Trump Derangement Syndrome

By Rich Kozlovich

Political Sabotage: The Democrats’ Obstruction of Trump’s Foreign Policy Wins - After securing a strong base of support in the 2024 election, Donald Trump is positioning himself for a renewed push in foreign policy — an area that his supporters argue has deteriorated under recent Democrat direction. With growing global instability and concerns about America’s waning influence abroad, many see Trump’s return as an opportunity to reassert U.S. strength on the world stage. Citing what they view as failures in diplomacy, deterrence, and global leadership under the Biden administration, Trump’s supporters anticipate a more forceful, deal-driven approach that prioritizes national interest and restores America’s negotiating power............. More

Democrats nothing more than contrarians to Trump In an amusing twist, many Democrats have come out against President Trump’s plan to cut prescription drug prices, raising the distinct possibility that there is nothing — absolutely nothing—that Trump could propose of which they would approve.......I firmly believe if Trump came out fervently against painful rectal itch, Lyme Disease, and the repeated clubbing of baby seals over the head with a large mallet, Democrats would immediately and zealously defend these things-- and add them to their party’s platform for the 2026 midterm elections and beyond........ More

Will the Supreme Court Succumb to Democratic Party Pressure? - Voters in 2024 gave Trump a mandate to execute his agenda. At the top of that agenda is the deportation of millions of people who entered the country illegally but were enabled by what amounted to treason by the Biden administration. Many of these illegal aliens present significant threats to national security and public safety. Democrats are using the court system to block Trump from doing a job that needs to be done.

Democrats wanting to throw a monkey wrench into Trump’s agenda have been able to “forum shop” by seeking out sympathetic district court judges most likely to block the president’s actions. By issuing nationwide injunctions against Trump’s executive orders, these rogue judges have effectively shut down the executive branch of the federal government. “Since Trump took office,” said Texas rep. August Pfluger, “activist judges in district courts have aggressively blocked his executive actions. The fact that an unelected lower court judge can micromanage the commander-in-chief should trouble every single American.”.........  More

Trump Impeachment Syndrome

By Rich Kozlovich

Let's talk about Rep. Shri Thanedar, another Democrat who seemingly has gone over the sanity cliff suffering from the Trump Impeachment Syndrome, and mental condition predicated on Trump Derangement Syndrome.  Or does he have other motives behind his actions?

Andrea Widburg, one of my favorite writers, published this article yesterday, The man behind the newest Articles of Impeachment against Trump, saying, "he’s a colorful character, and I don’t mean that in a good way."

Rep. Shri Thanedar is not alone in this mental disorder.  Georgia Sen. Jon Ossoff told a town hall crowd that Trump “has already exceeded any prior standard for impeachment” because of his meme coin contest, and Little Chuckie Schumer, who apparently thinks he's still the majority leader in the Senate is on board.

Andrea goes on to list Thanedar's claims that justify impeaching Trump, and they're all nonsense, just as all the other impeachment scams the Democrats promoted.

But the hits just keep right on coming.

It appears he has some serious financial issues, potentially involving fraud.   Wow! A corrupt Democrat politician trying to hide his corruption by trying to destroy someone else. Imagine that. I keep seeing this pattern and wonder if it ever occurred to them if they’d just keep their mouths shut no one would have noticed? This failed pattern of thinking is ubiquitous among all on the left. All now thinkers.  All failures at long range thinking.  All embracing the con.
If Joe Biden hadn’t become President would all of his crime family corruption come to light?    If Letitia James hadn't been such a disgrace as New York's Attorney General would her corruption have come to light?  Would Fani Willis have been exposed for her corruption?  And the pattern plays out over and over again.

Will the Pravda media take notice of all this?  Nah, they've ignored the financial dealings of the Clinton clan for decades, but crossed every "t" and dotted every "i" involving anything Trump was involved with.  If a legitimate investigation was held I'm guessing..... just guessing mind you ......  the big difference would be Trump would be found innocent and the Clinton's would be in jail.

Andrea quoted Saul Alinsky saying:

in his Rules for Radicals, warned that “A tactic that drags on too long becomes a drag.” Democrats would do well to heed that advice when it comes to Donald Trump. Having unsuccessfully tried twice to impeach him, they’re still invested in impeachment.

What this may really be all about a "political move and more of a fundraising stunt and a way to deflect attention from possibly problematic financial moves", and he's potentially facing a serious challenge in his district in the next election, which lends credibility to that thinking.

Here's more about his shady character and actions, along with a host of other "ethnic" politicians who are trying to turn America into the countries they left.

Dems are in a mess... due to TDS

By Joe Fried CPA Jul 3 @ Joe Fried CPA Election Central

These are troubled days for Democrats, with a disastrous debate on Thursday, some adverse court rulings on Friday, and now an immunity ruling that did not go their way at all. So this might be a good time to consider how they got into such a mess. I would say it all began with Hillary Clinton and Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS).

In 2016, Democrats were extremely confident that Hillary would demolish Trump in the presidential election. When she didn’t, the shock was huge, and many Democrats instantly lost their minds.

TDS became a widespread Democrat epidemic, and Hillary intensified the virus by funding the Russia peeing prostitute hoax. It was her way of deflecting blame for losing what should have been an easy victory. By the way, the Hillary campaign and the Democratic Party faced no criminal charges for the $1 million plus they gave to finance the dossier smears against Trump. They were merely fined by the FEC. Contrast that with Trump’s 34 felony convictions.

The deep state did its part by having the FBI spy on Trump campaign advisors Carter Page, George Papadopoulis, and Sam Clovis. In addition, FBI agent Kevin Clinesmith pled guilty to altering an email that facilitated renewal of the spy warrant. Later, Alexander Vindman, an advisor on the National Security Council, pompously testified about Trump’s phone call with Ukrainian President Zelenskyy. Trump’s crime? Asking Zelenskyy to let our DOJ know of any corruption associated with Joe Biden’s threats concerning the Ukrainian prosecutor who had been investigating Burisma Holdings (and Hunter). I guess Vindman and the Democrats think an American president has no right to inquire about corruption.

The rest of Trump’s presidency was filled with media falsehoods, designed to brand him as a stupid, racist, misogynist war monger. According to CNN and MSNBC, Trump had dreams of being just like Vladimir Putin or Kim Jong Un. The evidence? There was none.

When it was time for Democrats to pick a candidate for the 2020 election, the leadership strong-armed the party faithful by picking the guy who had lost the first 3 primaries and/or caucuses. They did that because Bernie Sanders (who was leading at that point) was likely to lose against Trump, and Biden was the only other candidate widely known. A big name was needed to defeat the orange menace, so Representative Jim Clyburn strongly endorsed Biden in the South Carolina primary. He did that even though it was already known that Hunter had used Daddy’s VP status to obtain lucrative employment with a Ukrainian energy company. Once Biden won in South Carolina, he was on his way to winning the nomination.

To ensure victory in 2020, Democrats began planning for massive ballot harvesting in the swing states. Hundreds of lawsuits were filed — each designed to chip away at the election controls that had been enacted by the state legislatures. The goal was to facilitate ballot harvesting, and make it less detectible. The harvesting plans were turbo charged by COVID, which was the excuse for extensive mass mailing of ballots, and even more dismantling of election controls.

