Don't know much about geology ... Biden's interior secretary, Deb Haaland, tells us how little she know about her job

April 1, 2023 By Monica Showalter

What happens when a president chooses his Cabinet based on skin color and "historic firsts"?  The result is here:.............According to Yahoo! News, the Biden-appointed Interior secretary, Deb Haaland, had her exchange with GOP rep. Ryan Zinke of Montana, a former interior secretary himself, who clearly had a command of the critical facts as Haaland came to Congress to argue for expanding her department with billions more in its budget...........How wretched can you get?  She wasn't sneering or arrogant, the way Homeland Security secretary Alejandro Mayorkas was to congressional questioners, but she more than made up for it by her ignorance of basic knowledge in order to do her actual job. Here's what The Economist ran in recent days:...............To Read More....

A Clown-Car Administration

by Scott Johnson in Biden Administration, Joe Biden

President Biden is the Clown-in-Chief of the big circus that is the Biden administration. He has half a mind to be president. There is nothing funny about it. His administration is a circus colloquially speaking. President Biden and senior administration officials are not serious people. They have manifested as political hacks.

  • Biden’s selection of Kamala Harris as his running mate set the tone. Her self-identification as black was prerequisite to her selection. Transparency is her leading quality. To put it discreetly, she is transparently vacuous.
  • Take Janet Yellen — please. ... Inflation — it was transitory. Recession — not yet. Abortion — restricting it would be “very damaging” to the economy.............
  • Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin has managed to create a recruiting crisis for the armed forces. He has injected the Democratic Party’s racial mania into the veins of every branch of the military..........
  • Merrick Garland........... declaration that “white supremacists” constitute our biggest national security threat is party-line histrionics unbecoming to his office.
  • Secretary of State, Antony Blinken.........has done everything within the realm of the politically deniable to appease the mullahs and is still at it. He has fallen far short of the requirements of the office.
  • DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas.........has taken Baghdad Bob as his role model.
  • Secretary of Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra, Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona, and Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg put the exclamation point on my clown-car metaphor. How can all those clowns fit in one car?
  • Most recently, Secretary Cardona has unveiled his plans to codify the “trans” ideology that grips the left. ...........To Read More....

Kagan claims Supreme Court has to follow 'public sentiment'

Social media delivers harsh verdict: 'That's not how it works'

Bob Unruh By Bob Unruh July 22, 2022

Supreme Court Justice Elena Kagan, appointed by Barack Obama, has claimed at a conference that the court must follow "public sentiment" in its decisions or it risks losing its legitimacy. And she was immediately schooled on the fact that "public sentiment" should have nothing to do with the court's decisions, as they are supposed to be based on the Constitution.  The Washington Examiner explained her comments came at a judicial conference in Montana.

"I'm not talking about any particular decision or even any particular series of decisions, but if over time the court loses all connection with the public and with public sentiment, that's a dangerous thing for a democracy," she claimed.

Kagan, a far-left liberal, charged it could be dangerous if people continue to view the justices as partisan, "likely an allusion to the recent contentious court term that saw the overturning of Roe v. Wade and an expansion of gun rights," the report said............To Read More...

My Take - And this is the nitwit some were saying was going to have to carry Sotomayor and Jackson on her back.  And she's the tip of the iceberg.  The depths of stupid for Biden nominees is a bottomless pit.  This Biden judicial nominee wants to eliminate prisons and defund all police departments and promote CRT in the nation's schools.   Biden's picks are just like Joe, all belong at the shallow end of the gene pool.  I've advocated for age and term limits for the federal judiciary, and lo and behold, so does America.  It's time for a 28th Amendment.

Exclusive — Ship of Fools: 62 Percent of Biden Officials Who Handle Economic Policy Have Zero Years Business Experience Per Report

Matthew Boyle 13 Jul 2022

An explosive new analysis published by the Committee to Unleash Prosperity reveals that Democrat President Joe Biden’s administration has very few business-oriented officials in the administration and that the vast majority of people handling economic policy for the United States government under Biden have no business experience whatsoever.

The 15-page report, authored by economist Steve Moore and the Committee to Unleash Prosperity‘s executive director Jon Decker, was provided to Breitbart News exclusively ahead of its public release. The headline of the report is: “Not Ready for Prime Time Players: Majority of Biden Appointees have Zero Years of Business Experience.” The report analyzes the backgrounds of the “top 68 officials in the Biden administration, starting with the president himself, and including cabinet members, regulatory officials, and White House advisers.”

