Why the Cattle Cars Aren’t Being Built

Against the brutality of October 7, 2023, it’s been heartwarming for Jews to be surrounded by Christian love and support. This is so unlike what happened in the years leading up to the Holocaust. In 1933, Germany’s population was 67 million. German Jews were less than 1% of the population—just over 500,000. Yet, in 1933, the satanic Adolph Hitler, whose party received the greatest number of seats in the Reichstag, leading to his being appointed chancellor, blamed the country’s microscopic Jewish population for everything bad that had happened to Germany since World War I.

The cattle cars were being built...

There were no phone cameras or social media, and yet the horrors of Jewish life in the Third Reich crept out. And what was the world’s response? Mostly silence. From the Vatican to the White House, from church pulpits to Pulitzer reporters, mostly silence. Yes, there were many instances of “righteous Christians” risking and sometimes losing their lives to save Jews...but overall, silence.

This confirmed the Nazi belief that the world wanted Auschwitz to be built ...

Thankfully there wasn’t silence following the barbaric October 7 attack, when Hamas (supported by a majority of Gazan Palestinians) murdered, tortured, raped, killed or kidnapped innocent Israelis. Almost immediately, the world saw examples of Christian solidarity with Jews/Israel including:

• Christian nations shining the Israeli flag on their buildings or iconic monuments.
• Christians wearing T-shirts or pins with American and Israel flags.
• Churches inviting Jews to speak about what was happening in Israel.
• Churches raising money and/or sending supplies to Israel.
• Christians wearing a Star of David along with their cherished cross to show support.
• Christians attending city council meetings to protest any resolution that supported pro-Hamas Palestinians.
• Leading Christian spokespeople galvanizing support for Israel’s fight to protect itself and defend Western civilization against Iranian-sponsored terrorism.
• Many Christians putting a mezuzah on their doorpost to show solidarity with Jews. (Symbolizing faith, a mezuzah consists of a small parchment scroll bearing sacred Hebrew verses from the Torah and encased in a decorative holder. More religious Jews put a mezuzah on the doorpost of every room.)

And more than one year after the vicious attack, Christians continue to stand with Jews and Israel. In August, actress Patricia Heaton (Everybody Loves Raymond and Carol’s Second Chance) told Prager U CEO Marissa Streit:

Christ’s biological family is being murdered. Our savior’s biological family, the Jewish people, are being murdered. We need to stand for them. We are grafted into Israel by the graciousness of God, so we need to stand for them.

Just a few weeks ago, the Netherlands leadership outcry (from the king to politicians) condemned the brutal November 7 pro-Hamas/Palestinian Muslim pogrom on Israelis who were in their country for a soccer match. Knowing that three-quarters of its Jewish citizens were murdered in the Holocaust, King Willem-Alexander said after the attack:

Jews must feel safe in the Netherlands, everywhere and at all times. We put our arms around them and will not let them go.

Whether it’s a rally with thousands of attendees or one lone person at a debate, Christians continue to stand with their Jewish brethren to support Israel. For instance, on October 30, Arthur Schaper stepped away from his role as Field Director of MassResistance to staunchly defend Israel when he debated pro-Palestinian Nick Taurus.

Schaper is Christian, and Taurus is Catholic.

Early in the debate, Taurus refuted the exact number of Israeli civilians that Hamas murdered, tortured, raped, killed, and kidnapped on October 7. When you view the 90-minute debate video, you might be reminded of when J.D. Vance was interviewed by ABC’s leftist host Martha Raddatz.

Raddatz quibbled with Vance about the exact number of Aurora, Colorado, apartment buildings that had been taken over by vicious Venezuelan gangs—as if three apartment buildings being destroyed by illegal alien criminals was acceptable rather than the higher number Vance referenced.

Do you remember how Vance responded to the pathetic Raddatz? “Martha, do you hear yourself?”

When Taurus nitpicked the exact number of innocent Israelis murdered, tortured, raped, killed, and kidnapped by Hamas on October 7, we couldn’t help but think: “Taurus, do you hear yourself?” As if any number of Israelis murdered, tortured, raped, killed, or kidnapped in an unprovoked attack would be acceptable.

It would be like antisemites brushing off the Nazi slaughter of six million Jews because they claim the number is 5.9 million.

