And the lies keep piling up, or perhaps I should say keep "catching" up to the Fauci cabal?  After years of debate, former COVID response coordinator acknowledges pandemic source ‘probably a lab leak’ -

Make no mistake, if it wasn't for the corruption of the Pravda media none of this could have taken place.  If they'd done the job journalists are supposed to do they'd have reported the data was fraudulent, these shots weren't real vaccines, that these compounds were killing people, that this was a ..... watch out now.... here it comes..... a vast left wing conspiracy to steal the 2020 fraudulent election of Joe Biden.

There is a frustrating contradiction when it comes to the way public information is assessed for factual truth.  For decades, prominent news organizations have steadily lost credibility.  Fewer Americans than ever believe what The New York Times, CNN, NPR, or even the AP publishes as the “objective” record of current events.  At the same time, however, alternative, competing descriptions of current events are almost entirely ignored.  No matter how compelling or factually sourced a story might be, it is largely disregarded until mainstream corporate news institutions are willing to recognize its validity.

The only thing that will fix these myrmidons of the left is if they are driven out of business because no one cares what they think or care.  There's a reason Americans’ confidence in TV News and newspapers is in the toilet.  They've proven over and over again nothing they're saying is trustworthy as they've been caught in lies so often, and some of the lies were blatantly obvious to the most casual observer.  Lies that were presented with unbelievable arrogance, a clear demonstration of their contempt for the public.

Let's start out with Justice American Style:

This is a question I think should be obvious to the most casual observer. When it comes to crime, criminals, punishment and culture... What is wrong with our minds?  

Criminals who've committed serious crimes are released without bail, given a slap on the wrist sentences, and paroled right back into the communities they befoul.  In one case a convicted  transgender "strangled an eleven month old baby, and was only sentenced to 55 years.  This ... at least in my view... bodes well the need to ask and answer a few questions:

1. What kind of monster murders an eleven month old baby?
2. What kind of judge would only sentence him to 55 years?
3. What kind of bleeding heart nitwits paroled this monster who continues to demonstrate he's mentally deranged insisting he's really a woman and is "demanding taxpayer-funded “gender-affirming” surgery", and an Obama judge agreed. 

He also sued President Trump for hurtful transgender speech.  Amazing, let's see if I understand this correctly. A man who could coldly strangle an eleven month old baby child to death has feelings?  Did I get that right? 

As a solution to crime, catch and release really doesn't work.  Another violent black thug got himself killed attacking the police and ... watch out now, here it comes.....the race baiters are outraged demanding "justice" for Corey Durell Ruiz.  And you're shocked... right?

Corey Durell Ruiz died on a public street in Madison, Wisconsin, on July 22 with a fixed-blade knife in his hand and roughly 40 prior convictions on his record.  Within forty-eight hours, protesters had stormed a police press conference, civil rights attorney Ben Crump had flown in to call the shooting an “execution,” and the mayor was promising a “rigorous” investigation of the officer. 

 Here's the part the really outlines this issue best:

Nobody at either microphone asked the obvious question: why was a man with 15 years of documented violent conduct, including two felony convictions for assaulting police, riding a bicycle through a residential neighborhood on a weekday afternoon instead of sitting in a cell?..........

 Here's what the record shows. Wisconsin public records reviewed by NBC News list roughly 40 misdemeanor and felony convictions for Ruiz from 2009 to 2025, including felony resisting an officer with substantial bodily harm and felony threats against police in 2021, per Urban Milwaukee, and two counts of strangulation and robbery by force in 2009. In between: theft, disorderly conduct, drug possession, bail jumping, and auto theft, per a history compiled from Wisconsin court records. It reads less like a rap sheet than a career.

Four questions:

1. Option one - You believe all this is spontaneous? 
2. Option two - You believe this is part of an organized national scheme on the left to destroy society?  
3. Who votes for option two?  
4. How many think he finally got the justice he deserved? 

