When Ego and Delusion Fills the Brain, There's No Room Intelligence

Definition lead to clarity.  Clarity leads to understanding.  Understanding leads to good decision making.  Good decision making leads to harmony.  That means Nikki Haley is toast.

It's hard to believe anyone can as delusional as Nikki Haley, who was the former governor for the state of South Carolina, and she lost .... massively.... and not only that, she was declared the loser within to Trump within minutes of the closing of the polls, and most of the votes she got was from Democrats since South Carolina is an open primary state.

 

That line was from the movie Dumb and Dumber, and it really fits when it comes to Nikki Haley.   After such a loss from their home state, unable to even break 40 percent, she has become as insufferable as Hillary Clinton, Beto O'Rourke, and Liz Chaney, whose only skill is running for office.  Unsuccessfully!  And shooting their mouths vying to see who can be the most insufferable.

According to Nikki she's staying in this "race" because what she saw was South Carolina's frustration with our country's direction, and “couldn’t be more worried about America.” Really?  She worried, and she's absolutely sure “there are huge numbers of voters in our Republican primaries that want an alternative.” And of course she's just absolutely sure it's her the Republican base wants.  Amazing!

It gets' better.  Her reason for staying in?  She's "a woman of my word.”  Didn't I tell you it gets, better?  So, she's staying in because she's a woman of her word.  I'll tell you what, we'll come back to that.

But she's getting support, a lot of support, except Nikki Haley appears to fabricate her own fan mail and gets devoured by the apex predators of MAGA.   This was on February 2nd, so is she still faking it?  I really don't know, but does it really matter?  Since when do the delusional need evidence to support their delusions? 

Then we have Michigan, where Trump won 65.6% of the votes to 30.2% for Nikki, and made a spectacle of herself, having wasted over $76M to Defeat Trump in MI, SC, NH, IA.  Tens of millions of dollars that didn't go to targeting Joe Biden, or the Democrats.

The former South Carolina governor knows this, along with all her supporters—all four of them. It’s now about lowering expectations, which the Haley camp has sunk to ridiculous depths to spin this dumpster fire of the campaign. No one expects much on Super Tuesday. The Haley campaign has reached a point where these new media lines from her communications staff do more to the case that she should drop out of this now-embarrassing spectacle. 

She apparently feels she has to keep running because she's not sure Trump will follow the Constitution if he's elected to a second term, and he might decide to take revenge on his adversaries. 

Does she mean the ones who've committed treason, and been outrageously corrupt with the tacit consent of the DOJ and the FBI?  I didn't know it was revenge when you prosecute people for crimes they've committed. 

Remarkable!  Why, thank you Nikki for that insightful thought!  Get real, and refer back to my subtitle!

 

This is from the "woman of her word", the one who didn't feel she had to be faithful to her husband.  The same "woman of her word" who no longer feels she has to honor her pledge to support Trump. And why?  Because the RNC isn't the same.  Really?  What exactly does that mean?  It means she and her RINO friends are toast.  The Republican base is totally against them, as a result they're being driven out of power by Trump and his supporters, and they've read the tea leaves.

Nikki is as slippery as an eel, and when the seven dwarfs were running against Trump I pointed out she not only refused to say Biden was elected through voter fraud, she actually claimed he won.   All the while blabbering about preventing voter fraud, trying to have it both ways.  

While she did a credible job as the UN Ambassador, she's not to be trusted.  While other candidates rightly called the latest Trump indictment a travesty of justice and political persecution, Nikki Haley bragged:

“Unlike the other candidates, I didn’t rush out with a statement yesterday on Trump’s indictment for one simple reason—like most Americans, I’m tired of commenting on every Trump drama, ........I’ve lost track of whether this indictment is the third or fourth or the fifth.”  

So, let me see if I understand this correctly.  Unlike the other candidates, it appears she didn't care about all this political corruption, and her failure to take a position against all these corrupt lawfare political indictments is a virtue.   A virtue!  Did I get that right?

 

Wow!  Now, what could be more inspirational for all those thousands and thousands of Republicans she claims are desperate for an alternative than that?  Oh, wait I know, I know, she could just go home and stop wasting everyone's time and money, and shut her mouth for the rest of her life.  Inspiration!

 

South Carolina Primary: Trump Romps, Haley on Life Support

The reasons for this race to continue diminish by the day.

