Don’t Send Aid to Afghanistan

An earthquake hit Afghanistan. The Taliban are claiming 800 dead and thousands injured. The Europeans and other countries are promising to send aid.

And the United States of America should refuse to join them.

Casualty numbers coming out of the Taliban are as worthless as those coming from Hamas in Gaza or the Houthis in Yemen. Terrorists always lie, trying to make us feel sorry and guilty, just before they try to kill us. And the nonprofits, including the UN, that work in those areas are rotten with terrorists and their useful idiots, and should never be believed about anything.

But even if half of Afghanistan were dead or dying, we should not send a single penny because none of the aid will go to earthquake victims, no more than the food sent to Gaza or Yemen went to regular people, it will go to the terrorists who use it to fund their Islamic terror state.

And a generation after 9/11, the Taliban are not only back in power, but they are harboring Al Qaeda and any money we send can be used to harbor the terrorists who continue to kill us.

The latest SIGAR (Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction) report documented that the Taliban, like Islamic terrorists everywhere, divert aid, tax nonprofits, force them to hire their own terrorists as employees and use the aid we send as an asset.

The Taliban don’t care about their own people, that’s why they used them as human shields when fighting us, it’s why they use them as human shields now because they know we care. The sight of a crying child in Afghanistan, Yemen, Gaza or anywhere in the world touches us.

But to our enemies, it’s just another weapon.

Our efforts to rebuild Afghanistan paradoxically financed the Taliban’s comeback. The more we tried to send food, open schools and build wells, the more money flowed to the Taliban. While our idiot politicians and generals insisted that we could “win the hearts and minds” of the Afghans by showering them with aid, the Taliban took that aid and bought themselves an army.

We tried to “win hearts and minds”. The Taliban won the war. And got all the bodies.

After Afghanistan fell, we should have learned a lesson, but as Freedom Center Investigates documented, the Biden administration sent $3.7 billion to Afghanistan after the takeover.

Biden stole money from 9/11 victims for the Taliban, he arranged to print currency for the Taliban, booked seats on Osama’s old airline and enabled the shipment of billions in hundred dollar bills via the United Nations. No Saudi billionaire was half as clever at financing Islamic terrorists as the Obama and the Biden administrations were at abusing taxpayer money.

Since Trump took office, the Taliban have been struggling. They were even desperate enough to go to a global warming conference to ask for money. The earthquake may be catastrophic for the ordinary Afghans affected by it, but it’s a blessing for the Taliban who will now be able to cash in on aid from the European Union, Japan and anyone stupid enough to send help.

America is the motherlode. Our politicians dispense foreign aid on a scale no one else can. We were the gushing well that the UN and dozens of ‘humanitarian groups’ used as the pipeline to aid terrorists worldwide. President Trump and DOGE began putting a stop to it. And that’s good.

Sending aid to enemy nations doesn’t help: it makes things much worse every single time.

When the Communists took over the Soviet Union and a famine broke out, they might have lost power, but the United States organized a massive famine relief effort, which, at least under Hoover was intended to keep Communists out of the loop, but under FDR no longer did, and the result was that the Communists remained in power for generations leading to millions dead and a Cold War that might have climaxed in a nuclear war that could have destroyed America.

After Mao’s Great Famine in China, it was Canada’s turn to bail out the Communist dictatorship with massive shipments of wheat even as the PRC was sending its ‘foreign aid’ to Cuba. The end result was that the People’s Republic of China survived, industrialized and became a grave threat to the free world. That may yet lead to a devastating world war or the fall of the West.

Our insistence on aiding the Muslim world made it wealthy enough to finance terrorism and spread the influence of its violent and hateful doctrines to our own nations and cities. After a generation of failed foreign policy operations in which we could literally track how our aid went into the hands of terrorists, there are plenty of politicians and professional humanitarians who are already demanding that we send aid to Afghanistan because surely it will be different now.

These claims are accompanied by outright lies, long since disproven, that the aid doesn’t go to terrorists or benefit terrorists, and that by sending aid we can liberalize the Taliban or undermine their rule. All of this is absolutely false. SIGAR and journalists, including those at the David Horowitz Freedom Center, have long since documented how the Taliban appropriates aid.

Sending aid will not ‘liberalize’ the Taliban. The Taliban initially pretended to be more moderate in the hopes of extracting more aid from us. When they saw that it wasn’t coming, they stopped pretending and began publicly lashing women, but we should not confuse this deception with any meaningful change in the nature of the Islamic supremacist regime that runs Afghanistan.

The Taliban tell us what they think will make us give them money. It doesn’t reflect either their actual nature or the reality on the ground. What we know about Afghanistan comes from the Taliban and from employees of ‘humanitarian groups’ who are also members of the Taliban.

These ‘UN Taliban’ brief western supervisors who then relay this information in quotes to the media. This method of whitewashing terrorist propaganda is also routinely used in Gaza. By putting westerners, especially women, from groups like the UN or the Red Cross out front, viewers believe that they’re relaying their own experiences, when in reality they’re usually nowhere near the affected areas, they’re closely supervised by the terrorists when they do travel, and they are handfed reports by their ‘employees’ who actually work for the Taliban.

