Observations From the Back Row

By Rich Kozlovich

Well, another week has flown by and Power Line has published their weekly, "The Week In Pictures," edition.  As I've said in the past for some reason I can't copy and paste most of their pictures so here's my take on some of what they've presented, along with some observations of my own.

Let's start out with these cartoons triggered by the account of Israeli passengers preventing a fanatical Muslim co-pilot from deliberately crashing the plane.

  1. Hostile Israeli Passengers Violently Assault Peaceful Co-pilot During a Routine Vertical Landing!
  2. Israelis Attack Muslim Pilot!
  3. The Scariest Sentence in the English Language "Hello, This is Your Pilot Mohammad Speaking,"
  4. Co-Pilots Must Not Stab the Pilot. If you have a problem with the pilot, you do not have the right to stab him.  Stabbing the pilot is a serious crime.
As a result of this airlines are offering a new premium seating option that allows you to sit next to Israelis for protection.

The donkey has been the logo of the Democrat party since the 1828 election campaign of Andrew Jackson.    His opponents labeled him a jackass.   Well, modern democrats have refined that image to reflect their current views from supporting slavery to supporting what can only be described as cognitive dissonance.

Democrats insist the Republican party is trying to destroy "our Democracy" by prevent voters in America's graveyards from voting.  How about these thoughts for the leftist mindset of double standards and cognitive dissonance?
  1. If abortion is health care then ICE is a travel agency.
  2. Kristi Noem shot a dog that was killing her neighbor’s chickens and bit here and got wall to wall outrage.
  3. Lindsay Clancy strangled her three kids and got pink rallies plus a one million dollar gofundme.
Britain is relieved to discover the van involved in the Fairford terror plot was filled with explosives instead of Israeli avocados, and protesters were on hand to insist these refugees were welcome.  The British government has issued an apology for whatever these nice Muslim men were doing.  After all, in spite of all those explosives in the van perhaps they were just going for a drive, and were stopped because they being racially profiled.

Getting things right is important, but what happens when we fail in priorities?  We'll stop sports events to review a play over and over again to make sure the officials made the right call, and yet insist there's no needs to verify a "voter" is actually a citizen and who they say they are to vote for the highest officials in the land.  Does that seem like an issue with priorities to anyone besides me?

We're seeing immigrants.... many of which are here illegally.......  who left their countries to come to America because their countries were social sewers.  Now they're waving the flags of their former countries protesting against any restrictions on immigration and demanding America stop deporting them to their original nations they left because they clearly must have hated it.  Now they're demanding we must be more tolerant, inclusive and open minded, working to turn America into the same kind of social sewers they left, so that it would be easier for America to be conquered.  What could go wrong?
