Let's start with this profound truth.  The Holy Grail of science is no longer truth. It's grant money, and when science becomes rich, it becomes politics.  

As we watch the world move along embracing irrational self serving social, scientific political, and cultural paradigms were seeing societies striving diligently to cancel their culture, corrupting science with politics, enforcing a thought crimes from a small  segment of society that's never satisfied, and never will be satisfied, destroying great institutions because their leadership is filled with self serving invertebrates.  All science now must be predicated on race, just as in Nazi Germany you couldn't separate mathematics from race, primarily Jewishness.  

Lysenkoism is now rampant in American science, and just as scientists under Stalin buckled under, so too it's happening in America. Scientists who are prominent and respected are afraid to speak out for fear not only of their careers, but their personal safety. 

Censorship is now the agenda in academia, Dorian Abbot, a geophysicist from the University of Chicago, was invited to deliver a lecture at MIT but outraged activists filled the social media with demands he be cancelled because he had the audacity to call for "equal opportunity, fairness, merit-based evaluation, and academic freedom".  MIT caved and in spite of their alleged policy on openness, they demonstrate a culture of cowardice. 

Britain has now become a totalitarian state.  Anyone who refuses to go along with the mutilation of young children for transgender purposes must be made to suffer, and they're being arrested.  If you're guilty of "wrong thinking", you will not be tolerated.   This is an injustice that's being acted on, and it's being enacted on in the real world, and from what can reasonably and historically be called America's mother country.

SCIENTIFIC CORRUPTION

How The Left Succeeded - A truly evil man named Noah Harari, a futurist advisor to the World Economic Forum (WEF), told the forum that they must become the majority and leave the rest behind. He was saying we don’t need regular folks. We don’t need carpenters, plumbers, hairdressers, mechanics, automobile workers, farmers, and ranchers. They are all lesser lights. What we want to accomplish on this planet is all for us, Harari was saying.

For the WEF and other related organizations, this statement was acknowledging the globalist elites’ desire to activate Eugenics. It was introduced in the latter part of the 19th century and early part of the 20th century in Russia, where all science that did not fit their desired narrative was rejected. In the end, it set back Russia for decades. It is happening here in the US and will likely have the same result setting our nation back decades if we don’t stop it. Deciding that emissions of carbon dioxide are bad with no science to support it is an example of Eugenics which disregards all science it does not agree with.......

 Academic Ideologues Are Corrupting STEM. The Silent Liberal Majority Must Fight Back (quillette.com) Anna Krylov and Jay Tanzman 18 Dec 2021 - Earlier this year, I (Anna) did something that my friends feared I would come to regret: I publicly spoke out against the intrusion of illiberal thought into science and education, with a letter entitled, The Peril of Politicizing Science, published on June 10th in The Journal of Physical Chemistry. In that letter, I drew on my own early life in the USSR, where communist ideology permeated all aspects of life, and survival required strict adherence to the party line and enthusiastic displays of ideologically proper behavior.  I noted that certain names and ideas are now forbidden within academia for ideological reasons, just as had been the case in my youth. My own home town of Yuzovka, I noted, was called Trotsk (after Leon Trotsky), then renamed Stalino after Trotsky was purged, then Donetsk when Stalin was posthumously canceled by Khrushchev. ............

Ten (10) Ways Science is Being Attacked - Jon Parmentola, commented on John Droz Jr.’s Substack site - I allege that if you look at those in the administrative structure of the National Academies, they are dominated by humanities majors. The same is true of universities and colleges. The assault on science comes from the humanities. I saw it when I was a professor. Those in the humanities were jealous because those in STEM could buy time off teaching through grants to do research. The humanities were subordinate to those in STEM. That is not true anymore.

You can trace this contempt for science to the poet William Blake, who referred to Newton’s discoveries as Newton’s sleep. The assault on the Constitution has to do with its formulation more along the lines of a scientific theory of managing governance and social behavior. It is also evident in the Declaration of Independence: We hold these truths to be self-evident……. It is formulated according to postulates like Euclid's plane geometry.