In the executive summary, the authors detail some key findings in the report. First and foremost, 62 percent of Biden’s top political appointees and staffers “who deal with economic policy, regulation, commerce, energy and finance have virtually no business experience.”

What’s more, only one out of eight Biden officials has what the authors deem “extensive business experience,” and the average level of business experience across the Biden administration is about 2.4 years. The median years of business experience among Biden’s top appointees is zero, since so few have any experience in the private sector, and the “vast majority of the Biden economic/commerce team members are professional politicians, lawyers, community organizers, lobbyists, or government employees.”............To Read More.....

  • Biden's top 68 appointees have just 2.4 years of business experience, analysis finds - including 62 percent of officials who have 'virtually NO private sector experience' on their work records - The report found that 62 percent of Biden appointees who deal directly with business matters - economic policy, regulation, commerce, energy and finance, have 'virtually no business experience.' Only one in 8 were found to have 'extensive' business experience and their average business experience was 2.4 years.  'These highest level people who are in charge of kind of keeping our economy on track of haven't got the experience to deal with, you know, the logistics of managing $22 trillion economy,' Moore told DailyMail.com in an interview. 'You have basically lawyers and university professors and community activists that don't have any experience with managing a big operation or steering the economy in the right direction.' ..........

Alex also reports on Massachusetts Sen. Liz Warren’s latest abortion hysteria, another crime story involving a man who recently had a beard but now thinks he’s a woman, the renewed push for mask mandates, and why New York City stinks both literally and figuratively. Our guest today is economist Stephen Moore, who conducted a study revealing that only 62 percent of the Biden administration officials who handle economic policy have actual business experience........

HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra Laughs While Suggesting American Taxpayers Could Foot the Bill for Transporting Women to Pro-Abortion States

Biden Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra laughed Monday as he suggested his agency is considering using taxpayer funds to transport women to pro-abortion states so they can end the lives of their unborn babies.

During an interview with NBC News following the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade and return the issue of abortion to the states, Kate Snow asked Becerra, “What are you doing concretely in response to the Court’s decision, to try to help women?”................To Read More....

They're Beyond the Peter Principle: They're Criminals

The Peter Principle: People are promoted to their level of incompetence.

By Rich Kozlovich

Since Biden became President of the United States I've tried in some small way to track to important positions in the federal government.  From the cabinet, to the judiciary, the military, and to the various agencies, there are two things that stand out to those who've paid attention: They're weird and they hate America, and we're seeing the madness of King Brandon on display.

On June 29, 2022 it was reported that Energy Secretary Granholm violated the Hatch Act by encouraging votes for Democrats during interview, and that conclusion was the result of an investigation by the U.S. Office of Special Counsel.  Clearly an independent federal agency.  And she "received appropriate training and the office has advised her that any future violations will be considered a "willful and knowing violation of the law, which could result in further action."  Wow!  They were really tough on her!  Just a little snark.

But anyone whose paid any amount of attention to these people and watched the Senate hearings where they were questioned there's only one conclusion.  They were already at the peak of the Peter Principle before they were appointed.  But the quality of their competence is only part of the problem.

Secretary of Home Land Security Mayorkas has been in the news a lot these days regarding his
Did he lie?  There's been a pattern of lies to Congress by Mayorkas, as the Washington Post Says Mayorkas’s ‘Prompt Deportation’ Claim Is ‘Mostly False’.  Immigration at the border has been in reality open treason by Mayorkas and the Biden administration.  That breeds the obvious conclusion expressed by Sen. Rick Scott: Mayorkas Has Lied to Congress & the American People – He Must Resign

Silvio Canto, Jr. says there are 51 reasons for Mayorkas to resign because he's in charge of this immigration mess and recently 51 people were found dead in a trailer roasted to death, and its all on Mayorkas, but especially Joe Biden.  Their blood is on their hands.

Then there's the energy crisis.  No advanced society can exist and prosper without sufficient energy.  America was a nation that was not only energy independent but an energy exporter less than two years ago, is now facing an energy crisis and even black outs.  Why?  America has more oil than all the Middle East combined, but we have to drill for it.