Elsewhere in the debate, Taurus demanded that Israel return to the United Nation’s 1948 borders. If Palestinians did not accept the UN border in 1948, why would today’s pro-Hamas Palestinians accept those borders in 2024? Palestinians support terrorists Hamas and applauded their October 7 attack on Israel. A two-state solution between Israel and the pro-Hamas Palestinians would be the same as your being asked to share an apartment with a serial mass murderer.

America First Patriots staunchly stand with Israel, as does President-elect Donald Trump. Interestingly, the pro-Palestinian Taurus wore a “Make America Great Again” hat. He yelled out, “Free Palestine!” but never “God Bless America!” Moreover, after the debate, an audience member dressed in patriotic colors with a Trump button and hat spoke to Schaper in a videotaped discussion where he stated that Jews were responsible for 9/11.

Pro-Palestinian? Blaming Jews for 9/11? Shouldn’t these folks have worn Kamala Harris hats?

Being a firm believer in our First Amendment’s right to free speech, Schaper and Taurus should be applauded for holding a debate that ended with handshakes. But the key takeaway from this event, held in an Orange County, California, clubhouse, was that the Christian Arthur Schaper concisely and confidently stood up for Israel.

Thanks to Christians like Mr. Schaper, the cattle cars are not being built!

The Revenge of Israel’s Women on Hezbollah

Some were shocked to learn that Israel’s successful ‘Pagergeddon’ operation had been the work of a female intelligence operative under thirty. But they shouldn’t have been.

Israel’s digital intelligence capabilities rely on the work of young women operating in arenas like Unit 8200 which monitors enemy communications, plants surveillance devices and puts together intel data to form a bigger picture, and Unit 414, the unarmed observers on the front line, many of whose members were killed and a number captured during the Hamas invasion on Oct 7.

Women from 8200 and 414 had sounded early warning alerts about Hamas training drills and movements that went unheard before Oct 7. And Unit 414 had lost 27 of its own on Oct 7.

Unit 8200, which is 55% female, had taken some of the blame for the failures on Oct 7. The assault on Hezbollah provided a unique opportunity for Israel’s women to strike back.

‘Pagergeddon’ went viral on social media but it was only a piece of a bigger puzzle. The Israelis had deconstructed the lessons of Oct 7 and turned them against the Islamic terrorists. Hamas and its Iranian masterminds had wrecked Israeli battlefield communications in the initial attack. Israeli military units were slow to respond, aerial units were unable to strike and hours passed before the military leadership understood the scope of the terrorist assault on the homeland.

The first thing Israel came after were Hezbollah’s communications. ‘Pagergeddon’ was a crucial last step that began with Israel infiltrating Hezbollah’s landlines and then its other communications. When Hezbollah leaders fell back on the pagers and handheld radios, also favored by Hamas, that had been rigged to explode, communications were fatally scrambled.

Hezbollah leaders were forced to begin meeting in person and retreating to bunkers which made it all too easy to take them out. With a broken leadership and communications structure, Hezbollah lacked the ability to decisively move its forces and quickly respond. Within a week, its protectors at the UN and the White House were frantically urging a ‘ceasefire’.

Destroying communications and the chain of command is standard military doctrine, and Israel’s successful implementation of it within such a short time and against one of the world’s largest Islamic terrorist groups will be studied in military academies for generations, but there was also something feminine about breaking apart Hezbollah’s social bonds before a bombing campaign.

While misleading photos and videos of female IDF soldiers carrying rifles circulate on social media, the burden of front line combat is largely handled by men. The killing and capture of unarmed Israeli female observers from Unit 414 remains a deep moral failure. The true role of Israeli women is to act as the invisible heart and soul of the country’s national defense.

When Iron Dome and other interceptor systems take down incoming attacks, the odds are very good that the country’s female air defense controllers are alert and responding. And the extent to which Hezbollah’s communications were penetrated and turned against the terror group owes much to nameless female ‘keyboard warriors’ who exposed the enemy’s weaknesses.

Hezbollah was uniquely vulnerable to these tactics because it was in the awkward stage between terror group and terror state, too big to hide in tunnels, too small to have an effective air defense system, and too dumb to realize that tens of thousands of rockets were still no match for what a first rate air force could do to all its infrastructure and weaponry.

The Iranian-backed Jihadists who had taken over much of Lebanon’s power structure still thought like terrorists even as Hezbollah had grown much too big to function like one.

Terrorist groups start out as individual cells carrying out lone attacks, recruit more members, build militias, seize control of entire areas, transition to guerrillas and then become states. Islamic terrorists naturally adopted the same model employed by Marxist guerrillas across Asia because it was already innate to nomadic raiding culture and foundational to the rise of Islam.

