IQ is what it is! Accept it and move on!

By Rich Kozlovich

The New York Times recently ran an article on January 1, 2019 entitled, James Watson Won’t Stop Talking About Race, saying:
The Nobel-winning biologist has drawn global criticism with unfounded pronouncements on genetics, race and intelligence. He still thinks he’s right, a new documentary finds.
Unfounded pronouncements?  Really? It amazes me that accepting genetics for virtually everything else, including athletic ability, disease potentials, skin color and physical characteristics is acceptable, yet we're expected to believe it's racist to say intelligence is inheritable.

My friend John J. Ray has written extensively on this subject.  In his post, Race, genes and IQ: Some observations, he presents a more far ranging discussion than did the limited and deliberate effort at misrepresentation in the NYT article.

As an example, he discusses Jewish IQ.  Jews have often been thought of as the smartest people on the planet.  Is that true?  It turns out there's a major difference between the IQ of European Jews and Jews from Africa and Arab lands, all of which there's been centuries of interbreeding.  He notes in Israel the average IQ of European Jews is 100, but Jews from Arab lands is quite low at 88.

Regarding the large gap between blacks and whites in America he says:
The background of course is that researchers always find a huge gap (of about 15 IQ points) between the average IQ of American blacks and the average IQ of American whites. And American Leftists almost always attribute this to the poor upbringing that black children receive (and since that is not very complimentary to black mothers they then blame black "culture" -- and that, of course, is the fault of whites!).
So the obvious experiment to test the Leftist theory is to have black children adopted into white families and see what happens. Will they grow up with IQs at the same average level as whites? If upbringing is the key, they should. Some well-intentioned whites actually did just such an adoption program on a fairly large scale in Minnesota in the 1970s. The result years later? There was still that same old black/white gap in IQ when the children concerned had grown up. The implication is, as so many other studies suggest, that it is the African gene pool that is responsible for the lower black IQs.
There is an adoption study that focuses on income summarized here which gives similar results to studies of IQ.
The NYT article went on to say:
In 2007, Dr. Watson, who shared a 1962 Nobel Prize for describing the double-helix structure of DNA, told a British journalist that he was “inherently gloomy about the prospect of Africa” because “all our social policies are based on the fact that their intelligence is the same as ours, whereas all the testing says, not really.”
Moreover, he added, although he wished everyone were equal, “people who have to deal with black employees find this not true.”
Dr. Watson’s comments reverberated around the world, and he was forced to retire from his job as chancellor of the Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory on Long Island...........His speaking invitations evaporated. In 2014, he became the first living Nobelist to sell his medal, citing a depleted income from having been designated a “nonperson.’’
Despite environmental factors playing a role in IQ, the idea that genetics is the primary component of IQ is clearly factual. So why is this a bone of contention? Because black culture in America is disastrous, and anything that explains that failure other than racism is totally unacceptable to the left. But a high IQ isn’t necessary to have a successful life.  Persistence and determination are however!
“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not: nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not: the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent.” – Calvin Coolidge
Blacks in America have not succeeded as Orientals in America, or Italians and Jews for that matter. And for the same reasons.

If you want a successful life you have to get a job, go to work every day, go in on time, leave on time, do the job you’re hired to do, don’t steal from your employer, don’t give your boss six thousand pounds of attitude, marry the person you’re making babies with, pay your bills, treat people with respect, don’t do crime and violence, don’t do drugs, raise your children with that attitude, make sure they go to school and do as best as they can - then you will have lived a successful life.

That’s not happening in Black America today, and IQ hasn’t a thing to do with a 70% plus illegitimacy rate in black America. In short, family values are the difference between success in life and failure. Among Orientals, Jews, Italians and all the other ethnic groups in America who’ve been successful family values is the common thread.

In Cleveland at the beginning of the 20th century you almost couldn’t get a job in a factory if you were a Jew or an Italian, a problem not exclusive to Cleveland at that time. Yet both of those two ethnic groups have been tremendously successful. Why? Family values! They sent their kids to school, worked whatever jobs they could find, and started their own businesses. Push carts if necessary. No job was too low if it meant they could take care of their family. And they all helped each other. Family came first.

The number one problem for blacks in America is other blacks. Not whites, not discrimination, not past history, it’s black attitudes and liberal solutions that excuse a lack personal responsibility.

When black kids abuse other black kids who are doing well in school as “acting white” you have to ask: Where did they get that from? Their parents? Their culture? Those who profess to be black leaders? That’s the problem, not IQ.   IQ is what it is, accept it and move on.

The Biggest Democrat Expert on Russian Trolls was a Russian Troll

Tuesday, January 01, 2019 Posted by Daniel Greenfield  @ Sultan Knish Blog
When the Democrats and the media wanted to prove that Russian trolls were everywhere, and supporting Republicans, they turned to Jonathon Morgan and Renee DiResta.

Morgan and DiResta had originally been part of Obama’s futile effort to fight ISIS on social media, before discovering a much more lucrative field. ISIS was losing on the battlefield and the Democrats were losing elections. The Hillary campaign had hatched a conspiracy theory blaming its loss on Russian trolls. And Morgan and DiResta soon became the experts providing the data linking Republicans to Russian trolls.

Every time there was a story on Russian election interference, Morgan would show up on CNN or NBC. And his message was the same, the Russian bots were everywhere and they were a major threat.

Morgan and DiResta soon had a company name, New Knowledge, and were brought on board by the Senate Intelligence Committee to produce a report on Russian influence operations in the 2016 election. Despite the fact that a second report found that most of the Russian trolling efforts had been directed at African-Americans, the New Knowledge report claimed that this was a Russian conspiracy to aid Trump.

The New York Times, which frequently promoted and published New Knowledge conspiracy theories, all but credited DiResta for having exposed the whole Russian-Republican troll conspiracy, and wrote that, “Senate and House staff members, who knew of DiResta's expertise through her public reports and her previous work advising the Obama administration on disinformation campaigns, had reached out to her and others to help them prepare for the hearings.” They seemingly included Senator Warner’s office.

And it wasn’t just the 2016 election. Morgan, who made no secret of his loathing for conservatives, claimed that the Russian bots were everything and aiding Republicans.

When the #ReleasetheMemo hashtag went viral, Morgan, now running his own company, New Knowledge, was there suggesting it might be Russian bots. The debates about gun control after the Parkland school massacre? More Russian bots. The migrant caravan? Obviously a fake news conspiracy.

"That whole news cycle was dominated by this type of conspiratorial fear-mongering," Morgan sniffed, even though his current career is based around conspiratorial lefty fear-mongering.

And the midterm elections?

"Russians Meddling in the Midterms? Here’s the Data," Morgan and Ryan Fox, a New Knowledge employee, warned. “Our company is currently detecting more overall activity in real time from continuing Russian online influence operations targeting the midterm elections than has been disclosed by social media platforms or detected by researchers during the same period before the election in 2016.”

The Russians were even going all the way into Alabama. “Russian trolls tracked by #Hamilton68 are taking an interest in the AL Senate race. What a surprise,” Morgan tweeted.

It wouldn’t have been much of a surprise to him because the “Russian trolls” supporting Roy Moore in Alabama were actually his trolls.

A New York Times story was forced to reveal that Morgan had participated in what a report described as, “an elaborate ‘false flag’ operation that planted the idea that the Moore campaign was amplified on social media by a Russian botnet” thereby “radicalizing Democrats with a Russian bot scandal”

The goal was to “enrage and energize Democrats” and “depress turnout” among Republicans.

