Bombshell DNI Emails Expose Fraud That Sabotaged 2018 Trump-Putin Summit

By Hans Mahncke

Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard has released two emails that are significant not only for their content but for their timing, coming just two days before the Trump-Putin summit in Alaska. The emails reveal that in late 2016, then-DNI James Clapper pushed the fraudulent narrative that Russia had hacked the Democratic National Committee (DNC), overriding pointed objections from then-National Security Agency chief Admiral Mike Rogers.

The timing matters because this very narrative — the claim that Russia had hacked the DNC to help President Trump — was used to sabotage the 2018 Trump-Putin summit in Helsinki. Just three days before that meeting, Special Counsel Robert Mueller indicted 12 Russian nationals on charges of hacking the DNC. The indictment was designed to create political chaos. Mueller knew that the 12 Russians were located in Russia and would never stand trial, meaning he would never need to prove the case. The result of the indictments was exactly what Mueller, his team, and any yet-to-be-identified co-conspirators intended: to sabotage the summit and effectively criminalize diplomacy with Russia..............To Read More...

Lie another day: Clapper’s six-line marching orders that shaped Russiagate - The latest declassification from Gabbard shows lockstep unity was mandatory in the Obama Intelligence Directorate. ........Every sentence, every clause, every word, and every point of emphasis underscored the unmistakable message: This is our plan. This is the schedule. We will bend the rules. You will not see all the intel. And there will be no dissent. Deal with it.

At the time, the Obama White House had ordered an “Intelligence Community Assessment” on Russian election interference—yet inside the intelligence agencies, deep and abiding doubts about the conclusions, the sourcing, and the compressed timetable were tamped down and suppressed. Admiral Mike Rogers of the NSA had raised significant concerns about access and verification. Clapper’s response? A curt directive that left no doubt he expected complete alignment.  But don’t take my word for it—here is Clapper’s email, verbatim:.............

My Take - I've no doubt there must be a RICO investigation in the works over this.

FDR and the Democrats’ Unmatched Undemocratic Ways

The founder of the modern Democrat party would be cynically proud of how undemocratically it swept Kamala Harris to power.

Commentators such as Victor Davis Hanson have called the “coronation” of Vice President Kamala Harris as presumptive Democrat presidential nominee a coup coming upon another coup: the 2020 primary when front-runner Bernie Sanders was pressured by shadowy party bosses to drop out in order to leave the “moderate” electable Joe Biden.

As David Samuels says, we do have a shadow government … with Obama’s people in the White House running the show.

Now the elected candidate has been forced out and replaced with Harris, who had “entered no primary,” won not a single delegate in 2024 — or in 2020, when “she dropped out of the race even before the first Iowa and New Hampshire balloting.” Delegates will be denied the ability to put forth nominees, as Harris is nominated virtually.

Many wonder how the Democrat Party of Franklin Delano Roosevelt could come to such high-handedness, where such party bosses as Nancy Pelosi and Barack Obama subvert the democratic process. The editorial board of the New York Post asked what happened to the party of “‘Lunch Bucket Joe,’” who “always aimed to identify with … the working class — the party’s base from the days of FDR and Harry Truman.” Democrats were now embracing “hyper progressive” and elitist Kamala Harris.

David Samuels presents a similar, commonly held view of American political history, of five American Republics with the last one founded by Barack Obama, who had toppled the Fourth Republic, which had been founded by Franklin Roosevelt.

FDR, presumably, “excised the New England elites in favor of the ‘New Deal alliance’ of Southerners and northern urban immigrant voters.” But then Bill Clinton embraced “global trade treaties like NAFTA and GATT, and China’s entry into the WTO, which blew up the broad middle class that FDR’s party had spent decades building and turned the Democrats into the party of Goldman Sachs and J.P. Morgan.”

Today’s Obama-led Democrat Party is “college-educated, corporate-controlled,” an “alliance of civil rights, anti-imperialism, and identity politics.”

Such assumptions — which are making the “conservatives” at Compact agitate for another New Deal — are based on the false idea that Franklin Delano Roosevelt, a self-identified member of the Hudson River Valley landed gentry, became a “traitor to his class” and championed the cause of workers and the “common man,” thus instituting a “golden age” for the middle class.

This is a myth that FDR and his retinue promulgated and which I debunk in my book, Debunking FDR: The Man and the Myths (2024). While Roosevelt’s name and class brought him unequaled favorable publicity, the truth is that he lived off of his family’s riches, mostly handed down by his maternal grandfather, an opium-pusher in China. Other sources came from monopolizing coal mines (a company town in Pennsylvania was named Delano) and railroads.

But from the beginning, during his one-term stint (January 1911–January 1913) as a 29-year-old New York State Senator, FDR presented himself as a “reformer.” One of the headline-grabbing issues of the day was the direct primary in the election of United States Senators, to be wrested from the party “bosses.”

Roosevelt had his doubts that a direct primary bill would have much effect, but it was a good issue to support to elevate his reputation. Knowing that star-struck reporters would favorably record his words, he gave public speeches for the direct primary, supported direct primary bills that actually accrued more power to party bosses, and played to the press corps in Albany by precipitating a headline-grabbing angry three-hour debate that ultimately ended in a recess with nothing passed.

Roosevelt’s decision to appeal to Southerners and northern urban immigrants was similarly based on political calculation as demographics shifted. He cast himself as a “farmer,” even claiming to be nothing more than a “Georgia cracker farmer” after investing in the Warm Springs property.

But as a letter to fellow Hudson River Valley gentleman farmer Henry Morgenthau, Jr. revealed, Roosevelt thought a “large number” of Upstate farmers displayed “sheer, utter, and complete ignorance.” FDR actually did the bidding of Wall Street, where he worked for several years as a Wall Street lawyer (though not a very good one) and invested in dubious schemes involving German currency and selling stock in his various companies to gullible Americans who ended up losing most of their investments.

Nor was the New Deal, presumably instituted to end the Depression, designed by the Brain Trust, the Ph.D.s with new ideas about how to uplift the masses as commonly thought. It was a creation of the very elites — bankers, corporate heads, and Wall Street speculators — to make institutional changes to their own benefit.

John T. Flynn, one of FDR’s most consistent contemporary critics (who has now been memory-holed), in the June 1939 Yale Review, called the Brain Trusters “messenger boys” for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, U.S. Steel, other corporations, and Wall Street speculators and bankers. More recently, in 1989, scholar Thomas Ferguson presented them as providing “a transmission belt for the ideas of others, including, notably, investment bankers from Lehmann Brothers.”

FDR may have rejected J.P. Morgan but only to allow the advancement of rival Chase National Bank, on whose board sat FDR’s cousin Vincent Astor. The Agricultural Adjustment Act was not designed by farmers but by “messenger boys” funded by the Rockefellers and the Chamber of Commerce.

The National Recovery Administration, which fixed prices and set codes to benefit the six-hundred or so largest businesses in the country, was architected by Wall Street speculator Bernard Baruch. The AAA benefited large landowners and drove small farmers and tenant farmers from the land, and the NRA destroyed small businesses.