We have a pretty good estimate of the magnitude of this cheating, thanks to True the Vote, the organization behind the 2000 Mules movie. Here are some of their estimates:

Ballot harvesting in the 6 key swing states was particularly easy because those states did not require the voter to provide ID. Nevertheless, Democrats worried that some of the phony ballots might be detected by means of signature matching (signatures on ballot envelopes are matched to those in registration records). To eliminate that problem, Michigan, Georgia, and Pennsylvania scrapped signature matching, although they did it in different ways.

  • In Michigan, the Secretary of State declared that employees were to “presume” signatures on ballot envelopes matched those in registration records. A few months after the 2020 election, a judge ruled that Secretary Benson acted illegally.
  • In Pennsylvania, the state Supreme Court declared that a voter’s ballot could not be rejected simply because his signature didn’t match. The voter could sign as “Mickey Mouse.” It didn’t matter.
  • In Georgia, the largest county, Fulton, did not attempt to match signatures at all. Since the vast majority of Fulton voters are Democrats, the absence of signature matching in Fulton probably won the state for Biden.

In those 3 states there were millions of mail-in voters, with no ID, and no signature matching. Was that enough to ensure a Democrat victory? Not necessarily. To be certain of winning, Democrats in key counties took one more step: They prevented observation by Republican poll challengers. In Wayne County (Detroit) and Fulton County (Atlanta) they verbally and physically threatened the observers. In Philadelphia County the state Supreme Court ruled that observers could be kept at least 15 to 18 feet from the processing tables. That made observation impossible.

So, Biden “won,” if you want to call it winning, and Trump knew he had been defrauded. He filed many lawsuits, but judges wanted him to identify the specific fraudulent ballots. That was almost impossible because the standards needed to identify those phony ballots had been eliminated months before the election took place.

At that point, Joe Biden was in the driver’s seat. To be a successful president, all he needed to do was maintain the policies Trump had in place, and show people that he was nicer than the mean billionaire bully. However, that did not happen, thanks to TDS.

The hatred of Trump was so great that Biden felt the need to prove his disdain by dismantling any program associated with Trump — even programs that were obviously important and working. As we all know, the results were disastrous, and this led to even more Dem insanity.

Joe’s approval rating became so low that the party worried that Trump would beat him in 2024 — no matter how many ballots were harvested, and no matter how much they claimed he was a “threat to Democracy.” Perhaps the Democrat leadership tried to talk Biden into leaving, but he refused. Or perhaps his puppet masters (Jill? Barack?) refused to let Joe Biden retire. In any event, Democrats rolled out a new strategy: lawfare.

It sounded like the perfect plan. Get a hired gun, Jack Smith, to indict and then convict Trump before the election. That would prove to the public that Trump was a very bad man and a true threat to Democracy. At the same time, use friendly county prosecutors in Democrat strongholds to produce similar charges against Trump and his supporters.

That brings us to the present day — a sad one for Democrats. The lawfare has backfired spectacularly. People see through it, and many realize that the Democrats are the true threat to Democracy. The disillusioned include committed Democrats, like Alan Dershowitz and Jonathan Turley, and thousands more. They seem to recognize that their party has lost its way, as well as its integrity. Perhaps they won’t become Republicans but I doubt they want to remain with a political party that has gone mad — with TDS.

News From Up North

B y Rich Kozlovich

Editor's Note:  I originally published this on Nov 17, 2016 saying, "this was sent to me via e-mail with no link to it's origin, so I have no idea who originated this.   Having said that, I really I got a good smarmy little chuckle out it and I thought most of my readers would also, so I decided to post it.  If anyone has a link to whomever originated this missive please send it to me.".  In light of events surrounding the 2024 election, I think it's more than applicable now.  RK

The flood of Trump-fearing American liberals sneaking across the border into Canada has intensified in the past week. News of the results of the Presidential election is prompting an exodus among left-leaning Americans who fear they'll soon be required to work, pray, pay taxes, and live according to the Constitution.

Canadian border residents say it's not uncommon to see dozens of sociology professors, liberal arts majors, global-warming activists, and "green" energy proponents crossing their fields at night.

"I went out to milk the cows the other day, and there was a Hollywood producer huddled in the barn," said southern Manitoba farmer Red Greenfield, whose acreage borders North Dakota . "He was cold, exhausted and hungry, and begged me for a latte and some free-range chicken. When I said I didn't have any, he left before I even got a chance to show him my screenplay, eh?"

In an effort to stop the illegal aliens, Greenfield erected higher fences, but the liberals scaled them. He then installed loudspeakers that blared Rush Limbaugh across the fields, but they just stuck their fingers in their ears and kept coming. Officials are particularly concerned about smugglers who meet liberals just south of the border, pack them into electric cars, and drive them across the border, where they are simply left to fend for themselves after the battery dies.

"A lot of these people are not prepared for our rugged conditions," an Alberta border patrolman said. "I found one carload without a single bottle of Perrier water, or any gemelli with shrimp and arugula. All they had was a nice little Napa Valley cabernet and some kale chips. When liberals are caught, they're sent back across the border, often wailing that they fear persecution from a Trump administration.

Rumors are circulating about plans being made to build re-education camps where liberals will be forced to drink domestic beer, study the Constitution, and find jobs that actually contribute to the economy.

In recent days, liberals have turned to ingenious ways of crossing the border. Some have been disguised as senior citizens taking a bus trip to buy cheap Canadian prescription drugs. After catching a half-dozen young vegans in blue-hair wig disguises, Canadian immigration authorities began stopping buses and quizzing the supposed senior citizens about Perry Como and Rosemary Clooney to prove that they were alive in the '50s. "If they can't identify the accordion player on The Lawrence Welk Show, we become very suspicious about their age," an official said.

Canadian citizens have complained that the illegal immigrants are creating an organic-broccoli shortage, are buying up all the Barbara Streisand CD's, and are overloading the internet while downloading jazzercise apps to their cell phones.

"I really feel sorry for American liberals, but the Canadian economy just can't support them," an Ottawa resident said. "After all, how many art-history majors does one country need?

My Gazette: Trump Derangement Syndrome on Parade

By Rich Kozlovich

I save an inordinate number of articles dealing with every issue facing humanity.  I save them with the intention to use them in my own commentaries as source material.  But, after a while my draft files get really big and while I still want to have that materiel for reference, I have to purge those files.  So, I've decided to start a weekly series of Gazettes.  I will be publishing a "Gazette" dealing with each issue regularly, and I will insert "My Take " along the way.  Draft file purged, material saved.

Warming: Some of these draft articles may go aways back, and while that may be tiresome, it will also lay out a historical pattern.

Let's start here:

Luttig: ‘We Will Never Recover as a Nation’ from Trump - Pam Key Retired Federal Judge J. Michael Luttig said Tuesday on MSNBC’s “Deadline” that he believes the United States will “never recover” from the damage done by former President Donald Trump. Guest host Alicia Menendez said, “We often talk about the damage Donald Trump and Trumpism has done to institutions, to our governing bodies. Talk to me about the damage that you believe has been done to the judicial system and to the legal profession.....

