If There is No Truth, Then Neither Heresy Nor Treason Exist!

I originally published this on October 5, 2014, and again on Tuesday, August 15, 2023, and for some reason it's being hit a lot now.  As I read it I thought to myself; I need to re-publish this again.  Remember, this was published 12 years ago, and look at how dramatically and quickly American culture has morphed into a downward swirl of insanity.  

This article is about foundational thinking. For anything to be successful it has to have foundational logic supporting all that takes place. For America, the Bible and the U.S. Constitution are foundational to the American story and the basis for American exceptionalism. Those are the two foundations I wish to ponder here.  The Holy Bible and the U.S. Constitution and the modern implications for both.   

There was a recent poll of U.S. Catholics taken that claims most Catholics back same-sex marriage claiming In an article by Lucy Madison which appeared on March 8, 2013 she states that:

"amid growing support for same-sex marriage nationwide, a new poll from Quinnipiac University shows that most Catholics in the U.S. also back same-sex marriage, despite the church's teachings against it."

She goes on to say that:

"According to the poll, which surveyed 497 adult Catholics from February 27 - March 4 with a margin of error of +/- 4.4 percent, 54 percent of Catholic voters support same-sex marriage, while 38 percent oppose it. The survey shows a dramatic shift on the subject in the last few years: In a July 2008 poll by Quinnipiac, only 36 percent of Catholic voters said they supported same-sex marriage, while 55 percent opposed it."

Among 1,944 registered voters surveyed in the same poll, 47 percent supported same-sex marriage and 43 percent opposed it. A December poll asking the same question showed a statistical tie on the issue, at 48 percent in support and 46 percent in opposition." 

I'm not all that impressed with polls because they are so easily twisted, but for my readers who are believers, Catholic or otherwise, I think this is worth pondering for a while.  If this poll is accurate, it would appear heresy is far more rampant than most realized. It would also appear that religious conviction is expected to adhere to public opinion, which was predicted.  

"For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear".  2 Timothy 4:3

Does this imply they don't believe the hand of God is behind the Bible?  If that is the case, and it appears that it is, what hope is there to get people to honor a manmade document such as the U.S. Constitution?

Believers are taught to believe the Bible was inspired by God.  You know, the one believers are supposed to be worshiping. Yet, thousands of years of Biblical writings and teaching are being ignored or twisted by those who claim to believe. If that is the case, and it appears that it is, then one would suppose there are a great many "believers" who think God lies, or he has no idea what he's talking about, or that the writings are solely the works of men, or at the very least, question even if he exists.  All that makes the Bible of no more worth than the insane ramblings of Karl Marx.   If that's so, and it appears it is, then they simply ignore the Biblical teachings and replace them with which ever philosophical flavor of the day comes down the pike. 

Truth exists, whether we like it or not. We don’t create truth; we find it, and we have no power to change it to our tastes. The truth may not make us comfortable, but it does make us free. How could such a thing happen in a nation known for its Christian religious foundation? This has happened slowly over a course of decades. This came about because the Bible, and the surrounding history and commentaries aren't taught in the churches, and neither is it done at home. All of which was done regularly in the past. Thousands of years of Biblical writings and teaching are being ignored or twisted.  

Public and higher education has been instrumental in undermining those traditional and foundational values that made the American culture possible.   Was the American culture ever perfect?  No, but with all our faults, still the greatest culture the world has ever known, bringing more people out of misery and suffering than any other in all of human history.  America never offered perfection.  What America offered the most acceptable imperfection.

Sir Roger Scruton once noted:

A writer who says there are no truths, or that all truth is merely relative, is asking you not to believe him.  So don't.   So then why is society choosing to believe those who shouldn't be believed, and ignoring those who need to be believed?   

Now we come to the finest secular document ever conceived of by man, the U.S. Constitution, which isn't studied in the nation's schools, nor is it read privately, which is far more easily read and understood than the sixty six books of the Bible, yet few have read it, fewer understand it, and as a result, few realize what's been lost.  

That leaves one to believe the Constitution, the second primary foundation to justify the American system, has little value to the average citizen because the history behind it is being twisted or ignored. Once again; the Bible and the U.S. Constitution are foundational to the American story and the basis for American exceptionalism.  If either one is discarded the great American experiment is finished.  

John Adams said, “Our constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.” Morality and virtue are the foundation of our republic and necessary for a society to be free.

“Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.” Matt. 7:26  

Everyone, believer or non-believer, can surely see the wisdom in that parable. Everything has a historical foundation, and everything we are told should bear some resemblance to what we see going on in reality. But, it really is incumbent upon us to pay just a “tiny little bit of attention” to what is going on for that to have any meaning in our lives. And from talking to so many people I truly think believers and non-believers alike fear a storm is coming. 

There is one more point I would like for everyone to ponder for a while. If one claims to be a believer and yet supports views that are antithetical to their belief system it's called heresy. 

If one claims to be an American yet works to undermine the U.S. Constitution, what exactly is that called? We used to call it treason.   

Final thought.

While Sir Roger Scruton was English, his comments strike deeply into the heart of all these destructive current events, not only in England, but in America and the entirety of Western civilization.

Will you stand by the gnarled oak of Englishness or will you bring on the bulldozers of soulless modernity?  Can you appreciate beauty or are you an enraged devotee of contemporary art? Do you want wholesome food or tasteless, shrink-wrapped crap? Do you care about western civilization or would you be happy to see it demolished. Are you one of us, or one of them?"

Will Americans stand by the solid and stable foundation of the Constitution, or embrace insanity and destruction? That's the entirely of it all.

We Are All Charlie Kirk…Until We’re Not

Millions of people throughout the world prayed during the day-long September 21 Charlie Kirk memorial. The event celebrated a young man who had fulfilled a dream of reaching out to our youth and teaching them the importance of faith, family, and country. A teenager who started with pennies in his pockets and immense energy, Kirk achieved his dream before his 31st birthday. (Charlie’s birthday is October 14.)

His assassination brought most decent people throughout the world to tears.

In his honor and memory, we vowed to become an avalanche of Charlie Kirks. “We are all Charlie Kirk!” is our mantra as we verbally battle a bitter and angry army of young Americans who have been indoctrinated in Marxist public schools. A generation that has been taught they can change their gender by teachers who mumble whatever insanity Randi Weingarten espouses to Rachel Maddow or the gals on The View.

Martyred in death, millions of high school and college students are now joining or starting a Turning Point club. There have been more than 120,000 requests to start a club. Older people will mentor or donate.

My worry is that this stratospheric energy and enthusiasm might evaporate since Americans have very short memories. Three recent examples:

One. In the weeks and months following the September 11, 2001, Muslim attack on the United States, the world chimed, “We are all Americans!”

If you had told Americans following the 9/11 attack that in less than a decade the nation would elect Barack Hussein Obama, a man with a very sketchy religious, educational, and political background, they would have thought you had lost your mind. Yet, by 2008, anyone making reasonable inquiries about Obama’s questionable life story (much of it sealed) was called racist.

