Ignorance Breeds Complacency, Complacency Breeds Tyranny

Time and Truth Are on the Same Side, and Conspiracies Are Real

By Rich Kozlovich

Biden is an idiot, his family is steeped in crime right up to their eyeballs, and the more Trump is attacked, the better he looks.  Another indictment and the nation may just anoint him as King Donald the First.  For a start, here's an excellent thought for the day.  I don’t remember who said this, but it’s a goodie.

"Anyone who believes that politicians and bureaucrats who can't define what a woman is, who can't control the border, can't tell the truth about COVID, who can't teach children to read and do math at grade level, and who lied continuously about Obamacare can control temperatures, sea levels, and storm activity should make sure they never have to debate a five-year-old."

I've been a history buff for all of my life, and I concluded decades ago, everything is cyclical!  I read George Friedman's book,  "Storm Before Calm", which deals with this very well.   Recently I read, "The Fourth Turning", which also deals with historical cycles.  Complicated book, complicated verbiage, entirely too long, way too wordy, which seem to me fails in “coherence through connectives”, a fundamental when it comes to writing and speaking if you really want people to understand what you’re saying.

Reading it is a challenge.  At this point it seems to be as much mystical as historical in its projections, and yet, the book has some interesting insights claiming among other things, we're in what he calls the Fourth Turning of the current cycle.  Actually, I agree with that.  While I do question his time lines, which seems to do some cherry picking, however, in his analyses every cycle has what he calls a Fourth Turning, and each of those “turnings” were crisis periods, and historically, his fourth turnings have always been conclusively violent.  I fear this is going to happen with, or in, America within the next ten years.  Probably less, especially events surrounding this election, as Im expecting to see massive riots before and after the election, the recent events in Portland is in my opinion a harbinger of things to come.

China's military buildup has been financed by American trade, and now as a result, there are ten ways the US is falling behind China in national security.  That build up is intended to destroy America.

Hypersonic missiles, fleet size, air defense, manufacturing, technology, much of which they've stolen, mining for rare earths, gray zone altercations.  Gray zone altercations are non-shooting military intimidation tactics they regularly play with their neighbors.  In short, they're bullies, and don't care if anyone likes it or not. Then there’s their excursions into space, cyber operations, and artificial intelligence.

But America's military is not to be outdone.  Noooo, we have a Secretary of Defense, Lloyd Austin, "a man of incredible vision" who has clearly identified the military’s real problems undermining America's military readiness and capability.

The twin crises of white supremacy and gender.

We can't keep our subs repaired, recruitment is in the toilet, he kicked out many highly qualified men over their refusal to take "the shot", many combat aircraft are permanently on the ground, and the generals and admirals are all members of the Church of Wokeness and are committed to DEI mandates, which has proven disastrous in our schools, and our businesses, why would it be any better in our military?  The incompetence and corruption of the officer corp is mind boggling.

But hey, we gotta have our priorities.  Right?

The unending political persecution of  Donald Trump by the corrupt Deep State and the Democrat party is blatantly Stalinist.   While I can acknowledge the contributions of Thomas Jefferson, I'm not a big fan.  But he was brilliant as he once observed:

All the powers of government, legislative, executive, and judiciary, result to the legislative body. The concentrating these in the same hands is precisely the definition of despotic government. It will be no alleviation that these powers will be exercised by a plurality of hands, and not by a single one. 173 despots would surely be as oppressive as one.

An elective despotism was not the government we fought for; but one which should not only be founded on free principles, but in which the powers of government should be so divided and balanced among several bodies of magistracy, as that no one could transcend their legal limits, without being effectually checked and restrained by the others. Nor should our assembly be deluded by the integrity of their own purposes, and conclude that these unlimited powers will never be abused, because themselves are not disposed to abuse them.

They should look forward to a time, and that not a distant one, when corruption in this, as in the country from which we derive our origin, will have seized the heads of government, and be spread by them through the body of the people…. Jefferson warned that relatively soon, “corruption” will have seized the heads of government” and “spread by them” through the “body of the people” — also known as…Congress.

How was Jefferson able to see this so clearly?   He read a history book or two, and there's nothing new under the sun.

The fact is, what he warned about started happening not too long after the Constitution was ratified with the Whiskey Tax of 1791.  A tax which was clearly unequal, unfair, violated states’ rights, culminating with a greater violation of states’ rights with Washington leading an army into Pennsylvania to put down the Whiskey Rebellion of 1794.   It all merely expanded to what we're seeing. We now call it Crony Capitalism.

This tax was promoted by then Secretary of the Treasury Alexander Hamilton, and was directly beneficial to the whiskey distillers in the major metropolitan areas.  The Constitution had just been ratified in 1787, a mere four years before, and Hamilton wanted to solidify support for the Constitution from the business community.   Hamilton was strong advocate of strong centralized federal power over republicanism and states’ rights, and Washington never made any effort to thwart this.  Washington was lauded by Congress for this action, and those who supported his venture claimed he once again saved the nation, and this time from a challenge to federal authority by the people.

Jefferson rightly recognized if for what it was.  Washington's call for troops to put down this rebellion was in point of fact an abuse of Presidential power and authority, a veiled threat to the citizens of the nation, and a threat to republican ideals. While I do think Washington deserves praise as the Father of Our Nation because of his personal courage, amazing leadership skills, and his willingness to walk away from power after two terms, I also think he's overrated, most certainly as a general, but also as a President.

Jefferson's administration repealed the Whiskey Tax.

Banks are cancelling the accounts of people who hold political views they don't like, investment companies are ignoring their fiduciary responsibilities to their investors in order to support ESG and DEI conceptualized companies, many of which are either under performing or outright failing.  But they have no problem with the insane leftist radicals that are destroying western culture and ultimately civilization.

