My Gazette: Trump Derangement Syndrome on Parade

I save an inordinate number of articles dealing with every issue facing humanity.  I save them with the intention to use them in my own commentaries as source material.  But, after a while my draft files get really big and while I still want to have that materiel for reference, I have to purge those files.  So, I've decided to start a weekly series of Gazettes.  I will be publishing a "Gazette" dealing with each issue regularly, and I will insert "My Take " along the way.  Draft file purged, material saved. 

Warming: Some of these draft articles may go aways back, and while that may be tiresome, it will also lay out a historical pattern.

Reiner: Voting for Trump Will Cause U.S. to ‘Slip into Fascism’ - Pam Key 21 Nov 2023 -  Filmmaker Rob Reiner said Tuesday on MSNBC’s “The Beat” that voting for former President Donald Trump in 2024 will cause the United States to “slip into fascism.” Reiner said, “Last segment you talked about how young people are confused. They don’t like Trump, they don’t like Biden, they can’t decide who they want to vote for. But I’m trying to impress upon people as best I can that every time we have a presidential election, they always say, this is the most important election of our lifetime, they’re tired of it, this one actually is.”

Deranged Democrats Claim Trump Will Be a Dictator- It is looking bleak for President Joe Biden and the Democrats. All the latest polls show Biden losing to President Donald Trump in a rematch of the 2020 election. For example, the new Wall Street Journal poll shows Trump leading Biden 47-43%. It is Trump’s first lead over Biden in this poll. When third party candidates, such as Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., are included, Trump’s lead increases to a six point margin. Not only is Biden losing to Trump in the poll, but he is also suffering from the worst approval rating of his presidency at only 37%...............

 

Not ‘Trump the Dictator’ Again - By Victor Davis Hanson - The Left projects itself onto Trump, and understandably finds itself all too terrifying.  It is “Trump Will Destroy Democracy” season again. And predictably the Left has gone hysterical, after experiencing a trifecta of frightening 2024 news. One, current polls in the primaries and in a general election for now show that Trump would win. Meanwhile, Joe Biden’s popularity dives below 40 percent. His policies on the economy, abroad, at the border, concerning crime, and about energy poll even more feebly. Never has an American president utterly and deliberately destroyed immigration law for the sole purpose of inviting in millions of illegal aliens, to establish political constituencies supportive of agendas that otherwise have scant public support.......