In November 2008, the nation elected and then four years later re-elected Barack Hussein Obama. So much for “We are all Americans!” on September 11, 2001.

Two. The 9/11 devastation occurred in three places: New York City, the Pentagon in D.C., and a Pennsylvania field. Manhattan, with its fallen World Trade Center Twin Towers and the most deaths, was the epicenter. If you had told New Yorkers in the weeks and months following 9/11 that, in less than 25 years, Big Apple voters might elect a communist Muslim as their mayor, you would have been placed in a padded room. But here we are, looking at a strong possibility that a communist Muslim with little to no business experience will soon run America’s most important city.

So much for “We are all New Yorkers!” said 24 years earlier.

Three. In the days and weeks following Hamas’s brutal October 7, 2023, massacre of 1,400 innocent Israeli civilians, the world reacted with “We are all Israelis!” (Of the 250 kidnapped, there are about 50 hostages—dead or alive—remain in captivity.) There was near-universal condemnation of Hamas for brutally murdering, raping, torturing, and kidnapping innocent people. Israel’s beautiful blue and white flag was flown and illuminated across all corners of the globe, including the Brandenburg Gate in Germany, the Eiffel Tower in France, the famed Sydney Opera House in Australia, and 10 Downing Street in Britain.

Yet, less than two years later, many of those nations that immediately condemned Hamas and proclaimed “We are all Israelis!” are now rewarding Hamas by demanding a suicidal two-state solution. (“Solution” as in the Nazi’s “Solution to the Jewish Problem.”)

Hamas (and other aligned terrorist organizations) do not want peace with Israel. They want the entire piece of Israel. There can be no “two states” when one wants the other gone.

With Europe’s bulging Muslim populations, several European nations should carve out land and say (in Arabic), “Here is your state, as you are already taking over our nation.”

How long before Europe is called Little Arabia? According to Pew Research, between 2010 and 2020, the share of the European population that is Christian dropped by 67 percent.

Christians - 8.8%

Muslims +15.9%

How long before America is called Little Arabia? Vince Coyner wrote about this at American Thinker:

In 2001, the year of 9/11, there were 1.5 million Muslims in America. Today, there are four million, an increase of 150%, eight times what the population at large grew. In Europe, over the same period, the number of Muslims has gone from 15 million to more than 45 million, essentially tripling. This, while Christianity declined from 78% to 63% of the population in the US and dropped by both a percentage of the population and absolute numbers in Europe.

So much for “We are all Israelis!” shouted on October 7, 2023.

There are other examples of how quickly Americans forget history, even history that they have lived through.

Many will say that Charlie Kirk’s assassination is different from these other events. I pray they are right as the organization promotes building a generation of Americans who value faith, family, and country. That is the nation our Founding Fathers desired when they risked life and fortune to create the United States of America.

But I worry today’s enthusiasm might be forgotten in the coming months or years, so please prove me wrong.

Europe is Lost, Is America Next?

WWI created the greatest historical/social/cultural transformation in history. From that point on the western world began to abandon the Judaic/Christian values and principles that created Europe, and the churches were just as responsible as Europe’s leaders. As time went by it all morphed into believing in nothing/anything/everything, which metastasized into what were seeing unfolding in all of western civilization, with Victor Davis Hanson's article laying historical and intellectual foundation for how and why Europe is doomed using Germany as the example.  

We’re watching western leftists embrace Islam, including homosexuals, all of whom subscribe to everything Islam abhors.  How can they be so clueless as to not recognize that if Muslims took control and imposed Sharia they would be among the first executed?   Islam hates the things they promote such as women's rights, homosexuality and transgenderism.  There would be no freedom of speech, no freedom of religion, including atheism, no freedom to publicly protest anything Islamists imposed on society. 

Iran’s leadership in the past gathered up 30,000 people who opposed them and murdered them, and that's not just a modern expression of Islam, that's almost 1500 years of Islamic history, and the left insists any negative comments about Islam is Islamophobia,

America is in Crisis.  The dangerous reality of Islam in America isn't a phobia.  A phobia is an intense irrational fear of an "object, situation, activity, which causes irrational distress".  Fear of Islam isn't a phobia, it's a reality, and it's a reality that's history based, a history that's incontestable.

New York:  

Hamas’s Man in New York: Zohran Mamdani, The Holy Land Five, and the Marxist-Islamic Threat to America -  Support for the Holy Land Five, rooted in Islamic and Marxist ideologies, raises alarms about national security and prompts calls for denaturalization of non-citizens who endorse these terrorist financiers. The “Holy Land Five”, a reference to five men convicted of financing the Muslim terrorist group Hamas in 2008, has become a cause célèbre for militant Islamic and Marxist activists, including Zohran Mamdani, the “democrat” nominee for mayor of New York City.

Defenders of the Holy Land Five epitomize the Red/Green Axis, a convergence of Marxism and Islam. The Holy Land Five activists rewrite history, claiming that the Holy Land Foundation was simply a charitable organization, but that is a lie. In fact, the 2008 trial resulted in guilty verdicts on all 108 counts, with sentences ranging from 15 to 65 years, upheld on appeal in 2011. The defendants underwent due process, including legal representation, a public trial, and appeals.

A former aspiring rapper, Zohran Mamdani’s anti-American 2017 song “Salaam” weaponizes the fabricated narrative of Islamophobia to glorify convicted Hamas financiers, rapping, “My love to the Holy Land Five. You better look ’em up,” and calling them “my guys.”........

The world is facing a globalized intifada, and the left is working overtime to normalize their violent behavior, especially against Jews, and on American soil.  The attack against those two young Israelis who were about to become engaged and gunned down in Washington DC, and the attack by Mohamad Sabry Soliman using a flamethrower and Molotov cocktails against peaceful and unarmed supporters of Israel is just a symptom of the infection of Islam in America.  Is this leading up to an October 7th style event here in America?  If they thought they could get away with it, they would do it, but this isn't Israel, and here they're facing Donald Trump, not Obama, Joe Biden and fortunately, not Kamala Harris.  

Terrorists Organizations: The Muslim Brotherhood and CAIR

Look who is running for elected office!

Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who has been doing an outstanding job, says the State Department is looking into designating the Muslim Brotherhood, and perhaps also the Council on American- Islamic Relations (CAIR), as terrorist organizations. It must be done correctly as Rubio explained:

“...obviously, there are different branches of the Muslim Brotherhood, so you’d have to designate each one of them.” 

 

Retired Diplomat James Horn, who served in Moslem countries for a dozen years as a counterintelligence officer and both knows and understands Islam well, told Patriot Neighbors:

“The Moslem Brotherhood with hundreds of lawyers strewn through- out CAIR and its subordinate entities has likely further morphed itself into a number of entities with different names with the same modus operandi. As the CAPO organization of the myriad Islamic organizations, the Muslim Brotherhood has capitalized on using American federal, state, and local laws to create a bewildering hydra headed maze of intertwined organizations that cannot be neutralized without blanket legislation that must identify each one of them. We are in a hole of our own making. Our only way out is to exile or otherwise neutralize each and every Muslim Brotherhood member regardless of citizenship.”

