How do we know what truth is? -  December 16, 2023 By Bob Weir - The media sure make it hard to find  the answer.  We all get our news from media sources, be it television, print, or internet platforms.  What we see, read, or hear is our way of being informed on the issues we care about, and some we have no interest in.  We’re not able to be on the scene of an incident; thus, our only way of knowing that it occurred is by getting it from a news source.  When a homicide is reported on a breaking news story, we listen closely to the details because our attention has been aroused.  If it’s another street crime in a large urban area, we may change the channel because we’ve heard it numerous times before.  However, if it’s a story about a white cop killing a black man during an arrest situation, we tune in closely, anticipating the usual racially divisive commentary...............To Read More

A Shameful Ruling Class that Shamelessly Shames Good Americans - December 11, 2023  By J.B. Shurk - America is not meant to have a “ruling class.”  The Declaration of Independence takes direct aim at an entrenched aristocracy by stating a “self-evident” truth that “all men are created equal.”  People, of course, are not naturally equal.  They are blessed with individual talents and carry through their lives individual burdens, but no person is born with a divine right to rule over others.  On the contrary, through God’s gifts of life and liberty to each one of us, we are capable of governing ourselves.  That is harder than it sounds because self-government is a responsibility that requires work and vigilance.  Unscrupulous individuals intent on seizing greater power for themselves take advantage of self-government’s labors by promising to do the heavy lifting for others in exchange for their liberty.  I’ll protect you.  I’ll keep you safe and secure.  I’ll make you happy.  Just do exactly what I say.  It is a Faustian bargain that has led generations of once-free peoples to discover only years later that they have been left imprisoned in chains......

Scotland to Put ’Trans’ Inmates in Female Prisons — Even if Convicted of Violence Against Women! - Kurt Zindulka - The Scottish Prison Service has issued guidance saying that biological males who identify as women, including some with a history of violence against women, should be placed in female-only jails in order to allow them to spend time around people of their “affirmed gender”.  Transgender criminals should be “provided the opportunity and supported to work towards” serving their prison sentence in a jail that “aligns with their affirmed gender,” the Scottish Prison Service (SPS) said according to the Scottish Daily Express...............The prison service said that even biological males with a history of violence, including sexual offences, against women should be given the opportunity to be placed in a female prison if there was “compelling” evidence that they no longer presented “an unacceptable risk of harm”.  Even for those who are deemed to be too dangerous to be housed alongside female inmates..............

Surrendering our U.S. military to the illegal invaders - December 11, 2023 By M.B. Mathews - Migrants here illegally (let’s call them “illegrants” for brevity’s sake) are now welcome in the U.S. military, and in fact, are being encouraged to enlist, all expenses paid, of course. This is no different than turning our military over to the enemy. Fox News reports:................With the influx of upwards of 12,000 illegrants in one day, most of them military-age males, and with the reluctance of native-born Americans to join a pronoun-intensive drag-woke military, our brass is finding it hard to keep and get American males to enlist—because the latter just don’t believe in what the wokesters have done to our military. At least our citizens care about the country, but do the brass? Illegrants certainly don’t care about wokeness and will sign up in a heartbeat to get those three hots and a cot, and maybe even learn a trade. What have they got to lose?.............

Democrats pushing for ever younger voters -  December 11, 2023  By Eric Utter - Massachusetts congresswoman and ‘Squad’ member Ayanna Pressley held a press conference recently to announce that she is pushing to allow incarcerated persons and people as young as 16 to vote. (I am sure, however, that she would exempt President Trump from that largess should he ultimately be locked up by his political rivals.) Some have pushed for the minimum voting age to be lowered to 12. A few folks even believe there should be no legal minimum age to vote. Or, put another way, the minimum voting age should be zero! Not kidding........

What in the world are you committing to when you swear in on erotic quasi-fiction for pederasts and groomers?  Well, I can’t answer that question, but Karen Smith, an incumbent school board president for Central Bucks School District in Doylestown, Pennsylvania sure could! Last week, Smith was reelected to “serve” as head of the board, and instead of ceremoniously swearing in on a Bible, she opted for a stack of “banned” books, including at least three controversial items given their explicit and pornographic LGBTQ++ content.............

Pardoe - The resignation of the University of Pennsylvania’s president Liz Magill for misspeaking before a congressional committee regarding university anti-Semitism is further evidence that the woke movement on campus is out of control. The presidents of Harvard and MIT should also face either suspension or removal as well, if only for the symbolic effect such acts create. Along with many other university leaders, they have administered a culture of arrogance, violence, threats, and intimidation on their campuses.  This goes far beyond the three universities that went before Congress last week.   The wave of hate coming from colleges is far from new. What makes it different is that it is getting media exposure. Having interviewed conservative students on woke campuses, I can assure you that the hate has been there for years. Students have told me of being shoved, intimidated, and taunted on college campuses. When they turned to the universities for protection, they were dismissed, the same as Jewish students today: “These people are just expressing their views.” The colleges and universities suddenly found copies of the Constitution and supported the First Amendment.....................

