The 2024 Election As I See It!

“We are basically Democrats—all of us. [But] after what’s happened the last four years in this country, Democrats have basically pushed everybody to the other side.” — Bobby Bartells, New York Union Leader

Will College Protests Hurt Democrats?

Regarding the violent pro-Hamas, pro-terrorist protests:

  1. There are 30,000 students at Columbia University. About half the encampment and arrests were from NON-students.
  2. College Democrats of America, which is a pro-Biden mainstream organization, backs the pro-Hamas protestors.
  3. A recent Harvard Institute of Politics Survey of Young Americans had the Israel/Hamas ceasefire low on the list of concerns. According to the survey, young Americans are focused on domestic issues, where Joe Biden and the Democrats are failing.
  4. Harvard CAPS-Harris Survey showed 80 percent of registered voters polled support Israel.
  5. On May 1, 57 Democrats in Congress asked Biden to withhold aid to Israel in an effort to stop Israel from destroying Hamas’ last stronghold in Rafah.
  6. Fascinating that often times Pennsylvania Democrat Senator John Fetterman makes the most sense. Fetterman told Semafor: “The protesters at Columbia demonstrated that there are two factions of the protesters — there’s the pro-Hamas, and then there’s the really pro-Hamas.”
  7. Jonathan Zimmerman, a professor of history of education at the University of Pennsylvania, said:  “The real threat to Biden is that younger voters, especially college-educated voters, won’t turn out for him in the election. I wouldn’t expect that the protesters on campuses today are going to vote for Trump, almost none of them will. That’s not the danger here. The danger is much simpler: that they simply won’t vote.”

On the REPUBLICAN side, the Public Policy Institute of California conducted the first poll since the March Senate primaries. The results:

Democrat Liar Rep. Adam Schiff 61% Republican former LA Dodgers baseball player 37% Don’t know 02% .

Think of all the money Schiff would have had to spend in a political fight against Rep. Katie Porter … now Schiff is sleeping through the general campaign and using his millions of dollars to help other Marxist Democrats (in California and elsewhere) to win their elections.

On the THIRD-PARTY side, there have only been two instances in modern times when a third-party candidate influenced an election outcome, both to the detriment of the Democrat party. Since these candidates had progressive agendas, it’s likely their voters would gone to the Democrat candidate if they didn’t have a third-party option.

  • 2000—Green Party candidate Ralph Nader received 97,000 votes in Florida where Democrat candidate Al Gore lost to George W. Bush by about 500 votes. That gave the presidency to Bush.
  • 2016—Green Party candidate Jill Stein won votes in several swing states that Hillary Clinton lost by a slim margin.

On the INDEPENDENT side, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. insists that he has a viable chance of winning the presidency. At campaign stops, he frequently points out that he can win the election with just 34 percent of the votes. According to Kennedy, he can reach 34 percent simply by gaining 4.5 percent of voters who currently plan to vote for either Donald Trump or Joe Biden.