It will get to the point soon that the United States will be fully infiltrated. If your police officers, teachers, politicians, judges, etc. are Muslims, there will be no one to appeal to when shariah is implemented. 

Not a comment from the Trump administration, not even on EPIC. EPIC is the East Plano Islamic Center, or EPIC Masjid (mosque), which offered Muslim-only housing. It caused a lot of controversy in North Texas and has now claimed that it has ended that requirement. I believe they are just waiting for the right time to reveal their plans. 

It’s all fine and good to designate the Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist organization but that’s just window dressing if there’s no action.”

With the immense focus on communist Muslim Zohran Mamdani since he is New York City’s Democrat mayoral candidate, it is interesting to note the city has:

• More than 275 mosques across the city’s five boroughs.
• Eid holidays are official in New York City public schools.

I've been reading The March of Folly by Barbara W. Tuchman published in 1984, and it's just as relevant today as it was then.  Why?  Because she asks why do leaders make decisions that are so obviously destructive to their own societies, both secular and religious, and the history she outlines gives you the answer.  Truth be told, as you read the things that went on in Europe's religious communities over the centuries you have to wonder how Europe remained Christian as long as it did.

Islam isn't a religion, it's a political criminal movement masquerading as a religion, and it isn't just about sex, it's about every criminal activity known to man that's not only excused by Islam, it's encouraged.

When Sultan Mehmed II was trying to conquer Constantinople things weren't going so well, and he turned that around by offering his troops everything in the city, all the wealth they could find, and everyone in the city, including nuns who were raped, enslaved, and dragged naked through the city. The only thing he would keep for himself was the city itself.

That turned the tables. No matter what's written, the foundational principles of Islam are greed, envy, hate, lust, and violence. That's why they get along with socialists, shared values.

Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer has reaffirmed the government’s commitment to protect victims of child sexual abuse and warned it won’t tolerate discussions on the issue that are based on lies. His remarks follow an ongoing exchange between UK politicians and tech billionaire Elon Musk, who is set to act as an adviser to the upcoming Trump presidency. Musk has claimed that Starmer had failed to bring “rape gangs” to justice when he was director of public prosecutions. He also suggested that safeguarding minister Jess Phillips “deserves to be in prison” after she denied requests for a public inquiry in Oldham......

Elon Musk Calls for Long-Overdue National Inquiry in UK on Rape Gang Scandal - In a series of posts on X, Elon Musk has been calling attention to a years-long scandal in Britain that was hushed up for years and is still receiving insufficient attention from British authorities: the phenomenon of rape gangs. These gangs have victimized tens of thousands of British girls, and quite likely many more than that. Yet for decades, authorities have been slow to altogether inactive in moving against them, and have occasionally even punished their victims and rewarded the perpetrators. The reason for this lies in the perpetrators’ identity and motivating ideology, which few dare to face.

This is the suicide of cultures that are mired in leftism, and who's fault is it these immigrant monsters are murdering innocent people in America?    According to the CEO at AllState tells us it's Americans who are at fault, because we're addicted to decisiveness.  And his solution is what? He pontificates:

 

We also need to be stronger together by overcoming an addiction to divisiveness and negativity. Join Allstate working in local communities all across America to amplify the positive, increase trust and accept people’s imperfections and differences. Together we win.

Wow, does that sound great?  There's a problem with that though.  It's stupid.  The positive that needs to be amplified are the traditional Judaic/Christian values that made America great, and the left has been fighting that for almost 150 years in America, tooth and nail, and violently.  This divisiveness isn't an addiction, it's self defense against a philosophy of national suicide.  

A recent article by Patricia McCarthy she partially quoted Cicero, but here's the full quote:

 "A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear. The traitor is the plague." -  Marcus Tullius Cicero 

Only Cicero never said that.  While I've used this quote in some of my articles, there's no evidence Cicero ever said that.  It originates from a  1965 novel A Pillar of Iron by Taylor Caldwell, but so what?   Does it really matter who said it?  The thoughts are valid nonetheless, and most certainly apply to what we've been seeing going on in America since the late 19th century, and when Stalin started sending his spies to America in 1920 ultimately filling the FDR administration with so many agents it became known as the most infiltrated government in the history of the world.  

It's a good quote that needs to be used more often, with a caveat, because it defines who's destroying Western Civilization.  It's leaders, both religious and secular.  I'll have more on this soon.

Culture is King

On November 17, 2024 Deborah C. Tyler published this piece, The Incurable TDS, saying with some outstanding verbiage:

We are living through an astonishing time in our nation’s political history.  Somewhat more than half of Americans see President Trump as a leader of courage, energy, and commitment with a proven record of promoting peace and strengthening both the U.S. economy and the southern border against an illegal invasion, whereas the other half sees only personal evil in Trump and describes him with adolescent hyperbole, habitually comparing him to Adolf Hitler.  That half is not able to thoughtfully assess Trump’s policies, or even its own economic or political interests.  

Instead, these people cling to a sense of moral superiority and are obsessed with the imputed personal sins of a man they despise...... this is not a free-standing mental disorder.  Rather, it is a delusional symptom cluster at the terminal stage of a sixty-year vast, progressively insane attempt by the left wing, especially the cultural, educational and political elites, to entrain the American people to despise their nation, their laws, and themselves in order to break their self-respect and mentally enslave them to government control.  Few people can stand against the indoctrination and brainwashing that they have been exposed to all their lives.......[Trump was] the man who challenged their beliefs..... I thought her use of the word entrain was a mistake but it means to put aboard a train, and that's what the left has been doing in America for almost 150 years, and they started by capturing public education.  After reading the article and then the comments I think it worthwhile to explain leftist/socialism in America didn't start out as an openly Marxist movement.

Socialism is foundationally atheistic, and in the late 19th and early 20th centuries that didn't fly in America, so they called themselves "progressives", and the driving force behind that was religion, what's now called the "progressive gospel", in effect claiming socialism was the practical application of the Christian ethic. 

They use our own values against us. Now everyone was to be everyone's bother and were responsible for each other and morally obligated to ___________fill in the blank, all of which would entail massive amounts of money confiscated from the American public and spent as they saw fit in order to expand government control over Americans lives.  Hence their need for the 16th Amendment, income tax, and the 17th Amendment ending how Senators were chosen by the states as de facto ambassadors to the central government, effectually overturning the 10th Amendment, the states rights amendment. With passage of the 17th Amendment, for all practical purposes, states rights ended. And finally the creation of the FED to take control of the currency out of the hands of Congress.  All done in 1913. 

After WWII the real powers behind this movement didn't need religion any longer and kicked them to the curb, and then the driving force was psychology. If you disagreed with what they were promoting, you were not only morally inadequate, you were insane, which is the same clabber they're promoting now.