It's no accident since Jefferson was a scientist of sorts. For those in the humanities there is no objective truth or cause and effect. Their fields of research are riddled with storytelling and nonsense. That is what we are fighting. 83% of college/university graduates major in the humanities. They fundamentally practice pseudo-science by using a narrative to dismiss facts that contradict their narrative. It's the exact opposite of the scientific method......

A landmark report produced at the behest of the centre-right Les Républicains in the French Senate found that the medical industry embarked upon the practice of giving children life-altering transgender treatments with little evidence of its effectiveness while ignoring the side effects. The report found that while parents were often pressured by doctors to put their children on puberty-blocking drugs to prevent suicide, there is little proof that this course of action has any better outcomes for the child........  

 

Transgender ‘affirmation’ has long-term consequences, Oklahoma City psychiatrist says “Affirming” a child’s belief that he or she is actually the opposite gender puts those children on a fast-track to medical interventions that have severe, negative side effects that cause that child to be a patient for the rest of their lives, according to a local expert.  And in most cases the gender distress expressed by children is often resolved within a few years when the child is not subjected to puberty blockers or cross-sex hormones.

“Every single patient deserves to be treated with respect, with dignity, with empathy, with compassion, and they deserve excellent medical care,” said Lauren Schwartz, a board-certified psychiatrist and psychotherapist in Oklahoma City. “That’s not what’s going on here.”......... “social affirmation,” the practice of calling a child by opposite-sex pronouns or allowing the child to dress as a member of the opposite sex, “is not harmless.”

“Parents think that affirming their child is kind and loving. That’s what they’re told......But it’s not kind of loving to validate an untruth........That psychological pressure leads to further actions with permanent physical and mental consequences.......allowing a child to receive “puberty blockers” in response to gender dysphoria can fuel an iatrogenic effect in which an alleged response to a condition is actually responsible for creating or worsening the condition. Children who feel they don’t fit in truly don’t fit in with their peers after use of puberty blockers......

........ some medical websites claim that puberty blockers simply “pause puberty to give children time to think,” are fully reversible, harmless, safe, effective, and lifesaving.......“None of these things are accurate,”......  puberty blockers have significant side effects that are not fully reversible. Those side effects include damage to the hypothalamus, which regulates body and brain development, communication between hormones and the nervous system, sleep-wake cycles, temperature regulation, fluid balance, heart rate, hunger, and reproduction.  “These are not small things that we are impacting,”

The drugs used as puberty blockers have never received U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval as treatments for gender dysphoria.....The side effects caused by puberty blockers also include diminished bone density, early-onset osteoporosis, chronic bone pain and fractures (which does not cease even when the use of puberty blockers is halted), increased risk of infertility, permanent negative impacts on adult sexual function, and cognitive impairment.  “It does impact IQ,”.........adding that the full cognitive impact of puberty blockers remains unknown.

Male patients who are given female hormones have increased risk of blood clots, tumors of the pituitary gland, strokes, high cholesterol, and irreversible infertility. Female patients who take male hormones experience increased red-blood cells (which negatively impacts the heart and cardiovascular system); severe liver dysfunction; heart attacks; depression; hypertension; breast, cervical, and uterine cancers; and irreversible infertility.

“They are going to be a patient for life,” ....... “If you arrest puberty and you put someone on cross-sex hormones and you remove their organs that produce their own biological hormones, they’re going to have to take hormones for the rest of their life.”......

CLIMATE

Biden sending $120 million to tribes for climate change war - The Biden administration announced Thursday that it is giving Native American tribes across the country a total of $120 million to fight climate change. The Department of the Interior (DOI) is disseminating the money, which will be split into 146 different awards to support projects that enhance "climate resilience" in tribal communities. The funding is inspired in part by the administration's view that Native American populations are among the least able to prepare or recover from climate change's impacts.