It's time to revisit the New York Times v. Sullivan:

The media has been out of control with outrageous claims forever, which both William Randolph Hearst and Joseph Pulitzer excelled in.  They called it "yellow journalism" in those days, but their corrupt journalism is what laid the destructive and corrupt groundwork for the journalism we see today.  The mdia not only attack individuals they don't like, they defend the most indefensible characters and positions with with projection, red herring fallacies, lies of commission and lies of omission.  But all that really became out of control with the SCOTUS decision in the New York Times vs. Sullivan.  That decision gave the media a carte blanche license to to smear public officials and public figures without consequence, and naturally as time has gone by that practice has gotten much worse..... at least until Trump and others sued media outlets...... and won.  

Now, according to Kash Patel the Atlantic has smeared him and he's sued.  The Atlantic is asking a judge to kick his suit to the curb!  Why?  The suit is meritless!  At least according to them it's meritless, and they stand four square behind their report.  Really?  Okay, they certainly have the right to stand behind the report, but as to whether or not it has merit is supposed to be decided at a trial...... you know.... that's where the accused and the accusers face each other and make their case?  

That's the way it is for everyone else in America, except the media.   Make no mistake, they will argue the Sullivan defense, and in the real world if anyone other than the media was sued for defamation it would be settled or go to trial.  

• Conservative Activist’s AI-Defamation Case Against Google Can Move Forward, Judge Rules Conservative activist Robby Starbuck’s case against technology giant Google can move forward, a judge ruled on July 24, saying his accusations of artificial intelligence (AI) fabrications open “a new frontier for defamation cases.” Delaware Superior Court Judge Meghan Adams denied Google’s motion to dismiss a lawsuit that Starbuck filed in October 2025. He settled a similar case against another tech giant, Meta, last August.......

It's high time Sullivan was revisited and just like and Chevron Doctrine, it's stench needs flushed down the toilet.  Both Sullivan and Chevron were " rights" made up by SCOTUS justices allowing them to legislate from the bench.  That needs to be addressed also.

George Stephanopoulos is a Left Wing Operative and Not a Real Journalist: I'm Shocked, Shocked I Tell You!

To quote a man who – if he had really lived – would have to be considered one of the world's unique moralists, Captain Renault, played by Claude Rains in Casablanca as he’s ordered to close Rick’s American Café for political reasons:

Renault: I am shocked, shocked to find that gambling is going on in here!

Employee of Rick's: [hands Renault money] Your winnings, sir.

Renault: Oh, thank you, very much. Everybody out at once!

On May 16, 2015 Onan Coca posted an article titled, “Media Realizes that Stephanopoulos May Actually be a Liberal Activist and Not a Journalist!” She starts out saying: 

“The Washington Post’s Erik Wemple says what everyone else is thinking when it comes to George Stephanopoulos’ recent interview of Clinton Cash author Peter Schweitzer. Instead of simply being a good interview about an important book at the start of a Presidential election campaign… perhaps the interview was actually an attempt by a liberal activist and Clinton ally to put out a fire before it began raging. 

 

We’re all talking about this media stuff. But, yes, I think that when George Stephanopoulos goes on with a major figure and talks about, you know, the “Clinton Cash” book or whatever, I could sense that he was going after Peter Schweitzer. At the time, it looked like legitimate journalism. In retrospect, it looks like activism”.

And everyone's shocked?  Over the weekend a number of Fox News shows had their talking heads (for clarity sake, I actually like some of the talking heads) do some commentary on this issue. I might point out since it wasn’t corruption by a conservative the MSM pretty much ignored the issue. 

 

But there’s no liberal bias….or it’s very limited ....Right?  After all…. there’s no such thing as a conspiracy. Right? 

 

Of course there are those small minded individuals who will wonder if it’s possible there’s a bigger reason why there’s so little coverage by the left wing media. Is it possible this is a deeper story than just good old George? Is it possible they’re all guilty of this kind of stuff? Nah, that can’t be true! They’re full of liberal purity, like the Clintons, and the Kennedy’s.