The bots used Cyrillic letters and pictures of celebrities. Just in case anyone still didn’t get the message, they included, “I love Russia” in their profiles. When the Moore campaign accused the Democrats of being behind the dirty trick, the Jones campaign doubled down on the Russia smear, declaring, "Maybe Moore should check with Vladimir Putin, who shares his views on depriving people of their civil rights."

But Moore had been telling the truth. It had been a Democrat operation. The media’s greatest expert on Russian trolling had not only falsely claimed that Russian trolls were backing Moore, he was involved.

Morgan, the New York Times and the Washington Post attempted to spin this as an experiment, but influencing an actual election is not an experiment. When Morgan’s people faked Russian bot support for a Republican candidate, and Morgan then helped spread the allegations, that’s not an experiment, it’s a dirty trick. And it raises serious questions about the Democrat’s entire Russian troll narrative.

How can we know that an Alabama special election was the only time that Democrats tried to frame Republicans with false flag operations meant to portray them as traitors and tools of foreign interests?

The Alabama project may have been an experiment, but not an abstract academic one. Its funding allegedly came from LinkedIn billionaire Reid Hoffman who has poured millions of dollars into ventures to harness “Silicon Valley” smarts to help Democrats win. Hoffman had previously been caught backing another slimy Facebook effort targeting conservatives and Trump supporters.

An internet disinformation campaign headed by a disinformation expert would be very “Silicon Valley”.

Hoffman had teamed up with Mark Pincus, the co-founder of Zynga, a slimy Facebook firm whose unofficial motto was allegedly, “Do Evil”, on WTF, to explore new strategies. New Knowledge also had backing from French-Iranian billionaire Pierre Omidyar who had made his fortune with eBay. Silicon Valley lefties have been pouring money into new tech efforts for the Left.

It’s worth asking whether some of the dot com billionaires who backed Morgan, New Knowledge or similar efforts to push regulation of Facebook had a plan for profiting from its fall.

The Alabama project’s success could have been used to convince Hoffman and other lefty dot com donors to back similar false flag campaigns targeting Republicans around the country.

Alabama likely was an experiment in tactics. Morgan’s exposure won’t make it go away.

Hillary’s Russian conspiracy theory has evolved into a Cloward-Piven strategy aimed at free speech on the internet in which disinformation is used to attribute conservative speech to a Russian conspiracy requiring immediate regulation of Facebook and other social media companies to avert the crisis.

And if the Russians won’t cooperate, the Russian bots will be lefty hipsters funded by Silicon Valley.

Jonathon Morgan had tweeted, “Facebook and the other social media companies should not be trusted to police themselves. The self-serving attempts to undermine the credibility of those holding these companies accountable are reprehensible.”

New Knowledge's Director of Research, Renee DiResta, had written an editorial titled, “Why Facebook and Twitter Can’t Be Trusted to Police Themselves”.

After years of demanding that regulators force Facebook to crack down on Russian fake news trolls, Morgan finally got what he wanted when Facebook suspended his account over Russian trolling.

Russian election interference was a crisis that the Democrats had manufactured and that their media echo chamber had amplified. Morgan is accused of manufacturing it in the most explicit way possible.

But we can’t really know to what extent Morgan’s experiment has already been replicated. What we know about Russian election interference has largely come from experts like Morgan and New Knowledge. The internet is a shadowy realm and it’s not hard for actors to impersonate one another.

The Russians may have started out by impersonating Americans, only to have Americans impersonate Russians. When public trust in institutions fails, conspiracy theories and conspirators thrive. Morgan’s dirty tricks arose from the same paranoid atmosphere of conspiracy theories weaponized into investigations, opposition research transformed into armed raids, research being secretly planted into the DOJ, and national emergencies being declared over Facebook memes, in which he thrived.

The Russian conspiracy theory had given Democrat outrage form, substance and an agenda. Having invented the conspiracy theory, they also had to invent the crimes that made it real.

To paraphrase Pogo, the Democrats had finally found the Russian troll enemy and he is us.

Democrats' flip-flop on border security has everything to do with 2020 (and nothing to do with immigration)

By Lauren DeBellis Appell | Fox News

The Oscar for the biggest bluff of 2018 goes to Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi for almost having us convinced they’re opposed to immigration reform from high atop the fabricated moral high ground they’ve staked out.  In reality, they weren’t always opposed to illegal immigrants being forced to follow the law and come here through legal channels.

How do we know this? They told us...........To Read More.....

Conservative Radio Host Michael Savage Hit With Death Threats, Heads to Secret Location

This is the left – violent, totalitarian thugs who want to kill people for the ‘crime’ of having a different political opinion — they want us dead.  All hands are on deck and city, state and federal agencies are investigating after a death threat was sent via email to a restaurant Michael Savage frequently dines in.  The email sent to the restaurant was written in caps, calling Michael Savage a “crypto Jew” and “white supremacist piece of shit.”...............The San Francisco-based radio host has every reason to take this threat seriously; he was physically attacked at a restaurant not too long ago...........To Read More....

Former NY Times editor rips Trump coverage as biased

Host of 'Mediabuzz' Howard Kurtz says the New York Times’s credibility has been hurt.
A former executive editor of the New York Times says the paper’s news pages, the home of its straight-news coverage, have become “unmistakably anti-Trump.”

Jill Abramson, the veteran journalist who led the newspaper from 2011 to 2014, says the Times has a financial incentive to bash the president and that the imbalance is helping to erode its credibility.

In a soon-to-be published book, “Merchants of Truth,” that casts a skeptical eye on the news business, Abramson defends the Times in some ways but offers some harsh words for her successor, Dean Baquet. And Abramson, who was the paper’s only female executive editor until her firing, invoked Steve Bannon’s slam that in the Trump era the mainstream media have become the “opposition party.”............To Read More....

Nature Conservancy deal shows threat of conservation fund

By | January 1st, 2019 | 1 Comment

By flipping 300 acres of private land in Montana to the Interior Department’s Bureau of Land Management (BLM), the Nature Conservancy (TNC) has solidified its reputation as “the feds’ real estate agent.” In this case, Arlington, Va.-based TNC teamed up with the head of a high-flying California tech company to seal the deal.

The $1.025 million transaction also sheds light on the threat to traditional rural Western communities posed by one of Capitol Hill’s most insidious slush funds, the Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF). Created in 1964, the LWCF was originally supposed to help states develop planning for recreation areas and related facilities. But over the decades the LWCF has morphed into a piggy-bank in which deep-pocketed environmental groups collaborate with wealthy, and often, out-of-state landowners flip land to the federal government......To Read More.....

CEI Calls for Acting Attorney General to Recognize that Commission on Civil Rights Lacks Legal Authority to Operate

December 13, 2018

The Competitive Enterprise Institute (CEI) today formally requested the acting Attorney General to find that the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights (USCCR) has no legal authority from Congress to carry on its activities. In a letter filed with the acting AG, CEI pointed out that the Commission’s authorization from Congress had expired more than 22 years ago, in October 1996. Since that time, Congress has never reauthorized the Commission. While Congress has continued to appropriate funding for the Commission, Supreme Court precedent makes it clear that appropriation bills do not change the underlying substantive law that created the agency without a clear statement to the contrary.

CEI also called on the acting AG to notify the U.S. Treasury that its disbursement of funding to the Commission was illegal............To Read More....

