Nancy Pelosi: Morality, Free Will and Corruption of Thought

By Rich Kozlovich

On Sunday April 2, 2023 Whitson G. Waldo, III published this piece, Nancy Pelosi's Theology and Her Politics saying:

Nancy Pelosi has been locking horns with San Francisco's Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone. The good archbishop forbade that Holy Communion be administered to Nancy Pelosi within his diocese wherein is her residence. He requires that the sacrament of penance be observed for the "serious sins" of supporting abortion and homosexual behavior, including same-sex "marriage."

The author goes on to point out the errors of her thinking, but I've often wondered at her proclamations regarding her "devotion" to the Catholic church, and her clear disregard for the teachings of the church. I think this statement by Pelosi is enlightening.

"We have a free will. God has given us a free will, and we have a moral responsibility to live up to that free will and what it gives us."

The exercise of free will doesn't preclude condemnation for those free will choices.  Free will is an exercise in judgement.  Some have chosen to murder people.  Some have chosen to rob people.  Some have chosen to rape people.  Should these choices in "free will" be condemned?  Yes, they should, and punished.

That illogical "free will" argument is nothing more than a rationalizational salve she uses to sooth over the open sore of her apostasy, which of course means the church is wrong, the Bible is wrong, and God is wrong.  Which then means she's right, and she not only has the right, but the duty, to ignore the church, ignore the morality it teaches, and ignore the morality taught in the Bible, ignore God, and since now she's the ultimate moral authority it's her duty to promote the latest narrative of the moment, to promote her power mongering.

Benjamin Franklin in his autobiography stated when he was a young man he was a vegetarian, and for two reasons.  Economics and ideology, but mostly for economic reasons.  In those days it was safer and easier to travel from place like New York to Boston by ship versus overland as there weren't good roads.

Franklin said before he became a vegetarian he had a particular fondness for fish, and during one of these trips the sailors caught a huge fish, and when they cut it open a lot of smaller fish poured out of it's stomach, so he rationalized justifying eating the meal that would be prepared from that fish in this way.

"Since you ate them, I'm gong to eat you"

Franklin went on to say the nice thing about being a rational creature was the ability to rationalize.

Ted Kennedy was as contemptible as Pelosi and yet he was buried in the Church.  This piece in Catholic Culture, maintains:

A strong argument can be made for the proposition that Senator Kennedy should not have been allowed a Catholic funeral-- not because of his personal failings, but because his public stands put him in conflict with the Church. Unlike private sins, which can be absolved in sacramental Confession, serious public sins require some form of public amendment, to address the scandal that they create. Ted Kennedy never recanted his support for abortion, and so he remained in open conflict with his Church. To allow a public funeral for him meant allowing for the perception that the Church is not really serious about the abortion issue, and thus creating a new public scandal.

The word repentance means "to turn about' and carries with it an implied responsibility to make a repair for what ill was done.  His "repentance" would have required a public position saying he was wrong in his supported the murder of innocents, and pleaded for forgiveness.  While in his final days he was regularly visited by priests, yet there is absolutely no indication he did any of those things, and that's why the article was entitled, The Kennedy Funeral: Boston's Latest Scandal.

At the end of our lives we review our lives as old friends, old enemies, old times and old memories keep pouring into our thoughts, and we go through all the woulda, coulda, should haves, and the regrets.

Soon Pelosi will be confronted with two things.  As an out of power retired politico she may be trotted out for a sound bite occasionally, but in reality, no one will really care what she thinks, and she'll be alone with her conscience, and her rationalizations.  And secondly, she will be confronted with her mortality, one that is soon to be realized.  Will she be scandalously buried in the church as was Ted Kennedy?

At the end, does it really matter?   Is there any believer that isn't convinced she will still have to answer for her heresy, and all that spilled innocent blood crying out for justice?  Innocent blood which she and her supporters are responsible for!  Nancy Pelosi's stand on abortion is considered a "mortal sin" by the Catholic Church, and rightly so.  Do all the Catholics who voted for Nancy Pelosi, knowing full well her stand on abortion, share in her guilt?