Finally, sending aid will not only not undermine Taliban rule, it will secure it because the Islamic supremacist regime will use that aid to help its own supporters, and to bribe clans and groups into supporting it. The Communist regimes in Russia and China pretended that the western food was actually coming from their own agricultural projects and proved the power of Communism.

We did not discredit Communism by providing aid to Communists and we won’t discredit Islam by providing aid to Islamists. If we want to defeat our enemies, one elementary place to start is by not sending them aid no matter how much they whine, wail or guilt trip us. Guilt is the great industry of the postmodern West. It’s also the religion of those with no religions.

But sending aid to Afghanistan is not merciful to those living there or to us. Afghanistan’s best hope and our best interest is that the Jihadists running it should fall. The Taliban’s best hope and interest is that we send them ‘humanitarian aid’ that they use to fund their terrorist regime.

We tried defeating them with aid, but the best hope of beating them is to end all aid.

Willful Blindness’ Describes Disastrous Afghanistan Retreat

What happened, how it happened, and who made it happen is not a pretty story.

The House Foreign Affairs Committee (HFAC) released its long-awaited final report on the Biden-Harris planning and management of the chaotic 2021 Afghanistan withdrawal. It isn’t pretty. Though the timeframe for the US departure from Afghanistan after 20 years of conflict encompassed several presidential administrations, the failure of leadership, decision-making, and operational execution was wholly that of the Biden-Harris administration. The public hearings, transcribed interviews, and document discovery dispute any attempt to place the blame elsewhere.

Evaluation of Afghanistan Retreat

For the past two years, the HFAC has been tireless in its efforts to find out just what happened in the waning days of summer 2021 when the Biden-Harris administration withdrew American citizens, military forces, civilians, diplomats, and friendly Afghan refugees. The HFAC’s research and conclusions in its blistering report, “Willful Blindness: An Assessment of the Biden-Harris Administration’s Withdrawal From Afghanistan and the Chaos That Followed,” are unsurprising for those who followed the numerous hearings. These insights from the assessment’s executive summary are typical of the critical findings. It is a sobering story of the Biden-Harris administration’s haphazard, bumbling, and dismissive attitude toward the safety of US personnel as it scrambled to get out of Afghanistan. The report explains:

“The Biden-Harris administration was determined to withdraw from Afghanistan, with or without the Doha Agreement and no matter the cost … The Biden-Harris administration prioritized the optics of the withdrawal over the security of the US personnel on the ground … In the aftermath of the withdrawal, US national security was degraded as Afghanistan once again became a haven for terrorists … America’s credibility on the world stage was severely damaged after we abandoned Afghan allies to Taliban reprisal killings – the people of Afghanistan we had promised to protect.”

Among the disturbing findings was the revelation that the “Biden-Harris administration misled and, in some instances, directly lied to the American people at every stage of the withdrawal, from the go-to-zero order until today.” Pulling no punches, the report calls out National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan as the “source of the majority of that misinformation campaign.”

The assessment said the “Biden-Harris administration’s failure to prepare for a NEO [non-combatant emergency evacuation] and order a timely NEO created an unsafe environment at HKIA [Hamid Karzai International Airport], exposing US Defense Department and State Department personnel to lethal threats and emotional harm.” As a result, poor planning and failure to secure the international airport led directly to the deaths of 13 US servicemembers, “murdered by a terrorist attack on August 26, 2021.”

As one might expect, within moments of the release of the report, Biden-Harris administration defenders were out in force. The White House dispatched National Security Council spokesman John Kirby, who started by blaming the former Trump administration for setting in motion the collapse of the Afghan government. “The Trump administration cut a deal called the Doha Agreement that mandated a complete US withdrawal from Afghanistan, and, yes, that included Bagram Air Base by the end of May 2021,” Kirby told reporters. This statement by Kirby was designed to absolve the Biden-Harris administration from its disastrous retreat out of HKIA. It was Trump’s fault because the Biden-Harris administration was duty-bound to follow the former president’s plan for withdrawal no matter the cost. A closer look at the HFAC assessment of what actually happened belies this notion.

Trump Was Not President During Chaotic Withdrawal

The Trump administration did not remove US combat forces before an NEO operation; the Biden-Harris administration did. (Page 64)

The Trump administration did not take away air support for the Afghanistan security forces; the Biden-Harris administration did. (Page 65)

The Trump administration did not initially set Sept. 11, 2021, as the date by which all US personnel would be out of Afghanistan, and then move the date up to Aug. 31 because the political motivation for the original date was too cute by half; the Biden-Harris administration did. (Page 57)

The Trump administration did not refuse the Taliban’s offer to allow US military forces to secure Kabul during the retreat, as Gen. Frank McKenzie told the House Armed Services Committee on Sep. 29, 2021, and reported in The Hill; the Biden-Harris administration did.