CEI Sues the District of Columbia for Failing to Produce Records Under Freedom of Information Act

December 19, 2018

The Competitive Enterprise Institute (CEI) today sued the District of Columbia (DC) and the DC Office of the Attorney General (OAG) in DC Superior Court for ignoring seven CEI requests under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA).  These requests, dating back to October 2016, seek information relating to that OAG’s participation in a 2016 scheme to investigate opponents of the “climate” policy agenda, and its 2018 acceptance of a privately funded “Special Assistant Attorney General” for climate change, underwritten by billionaire climate activist Michael Bloomberg.

DC’s OAG acknowledged, then ignored each and every of the seven requests despite numerous reminders from CEI — each of which OAG also acknowledged, only to then disregard in blatant violation of DC’s FOIA law. That law requires responses within 15 business days. In extraordinary circumstances, OAG can take an extension of ten days. OAG decided the better part of valor was to delay for up to two years, and even then force CEI to sue to bring these records into the light of day for public inspection............To Read More.....

The 2019 Unconstitutionality Index: 12 Federal Agency Rules for Every Law Congress Passes

Clyde Wayne Crews December 31, 2018

Even in an administration attempting to cut regulation, the number of rules from hundreds of federal agencies (nobody really knows exactly how many) will vastly outstrip the number of laws that Congress passes. That represents the triumph of the Administrative State over the Constitution, and this it even holds under President Trump.

The year 2018 and the 115th Congress have drawn to a close, so let’s look at Trump’s second calendar year.

The 116th Congress gets underway The 116th Congress gets underway January 3, 2019, in the wake of the Trump administration’s touting notable regulatory rollback achievements in a 2018 Regulatory Reform Status Report on the adminstration’s “one-in, two-out” goals for regulation. It’s available on the Unified Agenda web page, although it must be said that it becomes harder over time, for a president acting alone, to streamline anything. ..............As 2018 wound down, the Federal Register ended at 68,082 pages. Within those pages, agencies issued a total of 3,367 rules..........To Read More....

Nikki Haley Welcomes Formal US Departure from UNESCO ‘Cesspool’

By Patrick Goodenough | January 2, 2019

On the day after her tenure as ambassador to the U.N. ended, Nikki Haley on Tuesday welcomed the official U.S. withdrawal from UNESCO, describing the U.N. cultural agency as a corrupt and biased “cesspool.” “UNESCO is among the most corrupt and politically biased U.N. agencies,” tweeted the former ambassador. “Today the U.S. withdrawal from this cesspool became official.”

Also weighing in was another outgoing Republican, Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-Fla.), who recalled her efforts in the House to defund UNESCO.  “I fought every year to defund UNESCO in our Congressional budget and we were successful most of the time but these crooks managed to get many Congressional backers because they name pretty places as historical sites as they slam Israel every day,” she tweeted...........To Read More.....

The Worst Enemy of Black People

Walter E. Williams Jan 02, 2019

Malcolm X was a Muslim minister and human rights activist. Born in 1925, he met his death at the hands of an assassin in 1965. Malcolm X was a courageous advocate for black civil rights, but unlike Martin Luther King, he was not that forgiving of whites for their crimes against black Americans. He did not eschew violence as a tool to achieve civil and human rights. His black and white detractors accused him of preaching racism and violence. Despite the controversy, he has been called one of the greatest and most influential black Americans. ..............

Malcolm X said: "The worst enemy that the Negro have is this white man that runs around here drooling at the mouth professing to love Negros and calling himself a liberal, and it is following these white liberals that has perpetuated problems that Negros have. If the Negro wasn't taken, tricked or deceived by the white liberal, then Negros would get together and solve our own problems. I only cite these things to show you that in America, the history of the white liberal has been nothing but a series of trickery designed to make Negros think that the white liberal was going to solve our problems. Our problems will never be solved by the white man.".............

Malcolm X was absolutely right about our finding solutions to our own problems. The most devastating problems that black people face today have absolutely nothing to do with our history of slavery and discrimination. Chief among them is the breakdown of the black family, wherein 75 percent of blacks are born to single, often young, mothers. In some cities and neighborhoods, the percentage of out-of-wedlock births is over 80. Actually, "breakdown" is the wrong term; the black family doesn't form in the first place. This is entirely new among blacks.............To Read More....

Climate Change -- Who Stands to Gain?

January 2, 2019 By Alexander G. Markovsky

As the ancient Romans asked: cui prodest? “Who stands to gain?”

The global cooling, warming, or climate change movement, whatever it is called nowadays, was not born as the result of immaculate conception. It was conceived in the early 1960s in Paris, France, as a sinister plot to contain American expansionism, as the Europeans called it at the time.

Undamaged by the war, America was the dominant economic and political power, producing more than 50 percent of the world’s output. France, on the other hand, defeated and humiliated in the Second World War, was in ruins. General Charles de Gaulle, then president of France, was obsessed with Napoleon’s greatness and the messianic vision of returning France to the status of great power.

So, when one of de Gaulle’s ministers came up with an idea that the more a country produces, the more it contributes to the world’s pollution, de Gaulle seized the opening. That was de Gaulle’s eureka moment -- France would compensate for its humiliation and indignities by asserting an important role in the international affairs. In 1968, France formed the French Federation of Nature Protection Societies (FFSPN) and assumed the role of the world leader of the environmental movement................The Soviets enthusiastically embraced the idea. They shared de Gaulle’s concern, but for different reasons. The Kremlin saw the United States as a formidable opponent in its quest to spread communism to Western Europe and other parts of the world and was eager to support anything that would undermine the United States economically and politically.............

Although from de Gaulle to Macron the political and economic landscape has changed, the strategy remains assertively consistent.........To Read More....

Those poor NFL wage slaves

Lebron James says NFL owners are “old white men” with a slave mentality. I think Lebron James is letting slip a very large craving for attention. Nobody forces anybody to play in the NFL. NFL players are well aware of the physical ramifications of pro football – the high possibility of brain damage and crippling injury.

They are also aware of the financial ramifications, and have not been slow to cash in. They enrich high powered lawyers who find ways to make them ever-more money. Taking advantage of still other ramifications, they father kids all across the fruited plain.

No slave ever dreamed of such a life..........Read more

The Truth About Democratic Morality

Democrat Nancy Pelosi said Trump's border wall is immoral and too expensive. Hearing Pelosi lecture Trump and the American people about morality is beyond repulsive. elosi, her fellow Democrats and fake news media seek to prevent our side from using the word “morality” in the political arena.

Any Republican and conservative who dares bring up the morality of an issue is immediately branded a religious nut, trying to force their wacko outdated values onto the public. Pelosi and her minions are flooding the airwaves with their absurd perverted narrative that building a wall (to protect Americans) is immoral. Meanwhile, these wicked Democrats who refuse to secure our borders live in highly secured and gated communities. Using their logic, shouldn't stopping people from invading their personal properties make Democrats immoral?............ Read more

Mark Felt and the 'Collusion' Conspiracy

January 2, 2019 By J.R. Dunn

Mark Felt is a unique figure in American history, an FBI official who actually did bring down a president. The president was Richard M. Nixon, the occasion the legendary Watergate scandal.....As legend has it, Nixon was about to tear the Constitution into shreds when a pair of WaPo reporters, Carl Bernstein and Bob Woodward, rode into town on white steeds and with the help of info from a shadowy gnome known only as “Deep Throat” ............For decades afterward, speculation was rife concerning the actual identity of Deep Throat.........It wasn’t until 2005 that Felt’s role was at last revealed.........It seems that his family, visions of lucrative book and film deals dancing in their heads,.............. The big book deal failed to materialize.............Rather than a high moral crusade led by the country’s liberal journalistic elite, an effort that would redeem liberalism after a decade of corruption and incompetence, the scandal was and irrevocably transformed into a squalid campaign by a disgruntled employee............. Mark Felt.......was perfectly self-aware...........