We have energy issues because Biden and his crew are nuts over something that's not occurring, , and blaming something that has absolutely no impact on the world's climate, manmade and claim we need to end use and become totally green.
Kelly Haughton posted this piece, Fire Kerry, fire McCarthy, fire Granholm "Ending the "energy crisis" requires serious housecleaning."

“Joe Biden can end the global energy crisis in 3 easy steps: 1. Promise to stop his anti-fossil fuel-fuel agenda for the remainder of his administration. 2. Withdraw from the Paris Agreement. 3. Encourage other countries to do 1 and 2. Production will surge, prices will plummet.”

She outlines three steps in fixing that problem, First fire John Kerry for his opposition to fossil fuels, and his efforts to destroy oil producing companies.  Second, fire Gina McCarthy, Biden’s National Climate Advisor. McCarthy, a one time EPA administrator who was a disaster then and still is, is part of this insane green cabal.  She and the position she holds should be assigned to the ash heap of  history and finally, fire Secretary of Energy Jennifer Granholm

All of these people are in opposition to America's energy production and independence.  All of these people are demanding America totally transition into alternative energy production and "go green" in our use of energy, which is scientifically and factually  impossible, and they have to know it. No amount of incremental wind and solar power can ever provide energy independence.
Conclusion? If what I've said about energy production is true, and it is, and if their policies and actions are in direct opposition to that, and they are, then we must conclude they're consciously and deliberately working to destroy America.

Why should they be allowed to continue?

He Called America Racist, Now He's in Charge of Our Nukes

June 23, 2022

It was the summer of 2020. Black Lives Matter riots were terrorizing, destroying, and burning American cities. And the first black deputy commander of Air Force Global Strike Command told everyone in the Air Force that he was terrified that white people could kill him at any moment.

“Here I am as a lieutenant general in the United States Air Force," then Lt. Gen Anthony Cotton whined to Air Force Magazine. “When I see what happened to Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, George Floyd, Rayshard Brooks—and the list goes on and on."

"That could be me," he claimed.

Since Cotton was, unlike Breonna Taylor, probably not harboring an armed drug dealer who opened fire on police or, unlike George Floyd, overdosing on fentanyl during a struggle with police as the climax to a long criminal career, that was a disingenuous smear from a top officer.

The spectacle of successful black men like Obama, Merck CEO Kenneth Frazier, or Gen. Anthony Cotton falsely claiming that America is so racist that any of them could suffer the fate of career criminals simply because of an accident of skin color is pathetic and disgusting. The Merck CEO or the Air Force general are as likely to suffer the fate of George Floyd as their white counterparts are to end up like a dead white meth addict shot in a raid in Georgia.

But Cotton knew what he was doing. What he was doing was dishonorable and self-serving.

And it worked.

Two years after complaining about police lights flashing in his rearview mirror and someone challenging his parking spot, Cotton has been nominated by Biden to head U.S. Strategic Command.

It’s been a rapid ascent for Gen. Anthony Cotton who had been appointed to head Air Force Global Strike Command last year, after being Deputy Commander of the same in 2019, up from the head of Air University in 2018. Air University, like a lot of Air Force and Navy educational institutions, had gone painfully woke. And Cotton earned his political stripes in the process.

Gen. Anthony Cotton, a four-star general, racked up some “firsts” attached to his name in the Black Lives Matter era, but that never seems to lessen the accusations of racism.

Charles Q. Brown, Jr. is the Air Force's first black chief of staff, and has been tipped to replace Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, Gen. Milley. That hadn’t stopped Brown from crying racism and smearing the country he claims to serve.

In a speech in which Brown “seemed to barely contain his rage”, he ranted “that the ideals of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution ‘that I’ve sworn my adult life to support and defend’ have not always delivered ‘liberty and equality’ to all.”

"I am a Black man who happens to be the Chief Master Sergeant of the Air Force," Kaleth O. Wright, the second black man to serve as the highest ranking noncommissioned officer, tweeted. "I am George Floyd…I am Philando Castile, I am Michael Brown."

Cotton is following a familiar identity politics career model that’s bad for America, but good for unprincipled men who are willing to smear their country and play the victim.

Is America any less racist with the first black Air Force Chief of Staff, Chief Master Sergeant, head of Air Force Global Strike Command and now likely head of Strategic Command?

Somehow it’s only more racist.

Last year, Cotton claimed that "diversity, inclusion are tools for national defense" and that diversity is a "warfighting imperative". Perhaps actually winning wars would be imperative.