The Trump administration did not desert Bagram Air Base, a much more defensible air base for getting out of Kabul than HKIA; the Biden-Harris administration did. (Page 152)

The Trump administration did not choose to evacuate all Americans and friendly Afghans from HKIA without adequate defenses and, in so doing, enable a suicide bomber to murder 13 young American servicemembers, injure 45 US servicemembers, and kill 170 Afghan civilians; the Biden-Harris administration did. (Page 152)

The Trump administration did not mistakenly authorize an air strike to kill an innocent aid worker and his family; the Biden-Harris administration did. (Page 27)

The Trump administration did not disregard NATO allies’ recommendation against the “go-to-zero” order; the Biden-Harris administration did. (Page 186)

During a Pentagon press briefing following the release of the HFAC Afghanistan report, Maj. Gen. Patrick Ryder, the Defense Department press secretary, was asked whether the criticisms were “that the US prioritized the withdrawal over the safety of US personnel and did not adequately prepare for a NEO.” Ryder danced around the question with a variety of non-sequiturs, but, to his credit, he did not deny the allegations.

The stain of the Biden-Harris administration’s catastrophic decision-making and failure to adequately adjust its planning to address a rapidly changing Taliban takeover of Afghanistan is and will continue to be a shameful legacy. Many of the geopolitical conundrums the United States now faces are the direct result of the lasting impression the Biden-Harris administration left of indecision, bad planning, and disastrously poor execution. It is a shadow over America that will take time and leadership light to remove.

Iran Smuggles US Weapons from Afghanistan to Terrorists in Israel

In December, the Biden administration blocked a shipment of M4 rifles to Israel. The rifles were meant to be used by local community self-defense units of the kind that had served as the front line of defense against the Hamas attack on Oct 7. However the Biden administration claimed that it was concerned that the self-defense units might be Jewish “right-wing extremists”.

The Islamic terrorists attacking them however had no trouble finding M4 rifles. They just expected theirs to come by a more complicated road from Afghanistan, by way of Iran’s terror operatives, Lebanon, Syria, Jordan via a drug smuggling route, and then inside Israel.

The M4 rifles were part of a package that included grenade launchers, anti-tank missiles, anti-tank landmines, RPGs, C4 and Semtex explosives, and hand grenades.

A number of those were clearly American weapons including the M4s and the M203 grenade launchers: both in use in Afghanistan. The Alma Center, founded by IDF Lt Col (Res.) Sarit Zehavi, believes that the M4s are likely “spoils from Iraq, Syria or Afghanistan.”

If U.S. weapons from Afghanistan made their way to Islamic terrorists in Israel, it would not be the first time. Islamic terrorists in Gaza had been previously spotted with M4 and M16 rifles, including during the Oct 7 attacks. Rep. James Comer had dispatched a letter after the Hamas attacks to the Department of Defense asking it to explain the M4A1 Carbines, which were “specially designed for U.S. Special Operations Forces” in the hands of the terrorists.

“The surprise terror attacks by Hamas into Israel were made possible, in part, because of U.S. arms left behind in Afghanistan by the Biden administration,” Larry Keane, the Counsel for the National Shooting Sports Foundation, wrote at the Firearm Industry Trade Association.

The weapons package now intercepted by Israel shows how Iran may have tapped into the weapons left behind in Afghanistan. The weapons shipment appears to be a ‘sandwich’ with Iran moving American weapons to the Islamic terrorists backed by the Biden administration.

While the weapons were being smuggled by Iran through its IRGC terror arm, the key player was Munir Makdah, a top figure in the Fatah movement which controls the PLO and the Palestinian Authority. The Palestinian Authority is a major recipient of American foreign aid and the Biden administration has been pressuring Israel to put its terrorists in charge of Gaza.

Even as the Biden administration was demanding that Israel allow Fatah terrorists to run Gaza, a top Fatah leader was recruiting terrorists to attack Israel. The anti-tank weapons, mines and RPGs suggest that the goal was a significant assault on Israel in order to open a second front in Judea and Samaria, also known as the West Bank, to relieve the pressure on Hamas in Gaza. .

Munir Makdah serves as a deputy commander of Fatah in the Ein al-Hilweh terrorist settlement in Lebanon. Misleadingly described by the UN as a refugee camp, it’s actually a major city of over 100,000 which various Islamic terrorist groups have been fighting over since at least the 1980s. While Ein al-Hilweh is often described in the media as a “Palestinian refugee camp”, large numbers of Syrian Islamists fled there after losing their civil war, and have been fighting with Fatah for control of the city using heavy weaponry including rockets.

The weapons were intended for the Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigade, a Fatah terrorist arm, sanctioned by the United States as a Foreign Terrorist Organization for its numerous bloody attacks.

Even as Al Aqsa has gone on murdering Israelis, Marwan Barghouti, its founder, in prison for his involvement in multiple murders, including that of a Greek monk, has been promoted as a future president of the Palestinian Authority.