 

Climate Change and a science we can trust -  The American left occasionally professes to have some investment in Christianity, but those are words, and as the Scripture teaches, by their fruits shall you know them. By their words, actions and boondoggles, the inevitable conclusion is their one, true faith is political power, and one of its principle tenets is “climate change.” Their revealed faith used to be known as “global warming,” but all of a sudden, the global stopped warming, and hasn’t warmed for some two decades. The ‘Can We?’ and the ‘Should We?’ of Science- The remarkable journey of the COVID-19 virus — from bat caves in Laos to freezers in Wuhan, through test tubes and gene-editing machines and “humanized mice,” and finally out into the rest of the world and through your lungs and mine, often two or three or four times by now — has made a lot of people think long and hard about whether they can trust scientists, as a whole, to do the right thing.  As well it should have.  Defenders of the status quo are quick to admonish the plebs for not trusting the experts, as they point to the fact that most professional virologists are in favor of keeping gain-of-function research going.  How can you, a pleb, act as though you know more about virology than the average virologist?.....

I think this article, Disparate Impact Thinking Is Destroying Our Civilization, by  Heather Mac Donald is profound, provocative, and is the perfect foundation all that will follow.  She notes:

The most consequential falsehood in American public policy today is the idea that any racial disparity in any institution is by definition the result of racial discrimination.  If a cancer research lab, for example, does not have 13 percent black oncologists—the black share of the national population—it is by definition a racist lab that discriminates against competitively qualified black oncologists; if an airline company doesn’t have 13 percent black pilots, it is by definition a racist airline company that discriminates against competitively qualified black pilots; and if a prison population contains more than 13 percent black prisoners, our law enforcement system is racist...............

She goes on to give examples of how this insanity has impacted every aspect of the America culture, including every field of :

"science, technology, engineering, and mathematics"...."The Smithsonian Institution announces that “emphasis on the scientific method” and an interest in “cause and effect relationships” are part of totalitarian whiteness.....[in][ the second year of medical school, tests medical students’ knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology. On average, black students score lower on the grading curve, making it harder for them to land their preferred residencies. Step One, in other words, has a “disparate impact” on black medical students. The solution, implemented last year, was to eliminate the Step One grading disparity by instituting a pass–fail system. Hospitals choosing residents can no longer distinguish between high and low achieving students—and that is precisely the point!

Since on average black applicants score below white applicants on the Media College Achievement Test, in spite of the fact they redesigning the test to accommodate blacks. So the solution was to eliminate that test entirely, and instead of focusing on teaching medicine, they're focusing on:

"white privelge.......“intersectionality”—a theory about the cumulative burdens of discrimination. Heads of medical schools and chairmen of departments like pediatric surgery are being selected on the basis of identity, not knowledge.  What is at stake in these changes? Future medical progress and, ultimately, lives."

She concludes, and correctly, "As a result of this falsehood, we are eviscerating meritocratic and behavioral standards in accordance with what is known as “disparate impact analysis.”'

There's more, and this is just a partial list of the insanity:

The ABA, after all, cannot open its collective mouth without issuing a bromide about the need to diversify the bar.......State bar associations are also busy watering down standards to eliminate disparate impact.......State bar associations are also busy watering down standards to eliminate disparate impact......Even colorblind technology is racist. Speeding and red-light cameras disproportionately identify black drivers as traffic scofflaws. The solution to such disparate impact is the same as we saw with the medical licensing exam: throw out the cameras. 

I've stored these following pieces in my files. Some are recent, while others go back a ways to show this is now a prevalent contagion that's a long time process that's happening all over the world, and I can't help but wonder how all this can end without violence on a massive scale.

She was having a seizure on the street and apparently has sustained brain damage. But, at last word, she had not yet died.....

Another tweet claims she died, from the attack by this viscous savage, but either way, this is the racism we see each and every day in America's major cities.  White supremacists are not America's greatest threat.  America's greatest is from savage black thugs, male and female, perpetrating violence on a massive scale.  When the police finally give up and abandon their jobs we're going to see violence in this nation as we've never seen it.

