Merrick Garland’s Long History with Barack Obama

Why he keeps doing Obama’s dirty work

Fifteen years ago he was described as: “A judicial moderate and a centrist. Tom Goldstein, the publisher of SCOTUSblog, wrote in 2010 that "Judge Garland's record demonstrates that he is essentially the model, neutral judge. His opinions avoid unnecessary, sweeping pronouncements.”

He is now a puppet for the corrupt Democratic party. His latest attempts to judicially harm Trump will be his legacy.

Obama nominated Garland three times to the Supreme Court. In 2009, when David Souter retired, instead of Garland who was under consideration, Garland watched Souter’s seat go to Sonia Sotomayor. In 2010, when John Paul Stevens retired, Garland, a longtime judge, was overrun by Elena Kagan, who had no judicial experience and was never even a Municipal judge.

While Kagan was the Dean of Harvard Law School from 2003-2009, it is alleged that she did the outline for the Affordable Care Act (ACA), later called Obamacare. It has been a nightmare since its inception, starting with the almost $700 million for construction of the site that went to a Princeton schoolmate of Michelle Obama.

It had to be dumped five months later because the site was unusable. People without medical coverage were forced to sign up for it or be taxed. (Barack Obama tried to join but could not because he had an invalid Social Security number. Only six people were able to sign up the first day.)

Justice Kagan voted in favor of ACA instead of recusing herself, which made it a law. In early 2020 Kagan hired Merrick Garland’s daughter Jessica as a law clerk to serve in 2022-2023. But when Biden was elected and Garland appointed as U.S. Attorney General, Jessica was not allowed to take the position because of potential conflicts of interest.

Obama nominated Garland a third time in 2016 after the mysterious death of Supreme Court Judge Antonin Scalia at a 33,000 acre property in Texas called Cibolo Creek Ranch owned by John Poindexter. Scalia traveled there with a friend but declined security from the U.S. Marshal Service, which protects the Supreme Court judges. The friend was identified as Allen Foster. There is a D.C. attorney, C. Allen Foster, who has represented clients before the Supreme Court.

Poindexter said Scalia was invited to the ranch with a sports group, “not involved in politics.” What Poindexter omitted, according to the Washington Post, was that the other thirty-five guests were “high-ranking members of an exclusive fraternity for hunters called the International Order of St. Hubertus, an Austrian society that dates back to the 1600s.” It had the makings of a high-powered secret society.

According to the Post: “Members of the worldwide, male-only society wear dark-green robes emblazoned with a large cross and the motto “Deum Diligite Animalia Diligentes,” which means “Honoring God by honoring His creatures,”according to the group’s website. Some hold titles, such as Grand Master, Prior and Knight Grand Officer. The Order’s name is in honor of Hubert, the patron saint of hunters and fishermen.” Poindexter said he was not aware of any connection between Scalia and that organization.

Poindexter found Scalia dead in his bed when he did not come down for breakfast. Scalia was pronounced dead of natural causes in a telephone call with a justice of the peace. No doctor was available to visit the death scene or see the body. However, his death certificate now says the cause of death was “myocardial infarction.” An autopsy would have been necessary to make that determination but his family requested that none be done so his body could be returned home quickly.

Since it was a sudden and an unexpected death, an autopsy should have been performed.

There was a breathing apparatus next to the bed but the hose was resting on the bed and not plugged in. Scalia had an assortment of health problems, including sleep apnea.

It was against this backdrop of mystery that Obama again nominated Merrick Garland, this time to take Scalia’s place. Mitch McConnell, then majority leader in the Senate refused to have any hearings on the nomination.

Although Scalia died in February 2016, McConnell said: “The American people should have a voice in the selection of their next Supreme Court Justice. Therefore, this vacancy should not be filled until we have a new president.” The position was not filled until Trump took office.

Democrats are filled with dread over the coming election. There could be no worse candidate than Kamala Harris who was shoved in when Joe Biden was shoved out. The Democrats have tried to make life hell for Donald Trump ever since he first announced he was going to run for president. He will make them pay. And Garland will be swept up in it. If it is a fair election, Trump will win.