The New York Times ran an op-ed by Barghouti while failing to identify him as a terrorist. The Washington Post recently claimed that the Biden administration had “raised the treatment of Marwan Barghouti” with Israel. The International Red Cross, which has failed to visit any of the Jewish and non-Jewish hostages held by Hamas, has been clamoring to visit him.

“The Biden administration should make it very clear to the Netanyahu government that if Barghouti is harmed or killed in prison, it would throw gas on a raging fire,” Sen. Chris Van Hollen, notorious for his promotion of Iranian agendas, warned.

While the Biden administration and Iran Lobby adjacent figures like Van Hollen were lobbying for Barghouti, the terrorist’s men appeared to be preparing to unleash a major attack on Israel.

And who was behind the attack? Iran.

Apart from being a top Fatah terrorist, Munir Makdah has also been identified as an operative with Iran’s Hezbollah terrorist movement in Lebanon and the IRGC. After consolidating its control over Hamas and Al Qaeda, Iran is gaining a deeper foothold in the Palestinian Authority.

And the Palestinian Authority is a terrorist operation subsidized by American taxpayers.

The weapons, including the M4 rifles, had come by way of Iran’s terror operatives, including those in Syria, who would have been in a position to move them through Jordan into Israel.

Captagon, the amphetamine used by the Hamas terrorists on Oct 7, is manufactured under the protection of the Assad family, an Iranian client, smuggled out of Syria and into Jordan, where it’s then trafficked to Iran’s enemies in Saudi Arabia, but also into Muslim areas in Israel.

Iran’s global drug smuggling empire provides wealth, but it’s also used by the terror regime to piggyback terror operatives and weapons like those that were meant for the Fatah terrorists.

Opiates and weapons from Afghanistan make their way to Iran, and from there to Iraq, Syria, Yemen and to Gaza and now even the West Bank. In 2022, Israel had detected a significant increase in both drugs and weapons being smuggled into the country. This was likely part of the prep for the Oct 7 attacks which employed both drugs and weapons.

Iran’s drug network is also a terror network and the terrorists are also its clients. Gaza has an estimated 150,000 drug addicts from a population of only a few million.

After Biden turned over Afghanistan to the Taliban, along with its drug trafficking operation, Iran boosted a pipeline of weapons and drugs that are used to bind its allies and attack its enemies.

Weapons left behind in Afghanistan have made their way into Israel. But this time they were intended for the Palestinian Authority terrorists backed by the Biden administration.

While the terrorists want the M4s left behind in Afghanistan, Israel is pivoting away from the rifles denied to it by the Biden administration and shifting over to local manufacturing. After the Biden administration began moving arms from Israel to Ukraine, and then began cutting off weapons to stop Israel from finishing off Hamas, the Israeli government is going local.

 

Under Biden, Islamic terrorists can still count on American weapons, Israelis however can’t.

After Biden’s withdrawal, the fighting ended in Afghanistan and moved into Europe.

Even before the Taliban takeover, a massive traffic in migrants and drugs flowed over the ‘Balkan Route’ that took Afghans into Iran, Turkey and then Eastern Europe. One of the biggest holes in Europe’s armor was the former Yugoslavia, illegally invaded and partitioned by the Clinton administration, with a large Muslim population in Bosnia and heavy criminal organizations across the former republic that tie together the Russian mob, local gangs, Islamic terrorists, and Turkish, Pakistani and Afghan operations moving weapons and drugs.

All of this comes together at the border between Serbia and Yugoslavia. Parts of Serbia’s border areas have become no-go zones: territories occupied by Muslim gangs. Serbian police raids on “migrants” now look like Israeli military operations with armored vehicles and troops. These raids have rounded up thousands of migrants along with automatic rifles and bombs.

Ever since Hungary began fortifying its border, the Muslim gangs had to work harder to penetrate it in order to continue moving their cargo into the rest of Europe. Faced with a more secure border, the smuggling was taken over by more violent groups. Including Al Qaeda.

Much as drug cartels followed Latin American migrants to America, the Afghan migrants traveling through Iran and Turkey to Eastern Europe were followed by Afghan Jihadis.

In Serbia’s border regions, competition between Afghan smuggling gangs broke out into open warfare with the groups using heavy weaponry against each other. Some of those weapons may have been left behind by the Biden administration when it fled Afghanistan. These gun battles are not just happening in deserted villages or near border fences, but in more populated areas.

The Serbian city of Subotica, with a population of nearly 100,000, has become ground zero for the migrant invasion. In September, Afghan and Moroccan Muslim gangs shot at each other in the parking lot of the multinational Lidl supermarket chain in a suburb of the city. The shooting spree in the crowded parking lot filled with families killed a 16-year-old girl.

The Afghan gangs that prevail in the gun battles that have become common on the route are the ones with the weapons and the training and likely to be linked to the Haqqani Network.