One also has to wonder about a Pope who welcomed Pelosi to the Vatican 2 weeks after passing the most radical abortion bill in history, and given his actions over the years appears to be even more confused than Pelosi.  In light of all that you have to applaud San Francisco's Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone stand for refusing Pelosi the sacrament of communion.

Pelosi Names ‘Catholics for Choice’ as Group That Joined in ‘Mobilization’ for Legalized Abortion

By CNSNews.com Staff | July 18, 2022

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D.-Calif.) delivered a statement on the steps of the U.S. Capitol on Friday in which she noted that “Catholics for Choice” had joined in what Pelosi called the “mobilization” behind bills taken up by the U.S. House of Representatives to legalize abortion nationwide. “Today, the House will pass landmark bills: our Women's Health Protection Act to make the essential protections of Roe the law of the land,” said Pelosi. ..............Pelosi Names ‘Catholics for Choice’ as Group That Joined in ‘Mobilization’ for Legalized Abortion

Nancy Pelosi Receives Holy Communion at Papal Mass in Vatican

Thomas D. Williams, Ph.D. Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi attended Mass in the Vatican presided over by Pope Francis Wednesday, and received Holy Communion not from the pope himself but from another priest assisting at the Mass.  It was unclear whether the priest knew who Mrs. Pelosi was or that she has been banned from receiving Communion in her home archdiocese of San Francisco for her aggressive promotion of abortion, which the Catholic Church considers to be murder.  At a reception Tuesday evening at the U.S. Embassy to the Holy See, Pelosi said she was visiting Rome in a private capacity as part of a family vacation.

In 2021, Pelosi praised Pope Francis’ “immense moral clarity,” but carefully avoided any mention of abortion, which Francis has described as “murder” and a “scourge,” likening it to hiring a paid assassin to take out a child. A “just society recognizes the primacy of the right to life from conception to natural death,” he has asserted.

In January 2015, Pelosi said that she knew “more about having babies than the pope,” insisting that a woman has “the right” to an abortion..................More.....

Biden’s White House Radicalized the Would-Be Kavanaugh Killer as Pelosi Held Up Supreme Court Security Funds.

The attacks on the Supreme Court by the extreme left picks up pace.

By June 8, 2022

Joe Biden’s White House intentionally fanned the flames of the violent, irate political left after the recent Democrat leak of a Supreme Court opinion, as well as the latest Uvalde school shooting. The result has been an attempt on the life of a Supreme Court Justice.

In amongst the political fracas, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is said to be holding up a Senate bill which would grant more security for Supreme Court justices. The U.S. Senate fast tracked the new security plans after Democrat extremists leaked an expected Roe v. Wade opinion from the court in May, but Pelosi has thus far refused to bring the legislation up for a vote in the House, stalling more security for Supreme Court justices.

Would-be assassin Nicholas John Roske is believed to have been radicalized by far-left reactions to the abortion issue, as well as the shooting in Uvalde. The aspiring gunman is said to have had a Glock 17 handgun, a knife, pepper spray, zip ties, a nail punch, a crow bar and a hammer, and said he found Kavanaugh’s address on the internet.  And while President Biden himself has failed to condemn the attempted attack, a White House spokesman tepidly said that “any violence, threats of violence, or attempts to intimidate justices have no place in our society.”.........To Read More.....

My Take - This came in today from David Horowitz:

A deranged Leftist made an attempt on Brett Kavanaugh's life. The radical claimed he was frustrated with "mass shooting" and "abortion rights".  And now, a pro-abortion group is threatening to rally outside Justice Kavanaugh's home. What they're doing isn't just wrong, it's a federal crime.

But this is exactly who the Left is, and who they've always been. They have no respect for our institutions, or the positions that protect them. They don't think about decency or morality like you and I do "all they think is that the ends justify the means.