But the anti-Trump crowd didn’t see it that way. No – they clearly saw that Felt was left standing when the music stopped. No honors, no bestsellers, no Oscar-winning flicks. Felt remained the odd man out while others collected the rewards.

That wasn’t going to happen this time. The collusion crowd wanted their share of glory. They wanted the NYT Bestseller List. They wanted the cash. They wanted to hobnob with Hillary and Barack. They wanted to appear on Oprah. They wanted prominent mention in the history textbooks. They wanted to be patted on the head...............To Read More

Our Exhausted American Mediocracy

By Victor Davis Hanson| December 30th, 2018

The unlikely 2016 election of Donald Trump—the first president without either prior political or military office—was a repudiation of the American “aristocracy.” By “rule of the best” I mean the ancien régime was no longer understood to suggest wealth and birth (alone), but instead envisioned itself as a supposed national meritocracy of those with proper degrees, and long service in the top hierarchies of government, media, blue-chip law firms, Wall Street, high tech, and academia.

The 2016 election and refutation of the ruling class did not signal that those without such educations and qualifications were de facto better suited to direct the country. Instead, the lesson was that the past record of governance and the current stature of our assumed best and brightest certainly did not justify their reputations or authority, much less their outsized self-regard. In short, instead of being a meritocracy, they amount to a mediocracy, neither great nor awful, but mostly mediocre.

Remember the “new normal”? Our economic czars had simply decided anemic economic growth was the best Americans could expect and that 3 percent annualized GDP growth was out of the realm of possibility. Big government incompetence combined with Wall Street buccaneerism had almost melted down the economy in 2008. Recent presidents had doubled the debt—twice.

Few could explain how recent agreements such as the Paris Climate Accord or Iran deal could ever have achieved their stated aims, much less were in America’s interest. War planners had not translated interventions in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Libya into strategic advantage—much less lasting victory—and never offered reasons to be in such places that appealed to half the country...........To Read More....

Why was a Muslim doctor who vowed to poison Jewish patients working at the famed Cleveland Clinic?

By Monica Showalter January 1, 2019

Is there any profession that merits the esteem that doctors have? I don't think so. What doctors do not only requires significant brains, but requires professionalism, because patient trust is so critical.

Without that trust, how would a doctor be able to get a patient to take his or her clothes off, bend over for an exam, or accept a medical treatment with bad side effects? Trust is what makes the whole profession work.

This is why this story out of Cleveland is so chilling.
Medical resident at Cleveland Clinic Lara Kollab, who published antisemitic statements on Twitter regarding her Jewish patients at the hospital, was dismissed from the hospital, the Cleveland Clinic reported on Monday. Both Canary Mission and StopAntisemitism.org called attention to Kollab's tweet from 2012, in which she wrote "ill purposely give all the yahood the wrong meds..."
...................What was she doing working at the Cleveland Clinic?.........Did no one check her ethics? She has a long history of vile anti-Semitic tweets, loaded with homicidal ravings and musings, which are there for all to see on Twitter

This wasn't someone who just whispered her anti-Semitism, she broadcast it. This person shouldn't just be fired; she should be de-licensed, and maybe jailed for such vile threats.............To Read More....

The Absurdity of an Open Border

January 1, 2019 By Brian C. Joondeph

Democrats heatedly deny being in favor of open borders, but their actions and even their own words say otherwise. Much the same could be said about many Republicans. Both parties want an unrestricted flood of immigrants to America, but for different reasons.   Democrats want a permanent underclass that reliably votes Democrat. Republicans want cheap labor to keep their Chamber of Commerce donors happy. Neither party acknowledges any negative consequences of the current open borders policy, allowing far more than voters and workers to enter our country.

Ignored are the contagious diseases, still uncommon in America, being brought across the borders. Or the criminals we read about daily in the news, raping and killing Americans. Not to mention potential terrorists..........How does this play out? What if there weren’t a President Trump promising to build a wall? Instead, suppose we had a president named Jeb or Marco, happy to grant amnesty to the 10 to 20 million illegals already in the country, a number which would double as soon as amnesty was proposed...............

According to Nancy Pelosi, “Our view of the law is that it — if somebody is here without sufficient documentation, that is not reason for deportation.”.........She’s not alone.............Republicans are hardly any better. Despite control of both houses of Congress for the past two years, with a president firmly in favor of shutting the open border, Republicans could not find a way to fund a wall. Funding Planned Parenthood, despite campaign promises to the contrary, was easy for Paul Ryan to push through. And Republicans wonder why they did so poorly during the midterm elections?...........Read more

The Only Privilege in America is Liberal Privilege

As lefty online dictionaries  showcasing their lefty words of the year to review 2018 -- such as the “toxic” in toxic masculinity, toxic culture, and toxic environment -- I redeclare the following from 2015, without fear of contradiction:  The only privilege in America is Liberal Privilege.
Item: Michelle Alexander of the New York Times. Reported by Christopher DeGroot, she writes that none of us deserve to be Americans by the privilege of “birthright” citizenship. Okay, Ms. Privileged Times Writer, then prove your bona fides by giving up your privileged job to an educated migrant.
Item: AntiFa protesters in Portland and San Francisco, reported by Kevin Williamson. There is no greater privilege than for police to stand by and fail to enforce the law while the little darlings of the ruling class destroy the property of innocent citizens that are not licensed and bonded little darlings or the ruling class. Hey, AntiFa, why not try your mostly peaceful protesting where the police actually enforce the law -- even, Gaia forbid, on mostly peaceful lefty protesters.
Item: An anti-Semitic lefty group tweeting to kick a Jewish cafe owner out of San Francisco for supporting Israel. Anyone an inch right of center-left would be kicked off Twitter for that. Hey Jack, how about cracking down on those lefty haters?
Item: Catherine Blasey Ford's cock-and-bull story about being assaulted by Brett Kavanaugh nearly half a century ago when they were both teenagers. Do not try this tactic if you are a conservative woman attacking a liberal Supreme Court nominee.  And so on......
When you think about it, it is obvious that left-wing politics is fake politics. .....Read more

‘Meet The Press’ Preaches Climate Change

January 1, 2019 By Norman Rogers

On Sunday morning, December 30, ‘Meet the Press’ had a gala service preaching the climate-change religion. Famous climate preachers like Michael Bloomberg and Jerry Brown were featured speakers. they missed some opportunities and some old themes were nowhere to be found. They neglected to link the supposed, increasing pollution of the oceans with plastic to climate change. They forgot to mention the polar bear tragedy, and for some reason we don’t hear any more about malaria spreading to the temperate zones.

According to “Meet the Press,” “the science of climate doom is absolutely and completely settled science.” For that reason they determined that no time would be given to “climate deniers.” But seemingly they broke their own rule when a clip by the Secretary of Energy, Rick Perry, was played. The foremost climate skeptic in the U.S. Senate, James Inhofe, was also given air time.........

