increased state funding for public schools and special education.
4. A higher minimum wage.
5. Tenant and affordable-housing protections.
6. Greater taxation of high earners and large corporations.
7. Immigration legislation limiting cooperation between state or local institutions and federal immigration enforcement.
8. A moratorium on major data-center construction until Wisconsin adopts stronger protections for its electric grid, water supply, and farmland.
9. A state-owned public bank

Her gubernatorial platform is similarly socialist:

1. Universal or heavily subsidized child care.
2. Universal paid family and medical leave.
3. Universal school meals.
4. A state role in reducing health-care costs and moving toward universal coverage.
5. A $20-per-hour minimum wage.
6. More state funding for schools and municipalities, reducing dependence on local property-tax referendums.
7. A new income-tax bracket for millionaires and higher taxes on wealthy individuals and some businesses.
8. Publicly owned or publicly operated services, including a state public bank

Ultimately, the state treasury is Hong’s piggy bank and the state’s earners are her indentured servants. She’s also in the “Israel is a genocidal nation” crowd, wants to end ICE and data centers, and used to claim that police needed defunding, although she’s trying to change her tune on that one.

While for normals that seems way over the top, but the fact is, there's something seriously wrong with the people of Wisconsin.  One radical judge vows to shield illegals from ICE agents.  The current Governor Tony Evers, wants to help illegal aliens to avoid ICE agents, and even issued guidelines to state employees to shield illegal aliens from ICE agents.  When you see what's going on in Wisconsin, it seems Hong is in harmony with the people of Wisconsin, which seem to be mentally disturbed radical socialists who may very well choose her as their next governor.  

• "Lt. Gov. Sara Rodriguez, long viewed as a front-runner, dropped out of the race July 17 after reports that her campaign mishandled finances," the report said. "One day later, Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley reentered the contest after suspending his campaign July 8.".........
•  A Socialist for Wisconsin? - Yesterday there was an earthquake of sorts in Wisconsin. Mandela Barnes, who was considered the early favorite for the Democratic nomination for governor, dropped out of the race. Barnes is pretty far left, but he is a former lieutenant governor who ran a competitive Senate race against Ron Johnson in 2022. In the 2024 version of the Democratic Party, however, he was left in the dust by socialist Francesca Hong......

She's so bad that even radical Governor Tony Evers is trying stop her, but they have no replacement as yet, and you can't beat somebody with nobody.  John Hinderaker calls her the Train Wreck In Wisconsin saying:

Hong is a far-leftist who, as noted in the earlier post, has called for Thanksgiving to be canceled and has advocated abolishing the Senate. But more information about her continues to come out. She was sued to recover defaulted credit card debt just a couple of months ago.......Who votes in Democratic primaries? A lot of financially irresponsible people with histories of mental illness who like socialism and hate Thanksgiving. 

His conclusion is that "Wisconsin’s governorship could be an easy pickup for Republicans in November."  So, who's the most likely Republican candidate?  U.S. Rep. Tom Tiffany, who is a solid Trump supporter, which some claim makes him as extreme as Hong, and in Wisconsin that may be a reality.

Final thought.  If Democrat claims about their voters being smarter than Republican voters were true, then why is it they're not smart enough to get an I.D?