They're criminals and thugs that will stop at nothing in the name of their agenda. Years ago, they accused an innocent man of rape, and put his family through hell to stop his confirmation. And since then, they've only escalated.

Pay close attention in the days and weeks to come. Because no matter how often I warn you about the Left and the unspeakable evils they're capable of, their actions will always speak louder than my words can.

Pelosi Says It's Important to 'Understand the Brilliance' of Biden's Response to Russian Invasion of UkraineLandon Mion Feb 25, 2022

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) touted President Joe Biden's response to Russia launching an invasion of Ukraine, saying Friday that the president's experience working on foreign policy has prepared him for an event like this. Speaking to reporters, Pelosi highlighted the "brilliance" of Biden's handling of the Russia-Ukraine conflict.  "I think it's really important for people to understand the brilliance with which President Biden is conducting this," Pelosi said, according to Fox News' Chad Pergram. Pelosi on Backing Legislation to Guarantee Abortion on Demand: ‘I Come to This as a Catholic Mother…’

By CNSNews.com Staff | September 24, 2021

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D.-Calif.) gave a speech on the House floor today talking about her status as a “Catholic mother” before the chamber voted to approve the Women’s Health Protection Act—which guarantees a nation-wide right to abortion on demand.  “I come to this as a Catholic mother of five in six years and one week and with the joy that all that meant to us,” said Pelosi.  “But with the recognition that it was my husband and I –our decision.  It was our decision,” Pelosi said. “And we should not, in this body or in that Court, be making decisions for the women in America.”...........To Read More.....

How Would Pelosi's Pro-Abortion 'View' Sound If Applied to Slavery?

  By Bill Donohue | September 24, 2021

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who identifies as a Catholic, was asked at her weekly press briefing to reply to comments made by San Francisco Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone that were critical of the Women's Health Protection Act, a radical pro-abortion bill.  "You're a Catholic," the reporter said. "What's your reaction?"

Here is what she said (she ended with a reference to Cordileone, expressing her disagreement).

"Yeah, I'm Catholic. I come from a pro-life family. Not active in that regard. Different in their view of a woman's right to choose than I am. In my right to choose, I had five children in six years and one week. And I keep saying to people who say things like that, when you have five children in six years and one day, we can talk about what business it is of any of us to tell anyone else [what] to do. For us, it was a complete and total blessing, which we enjoy every day of our lives. But it is none of our business how other people choose the size and timing of their families."

The key word is "view." It is Pelosi's "view" that her pro-life family, and the teachings of the Catholic Church, are wrong on abortion.  A view is defined by Merriam-Webster as "an opinion or judgment colored by the feeling or bias of its holder."

Have you ever heard someone say that it's his "view" that there are 12 months in the year? ........... They speak declaratively. It is not an opinion.

The pope recently said that abortion is "murder," and Archbishop Cordileone called it "child sacrifice." Neither argued that it was his "view."  If disagreements on abortion amount to nothing more than different "views," as Pelosi contends, then why wouldn't disagreements on slavery amount to the same? Consider what a pro-slavery "Catholic" might say if asked how to reply to his archbishop on the merits of slavery. ..........To Read More...

Investigate Pelosi and Her January 6 Committee

This should never ever be repeated.

  by Jeffrey Lord

CNN reported Monday that the January 6 Committee will ask companies like Verizon and AT&T to preserve the phone records of members of Congress who participated in the “Stop the Steal” rally.

The story said:

The House Select Committee investigating the deadly January 6 riot has requested that a group of telecommunications companies preserve the phone records of a group of GOP members of Congress and former President Donald Trump, as well as members of the Trump family, who played some role in the “Stop the Steal” rally that served as the prelude to the Capitol insurrection.

The records request is the first step in the committee’s investigatory process and could signal the direction they plan to go when they call witnesses.