The staff of “Meet the Press” is either incredibly ignorant or pursuing an agenda of left-wing propaganda, or probably both. No quarter was given to “climate deniers”, a deliberate slur that equates anyone who questions climate alarmism with Holocaust deniers. My Take - And people wonder why the MSM is dying and people are turning to blogs to find out what's going on?  The MSM is nothing but the propaganda wing of leftist politics, and just as Sinn Féin is the legal arm of the IRA, the EPA fulfills that role for the environmental movement.

Peru gets rid of glossy shrine to Marxist guerrillas

January 1, 2019 By Monica Showalter

Peruvian authorities on Saturday demolished a mausoleum holding eight Shining Path rebels killed during prison massacres more than three decades ago and relocated their remains to a cemetery in a northern part of Lima. More than 50 police officers and dozens of workers from the cemetery in the Comas district of Peru’s capital participated in the operation, said prosecutor Javier Zapata. The remains of the Maoist rebels will be buried in separate niches.

When I visited Lima in 2012, I was amazed to visit a place called the "Memory Museum" which was dedicated to exposing the crimes of communism. Apparently it was paid for by the Germans and the European Union, and there was some nod to equalize crimes in the eurotrash style, so that supposedly no one would think communism was any worse than thuggy government soldiers, but it didn't work that way, in effect. The simple reason why is that the museum listed all the atrocities, and did huge news spreads on each, as viewers moved from room to room.

The communist atrocities were so much more numerous, so much more expansive in their killing numbers, and so very, very, vile in details, that it was obviously an effort to discredit and de-romanticize communism. (The communists even came into villages and hung people's pets, which shows just what kind of psychopaths these vaunted fighters for social justice really were.) The whole thing was recognizable to anyone, too - the Che tshirts, the university radicals, the press romanticism, the establishment's tolerance ... and the forced marches and death pit massacres. There also were things you never see otherwise, too - such as the news that it was the indigenous people who were brutalized the most by the communists, and those people visited the museum with tears. That doesn't fit the lefty narrative anywhere, and it was clear that the museum's truth-telling was Peruvians refusal to kowtow to those narratives.............Read more

Why Won't Obama Let RFK Rest in Peace?

By Daniel Greenfield Monday, December 31, 2018 @ Sultan Knish Blog

Following in the footsteps of notable luminaries like Bill and Hillary Clinton, Robert DeNiro, George Clooney and Taylor Swift, the Robert F. Kennedy Ripple of Hope Award was bestowed on Barack Obama.

That's not to be confused with the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights awards which were already given out this year to the teen gun control front group, March for Our Lives and to advocates for illegal aliens.

The award, an ugly misshapen bust of RFK which looks to be permanently grimacing in pain (and who can blame him), goes for under $5,000 on the open market. One of the tchotchkes owned by the Kennedy family was sold for $3,336, which can be cheaper than actually going to the ceremony.

And probably more respectful to RFK whose grave at Arlington ripples at every ‘Ripple of Hope’.

Like France’s Legion of Honour, it’s hard to find anyone who’s anyone who doesn’t have one. (If they haven’t sold them yet to pay for a trip to the Bahamas.) Al Gore and Joe Biden have them on a shelf somewhere. If you visit the Kennedy clan, you’re bound to get one as a going away present.

Giving out awards named after RFK at the Hilton Midtown in New York is one of the few things that the foundation named after him seems to do. Its leadership has undergone a grueling grind of three award ceremonies just this year. But the RFK awards in their glorious meaninglessness help bored New York celebs and CEOs answer the question of what to do when they haven’t picked up an award in a year.

Obama had given away plenty of the ugly little things, so it was his turn to actually get one of his own. His first time at the RFKs had been to hand out the award to ACORN activist Stephen Bradberry, who had insisted that New Orleans was suffering from “a concerted plan to make this a whiter city.”

That was 2005 and both Barry and Bradberry were auditioning for bigger things. Barry made it, Bradberry didn’t. These days his bio lists a few accomplishments. One of them is the claim that, “Bradberry is the only American individual to receive the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Award.”

It depends on how you define American.

In 2009, Obama was handing out the little statues of RFK at the White House. If he had any real concern for human rights, he would have done the decent thing and let Robert F. Kennedy rest in peace.

Instead, he showed up grinning and tilting his head for the cameras at the New York Midtown Hilton.

In his acceptance speech, he often spoke of hope. But it’s hard to look at a map of the country or the world and find one place on it that feels more hopeful after his years in office. Are Americans more hopeful than they were in 2008? Are people in the Middle East, Asia, Africa, or South America more hopeful? Where can you find Obama and ‘hope’ together except at the RFK Ripple of Hope awards?

Obama urged attendees at the gala to reject cynicism and embrace hope. Then he sat back down next to New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy, a Goldman Sachs executive and top Den donor who bought an ambassadorship from Obama and then bought a gubernatorial election, and is now enmeshed in a scandal involving a sexual assault by a staffer that the perpetually smirking politician chose to ignore.

But mere sexual assaults can no more slow down the Robert F. Kennedy Ripple of Hope awards than it ever slowed down the real life Kennedys.

Murphy thanked the people giving him an award for "keeping the legacy and spirit of RFK alive". The legacy and spirit of RFK apparently involves handing out awards to racists, rape enablers and murderers.

Three health care CEOs have received the Ripple of Hope award. As did Bono, Wyclef Jean, George Clooney, Tony Bennett, Robert DeNiro, and Taylor Swift, for dating a member of the Kennedy family. If dating a Kennedy (and surviving) isn’t a true commitment to human rights, I don’t know what is.

Alec Baldwin was there as the emcee for the second year in a row despite recently being arrested and charged with assault after punching a man during a fight over a parking spot. Baldwin’s history of altercations may have prevented him from receiving a Ripple of Hope Award, but it didn’t prevent him from emceeing another of them. Nothing short of murder in broad daylight would have done it.

(Drowning a woman in a car at night or murdering a teenage girl in her backyard also doesn’t count according to the Kennedy code of ethics.)

Also speaking was Tom Brokaw, who recently had his own #MeToo moment.

Sadly, there was no mention of one of the RFK award’s first recipients, Winnie Mandela, who had recently passed away and gone to whatever place the murderers of teenage boys are summoned.

Four years after winning the prestigious human rights award, Winnie Mandela and her thugs murdered Stompie Moeketsi Seipei, a 14-year-old boy, in a failed effort to get him to make a false accusation of molestation against a white Methodist minister active in the fight against Apartheid.

"I slaughtered him like a goat," one of her thugs testified.

Jerry Richardson, the thug, called Mandela, "Mommy", and described beating, killing and torturing people on her orders.

Stompie had been beaten for days, including by Winnie Mandela who used her fists and a whip.

"She was singing when she started the assault on us," another of the RFK Human Rights award winner's victims described.

Yet another victim described Winnie Mandela dancing to the rhythm of the blows.

Another of Mandela’s thugs stated that, “Madikizela-Mandela told me to sing loudly to drown the voices of those being brutally assaulted.”

It certainly puts Alec Baldwin into perspective.

The Robert F. Kennedy award ceremonies are an embarrassment to RFK, who, for all his flaws, didn’t deserve this. No one does. Some leaders hope to have bridges and rivers named after them. Nobody really wants to have the CEO of a health care company and a bunch of trashy cable channels explain how connected to you they feel in their work of killing the elderly and making millennials even dumber.

