Early this morning I posted my commentary on the Texas gerrymandering issue, and made it clear the outrage and hypocrisy by Democrats was the least of their worries. Little did I know how prescient that was.
President Trump has now ordered a new census, and has made it clear only America citizens will be counted, ending a significant number of House of Representative seats for the Democrats.
Can the President legally do such a thing? Yes, he can! As the Heritage Foundation has reported:
In
a shocking report that has not received the attention it deserves, the
U.S. Census Bureau recently admitted that its 2020 Census count of the
American population was incorrect in at least 14 states.
And those mistakes were costly to certain states in terms of
congressional representation, number of electors, and money those states
are likely to receive from the federal government during the next
decade. To put the scope of these mistakes into perspective, contrast
the errors in the Census Bureau’s latest recount (the 2020
Post-Enumeration Survey, or PES) with the recount from a decade ago (the
2010 Post-Enumeration Survey)—in which there was a net overcount of a
mere 0.01 percent (36,000 people), a statistically insignificant error.
As
explained below, as a result of these errors, Florida did not receive
two additional congressional seats and Texas did not receive one more
congressional seat. Meanwhile, two other states, Minnesota and Rhode
Island, each retained a congressional seat that they should have lost,
and Colorado gained a new seat to which it was rightfully not entitled.
Trump tried to end counting illegal aliens in the past and faced court challenges over that. If that happens again, and I have no doubt it will, and the courts find against him, he just may embrace the Jacksonian solution. Ignore them.
Update: While a mid-decade census is legal it is "intended, among other things, to be used to
re-allocate spending in government programs, not to reapportion
Congress. So, contrary to some speculation, nothing the administration
does now can impact the 2026 election." As for not counting illegal aliens that's also problematic. Follow the link to see the reason why.
If that's true, and it is, how did these illegal aliens get these weapons?
One thing is clear, the argument by Second Amendment
supporters that when guns are prohibited only criminals will have guns
is blatantly true. That has been obvious for so long it shouldn't have

this year? From a Budget Committee press release:
‘The greatest national security threat to the American people is
posed by these open borders. The social cost has consistently been well
in front of the American people. But I don’t think we’ve talked enough
about the financial burden to taxpayers and the fiscal impact.
The Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) has done a
great job. Studies suggest this [illegal migrant] cost is upwards of
$400 billion, but their cost estimate is $150 billion. The lion’s share
of that cost is borne by state and local governments. State and local
governments can't borrow or print money like the federal government, so
they have to balance their budgets by either absorbing this cost through
raising taxes or they have to cut services to their citizens.’
It's bad enough these illegal aliens are here in the first place, but
they're not only eating up our resources, they're turning the nation
into mini criminal states within the states and the federal government

Constitution wasn't meant to be a suicide pact, and the founding
fathers never dreamed there would be a political party dedicated to the
destruction of the nation.
Now we find out this is part of an international criminal gang
that Venezuela's Maduro created. This was in point of fact a military
takeover of these apartments, so the question that needs to be asked and
answered is where are the SWAT Teams, or the Colorado National Guard?
Apparently no one has called for them and the Mayor says he loves all
these illegals. I guess this is what "Tim Walz might just consider this
“neighborly” behavior."

that, it still doesn't alter the fact he and his administration are guilty of High Crimes and Misdemeanors.

Crimes sounds really terrible, but that phrase doesn't mean a more
serious crime. When the Constitution was written it was understood a
"high crime" was a crime of high office, including failure to uphold their oath
of office. All of which I explain here. Not
only Biden, but many of his appointees deserve to be impeached for the
High Crime of failing to uphold their oath of office, including federal
judges, whether he appointed them or not. And yet it took two votes to impeach Mayorkas, an appointee who is clearly guilty of High Crimes and Misdemeanors, by the nitwits in the Republican House
Conservatives only have to concern themselves with facts. What's right
and
what's wrong based on history and what they see going on in reality. Just like one and one is two. Try
making it three or four or fifty without sounding insane. This kind
of mental gymnastics is something only the left can excel at with the
goal of making insanity
seem rational to the casual observer. Why? Because the left has no
parameters, no boundaries, and no moral foundation except to do and say whatever it
takes to get and hold power, even if it means the abandonment of the rule of law.
I watched O’Reilly occasionally in those days - I couldn't take too much

things that are common among the leftists. He

Changing the subject is a red herring fallacy leftists use constantly in
order to prevent a response to their already insane views. If you doubt
me all you had to do is watch Geraldo or one of the other leftists on
these talk shows. They won’t
shut up, they won’t let others have their say without zings that have
nothing to do with the subject at hand, they use personal insults,
and smugly at that, as if their personal attacks are intellectually
substantive.

the Democrat party. This is a common problem when dealing with

President Ulysses S. Grant once said the most sure fire way to get rid of a bad law was to require it's strictest possible enforcement. The thought behind it was a strict enforcement would make everyone acutely aware of how bad it was and get rid of it. Well, two things. First, when Grant was President the federal government was minuscule in size compared to today. No massive compromised and corrupt deep state existed then. Just the corruption existed, and size counts.
Second, we've learned refusing to enforce good laws is also a way to actuate change. America is in a major crisis with an administration that's doing
everything it can, illegally I might add, to destroy the nation allowing
immigrant from socialist driven crap holes to come to America. The Democrats will do anything to keep conservative Republicans from stopping it, including doing what they said they would do and didn't with Kevin McCarthy. Support Mike Johnson continued Speakership — at a price. It appears he hasn't placed a price on his integrity, at least thus far, but if and when he does, the conservatives will vote to kick him out, and he knows it.
Let's stop this insane jabberwocky by leftists shifting blame as to who's responsible. Well, Governor Abbott of Texas wasn't impressed with the 5-4 ruling where "the Court allowed

Amy Coney Barrett and Chief Justice John Roberts sided with the Court’s
three liberal justices in the ruling. Meanwhile, Justices Samuel Alito,
Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh, and Clarence Thomas sided with Texas. “This is not over,” Abbott wrote on X (formerly Twitter) Monday evening, shortly after the ruling was announced. “Texas’
razor wire is an effective deterrent to the illegal crossings Biden
encourages,” he continued. “I will continue to defend Texas’
constitutional authority to secure the border and prevent the Biden
Admin from destroying our property.” He's going to ignore it, and he's getting help.
I'll come back to that later, but I have to wonder at what's wrong with the minds of Justices Barrett and Roberts. I know what's wrong with the three leftists, they're stupid. But this willingness to ignore court orders, which the left has been doing regularly, may become a common place occurrence, and will come back to haunt them.

bacterial infection, with “contributing factors” listed as “COVID-19,
adenovirus and rhinovirus.” Prior to his death, the article reported
that he and his family were brand new to the U.S., having illegally
entered only a month prior. Naturally, the surface level observation is
that, sure, winters in the Midwest are known for being exceptionally
harsh (I’ve still got family in Wisconsin) but Rivero’s family just
arrived. Clearly, traveling from Venezuela to Chicago, by foot or bus
or whatever, is a less than hygienic and sanitary process—tents,
sleeping in the elements, tens of thousands of people from every other
third world nation traveling alongside you, no running water, no regular