. . . The request for the preservation of phone records of certain lawmakers and members of the former President’s orbit were part of a larger preservation request to 35 social media and telecommunication companies including Verizon Wireless, AT&T, T-Mobile, US Cellular and Sprint. The committee also made separate preservation requests to search engine and social media companies like Apple, Google, Facebook, Signal, Slack, YouTube, Twitch and Twitter.

. . . According to the sources, this group was targeted because the committee concluded each of these lawmakers played some role in the “Stop the Steal” rally. They either attended, spoke, actively planned or encouraged people to attend.”

CNN identified the members as: Lauren Boebert (CO), Marjorie Taylor Greene (GA), Jim Jordan (OH), Andy Biggs (AZ) Paul Gosar (AZ), Mo Brooks (AL), Madison Cawthorn (NC), Matt Gaetz (FL), Louie Gohmert (TX), Jody Hice (GA) and Scott Perry (PA).

OK. Stop. Full stop.

This demand is, on the face of it, fascism. Members of Congress had the audacity to exercise their First Amendment right to speak at a rally, organize a rally, or encourage people to attend a rally — and this demands an authoritarian-style investigation? And they must now be subjected to a fascist-style investigation? Really?................To Read More.....

Nancy Pelosi Told White House to Consult Laurence Tribe in CDC Power Grab

Joel B. Pollak 8 Aug 2021

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi told President Joe Biden's White House to seek help from left-wing legal scholar Laurence Tribe in trying to find a way around the Supreme Court's rejection of an eviction moratorium by the CDC.

According to the Washington Post, citing Punchbowl News, Pelosi advised the White House to seek Tribe's help. Tribe also advised Democrats to delay delivering the articles of impeachment to the Senate against Trump in 2020, the better to gain leverage over the Republican-controlled Senate for procedural concessions. Tribe, who had pushed for Trump's impeachment before he was inaugurated, provided legal advice to the Democrats throughout the failed impeachment.

In June, the Court narrowly left the CDC's eviction moratorium in place, pending its expiration. But Justice Brett Kavanaugh, who cast the deciding vote, said that the CDC lacked the authority to act without congressional approval............To Read More...

Nancy “Neiner, neiner, NEINER!” Pelosi

Like a playground brat seizing last word rites in a childhood dispute, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi put her “Neiner, neiner, NEINER!”  response on display when when a reporter asked her about Republican House Leader’s comments on Republicans on her January 6 investigation, Wednesday.

“What do you think of McCarthy’s Pelosi’s Republican comment?” the reporter asked her.

“Didn’t you get the word? I don’t respond to anything of what they say. So let’s not waste your time or mine,” Pelosi answered—before wandering off in the wrong direction, having to be pivoted in the direction of the only waiting car present by worried-looking aides.

Arrogant, petulant Pelosi, whose “Neiner, neiner, NEINER!” response to President Donald Trump’s State of the Union Address was tearing up his speech on camera,  must NOT be asked questions she doesn’t like.

Pelosi rejects Reps Jim Jordan and Jim Banks for Jan 6 committee. McCarthy pulls all GOP picks

In a surprise move, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has rejected two of Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy's GOP picks to serve on her January 6 special committee.

Libby Emmons Libby Emmons Brooklyn, NY

In a surprise move, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has rejected two of Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy's GOP picks to serve on her January 6 special committee. The two lawmakers who Pelosi refuses to seat on the committee are Rep. Jim Jordan of Ohio and Rep. Jim Banks of Indiana.  In response, Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, who made the picks, has pulled all GOP members from Pelosi's committee. The rules of the committee's formation gave Pelosi veto power over McCarthy's selections...............In refusing to seat the members of the committee chosen by Republican leadership, Pelosi has signaled that she likely doesn't want lawmakers who disagree with the intent of the committee to be on the committee at all. Initially, Pelosi had proposed a bipartisan committee..........To Read More...