Discovery CEO David Zaslav claimed that his company was carrying forward RFK's legacy by "informing, inspiring and educating its global viewers with deeply loved content."

It's hard to say whether RFK would have seen his legacy more in Battlebots, Naked and Afraid or Deadliest Catch. Or whether he would come back to haunt the Ripple of Hope awards if he could.

But you can’t deny that when it isn’t handing out worthless awards that make RFK roll over in his grave, that the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights foundation occasionally makes a difference in people’s lives.

Just last October, RFK Human Rights bailed out Tamika West, a career criminal in New York with 27 arrests for burglary, prostitution and drugs, to prove that bail is unfair to “people living in poverty.”

That was according to Kerry Kennedy, who can’t stop handing out awards to random Democrats.

This December, Tamika was busted for stealing toys for needy kids, after lighting a crack pipe, and going on her merry way.

Look for her to be next year’s Robert F. Kennedy Ripple of Hope honoree.

Mr. Chief Justice: What are you doing about the fraud on the FISA Court you supervise?

A Politico article by an experienced attorney, Nelson Cunningham, raises an interesting legal question:
We're about to find out why the chief justice of the Supreme Court decided to get involved in the special counsel's investigation[.] ... So now, in abrupt fashion, Mueller's investigation has suddenly reached the Supreme Court, and with the personal attention of the chief justice, no less. ...........
Invoking a connection between Chief Justice Roberts and Special Counsel Mueller is interesting, and that mystery will soon be solved. Beyond that big reveal being speculated about in the Politico article, Chief Justice Roberts is already directly connected to the Mueller Probe.

Roberts is 100% responsible for all issues of any legal malfeasance engaged in by the FISA court.........To Read More

My Take - I think it's been clearly established that the DOJ, the FBI were involved in absolutely illegal activity, and possibly some members of the federal judiciary. When is someone going to be prosecuted? And I keep asking:  Why doesn't this constitute grounds for a RICO investigation that should be wide spread to include the DOJ/FBI, Mueller, Comey, McCabe, Strzok, Page, Hillary, Britons MI6, the DNC and a host of others from the Obama administration, and quite reasonably, Obama himself?

RICO stands for Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act, and it certainly appears to me there's tons of corruption here and they were certainly orgainzed to implement that corruption.  The only question as far as I can see is:  What is Trump waiting for?

Ruth Bader Ginsburg is a Disgrace!

By Rich Kozlovich

Well, it appears Hollywood is going to beautify Ruth Bader Ginsburg into leftist sainthood, and she's the perfect icon for that lot.  Irrational and morally defective.

Ginsburg has always been touted as a "brilliant" jurist, but is she brilliant or is she just mendacious and insidious?  Before being appointed to the Judiciary she was an attorney for the American Civil Liberties Union, an organization devoted to overturning the Constitution with clever legal tactics and court decisions based on the "penumbra" of the Constitution.
"In United States constitutional law, the penumbra includes a group of rights derived, by implication, from other rights explicitly protected in the Bill of Rights. These rights have been identified through a process of "reasoning-by-interpolation", where specific principles are recognized from "general idea" that are explicitly expressed in other constitutional provisions......."
An open ended concept that allows for abuse, and Ginsburg and the leftist cabal infesting the federal judiciary has been liberal in use of that abuse!

The ACLU is an organization founded by known communists Roger Baldwin and Crystal Eastman.  "He was described as a “progressive” and “the perfect feminist.”  Earl Russell Browder was an American political activist and leader of the Communist Party USA. Browder is best remembered as the General Secretary of the CPUSA during the 1930s and first half of the 1940s. was general secretary of the Communist Party of the United States from 1930 through its dissolution."  An organization directly controlled by the Soviet Union.  "As with all Leftists, there was no lie the CPUSA would not tell, no policy it would not abandon, no dime on which it would not turn if it suited its larger purposes"  The ACLU was intended to be nothing more than a tool of American destruction, and it's done first rate job of it.

Here are the 45 declared goals of the Communist Party to take over America as appeared in the January 10, 1963 Congressional Record.  Make no mistake about it, Ginsburg has been faithful to her communist roots in her actions and decisions disguised as arguments to promote equality, in an effort to destroy the American identity, the American culture, the American economy and overturn the Constitution.

Here's an article by Daniel John Sobieski entitled, The Beatification of Ruth Bader Ginsburg.  Read it after reading the article I linked about the goals of communism in America and then tell me she's not promoting, plotting and implementing those goals through warped logic and decisions.

Ginsburg is a disgrace as a jurist and a human being.  She's the perfect icon for the left.

The Beatification of Ruth Bader Ginsburg

By Daniel John Sobieski December 31, 2018

In anticipation of her seat being the next Supreme Court vacancy to be filled by President Trump, Hollywood has come out with a fawning biopic of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg depicting how in 1956 she overcame the sexist fortress of Harvard Law School to become the feminist icon she is today.............
  • Ginsburg called for the sex-integration of prisons and reformatories so that conditions of imprisonment, security and housing could be equal. She explained, “If the grand design of such institutions is to prepare inmates for return to the community as persons equipped to benefit from and contribute to civil society, then perpetuation of single-sex institutions should be rejected.”.......
  • Ginsburg called for reducing the age of consent for sexual acts to people who are “less than 12 years old.” ......
  • She asserted that laws against “bigamists, persons cohabiting with more than one woman, and women cohabiting with a bigamist” are unconstitutional......
  • She objected to laws against prostitution because “prostitution, as a consensual act between adults, is arguably within the zone of privacy protected by recent constitutional decisions.” ......
  • Ginsburg wrote that the Mann Act (which punishes those who engage in interstate sex traffic of women and girls) is “offensive.” Such acts should be considered “within the zone of privacy.” .....
  • Ginsburg is no fan of President Trump, which is why she refuses to retire, but is a fan of bypassing the U.S. Constitution. .......
  • Ginsburg called presumptive GOP presidential nominee a “faker” and warned of the danger of a Trump administration to Scotus and the country. As ABC News reported..........
  • She jokingly added that she would move to New Zealand if he were to win the election in November. (Unfortunately she stayed.  RK)......
  • She is one of the justices who advocates incorporating foreign law and foreign constitutions into Scotus decisions:.........
  • She defended the Supreme Court’s recent practice of taking guidance from foreign law when interpreting the U.S. Constitution. She acknowledged that the practice has been criticized. She expressed concern at bills before Congress condemning the practice. ......
  • Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, in a concurring opinion in Grutter vs. Bollinger, affirmed the use of racial preferences in university admissions, citing the fact that the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination temporarily allows for the “maintenance of unequal or separate rights for different racial groups.” Separate but equal?........
  • Justice Ginsburg shares the view that the Supreme Court is a tool, not for ruling on the law and the Constitution as the Founders intended, but as a tool for social engineering incorporating foreign laws and opinions...
  •  She is a globalist who believes that “we the people” includes the people of Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka. ..
  • She believes in a “living Constitution” as an Etch-a-Sketch document that can mean, as in Alice in Wonderland, whatever she chooses it to mean. ...
  • She is the poster child for judicial activism and legislating from the bench. She will not be missed....To Read More.....

When the federal prosecutors target an innocent man…

By John Dunn

The video embedded below is a speech by Howard Root, CEO of Vascular Solutions, who was the target of DOJ prosecution and prosecutorial misconduct beyond your wildest imagination. I recommend that you take the time to listen to Mr. Root's description of the DOJ conduct in this video, so you won't have to read the book.