After she completely flubbed an easy answer (for a sane person) about calling for the killing of Jews, it took the discovery of a series of over 40 separate examples of plagiarism to force Harvard to fire (actually, demote) her at full pay. It's easy to understand the emotional appeal of DEI, which is that it is only fair to promote a few unqualified people into positions they haven’t earned and do not deserve to bring about equality. This view holds that the only necessary qualification under a DEI appointment is the person’s continued compliance with and support of DEI as they manage their position. No matter any other skills or lack thereof, the Marxist lie is that only this type of hiring will force equality on institutions..............
• Federal Government Covers Up Anti-White Discrimination Complaints- By Eric Lendrum - Several federal agencies under the Biden Administration have taken steps to prevent the release of information relating to anti-White policies and rules, despite efforts to have such information released through the Freedom of Information Act. As reported by Just The News, both the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and the National Science Foundation (NSF) have invoked exemptions to the Freedom of Information Act on the basis of personal privacy, after several FOIA requests were made by Hans Bader, a former lawyer under the Trump Administration’s Department of Education. Bader had previously filed a FOIA lawsuit in the spring of 2023 regarding documents pertaining to a lawsuit that had been filed in 2022, with the EEOC waiting for 8 months to finally produce the material. One such lawsuit claims that the EEOC discriminated against an employee in the Miami office due to his being a male; the suit represented other men who claimed to be discriminated against due to their gender.....

•  Veruca Salt, so-called ‘white privilege,’ and incrementalism - March 9, 2024 By Andrea Widburg - Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory was panned when it was released in 1971 but has since become a much-loved classic. One of the best moments in the movie, of course, is when the abysmally spoiled, demanding Veruca Salt sings her anthem, “I Want It Now!” only to be destroyed by her impatient greed. Back then, audiences nodded approvingly. Today, if Salt were portrayed as a black activist, she’d be wildly applauded for putting her boot on the neck of white privilege. However, if you look back on America a century or more ago, most whites had no privilege and lived horrific lives. It was the patience of generations that raised them up. To orient you to my thought process here, I need to recount a conversation I had with a Democrat some twenty years ago when my kids were small. He was complaining that someone in his office was an abysmal worker. The kids asked the logical question: “Why don’t you fire him?” The Democrat then embarked on a convoluted explanation about poor black kids growing up in ghettos and needing instant access to quality jobs for which they were not prepared to offset their deficits as opposed to my kids’ (white) advantages........
• Pre-School Children in Sutherland Shire, Sydney Forced to Make ‘Sorry’ Cards About Australia’s Colonisation by Europeans - A class of four-year-old children were forced to make ‘sorry’ cards about the colonisation of Australia by Europeans in what their families have slammed as ‘indoctrination’. Kim, a grandmother, told 2GB’s Chris O’Keefe her twin grandchildren brought home the ‘sorry’ cards on National Sorry Day, May 26, from their pre-school in the Sutherland Shire in the Sydney’s south. One card read: ‘Sorry for hurting you. Sorry for hurting your land.’ The other card read: ‘Sorry for hurting the Dharawal people. We will be kind now.’ The cards were written by pre-school teachers and decorated by the kids. However, the children weren’t taught what the cards meant and were instead encouraged to discuss the history of Sorry Day with their parents..... 
• Verified Hate: The Demand for Racism Exceeds the Supply - One of the realities of living under an anti-white world order is that majority-white countries invent racist pasts so they can justify giving money to non-whites. In Canada, this has led to a ridiculous fairy tale about residential schools killing Indians. This inspired a spate of church arsons. The clergy met these attacks with strange silence; perhaps their faith simply isn’t strong enough to compete with a more militant creed. However, the facts don’t seem to be matching up with this genocide story. Chief says excavation of Manitoba church basement found no evidence of human remains............. The Lingering Effects of Slavery Fred Reed, American Renaissance, July 19, 2023 - I keep hearing blacks say we need an open and honest conversation about race, and oppression — and the lingering effects of slavery. Well, I guess. I’ve sort of thought that, too. Of course, I could guess who wants to do all the talking. But I have to concede that slavery does have lingering effects and, yes, that they are ghastly. Because of this legacy, I am very sorry about slavery. So, let’s talk about the lingering effects of slavery. For starters, Americans can’t walk in the cities of their own country without danger of being beaten to death or shot. How is that for a lingering effect? The downtowns of their cities are uninhabitable: New York, Camden, Trenton, Newark, Philadelphia, Washington, Baltimore, Chicago, Milwaukee, Detroit, Jackson, New Orleans, for example. I am filled with repentance for slavery. Boy, am I.............
• Another racial hoax is slowly being exposed, this time in Canada  - August 22, 2023 By Andrea Widburg - It was a terrible scandal: Ground penetrating radar proved that hundreds, maybe thousands, of Canadian indigenous children died…or, really, were cruelly killed…at Christian and government residential schools, and then had their bodies tossed into unmarked graves. Organized by Scripps’s Latinx group “Café con Leche,” the event was announced via Facebook under the claim of being the “first ever POC [person of color] pool party in [Clare]mont.” The three-hour use of Scripps’ Sally Tiernan House Pool is aimed at the creation of “a safe space for 5C students that identify as POC to come together and build community,” and will be open to all students identifying as POC attending the Claremont Colleges.....
• Course uses 'Pyramid of White Supremacy' to teach diversity - Kassy Dillon January 17, 2018 - A course at Salisbury University in Maryland is using a “Pyramid of White Supremacy” to help teach students about diversity and “cultural competence.” The one-credit course, “Diversity and the Self,” is a required class for any student hoping to obtain an elementary education major. The pyramid ranks various concepts on different levels according to severity, with “Indifference” forming the base of the pyramid and “Genocide” residing at the top. “In a pyramid, every brick depends upon the one below it for support,” an accompanying caption explains. “If the bricks at the bottom are removed, the whole structure comes tumbling down.”.....