Our Group's Take McCarthy is exactly right.  For the videos in the tweets - and I think McCarthy's is well worth listening to.

My Take - Here was the story by  David Zukerman before this broke.  Pelosi's Jan. 6 commission gets its five Republicans July 21, 2021.

Those five names don't include Liz Cheney.   The ranking member of the "Jan. 6" Select Committee is Jim Banks of Indiana.  With Rep. Banks are Jim Jordan of Ohio, Rodney Davis of Illinois, Kelly Armstrong of North Dakota, and Troy Nehls of Texas.............

Politico, as Democrat-biased a website as they come, posted a curious article, July 20, by Nicholas Wu and Olivia Beavers, called "Democrats begrudgingly accept [Kevin] McCarthy picks for Jan. 6."

The clear implication is that Speaker Pelosi should have wielded her "technical veto" power to make sure that all Republicans on the committee would Cheney.  Talk about undermining our democratic institutions.  What would be the next step — a Biden executive order banning any opposition party from Congress?

Apparently Pelosi has once again caved in to the far left, and has lost all sense of propriety. Actually, I'm glad Pelosi has crumbled before these misfits as now everyone is capable of seeing what many of us have seen for many years.  The left is corrupt beyond reason and will trample on anyone who stands in the way of their insane grasping for power to control everything and everyone, to the detriment of humanity

That's history and that history is incontestable.

Ilhan Omar Equates US and Israel with Hamas and Taliban. Here’s why she’s wrong.

June 9, 2021 By

The fiercely patriotic and morally scrupulous Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Hypocrisy) showed yet again Monday that she is a master at appealing to the Democratic Party’s core constituency. She tweeted:

“We must have the same level of accountability and justice for all victims of crimes against humanity. We have seen unthinkable atrocities committed by the U.S., Hamas, Israel, Afghanistan, and the Taliban. I asked [Secretary of State Antony Blinken] where people are supposed to go for justice.”

Yes, that’s right: she equated the United States and Israel, both of which go out of their way to avoid civilian casualties, with jihad terror groups that target civilians and use them as human shields. Where are people supposed to go for justice? Not to Ilhan Omar.

While it is entirely within the realm of possibility that the forces of the United States and Israel may at various times have committed “unthinkable atrocities,” there is one immediate difference between them and Hamas and the Taliban: in the U.S. and Israel, those who commit “unthinkable atrocities,” such as intentionally targeting civilians out of pure malice and hatred, with no conceivable military objective, are arrested and tried, and dishonorably discharged from the military if found guilty.

Hamas and the Taliban, by contrast, celebrate people who target civilians among those who are considered the “enemy” as heroes. Go to Gaza, and you’ll find posters on walls celebrating jihad terrorists who murdered Israeli civilians, and streets and city squares named after the murderers.............To Read More...

Pelosi Condemns Ilhan Omar for Comparing Israel, U.S. to Hamas and the Taliban

Spencer Brown Spencer Brown Jun 10, 2021

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and her leadership team issued a joint statement criticizing comments from Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) that compared the United States and Israel with terrorist groups such as Hamas and the Taliban.

"Legitimate criticism of the policies of both the United States and Israel is protected by the values of free speech and democratic debate. And indeed, such criticism is essential to the strength and health of our democracies," stated Pelosi along with Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-MD), Majority Whip James Clyburn (D-SC), Assistant Speaker Katherine Clark (D-MA), Caucus Chair Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY), and Caucus Vice Chair Pete Aguilar (D-CA).

"But drawing false equivalencies between democracies like the U.S. and Israel and groups that engage in terrorism like Hamas and the Taliban foments prejudice and undermines progress toward a future of peace and security for all.".................To Read More.....

Will the Squad’s Implosion Fracture the Democrats?

June 10, 2021 — John Hinderaker

Over the last few years, it has been considered a truism that the energy in the Democratic Party comes from the far Left, largely in the person of the Squad headed by Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib. The conventional wisdom has also been that the extremism of that wing of the party is a problem, and that the party’s leaders need to tamp it down without alienating what is, by far, the most energetic portion of their base.