The poor got very little of the New Deal funding, which was largely a patronage scheme — Tammany Hall on a national scale, with taxpayer-supported New Deal funds going to party bosses and areas where votes were needed.

Social Security similarly exploits workers. As Flynn wrote in 1939, “the Social Security Act was made the excuse for laying upon the workers under the guise of creating a vast reserve a pay-roll tax to support ordinary expenses.” Taxpayer-supported deposit insurance has been used to bail out banks in the 1980s and in 2008/2009. Obamacare, as David Garrow has pointed out, is “a great achievement for the health insurance industry.”

The progressive policies were designed to benefit the wealthy. When conservative Democrats like Senator Walter George, of Georgia, opposed his policies, such as court-packing, FDR publicly, in their presence, ridiculed them during the 1938 midterm “purge.” Today, the purge has been completed, with Democrats voting in lock-step or as a bumper sticker says, “Vote Blue, No Matter Who.”

As David Samuels says, we do have a shadow government, a “spooky arrangement” with Obama’s people in the White House running the show. But contrary to Samuels’ view of history, the “shadow government” was in place during the FDR era. Baruch was the largest donor to the Democrats in 1932. He also reviewed all the speeches Roosevelt gave during the presidential campaign.

Since at least the regime of FDR, the Democratic Party has been un-democratic. “Lunch Bucket Joe” was as unreal as “Georgia Cracker Farmer” FDR. We need to understand that as hyper-progressive Kamala Harris is refashioned into another working-class icon and the party bosses start playing “Nine to Five” as her theme song.

We're On An Island of Questions

In the past, America’s enemies were external. Now they are internal. Last week we witnessed a “coup” that disenfranchised 15+ MILLION Democrats who voted in their party’s primary. Where is the Republican leadership strongly denouncing what is happening? Why don’t more Democrats care?

Our questions with answers excerpted from articles/tweets:

Did Joe Biden write the letter withdrawing from the 2024 presidential campaign?

“Does Biden Even Know He’s Not Running for President Anymore?”by Elle Purnell, Federalist, July 22 - Who hit send on Sunday (July 21) afternoon’s announcement? No one believes it was actually Joe. Sure, the letter included a signature, but coming from the office that probably owns more signature stamps than any other executive in the country, you can decide what that’s worth. Does Joe Biden even know he’s not running for president anymore?

Why wasn’t the letter written on White House Letterhead?

Laura Loomer, X/Twitter, July 21 (excerpt) - Did you notice the Biden drop out letter isn’t on official letterhead? I’m told by a source that Joe Biden didn’t even write this letter. Source tells me that Steve Ricchetti, the Counselor to Joe Biden, actually wrote the letter and Biden Senior Advisor and campaign chair Mike Donilon was present as a witness while Ricchetti wrote the letter because Biden is too cognitively damaged to write a letter or comprehend what is going on. This means the signature is likely forged on the letter as well. Notice it’s not on official campaign or presidential letterhead. That means it’s not legitimate.

Why didn’t Biden’s staff know ahead of time that he was withdrawing?

“Blindsided: Biden Team Was Whipping Delegates When He Dropped Out”by Jonathan Martin, Politico, July 22 - In another sign of how the president’s decision stunned even his own staff, his Delaware-based campaign leadership concluded a staff call with state aides just minutes before Biden released his letter withdrawing from the race.

Will it be a Harris coronation or open Democrat convention?

“Biden Gone, Democrats Rally Around the Worst Possible Candidate”- By Byron York, Washington Times, July 22 -...Harris appears to have the inside track to the Democratic presidential nomination. The Trump campaign should take her seriously, not because she is a good candidate but because she will automatically have the vote of the millions of people who would vote for anyone other than Trump. That alone means she could win. So her GOP rivals should see the Harris campaign, rich with money raised by Biden, as a formidable opponent. But at the same time, it should be noted — and Harris herself will likely make it clear soon enough — that she is perhaps the worst candidate Democrats could choose to run for president.

Was it Obama’s plan to oust Biden and make Harris the nominee?

“Obama Doesn’t Believe Kamala Harris Can Beat Trump, Which is Why He Hasn’t Endorsed Her” - By Isabel Vincent and Jon Levine, New York Post, July 24 -  According to the source, Obama’s hope was to get Biden out of the way and an article written by George Clooney in the New York Times asking him to step aside was a part of that plan. However, the higher ups in the Democratic Party didn’t count on Biden endorsing Harris right away and “Obama was shocked” when Joe endorsed her, according to the insider.

“Barack Obama FINALLY Endorses Kamala … But He Likely Didn’t Want To”  - By Matt Margolis, PJ Media, July 26 - The source (to The New York Post) said that Barack Obama had a plan to maneuver Joe Biden out of the presidential race and intended for Arizona senator and former astronaut Mark Kelly to lead the ticket at the Democratic National Convention. However, this plan backfired when Joe Biden endorsed Kamala soon after he dropped out. The source said that Obama is "furious things haven’t gone his way."

Are Barack Obama and Kamala Harris close?

Monica Crowley, X/Twitter, July 26 - Obama was driving the Biden coup - until he wasn’t. He succeeded in enlisting Pelosi to force Biden out - but before he could spring his alternative plan in place, Kamala & Joe shivved him by announcing Biden’s withdrawal AND endorsement of her. Kamala then moved wicked fast, locking up support and money and before Barack could say “holy Politburo anti-coup!”, Kamala sealed the deal. She boxed out Obama, making her nomination a fait accompli and forcing Obama’s endorsement today. Do NOT underestimate her.

What about all the money Harris quickly raised?

Is Everything Kosher About the $126 Million That Poured in for Kamala?” - By Andrea Widburg, American Thinker, July 24 - ActBlue, the clearing house for all donations to Democrat parties and causes, has long had fundraising practices that, coincidentally or not, make money laundering easier. It allows donations from unverified credit cards, untethered to the cardholder’s name and address. This means that there’s no way at all to know who these donors are, paving the way for fraud. Thus, Joe Shmo in Abilene can knowingly donate using a card that actually belongs to Klaus Schwab! Or, Klaus Schwab could donate using the unwitting Joe Shmo’s name.

While it’s reasonable to believe that Democrats were relieved to see Joe Biden drop out of the race, it’s impossible to believe that Kamala Harris, the least-liked Vice President since polling began, managed within 36 hours to unleash almost a million small donors. ...When things sound too good to be true, they’re probably not true.

Will “Cacklin’ Harris” continue to cackle and make insane comments?

By Piers Morgan, X/Twitter, July 26 - (Commenting on the Obamas phone call to Harris endorsing her) OMG, I’ve seen some cheesy political videos in my time, but this Obama endorsement of Kamala is full-on Gorgonzola cheese …

Did a Nikki Haley PAC endorse Kamala Harris?