Reiner: Voting for Trump Will Cause U.S. to ‘Slip into Fascism’ - Pam Key Filmmaker Rob Reiner said Tuesday on MSNBC’s “The Beat” that voting for former President Donald Trump in 2024 will cause the United States to “slip into fascism.” Reiner said, “Last segment you talked about how young people are confused. They don’t like Trump, they don’t like Biden, they can’t decide who they want to vote for. But I’m trying to impress upon people as best I can that every time we have a presidential election, they always say, this is the most important election of our lifetime, they’re tired of it, this one actually is.”

My Take - Meathead!

Nolte: Joe Scarborough Says Donald Trump ‘Will Execute’ People if Reelected - John Nolte The rolling garbage fire that is far-left NBC News rolled right along Tuesday when a hysterically dishonest Joe Scarborough assured the world that, if reelected, former President Donald Trump will “execute” people — as in have them murdered........

Joe Biden supporters had an especially paranoid couple of days - November 21, 2023 By Olivia MurrayIt’s amazing that this man was once a congressman, because he clearly has zero understanding of both political philosophies and the American political system—for the umpteenth time, fascism is a leftist ideology and America was never supposed to be a democracy—and on a recently-broadcast televised MSNBC segment, Joe Scarborough issued an ominous warning: if President Trump secures a second term, he will “imprison” and “execute” any and all political opponents that he can............

Federal Appeals Court Panel Blasts Judge Chutkan, Signals it will Narrow Trump’s Unconstitutional Gag Order - 716 Comments - A federal appeals court on Monday signaled it would partially grant President Trump’s request to remove his gag order in Jack Smith’s bogus election interference case. Trump’s lawyers have been fighting Chutkan’s gag order since she first imposed it last month. Earlier this month President Trump filed an appeal brief on Judge Tanya Chutkan’s gag order. Trump argued Chutkan’s gag order is broad, vague and violates his First Amendment rights. On October 20, Judge Chutkan agreed to temporarily pause her own gag order in the DOJ’s January 6 case while Trump and Jack Smith submit appeal briefs.......

Trump’s Social Media Platform ‘Truth Social’ Files Massive Defamation Lawsuit Against Twenty “Fake News” Media Outlets - In a significant legal escalation, the Trump Media & Technology Group, the parent company of the social media platform Truth Social, has filed an unprecedented defamation lawsuit against twenty far-left media outlets. The lawsuit, announced on Monday, targets a series of reports that the company alleges falsely claimed it suffered tens of millions in losses. The announcement comes as X filed a lawsuit against left-wing Media Matters. The tide is turning. “Today Truth Social filed a defamation lawsuit that is likely unprecedented in history, incorporating twenty publications—and even more may be added. All of them published the same false information about Truth Social and refused to fully retract their stories. To the Fake News outlets that think themselves above accountability: we’ll see you in court,” the social media company announced on its platform................

Antisemitic Nazi-imitating leftists scream that Trump is Hitler -  November 16, 2023 By D. Parker - Like scam artists everywhere, leftists and the nation’s socialist media (but that’s being repetitive and redundant) are well practiced in the art of deception and misdirection in deceiving people about what is happening right in front of their faces.  While one hand is waving clickbait around to catch the eye, the other is quickly hiding away what they don’t want everyone to see. Anti-liberty leftists have been out in the streets everywhere acting like a certain national socialist organization that had antisemitism as one of its core beliefs along with the collectivist ideal of Common Good Before Individual Good (Gemeinnutz vor Eigennutz in the original German), screaming slogans that were all too common even back in Bavaria in 1922 from a “swashbuckling little politician“ and his manure-colored mob...........

Jack Smith Compares Himself to a 'Saint' During Court Briefings Against Trump - Sarah Arnold - Special Counsel Jack Smith compared himself to a "saint" while describing former President Trump's court briefings.   Smith's office "asked an appeals court to impose a gag order on Donald Trump after he attacked special counsel Jack Smith and his family in a speech last week." ..............

Christie: Second Trump Administration Likely to Be Staffed by ‘Deranged Sycophants’ - Pam Key Former Gov. Chris Christie (R-NJ), a candidate for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination, said Monday on “The Hugh Hewitt Show” that a second Donald Trump administration would likely be staffed by “deranged sycophants.” Partial transcript as follows:................

My Take - Deranged and Chris Christi appearing in the same sentence.  That's appropriate.

Deranged Democrats Claim Trump Will Be a Dictator- It is looking bleak for President Joe Biden and the Democrats. All the latest polls show Biden losing to President Donald Trump in a rematch of the 2020 election. For example, the new Wall Street Journal poll shows Trump leading Biden 47-43%. It is Trump’s first lead over Biden in this poll. When third party candidates, such as Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., are included, Trump’s lead increases to a six point margin. Not only is Biden losing to Trump in the poll, but he is also suffering from the worst approval rating of his presidency at only 37%...............

Not ‘Trump the Dictator’ Again - By Victor Davis Hanson - The Left projects itself onto Trump, and understandably finds itself all too terrifying.  It is “Trump Will Destroy Democracy” season again. And predictably the Left has gone hysterical, after experiencing a trifecta of frightening 2024 news. One, current polls in the primaries and in a general election for now show that Trump would win. Meanwhile, Joe Biden’s popularity dives below 40 percent. His policies on the economy, abroad, at the border, concerning crime, and about energy poll even more feebly. Never has an American president utterly and deliberately destroyed immigration law for the sole purpose of inviting in millions of illegal aliens, to establish political constituencies supportive of agendas that otherwise have scant public support.......

The 2024 Election, Democrat Corruption, and the Trump Derangement Syndrome

By Rich Kozlovich

I posted this article, Knives Out: Left Moves to Disqualify Trump, by To show just how unhinged these people are a "MSNBC columnist Dean Obeidallah claims Donald Trump "must die in prison" to "protect the Democratic Republic."'

'If you oppose us, you’re going to jail for a long time'!  And this persecution of Donald Trump is part and parcel of that entire corrupt package.  What's the corrupt package?  A police state where no opposition will be tolerated to their destruction of America.

Strategic Lawsuit Against Public Participation.  While SLAPP is a civil issue to silence opponents, Lawfare is a criminal version of that to crush individuals or groups by attempting to imprison them and bankrupt them at the same time.  Socialist imposed tyranny via the corrupt judiciary of the federal government, and  Judge Tanya Chutkan, is a perfect example of that corruption.  She's a known Trump hater, and the progeny of America hating communists, and by every standard should be disqualified from sitting in on this case, and her judicial decisions show the only bench she should be allowed to sit on is a park bench.

Kristol Clarity On ‘Conservative Scholars’ Seeking to Ban Trump

Shockingly, erudite rightists hailed by NYT aren’t above the fray after all.

For what seems like the millionth time since former President Donald Trump first went down those escalator steps in June 2015, the big-box media has dug up “real” and “authentic” conservatives to loftily rule against his fitness to be the Republican Party standard bearer. The daydreams always involve permanently banishing Trump from the world of American politics. The latest tactic? Keep him off the ballot in 2024.

“Conservative Case Emerges to Disqualify Trump for Role on Jan. 6,” reads the headline of an article published by The New York Times on Aug. 10. This has drawn renewed attention now that certain New Hampshire Republicans are indeed hoping to forcibly exclude Trump from the state’s presidential ballot next year.