When the Taliban took Kabul, it was actually the Haqqani Network which unlike most of the Taliban had built up professional units that resembled their NATO opposite numbers. The Haqqani Network had carried out some of the most devastating attacks against American forces in Afghanistan. The Haqqanis gained these capabilities through their close ties to Al Qaeda.

The Al Qaeda ties brought Arab Muslim money and training to the Afghan Jihadis. After the fall of Kabul, it was the Haqqanis who took over and decided who was allowed to reach the airport. The Biden administration had turned over passenger lists to the Al Qaeda group. After being put in charge of security in Kabul, Haqqani figures control security for the new Taliban regime.

Unlike the old Taliban leadership, which is reclusive and isolationist, the Haqqanis, true to their Al Qaeda links, have been focused on building up an international network. The Biden administration has decided that the Haqqanis, despite Al Qaeda, are moderates because they are more open to supporting education for girls and are willing to talk to the United States. But that is what makes the Haqqanis more dangerous because they are interested in the world.

The Haqqani interest appears to have taken the Al Qaeda linked Jihadis all the way to Europe.

György Bakondi, Hungary’s national security adviser, has warned that the Haqqanis won the gun battles and are now in charge of the smuggling route into the European Union.

“Smuggling gangs originating from Afghanistan in Serbia have family ties to the Taliban government in Afghanistan and the Haqqani network, which is a terrorist organisation,” he said. “The Taliban secret services are now directly controlling the activities of these Afghan-origin smuggling groups.”

The Hungarian authorities have shown video of aggressive efforts by Afghan migrants to invade their country. Migrants no longer just try to get across the border, they “are organised into military-style formations of 20 and armed with marbles, slingshots and sticks to fight back against Hungarian border guards sent to stop them.” The Afghan smugglers carry assault rifles and open fire, into the air or at border patrol officers, to signal that a crossing is underway.

According to Bakondi, the smugglers have “family ties” to the Haqqanis. The Haqqanis are a large family and they also have extended clan connections. Using those family ties to gain control of the smuggling route into Europe would give them a financial lifeline outside of Afghanistan, whose main current source of income is foreign aid run out of Kabul-based NGOs that are taxed by the Haqqanis, and the ability to move Jihadis into Europe for future attacks.

The United States and European NATO members may have hoped to leave Afghanistan behind, but Afghanistan instead followed NATO. As Islamic terrorists always do. When France left North Africa, an army of North African immigrants followed and transformed France into a terror hub. Pakistanis did the same thing to the United Kingdom and Turks and Kurds to Germany.

America imported vast numbers of Afghan refugees and those we didn’t airlift are migrating to Europe. The Haqqani Network decided who would get on Biden’s evacuation planes. Now it’s deciding who gets to enter Europe. While the Haqqanis are cashing in, they’re also almost certainly bringing their own “family” members to Europe to set up local criminal operations.

The Taliban’s alleged ban on opium production was widely reported by the media, less widely reported was that the Taliban have switched from opium to meth. Despite the Taliban ban, opium production actually rose by a third, and the Taliban are cashing in on an artificial shortage that their regime temporarily created, but the real story is that Afghanistan has become the fastest growing source of meth in the world. And the Islamists are using Iran as a model.

The Afghan smuggling route is also the transit point for moving meth from Iran to Europe. By controlling the route, the Haqqanis can potentially control both the heroin and the meth market. And human smuggling allows them to also bring in their people so that they control not only the transit of drugs, but also the sale and distribution of them across Europe. Jihadis have already used access to the European criminal class to convert its members to Islam and recruit them.

While NATO may have left behind its ‘nation building’ operation to win ‘hearts and minds’ in Europe, the Jihadis it was fighting have followed NATO to Europe to build their own nation, their ‘ummah’, in the heart of the infidel enemy. And they’re winning ‘hearts and minds’ left and right.

Afghanistan is not just a place, it’s where the Afghans are. The Taliban and Al Qaeda were not left behind in the dust of Kabul, they are making the long trek into Europe. The Hungarians have tried to build a wall, but much as the Chinese learned during the Mongolian invasions or the Israelis learned on Oct 7, it’s not enough to build a wall, you have to vigilantly defend it. And given enough time, the barbarians will find a way around it, under it, over it or through it.

The world has been told for decades we must go green or we're doomed.  We don't need 'fossil' fuels, we can provide all humanities needs by moving to alternative energy sources.  There's only one problem.  It's a lie, and all in support of the greatest scientific fraud ever perpetuated on humanity. Anthropogenic Global Warming. 

These next articles demonstrate one lie after another, and one green boondoggle after another.  Boondoggles and insane polices the taxpayers are funding, and are expected to continue to fund.  There are two things the left, and especially the green left excel at.  Being wrong and failing to deliver, and they fail to deliver massively.  And the reason they're always wrong, and always fail is because everything they promote is predicated on lies.  Lies of commission and lie of omission.  

Normally I wouldn't care except they've pushed this on to humanity and there are serious consequences for them being wrong, and those consequences result in serious penalties to humanity and the environment.  