There were two things that I found amazing.

 

First off, it amazes me just how many people actually watch this guy. Oh, I know the numbers on the MSM are dwindling, but he still has quite a following. I never watched him for more than a few minutes total since his very first show. Why? Because he made his bones as a Clintonista left wing operative and a spin master. It’s part and parcel of who he is. Why would anyone think he would change? He just gets paid a whole lot more from ABC for spinning the truth than he did when he was paid by the Clinton administration for spinning the truth.

Secondly, it never ceases to amaze me how many in the media, including Karl Rove, who attempted to claim Stephanopoulos had made the transition in everyone’s mind from a Democratic activist to a journalist. It reminds me of a time when conservative commentators– perhaps I should say seeming conservative commentators - were crying crocodile tears a few years ago because of the New York Times financial problems, fearing the Old Gray Hag would go out of business. 

All that hand wringing irrespective of the well known historical facts showing the NYT has been a left wing treasonous canker sore on the butt of journalism since the Roosevelt administration. One reader pointed out his operative status was only a “secret from other media types, which explains why you can't trust any of them, because at best they're only a 5 watt bulb, when a 100 watt bulb is what is needed for that type of job”.

Greg Gutfeld – one of Fox’s talking heads I like – is quoted in the article as she says:

“there is even more reason for concern for ABC. Because on the heels of the Stephanopoulos – Schweitzer interview, the Clintons used the piece to try to discredit the book and its author. They sourced each other, that’s the great thing. It’s like the Clinton campaign fact checks Schweizer’s book, and then Stephanopoulos uses that in the interview and then Clinton goes back to the Stephanopoulos interview and says,“see.” So it’s this little circle of sourcing each other. It’s like two criminals providing each other an alibi.”

But as for the rest of them - I guess they’re just “shocked, shocked” to find there’s corruption going on here, even as they attempt to find reasons to allow these people to continue in their corruption. Apparently they also need to go along to get along in order to play the game.

 

Here’s another interesting quote from Casablanca I find applicable.

Renault: Rick, there are many exit visas sold in this café, but we know that you've never sold one. That is the reason we permit you to remain open.

Rick: Oh? I thought it was because I let you win at roulette.

Renault: That is another reason.

Nothing is ever as it seems, except to remember that corruption is always part of the human equation. However, since leftism has no moral foundation we should expect higher levels of corruption in everything they do. In their case it’s not a conspiracy. It’s intrinsic to leftist character! Here's one more quote that could help define most of the media, conservative and liberal:

Renault: I have no conviction, if that's what you mean. I blow with the wind, and the prevailing wind happens to be from Vichy.

The difference between Captain Renault and the media? He was honest about his corruption! Now we have clarity!

How Antisemitism Turned CBS Against the Left

Every systemic change has a dividing line and that line arrived for CBS on September 30, 2024.

Ta-Nehisi Coates, a black supremacist author, whose books had taken off in the era of BLM, had made the same post-BLM shift as many others of his ilk, and had come out with a book, ‘The Message’, denouncing Israel and Jews, he claimed that Jewish history was “an enormous con” and suggested that he might have joined in the murdering and raping on Oct 7.

No one in the media, which went on hailing Coates as an “acclaimed author” and “public intellectual” (and recently trotted him out to attack the deceased Charlie Kirk as a racist) thought that there was anything amiss here. Coates had enjoyed immunity for previously suggesting that 9/11 first responders were less than human so hardly anyone objected to this latest racist rant.

Like most big woke authors, Ta-Nehisi Coates was published by Random House, a front for the ex-Nazi German publisher, Bertelsmann, which had more than enough juice to get him on CBS Mornings for a chummy chat about his new book denouncing Jews (and as usual, America.)

Just in time for the week commemorating Oct 7.

But something went wrong.