Heresy is rampant at the highest levels of "Christian" churches. Biden can't afford to build a border wall, yet he really wants to give Ukraine another unaccountable, untraceable 20 billion dollars, to one of, if not the most, corrupt governments in Europe, and the Deep State and an international elite are creating what's being called "a new normal".  An international tyranny that you had better like or else. A tyranny determined to destroy all Constitutional guarantees.

All of that has now become obvious.

In years gone by there was a lot of laughing and friendly banter between me and my friends over my claims about conspiracies.  Well, whaddayaknow. There really is such a thing as a conspiracy after all, and they're not laughing any longer.

Just like Jefferson, I read a history book...or two...., and there's nothing new under the sun.

This is Why America Forgot How to Win

December 08, 2023 @ Sultan Knish Blog

Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin stopped by the Reagan National Defense Forum to deliver an address titled, ‘A Time for American Leadership’. What leadership lessons did he have to offer?

“I learned a thing or two about urban warfare from my time fighting in Iraq and leading the campaign to defeat ISIS,” he told his audience. “Like Hamas, ISIS was deeply embedded in urban areas. And the international coalition against ISIS worked hard to protect civilians and create humanitarian corridors, even during the toughest battles. So the lesson is not that you can win in urban warfare by protecting civilians. The lesson is that you can only win in urban warfare by protecting civilians.”

He then went on to lecture that “we will continue to press Israel to protect civilians” and” that “protecting Palestinian civilians in Gaza is both a moral responsibility and a strategic imperative.”

Gen. Austin headed Central Command from 2013 to 2016. Obama officials blamed Austin for telling Obama that ISIS was “a flash in the pan” (while Austin’s people denied he said that.) Central Command’s intelligence failures against ISIS were so bad that they resulted in an investigation into whether intelligence had been falsified to make it look like we were winning.

By the fall of 2016, after 3 years of fighting, ISIS had only lost a third of its territory in Iraq and Syria. That was in large part because the Obama administration refused to allow the military to properly hammer ISIS. Under Trump, our hands were no longer tied and we hit ISIS hard.

Despite Austin’s claims that victory against ISIS came from protecting civilians allied with the Islamic terror group, the reality was just the opposite. Fussiness over civilian casualties during the Obama administration translated neither to victory nor civilian lives saved. On Austin’s watch, airstrikes against ISIS killed civilians, but that was always inevitable.

It’s impossible to take out Islamic terrorists whose entire operating model is to fight from behind and around civilians without civilian casualties.
The choice is between a long grueling war, which Obama and Austin gave us, or a short devastating campaign, which Trump gave us.

What the Obama administration refused to understand in either Iraq or Afghanistan is that the leading cause of civilian deaths are the Islamic terrorists we are fighting. During the Holocaust, Jewish groups pleaded with the FDR administration to bomb concentration camps, despite the inevitable civilian casualties, because it would have stopped the killing. The Allied campaign hit Nazi-controlled territories hard, with little regard for civilian casualties, because only ending the war quickly would stop the killing. If we had fought WWII by today’s rules, we would still be fighting it and for that matter it’s not at all impossible that we would have long since lost it.

Obama and Austin prolonged a campaign against ISIS that allowed the Islamic terror group to rape and pillage its way across the region. The choice was not between no or civilian deaths, but whether the dead civilians would be ISIS supporters or their Kurdish victims.

Trump dropped more bombs every month than the entire three years of Obama’s fitful fight against ISIS.The media and activists blamed the majority of the civilian casualties in Iraq and Syria on Trump, but that was also what ended the war and the accompanying civilian casualties.

While Obama kept the pain going to avoid civilian casualties, Trump finished the job.

Gen. Austin is pointing to his campaign against ISIS as a model for Israel. That would be a disaster for any number of reasons. Israel doesn’t have the economy or military supplies to spend four years fighting at that level. Furthermore, the Biden administration isn’t likely to support four years of air strikes and house-to-house battles across Gaza. Even after a month, there are definite warnings from D.C. that Israel needs to wrap up its fight against Hamas.

Austin and some of his people have used their campaign against ISIS in Mosul as a model for Israel. Here’s a reminder of what that model looked like and what it would mean for Israel

The Battle for Mosul against some 10,000 ISIS Jihadis by some estimates took 5-6 months and relied on over 100,000 Iraqi allied forces with estimated casualties of over 1,000. Civilian casualties were estimated at between 10,000 to 40,000 with no way to really know for sure.

The idea that the Battle of Mosul showed that “you can only win in urban warfare by protecting civilians” is entirely false. Iraqi forces, the vast majority of them members of a different religious group, Shiites (some members of Iran’s militias) or Kurds, were anything but gentle with Arab Sunnis. Iraqi soldiers killed whomever they liked, including women and children, and claimed they were ISIS. There’s no way to know what the truth was except that it was not a clean war.

Iraqi forces used heavy firepower in civilian areas to defeat ISIS forces on the ground. And there were no protests, not from the White House, from other Muslim countries or the mobs that howl every time Israel takes out a Hamas target in Gaza. Everyone understood that nothing else could be expected when fighting ISIS. And even the reports by Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch documenting civilian deaths were mostly cursory and lacked outrage.

Israeli generals could only have rolled their eyes about being told that Mosul should be their model. In Mosul, Iran’s Shiite militias did much of the fighting on the ground in a prolonged and brutal campaign. The decision to turn the battle over to them saved American lives in the short term, but helped solidify Iran’s grip on Iraq. The rocket attacks on American forces in Iraq since then are the consequences of the decision to recruit one terror group to go after another.

There are no models here for Israel unless it can somehow recruit a bunch of Islamic terrorists to fight Hamas while it limits itself airdropping leaflets in between desultory airstrikes.