So after almost 150 years of religious and social corruption condemning western civilization's moral and mental foundations it's a wonder we're now finally coming out of that miasma, and truth is coming to the fore.

Truth is the sublime convergence of history and reality. Everything we're told has a historical foundation and context, and everything we're told should bear some resemblance to what we see going on in reality. If it doesn't, it's wrong, and all that's left to do is develop the intellectual response to explain why it's wrong. And that's what's finally happening as a result of the internet and the rise of the alternative media.  

Having the truth exposed is why the Democrat party is in a downward swirl of failure, academia is being seriously challenged, which will become more pronounced in the coming years, heretical religious leaders are being openly questioned and abandoned, Europe's socialist governments are broke and collapsing, and the Pravda media is and swirling down the drain.

What does the future hold? Let's turn back the clock to the end of a year over a century ago.

(Posting this article has become an annual tradition ever since the grim end of 2012. It's a reminder that the end of each year ushers in unknowns, but also opportunities for heroism. History does not stand still, and we should never assume that we know how it will come out.

The next year  sweeps around the earth like the hand of a clock, from Australia to Europe and across the great stretch of the Atlantic it rides the darkness to America. And then around and around again, each passing day marking another sweep of the hours.

While the year makes its first pass around the world, even if it doesn't feel like there is much to celebrate, let us leave it behind, open a door in time and step back to another year, a century past.

December 31, 1912.

The crowds are large, the men wear hats, and the word 'gay' means happy. Liquor is harder to come by because the end of the year has fallen on a Sunday. 

There are more dances and fewer corporate brands. Horns are blown, and the occasional revolver fired into the air, a sight unimaginable in the controlled celebrations of today's urban metropolis.

The Hotel Workers Union strike fizzled out on Broadway though a volley of bricks was hurled at the Hotel Astor during the celebrations. New York's Finest spent the evening outside the Rockefeller mansion waiting to subpoena the tycoon in the money trust investigation. And the Postmaster General inaugurated the new parcel service by shipping a silver loving cup from Washington to New York.

On Ellis Island, Castro, a bitter enemy of the United States, and the former president of Venezuela, had been arrested for trying to sneak into the country while the customs officers had their guard down. Gazing at the Statue of Liberty, Castro denied that he was a revolutionary and bitterly urged the American masses to rise up and tear down the statue in the name of freedom.

Times Square has far fewer billboards and no videos, but it does have the giant Horn and Hardart Automat which opened just that year, where food comes from banks of vending machines giving celebrating crowds a view of the amazing world of tomorrow for the world of 1912 is after all like our own. 

We can open a door into the past, but we cannot escape the present.

The Presidential election of 1912 ended in disaster. Both Taft and Roosevelt lost and Woodrow Wilson won. In the White House, President Taft met with cabinet members and diplomats for a final reception.

Woodrow Wilson, who would lead America into a bloody and senseless war, subvert its Constitution, and begin the process of making global government and statism into the national religion of his party, was optimistic about the new year. "Thirteen is my lucky number," he said. "It is curious how the number 13 has figured in my life and never with bad fortune." 

In Indianapolis, the train carrying union leaders guilty of the dynamite plot was making its secret way to Federal prison even while the lawyers of the dynamiters vowed to appeal.

The passing year, a century past, had its distinct echoes in our own time. There had been, what the men of the time, thought of as wars, yet they could not even conceive of the wars shortly to come. There were the usual dry news items about the collapse of the government in Spain, a war and an economic crisis in distant parts of the world that did not concern them. The Federal Reserve Act would be signed at the end of 1913, partly in response to the economic crisis. 

Socialism was on the march with the Socialist Party having doubled its votes in the national election.  All three major candidates, Wilson, Roosevelt and Taft, had warned that the country was drifting toward Socialism and that they were the only ones who could stop it. 

"Unless Socialism is checked," Professor Albert Bushnell Hart warned, "within sixteen years there will be a Socialist President of the United States."

Hart was off by four years. Hoover won in 1928. FDR won in 1932. 

At New York City's May Day rally, the American flag was torn down and replaced with the red flag, to cries of, "Take down that dirty rag" and "We don't recognize that flag."

The site of the rally was Union Square, one of the locations where Black Lives Matter hangs out, taking over from Occupy Wall Street and generations of radicals.

There was tension on the Mexican border and alarm over Socialist successes in German elections. An obscure fellow with the silly name of Lenin had carved out a group with the even sillier name of the Bolsheviks. China became a Republic. New Mexico became a state, the African National Congress was founded and the Titanic sank.  

There was bloody fighting in Benghazi where 20,000 Italian troops faced off against 20,000 Arabs and 8,000 Turks. The Italians had modern warships and armored vehicles, while the Muslim forces were supplied by voluntary donations and fighters crossing from Egypt and across North Africa to join in attacking the infidels.

The Italian-Turkish war has since been forgotten, except by the Italians, the Libyans and the Turks, but it featured the first strategic use of airships, ushering in a century of European aerial warfare. 

There was a good deal going on while the horns were blown and men in heavy coats and wet hats made their way through the festivities.

World War I was two years away, but the Balkan War had already fired the first shots. The rest was just a matter of bringing the non-phosphorus matches closer to the kindling. The Anti-Saloon League was gathering strength for a nationwide effort that would hijack the political system and divide it into dry and wet, and, among other things, ram through the personal income tax.

Change was coming, and as in 1912, the country was no longer hopeful, it was wary.

The century, for all its expected glamor, had been a difficult one. The future, political and economic, was unknown. Few knew exactly what was to come, but equally few were especially optimistic even when the champagne was flowing.

If we were to stop a reveler staggering out of a hotel, stand in his path and tell him that war was five years away and a great depression would come in on its tail, that liquor would be banned, crime would proliferate and a Socialist president would rule the United States for three terms, while wielding near absolute power, he might have decided to make his way to the recently constructed Manhattan Bridge for a swan dive into the river.

And yet we know that though all this is true, there is a deeper truth. For all those setbacks, the United States survived, and many of us look nostalgically toward a time that was every bit as uncertain and nerve-wracking as our own.

December 31, 1912 was a door that opened onto many things.

Our December 31 is likewise a door, and if a man in shiny clothes from the year 2120 were to stop us on the street and spill out everything he knew about the next century, it is likely that there would be as much greatness as tragedy in that tale.

As the year sweeps across the earth, let us remember that history is more than the worst of its events, that all times bear the burden of their uncertainties, but also carry within them the seeds of greatness. Looking back on this time, it may be that it is not the defeats that we will recall, but how they readied us for the fight ahead. 

America has not fallen, no more than it did when the clock struck midnight on December 31, 1912. Though it may not seem likely now, there are many great things ahead, and though the challenges at times seem insurmountable and the defeats many, another year and another century await us.

Culture is King! Even When the Culture is Insane!