The NYT was eager to stress the alleged rock-ribbed rightist bona fides of the subjects in question. “Two prominent conservative law professors have concluded that Donald J. Trump is ineligible to be president under a provision of the Constitution that bars people who have engaged in an insurrection from holding government office. The professors are active members of the Federalist Society, the conservative legal group, and proponents of originalism, the method of interpretation that seeks to determine the Constitution’s original meaning,” the paper exclaimed in an especially pregnant lead sentence.

‘We’re Constitutional Scholars’

The article takes pains to point out that these eminent legal scholars were guided only by free inquiry, bringing no preconceived notions to the table:

“The professors – William Baude of the University of Chicago and Michael Stokes Paulsen of the University of St. Thomas – studied the question for more than a year and detailed their findings in a long article to be published next year in The University of Pennsylvania Law Review.

‘When we started out, neither of us was sure what the answer was,’ Professor Baude said. ‘People were talking about this provision of the Constitution. We thought: “We’re constitutional scholars, and this is an important constitutional question. We ought to figure out what’s really going on here.” And the more we dug into it, the more we realized that we had something to add.’”

This cherished contribution to conservative thought was quickly seized upon by a notable New Hampshire Republican keen on preventing Trump from being an option to Granite State voters in 2024.

“Bryant ‘Corky’ Messner, an attorney and prominent Republican who won the 2020 Republican Senate nomination thanks in great part to Trump’s support, is mulling a lawsuit if Trump later this year files to put his name on the New Hampshire primary ballot,” Fox News reported on Aug. 30. “This article presented a very, very, compelling analysis that in fact Donald Trump is disqualified from being on the ballot,” Messner told Fox, referring to the piece authored by Baude and Paulsen.

Dominant establishment news site Politico, which is so in thrall to ruling progressive elites that it allowed French President Emmanuel Macron to edit the content of an April interview it conducted with him, transparently used Messner to justify crafting a lengthy article playing up the notion that Trump could be disqualified from the ballot is indeed a compelling legal question. “I’m a Constitutional conservative. The words say what they say,” Messner told Politico. “I quite frankly believe it is in Donald Trump’s best interest to get this looked at as quickly as possible.”

But even Macron’s favorite American political journal had to admit that the scheme is a longshot at best. What Politico or The New York Times did not tell readers, however, is that the scholarly article Messner was leaning on while posing as a staunch “Constitutional conservative” is as impartial as CNN on Election Night.

Stowing Away the Trump Derangement Baggage

A cursory look at the two authors finds them canoodling with noted Never Trumper Bill Kristol and expressing open loathing of Trump years before their supposedly above-the-fray piece.

Michael Stokes Paulsen “is a graduate of Northwestern University, Yale Law School, and Yale Divinity School,” his Federalist Society bio states. “Professor Paulsen has taught as a visiting professor at Princeton University [and] Georgetown” and “was a fellow in the James Madison Program in American Ideals and Institutions, in the Department of Politics at Princeton University.”

In other words, his Swamp-soaked academic credentials are impeccable.

Two days after Jan. 6, 2021, Paulsen penned a frothy opinion piece for The Bulwark, the notorious Never Trumper website that touts Kristol as “editor-at-large.” Its unambiguous title: “The Constitutional and Moral Imperative of Immediate Impeachment.” Its lead sentence: “President Trump should be impeached and removed from office immediately.” Paulsen’s screed was the exact opposite of calm and sober-minded.

Trump “has, without doubt, committed acts constituting ‘high Crimes and Misdemeanors’ within the meaning of the Constitution’s impeachment standard,” Paulsen asserted. “He has attempted to preserve himself in office, notwithstanding his defeat for reelection, by seeking to subvert the results of a series of popular democratic state elections — a terrible attack on our constitutional republican government. He has done so by developing a tissue of lies and repeating them endlessly, in a fraudulent effort to undermine public confidence in election results.”

Baude also has a fine elitist academic resume. He “received his BS in Mathematics from the University of Chicago and his JD from Yale Law School” and “was a fellow at the Stanford Constitutional Law Center,” the Federalist Society bio details. On Oct. 8, 2021, Baude sat down for a cozy chat at the “Conversations With Bill Kristol” podcast dedicated to discussing “electoral subversion.” Care to guess who they wanted to talk about? “I think it’s terrifying that one important way to be in good standing in the Republican Party and to rise to prominence in the Republican Party is I guess the big lie, it’s to say, ‘I believe Donald Trump won the election and that Republicans who failed to take his side, failed to find a way to keep him in office, have betrayed him and I’ll be a true party loyalist,’” Baude told Kristol.

“And then you, of course, have the storming of the Capitol [on Jan. 6], which in some ways, I mean, was the most dramatic and got the most coverage,” he luridly stated. “In some ways, it’s not nearly as scary as a lot of the other pieces of this puzzle.” While expressing relief that Trump was not allowed to advance his election fraud case, Baude let Kristol know just where he stands as a “conservative.”

“The treatment of Lynne [sic] Cheney makes that more nerve-wracking,” he declared. “Although, the fact that [Senate Minority Leader] Mitch McConnell [R-KY] remains in control of his party in the Senate is encouraging. He made no bones about the fact that he did not like what Trump was doing, did not think it was proper. He gave some strong speeches. Now, he didn’t ultimately join the impeachment effort, didn’t ultimately have the votes. I get that. So, the fact that he’s still around, makes me sleep a little easier. If he’s displaced by some other senators, then I’ll really get nervous.”

There you have it. Meet the two constitutional conservative heroes as touted by The New York Times. Gee, that whole “when we started out, neither of us was sure what the answer was” tripe suddenly sounds a whole lot less convincing, doesn’t it?

A trifecta of anti-Trump vitriol in The New York Times yesterday

June 12, 2023 By David Zukerman

The title of the David French New York Times column, June 11 (print edition) was "Indicting Was the Right Call."  And how could a Garland/Biden/Smith indictment of former president Trump not be a "right call" to a New York Times columnist?  (The online title of the French column was "Trump's Misconduct Was Too Brazen Not to Charge.")

Here are two observations on the French column.  He writes, nearing the end of his screed, "that Trump's status as a former president means that he should be treated no better and — crucially — no worse than ordinary American citizens or his political peers."

First, does French have round-the-clock Secret Service protection?  One would think not.  One would think, further, that French would have to concede that, as a former president, Mr. Trump is treated rather better "than ordinary American citizens" — and pursuant to law — the Former Presidents Protection Act of 2012, to boot..........To Read More....

New York Times goes full Trump Derangement Syndrome

April 10, 2023 By David Zukerman

The title of the April 9 Times Sunday Opinion piece was: "Four Opinion Writers on Trump's Indictment and 'the Borderlands of Illegality'", but, for purpose of precision, it should have been styled: "Three anti-Trump propagandists and one Never Trumper on the need to keep humiliating the S.O.B."  The propagandists participating in this anti-Trump exercise were Times Opinion (as propaganda) columnists Lydia Polgreen, Ross Douthat (the Never Trump voice), Carlos Lozada and Michelle Cottle of the Times editorial (as propaganda) board...........To Read More....

A Hurricane in 2022 Is Trump's Fault

CNN, which has been much slower to provide coverage of Fiona on the island, flew Anderson Cooper out there to wade uncomfortably around and do interviews with leftist politicians wearing custom-printed, “Help Us, We Are Dying” t-shirts in between posing for glamor shots.

Instead, Cooper is currently promoting a podcast with leftist hack Stephen Colbert.