Why Is AG Garland Willing to Go to the Wall Over Hur Tapes?

The wrath of Congress should not be lightly dismissed.

Late Wednesday, June 12, Attorney General Merrick Garland was on the receiving end of a contempt of Congress vote, making him the third such officeholder to face the wrath of the House. In a 216 to 207, mostly party-line vote, GOP lawmakers held Garland in contempt for refusing to hand over audio files related to President Joe Biden’s interview with Special Counsel Robert Hur. While the AG cites politicization as the impetus for this action, the real question concerns why he would refuse to comply in the first place.

Garland Refuses to Budge

Special Counsel Hur oversaw the investigation into Biden’s mishandling of classified documents. The process saw the commander-in-chief sit down for two interviews last October. Despite myriad news reports suggesting the president was exonerated of wrongdoing, Mr. Hur actually determined that while “wilful” mishandling took place, a jury may not convict Biden and that he would come across as an “elderly man with a poor memory.”

The transcripts were released, and the left-leaning Fourth Estate declared that such evidence of cognitive decline was not apparent. Indeed, Mr. Biden’s own lawyers decried the report, calling it an unfair and unprofessional observation. Surely, if such a mischaracterization took place, those who disagree would want the audio published widely. What better way to dispel a falsehood than to disinfect with sunlight?

AG Garland, however, advised that the president should claim executive privilege over the recordings.

Something to Hide?

There are two arguments in play for the refusal to comply with the House’s subpoena. The first is that Mr. Garland claims he can see no legislative purpose in releasing the recordings. The other is wildly speculative fearmongering that the audio may be manipulated by artificial intelligence and promote disinformation.

In a novel legal filing, the Department of Justice claimed AI tampering was a sound reason for the withholding, writing:

“The passage of time and advancements in audio, artificial intelligence, and ‘deep fake’ technologies only amplify concerns about malicious manipulation of audio files. If the audio recording is released here, it is easy to foresee that it could be improperly altered, and that the altered file could be passed off as an authentic recording and widely distributed.

“A malicious actor could slow down the speed of the recording or insert words that President Biden did not say or delete words that he did say… That problem is exacerbated by the fact that there is now widely available technology that can be used to create entirely different audio ‘deepfakes’ based on a recording.”

There appear to be a few problems with this line of argument. First, as the transcript is widely available, the insertion of words would be easily dealt with. Unless, of course, the original transcript had already been edited in such a way. This is something that the White House comms team has done on numerous occasions to “tidy up” Mr. Biden’s speeches. However, this is unlikely to be something the DOJ would do.

Another aspect to consider is that if the DOJ’s argument passes legal muster, what is to stop all audio and video footage of any president being withheld under the same rationale?

So, what of the legislative purpose argument? It is worth noting that the government agencies fall under congressional oversight. It is not for a department to determine what Congress should and should not be investigating. In fact, lawmakers have a very real and practical interest in discovering whether Mr. Hur’s written report tells the full story – especially as the Biden administration has called it a complete mischaracterization.

Next Steps for Garland

Despite the contempt charge, the head of the DOJ has little to worry about. When AGs Bill Barr (under Donald Trump) and Eric Holder (under Barack Obama) were held in contempt, the US Attorney in Washington, DC, declined to pursue charges.

AG Garland responded to the contempt of Congress vote in a statement, accusing House Republicans of turning “a serious congressional authority into a partisan weapon.” He continued:

“Today’s vote disregards the constitutional separation of powers, the Justice Department’s need to protect its investigations, and the substantial amount of information we have provided to the Committees.”

This refutation comes hot on the heels of AG Garland writing an op-ed in the pages of Washington, DC’s most notable newspaper on June 11. In his article, he claimed: “In recent weeks, we have seen an escalation of attacks that go far beyond public scrutiny, criticism, and legitimate and necessary oversight of our work. They are baseless, personal and dangerous.”


“Continued unfounded attacks against the Justice Department’s employees are dangerous for people’s safety,” he wrote. “They are dangerous for our democracy. This must stop.”