Oprah pal Gayle King was ready to gush over yet another racist, but Coates encountered unexpectedly challenging questions from host Tony Dokoupil. Unlike Gayle and fellow host Nate Burleson, Dokoupil was there to fill the morning show’s ‘serious journalist’ quota. And while he was not born Jewish, he had converted as an adult, and proved far more willing to stand up to Coates than the ordinary Jewish liberal news talking head would have thought to do.

“Why not detail anything of the first and second intifada. . . the cafe bombings, the bus bombings, the little kids blown to bits?” Dokoupil asked. Coates didn’t have an answer. He was doing what he had done all his life, put out propaganda that guilty white liberals swooned at.

No one had ever asked him a question before.

Dokoupil’s Jewish conversion would inappropriately come up often in the post-interview media cancel culture session in which CNN, the New York Times and the usual suspects set out to destroy him for describing Coates as an “extremist” and asking him why he had made no mention of Islamic terrorism. CBS executives issued an apology to Coates for an employee having asked him tough questions and the media echo chamber mulled Dokoupil’s punishment.

But something went wrong again.

Among the handful of voices defending Dokoupil was Shari Redstone: the non-executive chairwoman of Paramount and Viacom, the media industry company that controlled CBS. The Redstone family was Jewish, but like most Jewish Hollywood and media executives, did not let that interfere with their role in companies that demonized Israel and defended terrorists.

It is hard to say why this moment, of all the others, the 60 Minutes hit pieces, the past lies and smears by the likes of Dan Rather, Bob Simon to the more obscure murderer’s row of their contemporary counterparts, was the straw that broke the camel’s back, but everything had to start somewhere and maybe it started with a cozy morning show trying to run a softball interview with a defender of the mass murder of Jews to commemorate the Oct 7 massacre.

Maybe it started with CBS News personnel trying to lynch a journalist for asking a question.

The Free Press, a Substack publication started by Bari Weiss when she was pushed out of the New York Times for being a liberal rather than a leftist and pro-Israel rather than pro-Hamas, got hold of audio from a CBS News editorial meeting and condemned the news network for the disgraceful way it had brought on Coates and then gone after Dokoupil on Oct 7.

That was last year.

This year, Paramount bought The Free Press for $150 million and Bari Weiss is set to become the Editor-in-Chief of CBS News. That’s the latest development from Shari Redstone’s sale of her company to David Ellison (son of Oracle boss Larry Ellison) and a process during which Colbert’s failing late night show was canceled and 60 Minutes reached a settlement with Trump.

The media fumed, denouncing the Ellisons as “Trump allies” and claiming that Redstone and CBS were appeasing ‘Hitler’. They might have saved their breath. Shari Redstone, once a member of the club in good standing, much like J.K. Rowling, doesn’t seem to give a damn anymore. After the Coates interview, Redstone reportedly had dinner with Dokoupil, overrode attempts to sanction him and urged CBS News brass to hire more conservatives.

At an Axios forum, she warned that “we have to go back to a place where facts are what the news is about and opinions are not facts.” Redstone suggested that Weiss was a “voice that would bring a different perspective” and urged “you’ve got to give your audience credit for being smart enough to hear different points of view and being able to narrow down on the facts.”

And, more publicly, she joined an Israeli production company after the sale, certainly not because she needs the money, has spoken passionately about Israel, and Paramount became the only company to publicly reject a boycott of the Jewish State proposed by radical celebs like Joaquin Phoenix, Emma Stone and Mark Ruffalo.

The Ellison/Paramount deal was a complicated one (as any big industry deal tends to be) and it may be overly simplistic to view the Coates interview as a game changer, but the New York Times profile ties its beginning to conservations that began after the Oct 7 attacks.

Redstone notably sounds different than she did in 2023, when her public remarks tended to be peppered with Biden era pieties about “protecting democracy”, and instead now speaks about the importance of facts and different points of view. Dumping Colbert was no doubt a financial decision, as Redstone says, but a willingness to breezily violate the sacred shibboleths of the leftist club no doubt made it easier. The 60 Minutes payment and a deal with a Trump ally might have also been far more repugnant before the Left showed what repugnant really meant.