The dramatic difference in coverage can be summed up with two Reuters headlines, five years apart, “Puerto Ricans say Trump’s disaster response was too slow” and “Puerto Rico power grid no match for Fiona; residents unsurprised.”

The New York Times went even further blaming President Trump for Puerto Rico’s power grid going down in 2022. According to the leftist paper, the number one reason that the island’s power is down is because “the Trump administration also placed restrictions on portions of the island’s aid out of concerns that the money would be mismanaged or squandered.”

There was indeed massive fraud with multiple officials, including Julia Keleher, the former Secretary of Education for Puerto Rico, the head of Puerto Rico’s Association of Certified Public Accountants, and multiple FEMA officials, getting busted.

Amon those arrested was Ahsha Nateef Tribble: Obama’s Senior Director for Response and an interim Deputy Homeland Security Advisor. Obama’s girl pled guilty this May, but the media has not seen fit to cover the minor matter of an Obama NSC official going down or to mention it in relation to the latest disaster in Puerto Rico: this time taking place on Biden’s watch.

Instead, Biden is being praised for lifting anti-corruption restrictions while promising to pour more money into Puerto Rico. The influx of money will only further feed the corruption without actually benefiting ordinary people. There’s plenty of history that makes that all too clear.

Every time there’s a major storm, Puerto Rico’s power grid goes down. That’s been the case long before Trump’s presidential run. Even without storms, the LA Times reported that under Obama, island residents “were suffering power outages at rates four to five times higher than average U.S. customers”. Puerto Rico’s electric grid is ancient, its public utility was broken and its linemen had moved to America. Also the island is notorious for its culture of corruption.

Somehow that became Trump’s fault. And in 2022, it is still somehow his fault.

After trying to blame Trump for restricting funds to fight corruption, the New York Times is forced to admit that the island government isn’t spending the money that it has. Bloomberg notes that, “Of the $21 billion that FEMA has designated for public assistance projects overall in Puerto Rico, only 2% has been spent.” Much as during the aftermath of Hurricane Maria when aid was left sitting in warehouses, what Puerto Rico has isn’t even being used by the local government.

But when the media isn’t blaming Trump, it’s blaming global warming or privatization. Even though it was the Puerto Rico Electric Power Authority (PREPA):, the bankrupt public utility whose defunct equipment, missing employees and general dysfunction had led to the original massive outrage during Hurricane Maria, resulting in overdue privatization.

The one man the media isn’t blaming is Joe Biden. Much as the media didn’t blame Bill Clinton or Obama for the hurricanes that happened on their watch or the resulting consequences. When a hurricane hits Puerto Rico while a Republican is in office, it’s his fault. But when a hurricane hits during a Democrat’s term, then it’s obviously due to either climate change or a Republican.

Even though Biden took a day longer than Trump to approve disaster relief, media coverage has emphasized how much he cares about Puerto Rico. After Maria, the media claimed, with no evidence, that Trump was bigoted toward Puerto Ricans and that his neglect was killing them.

After earthquakes in 2020, the media doubled down on the narrative with CNN headlining its coverage, “Trump stays publicly silent on Puerto Rican earthquakes but has signed emergency declaration”. Democrats rushed to capitalize on the disaster, including Joe Biden who stated, “It’s unconscionable that so much of the hard work of disaster recovery continues to be left undone. We’ve got to deliver concrete support for Puerto Rico now before more lives are lost.”

Now that Biden is in office, the work remains undone. But somehow it’s not his fault.

At a press conference, Biden promised, “We’ll do everything, everything we can to meet the urgent needs you have and we know they’re real and they’re significant. And we’re there. And I know, bad joke, ‘I’m from the federal government and I’m here to help.’ But we really are.”

The federal government has been coming to Puerto Rico to help for generations. It hasn’t helped. After tens of billions of dollars in aid, the island is no better off than it was before.

In 2017, it was asking for $94 billion in aid. That’s all the more startling when you consider that Puerto Rico’s current population is only a little over 3 million. That would have been over $30,000 per person. Even the billions allocated to it come out to about $7,000 per person.

Not that the average Puerto Rican will ever see any of that money.

Instead of telling the truth about that, Puerto Rico’s current state is always Trump’s fault. And will remain his fault until another Republican sets foot in the Oval Office and pulls up a chair.

Much like the inner cities, it’s easier to throw around accusations of bigotry than to reckon with what is actually wrong. And that’s convenient because Democrats profit financially and politically from Puerto Rico’s disasters. The worse things get on the island, the better the odds of winning Florida. Feeding corruption just makes things worse for Puerto Ricans and better for Dems.

Puerto Rico’s real problem isn’t Hurricane Maria or Hurricane Fiona, it’s Hurricane Biden.

Cartoons of the Day, With a Thought or Two!

By Rich Kozlovich

Well, Democrats are always whining they're being picked on by Republicans. After all, defending themselves against scurrilous and vicious lies demeans Democrats.  How dare they?

Political Cartoons by Bob Gorrell

But never fear, Biden has a plan that's clear as crystal for the direction of America, for freedom and for democracy.  Right?  Waddayathink?

Political Cartoons by AF Branco

See, there's nothing wrong with Ole Sleepy Joe.  They checked his head and there's nothing there, so
"don't worry, be happy", he's got the wind in his face and he's just fine.

Political Cartoons by Steve Breen

The Democrats are always saying if Republicans win it will destroy "Our Democracy", and I know now just  how true that is.  It appears what they're calling "Our Democracy" is in reality "Their Socialist Tyranny" and "Their Vision of Democracy" is the destruction of "Our Republic", and burning the Constitution is merely a matter of free speech.  So we shouldn't read too much into that.  Should we?

Political Cartoons by Tom Stiglich

There they go again.  Do they really want these kids to start reading books?  Who knows what radical ideas they might develop if they did, like capitalism is good and socialism is bad.  Or the left is irrational misanthropic and morally defective.  After all, when they graduate from high school and have to take remedial reading to enter college, why would you think they would read anyway.   YouTube is all they need.

Political Cartoons by Michael Ramirez

Oh the horror of it.  The apex of reality!  Is this what happens when leftists, RINO's and Never Trumpers finally are forced to realize Trump could  actually be the right guy to head up the nation?  Maybe, but one thing is for sure, this is what happens when reality conflicts with raw emotion and irrational social paradigms come into conflict with reality.

Political Cartoons by Tom Stiglich

Are they going to bring up all that conspiracy theory stuff against Hillary, Obama, Biden, DNC and Russian collusion with Trump?   Oh, sure there's a lot of evidence now showing it wasn't a conspiracy theory, and it really was a conspiracy bordering on treason, but C'mon man, that's old news.  There are bigger fish to fry, like stealing the 2022 and 2024 elections, and make no mistake about it, this is nothing more than an effort by Republicans to create distraction from that bigger mission.  So let's just move on already.   Okay?

Could Common Sense Yet Prevail Over Biden’s Plan for Taxing and Spending?

Lawrence Kudlow, Special to the Sun | September 14, 2021

My overall take on the reconciliation information coming out of the House is simple: Go woke, go broke, and this whole reckless tax and spend and regulate plan will inflict great damage on the blue collar, middle-class workforce, jobs, wages, and prosperity. Great damage.