Now Edward Blum, who has orchestrated the fight against race-conscious university admission since 2012, says he favors admitting the top 10 percent or 20 percent of each high school graduating class, which is the way Texas and Florida reacted to the prospect of a ban on affirmative action. This procedure yields the same number of each ethnic group as explicit discrimination. It achieves that by doing away with standardized tests and ignoring the nature of the courses a student takes. It penalizes students for taking difficult courses and for attending high schools with rigorous requirements. You'll ruin your career.'" A Harvard professor said that “all hell broke loose” and he was forced to go out in public with armed security after he published a study that found no evidence of racial bias in police shootings.  During a sit-down conversation with Bari Weiss of The Free Press, Harvard Economics Professor Roland Fryer discussed the fallout from a 2016 study he published on racial bias in Houston policing. The study found that police were more than twice as likely to manhandle, beat or use some other kind of nonfatal force against blacks and Hispanics than against people of other races. However, the data also determined that officers were 23.8 percent less likely to shoot at blacks and 8.5 percent less likely to shoot at Hispanics than they were to shoot at whites.  When Fryer claimed the data showed “no racial differences in officer-involved shootings,” he said, “all hell broke loose,” and his life was upended........

You Just Can't Fix Stupid! -  On November 26, 2014 the Daily Currant reported that a rioter and arsonist, 32 year old Tyler Jackson, accidentally burnt down his own home because, “It was dark. I got all turned around. I thought it was a 7-11 or something”, by throwing a Molotov cocktail into the window setting it on fire which ultimately burnt it to the ground.  So we have stupid piling up on stupid. 

First he's a really stupid arsonist because he thinks he's doing his community a service by burning down a store right around his home, which if he had been successful he would have to travel elsewhere in the future to buy products he would need in his daily life instead of right down the street. Secondly he's so stupid he can't even recognize the difference between a residence and a convenience store! What's worse he couldn't even recognize the residence was his own home. Now this is a story about stupidity that just keeps giving. 

He then tries to put it out with a garden hose but when he fails he decides to call the fire department - a fire department that is fighting fires all over the city, some of which he may have set! And guess what? The fire department is too busy to come saying: “They told me they were too busy with other fires to come help.”  And was he surprised? Nooooo, he was shocked…. shocked I tell you! He says: "I couldn’t believe it. I mean we pay these people’s salaries! What do you mean you're too busy?”  And he's not done yet. He goes on in his outrage saying: “A black person’s house burns down and suddenly you’re ‘too busy’ to put the fire out? This is what racism in America looks like.” 

No, this is what stupid looks like in America...........And the media is shocked we still have racial problems in America!  Now that's really stupid!...............

Kakistocracy: We are Ruled by Charlatans, Knaves, and Fools: Part VI, Who Are The Fascists

Kakistocracy is a system of government run by the least suitable or competent citizens of a state!