Not that we couldn’t figure it out before, but now we know for sure why Nikki Haley made a much-ballyhooed speech earlier in the week promising she would not quit after Saturday’s primary contest in South Carolina and would remain in the race through Super Tuesday, March 5. It was a clever preemptive strike designed to avoid having to answer the same question after a fourth straight blowout loss.

And sure enough, as widely predicted, the 45th president romped to a landslide victory on the home turf of his lone remaining competitor for the Republican presidential nomination. Haley’s distant hope was based on the possibility of a surge of Trump haters, moderates, Democrats, secular and highly-educated voters, and those who do not traditionally vote in primaries. That hope was vanquished early in the evening, with the networks calling the race for the former president based on exit polls before a single vote was tallied. Trump’s final margin is expected to be well into double digits. He earned 59% of the vote to Haley’s 39% with 95% of the vote counted and won all 44 of the state’s available delegates to July’s GOP Convention in Milwaukee.

It makes one wonder whether Haley’s vow to carry on no matter the result in South Carolina was too clever by half. She said nothing she hadn’t said before and advanced the usual lines of attack against Trump and Biden – making the entire heavily promoted announcement little more than pure political posturing. And after another lopsided loss, she will have considerably more trouble continuing to sidestep the growing hue and cry within the Republican Party for her to stand down in the interests of party unity.

South Carolina – in the Bag Early

Haley’s internal polling, a staple of presidential campaigns, must have delivered a clear message well before Saturday that she would be trounced in her home state – a fate far more embarrassing than the losses she has already absorbed in Iowa, New Hampshire, and Nevada. It raises the question of what Ms. Haley sees that no one else does. Does she have a secret battle plan for winning some of the 15 states up for grabs on Super Tuesday, now on the near horizon? Does her plan include aggressive trolling for votes among independent voters and Trump-hating Democrats in states where they are allowed to cross over and cast a protest vote for her?

The best guess is that her plan is based on a single premise. At this stage of the game, with Trump running up the score and polling almost like a popular incumbent among Republicans, the only logical conclusion is that Haley hopes – or perhaps believes – Trump will not make it to the finish line because of his legal entanglements. If she remains in as long as possible, the thinking goes, it would place her next in line for the nomination should Trump’s troubles metastasize. Simply put, Haley evidently is proceeding on the premise that, if Trump is convicted of a felony – he is currently charged with 91 of them – then all bets are off, and she can swoop in and bring order to the chaos as an unthreatening, relatively moderate, and non-controversial standard bearer.

It’s about all Haley has left in her bag of tricks. She has rolled out a number of arguments, but like the Democrats, most of them are based on degrading her opponent. She has said Trump was the right man for the job in 2016, but no longer. That argument did not fly. Nor did the attack on Trump for significantly increasing the national debt. Nor did the proclamation that Republicans should want a younger candidate, one with fewer blemishes, or that she is more appealing to Trump’s Achilles heel, women voters.

She has also long argued that she would perform better than Trump in the general election against Joe Biden. That claim might have stuck while Trump was trailing in the polls many months ago, but not now when he is leading. And while some surveys confirm Haley’s assertion that she might be more likely than Trump to take down Biden, they also identify a rebound effect, namely that GOP voters will be less motivated to show up and vote with Haley instead of Trump at the top of the ticket. And that should hardly be surprising. An overwhelming majority of Republicans have, through three campaign cycles, embraced the historic figure who stands all by himself in the eyes of MAGA enthusiasts: Donald Trump. To them, Haley is just another establishment politician.

For a candidate with famously large ambitions, one would expect the lady from the Palmetto State to carefully weigh the plusses and minuses of remaining in the fight. While staying in will further increase her visibility, primarily for the purpose of setting her up as a major player in 2028, she risks being blamed if Trump loses to Biden by those who would claim her refusing to quit while the quitting was good and continuing to divide the GOP proved fatal. And in the worst case, she would then become an outcast in her own party. One way or the other, time is running out for Nikki Haley to decide whether she will continue to be the skunk at Donald Trump’s garden party.

Political gamesmanship or electoral interference?

All polling indicates that Nikki Haley will be trounced by former President Donald Trump in South Carolina’s GOP primary today, February 24. This contest will almost certainly mark the fourth consecutive defeat for the Palmetto State’s former governor, and it seems reasonable to assume that this would herald the end of her long-shot campaign. But should Haley surmount the expected 25-30% deficit and get within striking distance of the front-runner, it could provide a much-needed revitalization – and South Carolina Democrats may be about to lend her a helping hand.