The federal government has already piled another $383 billion onto the debt so far into the 2024 fiscal year, which began on October 1..............Throughout the last 15 to 20 years, the national debt has steadily risen under the leadership of lawmakers from both political parties.  Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell........started as GOP leader in January 2007 when the national debt was approximately $9 trillion.  The national debt is now fast approaching $34 trillion, according to the most recent U.S. Treasury Department data, meaning it has gone up by $25 trillion since McConnell became leader of the Senate Republicans........Last week, for the first time in history, the national debt averaged $100,000 per every American, a once unthinkable burden................

 Biden’s TSA Designates Special Airport Screening Line for Migrants Without Required ID - Randy Clark, Breitbart, December 9, 2023-  No borders at the airport either.  Migrants recently released by the Border Patrol waited patiently to board flights leaving the region at the Tucson International Airport on Friday afternoon. The event marks their last day on the southwest border and their first day of free movement across the United States.  Despite the firm requirements for United States citizens and legally admitted international travelers to possess valid forms of identification to board aircraft, the migrants were shuffled through a “special” security screening line set up by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), specifically for migrants — many without any identification whatsoever.  As Breitbart Texas watched, several regular travelers were politely told to exit the special “migrant security line” because they were not non-citizens. The migrants traveling on Friday carried manila envelopes that contained a Notice to Appear and documents showing the migrants were released from federal custody on their own recognizance.........

The White House Sure Is Appreciative of Mitt Romney - Rebecca Downs  December 11, 2023 - Sen. Mitt Romney (R-UT) is only in office for about another year, and it sure looks like he's using his time to frustrate fellow Republicans while helping out President Joe Biden and the Democrats. On Sunday, the senator appeared on NBC News' "Meet the Press," during which he was asked about evidence for an impeachment inquiry against the president...........Although he stammered a bit with his response, Romney claimed he had not. "No. I--I--I don't see any evidence of that at all. I think before you begin an impeachment inquiry, you ought to have some evidence, some inclination that there's been wrongdoing. And so far, there's nothing of that nature that's been provided," he shared.............The senator was one of seven Republicans to vote to convict Trump in his second impeachment, with the trial not taking place until he had already left office and Biden had been sworn in. Romney also made history when for Trump's first impeachment trial in January of 2020 he became the first senator to vote to convict a president of his own party. ...........

More importantly, where is the backbone of those that know right from wrong and why aren’t these incredibly ridiculous ideas, rules and mandates being stomped out by any means possible.......... Swamp thing Fiona Hill claims Republicans just want Joe Biden to fail on Ukraine - December 13, 2023 By Monica Showalter -Democrats blaming Republicans for not handing over another $61 billion in aid to Ukraine in a now-debated $106 billion supplemental security package in Congress. They're going chicken little and saying the sky will fall if they don't hand it over exactly the way the Democrats want it handed over................... The Republicans are being reasonable here, and no, it's not personal. Biden is perfectly capable of failing on his own, he doesn't need Republicans to help him. My Take:  When you read what these "leaders" of the Republican party are saying now you begin to realize just how deceptive they were over the years, especially when people like Hill who were running for President of the United States.  What's wrong with their minds?  Maybe nothing!  Maybe it really is all about the money.  Money that Trump will most likely dry up.   If that's the case, and I think it is, then there's nothing wrong with their minds, it's their moral compass, which has no idea which way is north.  

As for this next post regarding McCarthy and Gaetz, this last sucker punch absolutely highlights what a cad he really was.  By resigning before his term is up he potentially jeopardizes the Republican majority in the House, and he doesn't care.  he was all about himself not caring for the nation, the Congress, or the nation.  And he says Gaetz is crazy. 

Kevin McCarthy and Matt Gaetz's Rift Continues On  Sarah Arnold - December 15, 2023 - Former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA.) took shots at fellow Republicans during his exit interview, particularly at Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL.).  While talking to reporters, McCarthy said that Gaetz was "psychotic," blaming the Florida Republican for his ouster as Speaker.  The two Republican firebrands have consistently attacked each other throughout their time in Congress. 

McCarthy said that the FBI studies mind like Gaetz's, adding that he has a "crazy mind." He referred to when Gaetz demanded that the threshold to bring a motion to vacate be brought down to one member, a request McCarthy gave in to, which led to his ejection. In response to McCarthy's remarks, Gaetz said his thoughts and prayers are with him.  "We had a process. He was removed. He then chose to take his ball and go home, reducing our majority. Kevin's premature departure shows it was only ever about personal power to him," Gaetz said.  The former Speaker is resigning from the House before the end of the year rather than serving the remainder of his term, ending his 17-year tenure in Congress. .............