While this was certainly a political powerplay by the House GOP, it would be a stretch of the imagination to believe Mr. Garland’s accusation that lawmakers seeking to obtain an audio file that would determine if Mr. Biden’s lawyers’ claim of mischaracterization was true or false is a danger to “our democracy.” It may well turn out to be, however, a threat to Mr. Biden’s chances in the 2024 election.

Biden’s DOJ Targeted Trump From Day 1

Attorney General Merrick Garland is in trouble. Not just with Republicans, but with Biden.

While Republicans are unhappy that AG Garland had been going after Trump and other conservatives, Biden and other Democrats are unhappy at his ineffectiveness.

A Politico report from last month cited White House insiders claiming that if Biden wins, Garland won’t get a second term because he didn’t do enough to insulate the Biden family from investigations and that he didn’t move the Trump investigation along fast enough.

Biden’s people wanted a Trump trial before the election and Garland failed to give them one.

In response to the attacks, AG Garland and his allies have begun releasing information about their Trump efforts in a bid to save their jobs. While that isn’t likely to work, it does show that the “independent investigation” was a myth and that getting Trump had been the DOJ’s top job.

A New York Times report reveals that AG Garland “gathered his closest aides to discuss a topic too sensitive to broach in bigger groups” after “being sworn in as attorney general in March 2021”.

The topic was Trump.

Garland urged a J6 investigation that would “follow the connective tissue upward” and “follow the money” even if the “evidence leads to Trump”. Indeed it would appear that the unusually aggressive nature of the J6 investigation and the pressure on defendants to strike deals had less to do with the events or the defendants, but was part of a failed plan to get Trump.

The Biden DOJ had followed a “dead end”, believing that by going after the J6 defendants it could “follow the money” to Trump and his people, and indict the former president that way, but the entire campaign of investigations and arrests showed no actual financial links. The lack of results likely spurred more aggressive actions by the FBI and the DOJ who were under pressure from AG Garland and the Biden administration to produce results. Only to come up with nothing.

While plenty of J6ers were arrested, indicted and convicted, none of this gave the DOJ Trump.

The attorney general was involved in these efforts and the “meetings often lasted hours as Mr. Garland rattled off questions. One early query: Had Mr. Trump made incriminating statements during an Oval Office meeting in December 2020 when his team discussed overturning Mr. Biden’s electoral victory?”

While the prosecutors breathed down the necks of the FBI and their juniors, and Garland breathed down their necks, the White House was breathing down Garland’s neck.

“The investigation itself has determined the timing?” 60 Minutes’ Scott Pelley asked Garland.

“Yes. Exactly right,” Garland lied.

The investigation did not determine the timing, the timing actually determined the investigation.

In June 2021, AG Garland and Deputy Attorney General Lisa Monaco “frustrated with the pace of the work” created a special team to go after Trump and his allies, and since “they did not want too many people knowing about it”, they “gave it a vanilla name: the ‘Investigations Unit.'”

Four months after taking office and with a crime wave rocking the country, the DOJ had two teams going after Trump. The second secret team was meant to be more aggressive.

And it was this team that was spun off into the Jack Smith indictments.


Assistant U.S. Attorney Thomas Windom was put in charge of the secret ‘Investigations Unit”. When Trump announced his candidacy, Garland was forced to follow the rules and appoint a special counsel. He picked Clinton ally Jack Smith who then brought in Windom so that his special counsel investigation was just a continuation of the DOJ’s secret ‘Investigations Unit”.

As the New York Times put it, the Investigations Unit. “team would lay the groundwork for the investigation that Mr. Smith would take over as special counsel a year and a half later.”

The Smith investigation, the DOJ investigations, the House Dem J6 Committee and the prior Mueller investigation were all part of an interconnected effort by Democrats to go after Trump.

The Times describes Garland giving directions to the DOJ campaign against Trump through L. Rush Atkinson, a former Mueller investigation prosecutor now serving as “a senior counselor to Mr. Garland whose work for the special counsel Robert S. Mueller III offered valuable insight.”

The official narrative that the Trump indictments were the product of a non-partisan investigation that followed the evidence where it led has been entirely discredited. The Jack Smith investigation was actually the work of a secret unit within the DOJ that formed because Biden and AG Garland were unhappy that the investigation that followed existing laws wasn’t working.