SuperPAC Haley Gambit

A near-constant Haley campaign refrain – one might also call it her slogan – is that the “elites” want Trump, and the “grassroots” want Nikki. Primaries and caucuses in New Hampshire, Iowa, and Nevada have all proven the falsity of this idea, yet it persists. Closing that gap between her and The Donald in South Carolina would, however, give it the air of legitimacy. And more importantly, it will give the left-leaning media – who have arguably been carrying water for her – the ammunition it needs to keep treating her campaign as a serious challenge.

But how to close that gap?

SFA Fund Inc., is a Super PAC “working to support Nikki Haley’s candidacy for president of the United States.” According to Open Secrets, the outfit has raised almost $81 million in 2024 – it has so far spent over $79 million. A mailer from the group reads, “If you did not vote in the February 3rd Democratic primary, you are eligible to vote on February 24th.”

“Your vote can make a difference,” it continued. “Please participate by voting for Nikki Haley and make your voice heard.” “Time is running out. You have a choice. Vote for Nikki Haley against Donald Trump.”

South Carolina allows voters to participate in whichever party’s primary they choose. This means those who did not cast a ballot in the Democratic primary earlier this month are eligible to involve themselves in the Republican battle.

Is it a baseless conspiracy that Democrats might try to thwart the Republican electoral process? That’s certainly what The New York Times thought when the issue was raised in New Hampshire. Yet the evidence speaks for itself.

A Rogue Thumb on the Scale

In a piece published just before the January 23 New Hampshire primary, The Times noted:

“Mr. Trump has falsely claimed that Ms. Haley is counting on Democrats to ‘infiltrate’ the Republican primary, but it is too late for voters who are already registered to change their party affiliation.”

But was the assertion false? The deadline for switching party affiliation was October 2023; it has been known that Joe Biden would be ditching Iowa and New Hampshire in favor of South Carolina since at least June – plenty of time for strategic shenanigans. And then, of course, independent voters are merely voters who have not designated themselves as adherents to a particular party. When declaring only buys you a vote within your favored party, why not stay independent and throw curveballs against a party you oppose?

So, did Nikki Haley attract support from either registered Democrats or traditionally left-leaning voters? Almost certainly. It may not have amounted to much, but to suggest that Trump is speaking “falsely” tells us more about how willing the legacy media is to cast about blanket statements without providing actual evidence when it comes to the 45th president.

But don’t take this author’s word for it; listen instead to the founder of Primary Pivot, Robert Schwartz, whose organization spends its time and treasure convincing independents and liberals to cast their precious primary ballots for Nikki Haley.

“We only care about damaging Donald Trump. For better or for worse, the only thing you can do if you really want to stop Trump is to vote for Haley,” he explained. When asked by Politico whether he felt his strategy was delivering results, he said:

“I think the fact that over 3,500 Democrats became undeclared before the October deadline was one initial indicator. The other indicator is that we’ve heard in surveys that the top issue for over 90 percent of left-leaning undeclared voters is stopping Donald Trump. And then the third is that, anecdotally, I have been in so many conversations with people who say, ‘Oh, I’m a Democrat and I missed the registration deadline, but I wish I could have changed over to vote in the Republican primary.’ Almost all the undeclared voters that I have talked to — and I talked to a lot of Democratic-leaning voters — are considering voting in the Republican primary. Not all of them will get there, but we can bring a horse to water. We can’t make them drink.”

Schwartz acknowledged that his outreach to registered Democrats was – due to the deadline – limited in scope, but limited does not mean non-existent. Instead, his group’s funds focused primarily on the 130,000 undeclared voters to the tune of half a million dollars.

Primary Pivot is just one such group that was engaged in electioneering in the Granite State. What may be about to happen in South Carolina, however, could be on a much grander scale.

The Biden Numbers

On the February 3 Democrat Party South Carolina Primary, President Joe Biden scored a mighty 96.2% of the vote. It‘s an impressive sounding number, but less so when we consider the pitiable turnout of just 4%. Even more notable is that this is a grand total of 126,493 individual votes for Biden, a staggering decline in the number of ballots cast in 2020. Granted, the 2020 Democrat primary was a competitive affair and pivotal to Biden’s eventual nomination, but there were over 500,000 voters who turned out that year. Where did they all go? Either 75% of usual Democrat voters have lost enthusiasm for engaging in primary season, or, maybe, some of them are – as the saying goes – keeping their powder dry during the Trump-Haley race.