For days I've read unending diatribes as to why Kamala lost the election, with a lot of excuses, and a lot of finger pointing.  I was Biden's fault because he didn't drop out soon enough, or even chose to run in the first place. It was George Clooney's  fault because....well.... I'm not quite sure why he was blamed, but the excuses, accusations, and finger pointing didn't end there. 

On Monday J.B. Shurk published this article, No Wake for the Woke saying:

Democrats will learn nothing from their electoral drubbing.  If they were capable of self-reflection and intellectual growth, they would not need “safe spaces” or social media platforms dedicated to mass censorship.  When you are so afraid of dissent that you feel psychologically compelled to label all contrary opinions as “hate speech,” you are not a fully functioning adult willing to process new information and adapt accordingly.... Democrat operatives tell their dwindling viewing audience that they lost the election because of “disinformation,” racism, and misogyny.  Americans are just too “stupid” and “deplorable” to be trusted with the vote.  The country is a MAGA junkyard filled with “garbage” human beings.  

And they think that was the perfect campaign?   The author goes on to say:

If anyone is to blame for her loss, the formaldehyde femmes explain, it is the news media.  “Journalists” should have used all their airtime reminding Americans that President Trump is “literally Hitler.”  You see, America, Democrats didn’t lose because they’re stark raving mad!  They lost because of bad “messaging”! 

Actually, the unending vilification of Trump was pretty much what the media did, .  But they just don't get it, and as strange as it seems, they seem to actually believe all the clabber they spew out.  Not only that, they're going to double down with what they believe is their '“winning” policy agenda!"

More illegal immigration, less crime control, more expensive energy, less drilling for oil, more spending and borrowing, more inflation, more DEI, more gender bending, a further diminished and capable military, more violations of constitutional rights by the DOJ, FBI, less secure retirement funding, and always remembering, .....censorship is free speech.  

So now what are we seeing from these people?

• The U.S. State Department decided to fund “therapy and listening sessions” for heartbroken employees (so much for the notion that our spies and diplomats are made of sterner stuff).  
• Stephen Colbert and other overpaid late-night “comedians” have turned their shows into group counseling services for damaged Democrats unable to accept Kamala Harris’s loss.  
• Meathead Rob Reiner, who confidently predicted Kamala’s victory on Election Day, is so distraught that he has checked himself into a mental health facility.  
• News organizations are so distressed over their loss of influence that overrated “journalists” take turns screaming at the public for having rejected their pro-Harris talking points.  
• Joy Reid and other mentally unstable hosts on MSNBC are warning Democrats to cut off communications with their Trump-supporting relatives.   
• Democrat teachers owing list of post-election incidents that includes terrorizing students
•  Democrat doctors threatening patients, 
• Democrat psychiatrists conspiring to harm Trump voters, Democrats working to bankrupt Trump-supporting businesses, 
• Democrats divorcing their Trump-voting spouses, 
• Democrats threatening or committing acts of violence against MAGA Americans.
  

He concludes his article by saying:

This much is certain: people this psychologically unstable are not survivors.  They cannot endure conflict.  Hell, they can’t even endure intellectual debate.  They need censorship and “safe spaces” to avoid melting into an emotional puddle.  Democrats will not control the future because they can barely control themselves. 

Hollywood is filled with people living in a hermetically sealed bug house.

DeNiro and other once-favored celebs are in serious need of psychological counseling, only the counselors are probably as troubled as they.  Dick Van Dyke would rather die than suffer another four years with Trump as President.  In years gone by he acknowledged he had, and possibly still has, a serious drinking problem.  It appears it's true, overindulgence in alcohol destroys brain cells. 

There are two characters I really want to highlight, I should say two nitwits, the Meathead, and Ellen DeGeneres.   Eric Utter posted this article, Meathead Wrestles With TDS quoting the self important Reiner:

“I have big decisions to make. For the good of myself, my family, and my country.”......“Ellen DeGeneres whom I have known a long time and is a beautiful and caring woman had the right idea. She obviously does not want to be a part of a place that is filled with hate, evil and fascism. Much respect to her for standing up to madness.”.....I have made the decision to take the next few days to check into a facility for peace and relaxation. No phones, social media, no trolls, just calmness to heal my pain.”

He's checking himself into a facility?  Sounds more like a mental institution filled with psychologically challenged people (Reiner's normal environment) surrounded by people in white coats administering emotion calming drugs.  To me this sounds more like all those around him did an intervention letting him know he sounds like he's losing his mind, as little as there may be there. 

Then there's Ellen DeGeneres who says she can't stand living in such a hateful fascist America under Trump any longer.  So, now they're living in England, a nation that will tax that 400 million she's worth massively.  Which is a good thing since a record number of millionaires are all set to flee Britain over looming labour tax raids.  And if she's under the impression she can shoot off her mouth there as she does here, then she's in for a visit from Britain's Thought Police.  Then of course there's this very real potential:

".....become victims of England’s burgeoning Muslim male extremist population which is sexually assaulting and stabbing women at an unprecedented rate. But doing so without hate, and in a non-evil and entirely antifascist way!"

Ya just gotta see the humor in that, but having said all that, I think Ellen should be congratulated and encouraged and get all of her celebrity friends to follow her.  And to really show us how seriously they all take this, they should all give up their American citizenship.

That'll fix us. 

Oh, I just had a thought.  Where will Ellen go next since Britain is getting ready to dump the recently.... very recently....... elected labour party, which stands for everything Ellen loves, when they elect a Trump of their own?

 

The Third Worldization of America

It is no coincidence that both of the Democratic Party’s ‘black’ presidential nominees were not black Americans, but the children of radical third world students who appropriated the rhetoric of the civil rights movement to get ahead, without having any actual history or part in it. 

Obama and Kamala are not the legacy of the slave trade, much as they have exploited that history, but the third world immigrants and students ushered in by the JFK administration.

Barack Obama Sr., Shyamala Gopalan and Donald Harris all arrived in America as foreign students within a few years of each other. They were part of a flood of foreign students brought to America by Cold War legislation meant to educate foreign elites in the United States.

Instead of ‘Americanizing’ the third world, Obama, Gopalan, Harris and thousands of others like them helped radicalize and ‘third worldize’ America. Many of the foreign students, like Kamala’s parents, never had any real intention of going home. Some stayed to radicalize American colleges and their American born children absorbed their politics and hostility to America.

The unprecedented open borders implemented by putatively black politicians like Obama and Kamala harmed the black community, but served the interests of the third world. Their support for Islamic terrorism, hostility to national security and obsession with international politics in obscure parts of the world were a sharp break from traditional black politics.

Filling entire neighborhoods with mobs of foreign migrants is not a ‘black’ policy, and black community members have been some of its most vocal opponents, but it is a third world policy.

Open borders is more than a theory for second generation third worlders who did not come here centuries ago on slave ships, but who are only here because of cracks in our immigration policies. Obama and Kamala know that they are only here for one reason and they see ‘their people’ as being not inside the border, but outside of it and waiting eagerly to come on in.