Has the Air Force become any more lethal on the battlefield ever?

“This team is exactly what we are looking for,” Cotton said of the Diversity and Inclusion Council at Malmstrom Air Force Base. “It is a diverse and unified team that is having crucial conversations about diversity and inclusion.”

The Montana Air Force base near Great Falls now has a Pride Month and will be spreading "unconscious bias training" which claims that all white people are racist.

Malmstrom has had a number of issues. Its nuclear missile unit has failed safety and security inspections, and bungled a response to a "simulated hostile takeover of a silo housing a nuclear missile". There was also a cheating scandal involving 34 missile launch officers during a nuclear proficiency test and many more who knew about the cheating, but didn’t report it.

This was part of a string of problems going back over a decade. Cotton had been in charge of ICBMs at Malmstrom from 2009 to 2011. And he’s gone on climbing the ladder ever since.

Malmstrom's nuclear arsenal is there to deter a nuclear war or end it quickly if it begins.

Having “crucial conversations about diversity” is not its mission, maintaining security procedures and being ready to kill one hundred million people in China, if necessary, is.

Are woke missileers who have conversations about how racist America is better at their jobs?

As head of U.S. Strategic Command, Gen. Cotton will have a leading responsibility in defending or going on the offensive against America’s enemies. But does he view America as the enemy?

Now that its leadership is “diverse” in the sense of being concentrated among members of a single race who agree that the country they claim to serve is a racist place that randomly kills black people on account of their race, is the Air Force any better for it?

FrontPage Magazine’s latest pamphlet, How Obama and Biden Destroyed the Greatest Military the World Has Ever Seen, documents how readiness rates for F-22 stealth fighters are at the halfway mark, CV-22 Ospreys are at 50%, F-35As are at 68%, F-15E's are at 66%, and the B-1 Lancer is at 40%. The B-1s are under Air Force Global Strike Command.

Instead of cleaning house, the Biden administration is rewarding failure and doubling down on wokeness. The Air Force isn’t ready for a major war, but its diverse leaders are eager to fight one against other Americans.

In an interview with Air Force Magazine, Cotton was described as saying that he "hopes the U.S. can reach a point where he doesn’t have to talk to his adult children about how to stay safe every week" from what is apparently the lurking menace of evil white people everywhere.

Given the opportunity, you have to wonder whether Cotton would nuke Beijing or Texas.

“It’s time for our nation to really dive into this and get after it—once and for all. And hopefully, you know, I don’t have to have those conversations with my kids," he complained.

Perhaps it’s time for the Air Force to stop having conversations about racism mandated by racists and for our nation to stop handing over our national defense to those who hate her.

Pollak: We Cannot Have a Supreme Court Justice Who Thinks Constitution Is Racist

Joel B. Pollak

Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson is an admirer of Critical Race Theory, the “1619 Project,” and Black Lives Matter, all of which hold beliefs about the United States and its laws that make it impossible for her to serve in good faith on the Supreme Court.  Her beliefs were revealed in a recently unearthed lecture delivered to the University of Michigan Law School — not as a young student, but as a sitting federal judge in 2020, confirmed a year later to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit.

Somehow Judge Jackson’s radical beliefs escaped close scrutiny in previous confirmations, but the Supreme Court defines the central principles of our republic, and its nominees invariably receive more careful attention, and quite deservedly so.  Moreover, Judge Jackson is the first Supreme Court nominee to be selected explicitly because of her race and gender. President Joe Biden declared that his first nominee would be a black woman, thereby invoking the kind of discrimination that the Supreme Court itself has said is unconstitutional...........To Read More...

My Take -   Here was my piece on February 27, 2022 on this Biden Pick.  I noted that former Speaker of the House Paul Ryan has nothing but praise for her .  For her "intellect, for her character, and for her integrity, [which according to him] is unequivocal."  He went on to say, "I know she is clearly qualified. But it bears repeating just how qualified she is," ..... "She’s an amazing person, and I favorably recommend her for consideration."  You might think he would know because she's related to him through marriage, but that bodes well the question:  Is he unbiased?

Given his history, how good are the tenuous views of this major RINO on anything? He proved his mettle while Speaker of the House and was found seriously wanting, and then again, Paul Ryan also thought Hillary was just dandy.  I think this can be added to my list: Ketanji Brown Jackson. Not Looking Good!