There are terms I keep seeing being touted by Democrats calling conservatives extremists, and fascists.  I wonder two things.  Have they ever read a history book, and do they even know what the definition of fascism actually is.

Well, here it is, and it starts out with a definition that's only partially correct saying:

Fascism (/ˈfæʃɪzəm/ FASH-iz-əm) is a far-right, authoritarian, ultranationalist political ideology and movement, characterized by a dictatorial leader, centralized autocracy, militarism, forcible suppression of opposition, belief in a natural social hierarchy, subordination of individual interests for the perceived.

Fascism isn't right of anything except communism, and defining it in this way is an attempt to besmirch conservatives.   What fascism represents is far left on everything, and it's only to the right of communism.  Fascism and communism are two sides of the same coin, socialism, and both are leftist in character and action "characterized by a dictatorial leader, centralized autocracy, militarism, forcible suppression of opposition, belief in a natural social hierarchy, subordination of individual interests for the perceived".

Benito Mussolini, a fascist socialist stated: "Everything within the state, nothing outside the state, nothing against the state"?  So, what party is constantly promoting government control over our lives, including what we should eat?  Democrats!

The Democrat party "[has] been largely devoured and directed by its socialist and communist-leaning members. It also encompasses various anarchist and fascist—fascists are leftists—branches such as BLM, Antifa and other charming social organizations, though they’re a bit more overt in their destructive designs."

If the Democrat party is the party of freedom, and hates fascism, why then did Democrat Congresswoman Barbara Lee, a "communist sympathizer who was a personal friend to Fidel Castro" whine because she couldn't interrupt a committee hearing to defend Castro, a greater mass murderer per ratio than Stalin?  

"Whining that she was “silenced” in her promotion of the Communist dictatorship by a daughter of Cuban refugees." 

Was it the Democrats or the Republicans who violated House rules over the January 6 kangaroo court House committee membership? Then when we look at the activity of that committee we see more fascist corruption:

The Department of Justice’s prosecution of a group of Oath Keepers was one of the centerpieces of the Democrats’ effort to build the January 6 protest into an “insurrection.” It worked: the Oath Keeper defendants were convicted and sentenced to up to 18 years in prison.  Now investigative journalist Steve Baker of Blaze News has pieced together security camera footage released by the House Republican majority that, he says, proves that a key witness for the government in the Oath Keepers trial–Nancy Pelosi’s head of security–committed perjury."

Remember, the Committee had that evidence and kept it hidden and refused to release it.  Why?  Because they knew, or should have known, this January 6th event wasn't an insurrection, and the committee hearing was all a gigantic corrupt political scam, and this was perjured testimony.  In effect allowing corruption of the justice system, deliberately, promoting corruption of the rule of law, just like every leftist government that ever existed.  That was the Democrats.

These Davos meetings are the most telling, as Gary Gidler notes in his article, Davos: From Proto-Fascism to Post-Fascism, saying:

The Davos gatherings are a microcosm of what the Left has in mind for the rest of the world. .........The story of the proto-fascist policies of Richelieu demonstrates the theme observable in all future left-wing economies: a short-term boost in economic activity due to crushing, inescapable state intervention, and then, in the long run, unavoidable decline and stagnation. As it is known, the Soviet Union, Nazi Germany, Cuba, Venezuela, and the entire Soviet bloc post-World War II followed this course. The demise of Communist China is inevitable for the same reason. A similar fate is awaiting the Davos Oracles of “stakeholder capitalism.” From that outlook, all four of Dumas’s three musketeers were the first proto-anti-fascists.  State-managed “stakeholder capitalism” was known in the 1600s as mercantilism. To use 21st-century terminology, Cardinal Richelieu established a form of stakeholder capitalism in France, where the government served as the only principal stakeholder.

Who are the biggest supporters of all this?  Democrats!

The newly elected President of Argentina,  Javier Milei Warns Davos to Abandon Socialism:  The West in in Danger:

Argentine President Javier Milei delivered an address fiercely condemning socialism at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, on Wednesday, rejecting the “radical feminist” and “environmental”  agendas fueled by socialism as well. Milei urged world leaders to embrace capitalism as an alternative.  Milei, a libertarian economist, explained in a roughly 20-minute speech how socialism ultimately leads to poverty, how the state “is not the solution,” but rather “the problem itself,” and how leftism has co-opted Western government institutions to further its agendas. Wednesday’s speech was Milei’s first international address since taking office in December.