Third worlders also see American power in radically different terms than African-Americans do. To African-Americans, even if they disagree with the country or its politics, American power is their power, whereas to third worlders, American power is that of their sworn enemies.

The foreign students to whom the JFK administration opened the door were not waiting to learn about America, rather they were often Marxists who were already aligned with the Soviet Union. The third world was the Soviet tool for building an anti-American front and third worlders like Obama and Kamala innately view any third world power, including Iran and China, as members of the front to roll back the hateful destructive force that to them is the United States of America.

They were raised on the need to ‘decolonize’ America and that’s what they are doing.

Third worlders see America not as a country, but a ‘colony’ of white Europeans occupying ‘indigenous’ land whose institutions, power and history need to be dismantled from within. Allied with domestic leftist groups, they embarked on a project to destroy our ‘founding stories’, eliminate our exceptionalism, hijack our culture and take apart our national greatness.

This is not simply leftism. Had socialists taken over America in the 1920s, as they originally set out to do, they would have maintained it as a world power. But third worlders are not out to take over America, but to destroy it: taking it over is only a means of accelerating its destruction.

Third worlders believe that American political and corporate power are the cause of the world’s problems because they are not simply leftists, but nationalists of their own countries and cultures. They disguise this fact because it would alienate the electorate to say it plainly.

The mass migration of third worlders is the fulfillment of their program for ending America.

Third world mass migration is designed to fragment America and to replicate the third world’s disorders here. The disparate third world colonies are then used to build alliances to bring down America. The United States becomes a United Nations of feuding groups whose only common enemy is the country that hosts them. That is the ‘third worldization’ of America.

And it’s already well underway.

Third worlders are not globalists: they are passionate nationalists and tribalists. Rep. Ilhan Omar does not envision a borderless world. In speeches to Somali audiences, she expresses her passionate support for defending Somalia’s borders and combating Somaliland. Rep. Rashida Tlaib yearns for the destruction of Israel and for replacing it with a ‘Palestinian’ state. Rep. Pramila Jayapal aids Rahul Gandhi and the Congress Party in its attempts to take over India.

American and European leftists can be globalists, but third worlders rarely are. Obama lectured Americans on tribalism even while working to have his Muslim cousin and clan take over Kenya.

Globalist liberals and leftists enable third worlders to impose their own agendas on Americans. World government, open borders and all the other fetishes of globalists have become one-way street equity programs. Westerns are expected to accept open borders, but no third world country will ever accept the loss of control over its borders.

Westerns are to be governed by international bodies dominated by third worlders, but no third world country will ever accept world government except at gunpoint. And usually not even then.

America is losing its wealth, its power and its independence to third world governance.

Globalists sell this as a means of empowering the poor of the world, but the third worlders who rule us at home and abroad are not the ‘wretched of the earth’, but foreign elites.

Aside from the Latin Americans streaming across the border, our third world invaders from the rest of the world are not poor, like Obama and Kamala’s parents, they’re foreign elites with the money and family ties to come here and play off the sympathies of gullible globalist liberals.

The only exercise in equity taking place is a transfer of power from American elites to foreign elites, from the descendants of those who came here on the Mayflower to the descendants of third world elites brought here by JFK to study at our finest universities and unlearn Marxism.

But instead of unlearning Marxism, they, like Kamala’s father, instead began teaching it to us.

America is becoming a third world mess because we are being run by the very same foreign elites who run the third world, who know nothing except a shoddy secondhand Marxism and who are animated by petty tribalism and ancient resentments of British and American rule.

The ‘third worldization’ of America and Europe are not destiny, but a choice. Unlike Britain, we’re not even being flooded by our colonials, but by former British colonials who hate us anyway. If we don’t want to end up like the third world, it’s time for us to stop being ruled by the third world.

America's Most Seminal Years

First, many of the years before the 20th century were pivotal for the nation, especially the Civil War period and right after, because they were the foundational formative years creating a brand new nation that was unmistakably a grand republican experiment, with all the warts that go along with that.  Not a democracy, a republic.  Nothing like it ever occurred in human history before or since.  Not the Roman Republic, nor Greek Democracy, nor any other government.  American government was created from the bottom up, by the people, and for the people, so, rightly or wrongly, I'm bypassing those years and sticking to everything after the 19th century. 

If you ask people what year in American history was the most seminal in the 20th century you'll probably get a blank stare, and if they're college students there's no telling what kind of insanity they'll offer.  But some will choose dates that are meaningful, and most will get it wrong.  The correct answer is 1913!  Why?

In 1913 the federal government passed the 16th Amendment, income tax, the 17th Amendment, changing how Senators were chosen, and they created the FED.  Those actions are foundational to all the crises we're facing right now.   

The 16th Amendment created a system of legal extortion, and abuse by a thuggish out of control IRS, both of which grew massively over the years, and negatively impacting the nation's economy, and the 17th Amendment changed how senators were chosen.  Senators were supposed to be de facto ambassadors from the states to the central government representing the interests of their states, not the people, that was the job of the House of Representatives, which is why all tax bills must originate in the House.  The founders wanted Senators to be chosen by the state's governments to keep the central government from getting out of control, and we now see the consequences of both those Amendments.  

Both need repealed, and neither will be.  That leaves the FED which was created in 1913, and turned over to an unelected body control of the nation's economy.  Alexander W. Salter in his article, Why Fed Reform Could Be the Biggest Sleeper Issue of 2024 states:

The Fed’s institutional flaws and failures trashed its credibility. It’s time to rein in the central bank.

Quoting Joseph Sternberg he states:

“The next president will inherit a Federal Reserve staffed by economists — and their intellectual helpmates in academia — who still don’t fully understand what has happened over the past few years, let alone over the past few decades”...........

Salter goes on to say:

The Fed is a flawed institution at best, and a failed institution at worst. Sternberg suggests several reforms. While potentially helpful, none go far enough...........Sternberg laments Fed decision-makers’ “groupthink,” explained in part by the concentration of authority in the “Washington-based Board of Governors in thrall to the central bank’s research department.” The “Fed’s independence from the rest of the government” amplifies its irresponsibility. .... It “means politicians and voters can’t enforce accountability.” In other words, it’s a judge in its own cause. That’s unacceptable for anyone who cares about the rule of law.

Just like the IRS, out of control, and powers unto themselves.   

He then goes on to make suggestions for reform.  How about abolishment?  Also I don't agree with him on this issue of tariffs, and while tariffs can impact prices, they can also impact how governments act, like China.  And that's a part of the package all these economist refuse to understand.  One more thing.  If tariffs are so bad, then why do all these nations who decry American tariffs have them?  I'll tell you what, we'll come back to that.

Then came 1916, and Woodrow Wilson, America's first fascist President, was re-elected, a President who, just like Teddy Roosevelt, believed the Constitution was and impediment to human progress and became America's first fascist President "revolutionizing the way the federal government works creating the foundation for the modern administrative state."  We'll come back to that also. 