And this article shows just how flawed are the views of Paul Ryan.

The Madness of King Brandon

By Don Fisher, Jr.  December 21, 2021 @ American Thinker

(Editor's Note:  I'm publishing this in full without permission, and will cut it down to a link if either American Thinker or the Author object.  However, I think this article needs to be published in full to get the full impact of  what Biden has wrought, especially now asking this question.  Can anyone name one area in which Biden and his band of nitwits have not failed.....miserably? RK)

Less than one year since he assumed office, Joe Biden has managed to turn his presidency into a deeply unpopular monarchy.  No longer is he the genial but generally harmless buffoon who entertained most of us while he was in Congress with his mispronunciations, misquotes, and embellished tales of dubious authenticity.  As a result of the 2020 presidential election that was, at best, questionable, Biden was elevated well past his ability, and he proceeded to wreck virtually everything he touched as leader of the free world.

On his first day in office, via executive order, Biden closed the Keystone pipeline for no other reason than a spiteful rebuke of President Trump's energy independence program.  It was a hare-brained sop to his fellow environmentalist lunatics who believed that this gesture would somehow "heal the planet" and reduce the phantom scourge of climate change.  How that was supposed to make a difference is anybody's guess.  It did, however, immediately succeed in reducing the supply of petroleum to our nation and raising the price of consumer gasoline and oil, as well as transporting goods.  Great start there, Joe!

In August, Biden began a bizarre, ill advised, and poorly executed withdrawal of U.S. troops from Afghanistan, which stranded many U.S. civilians and military personnel there and left a reported $85 billion in taxpayer funded, top-of-the-line, and completely operational military equipment for our Taliban enemies to plunder, which they did.  Biden decided that it was a great idea to evacuate troops first and let the rest of the area and our abandoned facilities fall into chaos afterward.  Images of people running to catch airplanes out of the war-torn cesspool flooded the airwaves, which served to underscore the incredibly bone-headed decision to remove the troops who enforced the rules and prevented the area from descending into chaos for many years.  With one stupid decision, Biden handed Afghanistan back to the savage and repressive regime that held it before.  This will be Joe's legacy.

During 2021, Biden's ongoing battle with the American public over COVID-19 revealed the utter contempt he had for anyone who didn't accede to his demands.  His laughably useless mask mandate gave way to his demand that everyone in our nation get an increasingly large cocktail of experimental medicines, with his non–medically supported goal of getting rid of all of the COVID variants due to his mistaken belief that only unvaccinated people could carry and spread the COVID virus.  Once again, Joe was wrong, but he wouldn't stop to admit it.  Rather than consult actual medical experts, and not fame-hungry media personalities who sought more time on TV, Biden gave orders for COVID vaccinations and demanded that the populace obey without question.  Like a child who didn't get his way, Biden became increasingly frustrated when anyone dared oppose him, regardless of medical or scientific evidence that countered his opinions.  He surrounded himself with sycophants who swore fealty to him and twisted logic into pretzels to make sense of Biden's decrees.  Former CNN talking head and current press secretary Jen "circle-back" Psaki proved to be especially adept at this.

The summer of 2021 brought hundreds of thousands of illegal migrants into this country via an unenforced border that many described as "porous."  Despite draconian COVID restrictions and required testing for many Americans who live here, Biden turned a blind eye to health concerns and guarding our border.  Instead, he allowed what can only be described as a foreign invasion from virtually anyone, regardless of COVID or vaccination status, who wanted to enter our country along our alleged southern border.  The border wall that President Trump worked to build and fought Congress to fund was disregarded by Biden, and ramshackle, filthy tent cities were set up inside our country by the hordes of illegal migrant families who walked into our country to gain de facto citizenship, courtesy of the Biden administration.   For their trouble, illegal aliens were rewarded with free (American taxpayer-funded) health care, welfare, transportation, career and education assistance, and even $1,400 stimulus checks.

The icing on the leftist cake of idiotic accomplishments was Biden's appointment of pretend woman Richard "Rachel" Levine to the position of assistant secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).  Biden's HHS secretary lackey, Xavier Becerra, crowed about the historic nature of having a deluded and mentally ill (and yes, gender dysphoria is a mental illness) man who wears a dress as "the first openly transgender four-star officer."  Anyone who didn't participate in Biden's version of make-believe and instead pointed out Mr. Levine's actual sex was labeled a bigot by the lapdog news media and scolded by fellow leftists.  Science!

