Well, is anyone shocked?
Third Lebanon War’ Begins Israel Launches Ground Offensive:
The Third Lebanon War has officially begun,
according to Israel’s Army Radio, as Israel Defense Forces (IDF) ground
forces crossed into Lebanon early Tuesday morning to remove Hezbollah
outposts that threaten Israeli communities. The IDF apparently crossed into Lebanon at the
“finger” or “panhandle” of Israel’s Galilee region, near the town of
Metula, which was Israel’s northernmost town until the capture and
annexation of the Golan Heights.
Did they inform the Biden administration? Given they didn't inform them of their strike that wiped out Hezbollah's leadership, I'm guessing no. Ole Joe was already ticked off about Israel daring to challenge his demand for a cease fire, and according to Daniel Greenfield, the Biden Admin Preps Post-Election Revenge on Israel, states:
And the administration is taking it in the noble spirit for which
it’s known for, that is to say it’s going to follow in the footsteps of
the Obama administration (and plenty of the perps are veterans of Hussy)
and avenge the outcome on the Jews. (Hey it’s a popular response for
thousands of years. So why not?) Joe Biden claims that his real priority is a moonshot cure, but it seems like the admin’s real priority is to attack Israel.
There's been a lot of talk about boots on the ground and how Israel would be overstretched by attacking the Hezhollah in Lebanon. And if victorious, how would they hold it? I remember when this first unfolded there were Lebanese who claimed they would support Israel to the tune of 20,000 fighters. So, I decided to look to see if there was any truth to this, and that number is inaccurate. The actual potential runs closer to the tune of 60,000, all of which could be the basis for fighting the battle, and the eventual control of Lebanon, a much more Israel friendly Lebanon.
But one thing is now clear, Bibi, doesn't care what Joe Biden and his band of misfits think. Joe Biden, Barack Obama, Chuck Schumer, and the Democrats,
none of whom ever served, loved to snicker at, denigrate, demean,
and insult a man who fought in the Six Day War, the Yom Kippur War, was a
member of an elite commando unit, and twice wounded. Well Bibi had his
response well planned.
Bibi had a response for Biden and Obama and all the rest of the
condescending Dem leadership when he spoke at the United Nations last
Friday. He said Israel will not go quietly into the night (and he won’t
either). Then he held up two posters, one in each hand; a “blessing”
poster and a “curse” poster. This veiled reference to Abraham’s Covenant
was a message to the world: better to make Israel a friend than an
enemy. In the meantime, practically as Bibi spoke, bombs were falling on
Hassan Nasrallah and at least 20 other top Hezb’allah cohorts while
they hid in their Beirut bunker headquarters. Nasrallah, chief of
Hezb’allah for decades and responsible for the murder of thousands,
was no more. Before the world knew exactly what had transpired,
Netanyahu was on his way back to Israel. After all, there was a
seven-front war to be fought.
Biden
and the Democrats are still insanely promoting terrorism via their demands
for cease fire, which was never brought up until Israel struck back. Israel is ignoring Ole Joe, because what Bibi wants is called victory. Now, Iran and what's left of their terrorists are scared, and the rest of the world is on notice.
Israel needs to expand this effort beyond it's military, and into Hezbollah's economic picture. As the Middle East Forum notes: "Israel's strategy to defeat Hezbollah must extend beyond the battlefield to cut off its
financial resources", much of it involving drugs and cryptocurrency. "Sanctions must extend to family members members and associates, and heightened scrutiny
is needed in banking sectors of countries like Lebanon, West Africa, and
South America"...... "Infiltrating informal money transfer systems like
hawala networks is essential"... as this will undermine these groups "without firing a shot".