The Biden administration and congressional; Democrats turned up the heat on Garland. Even as the secret team targeted Trump, House Dems created the J6 Committee to explore even more speculative options for indicting him. The extremely speculative legal theories of the J6 committee would then be used to create the legal justifications for the Smith indictments.

“Prosecutors, special counsel, they follow the facts and the law where they lead,” Garland had told 60 Minutes. “When they’ve gotten the amount of evidence necessary to make a charging decision and they’ve decided that a charge is warranted, that’s when they bring their cases.”

In reality, Garland and the DOJ were not following the facts and the law, they were inventing them. When the facts and the law failed to show any evidence by following the money, a second team was put on the case to begin inventing crimes and creating speculative laws.

When their inventions failed, they turned to a wholly partisan J6 Committee to find a case.

And none of this had anything to do with the law.

Efforts to find a legal basis for indicting Trump, which had begun in March 2021, had collapsed later that year. Everything that followed, leading up to the current indictments, was illegal.

Last October, Garland had told 60 Minutes that “I would resign” before agreeing to political pressure from Biden to go after Trump. Garland had told the CBS News show that Biden had never pressured him and that “Justice Department prosecutors are nonpartisan. They don’t allow partisan considerations to play any role in their determinations.”

That story quickly fell apart as the media filled up with leaks about Biden’s anger at Garland for not getting Trump quickly enough and Garland’s protestations that he really was getting Trump.

Garland claimed in October that Biden “has never tried to put hands on these investigations.” Four months later, we learned that Biden wanted Garland gone for not doing what his boss wanted. And five months later, we learned that Garland personally was all over the investigation.

Stories about the bad relations between Biden and Garland describe the attorney general’s alleged “vaunted independence” (Wall Street Journal) or “Democrats close to Biden fear Garland has become too consumed by that instruction to appear impartial” (Politico), but AG Garland wasn’t being independent or impartial, he just had trouble doing the impossible.

Garland had been tasked with manufacturing a baseless indictment of a presidential candidate that would stick. The DOJ spent years exhausting its legal options before being pressured by Biden, Garland and the J6 Committee into ignoring the law and coming up with something.

But Jack Smith’s “something” is no more likely to stand up to scrutiny than Steele’s did.

The trouble dates back to the Steele dossier in which people in the Clinton campaign paid an ex-spy for hire to find a basis for their conspiracy theory. The dossier fell apart the moment people saw it. The Mueller report proved to be no better. And the Jack Smith indictments will go the same way. What all three had in common was that they were not based on facts or the law, but on ridiculous conspiracy theories sourced from email chains between influential party figures, donors and eventually social media trends that could not hold up to serious scrutiny.

The law is the difference between ‘knowing’ something is true and actually proving it.

After getting the thankless job of trying to embarrass Sen. Mitch McConnell as a fake Supreme Court nominee, Attorney General Merrick Garland got the even more thankless job of trying to manufacture an indictment of Trump based on what the party hierarchy already “knew”.

And that will be Garland’s corrupt legacy.

Most attorney generals are forgotten and those who aren’t are usually the infamous ones.

Attorney General Merrick Garland will be remembered for wasting years, while thousands died in a massive surge of crime and violence, faking an indictment of a political opponent to please his boss and rig an election, and offering humiliating apologies while being purged for his failure.

Hunter Biden, DOJ Stonewalling, and Joe’s Stunning Mistake

Life comes at you fast, they say. Hunter and Joe Biden are finding that out.

Former Assistant US Attorney Lesley Wolf has some explaining to do after being accused of interfering with a federal investigation of Hunter Biden. Wolf was the target of several accusations made by an IRS whistleblower, Gary Shapley. The Justice Department (DOJ) ex-official was subpoenaed in November by the House Judiciary Committee to address Shapley’s allegations that she “limited” investigators’ questioning of witnesses, blocked a search warrant for Hunter Biden’s place of residence in 2020, and tipped off Joe Biden’s son’s legal team that a search of his storage unit had been planned.