If cheering on the mass murder of Jews on Oct 7 was the price of remaining in the club, the Jewish woman who controlled the destiny of CBS (not to mention Paramount) decided that it wasn’t worth it. There is a lesson here, both for the major Jewish industry figures who have remained silent (with the exception of Sherry Lansing) and for the media which has grown complacent about bosses who sign the checks and don’t interfere with their radical antics.

Amazon founder Jeff Bezos tried to wrest control of the Washington Post by, in part, trying to appoint UK conservative media vets to key positions. Ellison and Redstone signing off on Bari Weiss’s role at CBS News takes a similar approach.

There comes a time when even liberals, and even liberal Jews, the greatest doormats for every radical cause the world has ever seen, have had enough. CBS found that out the hard way.

Death of the Pravda Media

At my age I've seen all the big names in journalism, and some like Jim Lehrer and Robert MacNeil were two of the good ones.  But that wasn't necessarily true of the rest, including Walter Cronkite, who was in reality a globalist, but Cronkite and the Matrix media were able to hide it back in those days.   

Here's a quote by Jim Lehrer worth reading.

People often ask me if there are guidelines in our practice of what I like to call MacNeil Lehrer journalism. Well, yes, there are, and here they are. Do nothing I cannot defend. Cover, write and present every story with the care I would want if the story were about me. Assume there is at least one other side or version to every story.

Assume the viewer is as smart and caring and as good a person as I am. Assume the same about all people on whom I report. Assume personal lives are a private matter until a legitimate turn in the story absolutely mandates otherwise. Carefully separate opinion and analysis from straight news stories and clearly label everything.

Do not use anonymous sources or blind quotes except on rare and monumental occasions. No one should ever be allowed to attack another anonymously. And, finally, I am not in the entertainment business." - Jim Lehrer

If that's supposed to be the standard for quality journalism, and I think it is, then it's clear what we've been seeing on the news and reading in the newspapers, is in point of fact, not journalism at all.  It's lies of commission, lies of omission, corruption and propaganda, all meant to deceive the public in order to promote leftism and the Democrat party. 

 

However, try as they might, neither side can fully explain the existence of left-wingers. For my part, I can far easier grasp the appeal of turnips and grits than I can the stranglehold that Marx, Lenin, Stalin, Mao, Castro, Chavez and Obama, have on leftists. I mean, how is it that anyone can look at the results of communism and socialism and not see them for the nightmares they are and always have been? After all, the evidence is in plain sight. - Burt Prelutsky

 

One well known leftist propagandist from the Pravda media outlet MSNBC, Lawrence O'Donnell. announced he's taking a week off" due to what he said was "exhaustion caused by President Donald Trump's administration."  Does that seem a little snowflakish to you?  It's actually understandable.  These leftist apologists have had to unendingly do remarkable mental gymnastics in order to make Biden, his administration, and the Democrat party look rational and sane, all the while claiming the normals who disagree with them are "weird".    But now they're dealing with a new sheriff in town — and he’s taking no prisoners.  He's striking back, and winning.

Trump sued CBS and they ended up paying $16 million to Trump for it's altered interview with Kamala Harris, in a deliberate attempt to defeat Trump in the election, and this was after "ABC News agreed to pay $16 million to the president to settle a defamation case against anchor George Stephanopoulos, who said the president was found “liable” for rape."

 

Monica Showalter posted this article, Mainstream media laments Trump's $16 million victory against CBS for its sleazy, deceptive editing, saying: 

“I deplore … the putrid state into which our newspapers have passed and the malignity, the vulgarity and the mendacious spirit of those who write for them… These ordures are rapidly depraving the public taste and lessening its relish for sound food. As vehicles of information and a curb on our functionaries, they have rendered themselves useless by forfeiting all title to belief… This has, in a great degree, been produced by the violence and malignity of party spirit.” - Thomas Jefferson described the abuses of a free press in 1814 in a letter to his friend Walter Jones

Nothing has changed, nor it will ever change regarding the lack of integrity in the legacy media! It has been so from their founding, and will continue to be so until the end of time.  But right now, today, because of modern communications, they have more easily, and more thoroughly, corrupted the nation's perception of reality with the stench of their lack of morality, and stunning level of hypocritical ignorance. 

