Dems Embrace Omar as GOP Votes to Boot Her Over Antisemitism - “Some people did something”   After some back and forth, the House GOP voted to remove Rep. Ilhan Omar over her anti-American and antisemitic statements. The resolution mentioned Omar’s repeated smears of Jews and Israel, as well as her infamous “some people did something” response to 9/11, and her statement, “We must have the same level of accountability and justice for all victims of crimes against humanity. We have seen unthinkable atrocities committed by the U.S., Hamas, Israel, Afghanistan, and the Taliban”. Omar has made no secret of hating America and Jews. Brief efforts by moderate Dems to condemn her were quickly sidelined. And in the face of the House GOP vote, Democrats embraced her as never before. The media refused to cover Omar’s history of antisemitism and instead rebroadcast claims that sanctioning her over antisemitism is racist and Islamophobic............