What party wants to destroy capitalism and impose unlimited government control over the economy and death of the nation via collectivism?  The Democrats!  And just how well have they done with what they're already controlling?  On January 16, 2024 Jack Hellner published this piece, Media operatives peddle ‘strong economy’ narrative but include contradicting facts saying:

It is absolute disinformation for the WSJ to tell the public that the big banks profits went up because of a strong economy. It is a shame that the news pages of the WSJ are no better than the WaPo, NYT, and other media outlets as they campaign for Joe Biden.  It is no wonder that the public has so little respect for, or trust in, what supposed journalists write or report. They are mostly pushing the Democrat agenda to remake or destroy the greatest, most prosperous, and most free country that has ever existed.

Is it Democrats or Conservatives who subscribes to this idea the world's wealth should be confiscated and distributed according to their whims, and all done by a:

"religious cult masquerading as scientific discipline" they're falsely calling "climate science”, seeking to "employ climate modeling to reallocate wealth and solve the moral conundrum of human inequality “paradigm shifting” plan for “environmental redistributionism” (a.k.a., ecosocialism).".........This distillation of the Green New Deal into the guise of scientific study is a bait-and-switch too far.  

The more climate ideology steers humans toward grand schemes of totalitarian domination, the more apparently disconnected from established liberties and traditional scientific methods it becomes. The climate priests of woke theocracy are polluting science in the name of ending pollution............ The environment has become the Marxist Trojan horse through which the government seizes all power over all humanity.

Leftist/fascists "promote authoritarianism, dictatorial leadership, centralized autocracy, suppression of opposition, belief in a social hierarchy, centralized autocracy, and forcible  subordination of individual rights."  So, who are the fascists, Democrats, or Conservatives?

We've just had a major shakeup in the Republican House forcing Speaker of the House McCarthy out of the Speakers Chair.  As time has gone by it's become more than obvious everything the  said about him was true. And what was the first thing McCarthy did when he lost? He said he wasn't going to honor his obligations to his party, or his constituents and finish out his term.  He decided to take his marble and go home to pout.   

However, the problem that caused all that trouble hasn't gone away, and it's never going to go away.  The Budget!

Now we have Speaker Johnson, and he's also finding this whole process difficult, although I've got to give him credit for style.  He seem unflappable, in spite of calls for is removal over the budget negotiations.  I'll tell you what, we'll come back to that.

The fact is America has a  $34 trillion dollar national debt, which in just one year that debt soared to over three trillion dollars more.  As Thaddeus G. McCotter notes in this article:

 

The political truism remains valid: politicians spend other people’s money to get votes.  Unless and until the citizenry decides to vote against such candidates, the spending spree will proceed.

 

This side step to the Constitution, which requires Congress to pass an annual budget, called a Continuing Resolution has been a problem since it's unconstitutional conception.  Now we have a Johnson/Pelosi/Schumer continuing resolution creating a short-term spending extension.

The House passed a short-term spending extension only hours after the bill cleared the Senate, pushing the next shutdown threat to March and surrendering Republican leverage on enacting a border security package. The continuing resolution (CR) passed 314-108, extending spending levels and priorities set by then-Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) in December 2022 during a lame-duck session of Congress.

 

Although Johnson manged to get 16 billion dollars cut from discretionary spending, against 34 trillion in debt, and 1.75 million in extra spending, that's not that impressive.  Since this is the kind of stuff they ousted McCarthy for we find Marjorie Taylor Greene is threatening to oust Speaker Mike Johnson over this deal.  I'll tell you what, we'll come back to that.  