No longer employed at the DOJ, Wolf sat for a closed-door interview on December 14 and, according to Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH), declined to answer most questions. “She refused to answer based on instructions she was given from the Justice Department,” Jordan said.

So--what exactly is wrong with Attorney General Merrick Garland? During his early March '23 congressional hearings it's become obvious he's not up to the job--but why? Isn't he supposed to be SCOTUS material? If you consider that no average person would purposefully ruin their own reputation through incompetence, then there is no explanation. Yet, he's done so while chuckling at his critics and pretending to be offended.

So self-sacrifice as buffoonery is service to Marx, one deducts. But what does Merrick have to gain from failing? He just seems so out of his element in these hearings. He does so poorly on so many of the questions, that his go-to move is now to remark, “I never heard about that!” or, rely on--“I need to research this!”.............To Read More....

Senate Judiciary hearings reveal more proof of the blatant bias of Biden’s DOJ

Yesterday during a hearing  before the Judiciary Committee, we saw ample evidence of the blatant dual standards and the deep politicization of the Department of Justice. Senator Ted Cruz (R-Texas) led the charge, challenging Biden’s Attorney General Merrick Garland on many fronts Cruz asked Garland about the inaction over the past 10 months after pro-abortion protesters threatened and harassed Supreme Court justices outside their homes following the leaked Dobbs decision

Cruz reminded Garland of the federal law that bans “picketing or parading” near a judge’s residence Cruz chided Garland for his inaction when ‘rioters descended on the homes of six Supreme Court justices, night after night after night' and when far-left “groups posted online information about where the justices worship, or their home addresses, or where their kids went to school.”

“But did you bring even a single case against any of the protesters threatening the justices, under 18 USC Section 1507 … or did the Department of Justice decide this law doesn’t apply it if it is harassing justices for an opinion that we don’t like?”  Cruz rightly called it a case of political bias by Garland.............To Read More...

Senate Hearing on Attorney General Merrick Garland

One of the things most will come away with is Garland was being brutalized during this hearing. And he's being brutalized because he earned it!   As you watch these videos, you can't help but recognize the truth of that.

The second thing most will come away with is he's really good a logical fallacies, misdirection, and shifting the blame.   One thing Cruz, Hawley, Kennedy, and Cotton have been extremely good at is forcing them back to the point at hand, and forcing them to answer the question asked versus the answers they keep giving to questions that aren't asked, including why the DOJ has a dual standard of justice. 

Josh Hawley Torches Merrick Garland Over FBI’s ‘Unbelievable Show of Force’ Against Pro-Life By - Senator Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) blasted Attorney General Merrick Garland over the FBI’s outrageous arrest of a Catholic pro-life father during a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on Wednesday. Mark Houck, an author and sidewalk counselor,  was found not guilty in January of federal charges alleging he violated the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act.  The law makes it a federal crime to use physical force with the intent to injure, intimidate and interfere with anyone obtaining or providing abortion services.........  Mr. Attorney General, I’ll just say to you it’s a disgrace!”

Here's Senator Kennedy's questioning, and while he's far more quiet, far more polite and, and far less emotional, he's equally effective in exposing these witnesses corruption  as he sets verbal, logical and intellectual traps these liars can't help but fall into.

Senator Cotton and even Senator Grassley roasted Garland.  I wouldn't want to be him for any amount of money and I wonder why he just doesn't resign.  But he won't, and most likely, none of the nitwits Biden has appointed and have been exposed as either lazy, incompetent, or just downright stupid will resign Why, because as my grandfather used to shake his head and say: No Shame!

Top Republicans Call for the Impeachment of Joe Biden

Top republicans are calling for the impeachment of President Joe Biden for his utter failures and potentially criminal actions as president. One of these Republicans is Representative Claudia Tenny.  “How I feel about Joe Biden? I see this guy as a talentless, career politician and completely derelict in his duty, which is why I’ve called for him to be impeached! One of the things about the Republicans that is kind of frustrating at times is, we don’t fight. We have to fight every single day, right now. I stand up to the status quo in both parties, I have a core set of principles. Can we preserve this Republic? It is all on the line. It’s not easy to fight the fight that patriots fight, but it’s worth it,” she said.