Beyond Israel’s fight against Hamas Jihadists, the truly worrying thing is that Gen. Austin and much of the brass actually believe what they are saying. Much as they believed what they were saying in Afghanistan. Because what it really means is that military leaders have forgotten how to fight. And they never seem to have learned what wars are or how we go about winning them.

Gen. Austin’s contention that “you can only win in urban warfare by protecting civilians” would have come as news to the Allies in WWII, to the Russians in Chechnya and to his own tenure in Iraq His insistence on the notion of a “strategic victory” that can only be won in the hearts and minds of the enemy is the same misguided strategy that cost us so many lives in Afghanistan.

And that ended with our defeat.

“We will not win simply by killing insurgents,” Gen. McChrystal had argued, kicking off Obama’s surge in Afghanistan. “Earn the support of the people and the war is won, regardless of how many militants are killed or captured.”

In the real world, you win the war by defeating the enemy, not by winning the support of the people. Wars are not democratic elections and the battlefield isn’t a political campaign. When wars are run by politicians, the end result is a defeat that comes from never really trying.

Why don’t we win wars anymore? Listen closely to Austin, McChrystal and virtually every military head honcho in the last twenty years and the answer is obvious. We don’t set out to win wars by defeating the enemy on the battlefield, but on the battlefield of ideas. Our forces are led by a generation of politicians in uniforms who have been indoctrinated, beginning at the academy level, to think of wars as contests for the hearts and minds of enemy civilians.

If Israel adopts this strategy, it will fail and be defeated. But so will we. We’ve been fighting wars that we can afford to lose (if you can describe leaving thousands of dead and many more wounded as acceptable) but we may soon find ourselves in a war against a peer competitor.

Like China.

If we go up against the People’s Republic of China, will we be trying to win their hearts and minds or to beat them? Our wars until now had a limited existential risk, but that may change. The day may come when, like Israel, our wars are not something we fight abroad, but at home. Are our military leaders ready to make the tough choices of a Sherman or a Patton, or Austin’s notion that we should always risk our soldiers and the war, rather than risk enemy civilians?

Without a military leadership that understands the purpose of war, the next time we may not lose thousands, we could lose millions. And we could lose the United States of America.

Biden and the American Military Leadership is a Disaster

By Rich Kozlovich

I don't know if anyone watched the Senate Armed Services Committee hearings on the disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal, but Secretary of Defense Austin, General Mark Milley and General Kenneth McKenzie looked like deer in the headlights.  All answering with logical fallacies, evasions, and I think outright lies.

Milley once claimed the withdrawal from Afghanistan was a logical success but a strategic failure.  What?  Does that make sense to anyone?

I put this in the same category as Field Marshall Montgomery's analysis of the disaster of Operation Market Garden saying he was pleased because 90% of the plan was successful, and then shifted to blame from himself to the Poles, which history has shown to be a lie to cover for the failure it was. The King of Belgium said his country couldn't afford too many more of Montgomery's 90% successes. What we have here now are generals trying to put the blame on Biden, and rightly so, while avoiding any responsibility to themselves.

Let's take Milley's call to the Chinese general. Milley Admits Rogue Plan to Share Intel with China Said I’d ‘Probably’ Call if Attack Was Coming. In short, Milley decided he was Commander in Chief, not the President of the United States, and was  willing to commit treason.  And he's still there.

Milley thought Trump might cause a ‘Pearl Harbor’.  Well, did he bring that to Trump's attention?  Did he bring that to the attention of the Secretary of Defense.  Did he bring that to those committees that oversee the military in Congress?  Did he bring that to the attention of the Vice President.  Not as far as anyone can tell, and that's not his call.  If he really felt that was true he should have resigned and publicly stated that for the consumption of the Congress and the American people.  But he didn't because according to him that would be a political act.  What?  But deciding he was the Commander in Chief wasn't political act, a political act of treason?

He didn't, instead, he chose treason because:

"according to I Alone Can Fix It, from Washington Post reporters Carol Leonnig and Phillip Rucker, Gen. Milley believes Donald Trump is the moral equivalent of Adolph Hitler, Trump’s followers are “brownshirts,” and Trump’s complaints about voter fraud were calls for genocide

When Biden made the decision for the disastrous escape from Afghanistan, did he do that on his own? The President says he took the advice of the military experts, the generals say he didn't! That "no senior military officer advised him to leave troops behind in Afghanistan."

Pentagon Rescinds Destructive Military Vaxx-Mandate — Lauren Boebert Calls for the Next Step

The Pentagon finally withdrew it’s Covid-19 “vaccine” mandate today. In a memo, the Pentagon rescinded the mandate for all servicemembers to be administered Covid-19 “vaccines.” They will also remove any penalties or reprimands from records of current servicemembers who were punished over their vaccine stance or status. Nobody will be discharged over vaccine status going forward. Unfortunately, that does NOT apply to those who have already been discharged. They will remain discharged and their service records will not be amended............To Read More.....

My Take - The tide is already turning, and this "explanation" given by the nitwit Secretary of Defense Austin, isn't an explanation, it's just a lot of CYA horsepucky.  Here's What Secretary Austin Said When He Officially Rescinded the DoD's Vaccine Mandate.

Top Republicans Call for the Impeachment of Joe Biden

By December 29, 2022

Top republicans are calling for the impeachment of President Joe Biden for his utter failures and potentially criminal actions as president. One of these Republicans is Representative Claudia Tenny.  “How I feel about Joe Biden? I see this guy as a talentless, career politician and completely derelict in his duty, which is why I’ve called for him to be impeached! One of the things about the Republicans that is kind of frustrating at times is, we don’t fight. We have to fight every single day, right now. I stand up to the status quo in both parties, I have a core set of principles. Can we preserve this Republic? It is all on the line. It’s not easy to fight the fight that patriots fight, but it’s worth it,” she said.