Throughout his only career in his life, in which he lived on the taxpayer's dime, Biden's main skill seemed to be his ability to win re-election to the Senate by projecting the home-spun image of "Joe from Scranton," which bamboozled voters into believing he was a regular guy who was on their side in D.C.  Below the surface, the reality was quite different, as even his former running mate, Barack Obama, reportedly said, "Don't underestimate Joe's ability to f--- things up."  After witnessing the events of Biden's first year in office, I believe that every sober-minded American would agree with Mr. Obama's warning.

Political observers knew of Biden's authoritarian leanings before he took office, but they were on full display for everyone once he was sworn into office as president.  With such a disastrous beginning that illustrates Mr. Biden's leadership capabilities, it's already apparent that his presidency will be remembered as an embarrassing footnote in our nation's history.  Hopefully, the elections of 2022 and 2024 will restore some measure of sanity and order to our nation's government.

The Federal Judiciary is Not About the Rule of Law

If there ever was a time for a 28th Amendment to the Constitution to impose term limits on the federal judiciary, it's now.

By Rich Kozlovich

For weeks I've been watching these YouTube hearings on Biden's nominees to the judiciary, and other positions.  One thing, and one thing only seems clear from their answers:  They must have all gone to the same school of clabber as they started all their answers with "Senator, Thank you for that question", and then failed to answer it.

Senator John Kennedy Asks One Judicial Nominee Same Question Nine Times, trying to get to her personal views on a subject, and still can't get it even after stipulating they would be fair and unbiased in their judgements, if they would just answer the questions asked.  He finally got an answer.  He asked what her favorite color was.  Blue.  And this pattern plays out over and over and over and over and over again.  Every one of these nominees were clearly leftist radicals, and one nominee Biden put forward was a Soviet trained economist he chose to be the next comptroller of the currency.

So, why would we think this latest nominee, Ketanji Brown Jackson, to the Supreme Court of the United States would be any less radical?  Any less leftist?  Any less destructive to the Constitution? Let's take a look at what's being said about Ketanji Brown Jackson.

Biden  claims she's a “proven consensus builder” and a “distinguished jurist.”  But he also said he want's a justice who thinks it's their job to "expand the meaning of the Constitution without constitutional amendments. President Biden stressed that his nominee must follow a "living constitution" approach, including a broad view of “unenumerated rights.”  Jackson has not answered that question.  The phrase to describe her view: "Obscure and conflicted", and at one point answered she "simply did not have experience with such interpretations as a judge."  Just as obscure and evasive as all these other radicals.

And former Speaker of the House Paul Ryan has nothing but praise for her "intellect, for her character, and for her integrity, [which according to him] is unequivocal."  He went on to say, "I know she is clearly qualified. But it bears repeating just how qualified she is," ..... "She’s an amazing person, and I favorably recommend her for consideration."  I would think he would know as she's related to him through marriage.   But, how good are the tenuous views of this major RINO on anything? He proved his mettle while Speaker of the House and was found seriously wanting.

Liberty Nation’s legal affairs editor, Scott D. Cosenza, offers his thoughts on Jackson’s nomination and how she measures up to the nation’s highest court saying:

There is nothing about Judge Jackson’s history to indicate she will be especially impulsive or partisan. She seems well suited to the role of justice.......... I expect her to be a reliable vote for the left, as Justice Breyer would, and also deviate from partisan wishes when she believes they are wrong........Leaving aside the race and sex-based discrimination baked into her nomination, it’s that public defender experience..........

Well, let's take a look at her intelligence, integrity and character.

First off, I will stipulate a public defender is obligated to do everything ethical to defend their client no matter how contemptible their deeds may have been.  But while defending one of the terrorists jailed at Guantanamo she blatantly lied about the treatment of prisoner at Guantanamo claiming:

"Many of the most egregious interrogation techniques used in the Abu Ghraib detention center and other detention facilities in Iraq — such as the use of aggressive dogs to intimidate detainees, sexual humiliation, stress positions, and sensory deprivation — were pioneered at Guantanamo,"

This was investigated and it was an absolutely false accusation.  She accused them of performing heinous acts which never happened, and I can't believe she was doing that out of ignorance.

Is that a preview of her character?  Her intelligence? Her integrity? And is she really well qualified? Or is this nominee a hard left radical, and is this a Wink and Nod nomination?  Let's see.