People in his company were subjected to prosecutorial misconduct that is almost no better than what you may imagine was the strategy of Stalin's prosecutor, Beria. I read Mr. Root's book, Cardiac Arrest, and I can confirm he was mistreated and his company and employees were mistreated by DOJ prosecutors in ways that will outrage you.

Mr. Root is a great storyteller and can put the legal issues up so you can understand them.  Vascular Solutions was a remarkably successful medical applications and instruments company that was targeted by the Obama DOJ, and the story is emblematic of the problem.  The book is not too long but complicated, and Mr. Root explains the events much better in this speech.

Outgoing White House Chief of Staff John F. Kelly defends his rocky tenure

Molly O'Toole

The retired four-star Marine general will leave the administration on Wednesday. First as Homeland Security chief and then in 18 months at the White House, he presided over some of the Trump administration’s most controversial immigration and security policies.

In the phone interview Friday, Kelly defended his rocky tenure, arguing that it is best measured by what the president did not do when Kelly was at his side..............     Kelly said he made sure that Trump had access to multiple streams of detailed information before he made a decision — even if the president says he often relies on his gut, rather than U.S. intelligence.  “It’s never been: The president just wants to make a decision based on no knowledge and ignorance,” Kelly said. “You may not like his decision, but at least he was fully informed on the impact.” ..........

Trump sometimes pressed his advisors on the limits of his authority under the law, often asking Kelly, “‘Why can’t we do it this way?’”  But Trump never ordered him to do anything illegal, Kelly stressed, “because we wouldn’t have.”..............Unlike Kelly’s friend James N. Mattis, the retired Marine general who resigned as secretary of Defense with a public letter rebuking the president for abandoning allies and undermining alliances, Kelly kept his counsel..........

Asked why he stayed 18 months in the White House, despite policy differences, personality clashes, the punishing schedule, and a likely lasting association with some of Trump’s controversies, he said simply: duty............To Read More....

My Take - I've not agreed with Kelly for some time on a lot of issues, but he's demonstrating character in his departure - a class act - and I respect him for that.  I hope he stays that way.  As for his departure being "worrisome"?  The graveyard is filled with indispensible people, and I'm willing to bet Kelly would agree.

The International Criminal Court appoints a Palestinian official who overlooked torture in Palestinian jails

The election of the Palestinian Attorney-General, Dr. Ahmad Barrak, to serve as a member of the "Advisory Committee on Nominations" of judges of the International Criminal Court, if it were not so serious, could be seen as comical. It cannot but invoke the ancient Latin maxim "ovem lupo commitere," or in its literal and colloquial version "to set the wolf to guard the sheep."
This sums up the acute absurdity to which respected international institutions in the international community, and particularly the United Nations and the International Criminal Court, have descended. Sadly, they have permitted themselves to be abused and manipulated by an irresponsible Palestinian leadership, intent on hijacking international organizations for obvious and blatant political purposes[.] .......... My TakeRespected international institutions? Really?  Name one!

The United Nations is the most corrupt incompetent organization the world has ever known and the International Criminal Court is corrupt, incompetent and is incapable of understanding the concept of actual justice let alone implementing it, I'm not shocked at all by this.

The United Nations Human Rights Council members have often been those with the most dispicable human rights records, sitting in judgement on themeselves, but mostly sitting in judgement on Israel for defending itself while ignoring all the horrors perpetrated by Muslim controlled nations against Israel, their own citizens and those neighbors they can assult.

Respected international organizations?  Really? Respected by whom?

Club For the Galacticly Stupid: The Difference Between God And ‘Saint Nancy’ On The Border Wall Issue

Scott Morefield  Dec 31, 2018

It’s hilarious when godless liberals appropriate a word like “immoral” when they clearly haven’t the slightest clue what it means, much less think that it would ever truly apply to something they support.
Yet, Democrats of late have been in the habit of using the term to describe President Trump’s proposed border wall.

It’s a two-pronged propaganda coup for them. First, by casting something they staunchly oppose as “immoral,” it virtue-signals morality on themselves. Second, it paints those who oppose their position as bad people who want to slaughter puppies and hang immigrant children by their toes.

So unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve probably noticed that soon-to-be House Speaker Nancy Pelosi - or Saint Nancy, as Tucker Carlson aptly dubbed her - is among the most flagrant offenders.

'Pro-Life’ Abortion Activist Tells Kids: Abortion Is ‘God’s Plan’

Katie Yoder Dec 31, 2018

On Dec. 28, Kids Meet, a HiHo show run by Cut.com, released its latest episode on Facebook: “Kids Meet Someone Who's Had an Abortion.” In this case, that someone was Amelia Bonow – the cofounder of #ShoutYourAbortion, a network that encourages women share their positive abortion stories. While Bonow accused the pro-life movement of “propaganda,” she spread some of her own to kids – from calling abortion “God’s plan” to identifying as “pro-life.”

The Kids Meet show claims to foster “empathy through play” by introducing “curious kids” to “people with particular points of view.” But Bonow didn’t just give a point of view; she twisted religion and the pro-life movement to kids............. no one should be forced to create a life. The difference is that, in the pro-life movement, that choice happens before getting pregnant – not after....... For her part, Bonow – who may not even believe in God – told them abortion is “all part of God’s plan.”........To Read More.....

What I Don't Believe!

By Rich Kozlovich

It's now December 31, 2018.  It's the end of Trump's second year, and I have never seen so much insanity in all my 72 years, and I think the insanity is going to increase.

I believe the left hates Trump even when he does things they like.  The mental gymnastics they've done to criticize him for leaving Syria has been remarkable.  I believe the the RINO's and Neo-Cons hate Trump because he wants to dismantle a system that's made they and their friends wealthy.  In that, the left and the RINO/Neo-Cons, are in harmony and explains why they've been so cozy the last three years hoping to defeat Trump in the primaries and then in the 2016 election.

The RINO/Neo-Cons are being exposed for who and what they are and that will help define who and what the Republican party is, and the direction they'll being going, at least for a while.  They're the reason the Republican party has been consistently called, and acted like, the Stupid Party.

There's a lot of talk about draining the swamp and fixing the Deep State, but that would take a lot more than rolling back a few liberal left wing initiatives.  It requires an entire restructuring of the liberal/leftist/progressive vision and central power governing structure and the initiatives they've insidiously imposed on the nation through regulations, spending and taxes. That can't be done without restructuring government by eliminating whole departments of the federal government.

To fix it you must shrink it, and that must be done on a massive scale, and that includes eliminating the Departments of Labor, Energy, Education, Commerce, Health and Human Services, Housing and Urban Development and Transportation.  Combine Home Land Security and Veterans Departments with the Department of Defense.  Combine Agriculture and Interior.   Remember, the Post Office once was a Department, and now it's not, and it should be joined by those I've listed here, and that includes the frighteningly large number of agencies that work for those departments.

As it is now, entirely too many "Americans" think government is the answer and not the problem.  As of now too many Americans don't think they're Americans; too many Americans hate America; too many Americans are remarkably ignorant of American history; too many Americans fail to realize how unique American style republican democracy is in all of world history; too many Americans graduate from school semi-illiterate; too many Americans graduate from college filled with false information and assumptions about how the world works, or should work, and are arrogant in their ignorance; too many Americans no longer are people of faith, and as a result have no moral foundation other than the latest philosophical flavor of the day.