What we're seeing are deranged people, many are wealthy, many are in powerful positions promoting insane policies that even the average guy on the street can see are insane.  Why?  That's the 64 thousand question.  But it's clear all their schemes will ultimately lead to tyranny, leading to dystopia for humanity.  To be as delusional as they are, one has to think there's something seriously wrong with their minds.  In short, they're all certifiable.

Green pusher Michael Mann ramps up the rhetoric against the people on MSNBC segment By Jack Hellner MSNBC continued its campaign against average Americans by bringing on Michael Mann, a well-known “green” pusher, who blamed Republicans for Hurricane Idalia, because we won’t sign our own death warrants and go along with the rapid destruction of industries that use oil, coal, and natural gas. To summarize what Mann said: warming water caused the storm to be more severe, and severe storms cost more, in terms of life and property. What you don’t see is any scientific data that shows a direct link between our consumption of oil, coal, and natural gas and temperatures, because temperatures have fluctuated while consumption of these natural resources has skyrocketed. Basically, this is a propaganda piece pushing a book and the radical green agenda................

The Key to Understanding the Global Warming Fraud - As vice president, Al Gore led the negotiations to establish the U.N. Kyoto Protocol in 1998.  The Kyoto Protocol was a "climate treaty" ostensibly designed to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by the signatories during the period 2005–2012 to a level equivalent to 95% of each country's 1990 emissions.  While it did not introduce any new scientific means to reduce CO2 emissions (worldwide CO2 emissions grew by 32% during the period), the Kyoto Protocol introduced a novel economic concept: the trading of carbon credits and offsets. At first, the concept of trading carbon credits was straightforward; it was known as "cap and trade."  Each country was allocated a level of carbon emissions each year by the signatories to the agreement based on an annual targeted reduction in carbon emissions to reach the goal.  If a country or emitter expected to exceed its cap, it could "trade" or buy unused carbon credits from other countries that expected to emit less than their cap.  However, if a country failed to meet its emissions target and did not purchase carbon credits, the protocol required it to make up the difference in the second commitment period, with an additional 30% penalty...............

New Discoveries In Climate Science - Climate science is a wild and woolly multi-disciplinary field in which virtually every proposition is controversial. It is only the politics that is settled; the science is up for grabs. A recent study in Climate illustrates the point, not by introducing new concepts but by measuring the obvious:  A new study published in the scientific peer-reviewed journal, Climate, by 37 researchers from 18 countries suggests that current estimates of global warming are contaminated by urban warming biases.  It is well-known that cities are warmer than the surrounding countryside...........There is no question that the Urban Heat Island Effect exists. The question is, how much does it skew current temperature readings in an upward direction?...........The study also found that the IPCC’s chosen estimate of solar activity appeared to have prematurely ruled out a substantial role for the Sun in the observed warming........

The hidden energy crisis -  September 4, 2023 America is wrestling with the worst energy crisis in its history, a period of high prices and limited supply. According to the Brookings Institution, in 2022, the average U.S. residential retail electricity price was 15.12 cents/kWh, an 11% increase from 13.66 cents/kWh in 2021. In the first three months of 2023, the average U.S. residential monthly electricity bill was $133, or 5% higher than for the same time in 2022. There is confusion with savings or cost expectation of solar and wind conversion, also government decisions have impacted the natural gas and energy supply. While electric vehicles are a much-touted solution for replacing oil, gasoline or diesel fuel contains 40 times the energy as a state-of-the-art battery. Questionable efforts are being made by utilities and government leadership to address our energy future. Critical solutions have been avoided and hidden. Fossil-fuel plants are closing faster than green alternatives can replace them. Producers of oil and gas can't keep up with the confusion in supply. Fantasy thinking has taken hold of President Biden and Democrat leaders. Progressives and their media followers are guilty of denial concerning the reality of how to solve a potential climate/energy crisis.

Bloomberg Falsely Says Climate Change Is Harming Crop Production, Reality Says Otherwise - A recent post at Bloomberg, titled “Climate Change Is Helping Pests and Diseases Destroy Our Food,” claims that recent crop shortages are due to increases in pest infestations and disease because of climate change. This is false for multiple reasons. First, the crops listed are not seeing substantial declines outside of particular production regions, which is to be expected from agriculture some years. Bloomberg contributor Mumbi Gitau writes that pests and disease “are exacerbating crop shortages that have sent prices for goods like cocoa, olive oil, and orange juice soaring.” Gitau also asserts that these shortages will “become even more prevalent as extreme weather events multiply.” To be clear data show that extreme weather events are not getting more frequent or extreme, even amid the last hundred-plus years of warming. Climate Realism has covered this fact many times, here, here, and here, for just a few examples..................