I love it today when Secretary Blinken blamed President Trump’s conditional Afghan withdrawal plan for the catastrophe executed by the Biden administration. Love that. Let me get this right — they were absolutely bound and hand-cuffed to Mr. Trump’s plans.

Yet wait a minute, the Democrats have religiously, obsessively, derangedly overturned every Trump policy. They overturned his tax cuts, his regulatory reduction, his energy independence, his support for Israel, his Iranian hostility, his border policies on security and immigration, his policies towards police, recidivist crime, among other things.

Are we supposed to believe that Mr. Biden’s Trump Derangement Syndrome forced him to follow Mr. Trump's Afghan withdrawal policies? Which, by the way, were conditioned and gated in a number of areas that were never fulfilled. The former president himself said he would have taken fierce combat action against the terrorist Taliban if they acted out as they did in breaking his deal during the Biden evacuation............To Read More....

EXC: Joe Biden's State Dept Halted a Trump-Era Crisis Response Plan Aimed at Avoiding Benghazi-Style Evacuations Just MONTHS Before Taliban Takeover.

Joe Biden’s State Department moved to cancel a critical State Department program aimed at providing swift and safe evacuations of Americans out of crisis zones just months prior to the fall of Kabul, The National Pulse can exclusively reveal.

The “Contingency and Crisis Response Bureau” – which was designed to handle medical, diplomatic, and logistical support concerning Americans overseas was paused by Antony Blinken’s State Department earlier this year. Notification was officially signed just months before the Taliban’s takeover of Afghanistan.

“SENSITIVE BUT UNCLASSIFIED,” an official State Department document from the Biden State Department begins, before outlining the following move the quash the Trump-era funding for the new bureau.

The document is from the desk of Deputy Secretary of State Brian P. McKeon, confirmed in March by the United States Senate........To Read More.....

New Variant of Trump Derangement Syndrome Ravaging the Media

Can DeSantis survive the progressive media’s dragon-slaying efforts?

Articles, Opinion, Politics

There’s a new variant of Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS) sweeping through the ranks of the Fourth Estate – and there is no known vaccination. The DeSantis Strain now appears in media accounts as responsible for all this country’s ills. Could its effect force the progressive left to resort to tactics previously reserved for the 45th president?

Ron DeSantis, a MAGA kind of politician, has made a few waves of late. The Florida governor dismissed the panic-driven COVID-19 passports. He signed into law and by executive order a mandate to keep local municipalities from demanding masks and vaccination records.

And then there came the poll. Earlier in June at the Western Conservative Summit, a straw poll yielded results shocking to some. As a potential presidential candidate, Trump came in with a strong 71% support – as expected. What wasn’t foreseen: Ron DeSantis carried a more prominent 74%.

As Tim Donner, senior political analyst of Liberty Nation, explained:

“Relatively few Republicans might fall on their sword for the sake of Trump, the man, but it is now obvious many would for the sake of his America First agenda. DeSantis has risen to the position of frontrunner (absent Trump) by exhibiting a Trumpian take-no-prisoners approach to leftist excesses, especially in the social and legacy media, and priorities almost indistinguishable from Donald Trump.”

And perhaps it is the media’s dog-eared and highlighted playbook – admittedly and unapologetically used against Trump – that will slay the newest emergent MAGA threat.

Never Waste a Timely Tragedy

The fresh assault on DeSantis popped up immediately after one self-proclaimed investigative journalist took to Twitter and juxtaposed a tweet the governor wrote in January 2019 celebrating an event to deregulate business with a recent headline from the fallout of the Surfside disaster. Yes, Ken Klippenstein, the journalist, really did do this. It was considered so egregious that even other journalists called him out, called him names, and trashed-talked him on his feed.

Klippenstein apparently does not understand the difference between deregulation of licenses for nail salons versus building inspection recertification matters, not as long as some disastrous message can be delivered and repeated.

Where have we seen this style of “journalism” directed before? Mostly MAGA candidates and officials.

And a few weeks earlier CBS was charging to the forefront of ramrodding doubt into the minds of its viewers. On the long-running show 60 Minutes, a pay-to-play scheme by DeSantis and the grocery chain Publix was the scandalous topic for a good bit of the allotted hour. The accusation: a $100,000 campaign donation allowed Publix stores to be first in delivering vaccinations. As it turned out, one had nothing to do with the other, and DeSantis clearly explained the situation. In a nutshell, the supermarket chain was the first retailer in Florida ready and able to begin the arduous task of vaccinating the public.

Even Florida state Democrats applauded the rollout effort and defended the governor. But not the drive-by media that used smoke and mirrors to edit the facts and tell their own version of the story.

It’s a Panic Already

There is a political lifetime until the next election – there could be pandemics, natural disasters, economic crashes, and international diplomatic upheavals. What is popular today may be gone tomorrow, depending on which way the fickle winds blow. And they will blow under the guise of news. Without Trump to blame for the nation’s ills, it seems DeSantis is the next best thing. The difference between the two men is not policy but diplomacy: DeSantis can tell folks to go to hell, and they are likely to smile and ask for the quickest route.

But he is no wimp and is not afraid of the press corps. And he has a spiffy new name for the Fourth Estate: “These are smear merchants. That’s why nobody trusts corporate media.”

New York Prosecutors are Screaming at the Sky

Did leftists learn nothing from the adventures of Wile E. Coyote forever trying to catch the Roadrunner but always failing?  New York prosecutors under District Attorney Cyrus Vance, Jr. have convened a grand jury to investigate The Trump Organization (“TTO”) owned by former President Trump and his family (replacing the one already convened in 2018).

There is nothing to stop an indictment of Trump, other than remembering what happened to the Duke Lacrosse player prosecutor.  But the deep state’s attempt to arrest and indict Trump will fail.   It is starting to look as if the endless adrenaline high is the real point.  If the New York prosecutors’ investigation is measured in news headlines, then they have already accomplished what they hoped.

Getting leftists stirred up with breathless anticipation that President Trump is about to be hauled away in handcuffs isn’t about the truth.  It’s about whipping up their campaign volunteers into a frenzy and demoralizing Trump voters.  Prosecutors seem eager to convince people that their investigation is a real threat...........To Read More......

My Take - Do these prosecutors know this?  Of course, but the judicial and legal system in New York, and New York City especially, is so stunningly left wing and corrupt, actual law has little to do with much of what they do.  So these misfits will continue down publicity highway at taxpayer expense and at the end, I can only hope the same thing does happen to that that happened to Nifong.  Disbarment!

My Former Friends Have Joined the Fascists

A personal tale of the divisions of our time.

Mon May 10, 2021 David Horowitz 14 comments

Trump derangement is a crippling mental disorder. It turns otherwise capable minds into Munchausen fabulators, so detached from reality that it’s hard to know what world they think they’re in. It leads to accusations like this: “[Trump was] AWOL during the country’s greatest health crisis in a century.”

You can say many things about Donald Trump, and many negative things if you wish, but to call a man AWOL who declared a national health emergency the day after the World Health Organization did the same, banned travel from China, which was the viral source, immediately thereafter, withstood Democrat attacks calling him a racist, a xenophobe and hysteric for this life-saving move; to call a man who supplied record numbers of ventilators, masks and other health paraphernalia that the Obama-Biden White House had depleted and never replaced, who held daily public briefings on the virus with the heads of the CDC, and who performed a political miracle in getting vaccines approved and distributed in record time – to call this man AWOL during the pandemic is tantamount to calling the earth flat and the sky purple.