Is it any wonder society is being washed back and forth like waves crashing against the rocks to its destruction?

Here's what I don't believe:
  • I don’t believe Social Security will there for my children and it may not be there for me for much longer. Social Security will no longer be self-funding by 2020 and bankrupt by 2030, and it will go bankrupt with the federal government owing the Social Security fund trillions of dollars they borrowed with non-redeemable bonds.
  • I don't believe our children and grandchildren will have a better life than we did.
  • I don’t believe Medicare and Medicaid can survive the decade.
  • I don’t believe crony capitalism will be less but more – especially since this pattern goes back to the Whiskey Act of 1791.
  • I don’t believe those who left California because they made a mess of it won’t attempt to make a mess of the states they moved to.
  • I don't believe spending billions will end poverty.
  • I don't believe spending billions will fix homelessness.  California spend billions to fix homelessness and it only dropped one percent.  Even if those billions amounted to only "two billion that would come to 1.3 million to get one person off the street".
  • I don't believe you can convince liberals their leftist philosophy has been the most irrational, misanthropic and morally defective belief system in all of world history.  In spite of the ongoing human disaster leftists imposed on Venezuela, millennials all want us to "Feel the Bern."
  • I don’t believe the national debt can be paid unless the government sells its assets - which amounts to 150 trillion dollars – and they won’t.
  • I don’t believe academia can be purged of its far left Frankfurt School aficionados unless we stop funding these universities with taxpayer dollars and student loans. They can't be fixed until they have to become self supporting for profit institutions.
  • I don't believe public education can be fixed until the federal government is forced out of it.
  • I don’t believe anything can be fixed until the 16th and 17th amendments are repealed.
  • I don't believe you can reduce corruption in government without term limits.
  • I don't believe the federal judiciary will remember it's proper role until age and term limits are imposed.
  • I don't believe diversity and multiculturalism, is anything more than a leftist scheme to undermine and destroy the American identity, the American culture, the American economy and overturn the U.S. Constitution.
  • I don't believe the world's economy is stable.  The unending amount of debt the world's nations has accumulated, and continues to accumulate, is going to cause a worldwide economic depression.
  • I don't believe the EU will be in existence by 2030, and probably before that.  I'm guessing 2025 may be a more realistic year.
  • I don't believe Europeans can tolerate the Muslim invasion much longer without civil war breaking out all over Europe.
  • I don't believe the Middle East or anywhere in the world that's dominated by Islam is fixable.
  • I don't believe Russia or China can withstand an international economic down turn, let alone a collapse.
  • I don't believe a nation that abandoned the moral foundations that made them great can survive.
  • I don't believe large corporations are concerned about anything except the next quarterly report, and in no way will they support anything considered conservative, in their views, their actions or their philosophy, unless they can be paid to do so.
  • I don't believe any of the problems listed above can be fixed until public education is fixed.
  • I don't believe there is such a thing as man made climate change.
  • I don't believe green activists are anything but dishonest, irrational, misanthropic and morally defective.
  • I don't believe leftism ever sleeps.

Finally, I don't believe any of the things I've listed will be fixed, and I wish all I've said above wasn't true.  However, I really do wish everyone a wonderful, healthy, happy 2019.

Polishing Jonah Goldberg

“American Greatness,” as all things Trump in general, has gotten under his skin.

Ed Morrow December 29, 2018

Jonah Goldberg wrote a column for National Review before departing for his Christmas holiday in Hawaii. Was it a retelling of a long ago night before Christmas, when a tiny Jonah in footy PJs couldn’t sleep for hope of a pony under the tree? No. It was a screed titled “Conservative Facts.” What set off Goldberg was a column in American Greatness by Chris Buskirk titled “Death of The Weekly Standard Signals Rebirth of the Right.”..............He bitches.

Buskirk’s column applauded the failure of the Weekly Standard.........like many conservatives, sees neoconservatism as an ism that through “titanic hubris and priggish moralism” failed conservatism..............They believe that while America was trying to build democracy in foreign lands with our blood and treasure, America, at home, was being transformed into something unrecognizable.......... Good motives don’t guarantee good results..............Neocon-endorsed wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.......... but there appears to be no end to the bloodshed.

Neocons also failed to reduce Big Government, the target they explicitly reviled in their foundling days. .............during the heyday of neoconservatism “a new generation of careerists, sycophants, and know-nothings flooded Washington eager to find a Beltway sinecure. The legacy conservative media began to change. Step by step it abandoned historic American principles and ultimately came to despise the American people.............If Hillary Clinton had won the presidency, she would have sent America far down the road to something appalling............. Millions of Americans understand this but Goldberg doesn’t and disregards their concerns............ Kristol says that he piously prefers democratic and constitutional politics “But if it comes to it, [I] prefer the deep state to the Trump state.” That’s a shocking remark................To Read More.....

Jonah Goldberg and Cardinal Newman

By  | December 29th, 2018

My friend Jonah Goldberg has prompted me to think a bit about the issue of character as it relates to public service. Jonah thinks that Donald Trump is a man of bad character. He’s written this several times, most recently, I believe, at National Review where he puts it negatively: it is an “obvious truth,” he says, that “President Trump is not a man of good character.”

In August, on Twitter, Jonah issued a challenge that, he noted, he had been pressing for three years: “Please come up with a definition of good character that Donald Trump can clear.”...........

My question is this: what is the character that Jonah wants us to champion and that he stipulates Donald Trump lacks? Let us grant that the president is an imperfect man. What betokens worse character: tweeting rude things or having sex with your intern in the Oval Office? What’s worse, insulting Bob Corker or using the Department of Justice and the IRS to harass and persecute your political opponents?...........To Read More......

Random Observations and Memories As the Year 2018 Wraps Up

So sioux me, Sen. Pocahontas.

December 29, 2018 Dov Fischer

It is impossible to get all the 2018 memories into one article, even this double-sized (literally) long one, so this 2018 retrospective limits to one paragraph per topic and amplifies not in the text but by embedding hyperlinks to some forty or so of my TAS readers’ favorite articles from the past year and a half — not to mention the past year’s most viral favorite: Everyone’s Smart Except Trump. Feel free to read in bits, a ’graph here and a ’graph there, over the extended New Year’s Weekend — or read more if, like me, you now boycott the NFL completely so have more time. And now on to memory lane:

Hillary Still Coping in Alternate Reality

Hillary (D-NY)… and suddenly that name will never be the same again. Answering Chris Wallace in a 2016 Presidential debate, Hillary (D-NY) excoriated Donald Trump when he left open whether he would accept uncritically the results of the Presidential election if he were to lose. Yet, after the election, Hillary challenged the vote counts, denounced the electoral college, mocked the stupidity of White women for letting their husbands tell them how to vote, endlessly blamed her loss on Russian collusion and election influencing, and she blamed James Comey for reopening the investigation into her 33,000 yoga and wedding-dress emails after the FBI learned that Hillary aide Huma Abedin had emailed secure and confidential materials to a home computer used simultaneously by her lecherous then-and-now-former husband Anthony Weiner (D-NY). Having only barely not lost in 2008 to Obama, and again having not lost to Trump, she has supporters urging her to try a third time in 2020 not to lose the Presidency again. Many of those urging her to run are loyal readers of these columns. None believe that her 33,000 deleted emails concerned yoga. Reality check: Hillary never attained the lotus position, and Hillary never attained the POTUS position.