Jim Hoft claims she's "a radical judge who has ruled many times against the Trump administration", but does that make her radical and unqualified?

  • She broke the client attorney privilege rule declaring "Don McGahn must testify to Congress about his time as Trump’s White House counsel"
  • "temporarily blocked the deportation of two migrants who claimed the Trump Administration’s new “lesson plan” for asylum officers makes it harder to prove fear of returning to their home country.  Her ruling was so radical that Acting US Citizenship and Immigration Director Ken Cuccinelli slammed the activist judge.
  • Judge Jackson also was accused of judicial overreach in American Federation of Government Employees v. Trump in 2018, when she stopped the Trump administration from implementing provisions limiting the ability of federal workers’ unions to collectively bargain. Noting that Jackson was a prospective choice for the Supreme Court, The Washington Post heralded the ruling as a major victory for unions. However, a unanimous ruling by the D.C. Circuit held that Jackson lacked jurisdiction to decide the case because the statute clearly mandates such challenges must be brought first in the agency process and that judicial review is then available in the courts of appeals.

This is her "sterling" judicial reputation? This is a judge that has been reversed by left wing judges, and it's clear she has been, and will be, guilty of judicial overreach, and who will overturn her once she's on the Supreme Court?  I wouldn't count on Roberts, Kavanaugh or Barrett. This is a Wink and a Nod nomination for a totally unqualified judge whose intelligence, character and integrity isn't unequivocal, it's all highly questionable.

The left and the media claim she's in the main stream, and all agree that she's the best choice, however, none of them can explain why, and if she's mainstream, that stream must be running through the center of Venezuela.

Remember, they all claimed Merritt Garland (the now Attorney General who unreleased the FBI on parents protesting school board decisions) was a "moderate" also.

So, back to my earlier question: Why would we think this latest nominee to the Supreme Court of the United States would be any less radical?  Any less leftist?  Any less destructive to the Constitution?

We shouldn't!

Biden's nominee on energy companies: 'We want them to go bankrupt'

'We basically get rid of those carbon financiers'

By WND News Services  November 10, 2021

President Joe Biden’s nominee for a key Treasury Department role admitted that oil, natural gas and coal firms need to go bankrupt to prevent climate change, a resurfaced video showed.

“Here what I’m thinking about is primarily the coal and oil and gas industry. A lot of the smaller players in that industry are going to probably go bankrupt in short order, at least we want them to go bankrupt if we want to tackle climate change,” Saule Omarova — who the Senate is considering to lead the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency — remarked in a clip uncovered Tuesday by the American Accountability Foundation (AAF), a conservative research group..........To Read More....

The Fed Nominees: Corks on the Water

Editorial of The New York Sun | February 14, 2022

The Senate Banking Committee is fixing to send to the full Senate tomorrow five nominees for governors of the Federal Reserve, including the chairman, Jerome Powell. The New York Sun opposes each of them (please see below). Yet our overriding concern is not the nominees themselves, but the failure of the senators to consider that the root of the problem in our economy lies with the system of fiat money itself.

We’ve been beating this drum in one orchestra or another since 1971, when America defaulted on its obligation under Bretton Woods to redeem at a 35th of an ounce of gold dollars presented to it by foreign governments. In the quarter-century of Bretton Woods, unemployment averaged 4.6 percent. Thomas Piketty’s inequality rate lurked at historic lows, as did the personal bankruptcy rate so closely watched by Senator Warren..............Sarah Bloom Raskin looks eager to take the Fed into the business of climate regulation for which it lacks a mandate. Senator McConnell has warned appointing her would make the Fed “a hyper-political super-legislature.” As for Lisa Cook, the Wall Street Journal this morning issued a devastating report on her hostility to open debate. Philip Jefferson appears to have been chosen more for his left-wing policy bona fides than any commitment to stable prices.........To Read More....

Biden’s Bad Bet on Race

Biden’s pledge to name a black woman—and only a black woman—to the Supreme Court is going down badly with Americans, a majority of whom are growing tired of the left’s relentless identity politics.  A new ABC News/Ipsos poll begins its report thus: A new ABC News/Ipsos poll finds that a plurality of Americans view the Supreme Court as motivated by partisanship, while President Joe Biden’s campaign trail vow to select..............To Read More.....