Yet ignoring Trump’s alleged absence during the pandemic, while joining his “cult,” is exactly the accusation leveled at me in a New Republic cover story by Ron Radosh and Sol Stern, who have called their attack, “Our Friend the Trump Propagandist.”............To Read More....

Twin Cruel Governors Sacrificed Elders to Ruin Trump

Govs Cuomo Whitmer Self-Destruct by Covid Policy While Obeying Dem Trump Resistance

Intro: Twin Pompous Governors Joined Resistance.

Isn’t it ironic how two of the most pompous anti-Trump governors ruined their careers simply by blindly following guidelines of the anti-Trump movement, crafted by deranged Democrat politicians. NY Gov Andrew Cuomo very publicly crashed and burned, and still stalks the landscape aflame. MI Gov Gretchen Whitmer is just beginning her public immolation. Both hectoring and bombastic governors were outed by others in their own party, Cuomo when an aid admitted in a “closed hearing” Cuomo falsified his rest home Covid numbers to avoid Trump’s withering criticism. Whitmer apparently bribed a head of MI health to keep secret the fact she also lied about rest home Covid deaths. What an incredible coincidence!

Crippling Trump politically was worth the murder of twenty thousand Americans

Hateful Governors Condemned Seniors to Death

Harder to understand is why both supposed brilliant politicians leading huge states decided, in heartless and stupid decisions, to send Covid sick seniors back into rest homes. This single choice meant thousands more seniors would sicken and die, since they are the single group most at risk. But worse, both governors had options that were not just available, but transparently superior by miles. Navy hospital ships were sitting in NY Harbor, filled with fresh doctors, medicines, respirators and beds. So did Cuomo use this generous offer? No, he decided to send the sick back into the most vulnerable population. And so did Whitmer. (see, Detroit’s $9 million field hospital shuts after treating 39 COVID patients”.

The Wages of Trump Hatred

Hating Donald Trump in the hater’s eyes makes one moral. But in the real world, such pathological fixations usually result in abject immorality and moral decline.

  By

Over the last five years, the pathology of Trump Derangement Syndrome has been widely described. It was more than a chronic disease and was often characterized by an array of rapidly advancing symptoms of deterioration in reasoning, emotional stability, and personal ethics.

More practically, often the deranged Trump hater found in his odium a cover for all sorts of prior personal intemperance and careerist dissipation. Loudly hating Trump became a passport for excess, private and public, and a sort of preemptive insurance that excused or rather greenlighted smears, slander, and personal misdeeds.

The Anti-Lincoln Project

For over a year, the theme of the NeverTrump Lincoln Project was the organizers’ professed superior morality. They had it; most others on the Right did not. Only a select heroic few of the Republican Party would dare to break ranks to end the danger to the country posed by a supposedly morally inferior Donald Trump.

Forget Trump’s economic, domestic, cultural, and foreign policy record that had belied critics by its successes—despite historic opposition, investigation, denigration, and obstruction. No matter. Character was king. Again, the Lincoln Project had it; Trump followers did not.

The Lincoln Project’s Band of Brothers—initially four financially strapped, embittered middle-aged white male Washington insiders—lectured the country that those few, those happy few, that band of brothers would fight for us. If only they were adequately funded, they could save us from the moral turpitude of four more years of Trump.

Their ostensible promise to the Left was that they would hold down their end of the bargain by maintaining the 10-12 percent of Republicans who did not vote for Trump in 2016. In truth, they may have had nothing to do with preserving a bare six percent of Republicans who would again vote against Trump. That was a modest aim, but apparently, every bit of Trump derangement was fundable. Or as the departing, now mansion-buying Steve Schmidt put it, “I really didn’t give a sh-t how many Republicans were voting for Trump or not.”

If one were to believe all the sermonizing of these latter-day Elmer Gantrys, then their inherent paradoxes, hypocrisies, and selfish agendas might magically disappear.

For example, it was quickly evident that the Lincoln Project luminaries were not just fixated on destroying Trump and derailing the most conservative presidential agenda since Ronald Reagan’s, but also on refuting their own supposedly lifelong commitment to conservative causes by abetting the Biden campaign and the hard-Left interests that drove it.

When Republicans hired them, they were conservative; when they did not, these buskins were liberal. To ensure their own continued largess, they were not just to be Romneyite rejectionists, not just Bidenites, but abettors of the neo-socialist cause of Kamala Harris, Bernie Sanders, and the squad.

Money was the prime impetus to the project. Again, we were supposed to forget that some of the Lincoln Project luminaries were flat broke. Who cared that others owed huge sums in back taxes, with no apparent way of repayment—given their own reputations for failed campaigns and expensive, but otherwise mediocre consultancy?

Almost all were eager to set up shadow service companies to siphon off the expected huge sums from rich leftists. The project’s directors eagerly assumed their roles of useful idiocy, their donors that of cynical manipulators. Both conspired to destroy their shared bogeyman, Donald Trump, and with him all obstacles to the new hard progressive future.

Before November 3, the media was not so much interested in the backgrounds or details of these handy moral preeners. Then suddenly Trump lost the election. Biden was inaugurated. And, again mysteriously, a recalibrated media found the grifters of the Lincoln Project expendable, although not so idiotic—given that they had diverted millions of dollars into their own private coffers in the form of “consulting fees.”

After November 3, we also learned that co-founder John Weaver was a sexual bird of prey. He had leveraged his newfound Lincoln largess and influence as quid pro quos for his own sexual predations—with little apparent regard for the age of his targeted young male victims.

This sordid fact was apparently known to many of the pre-election sermonizers at the Lincoln Project. But again, disclosure of that fact, in a cost-to-benefit analysis, was considered secondary to preserving the growing revenue stream from the Left.

So these moralists lied about their ignorance of their own pederast, and apparently on one occasion at least would-be pedophile, in their midst.

Only after the election, we learned that Rick Wilson and Weaver in particular were raking in and largely disguising exorbitant fees, in part to pay huge back tax bills. After the election, the project’s legal consultants suddenly were “shocked” by such disclosures, and began leaving the now-discredited project—at precisely the time when it was in dire need of a legal autopsy and full disclosure.

Rarely has the abyss between the pretense and the lie been so vast: a group subsidized on purported conservative moral principles, and aimed at stopping the cultural damage to the cause by Donald Trump, was funded by left-wingers eager to buy off a few financially imperiled has-beens, who exaggerated their vestigial consulting clout among the Washington swamp. But then again, beggars cannot be choosers.

In turn, the Lincoln Project spent much of its near $100 million on themselves. And the grift sort of worked, as they puffed themselves up about the Biden win, rescued themselves from the IRS, splurged on opulent vacation homes and appurtenances—and declared that ending Trump was the only the lucrative beginning, as they made lists to hound and denigrate his former appointees.

But the con sputtered out, as they ended up accusing each other of improprieties. Rodent-like they scrambled overboard from the now rotting, putrid, and sinking ship.

The loudest of the moralists, Steven Schmidt, epitomized the absurdity of the project when he contextualized his silence about the free-wheeling Weaver. Schmidt, you see, was a victim himself, as he related a long ago purported childhood abuse trauma. And in racialist and chauvinist fashion, as Schmidt left he announced that he wanted a non-white male to replace him in the almost all-white male partnership.