This balancing act has never been easy, and it looks like it may be collapsing in the wake of Ilhan Omar’s crazed denunciation of the United States and Israel, which I wrote about here. To save you a click, this is the tweet that started the current controversy:..........To Read More.....

My Take - The party leadership was too afraid to do anything until now.  And it's going to be fun to watch them eat these misfits alive, at least until they're no longer in power and Pelosi and company retire.  Then it will put the lunatics in charge of the Democrat asylum.

Democrat stooges: 35 House Republicans jump in to Nancy Pelosi's latest kangaroo court scheme

In a way, it's kind of good that 35 Republicans jumped in to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's phony "9/11-style" commission on the Capitol riot of Jan. 6.

According to Axios:

The House of Representatives voted 252-175 on Wednesday to pass a bill to set up a bipartisan 9/11-style commission to investigate the deadly Jan. 6 Capitol riots.

Why it matters: Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy and GOP leadership oppose the commission, but 35 House Republicans voted in support of the bill, underscoring the fault lines within the party in the aftermath of the insurrection.

Are They Catholics, or Are They Heretics?

https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgDdJXy3OAHLJn_MpiNbbpiEfmKMk5o52EaM_ErYTz_AQiD3zo-sQWOUuwWSVBiV4IJ3FlQV6T-I03A9NYvk-Cw_z_XUAGBaqiTjOITYXOGIJAACqAjGX9XDktXKqx-gc3w6FR9l1Ki6Us/w41-h54/My+Picture+2.jpg By Rich Kozlovich

On May 14, 2021 Dr. Susan Berry", in short it seems to me Pelosi is declaring she's now the supreme arbiter of Church ethic, morals and doctrine.  Berrym went on to say:

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) said during her press briefing Thursday she can use her “own judgment” regarding the decision to receive Holy Communion, in light of the controversy over the fact that she supports legalized abortion and legislation to help more women obtain abortions.

CNSNews.com noted Pelosi’s response to a reporter’s question that “the U.S. archbishops and the Bishops’ Conference … doesn’t want to … allow you to receive communion” —“No, they don’t”......  When asked for her reaction to the Catholic bishops’ consideration of a document regarding whether politicians who claim to be Catholic, and yet support abortion and euthanasia and work to pass legislation that promotes them, should receive Holy Communion, Pelosi stated, “I think I can use my own judgment on that.”  “But, I’m pleased with what the Vatican put out on that subject,” she added. “Did you read that?” “It will be up to the individual priests?” the reporter asked.“No,” Pelosi answered. “It basically said, ‘Don’t be divisive on the subject.’”

His solution?  He wants dialogue between these abortion supporting politicians and the Bishops and others.  Really? What's that mean?  Does it mean the Bishops will confront them and demand they recognize the graveness of the sin and repent?  Not likely, so his solution means nothing, resolves nothing and upholds heresy!

(Editor's side bar:  The word repent means "to turn about", which in practical terms means not only would they have to stop doing wrong, but to then overturn the wrong done. RK)

Let's explore this.

As the article point out, “The Church teaches that abortion or euthanasia is a grave sin”, and yet we find Jesuit Cardinal Luis Ladaria Ferrer has warned, [paraphrasing] "the contentious nature of the controversy create risks and the debate could become a source of discord rather than unity within the episcopate and the larger church in the United States."

So the faithful should ignore what the Church calls a grave sin in favor of the latest political philosophical flavor of the day.  Do I understand that correctly?

Okay, so his position, and it clearly also is the Pope's position, means what?  It means politics overrides the Church's, strongest condemnations of what is considered one of the most grave sins, abortion.  There was a reason why the Jesuits were expelled and suppressed on more than one occasion, and finally in 1759 the Pope reluctantly suppressed them completely for a time, and the reason was?  They were then, as they are now, in reality a political order versus a religious order, meddling in the political and economic affairs of the nations they infested.  What it really means is the Jesuits and the Pope are heretics.  See...simple!  Now, how do you remove a heretical Pope?  You don't!