Western militaries perform badly against terrorists and guerrillas, but very well against states.

Islamic armies never achieved much success against Israel, but their terrorists proved quite effective. Peace accords that turned over territory to the PLO and Hamas created safe zones for terrorists inside Israel in which the terrorists were surrounded by civilians who shared their cause of establishing Arab Islamic supremacy over Israel and the entire world.

Hezbollah’s position in Lebanon was much more precarious. Unlike Gaza, Lebanon is genuinely diverse. Apart from its large Christian population, Lebanon contains Arab Sunnis and groups that hate Hezbollah and resent the country turning into an Iranian and Syrian colony.

Mao had advocated that guerrillas should move like fish in the water among the local population. Hamas does this, Hezbollah, like its Shiite counterparts in Iraq, however built an intimidating sectarian power base by controlling entire neighborhoods and areas. Dahieh, the center of Israel’s bombing campaign, is Hezbollahs’s version of Sadr City. Rubbing shoulders with Christians and Sunni Muslims, every move Hezbollah makes is highly visible and reported to the Israelis by both allies and enemies who are eager to see the Shiite terrorist group fall.

Dahieh was not Rafah, it was the Green Zone in Iraq, and Hezbollah was not moving among the people like fish in the water, but like a widely resented occupying army making a lot of noise.

All of that allowed Israel to infiltrate its communications, track its personnel and strike decisive blows against its leaders. Hezbollah had alienated the local population, built up its forces and assumed that the sheer threat of its rocket arsenal would be enough to deter Israel, allowing it to shell Israel’s north with thousands of rockets in order to depopulate the region in preparation for its own version of the Oct 7 attack. But a rocket arsenal is a very crude tool. Like suicide bombs and other terror weapons, it’s useful for attacks carried out from hiding. But the response to a large visible terrorist group isolated in its areas launching rockets is all too obvious.

The inability of the Biden-Harris administration to stop the similar Houthi attacks by its sister Iranian-backed terror group out of Yemen had given Hezbollah a false sense of confidence.

Not only did Israel take out the Hezbollah leadership planning an invasion of the Galilee, providing a redeeming narrative for Unit 8200 after the horrors of Oct 7, but Hezbollah had made the fatal mistake of planning to invade Israel from a territory it did not actually control.

Everything that Hezbollah had thought was a strength, its arsenal, its power and its numbers, were actually weaknesses. Outside Iran and Dearborn, Michigan, Hezbollah has no friends.

Hezbollah is not only widely hated in Lebanon, but in the Arab world. Even the Sunni Arab Muslims clamoring to save Hamas had little more to offer than disdainful shrugs for Hezbollah. The wounds of the Syrian Civil War run deep and many Sunnis hate Hezbollah more than israel.

Israel isolated Hezbollah’s leaders and cut them out, just as it isolated the terror group.

Iran and Qatar had set out to divide Israel. Hamas took hostages, living or dead, while its Qatari backers pushed for rallies that demanded Israel surrender to Hamas to free them. The terrorists had hoped to fracture Israeli society into factions in order to tear it down the way they had torn apart Lebanon. But Israel turned to Lebanon to divide the terrorists and unify Israel.

By attacking Hezbollah, Prime Minister Netanyahu exploited the divisions among the terrorists and reunified Israel around the mission of defeating them. Syrian Sunni Arabs celebrate the downfall of Hezbollah while Shiites lash out at them. Iran is trying to pressure Syria’s dictator to bail out Hezbollah and Iraq’s Sunnis are taking issue with the Shiites dragging them into a war.

Behind the scenes, Israeli women had played a vital unsung role in dividing the terrorists and uniting the country just as they had done in keeping the nation and families together during the war. Countless wives and mothers had watched their husbands go off on deployment after deployment and had kept households going, sometimes from bomb shelters, and then still found time to volunteer and to pray after putting the children to bed.

Thousands of mothers of families displaced by Hezbollah’s rocket attacks have had to do all this without a home to come back to. As the fires burn in Hezbollah compounds, hope rises that all Israelis will be able to return home, that backyards will no longer have to give way to bomb shelters and that Israel’s families may once again know some measure of peace.