Worse yet, they work diligently to prevent anyone from exposing their perfidy!  As an example, YouTube suspended  One America News Network channel for what they're calling misinformation violations for COVID-19 policy.  That's a convenient way of saying anything that disagrees with the leftist agenda, AKA, free speech, is misinformation and must be censored.    Yet they have little trouble promoting outright lies. Which bothers them not the least because those lies promote false leftist narratives. What's the difference between misinformation and disinformation? Intent! But they are none the less two sides of the same coin.   

I've seen them called sewer trout, but that's an insult to trout and sewers, since both serve a useful purpose

With the alternative media,  watching everything the left and their media lackey's are saying, are confronting them by exposing their half truths and lies, which has resulted in they're viewership being washed down the drain.  Now that their mental gymnastics no longer works, they're left confused, frustrated, and suffering from some serious mental fatigue.  Other than denial, the only recourse for recovery available to them is to start telling the truth, and that's an arrow into their hearts.  Why?  Because then they would have to become conservatives.   

 

Just like Dan Rather, they'll go down the tubes screaming denial, as Dan Rather, the "fake but accurate" talking head used to intone, "Questions remain".  As for the Rather/Mapes fake documents scandal, here's what I originally published in 2012: We Need to Get This: The Media Lies....Constantly!  I posted this interview with Mary Mapes saying: 

"Ross asked Mapes , "if she believed the story was true. She stated “The story? Absolutely.” the interviewer found it incredible that she found “this story to be up to your standards”. (Editor's Note: This is an important point. RK ) Mapes stated "I’m perfectly willing to believe those documents are forgeries if there’s proof that I haven’t seen."' 

Does this take you aback? It should. Ross asked: “But isn’t it the other way around? Don’t you have to prove they’re authentic?" Mapes responded by saying that “they haven’t been proven false.”  Ross asked what most of us would consider obvious: “Have they proved to be authentic though? Isn’t that really what journalists do?” Now the quote of the year…….Mapes said; "No, I don’t think that’s the standard." Which is the real kicker.  Why?  Because what she was demanding is called proving a negative, and that can't be done.  You can only prove what is, not what isn't.  

In short, the narrative is far more important than the facts. Just like they say in Hollywood as they take great liberties with their "history" based movies:

 “If it didn’t happen that way, then that's the way it should have happened!”

But we know that Hollywood is a fiction factory.  Entertainment is their job, and fiction is part of that story telling job!   But we expect the news to be non-fiction. After all, isn't truth supposed to be "their" job?"   If truth isn't their job, then propaganda and lies must be their job, and we're now finding USAID has been funding those lies.  

Nothing has changed, except now they're under a microscope, and Dan Rather played a huge role in making that transition happen.  It's taken time, but that's Ole Dan's actual legacy, lies and corruption. 

The Pravda media promotes a new Holocaust.  When Hamas supporters went on a rampage in Switzerland, the Pravda media was taking a nap that day.  They cry over a pedophile losing citizenship.  They claimed there was no Iranian nuclear program, but in order to discredit Trump, now there is.

Rigging polls to promote their latest meme is now and has always been standard operating procedure for these Marxist myrmidons claiming Trump's BBB is unpopular.  They ignored the obvious health issues of Joe Biden, and Hillary Clinton, but a bruise on Trump's right hand draws gasps of horror in hopes of launching a crusade against him.    

They irrationally turn terrorists into heroes and prosecutors into monsters, and as for the Texas flood?  DHS says the mainstream media deliberately lied in its coverage of that catastrophe.

