And You Wonder Why Conservatives Hate Republicans

 By Rich Kozlovich

Conservatives have strong feelings about how things should work, and typically they despise the Democrats because they really are the party of treason, and even the most casual observer has finally come to that conclusion.  It's clear now they're openly communists and they support all things that are antithetical anything that actually works.

They want more taxes, more regulations, ending police protection, closing all prisons, and overall promoting all the things the world would have clearly thought was not only stupid and insane, but disgusting 25 years ago.  Not to mention the fact they openly state they wish to destroy America.  One thing should finally be clear to everyone, this really is a conspiracy by a cabal of wealthy leftist and Anti-American governments around the world who are organizing and funding these people.

Then we come to the Republicans who publicly decry all the things Democrats stand for and promote.  At least publicly.  The difference between Democrats and Republicans is Democrats know what they believe and work for those things, no matter how insane or despicable they may be.

The Republicans are clueless and are totally incapable of walking their talk because.... as a party ..... they really have no idea what they believe, and the public is sure they don't really believe in anything except to get elected so they can get rich, as so many other politicians have done while earning 175 thousand a year became multimillionaires in just a few years.  Now... why would anyone think there was anything corrupt with that?  Right?

What prompted this piece isn't the Republican leadership's invertebracy over their unwillingness to pass the SAVE act knowing full well the Democrats will cheat.  Especially after this latest ruling by SCOTUS that says the Democrats can count ballots (many of which will be "lost" ballots that Scotty will beam down from the Starship Enterprise) for just as long as they please, and will be just as fictional as Star Trek.

  •  The Senate’s Gutless Republican Wonders - In today’s America, you can’t even get a speeding ticket without a photo ID. Granted, you might be thrown in jail if you get caught speeding and forgot your ID; but you will eventually have to prove that you are who you say you are to get out of the hoosgow. Nor will you be able to board an airliner. However, you can vote in most states. To many Americans who voted Republican in the last election, voter ID should be a no-brainer. With a majority — however thin — the gutless Senate Republicans cannot pass one of the president’s most important legislative priorities: the Safeguard America voter ID bill.......

Ah, c'mon man, let's be reasonable, there's no need to worry about election fraud .... right!  This was one of the issues Republicans ran on, but as usual, they were talking big and ended up walking small.  No, that isn't what motivated this piece.  This piece was prompted by two article I just read.

The Highway to Hell Bill That’ll Raise Costs for Families by EJ Antoni, Ph.D. | Jul 02, 2026 saying:

After years of soaring costs and an affordability crisis, the last thing Americans need is a bloated highway bill that wastes taxpayers’ dollars while imposing higher costs on consumers. Unfortunately, that’s exactly what’s getting kicked around the halls of Congress right now: a pork-filled monstrosity masquerading as a highway bill.

The legislation in question is the deceptively named “BUILD America 250 Act,”,...............Despite its name, the act doesn’t improve railway safety but does impose a slew of new mandates and costs. It would impose draconian standards on America’s railroads and lock in older technologies, thereby discouraging the very innovation that has made these railroads the most efficient in the world.......

And what does the country receive in exchange for all these downsides? No proven safety benefit.............The bill also directly reaches into drivers' wallets. It creates a new federal vehicle registration fee and conscripts notoriously inefficient state motor vehicle departments to collect and remit the fee to Washington, turning the states into federal tax collectors. Not only does the law deputize state-level bureaucracy, but it’ll also subsidize the inefficiency, too............

The Transportation Bill That Proves Washington Can't Quit Clientelism  By Veronique de Rugy Jul 02, 2026 saying:

Congress loves to wrap legislation in the language of the public interest. This year's surface transportation reauthorization bill is no exception. Supporters describe the House Transportation Committee-passed package as a major safety bill designed to make America's transportation system more secure and efficient...........

Fiscal conservatives, assuming there are still enough of them to be heard in Congress, should be particularly concerned about a package that authorizes roughly $580 billion in spending while doing little to address the long-term insolvency of the Highway Trust Fund. Legislators are instead choosing to promise more spending while avoiding the structural reforms necessary to put transportation funding on sustainable footing.................... t

hey inserted a controversial new federal registration fee structure for electric and hybrid vehicles. Progressives oppose it because they believe it discourages EV adoption. Many conservatives oppose it because it expands federal fee collection and further entangles state governments in administering federal policy............The result is predictable: Every organized interest receives something of value. Taxpayers inherit the costs..........

Pigs feeding at the government trough, and please remember, less regulations, less government, ending corruption and less taxes were the themes touted by all the Republicans.... you know..... that party that controls Congress.  Hey, c'mon man, stop being so picky, what's to dislike?  Right?

Part II will follow.