The Real Clear Politics polling average gives Trump a 25.3% lead, but that is largely from a pool of likely Republican voters. With an open primary, and $80 million on the field, a lot of Democrats with a personal vendetta against Donald J. Trump – and a Fourth Estate ready to set the spin machine in motion – the final narrative is far from written.

Nikki Haley, Slavery, and Our Democracy

While I agree with all those who comment about the valuelessness of Nikki Haley as a candidate, and I think she's toast after the primaries, but I also think all this clabber about her response regarding the Civil War is way over done, and by Republicans.  The fact is the argument over the cause of the Civil War has been whether it as state rights issue, or slavery.   And the answer is? Yes!

States rights and secession wasn't just a Southern states issue.  In years earlier the New England states threatened to succeed over tariffs. But tariffs isn't a hot button issue, and probably not to most of the citizens in those states. But make no mistake, slavery was. Tariffs was an economic issue, but slavery was a moral issue of massive proportions.

So, was it a states right issue? Yes, but only slavery could have divided the Union. The United States was so unique in world history many believed, including many in the South, it was a creation of God, and only the issue of slavery could have triggered that disaster.

So then, we have to ask and answer this question to arrive at the correct answer. If slavery didn't exist in America would there have been a Civil War? The answer is No!

She admitted it was slavery, but the way she handled it shows a lack of depth, and ability. She should have given them a short history lesson and then moved on.  

 

Of course the real blame for this goes to Donald Trump.  And we know that must be true because MSNBC told us so. Right?

History is a paved walkway leading to the stepping stones of the future.  Without history we're walking through a foggy dark forest without direction.  That's a known quality, yet we see so many "leaders" taking a path that contravenes the all lessons of history.  Why?  Because they ignore the things they know and make up things they don't know.  In short, if it doesn't fit the leftist agenda and narrative, no matter how stupid that narrative may be, it's ignored.   But there are consequences for that.

 Let's start with California. 

Beginning today, Governor  Newsom is offering free health insurance  to anyone who gets there, including illegal immigrants, and that's who he's targeting. This expected expansion will directly impact American citizens of California, and there's no money to pay for it. 

In  L.A. County they believe in and practice "pandemic forever", mandating masks.  We now know masks don't work, that's now indisputable.  I said that from the beginning and got a lot of heat about it, yet time and truth are on the same side, and the bug man was right again.  Imagine that!

Crime in California is rampant, so what does California do?  They expanded their "Gun-Free Zones" in spite of the fact it violates the Supreme Court rulings in this issue.  As always, obedience to the Constitution and the Supreme Court is absolute for the left, unless either or both violate the sacred tenets of leftism, then the Tenth Amendment is supreme.  And with the left that's like a reversible jacket, they'll happily take the opposite tack when it suits them.  The moral foundation of leftism is as solid as quicksand.  This is also taking place in Washington state. 

• The Radical Left-Wing Laws Coming In 2024 Sarah Arnold  

As bad as prices for everything in California already are, the price of food is going to be like a missile attack.  Today, California's new animal welfare laws take effect, and since farmers out of the state of California wish to be in that market, they'll comply and that will impact food prices all over the nation. 

Green energy will bring 100 carbon neutral by 2045, but it won't bring electricity, which they're already having to buy from out of state producers, and doing so massively.  Prices on everything will go up. 

• California to become reliant on green energy and becoming 100 percent carbon neutral by 2045, thousands of workers will be hit with the high cost of electric-powered tools.  Starting next year, California will ban the sale of any gas-powered lawnmowers, leaf blowers, chainsaws, and yard care equipment.  Also in Michigan.   
• Mandates to stores to sell gender neutral toys, or else.
• No gas powered lawnmowers, leaf blowers, chainsaws, yard equipment, or appliances. 
  

And you had better not criticize California politicians like the Mayor of San Francisco who went full Mao.