“Harris Campaign Welcomes 'Haley Voters for Harris' After Haley Says Cease and Desist”  - By Sarah McCammon, NPR, July 24 -  Haley Voters for Harris news release: “There are many other like minded Haley voters who also do not plan to support former President Trump in November. Our rights to engage with voters and encourage them to vote for Vice President Harris – who in our view is the clear better choice for the country – will not be suppressed.”

Doesn’t America now sound like a communist country?

“Time to Stand Down … or Stand Up?”By Eric Utter, American Thinker, July 26 - To recap: a former (and possibly future) president got shot, Democrats literally executed a coup, and Kamala Harris—their current preferred replacement for the allegedly duly elected president—is apparently going to be bestowed all of Biden’s campaign money, donors’ desires rendered moot. And Trump has been informed that he should no longer engage in his most effective mode of campaigning unless he’s okay with getting shot dead. All this in America.

KAMALA HARRIS: Black Lives Matter says not so fast

Between her word salads and cackles, it’s easy to mock Kamala Harris. But with Joe Biden forced to step down in what looks like a coup, elites want to quickly crown Harris as the Democrat nominee. Those who believe in a Constitutional Republic should be very frightened that 15+ MILLION Democrats who voted in primaries are being disenfranchised.

On July 14, Black Lives Matters put out a statement denouncing making Harris the defecto nominee. Here are three excerpts:

“We call for the Rules Committee to create a process that allows for public participation in the nomination process, not just a nomination by party delegates. The current political landscape is unprecedented, with President Biden stepping aside in a manner never seen before. This moment calls for decisive action to protect the integrity of our democracy and the voices of black voters.

“Now, Democratic Party elites and billionaire donors are attempting to manipulate black voters by anointing Kamala Harris and an unknown vice president as the new Democratic ticket without a primary vote by the public.”

“We do not live in a dictatorship. Delegates are not oligarchs. Any attempt to evade or override the will of voters in our primary system-must be condemned. We demand an informal, virtual snap primary now that the incumbent president is no longer in the running.”

Admit it, couldn’t much of this statement have come from Republicans?

The Biden Coverup and Kamala Harris 2.0

What did the vice president know, and when did she know it?

By Jul 24, 2024 @ Liberty Nation News Tags: Articles, Opinion, Politics

Let’s be honest. From the moment she came into sharp focus upon being selected by Joe Biden as vice president, Kamala Harris has been a laugh line. Why? The widespread perception that she was picked over more qualified candidates strictly because of her race and gender. Her evident lack of substance revealed through her signature word salads. Her disastrous performance as border czar. Her famously ineffective management style that forced one adviser after another to run for the exits. Her inexplicable guffaws when a gracious laugh was called for and expected.

But that’s all over now. She’s a new person, Kamala 2.0, don’t you know? She no longer represents the most target-rich environment for ridicule but rather a rock star, Hollywood on the Potomac, the female Barack Obama — the woman whose mixed-race background and endless enthusiasm for abortion promises to offer broad appeal to left-of-center voters.

With Democrats undoubtedly scrambling to change everything from ballots to lawn signs from Biden-Harris to Harris or Harris-(fill in the blank), a fawning media are doing their part by glamorizing her life story. They will be sure to leave out inconvenient truths like her career-launching relationship with a married man, famed California Democrat Willie Brown, or that her formative years were spent in Canada, or how she has presented herself alternately as a tough-on-crime prosecutor and BLM-inspired progressive.

She will try to be all things to all people but is in danger of winding up where she did in her failed run at the White House: as nothing to nobody. Despite lazy descriptions of her as African-American, she is not — and that matters in the Democrats’ hierarchy of oppression. She has never had particular appeal to minorities or women beyond those who vote primarily on race and gender. Perhaps most damaging is that she is widely viewed as having few core beliefs.

But that was then, and this is now. Harris is a new woman, reborn as the goddess of our progressive future. And so, with the wind at her back during a mini-honeymoon, she will now have a chance to transform her image before an anxious national audience. She will try to do so as shellshocked voters desperately try to add their evaluation of Harris to their processing of the dizzying course of events in this campaign for the ages, from Trump’s conviction to Biden’s debate from hell to the Trump headshot to Biden’s stunning exit from the race.

Questions Demanding Answers

Before anyone is truly convinced of her ability to either beat Trump or serve as president, Kamala will have to answer a series of extremely difficult questions in forthright and intelligible fashion. It will require political skills she has not previously displayed.

  • Exactly when were you aware of President Biden’s cognitive decline?
  • What did you do about it? Whom did you talk to about it?
  • Will you continue to claim you saw no evidence of his deteriorating condition through all of your interactions with him? Congressional Democrats were reportedly startled by his condition as far back as the fall of 2021.
  • If President Biden is not up to running for office, something he denied for months, how exactly is he fit to continue as commander-in-chief? What is your response right now to Robert Hur’s description of your president as an elderly man with a poor memory?
  • As Border Czar (though you reject that title), how much responsibility are you willing to accept for the catastrophe at the southern border, for the millions of illegal immigrants who have poured over the border since the advent of your administration?
  • How responsible are you for a migrant-driven crime wave that has women terrified to go out alone and has driven so many out of once-great cities?
  • Do you agree that inflation was really 9% when you took office, as the president has repeatedly claimed, even though it was reported by the US Bureau of Labor Statistics as 1.4%?
  • Exactly how much responsibility are you willing to accept for inflation that is worse than at any time in 40 years, and rising prices that are forcing Americans to change their lifestyles?

Those are certainly not all the questions facing Kamala as she races out onto the big stage. But if she can navigate those fundamental issues effectively enough to convince Americans — and Democratic leaders well aware of her deficits — that they were wrong about her all along, then her candidacy can be considered a serious threat to Trump. But if she replaces Biden’s stumbles and mumbles with her own circular logic designed to dodge scrutiny, her negative image, like that of her increasingly elite party, will only be reinforced.

How did we get to this point?

Kamala Harris: Product of a Rigged Process

One of the more prominent narratives advanced by the media over the course of the 2024 presidential campaign is that an overwhelming majority of Americans wanted alternatives to both Joe Biden and Donald Trump. Armed with that data-based assumption, how did the two parties respond? After all, they are the only vehicles for managing the political landscape as laid out by public and private polling. And the responses of the two parties could not have been more opposite.

Republicans, shaky about another run by Trump, created a primary framework that attracted well-known alternatives to Trump like Ron DeSantis, Nikki Haley, and Chris Christie. They provided platforms, primaries, and debates. And just like in 2016, the challengers all fell like dominoes before the former president as a martyr for the cause who “took a bullet for democracy,” as he proclaimed at a recent rally, and who has now unmistakably redefined and united the Republican Party.

In striking contrast, Democrats, once perceived as protectors of the downtrodden and dispossessed, are now widely viewed as the true elites. And their primary process only reinforced that reputation. They essentially warned and threatened anyone in their fold, from officeholders to operatives, who would dare consider challenging their president. Dissenters were silenced. There was only a single option. Joe Biden would be the nominee whether rank-and-file Democrats wanted him or not. The one brave soul willing to openly observe that their emperor had no clothes, Rep. Dean Phillips, was marginalized, ostracized, and reportedly threatened with a primary challenge.

