Northern Border: Apprehensions are way up

The focus is always on our southern border, which thanks to the Biden administration is a mess. However, our northern border is having issues, too. There aren’t enough Border Patrol Agents and apprehensions have increased. Has America ever had anyone in the White House who has done so much damage to our nation? In “Northern Border Apprehensions Highest in US History First 6 Months of Fiscal ‘24,” Bethany Blankey at The Center Square wrote on May 10:

In the busiest northern border sector of Swanton, Border Patrol agents made history by apprehending the greatest number of illegal border crossers in sector history of 1,109 in March, according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection data. While the numbers are significantly lower than those apprehended at the southwest border, they are out of the ordinary for the northern border and its busiest sector. By comparison, agents apprehended 37 illegal border crossers in March 2021. 

 

Those they apprehended in March 2024 came from 40 countries. The top three nationalities of those apprehended were India (408), Bangladesh (323) and Mexico (170), Swanton Sector Chief Patrol Agent Robert Garcia said.

Morale Boosters: Reports from the border, By Thomas Langan, President Morale Boosters

Along with several southern California residents, recently visited the San Diego Border Patrol Sector and Agents assigned there. One of our stops was the ‘SAD’ (San Diego Area Detention Facility). We delivered ‘morale boosting’ items to the Agents inside, and they were more appreciative than usual. 

They’re the most demoralized group of Agents we’ve seen in the six years we’ve served. Roughly 100 Agents and Officers per shift at the SAD are working 24/7 to process illegals and load them onto unmarked busses to be transported across the country. 

All the illegals, from the start of their journey to the SAD, have been TOLD to vote for Joe Biden by cartel members, NGOs, and democrat operatives. I reported that and other info we’ve learned in a recent American Thinker article. Seeing what our Agents are forced to do to keep their jobs and knowing what Democrats are doing is disturbing, but makes us more determined than ever to help boost their morale.