Think of the condescending absurdity: Mostly all-white male swamp creatures were happy to rake in millions. But when their own moral lapses and depravities destroyed their grift, they quit—and only then invited in more women or people of color to sort out the mess they left in their wake.

The only mystery in this entire moral putridity was who deserved the most censure: the cynical rich leftists who funded the charade hoping to manipulate pseudo-conservatives to serve their hard-Left needs—or these two-timing, born-again charlatans who masqueraded as conservatives to shake down millions from those who could afford to so indulge themselves.

The common denominator, again, was Trump hatred. And so that noble aim excused every sordid means to enhance it.

Gubernatorial Lethality

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo should have become a political pariah by summer 2020. His handling of the COVID-19 virus was all in all the worst in the country. At first, like most politicians, Cuomo had downplayed the chance of a pandemic. Then, like most politicians, he blamed other politicians for downplaying it as he had, once the coronavirus swept his state.

Where were the ventilators, the hospitals, and the beds, once the virus struck?

For a brief moment, Cuomo praised Trump, who had sent a hospital ship to Manhattan that went unused, who gave him a plethora of ventilators that were stockpiled, and who sent an entire tent hospital to the Javits Center that mostly stayed empty. But as the death toll mounted, and as the 2020 election heated up, and as Trump’s popularity dipped in the polls, Cuomo pivoted.

Abruptly, he now blasted Trump as negligent, derelict, a veritable killer of the innocent. He appeared on his brother’s CNN show, as they yucked it up to showcase his pandemic competency—and always the federal government’s purported sudden laxity.

His self-serving daily press conferences amplified his bombast and snark. And ostensibly they won Cuomo an Emmy for his televised theatrics. Hollywood’s subtext was that by weaponizing the epidemic against the now candidate Trump, the useful idiot Cuomo at least deserved some sort of acting award.

As with the grifters of the Lincoln Project, as long as Donald Trump was on the ballot, Cuomo was deified. He wrote his own hagiography about the arts of dealing with a pandemic. He, not COVID-19 and its victims, was the story. He bantered, strutted, and cajoled on national television—always eying either the 2020 vice-presidential nomination or at least the attorney generalship in the Biden Administration.

Cuomo may have had the second-worst record of any governor in the United States, in terms of deaths per million from the virus (currently 2,361 per million New York residents, second to next-door New Jersey). He may have shut down his state, drove out millions to seek refuge elsewhere, ruined New York’s economy, and yet suffered more deaths and inflicted more damage on his own than a similarly sized, open, and economically rebounding Florida and Texas. Still, Cuomo had one advantage those red-state governors lacked: a large left-wing media platform to blast the hated Trump.

Now, again mysteriously, after the inauguration of Joe Biden, we learn the sordid details about Cuomo, in the fashion revelations appear daily and simultaneously about the Lincoln Project. It was known long ago that Cuomo, in a panic about the epidemic, had shuttled infected patients into the state’s extended care homes—and by executive fiat—where they proved mobile Petri dishes, infecting vulnerable residents, who began dying en masse

Cuomo might have stopped the awful practice. He might have announced the accurate number of the dead to highlight the need to end immediately the lunatic diversions. Instead, we now learn he ordered his aides to hide the lethality figures. If he was blasted for 8,000 rest home deaths, then what, he feared, would be the public reaction at the true figure of 15,000 dead?

Would the president whom he demagogued now demagogue him? So Cuomo lied. He hid the grim data from a media all too eager before November 3 to comply. He lied to the New York state legislature. He lied to the U.S. Department of Justice. He lied to the public. And he assumed these were all “noble lies”—necessary for the good cause of ending Donald Trump.

Clipping His Twitter Wings

Before November 3, Silicon Valley—especially the $4 trillion quartet of Apple, Facebook, Google, and Twitter—had become unhinged by Donald Trump. They had no idea what to do with his 70 million Twitter followers, the legions of his Facebook fans, and the Gmail millions who adored him.

The Left became irate at Big Tech. What good did it do for the obsequious traditional media to slant the news, to offer 90 percent negative television and print coverage of Trump, to smother the achievements of his presidency, when he circumvented the putdowns through Twitter and Facebook?

Who cared whether they check marked, or temporarily deplatformed or for a while canceled or shut down Trump and thousands of his Trumper followers—when he still stirred up millions through the technological gadgetry and hard-won capital of Silicon Valley’s progressive anointed? After all, when the Obamas go public in their demand to expel Trump from social media, who can resist their speaking truth to power?

The January 6 Capitol riot at last gave Big Tech the long-awaited and long-planned opportunity. And they seized it in night-of-the-long-knives fashion.  Twitter, YouTube, and Facebook, again mysteriously in concert, banned the president from its collective platforms of communication—for life.

For the first time in his own political life, Donald Trump went silent, inert, mute. The media continued its nonstop invective, but now Trump had no detours around them.

Trump, they alleged, had used their product to incite violence, perhaps in the very manner Antifa and Black Lives Matter had used their platforms to plan demonstrations that characteristically ended in rioting, arson, and looting.

But could not Trump reroute to the conservative alternative, the upstart non-Silicon Valley Parler?

Big Tech had considered that, too. So on January 11, 2021, in the same manner of the collisional nocturnal action of Twitter and Facebook, so too Apple, Amazon, and Google, again mysteriously, in the wee hours eliminated everyone’s access to Parler, a sort of neutron bombing of a rising competitor.

In hours, it was clear that they had effectively strangled Parler in its crib to preempt a Trump and MAGA mass exodus from Twitter and Facebook, and thus inadvertently transmogrify the ban into a Parler bonanza.

In the old days, these leftists of the Stanford-Silicon Valley corridor might have called such collusion market “rigging,” “fixing,” and “scheming.” Their lopsided market shares might have earned the muckraking ire of independent journalists aghast at such open monopolies, boastful cartels, and unapologetic trusts.

But the masters of the universe now owned the news media and the means of most Americans both to access information and to communicate over email and social media. Besides, Trump was widely hated by Big Tech, Wall Street, the media, academia, entertainment, professional sports, foundations, and the corporate boardrooms. So who would object to their roles as our 21st-century versions of Jay Gould and Diamond Jim Fiske?

Hatred of Donald Trump became the wealthy agnostic’s version of medieval indulgence. One’s collective sins can be washed away and a once marred soul can still make its way to tech heaven—if the offender can purchase a contracted exemption.

Hating Donald Trump and doing something about that venom are just those indulgences. And they can excuse past, present, and future sin. Bar, cancel, and end a social-media Trump, and all the wrongs of monopoly, market fixing, cartelizing, and trust creation are washed away, in the eyes of the progressive supreme deity Reason.

So our cartels are beloved for colluding and fixing their markets to ban not just Trump but any future access to their competitors.

Trump is free to tweet and post whenever and wherever he wants, but there will be nowhere else to tweet and post. So spoke the liberal descendants of the old Jim Crow racists who insisted they were free to deny service to anyone they wished, even when there were no alternative motels or lunch counters to be found.

Hating Donald Trump in the hater’s eyes makes one moral. But in the real world, such pathological fixations usually result in abject immorality and moral decline, as the hater becomes far worse than what he hates.