Finally, based on what they say and do, I think it would be nice if they answered these questions:

  • Do Pelosi and the other abortion supporting Catholic politicians believe in the Church's position on what constitutes sin?
  • Does the Pope and the Jesuits really believe in the Church's position on sin?
  • Do they all believe the current political philosophical flavor of the day overrides Church laws, which are supposed to be incumbent on all Catholics?
  • Do they all believe the current political philosophy of the day expiates sin?
  • Do they all believe receiving communion is more important than not sinning?
  • Do they all really believe in the concept of sin?
  • Do they all really believe the Church represents God?
  • Do they all really believe in God?
  • If they do, do they really believe God isn't watching and judging by his immutable standards?
Well, it seems to me their actions declare they don't really believe, and they really don't care.

Imagine that!

Biden's Bishop Might Not Be Speaking Up So Clearly About Abortion and Communion, but Pelosi's Is

That both the President of the United States and the Speaker of the House carry themselves to be devout Catholics while also not shying away from extreme pro-abortion stances has caused something of a stir. When it comes to whether or not President Joe Biden or Speaker Nancy Pelosi should receive communion, a matter Catholics bishops plan to discuss next month, bishops are split. Bishop W. Francis Malooly of Wilmington, Delaware--where Biden called home--and Cardinal Wilton Gregory of Washington, D.C. have said they'd allow President Biden to receive communion. As I go back to research old news about issues and those involved I run into some stuff I ran that's even more appropriate now than it was then.   Nancy insisted the Congress pass Obamacare in order to find out what's in it.  Of course sane people laughed because the Congress is supposed to read bills before voting on them.  But under Obama and Nancy that was just silly, since it would be so much easier to just wait and find out after it's passed.

Right?

As Obama used to say, don't wait, just pass it, now!

 mueller crime search

Pelosi questioned President Trump’s fitness before lapsing into insanity, but hey, that's just Nancy being Nancy. Right?  After all, why isn't it normal for her to repeatedly call President Trump, President Bush, forget simple facts about the world and butcher the English language so bad it appears to be rambling nonsense?

Well, Nancy's 80 years old (another sound reason to pass age and term limits on Congress) and is way past her level of intellectual mediocrity, and getting worse, and the problem is two fold.  How can anyone remember all the illogical, nonfactual clabber she spews out regularly?  And how can anyone explain the unending contradictions of their views and still seem rational?  Could anyone work all that into their comments and seem sane?  That has to be mentally exhausting!  So then, it appears to me at least, Nancy is too mentally exhausted to seem sane.

Then there's Mad Maxine (who the Democrats call Auntie Maxine, imagine that, nothing wrong with their minds Right?) who thinks burning down a city is responsible civics training.  I going to miss Nancy when she ends up in a nursing home with Alzheimer's.  Of course, when she's gone there's still Mad Maxine.  What a great minority leader she could make.  As I said Maxine is known as Auntie Maxine to the Democrats, she's now become an icon, a meme and a hero of the left for her righteous indignation and uncowering fury against Trump, against Republicans, against conservatives, against cops, against law and order, against whites, against the existence of the United States.  The perfect representation of the Democrat party.

On a daily basis she gave the Democrat party - who during the Trump administration we're filled with desperation, anger and exasperation -  hope for the future.  All others may feel like fools, and thought of as fools with their antics, but not Maxine.  No one can make Mad Maxine think she's a fool, since she actually thinks she's brilliant and wise!

Now, most loons are pretty much shunned by their peers.  But what about Maxine?   Shunned?  Never!  She's their spiritual leader.  Can you name one Democrat who has come out to condemn her insane rants?  Has there even been one Democrat who has the courage to even attempt to ameliorate her insane rants?