But the information world is changing, the alternative media is ascendant, and society is "awakened" to their corruption, and people are taking action.   A notorious leftist censorship organization known as Media Matters is in deep trouble after years of its "scorched earth campaign against the conservative media", making blatantly false and injurious claims to destroy their advertising revenue.   Now, after a series of lawsuits they're on the verge of total collapse. 

Its been reported that even the Biden administration couldn’t believe, how dumb and gullible the Pravda media was, which is a bit unfair.  They "believed" because they wanted to believe. It was a unfathomable desire to believe the lies Biden, Obama, Hillary, Kamala, and all the rest were telling because those lies are who they are and what they believe is truth, no matter how much reality may impugn those beliefs. So, who is more stupid, the fools who are "believers" or the fools who know they're lying and promoting corruption that's destructive to society and the nation?   

And that's just the tip of the iceberg.  The Pravda media is corrupt to the core, and the rot is killing them.  What we're seeing is the death of the legacy media, and it's more than justified.

Over 60 years ago I worked in the advertising department of a major metropolitan newspaper and as the years went by it appeared to me the United Press International, Associated Press and Reuters seemed to control all of what appears in the newspaper, and for the most part, TV news, since it was nothing more than reporting in a shortened form what the print media was already saying.  And since even then I was more well read than most I felt they were deliberately leaving much of what was going on in the world out of the news. My friends and associates laughed at me, snickering and shaking their heads with a bit of arrogant scorn.

The natural function of the human mind is to find patterns.  Life is all about patterns,  and seeing those patterns.  A quality that's sorely lacking in the world.  Unfortunately, those who see them early and quickly aren't necessarily appreciated. I was right and it only took over 50 or so years for the rest of the world to catch up, but now it's generally accepted the traditional news media is nothing more than a propaganda arm of the left.

Like others I’ve not watched any electronic news for years, and that includes going back to O’Reilly on Fox. I stopped watching Fox when he claimed he saw Obama’s birth certificate and that all was fine, nothing to see there.  I always thought he was a phony, and that confirmed it.

But I stopped watching 60 Minutes probably over 30 years ago, and here’s why. Mike Wallace wanted to interview the Moonies, and they said only if the entire interview was broadcast. Well, that can’t be done so they came to an agreement. Not only would 60 Minutes film the interview, so too would the Moonies.

Mike Wallace was usually totally confident in interviews, totally in control, but he was nervous and hesitant all during that interview. That’s when I realized they edited these interviews to tell the story they wanted told, not the story that existed, but since the Moonies filmed the complete interview, the usual editing was impossible.

And that was and still is true with all of these “story” tellers. Independent journalism? Sure, independent from the restrictions of truth and justice, with the Sullivan ruling giving them carte blanch to lie. I've kept track of just how rotten the media really is storing articles as source pieces, and I have a lot of them, and what appears below is just the tip of the iceberg.  

But their time is up, and it’s a Good Morning in America. 

Media Spin and Corruption

 If you've ever seen anything on PBS you've bound to have seen how they've been supported by the Annenberg Foundation, which presents itself publicly as a big supporter of public education.  Well, PBS and the Annenberg Foundation are birds of a feather.  The Annenberg Foundation was created by Walter Herbert Annenberg, highly successful and highly lauded for his integrity.  An "American businessman, investor, philanthropist, and diplomat. Annenberg owned and operated Triangle Publications", and yet he wasn't above using the media to destroy anyone who opposed him, and doing it in the same corrupt manner we see the corrupt media doing right now!

In 1966, Annenberg used the Inquirer to cast doubt on the candidacy of Democrat Milton Shapp for governor of Pennsylvania. Shapp was highly critical of the proposed merger of the Pennsylvania Railroad with the New York Central Railroad and was pushing the US Interstate Commerce Commission to prevent it from occurring. Annenberg, who was the biggest individual stockholder of the Pennsylvania Railroad, wanted to see the merger succeed (which it did) and he was frustrated with Shapp's opposition.^[15] During a press conference, an Inquirer reporter asked Shapp if he had ever been a patient in a mental hospital. Never having been in one, Shapp simply said "no." The next day, a five-column front page Inquirer headline read, "Shapp Denies Mental Institution Stay". Shapp and others have attributed his loss of the election to Annenberg's newspaper.