In the Bible, the Prophetess Devorah had predicted that “into the hand of a woman the Lord will deliver Sisera”. And in her song she described Sisera’s mother being comforted with promises that the Canaanite general and his armies were seizing women and loot. “Are they not finding and dividing the spoils? A girl or two for every man?” she imagines them saying and concludes with “So may perish all Your enemies, O Lord.” Once again history repeats itself.

And many a woman has repeated the same words and sentiments tonight in Israel.

What Israel Could Do to Retaliate Against Iran

There are plenty of targets – including Iran’s nuclear program – and that has Biden worried.

In the aftermath of Iran’s massive ballistic missile attack on Israel, the US and the world are waiting to see how the Israel Defense Force (IDF) will respond. No one doubts that the IDF will deal Tehran a bloody nose. But just how bloody, that is the question. As expected, President Joe Biden has put in his two cents by cautioning Israel not to strike Iran’s developing nuclear weapons capability – but will Israel listen? Should Israel listen?

Israel Will Retaliate

After the massive onslaught of ballistic missiles launched by Iran to attack Israel, it’s not a matter of if but when the IDF will retaliate. The targets will be meaningful to the mullahs in Tehran and significant to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). In an interview with Sky News, William Cohen, Bill Clinton’s one-time secretary of defense, said he thought the Israelis would respond aggressively by striking military sites, weapons production, chemical facilities, and possibly nuclear. “President Biden has indicated that he is with Israel but does not support attacking Iran’s military capabilities as far as their production of uranium or trying to enrich uranium to the point where they can make a weapon,” Cohen said.

In voicing another perspective, former US ambassador to the United Nations, John Bolton, told NewsNation, “Well, I think Israel, this time, is not going to listen to the Biden administration. Tell him to take the win. …This time, I do think there will be a very substantial response.” Bolton went on to list the IRGC bases and headquarters, oil infrastructure, and, yes, Iran’s nuclear weapons development facilities. “Any of those targets would be perfectly legitimate for Israel to go after,” the former ambassador said.

In a televised statement after the Iranian ballistic missile attack on the small country of nine million citizens, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made his country’s view of Iran’s actions crystal clear. “Iran made a big mistake tonight – and will pay for it,” he vowed. “The regime in Iran does not understand our determination to defend ourselves and our determination to retaliate against our enemies.”

Responding to a press question regarding US support for Israel striking Iran’s oil facilities, Biden said, “We’re in discussion. I think, I think that would be a little … anyway, that would be a little [voice fades away].” What might have come after “would be a little” is anyone’s guess. If history is any indicator, it probably would have been “that would be a little excessive.” From previous statements, Americans know Biden doesn’t support Israel attacking Iran’s nuclear facilities, but just what the Biden administration does think are fair-game targets is not clear.

Ditch the Diatribe – Try This!

One often discussed target is Tehran’s oil distribution capability. Much of Iran’s crude oil is shipped from Kharg Island, about 300 miles northwest of the Hormuz Strait and just off the Iranian province of Bushehr. Additionally, The New York Times identified Kharg Island as providing a port for shipping significant quantities of oil. It could be the ultimate irony for the Biden administration’s attempt to sanction such oil exports. Israel hitting Kharg Island could make Israel’s point and make Biden’s dreams of sanctions come true at the same time.

There Are Many Appealing Targets in Iran

Other military targets might be ballistic missile manufacturing and warehousing facilities, IRGC staging and training areas, and the IRGC headquarters. In 1987, the US Navy destroyed half of Iran’s Navy. Today, the IRGC naval forces remain a potential target. Sinking all or some portion of Iran’s submarine fleet would be an impressive statement that Tehran might not recover from soon.

Yes, and truth be told, Iran’s nuclear weapons development and research plants are enticing targets. Iran is on the doorstep of developing and producing nuclear weapons. The world’s number one sponsor of terror around the globe having atomic warheads is a threat to more than just Israel. It’s confusing, on the one hand, to remember that President Biden, some months ago, asserted the US would not allow Iran to possess a nuclear weapon. Then, on the other hand, when the opportunity to have someone else, Israel, ensure that Iran does not develop atomic weapons by destroying Tehran’s aspirations to be a nuclear weapons power, Biden backtracks. The US national security team has demonstrated a persistent fear of Iran since taking office. Biden’s tiptoeing around Tehran’s sponsorship of terror and proxy attacks on US bases, outposts, and warships in the region is inexplicable. In any case, Israel is not waiting for US advice on when and how to proceed.