“Whether it is Joe Biden’s dereliction of duty at the Southern Border or his disastrous retreat in Afghanistan, I have called for Joe Biden to answer to the American people in Impeachment hearings. I will not stand by while Biden and Pelosi trample on our constitution to push their far-left agenda. I look forward to working with a Republican House Majority next Congress to impeach Biden and hold his administration accountable for their numerous failures,” she continued.

Even GOP leader Rep. Kevin McCarthy supports the idea of impeachment......To Read More.....

My Take - If the House impeaches Biden will it matter?  Yes and no.  He's clearly been in serious violation of the Constitution and it needs to be established beyond any doubt for the record, and for his ultimate historical condemnation and the condemnation of the Democrat party, because the Senate under the Democrats will not take up this valid impeachment, unlike the fraudulent impeachments of Donald Trump.   History will condemn Biden even if the Democrats will not.

And quite frankly, that goes for Alejandro Mayorkas, Secretary of Homeland Security, Lloyd J. Austin III, Secretary of Defense, and most of all, Merritt Garland, Attorney General.  Establish the facts and let history condemn them and the Democrat party forever.

And if the Republicans ever get their act together and take the Senate, the House and the White House, and grow a spine, they need to prosecute them for the crimes they've committed.

Lloyd Austin needs to resign as Secretary of Defense

Jazz Shaw Jun 26, 2022

Since the announcement of the decision in Dobbs on Friday, elected officials and media personalities across the board have been weighing in with their own takes as you would expect. But one of the last people I would have expected to dive into the public debate was Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin. And yet he somehow made the decision to wade into the Roe v Wade issue up to his hips. This turned out to be a very poor decision for several reasons, as we’ll see in a moment, but the question here goes far beyond one retired military officer’s personal views. The spectacle Austin created was simply damaging and Lloyd Austin needs to either resign or be fired, not that Joe Biden will make any such move. At Redstate, Mike Miller highlights Austin’s comments and points out how wrong he managed to get the entire affair..............But let’s just pretend for a moment that this was okay. Austin said he would ensure that his department will “continue to provide seamless access to reproductive health care as permitted by federal law.” Really?

That’s not a political policy. It’s because of the Hyde Amendment, which Lloyd Austin has apparently never heard of. All of the money consumed by the military comes from federal funds. Federal funds may not be used to pay for abortions in almost all cases. And as to Austin’s statement about “as permitted by federal law,” as of Friday there is no relevant federal law. Those decisions have been returned to the states, whether you agree with the resolution or not...........To Read More....

Unvaxxed Servicemembers, Fully Vaccinated and Boosted Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin Tests Positive for COVID

By Kristinn Taylor  January 2, 2022

Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin, who says he is fully vaccinated and boosted, announced Sunday that he tested positive for COVID and is experiencing mild symptoms. Austin said his last contact with Joe Biden was December 21, when he tested negative before the meeting and well before the onset of symptoms. This month the Defense Department started discharging several hundred service members for refusing orders to get vaccinated against COVID-19, rejecting claims for religious exemptions..........To Read More....

The Pick of the Left's Litter

November 7, 2021 By Rick Fuentes

The cascade of unforced domestic and international policy errors of the current administration, each more damaging to our economic well-being and national security than any fabricated misstep of the Trump presidency, has not dissuaded most Republican senators from allowing radical ideologues to assume positions of power. Juxtapose that to the mistreatment of Trump nominees, when Democrats flashed a middle finger across the aisle at those who had previously anointed the way for Obama’s cabinet picks.

In the catbird seat, Biden seems more a cat’s paw president, a career politician who upended mathematics and political history by winning more votes than voters after a bumbling basement campaign that sparked little public interest.  He has brought both sympathy and worrisome attention to the cognitive plight of the elderly.  Reflexively, he rubber-stamps executive orders that appear out of nowhere and level a wrecking ball at the American economy.  Without White House meddling, the legacy economy would have sailed out of the COVID storm.  Instead, the concurrence of inoculation mandates, supply gridlock, needless energy dependency, putting the unvaxxed labor force on the breadline, and government alms that encourage unemployment in a favorable job market papered over with Help Wanted signs, all have the economy circling the drain.

Biden is most troublesome when he wanders away from the teleprompter and the country.  Recently, he jetted off to Glasgow with an entourage of 13 cabinet members and hundreds of staffers.  Along the way, he took a convoy of gas guzzlers to the See of Rome to charm the papacy with his devoutness to climate change. Biden was blessed to feast on the Lord’s host, a sure sign that Marxist kinship trumps the sanctity of life and values expected of all good Catholics...........To Read More....

Uniform Code of Military Justice is Neither Uniform Nor Justice

By Rich Kozlovich

My e-mail group sends a lot of news reports out to the group regularly, which saves me a lot of time on searches by the way.  Sometimes we're in agreement, and sometimes not.  This came in last night, and I'm sharing some of their well thought out points in this piece.

Currently the US Navy Secretary under Lloyd Austin is threatening to make the Navy SEALs, arguably the finest special operation people in the world, to make them pay back the cost of their training if they don't get the vaccination.  And the reason why?

"In order to maximize readiness, it is the policy goal of the U.S. Navy to achieve a fully vaccinated force against the persistent and lethal threat of COVID-19."

I'll tell you what. We'll come back to that!

Naturally Austin and his cabal of misfits would consider punishing them, it reflects their easily demonstrated leftist insanity and corruption they embrace.