The result: Trump and Republicans are more united than ever. Democrats are left with Kamala Harris, a candidate who flamed out mightily in her previous run for the presidency, receiving a grand total of zero delegates in her heavily funded presidential campaign. But now she has wrapped up the nomination in about 24 hours. Maybe it had something to do with the way their nominees were selected. Could Kamala Harris have won an open primary against successful or well-known Democrats like Govs. Gavin Newsom, Gretchen Whitmer, Josh Shapiro, and other rising stars? Few would say yes, and that is why, despite the party’s attempts to put a happy face on the mess they created, so many Americans are flummoxed and so many Democrats are furious.

How California's Paradise Become Our Purgatory

Victor Davis Hanson Victor Davis Hanson Jun 21, 2024

Editor's Note: This appeared at Townhall.com, The opinions expressed by columnists are their own and do not necessarily represent the views of Townhall.com.  I've been given permission by VDH to publish his work in the past, but I've not asked for nor received permission to publish this in full.  However, this along with Daniel Greenfield's article, California Legalized Drugs. Cartels Took It Over, represent views that need the widest distribution possible.  If either the author or Townhall object, I will break it down to a link RK

California has become a test case of the suicide of the West. Never before has such a state, so rich in natural resources and endowed with such a bountiful human inheritance, self-destructed so rapidly.

How and why did California so utterly consume its unmatched natural and ancestral inheritance and end up as a warning to Western civilization of what might be in store for anyone who followed its nihilism?

The symptoms of the state's suicide are indisputable.

Governor Gavin Newsom enjoyed a recent $98 billion budget surplus -- gifted from multibillion-dollar federal COVID-19 subsidies, the highest income and gas taxes in the nation, and among the country's steepest sales and property taxes.

Yet in a year, he turned it into a growing $45 billion budget deficit.

At a time of an over-regulated, overtaxed, and sputtering economy, Newsom spent lavishly on new entitlements, illegal immigrants, and untried and inefficient green projects.

Newsom was endowed with two of the wettest years in recent California history. Yet he and radical environmentalists squandered the water bounty -- as snowmelts and runoff long designated for agricultural irrigation were drained from aqueducts and reservoirs to flow out to sea.

Newsom transferred millions of dollars designated by a voter referendum to build dams and aqueducts for water storage and instead blew up four historic dams on the Klamath River. For decades, these now-destroyed scenic lakes provided clean, green hydroelectric power, irrigation storage, flood control, and recreation.

California hosts one-third of the nation's welfare recipients. Over a fifth of the population lives below the property line. Nearly half the nation's homeless sleep on the streets of its major cities.

The state's downtowns are dirty, dangerous, and increasingly abandoned by businesses -- most recently Google -- that cannot rely on a defunded and shackled police.

Newsom's California has spent billions on homeless relief and subsidizing millions of new illegal migrant arrivals across the state's porous southern border.

The result was predictably even more homeless and more illegal immigrants, all front-loaded onto the state's already overtaxed and broken healthcare, housing, and welfare entitlements.

Newsom raised the minimum wage for fast-food workers to $22 an hour. The result was wage inflation rippling out to all service areas, unaffordable food for the poor, and massive shut-downs and bankruptcies of fast food outlets.

Twenty-seven percent of Californians were born outside of the United States. It is a minority-majority state. Yet California has long dropped unifying civic education, while the bankrupt state funds exploratory commissions to consider divisive racial reparations.

California's universities are hotbeds of ethnic, religious, and racial chauvinism and infighting. State officials, however, did little as its campuses were plagued for months by rampant and violent antisemitism.

Almost nightly, the nation watches mass smash-and-grab attacks on California retail stores. Carjackers and thieves own the night. They are rarely caught, even more rarely arrested -- and almost never convicted.

Currently, Newsom is fighting in the courts to stop the people's constitutional right to place on the ballot initiatives to restore penalties for violent crime and theft.

Gas prices are the highest in the continental United States, given green mandate formulas and the nation's highest, and still raising, gasoline taxes -- and are scheduled to go well over $6 a gallon.

Yet its ossified roads and highways are among the nation's most dangerous, as vast sums of transportation funding were siphoned off to the multibillion-dollar high-speed rail boondoggle.

The state imports almost all the costly vitals of modern life, mostly because it prohibits using California's own vast petroleum, natural gas, timber, and mineral resources.

As California implodes, its embarrassed government turns to the irrelevant, if not ludicrous.

It now outlaws natural gas stoves in new homes. It is adding new income-based surcharges for those who dutifully pay their power bills -- to help subsidize the 2.5 million Californians who simply default on their energy bill with impunity.

What happened to the once-beautiful California paradise?

Millions of productive but frustrated, overtaxed, and underserved middle-class residents have fled to low-crime, low-tax, and well-served red states in disgust.

In turn, millions of illegal migrants have swarmed the state, given its sanctuary-city policies, refusal to enforce the law, and generous entitlements.

Meanwhile, a tiny coastal elite, empowered by $9 trillion in Silicon Valley market capitalization, fiddled while their state burned.

California became a medieval society of plutocratic barons, subsidized peasants, and a shrinking and fleeing middle class. It is now home to a few rich estates, subsidized apartments, and unaffordable middle-class houses.

California suffers from poorly ranked public schools -- but brags about its prestigious private academies. Its highways are lethal -- but it hosts the most private jets in the nation.

The fantasies of a protected enclave of Gavin Newsom, Nancy Pelosi, and the masters of the Silicon Valley universe have become the abject nightmares of everyone else.

In sum, a privileged Bay Area elite inherited a California paradise and turned it into purgatory.

The Left’s Ominous Plan B, Should Trump Again Become President

Inside and outside the halls of power, progressives are working to Trump-proof the government.

By | Jun 17, 2024 @ Liberty Nation News, Tags:  Articles, Good Reads, Opinion, Politics

During Donald Trump’s four years in the White House – and ever since – Democrats and left-wing pundits have often described his presidency as a time of chaos. Considering everything that has happened in the United States and the wider world since Joe Biden took over at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave., this portrayal of the Trump years is both hilarious and tragic. In truth, those on the political left did everything they could to create chaos during the Trump years – and they intend to repeat those efforts should the 45th president become the 47th.

There is plenty of evidence to support that prediction, but first, consider everything that was done to hinder the previous president and his agenda. Most notably, of course, were his two impeachments by the Democrat-controlled House of Representatives – the second time, just a week before Trump’s term in office was due to expire.

Neither impeachment was based on any hard evidence of wrongdoing but, rather, on how Democrats and their witnesses chose to interpret – or perhaps misinterpret – Trump’s intent. Both impeachments led to acquittals in the Senate, but these were merely the two most prominent attempts to derail Trump’s presidency.

According to a December 2020 report from The Hill, 103 multi-state lawsuits were filed against the Trump administration in its first three years – 96 of which were initiated by Democrat attorneys general. This far exceeds the number of multi-state suits brought against both President Obama and President George W. Bush during their entire eight years in the White House. The report also notes: “Democratic attorneys general sued Trump 40 times in his first year in office alone, more lawsuits than have ever been filed against an administration in a single year.” The state of California alone sued the Trump administration 100 times.