Didn't Mao celebrate his 130th birthday this week?  That certainly seems to be what they were celebrating in San Francisco, where political goons aligned with London Mayor London Breed forced an Asian-American rapper to apologize, in the most grovelling way possible, for creating a rap video critical of Mayor Breed, on whose watch the city has turned into a dump.

She demanded an apology, and got it because of threats of violence by the black leadership in San Francisco.  And that's a surprise?  

California's leaders truly exemplify a kakistocracy, and the consequences of this? They're driving people, taxpaying people, out of the state.  For this year alone about 300,000 left California.  That was as predictable as night follows day.  

 The Biden administration is the major force behind this destructive effort that can only be called treasonous.  They're doing everything they can to destroy the coal, oil, natural gas suppliers in the nation.  Yet they've grovelled to Venezuela begging them to sell their high contamination oil to America.  How insane is that?  And now we see clearly insanity is infectious as the King of Jordan claims Palestinians are on the front lines of climate change.   No, they're on the front line for the genocide of Jews and Christians. 

At COP 28 world leaders pulsated in terror over the upcoming disaster of climate change, and how the world's security depended on dealing with it...and now!!!!  Canada is mandating that only zero-emission vehicles be sold by 2035. 

And that paragon of efficiency and competence, Pete Buttigieg claims America will be totally in on electric vehicles, even though no one is buying them.   The history of mandates and subsidies for the non traditional electricity industry has been bankruptcy.  Is there any reason to believe that will change in the future.  No!  As the author points out:

Electric Bus maker Proterra, a company Joe Biden lauded as the future, went bankrupt in 2022, going the way of Solyndra and many other Obama/Biden green fantasies, taking untold taxpayers billions with them.

We have government criminal agencies acting criminally, as now it's been proven the FBI has been abusing it authority targeting Catholics "as potential domestic terrorists,"  which the FBI called radical-traditionalist Catholics. Which they couldn't define, but if you're Catholic and you really like to old Latin mass, that's evidence of your radical potential for terrorism.  At least to the FBI.  

Educators are peddling porn in the schools, and the federal government is running a block for them. 

The Deep State has been working to sexualize children for decades; in recent years these efforts have become increasingly pathological.  Yes, parents have every right to protest books in schools that are plainly pornographic; these books are unsuitable for adults, much less for grade-school children.  This Book is Gay is available throughout the United States, and gives details on how to find homosexual partners online; its glossary provides the terms for “licking the bottom” and ingesting feces, and advises children about anal and oral sex.  Gender Queer includes photos of sexual acts between a boy and a man, and illustrations of masturbation and oral sex.  Beyond Magenta “includes passages about a six-year-old little boy performing oral sex on other little boys and talking to ‘pedophiles’ who masturbated in front of him.”  It also claims a 6-year-old “can enjoy performing oral sex on an adult” without it having anything to do with pedophilia.  There are countless other “award-winning best sellers” catering to depraved educators, but space is limited.

 Pope Francis has now given his imprimatur on same-sex marriage, saying:

Blessings require both “the right intention of those who participate” and “that what is blessed be objectively and positively ordered to receive and express grace, according to the designs of God inscribed in creation,” stated the text, published with the express approval of Pope Francis.

The Pope is getting a lot of kick back from Catholics around the world, including, Pope Benedict who it's claimed he's "bitterly disappointed" by Francis, and  Archbishop: Catholics Rebelling Against Church’s Pro-Migration Policies

 

America's foreign policies are so blatantly stupid it's mind boggling, and if there ever was evidence of historical ignorance Secretary of State Blinken is the perfect example, and truth be told, many Republicans aren't any better, like Senator Graham who claims Israel will "have" to accept a two state solution.  Really?  What if Hamas won't accept that?  Israel offered that in the past and it was rejected. That dog just won't hunt, and Graham is an idiot.  He's 68 years old and has been in the Senate since 2003, and he didn't learn anything in all those years!   How dumb can that man be?  Well, apparently they answer is there's no limit.  

We're seeing a real revolution taking place in America, and it's being conducted by the Biden Administration and the traitorous minions of the Deep State.  It's called unbridled illegal immigration, which is going to cause massive public health issues.  As Mike McDaniel notes in his article, Disease is diverse and inclusive too, saying:

The flood of illegal immigrants has brought with it human trafficking, rampant crime, known terrorists, sexual slavery, pedophilia, the drug deaths of hundreds of thousands of Americans, has enriched cartels beyond their wildest dreams and oh-so-much more. Another diverse and inclusive import is third-world diseases once all but eradicated in America. It’s becoming rather noticeable:... tuberculosis.....polio.....shigella......