  • This administration is in harmony with their far left allies and rioters who murder, maim, and burn businesses down are released without prosecution, with V.P. Harris even providing some bail money to help out.
  • Guys like McCabe who blatantly and repeatedly lied under oath to the FBI get their pensions and good standing reinstated.
  • Police and Border Patrol who do their jobs are threatened with prosecution.
  • January 6th protestors who merely walked in thru an open door, wandered around the Capitol for 5 minutes and left, doing zero damage, are jailed for months, denied their cancer treatments, charged with felonies and convicted with additional jail time and hefty fines.
  • Parents who object to CRT being taught to their kids in school, or who complain about mask or vaccine mandates are labelled domestic terrorists, and it's threatened to bring the full might of the federal government down on them.
  • Allies are dissed and betrayed while enemies are coddled and catered to.  American citizens are abandoned in hostile countries.
  • A general kicks off a plane between 50 and 100 people, some of whom were most likely killed, to bring back a war trophy, all of which was against regulations, and nothing is done.   All par for the course with this administration, and the upper ranks of the military.  An enlisted man would be been thrown in prison.

Our own government has proven beyond doubt that they'll do what they can to subvert our own laws rather than enforce them, work on soft coup after soft coup who worked to oust a president who didn't toe their line, and so on.  Our own Deep State government is the enemy, and they're destroying the military.

Outrageous?  This is worse than outrageous.  Remember, this was touted as necessary, "In order to maximize readiness, it is the policy goal of the U.S. Navy to achieve a fully vaccinated force against the persistent and lethal threat of COVID-19."  The persistent and lethal threat of Covid-19?  You gotta be kidding me.

The reality is this isn't small pox or rabies, both of which were usually fatal to anyone contracting it.  This is a virus with a mortality rate worldwide of 4.9 million, out of a worldwide population of more than 7 billion people. "The survival rate is estimated at between 97% and 99.75%." ................ "It's true that COVID is very contagious, but so is the common cold, and no one ever thought of shutting down the world before to prevent people from catching the sniffles."

The threat?  Get vaxxed with an experimental drug they're call a vaccine for a disease which puts you at very little risk (99.5+% survival rate for anyone under the age of 70) or we bankrupt you for life. These men have SERVED. Now Austin is going to penalize them for their service to the nation? All done under the Uniform Code of Military Justice.

Forget the very little risk. They serve, and do so honorably, and have earned the right to be treated honorably.  A right that shouldn't have to be earned.  But here's the truth of the Uniform Code of Military justice, and the corruption surrounding it's application.  The Corrupt Military Justice System – Systematically Sacrificing our Nation’s Heroes.

That article appeared in June of 2017, and make no mistake about it, Obama corrupted the military by promoting traitors who sold their souls to get promoted, and got rid of any who wouldn't.  They became the military's "Woke" leadership, and they've further corrupted the upper ranks via promotions, get "Woke" or go home.  It's now to the point we have Milley, Austin and others in total charge, who are working to further corrupt the military with their "Wokeness".  While they went on a crusade to promote diversity and searching for and, rooting out, mythical White Supremacy in the military, they ignored their real duties in Afghanistan.

So now we have highly trained, highly motivated special operations people refusing to get "vaccinated" with a experimental drug, that made it through the FDA in only about 18 months, when normally it takes ten to twelve years, and it's not even a real vaccination.

The CDC changed the definition of what's a vaccine in order to call it such.  For decades in order to be a real vaccine the drug had to immunize the recipient and prevent transmission, or it wasn't a vaccine, it was a treatment.  And that's what these shots are, treatments, as they don't immunize or prevent transmission, and worse yet, we're seeing a lot of information that indicates these genetic treatments are causing serious health problems that are not just serious, they're deadly.

One more thing.  These military personal are not anti-vax radicals, and Navy Seals are usually highly intelligent.  Furthermore, I can assure you they've been getting vaccinations for all sorts of diseases from their very first week in the military.  But those were vaccinations, not improperly tested (still largely experimental) treatments, and I've no doubt they're well aware of the latest information about the dangers involved, and the potentially long term dangers we've yet to uncover.

So this is not about ideology on the part of these men of conscience, it's a matter of being aware of the dangers of these treatments. The Ideologues are the corrupt "sold his soul to the Devil"  Austin and his upper echelon cabal of traitors.

Military personnel cannot sue the military except for medical wrongful death or harm issues by law.  But this is being challenged in federal court and here's where it all stands:

"service members from all five branches of the military, federal employees, and federal civilian contractors have joined in a class action lawsuit against the Department of Defense over its COVID-19 vaccine mandates."..............“The Biden administration has no authority to require the COVID shots for the military or for federal employees or civilian contractors. Nor can the Biden administration pretend that the federal Religious Freedom Restoration Act and the First Amendment do not apply to its unlawful mandates,” Liberty Counsel Founder and Chairman Mat Staver said in a statement. “The Commander-in-Chief must end this shameful treatment and abuse of our brave military heroes. Forcing the COVID shots without consent or consideration for their sincere religious beliefs is illegal.”

Does Biden and his minions have the legal authority to do such a thing?   Since non-military personnel are behind this lawsuit, and it's going to federal court, if the court sides with the plaintiffs the military will have difficulty overriding such a ruling, and that's their only hope, because as I've said, and I think demonstrated, the Uniform Code of Military Justice isn't uniform or justice.

Points to Ponder

Progressives are by their very nature contemptuous of the natural order of things.  Everything can be improved by their superior intellects.  By virtue of the purity of their motives and the advanced understanding we have these days, they can impose policies that violate human nature and, they think, prevail.  The Marxists are explicit in their promise that communism will create a "new man" (now updated to read "new person").  Self-interest would no longer operate in the communist utopia that would follow the supposedly transitory period of "dictatorship of the proletariat."  "From each according to his abilities, to each according to his needs."  Never mind who chose to lay about and who chose to work hard...