The next seminal year was 1928.  

Calvin Coolidge became President after Harding died.  He finished Harding's term and ran for his own in 1924.  Coolidge hated being President and refused to run in 1928 for his second term, and Hoover, who Coolidge thought was an idiot, was elected and whose failures led to FDR, the , and a massive expansion of Wilson's administrative state FDR called the New Deal, which wasn't new, nor was it a deal. 

Then Kennedy was elected via voter fraud in 1960, a failure as President, but who's assassination led to Johnson's Great Society programs which has been massively expensive and arguably a failure, all of which expanded government all the more.   This led to the 1968 election of Richard Nixon, who was one of the worst presidents to ever sit behind the Resolute Desk, with his passage of the The National Environmental Policy Act, the creation of the EPA, and a host of other abusive and economically suicidal regulations, but worst of all, was his opening China up to world trade, saving China from Mao's disastrous economy.  As a result China has thrived economically, and western civilization is now funding it's own demise. 

Everything else since then has been nothing more than variations of those themes, including Obama's election, until 2016 when Trump was elected, and he set things into motion that's rattled the entire political culture in America.  I'm not deliberately ignoring Reagan, but he was still facing a loyal opposition, Trump was, and is, facing a disloyal opposition called the Party of Treason, and 2024 may become the most seminal year of all in American history, and may be the end of America as we know it.

Do the American People want Communism?

 There are members of our current and past governments that deemed to be Socialists by declaration (such as Bernie Sanders) or by their actions (such as AOC, Harris, and Obama). The term “progressive” basically means Socialist. They dream and act to “fundamentally transform” our country. Whether they will succeed depends on who we elect this year as president. So, should American people keep the free-market economic system where “high tide lifts all boats” or should we become a Socialist nation? That is a fundamental question to be answered during this year elections.

But what is Socialism or Communism after all? Let us dig into it.

Socialism is a first stage of a socio-economic society development towards Communism, a complete and final “prosperity” socio-economic model for all humans. That is what Karl Marx and Vladimir Lenin promised in their speeches and books. All private enterprises to be expropriated by the state. All people work for the state and receive salaries determined by the state bureaucrats. The state owns means of production, meaning the factories, its machinery and other equipment are government property. The output of the production is retained and distributed by the state. The local and federal governments control the prices of all goods, regardless of the supply and demand.

From the beginning, the dictatorial and oppressive Bolshevik (Socialist) government of Russia has confiscated all guns from the citizens, and since they declared there was no God, the government closed all the churches and synagogues, except for a few in Moscow for foreign propaganda purposes.

Most people lived in the state apartments. Some families had to rent a room in one multi-room apartment with one kitchen and bathroom. No traveling abroad was allowed unless one is a part of the elite hierarchy, exceptional athlete or a famous ballet dancer or singer.

How about the cost of groceries? Let’s compare. In 1979, the loaf of bread in Russia cost 14 kopeks (cents). My engineering salary at that time there was 120 rubles (dollars) a month. So, the cost of bread was .116% of the monthly salary. In 1979, in the United States the loaf of bread was 20 cents, and my engineering monthly salary was $1,500. So, the cost of bread then was .013% of my monthly salary. It was almost 10 times cheaper than in Russia.

There was a shortage of everything under Socialism. Because all necessities, living places, medical care, quotas on university admissions were created and controlled by the state central planners, most of whom were members of the Communist party. There were no incentives to work hard and produce more. As the Soviet workers used to say: “We pretend to work, and they pretend to pay”. That is why the standard of living in Socialist counties was and is low.

But these described living conditions may be just fine for some people in America. However, for the most individuals, the practice indicates, the Socialist lifestyle would not be good enough. People want to have a better and more prosperous life for themselves and their families.

What about people of great wealth in America? Are they not worried that all their wealth will be taken away once the country turns Socialist? No, they are not. They think they are immune from any political and economic changes. These people have never studied Marxism and Leninism. Their wealth and property will be transferred to the state. This is how it was in Soviet Union/Russia, East Germany, it is in Cuba, North Korea and mostly in Venezuela. China has achieved economic success by allowing major corporations operate in a limited free market capitalist fashion. But the ultimate control is still held by the oppressive Communist government, that can remove the owner and/or change its development course. For example, in 2020, the Chinese government stopped plans for an IPO of the company Ant Group, a company that Daniel Zhang has founded, after he delivered a speech that criticized Chinese government financial regulators.

What about individuals who resist the oppression? They would be convicted of a “crime” against the state and be put in Gulags, prisons, and often eliminated.

So, I think the question in the title should not be difficult to answer now. Do the American people want communism?

A Few Random Thoughts

I’m writing this message near the end of October, 2024.  Just two weeks before the November election.  So much is happening every day now.  Some have asked, so I just want to let you all know that I absolutely doplan to put together a message on Hurricane Helene — and the destruction of Eastern Tennessee, and North Carolina in particular.  But just as I did a year ago when they burned down the town of Lahaina on Maui, I’m in the process of gathering information, doing research and double-checking sources before I put any sort of commentary together.  This is too important.  I need to get it right, and it’s going to take, very likely, several hundred hours of preparation before I begin writing.

 
I do want to say, however, for anyone in those areas able to hear or read this message, you have not been forgotten.  I would also very much like to speak with people who live in those areas, and we do have subscribers to our newspaper there, but I only have mailing addresses; it’s doubtful the mail is going through. I don’t have phone numbers, even if the phones were working.  So, if, by chance, someone in the path of the storm in North Carolina gets this message, please do get in touch with me.  I need to speak to you directly, as soon as possible.
 
I will make a few comments about Hurricane Helene here.  First, I found it most astonishing last week when I spoke with a man who follows the news quite closely but had heard absolutely nothing at all about this devastation in North Carolina.  So, while our disgusting excuse for a news media complex continues to force feed us lies about the upcoming election on a 24/7 basis, please remember those in peril, who have lost everything, including family members.  Please remember the cities, towns and communities that have been wiped off the map, and please remember the typical response from the Federal Government and FEMA — doing their utmost to make a horrific and miserable situation even worse, by hindering (and in some cases, arresting) American citizens who have come to help and rescue those in life and death situations, while they sit back and do nothing helpful.
 
And before I move on today, I’d like to mention something you may or may not have heard about. In North Carolina, outside one of the homes that was completely destroyed, a Bible was found among the debris, impaled on a post in the ground, and stuck open to Revelation 14 and 15.  
 
Let me just share with you a few words from Revelation 14: 

 “And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people; Saying with a loud voice, ‘Fear God, and give glory to Him; for the hour of His judgment is come: and worship Him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.’ And there followed another angel, saying, ‘Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.’  And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, ‘If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, the same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of His indignation.’”

 
I’d encourage you all to read the entirety of Revelation 14 and 15.  But understand, it’s no “coincidence,” that in the wake of this horrible devastation, a copy of God’s Word was found, impaled on a post, and stuck open to Revelation 14 and 15.  How much more clear must God Almighty speak to us all, and sound His warning before even His own people open their ears and eyes?
 