The Fearmongering Media

The anti-Trump media has for months been pumping out wild theories about the tyrannical dystopia Americans will face if Orange Man Bad returns to the Oval Office. One need only do an Internet search for the phrase, “if Trump wins,” to discover a festival of fearmongering. Allegedly, the 45th president’s second non-consecutive term will result in, among other things, the shredding of the Constitution, the persecution and imprisonment of Trump’s critics and political opponents, the abandoning of international treaties and organizations, and the wholesale destruction of the environment. Another dire prediction for the return of Trump is the stripping away of all manner of “rights.” (In quotation marks because the so-called rights under threat have little to do with individual liberty and more to do with standards of behavior to which progressives have decided they are entitled).

Aside from the fever dreams of left-wing journalists and activists, though, what evidence is there that Mr. Trump’s opponents intend to deliver four more years of obstructionism and legal turmoil?

The Plan to Contain Trump

Take a June 12 article from Washington’s most prominent left-wing newspaper: “Why scientists fear a second Trump term, and what they are doing about it.” The subtitle of this article says it all: “Several federal agencies are working to safeguard research, including climate science, from future political meddling.” When a new contract was drawn up in June between the federal government and “the union representing nearly half of Environmental Protection Agency employees,” provisions were included that would “ensure workers can report any meddling without fear of ‘retribution, reprisal, or retaliation,’ are ‘a way for us to get in front of a second Trump administration and protect our workers.’” The quoted words are those of Marie Owens Powell, president of the American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE) Council 238.

If a future Trump administration changes the policies or practices at a federal government agency, is that “meddling”? Would this attitude extend to any and all attempts by Trump and his Cabinet members to make changes at any federal department or agency? If Trump’s previous White House tenure is anything to go by, then yes, it presumably would.

The New York Times on June 16 published an article with the title: “The Resistance to a New Trump Administration Has Already Started.” It describes “extraordinary preemptive actions” being taken by “an emerging coalition that views Donald J Trump’s agenda as a threat to democracy.”

Aside from whatever else is being formulated within the corridors of Deep State power, there is absolutely no reason not to expect a rerun of 2016-2020. That is, a fresh and unrelenting barrage of lawsuits. The New York Times observes that the American Civil Liberties Union, the National Immigration Law Centre, and Democracy Forward – an organization formed after Trump’s 2016 electoral victory specifically to tie his administration up in lawsuits – are already preparing to challenge Trump policy initiatives in court.

There is always the specter of impeachment, of course, should the Democrats find themselves with a majority in the House of Representatives at any point during another Trump term. Indeed, if Trump does win in November and Democrats, at the same time, manage to eke out a majority in the lower chamber, how many Americans – be they Republican or Democrat – would bet against pledges to impeach Trump being issued even before his inauguration?

Trump supporters might do well to temper their expectations, should their man become the next president. The progressive left may have to relinquish political power if that comes to pass, but it will still wield enormous bureaucratic, regulatory, and activist power – enough to make Trump’s legendary vow to Make America Great Again an uphill battle.

The lesson here goes far beyond the partisan politics of the day. It is bigger than Donald Trump, bigger than Joe Biden, and bigger than any ideological differences. The bureaucratic class – one of the most important components of what has come to be known as the Deep State – has spent decades consolidating its power to the point where it is virtually untouchable, even by politicians elected to the highest offices in the land.

Morris: Liberal Secular Jews Growing Disillusioned with the Left

Emma-Jo Morris

A deluge of stories and columns have been published throughout Western media with the same refrain over the past week: indifference among those on the left after the barbaric attack by Hamas on Israeli civilians has liberal Jews taking a second look at their political alliances.

The Times of London, the New York Times, Tablet, and the Free Press (founded by former Times editor Bari Weiss) have all, in the past week, featured pieces detailing how secular Jews in the West — generational liberals who were always supportive of myriad social justice causes championed by progressives — are shocked and repulsed by their political “allies'” dismissal of the violence inflicted on their families in Israel by despicable antisemite terrorists.

Western secular Jews have long been left-wing; their culture is socially liberal, humanist, intellectual, generous, and communal, which has always led them into the arms of various left-wing parties in the countries where they live. They have historically played key roles in civil rights movements, have been some of the most prominent voices for civil liberties, and, more recently, have, by and large, been supportive of the modern iterations of left-wing social movements.

But after October 7, as every Jew in the diaspora went through collective loss, grief, and mourning, Jews watched virtually every left-wing institution and personality either dismiss or justify the atrocities performed by Hamas. They witnessed their people, their families, being raped, kidnapped, mutilated, and murdered in the most sadistic ways they could never imagine, and their left-wing “allies” lining up behind the perpetrators — because “resistance” against “colonialists” and “occupiers” is justified...........To Read More....

The 2024 Election, Democrat Corruption, and the Trump Derangement Syndrome

By Rich Kozlovich

I posted this article, Knives Out: Left Moves to Disqualify Trump, by To show just how unhinged these people are a "MSNBC columnist Dean Obeidallah claims Donald Trump "must die in prison" to "protect the Democratic Republic."'

'If you oppose us, you’re going to jail for a long time'!  And this persecution of Donald Trump is part and parcel of that entire corrupt package.  What's the corrupt package?  A police state where no opposition will be tolerated to their destruction of America.

Strategic Lawsuit Against Public Participation.  While SLAPP is a civil issue to silence opponents, Lawfare is a criminal version of that to crush individuals or groups by attempting to imprison them and bankrupt them at the same time.  Socialist imposed tyranny via the corrupt judiciary of the federal government, and  Judge Tanya Chutkan, is a perfect example of that corruption.  She's a known Trump hater, and the progeny of America hating communists, and by every standard should be disqualified from sitting in on this case, and her judicial decisions show the only bench she should be allowed to sit on is a park bench.

Knives Out: Left Moves to Disqualify Trump

And we thought the Dems actually wanted to run against Trump.

If you’re not sure you can beat him, then disqualify him. Indeed, the latest gambit by the left in their addled state of Trump derangement is to weaponize the so-called insurrection clause in the Constitution’s 14th Amendment to wipe Donald Trump off the ballot. And it comes as polls show Trump paradoxically gaining strength every time his enemies figure out another novel legal theory by which they can arrest him for criminal conduct – and now leading in a majority of recent polls. A group of citizens in Colorado, backed by an ethics watchdog group, are the latest to erupt with a frenzied initiative asserting that Trump must not be allowed to appear on the 2024 presidential ballot in the Rocky Mountain State – and several other states ruled by Democrats appear set to make the same case. A trip all the way up the ladder to the US Supreme Court appears inevitable.