“Whether it is Joe Biden’s dereliction of duty at the Southern Border or his disastrous retreat in Afghanistan, I have called for Joe Biden to answer to the American people in Impeachment hearings. I will not stand by while Biden and Pelosi trample on our constitution to push their far-left agenda. I look forward to working with a Republican House Majority next Congress to impeach Biden and hold his administration accountable for their numerous failures,” she continued.

My Take - If the House impeaches Biden will it matter?  Yes and no.  He's clearly been in serious violation of the Constitution and it needs to be established beyond any doubt for the record, and for his ultimate historical condemnation and the condemnation of the Democrat party, because the Senate under the Democrats will not take up this valid impeachment, unlike the fraudulent impeachments of Donald Trump.   History will condemn Biden even if the Democrats will not. 

And quite frankly, that goes for Alejandro Mayorkas, Secretary of Homeland Security, Lloyd J. Austin III, Secretary of Defense, and most of all, Merritt Garland, Attorney General.  Establish the facts and let history condemn them and the Democrat party forever.  

And if the Republicans ever get their act together and take the Senate, the House and the White House, and grow a spine, they need to prosecute them for the crimes they've committed.

House Republicans release a scathing report alleging politicization of the DOJ and the FBI

On Friday, the Republicans on the House Judiciary Committee released 1050 page report detailing the claims made by myriad whistleblowers at the Federal Bureau of Investigation about the abuse of power and politicization of the nation’s foremost law enforcement authority.  They called it "the first comprehensive accounting of the FBI's problems to date, which undermine the FBI's fundamental law-enforcement mission."  The following are the key details of the report.

Merrick Garland’s Department Of Justice Is A Threat To The Republic

Federal raids this week, along with an inappropriate statement about a SCOTUS ruling, underscore the weaponization of the DOJ under Garland. It’s become painfully obvious over the past year that the Justice Department under Attorney General Merrick Garland has been weaponized and politicized to the point that it represents an active threat to the rule of law and the separation of powers. 

It’s not too much to say that Garland’s DOJ has become a threat to the republic. Just take this past week. On Thursday, following an historic 6-3 U.S. Supreme Court ruling that struck down a New York law for violating state residents’ Second Amendment rights, a DOJ spokeswoman released a statement saying “we respectfully disagree” with the ruling........But that’s not nearly the worst thing Garland’s DOJ did this week. In the pre-dawn hours of Wednesday morning, more than a dozen federal investigators raided the home of Jeffrey Clark, a former Justice Department official with the Trump administration. Why? Because Clark had the temerity to investigate claims of voter fraud during the 2020 election.............the entire raison d’être of the Jan. 6 committee is to smear anyone who questioned the outcome of the election or raised concerns about its unprecedented irregularities as a coup-plotter responsible for the Jan. 6 “insurrection.”............ The same day Clark’s house was raided, FBI agents raided the home of Michael McDonald, Nevada’s top GOP official...............

Even worse, in some ways, was the unprecedented memo in October designed to threaten and silence parents whose only “crime” was to speak out about the teaching of critical race theory in schools. The cascade of unforced domestic and international policy errors of the current administration, each more damaging to our economic well-being and national security than any fabricated misstep of the Trump presidency, has not dissuaded most Republican senators from allowing radical ideologues to assume positions of power. Juxtapose that to the mistreatment of Trump nominees, when Democrats flashed a middle finger across the aisle at those who had previously anointed the way for Obama’s cabinet picks.

In the catbird seat, Biden seems more a cat’s paw president, a career politician who upended mathematics and political history by winning more votes than voters after a bumbling basement campaign that sparked little public interest.  He has brought both sympathy and worrisome attention to the cognitive plight of the elderly.  Reflexively, he rubber-stamps executive orders that appear out of nowhere and level a wrecking ball at the American economy.  Without White House meddling, the legacy economy would have sailed out of the COVID storm.  Instead, the concurrence of inoculation mandates, supply gridlock, needless energy dependency, putting the unvaxxed labor force on the breadline, and government alms that encourage unemployment in a favorable job market papered over with Help Wanted signs, all have the economy circling the drain.