Let's not delude ourselves, 34 trillion dollars is a lot of darned money, 

 

“The federal debt starts the new year at a level that is hard to grasp: $34 trillion,”........…federal deficits now look scarier.”........“Unsustainable,” Marc Goldwein, senior vice president at the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget, told the Washington Post while describing the situation.  “Dangerous… a truly depressing ‘achievement,’” said Maya MacGuineas, president of the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget, in a CNN interview.  “Pretty grim,” Loyola Marymount University economics professor Sung Won Sohn told the Associated Press.  That legacy media are no longer shrugging off concerns about the federal debt is encouraging, if long overdue.  After all, it doesn’t take a PhD in economics to realize that racking up $34 trillion in debt — an amount 20 percent higher than the nation’s GDP, with a debt-to-GDP ratio higher than during World War II — is a serious problem.

And what do we find on the left?  According to another economist in the above article, Stephanie Kelton, a professor of economics at Stony Brook University, says we have little to fear.  She calls this "keeping track of our savings".  "The idea that debt is just “keeping track of our savings” is peculiar. But Kelton is a peddler of strange ideas."  But how do you reason with people who are so obviously and blatantly strange, including these politicians who apparently agree with her.

Are there alternatives?  Here's one offered by Chris Talgo in this American Thinker article, “CPI-X: A Novel Method to Decrease Spending and the National Debt,” saying"

 

........ economist Darren Brady Nelson provides a blueprint for an objective and politically feasible plan to reduce federal spending back to 2008 levels.   In a nutshell, CPI-X would tether federal spending to the Consumer Price Index (CPI), using the CPI as a baseline, and accomplishing actual spending cuts via the “X” in the equation. The X-factors in CPI-X are derived from benchmarking the spending of the U.S. federal government, states, and other countries along 10 basic policy areas, such as defense, health, education, etc.........CPI-X can deliver that much-needed and long-overdue overhaul to the federal budget. But time is of the essence, for the longer we wait to implement these spending cuts, the worse it will get.

 

Sounds impressive, and here's another solution, and the one I like. Let the government shut down, and let it shut down for as long as it takes to force a balanced budget.  

As long as the Republicans fear a shutdown, and understandably so since every time it's happened the Democrats, with massive corrupt support from the media, has managed to put the blame on Republicans.   And they buckle every time.  The no guts no glory invertebracy in the Republican party is legendary.  Their cowardice is foundational to their failure to putting up the dogged and brutal fight necessary to win.   And the Democrats know it. 

So, now that brings Johnson's Speakership into question, and the Democrats are willing to help, for a price:

So, all Speaker Johnson has to do is sell out the nation and he can stay Speaker.   Well, before there's any sell out, or any budget deal, perhaps they may wish to look at the amount of government waste in one year. 

 

In 2021, your federal government spent $6 million every single minute.  That’s $9 billion every day, almost $3 trillion per year.  For just a glimpse of that insanity, the National Institutes of Health (NIH), a part of the enormous Dept. of Health and Human Services (HHS), has 27 Institutes and Centers (I.C.s), and in fiscal year 2020 had a budget of $41.6 billion (plus a separate $3.6 billion for COVID-19 that year).  

 

President Biden’s request for fiscal year 2023 was almost $49 billion...plus the new “mandatory” budget items ($5 billion for a new Advanced Research Projects Agency — Health, $12.5 billion for Pandemic Preparedness, and $1.2 billion for PHS Program Evaluation, etc.), which runs the total to over $62 billion.  All 27 I.C.s asked for more money; last year, the Office of the Director was the only unit that took a “cut,” from $2.521 billion to $2.519 billion.  It asked for $2.728 billion for next year.

Waste and corruption galore, and we're to assume they're unaware of all that?  If so, then we can demonstrably show just how fiscally irresponsible they are, and more justification for a long shutdown.

For those who keep touting insane leftist schemes, try this. Cuba's economy is running on fumes, without tourists bringing in foreign currency, the country can't afford enough fuel.

Government subsidies, a hallmark of the communist regime, are finally facing real cuts. For years, Havana took small steps to reform the economy, careful not to undermine regime stability. But things are getting desperate. For example, the government said Monday that 29 fuel stations would accept only dollars, a move that it hopes will raise more foreign currency and support fuel imports.

Is Cuba of today the America of tomorrow?  I've said this in the past, and I will say it in the future. My grandfather, a coal miner and farmer, was one of the world's great economist. He said if you spend more than you make, you'll go broke.