Mad Maxine for Majority Leader, the gift that keeps on giving!!!!!!

Anyone against that is a racist, and I want to see any Democrat refute that!  Oh, sure, she's claimed Russia is out to get her, along with anyone on the right, since all conservatives are either KKK, white nationalists and extremists, and it matters not that she's clearly nuts, she's Auntie Maxine, so that's all just fine and dandy.

I've often wondered how much Maxine must have hated the Obama administration.  Why?  Because she's a big mouth blithering idiot that would run over anyone who stood between her and a camera - much like her fellow Club For the Galacticly Stupid members Nancy Pelosi, John McCain when he was alive, and Lindsay Graham, John Kasich and Liz Chaney, all in order to say the most outrageously stupid things, and in an outrageously stupid way.  She's the gift that keeps on giving.  Even better than Nancy Pelosi, who's clearly being enveloped with either senility, dementia or even Alzheimer's.

Mr. Pelosi's shrewd investments raise suspicions

- The Washington Times - Wednesday, April 14, 2021

Paul Pelosi, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s husband, is one heck of a trader!  He purchased about $10 million in Microsoft shares through call options on March 19th when the stock was trading at $230.35. Days later, Microsoft was awarded a contract by the U.S. Army valued at $22 billion and inked a deal to buy an artificial intelligence firm. Its stock has soared about 12% since Mr. Pelosi’s initial investment.

Now, it could be Mr. Pelosi is just a skilled investor — he owns and operates Financial Leasing Services Inc., a San Francisco-based real estate and venture capital firm, where he and his wife have amassed a personal fortune of about $114 million.............To Read More....

My Take There are some who take exception at what must clearly be insider trading, an illegal activity that goes on all the time in my opinion.  Friends tell friends!  That's the way of the world, and that's not going to change.

Politics is all about mutually beneficial interconnecting relationships, and that includes insider trading, and is probably the least corrupt actions promulgated by those relationships.  That's the world and it's not going to change.  We also have to recognize there are crimes that will be pursued and and there are crimes that will be ignored.  In this case it's all okay, because it's for Nancy!

I keep telling everyone there are no boundaries to the left, and well, there are no boundaries for the left either.  Since the media, government, academia, entertainment, along with commerce and industry are now part of the Church of Wokeness, there certainly can be no questioning the actions of their High Priestess.  That would be heresy.  See.....clarity! Don't we feel all better now?

Media Fact-Checkers Silent as Nancy Pelosi Falsely Claims She Can Unseat 'Any Member of Congress' She Wants

By Matt Margolis Mar 26, 2021

Where are the fact-checkers protecting us from fake news and misinformation? Nancy Pelosi has made an outrageous claim, asserting an authority that she doesn’t have, to pick and choose who gets seated in the House.

In 2020, Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks narrowly defeated Democrat candidate Rita Hart in November by six votes in an election where over 400,000 ballots were cast. Her victory was certified by the state, and she was provisionally seated by Congress. But the Democrats’ razor-thin majority in the House has Nancy Pelosi trying desperately to pad her majority any way she can, even if that means stealing an election from the duly elected Republican, Miller-Meeks.

On Thursday, Pelosi, justifying her efforts, said, “If I wanted to be unfair, I wouldn’t have seated the Republican from Iowa, because that was my right on the opening day. I would have just said, ‘You’re not seated,’ and that would have been my right, as Speaker, to do.”

But Pelosi’s interpretation of her powers as Speaker of the House is just as bad as those who believed that Vice President Pence had the power to pick and choose which electors from each state would be counted. As political science professor and Townhall contributor Eddie Zipperer noted, Pelosi “needs to read the SCOTUS interpretation of the clause she’s referring to in Powell v McCormack. SCOTUS says a seat cannot be denied to a duly elected Rep who meets the constitutional qualifications.”.......To Read More....