Of course, human nature being immutable, the "vanguard" in charge of the "dictatorship of the proletariat" in every single communist country has always held onto its own power and privileges and led societies where the gap between the lives of the elite and the masses dwarfed that of any capitalist system.  Trying to change human nature — or any other aspect of the natural order (see, for example, Lysenkoism) — inevitably produces outcomes that are at best hilarious and at worst, catastrophic - Thomas Lifson October 2, 2021 Saturday schadenfreude: Prog thinks she can change nature, suddenly (and hilariously) discovers she can't

Biden insists that 97%-98% of the population must be vaccinated to end the COVID risk. However, as it seems possible that mass vaccination is a trigger for aggressive new variants, one can’t help thinking that he wishes to propagate the virus going forward to the midterm 2022 elections and beyond. That would explain why Biden and his CDC director, Dr. Rochelle Walensky, of the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, have overruled the CDC’s own advisory panel of experts’ recommendation against booster shots, further politicizing an already fraught issue: Forcing a gene therapy agent onto Americans............

On a personal note, the FDA has failed in its mandate to protect the public. As a retired medical device design and project engineer, I can tell you that the sheer number of deaths and adverse reactions (which may run to the thousands domestically, with this just the latest example) should be unacceptable. Apparently, the FDA has become a tool of the DNC and its silence is deafening about vaccine safety. The only bright spot was the CDC advisory panel’s sober recommendation about boosters, which its Director promptly ignored.

The FDA has an obligation to safeguard the public and it’s failing in that duty considering that the fully vaccinated are contracting COVID as a breakthrough illness in too many cases. We have cheap and effective therapeutic drug therapies that have been proven to defeat this virus, though we are denied their use. Decisions about therapeutic drugs should be between ourselves and our physicians, free from government interference and the creeping tyranny of the DNC.

Why, are we only given an ineffective so-called genetic vaccine; in a vaccinate or nothing proposition, instead of proven treatment? And why does Biden seem determined to make 98% of the country guinea pigs for a leaky vaccine and endless boosters?

Remember Afghanistan. God help us. - Alan Halbert

Whether it is anti-vaccine content or politically incorrect discourse, free speech is under heavy attack in America. Take the case of philosopher and pedagogist Peter Boghossian, a Portland State University professor who recently resigned from his position in a searing open letter in which he accused the administration of fostering an environment hostile to intellectual inquiry and dissent.  “Students at Portland State are not being taught to think. Rather, they are being trained to mimic the moral certainty of ideologues,” he wrote. “Faculty and administrators have abdicated the university’s truth-seeking mission and instead drive intolerance of divergent beliefs and opinions. This has created a culture of offense where students are now afraid to speak openly and honestly.” You might say he’s reinventing the wheel -- well, right, but Boghossian is a liberal, a liberal who points the finger at the illiberal university. In his resignation letter, he claimed that when he tried to speak out against harmful “illiberalism,” he faced intense reprisal. “The more I spoke out about these issues, the more retaliation I faced,” he wrote. Is it a sign that enough is enough?

Diligent disciples of postmodern philosophers of the Frankfurt school and Italian Marxist theoretician Antonio Gramsci, who laid the foundation for the left’s slow takeover of the culture, leftists successfully infiltrated schools, religion, art, entertainment, the family, and, what is more, the language. Knowles’s subtitle, after all, speaks volumes: controlling words means controlling minds. What college campuses have become -- centers for leftist indoctrination -- is proof that there is a semantic context in which the game’s already lost before it starts, regardless of one’s personal feelings and beliefs. It was the leftists who won the game of semantics, and therefore, says Knowles, it is they who can set the terms and premises of any debate, especially those within elites and other important segments of public opinion and decision-making segments, and thereby win every time. If this isn’t a fight to the death, I don’t know what it is. -  S.R. Piccoli October 3, 2021 The Left and the Control of Meaning

A thousand-piece puzzle spread out on the dining room table is easier to put together than the testimony from our top military and civilian leadership regarding America’s withdrawal from Afghanistan. One of the Generals slouched his way through the hearing. Another General was defensive about improper negative interviews he gave regarding his former boss. The Secretary of Defense shifted blame for the whole thing to others and then dodged responsibility for cleaning up the mess he was partly responsible for creating. This is our top military leadership?

When one is faced with a thousand-piece puzzle, one starts by finding the straight edges. The puzzle has a border. What is the ‘border’ for these witnesses? The border is what our Constitution provides.  If this has the ring of ‘too many cooks in the kitchen’ it is because there are a lot of cooks in the kitchen regarding the War in Afghanistan.........Their ineptitude has cost many innocent lives. How our country is left with ‘woke’ versus ‘warrior’ in our military leadership may be partly explained by Obama’s military purges.

Isolating one issue at a time, gathering facts on the issue, and then drawing logical conclusions is part of the citizen evaluative process so important in our Republic. The Congressional hearings were very informative. By design, 1000 pieces of our national puzzle are now thrown to the public in the form of one disaster after another to encourage citizens to throw up their hands and give up on determining causation and accountability. The People are the Sovereign, however, and must judge performance to determine who is to represent them.  Eventually, as each piece of the puzzle is painstakingly put together, and action steps demanded by the public at each stage, the whole picture will be seen. What picture might this turn out to be?  The Swamp. - By M. E. Boyd October 3, 2021 The puzzling oversight hearings regarding the withdrawal from Afghanistan

Throughout the history of civilization, people have been dreaming of a perfect world -- full employment, full satisfaction of material and intellectual needs, and equal distribution of wealth -- only to discover, to their disappointment, that this utopian system does not exist on this side of the grave.  Nevertheless, the illusory ideas of economic equality transcend time and appeal to people of all colors and races. If the supporters of economic equality, including Marxist graduates of American universities, absorb human history, they may realize that the only historical datum that points to economic equality goes back to the era of primitive communism. Ten thousand years ago, before farming, people were forced to obtain food collectively. Everything that was produced was immediately consumed. This primitive society produced no surplus and created no wealth. Under such arrangement, the private property was limited to personal articles of clothing, hunting tools, etc. resulting in total economic equality -- in absolute poverty. Ironically, this is the only way economic equality can be achieved -- economic equality and wealth are mutually exclusive.