And now all those arrogant, self righteous "sanctuary" Democrats are crying, this is a crisis, with Chicago mayor threatening the owners of busses and plane bringing these criminal to his city, a sanctuary city.   Now, that's really nervy, don't you think?

Well, Texas Gov. Abbott  thinks these 'sanctuary" hypocrites need to live up to their rhetoric, and keeps sending them to these cities and states, and now they're outraged.  Imagine that.  And who's fault is all of this?  Well, it's clearly Trump's fault, along with Republicans, MAGA "extremists", whites, and conservatives, but Joe Biden, the architect of this disaster is blameless.  After all, it's never the failure of leftists and their insane policies.    As the Church Lady on Saturday Night Live used to say when confronting hypocrisy:  Well, isn't that special? 

Oh, wait, I forgot, that was for conservative hypocrites, especially if they were Christians,  not leftist hypocrites, especially if they were heretics like Biden and Pelosi, or atheists.

But then again, can an atheist be a hypocrite?  Since they subscribe to no moral value, I guess not, and how many Democrat politicians are atheists?  I'm betting based on what they support and the way they act, it's most of them.  And the same question should be asked of journalists.  Hypocrisy isn't their problem, blatant corrupt is however. 

We're abandoning our obligations to our veterans who earned those benefits with their service, so many of them putting their lives on the line, and yet for decades they've catered to criminals.  Yes, that's what illegal aliens are, criminals.  And spending taxpayer dollars on ballroom dance programs to 'uplift transgender' youth in Peru. They can't afford to take care of our veterans yet these misfits are spending money like drunken sailors.  In Hawaii they spent $53.7 million dollars on a "temporary school".   How much would a permanent school cost? We're seeing the total destruction of the rule of law and abuse of the legal system, and judges are part and parcel of that corruption, as they twist know laws in ways unheard of to prevent Trump from running for President. 

 

More than a few Republicans are totally on board with that. Liz Cheney claims Donald Trump would destroy the Republic, and Paul Ryan caught trying to steer endorsements to Nikki Haley.  Mitt Romney has one passion, do everything he can to destroy Donald Trump.  Then there's  RINO New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu who claims Nikki Haley will win the New Hampshire primary over Trump because that's what he sees taking place in his state.  How conservative is this nitwit brigade?   Haley claims to be a "conservative Republican" has the same problem on abortion as she has on all issues.

She prefers tweaking over inflexibility, firmness, and clarity.  She can a tweak a little here, and tweak a little there, and the first thing you know we have another John Kasich, who declared he can define conservatism as he sees fit.  And his brand of conservatism fit right in with the tyrannical big government leftists.  So too would Haley if elected.  If that nitwit brigade is for her, no sane conservative could possibly be for her.

Vice President Kamala Harris still refuses to visit the southern border to witness the current crisis, despite being appointed to deal with border policy by President Joe Biden nearly 100 days ago. Harris is under fire for her border negligence not only by Republicans but by law enforcement and border patrol agents.

Former UN Ambassador Nikki Haley also took note of Harris’s negligence, calling the vice president’s failure to do the job that she was assigned by Biden “embarrassing.”

“Kamala Harris was given one job. One job. And that was to deal with the border. And any leader knows you can’t fix what you can’t see. She hasn’t been on the ground. She hasn’t talked to the border patrol. She doesn’t know what is happening there,” Haley said on Fox News’s America Reports. “This is the same woman who literally tweeted out ‘Come one, come all, we’re open for business,’ so all you have to do is look at that. You know what says ‘don’t come?’ when you show up at the border. Actions speak louder than words. I don’t know what her fear of the border is, but clearly she has one.”

 Harris’s most recent comment that received backlash was likening her overdue visit to the southern border, embattled in humanitarian and national security crises, to a visit to Europe. The vice president has no scheduled trips to the border thus far.

Just Say No to Nikki! was posted on Townhall.com by Kurt Schlichter Apr 26, 2021, which is a partial subscription site, so if you're not a subscriber, the link won't do much.  Also, there's a video, which I didn't watch.  If a guy can't shave, put on a shirt and tie, or at least put on a nice shirt, to do his weekly update video....it irritates me.  