While we are keenly aware of the lengths to which Trump’s enemies will go to take him down, this latest initiative to employ the Constitution in service of canceling the most popular Republican in the country is most confusing. That’s because it comes after we’ve been hearing for months on end about a very different grand plan cooked up by Democrats for vanquishing their mortal enemy. They once believed that arresting him – four times to date, each time applying the law as never before – in order to stoke a conservative backlash would lead to his nomination – and then, viewing him as the most vulnerable Republican, they would defeat him in November.

To Trump or Not to Trump

So, which is it? Do the Dems still want to all but force Republicans to back the 45th president? Or do they want him off the ballot?

Well, it now appears they are not sure, and are in a state of panic because their grand plan is not just failing – it has produced the opposite of the desired effect: the growing perception that the transparently political nature of the 91 charges leveled against Trump is overkill, crying wolf, and most importantly, is making them look more corrupt than the man they are constantly arresting. And for those who stubbornly argue that the four indictments are from varying jurisdictions, and therefore not coordinated by the White House, the timing of the federal trial on January 6-related charges should remove any last shred of doubt. The Obama-appointed judge has set the trial to begin the day before Super Tuesday, the pinnacle of the presidential primary season. Apparently, the left no longer even cares how nakedly political their use of banana republic-style police power to silence and disqualify their political enemy appears to the populace.

Crime Calculus a Catastrophe in Democrat Cities

It all adds up to misery for residents, and now the menace is affecting those who enabled it.

Numbers are being crunched along with the bodies, and the woes for citizens living in Democrat-controlled cities racked by runaway crime just keep multiplying.

An Illinois website called Wirepoints laid it out plainly on Sept. 5. “The decision to commit a crime in Chicago has never been easier. Criminals are almost guaranteed to profit because the chances of getting caught and punished have collapsed to near-zero,” the research and commentary site wrote. The authors were willing to show their math.

Odds Overwhelmingly With Lawbreakers

“The chance of getting arrested in Chicago for a major crime collapsed to just 5 percent in 2022. It was already a low 10 percent just four years ago,” Ted Dabrowski and John Klingner observed. “More than 68,000 major crimes were reported in Chicago last year. Only 3,228 of them resulted in arrests. Wirepoints’ calculations are based on the Chicago City Data Portal: Crime – 2001 to Present.”

Wait, there’s more:

“The arrest rate for criminal sexual assault? Just 3 percent. Ditto for Motor Vehicle Thefts. Burglaries were at only 4 percent and Robberies, 5 percent.

“For thefts over $500, the chance of getting busted is even lower, at just 1 percent. There were just 201 arrests out of 20,041 crimes reported last year. And you’ll avoid arrest 96 times out of 100 across any form of theft, which The New York Times recently reported.”

Amazingly, the possibility of getting caught and facing prison time — a traditional deterrent for those mulling committing a crime — has become so insignificant in the Windy City that it is no longer a serious consideration. This means it is truly open season on law-abiding residents of the third-largest city in the United States.

Crime Pandemic by the Pacific

Meanwhile, in Seattle, the picture is every bit as bleak. On Aug. 31, the Seattle Police Department stated that the Pacific Northwest city had reached 50 homicides for the year, with four months remaining on the calendar. Seattle had 52 homicides in all of 2022.

Criminals “no longer fear the police because they understand that the police are literally handcuffed for being able to effectively do our jobs so they’re emboldened,” Seattle Police Officers Guild (SPOG) President Mike Solan told KOMO radio.

“Officials with the SPOG estimate the department has lost around 600 officers since 2020,” the station reports......Public safety is on the precipice of falling further behind and I think our community is really at risk here,” Solan added.

While woke Chicago may be unwilling to enforce the law, progressive Seattle is flat-out unable to, no matter how it may feel about “criminal justice reform” at the moment, due to the severe manpower shortages caused by the wave of officer departures.

The effects are the same.

“There’s people out there that think that they’re not going to get caught,” Jim Fuda of Crime Stoppers Puget Sound told KOMO. “I mean, you see it in the robberies that are going on and even the children that are stealing cars, and now the home invasion robberies are up.”

More than 3 million people, the combined populations of these two leftist cities, are being left completely vulnerable to every form of crime imaginable, from the vexing annoyances of everyday theft to the unspeakable horrors of sexual assault and murder.

Where does it stop? Sadly, nothing is going to change until this plague hits those responsible for allowing it to fester where they live. We take no joy in relating that a highly placed Minnesota progressive political official has just received such a dose of hard medicine.

‘In the Driveway of Our Home’

“Look at my face. These criminals will not win. We need to take back our city. And this will not be the last you hear from me about this.” So wrote Shivanthi Sathanandan, the 2nd Vice Chairwoman for the Minnesota Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party, i.e., the Democratic Party, in the North Star State.

Sathanandan said she was “violently carjacked” on Sept. 5 while with her children “in the driveway of our home in Minneapolis.

“Four very young men, all carrying guns, beat me violently down to the ground in front of our kids. The young men held our neighbors up at gunpoint when they ran over and tried to help me. All in broad daylight,” Sathanandan exclaimed.

“I have a broken leg, deep lacerations on my head, bruising and cuts all over my body. And I have rage.”

But where was this rage when you and your fellow Minneapolis Democrats were putting the regular citizenry in harm’s way? Yes, Sathanandan was among the progressives who fashionably called for the elimination of the Minneapolis Police Department in the wake of the death of George Floyd in 2020. “Say it with me. Dismantle the Minneapolis Police Department,” she wrote in a Facebook post at the time. “It has ‘systematically failed the black community,’ so it’s ‘time to build a new infrastructure that works for all communities.’” “Social justice” preening can be an emotionally rewarding experience for leftist political figures. But reality strikes like a punch to the face.

Unfortunately, Sathanandan has now received that punch and much worse. It will likely have to be this way in modern war zones such as Los Angeles and San Francisco as well. It seems those seeking to turn America into Brazil to satisfy radical and/or elitist political agendas won’t be pulled away from their self-satisfying agendas until the blood starts to wash up on the luxury vehicles parked inside their gated communities.

The Frightened Left

Weaponizing impeachment is just one of many precedents that Leftists now would not wish to have applied to themselves

An impeachment inquiry looms and the shrieks of outrage are beginning.  The Left is now suddenly voicing warnings that those who recently undermined the system could be targeted by their own legacies.  So, for example, now we read why impeachment is suddenly a dangerous gambit.

True, the Founders did not envision impeaching a first-term president the moment he lost his House majority. Nor did they imagine impeaching a president twice. And they certainly did not anticipate trying an ex-president in the Senate as a private citizen.

In modern times, the nation has not rushed to impeach a president without a special counsel investigation to determine whether the chief executive was guilty of “Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.”

But thanks to the Democrats, recent impeachments now have destroyed all those guardrails. After all, Trump was impeached the first time on the fumes of an exhaustive but fruitless 22-month, $40 million special counsel investigation—one designed to find him guilty of Russian “collusion” and thus to be removed from office but found no actionable offenses at all.

Instead, dejected Democrats moved immediately for a second try. In September 2019 a few weeks after Trump had announced his 2020 reelection bid, the Democratic House began to impeach the president on the new grounds that he had talked to the President Zelensky of Ukraine and said he might delay offensive arms shipments—unless the Ukrainians could demonstrate that they had ended corruption and, in particular, were no longer influenced by the Biden family quid pro quo shakedowns.