Biden is most troublesome when he wanders away from the teleprompter and the country.  Recently, he jetted off to Glasgow with an entourage of 13 cabinet members and hundreds of staffers.  Along the way, he took a convoy of gas guzzlers to the See of Rome to charm the papacy with his devoutness to climate change. Biden was blessed to feast on the Lord’s host, a sure sign that Marxist kinship trumps the sanctity of life and values expected of all good Catholics...........To Read More....

AG Merrick Garland’s outrageous Senate testimony sparked ringing denunciations from GOP senators

Attorney General Merrick Garland yesterday demonstrated that he is unfit for office as the nation’s chief law enforcement officer, much less as a justice of the Supreme Court. Whatever reservations you may have about Mitch McConnell, be grateful that kept this hack off the Supreme Court.  

Garland basically stonewalled on all the difficult questions that he faced. He defended his now-notorious memo to the FBI, written in response (in 4 days!) to a letter from the National School Boards Association, even as GOP senators repeatedly pointed out that the NSBA now has apologized for it.

No apologies were forthcoming from Garland. Nor were yes or no answers to questions posed to him by Republicans who wanted straight answers. A number of times, he used the “I can’t remember” or “I didn’t know” dodge.

  Good example is this brief (under 4 minutes) interaction with Senator Tom Cotton, in which he defended the letter and failed to answer the basic point of why he called for the National Security Division of the FBI (which handles terrorism) to investigate those who complain about school boards..........To Read More...

Geraldo Rivera is a Disgrace

On October 27, 2021,  Pam Key posted this piece on Breitbart news, FNC’s Rivera: ‘Nasty’ Cruz, Hawley, Cotton ‘Make My Skin Crawl’ Disrespecting AG Garland", saying:

Fox News co-host Geraldo Rivera said Wednesday on “The Five” that Sens. Ted Cruz (R-TX), Josh Hawley (R-MO) and Tom Cotton (R-AR) were “nasty” and disrespectful to Attorney General Merrick Garland during his testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee.

Rivera said, “I have to say, watching Ted Cruz and Josh Hawley, they’re so nasty, so snarly. They make my skin crawl. It really is. The way they were so disrespectful. And Tom Cotton? That attack just now? That doesn’t make Tom Cotton look like a real serious senator. That looks like an ideological warrior trying to score a cheap point.”

Here's the video, Tom Cotton tears into Merrick Garland.  One thing is clear, someone is lying, and if we're to believe Garland's comments he's incompetent, possibly corrupt, and either lying or hs no idea what's going on.   Now tell me if you think this challenge to Garland and what he's doing is inappropriate?  It was pointed out Geraldo must not have been paying attention to the Kavanaugh hearings.  Geraldo's comment was this in retaliation for those hearings.  Really?  So let me see if I got this right.  

Fairfax mom says Feds came to local school board meeting - When Attorney General Merrick Garland testified before the House Judiciary Committee last week, he told Rep. Jim Jordan that FBI agents will not be attending school board meetings. However, an activist mother in Fairfax, Virginia says the feds did show up at a school board meeting last Thursday, the same day Garland made his statement to Jordan.

It bothers him the Attorney General of the United States - who has declared war on American citizens exercising their Constitutional rights in challenging insane leftist polices being imposed on our nation's schools are "domestic terrotists", and is siccing the FBI on them - is being powerfully attacked by Republican Senators defending the Constitution against those attempting to destroy it?

Did I get that right?  Did I miss anything?  No......I don't think I missed a thing.  All of which clearly shows if you take away all the interruptions, logical fallacies and outright falsehoods Geraldo spews out, he speaks two languages fluently.  English and stupid.  

Well, Geraldo and I finally have something in harmony. He makes my skin crawl, and he always has.  

I've watched those confrontations with these Senators intelligently challenging all the insanity coming before them these last 10 months, always demanding the truth and calling out those who are destroying the Constitution.  Let's try and get this right.  The truth isn't disrespectful, it's just the truth. 