Inspired by human’s inherent desire for well-being and passion to extricate himself from misery, wealth creation became the locomotive of economic growth. Capitalism stands out as the greatest wealth generator and distributor that has created more wealth during the last 250 years than all preceding civilizations combined in 7,000 years.  Aristotle observed this phenomenon 2,400 years ago when he concluded that, "The worst form of inequality is to make unequal things equal."

During the 20th century, almost as if in accordance to some natural law, socialism marched triumphantly around the globe with intellectual and moral impetus to shape the world in compliance with its values. However, by the end of the century in most socialist countries, redistribution of wealth had reached the end of its potential, egalitarian values gradually eroded and socialist economies spectacularly collapsed.

The proponents of economic equality failed to recognize the immutable fact -- freedom enables people to use their ingenuity to generate wealth, whereas coerced economic equality suppresses the very freedom required to innovate and begets poverty. The greatest moral injustice is an attempt to regulate (control) wealth by the people of limited abilities who are seeking to satisfy their unlimited needs under the banner of self-serving definitions of justice and fairness.  But no lessons of history will dampen the magic of equality’s divine providence. To sell the ideology, the American socialists insist they have no intention of creating an egalitarian society; they just want to reduce the gap between rich and poor which they failed to define in commensurable terms. As long as there is a gap, the socialists will carry their convictions toward the ultimate objective -- making all of us, who are unequally rich, equally poor.

The embracement of the malignant ideology, which signifies the total inversion of American historical traditions and values, demonstrates the magnitude of America’s psychological and political demoralization. The country is no longer having the self-confidence to define its choices. In retrospect, Marxism would never take root in America if great statesmen of earlier times that aspired to equality in liberty had not completely died out and replaced by leaders of lesser wisdom who pursue equality in perpetual human misery.Alexander G. Markovsky October 3, 2021, Inequality -- the Engine of Prosperity

Yes, the Kamala cackle is incredibly annoying. The Democrats briefly thought that maybe, just maybe Kamala Harris would grow out of her repulsiveness and somehow rescue them from the doom that Joe Biden's deteriorating mental faculties portend for the party (and, incidentally, the nation).  Four days ago, The Hill optimistically headlined, "Democrats see Harris as major player in midterms," to which many conservatives (including me) reacted with the Dirty Harry catchphrase, "Go ahead, make my day."  She hasn't been subjected to "the lid" the way Biden is when he loses all lucidity, but when it comes to Kamala's visibility and popularity, Mies van der Rohe's axiom on modernist architecture applies: "Less is more."

That strategy unexpectedly fell apart when she made what was intended to be an uncontroversial visit to George Mason University to discuss "voting rights," which in DemSpeak means offering maximum opportunities for vote fraud.  It should have been a safe topic for her.  Lots of canned phrases such as "voter suppression" and students at a second-tier state university shouldn't be expected to pose really difficult questions. - Thomas Lifson October 2, 2021 When Kamala forgets to cackle under stress…

It is tragic for the individual, family, and loved ones of an elderly person suffering from dementia or Alzheimer's.  It is a disaster for our nation if it is our president.  Is President Biden suffering from a disease that is robbing him of his cognitive abilities? President Biden's longtime personal physician and now White House physician, Dr. Kevin O'Connor, has either not performed or not released the results of a cognitive test.  President Biden's staff shield him from view, and the media continue to protect the president from scrutiny.  Since the media have not explored the cognitive abilities of the president, we will do it by comparing the CDC's "10 Warning Signs of Alzheimer's" to President Biden's behavior..........If President Biden is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, why hasn't Congress acted in removing the president in accordance with Amendment XXV of the Constitution?  It may be that the Democrat leaders in the House and Senate know they need a weakened president to enact their legacy legislation and believe they can continue to  control of the federal government with Biden in the role.  Republican leaders in the House and Senate may believe that once they control both houses, they will have the power to approve the next vice president — all while our rivals across the globe take advantage of our weakened president and our allies plot a future without the United States.

America with a weakened leader reminds me of the instruction I received when parachuting.  If you have a malfunction, you must decide how bad of a malfunction.  If malfunction results in a broken leg or two, then ride it to the ground.  Because if you go to the reserve and it malfunctions, your life is over.  We cannot survive a President Harris, House speaker Pelosi, and Senate leader Schumer leading our country.  Let us all wait until the November 2022 elections. -  Mick Rich October 3, 2021 How does Biden stack up against a list of Alzheimer's symptoms?

Blinken and Austin head to Gulf and Europe on damage limitation trips

by Emily Brooks, Political Reporter | September 06, 2021

Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin and Secretary of State Antony Blinken set off on separate overseas trips starting in the Persian Gulf to thank allies for assistance in Afghanistan withdrawal efforts after a chaotic and deadly several weeks.

Blinken landed in Doha, Qatar, on Monday, where several diplomatic exchanges with the Taliban have taken place in recent years and where diplomatic operations serving Afghanistan have been based since the United States closed its embassy in Kabul, Afghanistan................. With the trips, Binken and Austin aim to reassure allies in the Gulf and Europe that the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan does not mean a U.S. abandonment of working with partners to combat extremist threats in the region..........To Read More....

My Take - Apparently they haven't gotten the memo.  "That door is closed" and no amount of clabber from incompetent ideologues like Austin, Blinken, Milley and Biden is going to change that because you are what you do, not what you say.