Trump was proven right: the Biden family is not just corrupt, but, in particular, Joe Biden as head of the family and Vice President had intervened in the internal politics of an aid recipient, by threatening not to delay but rather to cancel outright all U.S. aid to Ukraine—unless it fired Viktor Shokin, a Ukrainian prosecutor.

Shokin was then looking into the misadventures of Biden’s son Hunter, and why the Vice President’s imbecilic son was receiving lucrative compensation on the boards of a Ukrainian energy company Burisma, yet without any demonstrable expertise or education in matters of energy policy.

Since Trump was impeached, we now know that Joe Biden did lie that he had no connection with or even knowledge of his son’s business. And we know that the fired prosecutor believed the Bidens were recipients of bribes. We know that contrary to Biden’s assertions, he was not following State Department policy.

In contrast, the U.S. had, in fact, lauded Shokin’s efforts to repress corruption. In sum, Biden was undermining the stated policy of the U.S. government to protect his son’s—and his own—efforts to leverage money from Kyiv by monetizing the influence of his own Vice Presidency. In some sense, Biden was guilty of the very “treason” charge—altering U.S. foreign policy for personal benefit—by which Rep. Adam Schiff had earlier falsely accused Trump.

Given that reality, it is easy to argue that the House impeached Donald Trump in 2019 for crimes that he did not commit, but which the current president Joe Biden most certainly had during his Vice Presidency.

But weaponizing impeachment is just one baleful legacy of the Left. There are plenty more of their own precedents that Leftists now would not wish to have applied to themselves:

  • Will the next president have the FBI pay social media censors to suppress the dissemination of any news it feels is unhelpful to the reelection of a Republican president?
  • Is it OK now for the next Vice President to invite his son onto Air Force Two to cement multimillion dollars deals that benefit both, with Chinese, Russian, and Ukrainian oligarchs who enjoy government ties?
  • Should a conservative billionaire stealthily insert $419 million late in the 2024 campaign to absorb the work of registrars in key voting precincts?
  • If a Democratic president wins the 2024 election should conservative groups riot at the Capitol on Inauguration Day? Should a conservative celebrity yell out to the assembled crowd of protestors that she dreams of blowing up the White House? And if a Republican wins, should he prosecute any Democratic rioters who once again swarm Washington on Inauguration Day and charge them with “insurrection,” meting out long prisons sentences to the convicted?
  • Is Joe Biden now vulnerable to being impeached for systematic family corruption, or using the Department of Justice to obstruct the prosecution of his son in his last days in office, and then being tried in the Senate as a private citizen?
  • If the Republicans gain the Senate, will they move to end the filibuster in agreement with Democratic assertions that it is “racist” and a “Jim Crow relic”?
  • If the midwestern Electoral College “Blue Wall” seems to reappear, or if Georgia, Arizona, and Nevada recreate new blue walls, will there be a conservative effort to end the constitutionally mandated Electoral College?
  • If in 2024 there is a narrow Democratic win in the Electoral College, should conservative celebrities conspire to run ads urging the electors to reject their constitutional duties and not vote in accordance with their state’s popular vote that went Democratic? Should a Republican third-party candidate sue to stop a state’s selection of its electors on grounds the voting machines were rigged?
  • If Supreme Court decisions begin to appear to favor the left, will Republicans talk of packing the court, or have the DOJ turn a blind eye when mobs began to swarm the homes of liberal justices? Should the conservative media go after liberal judges with serial accusations of corruption? Should the Republican Senate leader assemble a mob of pro-life protestors at the doors of the court and call out Justices Sotomayor or Jackson by name, with threats that they will soon reap the whirlwind they have sowed, given they have no idea of what is about to “hit” them? Should conservative legal scholars urge the country to ignore Supreme Court decisions deemed liberal?
  • Will local prosecutors in red jurisdictions begin filing criminal charges against leading Democratic candidates on various charges, among them accusations of old inflated real estate assessments, campaign finance laws, questioning ballot results, or taking classified documents home? If Joe Biden or Hillary Clinton were to run in 2024, will their past illicit behavior gain the attention of a city or state attorney in Utah, West Virginia, or Wyoming?
  • If Joe Biden continues to decline at his present rate, will Republicans demand he be given the Montreal Cognitive Assessment? Will they subpoena Ivy League psychiatrists to testify that an intervention is needed to remove him from office? And will an FBI director and a deputy Attorney General plan to wear wires, and record Biden in his private moments of senility, as a way of convincing the cabinet or Congress that he is demonstrably mentally unfit for office?
  • In the 2024 election, should the Republican nominee hire a foreign ex-spy to compile falsehoods about the Democratic opponent and then seed them among the media, and Department of Justice? Should the FBI hire such a Republican contractor and likewise use him to gather dirt on the Democratic nominee?
  • If there appears incriminating evidence concerning a Republican nominee, should the FBI retrieve such evidence, keep it under wraps, lie about its veracity, and instead go along with media and ex-intelligence officers assertions that it is a fraudulent production of Russian intelligence?
  • Will conservative CIA and FBI directors, and the Director of National Intelligence be given exemptions from prosecutions for systematically lying while under oath in Congress or to federal investigators?
  • Will conservative celebrities ritually on social media, without fear of censorship, brag about ways of decapitating, shooting, stabbing, burning, or blowing up the Democratic nominee?
  • Since in many states the statues of limitations have not yet expired for arson, murder, assault, looting, and attacks on 1,500 police officers during the summer 2020 riots, will state prosecutors now begin identifying those 14,000 once arrested and mostly released, and begin refiling charges of conspiracy, racketeering—and “insurrection”?
  • Will they also file insurrection charges against those who torched a federal courthouse, a police precinct, and a historic Washington DC church, or conspired to riot and swarm the White House grounds in an effort to attack the President of the United States?
  • Will they file charges against Vice President Kamala Harris for “inciting” ongoing violent demonstrations with monotonous, emphatic, and repetitive threats in the weeks before her nomination? Contrary to liberal “fact checkers” at time of nationwide violence, Harris certainly did not distinguish violent from non-violent protests, but in fact implied that they were intimately tied to the upcoming election and beyond. So given the hundreds of police officers injured, the hundreds of millions in property damage, and the dozens killed, what exactly did Harris mean by tying that ongoing summer of often violent protests to Election Day?:

“But they’re not gonna stop. They’re not gonna stop, and this is a movement, I’m telling you. They’re not gonna stop, and everyone beware, because they’re not gonna stop. They’re not gonna stop before Election Day in November, and they’re not gonna stop after Election Day. Everyone should take note of that, on both levels, that they’re not going to let up — and they should not. And we should not.”

Was the above more or less inflammatory than Trump’s January 6 remarks for which in part he is under indictment: “We fight like hell. And if you don’t fight like hell, you’re not going to have a country anymore…I know that everyone here will soon be marching over to the Capitol building to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard”?