Electric vehicles plagued by logistical issues, but few mention the elephant(s) in the room - The push to exchange gas for electric in transportation is an idea that has ironically placed the proverbial cart in front of the horse. While the problems of an inadequate power grid, too few charging stations, short range, high costs, long recharging times, and battery fires are real, there are two gigantic issues looming that rival them all. Current state and federal gas-tax regulations siphon off more than $53 billion a year in tax revenue; for reference, about 67 cents from every gallon of gasoline purchased in New York, and around $1.18-per-gallon in California. Those taxes account for more than a quarter of the expense of road and highway costs around the nation.  No such system of taxation exists for electric vehicles. For every ten-percent reduction in gas vehicles being replaced by electric, a resulting decrease of more than $5 billion in tax revenue will occur. Biden and the American Military Leadership is a Disaster

I don't know if anyone watched the Senate Armed Services Committee hearings on the disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal, but Secretary of Defense Austin, General Mark Milley and General Kenneth McKenzie looked like deer in the headlights.  All answering with logical fallacies, evasions, and I think outright lies.

Milley once claimed the withdrawal from Afghanistan was a logical success but a strategic failure.  What?  Does that make sense to anyone?

I put this in the same category as Field Marshall Montgomery's analysis of the disaster of Operation Market Garden saying he was pleased because 90% of the plan was successful, and then shifted to blame from himself to the Poles, which history has shown to be a lie to cover for the failure it was. The King of Belgium said his country couldn't afford too many more of Montgomery's 90% successes. What we have here now are generals trying to put the blame on Biden, and rightly so, while avoiding any responsibility to themselves.  

Let's take Milley's call to the Chinese general. Milley Admits Rogue Plan to Share Intel with China Said I’d ‘Probably’ Call if Attack Was Coming. In short, Milley decided he was Commander in Chief, not the President of the United States, and was  willing to commit treason.  And he's still there. 

Milley thought Trump might cause a ‘Pearl Harbor’.  Well, did he bring that to Trump's attention?  Did he bring that to the attention of the Secretary of Defense.  Did he bring that to those committees that oversee the military in Congress?  Did he bring that to the attention of the Vice President.  Not as far as anyone can tell, and that's not his call.  If he really felt that was true he should have resigned and publicly stated that for the consumption of the Congress and the American people.  But he didn't because according to him that would be a political act.  What?  But deciding he was the Commander in Chief wasn't political act, a political act of treason?

He didn't, instead, he chose treason because:

"according to I Alone Can Fix It, from Washington Post reporters Carol Leonnig and Phillip Rucker, Gen. Milley believes Donald Trump is the moral equivalent of Adolph Hitler, Trump’s followers are “brownshirts,” and Trump’s complaints about voter fraud were calls for genocide

When Biden made the decision for the disastrous escape from Afghanistan, did he do that on his own? The President says he took the advice of the military experts, the generals say he didn't! That "no senior military officer advised him to leave troops behind in Afghanistan."

Biden Prints Money for the Taliban

After being described as “partners” by the Biden administration, the Taliban announced that they’re bringing back sharia punishments by chopping off hands and stoning their victims.  Last year, the Biden administration had praised the Taliban’s “openness” to women’s rights.

This development puts the nail in the coffin of claims by Biden administration figures that the Jihadist organization had changed into a kinder, gentler Taliban. But the media has conveniently ignored revelations of the close collaboration between the administration and the Taliban.

Front Page Magazine was one of the few conservative publications that exposed the over $1.1 billion in aid directed by the administration after the Taliban takeover, the special licenses issued by the Biden administration authorizing financial transactions with the Taliban and Al Qaeda’s Haqqani Network to distribute that aid, and the billions stolen from 9/11 families for the Taliban.

The Biden administration has been stonewalling the Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction with the State Department and Samantha Power’s USAID refusing to allow employees to be interviewed about, among other things, their “compliance with the laws and regulations prohibiting transfers of funds to members of the Taliban and the Haqqani Network”.

Instead, the Biden administration has been chartering Osama bin Laden’s old airline which had been used to ferry drugs and terrorists to evacuate the Americans that Biden had left behind. These hostages have become another cash cow that the Taliban are using to extract money from American taxpayers through the offices of their allies in the Biden administration.

Biden administration figures have repeatedly met with Taliban leaders. According to Al Jazeera, run by the state sponsors of the Islamic terror group, the administration had even provided assurances that the United States will not fund any resistance to the Taliban.

Coming a few months after Al Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri was killed while under Taliban protection, a “high-level delegation” that allegedly included a top CIA figure, agreed not to “fund any armed groups or non-state actors in the country”, particularly the National Resistance Front, consisting of the Northern Alliance members who had originally helped us liberate Afghanistan.

This betrayal came even after clear evidence that the Taliban were harboring Al Qaeda.

Why would the Biden administration unilaterally throw away our best leverage against the Taliban without getting them to end their support for Al Qaeda and other terror groups?

The Biden administration then went beyond just appropriating $1.1 billion in humanitarian aid, much of which will benefit the Taliban in one way or another, while authorizing transactions with the terrorists, but actually conspired to print money for the Taliban to replace their old bills.