But today, here are some random thoughts, in no particular order, that I’ve found significant and which you may not be aware of.
 
First of all, did you know that another iconic symbol of our American history is about to be destroyed? I’m talking about the 1000-foot long SS United States.  The SS United States was launched in 1951 and holds a special place in maritime history. It still holds the transatlantic speed record and has a rich history of transporting presidents, celebrities, and immigrants. It could travel 10,000 miles without refueling.
 
Travelers on the SS United States enjoyed the finest services and accommodations, including a grand ballroom, first-class dining room, swimming pool, gymnasium, observation lounge, grand staircase and promenades.
 
This beautiful ship has been docked in Philadelphia since 1996.  Plans were presented multiple times to turn the ship into a museum or perhaps, like the Queen Mary, docked in California, a combination museum and very unique hotel.  But there was no funding available — and no grants from the federal government — so this symbol of American ingenuity and strength will be stripped and then sunk off the coast of Florida in a few months to serve as an artificial reef.  Quite symbolic, at this point in history — like the “ship” of our nation, the SS United States is destined for imminent destruction.
 
Also, I recently spoke with someone who’s been going door-to-door asking people in Wisconsin what their greatest concerns are regarding the state of our nation.  Those contacted were given five points to choose from: The Economy & Inflation; Border Security; Healthcare; Public Safety and Abortion.  Among those who are “undecided” as to how they’ll vote on November 5, the topic of abortion has been far ahead of all other concerns.  People are worried that a vote for Trump could possibly hinder the ability for people to conveniently kill their babies.  Of all the things we should be concerned about, most of those asked just want to be sure they can continue to access abortion.
 
Meanwhile, Kamala Harris recently held a rally in Wisconsin and while continuing to promise expanded abortion nationwide, two Christian students began shouting “Jesus is Lord,” and “Christ is King!”  They quickly found out how “inclusive” the Leftists really are, as Harris proceeded to mock and belittle the students and said, “Oh, you guys are at the wrong rally.  I think you meant to go to the smaller one down the street,” she laughed, as the students were forcefully removed.
 
The FBI has quietly revised violent crime data, now showing a surge instead of a reported decrease.  The agency has made no announcement on this or issued any press releases, and the change is only discoverable when downloading the new set of data from their website now and comparing it to the old.
 
And as illegals destroy neighborhoods across the USA and Venezuelan gangs have seized control of privately-owned apartment complexes — in Colorado and also now in Texas — I’ve been pondering the situation and Americans’ reaction to it all.  It seems to me, that Americans aren’t all that concerned about the illegal invasion itself.  In fact, hoping not to be considered “racist,” many go out of their way to tell reporters how they welcome the so-called “immigrants.”
 
But what finally hit me was the fact that it seems peoples’ biggest complaint is that they are not receiving the same benefits the illegals are.  “Where’s my free stuff?” they ask.  “Where’s my monthly check?” “Where’s myfree housing?” “Why don’t I get thousands of dollars every month like they do?”
 
So, here’s my observation: Americans are asking for the Federal Nanny State to take care of them.  Without even realizing it, they’re actually coveting bigger government and more dependence on the Feds...in short, they’re asking, often in desperation, for communism.
 
And as the November election nears, several states, including Alabama and Virginia are being sued by the DOJ for removing illegal voters from their rolls.  But, as one writer questioned, why aren’t more states doing the same?  Fifteen states require no ID at all to vote.  Eleven states require a non-photo ID, and many of those states that do require a photo ID are fine with only a driver’s license — but at least 24 states have “motor voter” laws — meaning people are automatically registered to vote when they get their driver’s license.  Many of these same states are issuing drivers licenses to illegals.  What could go wrong?
 
Meanwhile, more and more agencies — governmental and otherwise —  are warning of chaos and violence leading up to, during and following the November election.  Interesting,  because the Department of Defense has just given the U.S. military authority to assist in domestic law enforcement, including giving them the right to use lethal force against American citizens.  That’s right — now our own military can kill us with impunity as the country burns.
 
Here’s more to consider: Donald Trump has been asked if he’ll concede if the initial election results show he lost.  He has said he will not.  Interestingly, Harris has also said she will not.  However, hearkening back to January 6, 2021, and the blatantly obvious stolen election that took place, the Vice President was the one to formally certify the election.  That’s how it works.  So, consider this: how will Kamala Harris — and the rabid Leftist Communists — react if Trump is named the winner?  It will be up to the current Vice President to certify this election.  Will Kamala certify Donald Trump as the winner?  It’s definitely not going to be a “peaceful transfer of power,” friends.
 
Regarding our economic future — your economic future — John Green recently wrote an excellent article for the American Free News Network.  It was regarding having conversations with rage filled “Never Trumpers.”  He suggests that the best way to win such a debate is to not even mention Trump, but instead, simply point out the Harris plan for peoples’ money, something even the Communists seem to care deeply about.  Go figure.
 
Leftists are all in favor of making employers and financially successful businesses “pay their fair share.”  But consider the capital gains tax.  This affects everyone with a pension, 401K, IRA or other retirement funds. Investments are not taxed until they are realized – turned into something you can spend. The taxman doesn’t care that stocks go up and down, until you sell the stock. Then he wants his cut.  So, if you’ve been scrimping and saving and socking away all you could for retirement your whole life, it’s likely you’ve earned some interest.  Maybe a lot of interest.  Perhaps you inherited a stock portfolio that your parents set up, which has earned hundreds of thousands of dollars over the decades your folks paid into it.  Once you attempt to cash it out, you pay the lion’s share to the IRS.
 
But that’s not good enough for the Democrats.  Their plan is to begin taxing “unrealized capital gains” — gains on investments that haven’t been converted to cash yet.  Biden proposed it, Jeffries and Schumer support it, and Kamala said she’d sign it. Only a Republican filibuster prevents its passage, and Kamala wants to do away with the filibuster. If the bill were to pass, you (and the IRS) will get a 1099 form every year reporting on how much your investments have increased in value. You’ll have to pay taxes on the capital gain, whether you have sold the stock or not.  Where will you get the cash?
 
And the same will apply to your home.  Say you’ve worked hard all your life and have your home paid off.  Surely, over 30 years or so, the value of your home has increased.  Likely hundreds of thousands of dollars.  Even if you don’t sell your home, Kamala wants you to pay tax on those “unrealized capital gains.”
 
How will people afford to pay these annual taxes so they can keep the homes they worked so hard for all their lives — and were responsible enough to pay off?  The short answer is, they won’t.  “You’ll own nothing and be happy.”   Get it now?  The chickens are coming home to roost, perhaps much sooner than anyone realizes.  
 
These are just a few random thoughts for today.  I hope you’ll consider them as I did.  And don’t forget — go get your Bible and read Revelation 14 & 15.  Especially you “Christians” who don’t plan to vote.  November 5th is coming quickly.