In sum, the Democratic leadership along with the media long ago deemed that Donald Trump posed such an existential threat to democracy that they were entitled to destroy democratic norms to destroy him.

Their actions were predicated on three assumptions:

  • one, they had that right because they were more sophisticated, morally superior, and smarter than the rest of America and thus deserved the exemption to blow up customs and norms to achieve the “correct” ends;
  • two, whatever damage they did to long-standing protocols of equal justice under the law paled in comparison to the damage that Trump supposedly would or did do; and
  • three, their conservative opposition either lacked the wherewithal, the brains, or the audacity to emulate such behavior and thus there was no worry anyone would dare do to them what they did to others.

And now? For the first time, given recent polls, the Left is scared that a Republican House and perhaps soon a Republican Senate and White House might follow its own precedents, and use new leftwing guidelines to enact conservative agendas.

Eco-Terrorists Crowdsource Harassment and Terror

By June 25, 2023 @ Sultan Knish Blog

Some leftist groups beat around the bush about what they stand for and what they do.

Not ‘Climate Defiance’ which is running a fundraiser to ‘Make Complicit Climate Cowards’ Lives F____g Miserable’.

The ecoterrorist group which boasts of having “fully shut down Joe Manchin’s keynote” and “made pipeline lover Amy Klobuchar flee the stage at her own book launch party” is also pretty clear about what donors can buy by funding the environmentalist group.

For $100, you get “photography for one direct action” while $1,000 buys you a “whole keynote speech shutdown, soup-to-nuts”.

Funding for this illegal activity is being processed by Stripe and PayPal. Both companies have a history of suspending conservatives, but have no objection to allowing leftists to directly subsidize harassment of elected officials. When contacted for a comment, they did not reply.

But Climate Defiance’s operations also share a funding platform with the DNC.

Climate Defiance announced its fundraiser for a “a bold action to blockade the White House Correspondents Dinner on April 29th to call attention to President Biden’s failed campaign promise to stop drilling on Federal Lands” on the Action Network.

That same month, Declare Emergency, another eco terrorist group, made headlines by vandalizing Degas’ Little Dancer sculpture case at the National Gallery of Art. Even though the two perpetrators were indicted by a federal grand jury, no action was taken against the group despite its flyers being left at the scene and Declare Emergency urging others to follow suit.

Declare Emergency has retained its 501(c)(4) status despite this criminal activity. Tax code regulations clearly state that illegal and criminal activity voids any such status, but as the David Horowitz Freedom Center’s IRS investigations have shown, leftist eco-terrorists, actual terrorists and pedophiles have been able to retrain C3 and C4 status no matter what their crimes are.

The eco terrorist group linked to the Degas attack, like Climate Defiance, fundraises through Action Network. And they are not alone. Freedom Center investigations have shown that Black Lives Matter, the Women’s March, the DSA and Communist Party USA and Antifa all fundraise through the Action Network. As does the Democratic National Committee.

The Action Network, like Climate Defiance and Declare Emergency, is a 501(c)(4) and it shows the entanglement of the Democrat establishment with the far Left even when its extremists are targeting Senate Democrats and the White House for not adopting their full radical agenda.

The eco terrorists aren’t just funneling money through 501(c)(4)s, but have received funding from an actual 501(c)(3) organization that has to meet the gold standard of charitable activities.

Eco-terrorism and any kind of illegal actions are very definitely not on the list.

Climate Defiance, currently crowdsourcing the harassment of elected officials, received a grant from the Climate Emergency Fund. The Climate Emergency Fund is a 501(c)(3) backed by, among others, Aileen Getty, a Getty Oil heiress, Rory Kennedy, the daughter of the deceased senator, and leftist director Adam McKay.

Its support for eco terrorism has never been subtle and the Freedom Center had previously exposed its funding of attacks on paintings in Europe by Just Stop Oil. Like Climate Defiance and Declare Emergency, Just Stop Oil engages in ‘direct action’ and made headlines by splashing tomato soup on Van Gogh’s Sunflowers painting in London’s National Gallery.

The Climate Emergency Fund has been linked to the funding of numerous ecoterrorist activities around the country, including the Atlanta Forest Defenders, who were described in an arrest affidavit as a “group classified by the United States Department of Homeland Security as Domestic Violent Extremists” after violent riots and assaults that ended in at least one death.

But Climate Defiance, a listed CEF grantee, is further testing whether the IRS will cover for leftists or enforce the law by directly targeting.Senator Manchin, Senator Klobuchar and brags of having shut down “keynote addresses by Biden’s two top climate advisors”.

The Biden administration and the IRS could easily put a stop to this if they choose to. The violations are blatant and pulling the Climate Emergency Fund’s nonprofit status is as straightforward as it gets. The tax code and precedent make it abundantly clear that illegal activities and protests are incompatible with tax-exempt status for charities.

The Fund has lied to the IRS by falsely claiming in its 990s that it “supports only nonviolent, legal activities”. Even the briefest glance at its grantees and partners, and its own rhetoric, makes it clear that it supports organizations engaged in illegal activities.

And that was obvious even before Climate Defiance began crowdsourcing “Make Complicit Climate Cowards’ Lives F____g Miserable” which offered donors the opportunity to donate $1,000 to fund the shutdown of an event by public officials.

Why won’t the Biden administration stop this even when its own personnel are being targeted?

The American Left is the tail that wags the Democrat dog. The Biden administration would rather be slapped around by its own political extremists than take action against them. Biden’s Justice Department tried to go after mothers protesting at school board meetings as domestic terrorists, but doesn’t have anything to say when actual leftist domestic terrorists target it.

The Climate Emergency Fund is also funded by the Democrat donors that Biden and his party are not about to offend. That includes Aileen Getty, who has provided generous support to Obama, Biden, Elizabeth Warren, Raphel Warnock and others. In an op-ed after the National Gallery attack, Getty defended the vandalism of a classic painting and admitted that “I proudly provide funding to the Climate Emergency Fund” which makes grants to vandals including “Just Stop Oil”, but claimed that she does “not fund these groups directly” and does not control them.

That has always been the familiar excuse of the funders of terrorist groups around the world.

While Democrats and their media continue to posture about an insurrection, their donors and their platforms are funding an actual insurrection that includes eco terrorists targeting Congress and even occupying Pelosi’s office. This continuing green assault is made possible by the complicity of the IRS in allowing 501(c)(3) charities and 501(c)(4) platforms and activist groups to continue funding vandalism, riots and attacks on elected officials.

The real Complicit Climate Cowards are in the IRS. Those complicit climate cowards are the reason why art is under siege and events are closed down. The IRS has ignored the law, allowed eco terrorists to abuse the tax code, to destroy culture and intimidate elected officials.

The vandalism of paintings, the disruption of events and the attacks on Congress could be stopped very easily. The IRS could end it in a month if it enforced the law, but the same organization that sends chills down the spines of ordinary taxpayers is terrified of using its nearly limitless power to hold even the worst leftist nonprofit abusers accountable.