Jen Psaki may be able spew their leftist propaganda and the main stream media will eat it up, but in the real world leaders have to make real decisions that impact their nations.

No matter what they may say publicly, they're going to act in what they believe is in their nations best interests, and the Biden administration's actions tell the story.  He and his gang of misfits are incompetent and corrupt anti-American leftist ideologues who've clearly demonstrated they're not to be believed and not to be trusted.

If a President of the United States is willing to sell out his own nation, why would they believe he won't sell them out?

With Afghanistan around Their Necks, Austin and Milley Must Resign

There is only one way for senior military leaders and political appointees to object publicly to the president's decisions: submit their resignation.  Article 88 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice specifically prohibits commissioned officers from using contemptuous words against the president and certain other public officials, and, for civilian political appointees, showing public disagreement with the president would certainly result in dismissal.

Yet, despite the strategic blunder created by the president in precipitously abandoning Afghanistan, neither Gen. Lloyd Austin, the secretary of defense, nor Gen. Mark Milley, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, has submitted his resignation.  Rather, both have acquiesced to the president's assertion that there was a "unanimous recommendation" from the U.S. national security team that shuttering Bagram Air Base and conducting a chaotic retreat from Afghanistan through Hamid Karzai International Airport (HKIA) was the right course of action.  As we saw unfolding through the clear lens of hundreds of smartphones, media cameras, and eyewitness reports, the unscripted retreat from Afghanistan was an abysmal tactical and strategic mistake, which led to the unnecessary deaths of thirteen U.S. servicemen, an angry and questioning multi-national coalition, and thousands of disgusted military veterans and service members.

The case for resignation is strong, and resignations are necessary to restore not only the personal credibility of those resigning, but also the pre-eminence of the U.S. military among the world's global competitors.  Let's review:.............To Read More

Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin Calls Out Anti-Asian American Discrimination in U.S. During Trip to Singapore Defense Sec’y Austin Trashes Americans While in Singapore

Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin Calls Out Anti-Asian American Discrimination in U.S. During Trip to Singapore

Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin called out anti-Asian American discrimination in the United States during a trip to East Asia this week to reassure allies and partners.

“Our partnerships draw strength from our shared belief in greater openness, and our belief that people live best when they govern themselves. Now, our democratic values aren’t always easy to reach. And the United States doesn’t always get it right,”...... “We’ve seen some painful lapses, like the unacceptable and frankly un-American discrimination that some Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders have endured in my country in recent months,”

The Biden administration has made diversity a key focus at the Pentagon. Austin is the first African American secretary defense, and the first defense secretary to hire a senior adviser on human capital and diversity, equity, and inclusion issues.........To Read More....

My Take - What we've really seen in recent months are losers like this guy spouting clabber that clearly violates their oath of office.  As for all these hate crimes against Asian Americans, who exactly are responsible? Is it white America? Is it Hispanic America?  Is it Asian on Asian Americans?  Or is it black America?  You can only take one guess!

This man is a disgrace, right along with Colin Powell who openly supported Joe Biden for President.

Deep State Turns On President Biden Over Afghanistan

By April 19, 2021

In the early days of the Trump administration, the “deep state” — the permanent bureaucracy of the FBI and other national security-related agencies — targeted President Trump and his national security   Some of us warned at the time that there was something fundamentally undemocratic about unelected careerists undercutting the elected president. We were dismissed as conspiracy theorists smearing patriotic whistleblowers.

Now President Biden is in the White House, and it sure looks like the deep state is at it again. This time around the issue is Mr. Biden’s announced decision to pull all American troops out of Afghanistan by September 11, 2021, the 20th anniversary of the attacks on the Pentagon and World Trade Center.  The press is reporting, based on anonymous sources, that the military brass disagreed with the decision.

“U.S. officials said that Gen. Mark A. Milley, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Gen. Frank McKenzie, head of U.S. Central Command, and Gen. Austin ‘Scottie’ Miller, commander of U.S. and NATO troops, all advocated a conditions-based approach, additional time for negotiation, or, at a minimum, keeping some sort of residual counterterrorism force on the ground in Afghanistan,” the Washington Post reports. “The generals said that the fall of Kabul to the Taliban, waves of Afghan refugees rushing to neighboring countries and Europe, and the reemergence of al-Qaeda as a potent terrorist threat were very real possibilities.”

The Post says Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, “like his counterparts in uniform, supported a continued military presence...........That Secretary Austin sided with the generals rather than President Biden..........[a] terrain just as treacherous as the trap the FBI laid for General Flynn. The principle that the president is in charge of the executive branch applies equally whether the president is President Trump or President Biden. .........To Read More....

Biden Defense Secretary Orders Several “Immediate Actions” to Weed Out ‘Extremism’ in the Ranks

Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin on Friday signed a memo ordering several “immediate actions” to weed out so-called ‘extremism’ in the ranks. Austin signed this memo after he ordered military-wide “stand downs” to “address white nationalism” and rid the military of “extremists and racists.”

  • Review and update the DoD’s definition of extremism.
  • Update servicemember checklists to include “training on potential targeting of service members by extremist groups and work with other federal departments agencies to create a mechanism by which veterans have the opportunity to report any potential contact with an extremist group should they chose to do so.”
  • Review and standardization of screening questionnaire: “To solicit specific information about current or previous extremist behavior. 1) To gather actionable information in the short term to ensure that only the best qualified recruits are selected for services, and 2) to clarify that any demonstrably false answers provided in response could form the basis for punitive action for fraudulent enlistment.”
  • Commission an Extremism Study: “The Department will commission a study on extremist behavior within our Total Force, to include gaining greater fidelity on the scope of the problem.”

Defense officials last Wednesday said the Pentagon is reversing Trump-era policies that banned transgender people from serving in the military.