However, he's got humor, and I think he has a point.  It's not 2005, and now real conservatives get it.  This "let's stiff these conservative rubes for contributions" with tough talking America first kind of stuff no longer fools the "rubes"! 

He says:

Nikki Haley and Bruce/Caitlyn Jenner going around Twitter, and people are going "Ugh." She's terrible. She's the worst. And I want you to assume whenever I say Nikki Haley that there's an exclamation point (Nikki!) because she is Jeb! in a skirt. And Bruce/Caitlyn Jenner is also Jeb! in a skirt. Apparently, he's running in the California recall because we need more novelty acts...... And I'm tired of novelty acts..........it's so annoying.

Here's the part that should resonate with real conservatives:

First, we have to understand history is the paved pathway leading to the future, and we've been there with the hysteria blather before.  We've been given outrageous predictions over and over again, whether it's Global Warming or a pandemic, the patterns are always the same.  

Please get this once and for all.  Computer modeling isn't science. Statistics isn't science.  Epidemiology isn't science.  All of that is educated speculation - guess work - and has a place in science, but it's not science.  They're merely components of science,.  Science must be observable, recordable and repeatable.  Statistical guesswork isn't science, and entirely too often it's actually politics.  And it was in this case also. 

Get this once and for all.  The patterns of life repeat over and over again, but you must be able to see the patterns, but that takes more than a casual glance at history, because history has depth, and in that depth is truth.  It's also imperative we pay attention to the actions of people in positions of power and responsibility, past and present, because they lie.  Their unending theme:  "Who you gonna believe, me or your lying eyes?" 

 

The Coup de Grâce for Nikki Haley’s Presidential Aspirations

“I don’t think he’s going to be in the picture. I don’t think he can. He’s fallen so far.” Thus spoke Nikki Haley -- former South Carolina governor, former ambassador to the UN, and now presidential aspirant -- exposing once again her self-serving bona fides. In denigrating Donald Trump, the establishment Republican ended up revealing to Trump’s loyal base of 75-80 million supporters just how much she is motivated by opportunism. Also, just how out of touch she is with the rank and file.

Haley’s betrayal of President Trump took the form of a forceful condemnation: “We need to acknowledge he let us down. He went down a path he shouldn’t have, and we shouldn’t have followed him, and we shouldn’t have listened to him again.  And we can’t let that ever happen again.” The timing of the tirade couldn’t have been more opportune: for maximum political effect, she released it just before Trump’s legal team presented his defense.

Making common cause with Democrats and disaffected Republicans, she held Trump responsible for the January 6th Capitol riot, disingenuously telling members of the Republican National Committee that the president “will be harshly judged by history.” Does she believe her own words, or is this political theater? 

She was surely privy to Trump’s several recordings, importuning followers “to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard.” She would also have been aware of other events that exonerated Trump from the false charges of fomenting a so-called “insurrection.” Many publications reported that planning for the Capitol attack occurred openly online for weeks.Known Antifa members disguised in MAGA attire played a part in the riots, as did at least one prominent Black Lives Matter activist. 

Despite knowing this, she chose to blame the president for political advantage.

Haley gratuitously stated that she’s “deeply disturbed” by Trump’s actions since the election, adding, “The person that I worked with is not the person that I have watched since the election.” She gave no credence to evidence of election fraud but made this insidious statement: “I understand that genuinely, to his core, he believes he was wronged.”..........To Read More.....

Nikki Haley smacks down cowardly Comrade Ocasio-Cortez over Venezuela

Pompeo: 'Ignorant’ and ‘Disgusting' for Rep. Omar to Blame US for Venezuela's Problems

Rep. Ilhan Omar, a far-left, first-term politician from Minnesota, has once again waded into controversy by blaming the United States for the problems in Venezuela.

On Thursday night, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo called her remarks "ignorant” and “disgusting."

My Take - Just when you begin think it's not possible for this woman to be any more stupid, she proves beyond any shadow of a doubt - it is possible.  Nikki Haley said about Venezuela and Omar's stunningly stupid comments:  “The [average] Venezuelan adult has lost 24 lbs. Babies have no medicine. Families have to walk miles in the heat to get the only meal they may have that day,” Haley tweeted at Omar. “All [because] of the corrupt Maduro regime. Your comments are so far from the truth. Cuba and Russia appreciate your support.”