According to Biden’s State Department spokesman, the administration was “working hard with international banks to facilitate payment transfers from Afghanistan’s central bank to European printing companies where new banknotes would actually be produced” to “replace what had been crumbling banknotes in Afghanistan”.

Spokesman Ned Price explained that, “Afghanistan’s markets, even today, run widely on cash, but existing banknotes are crumbling. And that’s why this is such an urgent challenge.”

The Biden administration’s idea of an “urgent challenge” in Afghanistan isn’t preventing Al Qaeda from reforming, it’s not getting out Americans, or stopping the Taliban from stoning people, it’s arranging for a Polish printing company to churn out banknotes for the Taliban.

It’s not enough for the Biden administration to steal billions from 9/11 families and send it to the Taliban, it has to go all the way and actually print money for the Islamic terrorist group.

Thanks to Biden, the Taliban will get 10 billion in ‘Afghanis’ from Poland and another 10 billion from a French company. $3.5 billion in assets in the United States are being transferred to a Swiss trust fund held for the Taliban so that a future administration won’t be able to recover it.

The Biden administration claims to be concerned about Taliban atrocities and then continues to enable the terrorists.

Karen Decker, the head of the U.S. Mission to Afghanistan, conducted a “listening tour” of Afghan women who fled the Taliban and claimed that she shares their “concerns and their hope.” Then she described printing money for the Taliban as “part of our commitment to help the Afghan people”. The only Afghan people that she’s helping are the Taliban.

Thomas West, Biden’s Special Representative to Afghanistan, boasted, “I am very pleased to say that in the past 24 hours we have finally seen the conclusion of two currency transactions.”

There is no other conclusion to be drawn from these latest revelations except that the Biden administration wants the Taliban to remain in power. And has been consistently scheming to bypass legal restrictions on funding terrorism to funnel money to the Taliban.

A responsible administration that served our national interests would be providing a fraction of the aid to the National Resistance Front and other anti-Taliban groups that it’s funneling to Ukraine, and it would, at the very least, use sanctions to undermine the Taliban regime.

Instead, Biden is laboring to protect the Taliban and to keep the terrorists in power.

That’s the same conclusion that the Taliban have drawn. That’s why after prolonged hesitation and doubletalk, they are shedding any pretense about their intentions.

The Taliban’s Supreme Leader Haibatullah Akhundzada ordered judges to impose “the ruling of sharia” on, among others, “seditionists” and “apostates”.

“Those cases that have met all the Shariah conditions of limitation and retribution, you are obliged to issue the limitation and retribution, because this is the order of the Sharia and my order and it is obligatory to act,” the Taliban’s spokesman tweeted.

The Taliban have begun a comprehensive crackdown using the traditional brutal punishments of Islam. They’re testing the Biden administration and know that they have nothing to worry about.

Supreme Leader Akhundzada had been a chief judge in the Taliban’s court system during their original period of rule when they became notorious for inflicting grotesque and horrifying punishments on anyone who displeased them.

Nothing has really changed.

Last year, the Taliban captured Danish Siddiqui, the chief photographer for Reuters, in a mosque, beat and tortured him, ran him over with a car, and shot him at close range.

The same media, including Reuters, which has amplified Qatari propaganda about its Al Jazeera terrorist operatives, like Jamal Khashoggi in Turkey and Shireen Abu Akleh in Israel, has remained mostly silent about this atrocity against an actual journalist by the allies of Qatar.

The Biden administration, which has attacked Saudi Arabia over Khashoggi’s death and announced an FBI investigation of Israel over Abu Akleh’s death, has made no such efforts over the mutilation and murder of Siddiqui. Biden condemned the Saudis and the Israelis over Khashoggi and Abu Akleh, but never once mentioned Siddiqui’s name.

Jalina Porter, until recently a Washington Wizards cheerleader, who was elevated to a State Department spokeswoman, failed to condemn the Taliban after Siddiqui’s brutal murder, but only called for “an end to the violence” and a “just and durable peace settlement.”

The complicity and the double standards spoke eloquently about the administration’s agenda.

Last year, the Taliban’s Supreme Leader made his position clear to the rest of the world, “I cannot compromise on Shariah to work with you or even move a step forward.” He warned that “even if the world uses an atomic bomb, we will rule the country according to the Sharia Law.”

That was back in July.

The Biden administration and its media allies knew that they were lying about the kinder, gentler Taliban and their openness to human rights. They told those lies to keep the money flowing.

After robbing 9/11 families, diverting money to the Taliban under a dozen pretexts, including payments for hostages that the Biden administration chose to leave behind, and even collaborating in printing money for the terrorist group, there will be a brief condemnation as the Taliban resume openly mutilating, killing and torturing victims through their Islamic courts.

But the Biden administration will make sure to keep taxpayer money flowing to the terrorists.

The shameful treason we saw at the panicked evacuation of Afghanistan was not the climax, it was the middle of a conspiracy to put the Taliban in power by the enemies of America. Those enemies are not just in Moscow, Tehran or Beijing, they are right here in Washington D.C.