Awarded for Corruption

The Pulitzer Prize people have always been a disgrace going back to Walter Duranty who wrote how Stalin wasn’t starving Soviet citizens.  Except for those estimated 10 million men, women and children in the Stalin-engineered silent massacre between 1932-1933, also known as the Holodomor.  Everyone in the journalism business knew he was a world class liar, and the NYT knew it too. Worse yet, years later and all his lies were exposed, the Pulitzer committee refused to revoke it, and the NYT refused to return it. Who wants honors from people such as these.  What they deserve is the Walter Duranty Award.  A prize for journalistic mendacity.

L.A. Riots, Part IV

The corruption of the Pravda media has been thoroughly exposed, and now they're swirling down the drain, and the "alternative" media is ascendant, but no matter how they're destroying themselves, they continue to lie, misdirect, twist and subvert the truth on every subject in which they cover, including the L.A. Riots and/or protests and demonstrations all over the country.

What we're now seeing is the Stalinization of the Pravda media!   Actually we're seeing the exposure of their Stalinization that goes back to the days of Walter Duranty who covered over Stalin's starvation of tens of millions of people, and ended up with the Pulitzer Prize, which the NYT refuses to return, and the Pulitzer committee refuses to revoke.  And nothing has changed. 

They continue to promote the idea these illegals are innocent of any crimes. Well, if they're here illegally they're criminals, but the number of violent criminal illegals they're arresting is testimony to their perfidious reporting! So, who ya gonna believe, the media, or your lying eyes.  

As for spontaneous, well that's provably false.   One reporter went there posting the usual leftist claptrap and then realized..... hey, wait, this isn't spontaneous (they used the word organic) it's staged and organized with protective gear and food being provided to these rioters, and I'm betting many are paid demonstrators.

Definition leads to clarity, and a failure to define things properly leads to clarity also, such as their claims of "mostly peaceful protests."

The left has been expert at redefining words to support their lies of commission, lies of omission, misdirection, projection, and logical fallacies. An MSNBC reporter  compared ICE agents "slave catchers." CNN’s Dana Bash says Trump is the real arsonist in L.A. and they're horrified Trump called them insurrectionists.  A word they're still throwing around regarding the January 6th protests, where no buildings were burned, no police were attacked, no cars were set on fire, and the only person murdered was an unarmed small woman by a D.C. cop, which is a case the DOJ needs to reopen. 

CNN, MSNBC, ABC, etc, are viper's nests of intellectual corruption, calling all this violence lawful protests.....such as these these "peaceful protests".   One anchor claims all these burning cars was just people having fun and it's the fault of the police for turning it into a confrontation.  Kinda like looting.  Looters think that's a lot of fun also.  How deranged can these nitwits be?  There's no end as one MSNBC reporter "went on an unhinged rant about illegal aliens, claiming they’re the fabric of the community while insinuating that the deployment of federal resources into the city to quell the unrest and deport people who shouldn’t be here is racially motivated."  

Not only are they a "fabric of the community", according to The View’s Ana Navarro, milk prices are going to skyrocket because there'll be no illegals to milk the cows.   Hello Ana, you're unbridled ignorance is showing....again!  People don't really milk cows.  Machines milk them, and milk each cow in four minutes.    

• 'The View' Proves ABC News Has No Standards -ABC has no standards, none. Not for decency, not for intelligence, not for liability or anything close to common sense. Whoopi Goldberg, the "lead" host, can barely intro a segment off the teleprompter and she’s the "wisdom" on the show. 

 As for the Democrats, they're in complete harmony with these "mostly peaceful" rioters, and not the sane taxpayers who are not out there burning, looting, rioting, and attacking the police.... and who are leaving California in droves.   I doubt this journalist who was attacked for documenting their violence thinks this is just "mostly peaceful" fun.