Well, just when you think it can't get any crazier, another week flies by and you find, you're wrong, it really can get crazier.   

The Longshoremen went on strike with their leader swearing to destroy America, and now we have a "temporary" return to work with a substantial pay increase.  But that's not the issue.  It's automation, and ultimately, that's a losing issue for the union. 

the federal prosecutor who isn't a federal prosecutor, going before a corrupt Trump hating judge is trying an end run around the Supreme Court's decision on Presidential Immunity, and as I read that I couldn't help be think of that scene in a Few Good Men where:

Lt. Weinberg: [sarcastically to Joanne with Danny present, in an empty courtroom after the trial has been adjourned for the day] "I strenuously object?" Is that how it works? Hm? "Objection." "Overruled." "Oh, no, no, no. No, I STRENUOUSLY object." "Oh. Well, if you strenuously object then I should take some time to reconsider."

All these cases against Trump are collapsing.   The review of the cases in New York aren't going well for the prosecutors with the appeals court in effect asking how can there be a crime of fraud if no one is a victim?  In Georgia the prosecutor, and her paramour may even end up in prison.  And it seems clear to me there will be a RICO investigation over all this if Trump is elected.  

Israel has in effect told Biden, Blinkin, the UN, the EU to take their advice and shove it, and declared this is a win or die war for them.  Neither Russia or Iran officially declared war on Ukraine and Israel, and the UN doesn't seem to mind that, but when Israel strikes back, they must use restraint, agree to a cease fire, and a two state solution.  Their goal? The destruction of Israel and they just can't seem to understand why Netanyahu won't go along with that.  Bibi gets it, this is a do or die war.

Robin Itzler added an interesting chuckle fest side bar in her weekly newsletter about those pagers and walkie-talkies that either seriously wounded or killed over 3000 Hezhollah fanatics.  It turns out they were invented by Irving "Al" Gross, a Jew.

As for Lebanon, it seemed to me the only answer was to break Lebanon up into separate countries, Christian and Muslim.  I asked one of my geopolitical experts who I correspond with occasionally if that was a potential?  His answer: 

Lebanese Christians are already demanding federalism. They have come to the conclusion that Greater Lebanon, which was declared in 1920 by General Henry Gouraud, French General Commissioner for the Levant, has failed. 

Are Republicans actually getting smart about debates?  Trump won't sit for an interview with 60 Minutes, and the poor little muff muffs are whining about it, at least until they apologize. 

They came to me and would like me to do an interview, but first I want to get an apology because the last time I did an interview with them, if you remember, they challenged me on the computer. They said the laptop from hell was from Russia. And I said it wasn’t from Russia, it was from Hunter [Biden]. And I never got an apology, so I’m sort of waiting. I’d love to do 60 Minutes. I do everything. … The laptop from hell was from Hunter. It wasn’t from [Russia]. … If you remember, Lesley Stahl, we got into a little bit of an argument … and they really owe me an apology. … Let’s see if they do it. I wouldn’t mind doing 60 Minutes.

 

Two things.  The Pravda media is toast, ignoring them is ascendant, attacking them is on the rise, and any debates from this point on should be orchestrated by conservatives picking the moderators, none of which should ever again be lying, corrupt Pravda media hacks.  And if they don't like it, tell them to shove it.  And even with the corruption by the media, both Kamala and Walz looked like dimwits.

Putin's again threatening to use nukes, as he's done over and over again, but recently I've discovered, at least the claim is when this broke out the US warmed Putin if he did use nukes every Russian asset around the world would be destroyed with conventional forces.  If that's true that would explain much of what he's doing lately in an attempt to show he's not afraid of such an action.  He is afraid.  His economy is in trouble, China's is in trouble, their societies are upset at their leadership.  

As for Zelenskyy (correct spelling) his con has run it's course, and his stand of no compromise will end or Ukraine will cease to exist.  Based on Europe's economic woes, and Trump's view of this whole thing, the funding is going to dry up, and soon. Biden has agreed to give him eight billion dollars, all most likely untracked, as has been the pattern, but he says he has no money for the victims of hurricane Helena.  Good thinking on Biden's part just before an election.  But given his history, Kamala's history, Walz's history, and the history of the Democrat party, why are we surprised?

You know that voice in your head that keeps you from saying the things you shouldn't say?  Yeah, well, I don't have that!    We need to question everything because everything we're told should bear some resemblance to what we see going on in reality!  Much of what we're told does not!