For a man with Geraldo's personal qualities to have a moral judgement about anyone is mind boggling.  This is a man who has played fast and loose with his hands with women, who wrote a biography naming all the women he allegedly slept with including the 60 year old wife of Jacob Javetts, a prominent and well respected attorney and politician of the day,  Margaret Trudeau, wife of Pierre Trudeau, 15th prime minister of Canada, Judy Collins, all of whom have denied it.  Supposedly cutting a sexual swath across the nation cheating on his wives all the while.  And, supposing all that was true, he just had to share that with the world?  What kind of man does such a thing?

He's been married five times.  He cheated on his third wife with the woman who became his fourth wife, to whom he swore to the world, while promoting this piece of trash book, with whom he would evermore be monogamous.  What was wrong with her mind? Did she really believe that?  Now, I have to wonder what's wrong with the mind of wife number five? Why would anyone marry someone who'd been married four times. It should be obvious to the most casual observer, he's not very good at it. 

As for his credentials as a reporter, he "lied about being at the scene of a controversial friendly-fire incident during the War in Afghanistan in 2001; was kicked out of reporting in Iraq after he accidentally gave up U.S. military positions on-air in 2003". 

How can a man with his character, who competes with Jerry Springer for the title the "King of Trash Television", have anything make his skin crawl?

Believe it or not, Geraldo is a registered Republican, but with allies like Geraldo, do Republicans need enemies?  A man who's ego is so out of touch with reality he actually considered running for the Senate in 2022 after Rob Portman announced he wasn't going to run.

Yes, Geraldo is an Ohioan, it's a Constitutional thing, we aren't allowed to keep the riff raff out. Geraldo lives in Shaker Ht's., Ohio, a wealthy suburb just South of Cleveland, all considered part of Cleveland, in a $2.8 million 12,784 square foot home.  Who ever said promoting skin crawling sleeze didn't pay well?

 Our Group's Take - He's also apparently totally unaware of the rioters/protestors who took over the Interior Dept. Building either, even tho at least 55 were arrested, police were injured badly enough to be taken to the hospital, and so on.  But he's all over the Jan 6th protestors/rioters, even tho a huge percentage of them were invited in by the police, and police actually attacked peaceful protestors - who then in some cases fought back.

In an official memo, Attorney General Merrick Garland has pledged to mobilize the FBI against parents protesting critical race theory in public schools, citing unspecified “threats of violence” against school officials.

Garland’s memo follows a National School Boards Association request that the Biden administration investigate threats to school board members and classify sometimes-heated parent protests as “domestic terrorism.” The NSBA suggested that some of these parents should be prosecuted under the PATRIOT Act and federal hate-crimes legislation.

The school board association letter, however, is riddled with falsehoods, errors, and exaggerations. It begins with the claim that “critical race theory is not taught in public schools,” despite a vast body of evidence, including my own reporting, showing that the teaching of CRT is widespread in public schools. AG Merrick Garland threatens 2020 ballot audits

It sure looks like a lot of people are very nervous about the audits of ballots cast in the 2020 presidential election.  Yesterday, the attorney general of the United States, Merrick Garland, announced that the DOJ is "applying scrutiny" to post-election audits and will offer "guidance."

A slightly more complete transcript:

"We are scrutinizing new laws that seek to curb voter access and where we see violations we will not hesitate to act," he said. "We are also scrutinizing current laws and practices in order to determine whether they discredit against black voters and other voters of color. Particularly concerning with in this regard are several studies showing that in some jurisdictions nonwhite voters must wait in line substantially longer than white voters to cast their ballots."

"The Department of Justice will apply the same scrutiny to postelection audits, according to Garland, to make sure the election reviews fall in line with federal laws meant to protect records and guard against voter intimidation," the Epoch Times reported.

There is a ton of sickening irony in Garland's implicit threat to auditors.  At Gateway Pundit, Joe Hoft lists some of the egregiously suspicious activities during the counting of ballots Election Night that the Department of Justice refused to investigate — things like expelling visitors, covering up windows, and then being caught on surveillance cameras pulling suitcases out and running ballots through machines..........To Read More.....

My Take - Remember this is the "moderate" Obama wanted to sit on the Supreme Court, and Mitch McConnell refuse to bring his candidacy up for a Senate vote.  He did that right at least.
