Well, in spite of all the support Schumer and the rest of the nitwits in Congress were getting from the media supporting the shutdown, it's over, and no conservative is shocked at the outcome. In the past the traditional invertebrate Republicans would crawl to the Democrats begging for crumbs while giving away the store.
But there's a new sheriff in town, who refuses to play their game, and their game strategy always needed the media to control the narrative in their favor, and it failed. The media can no longer control the narrative as demonstrated in this interview where little Georgie Slopadopoulos got his marshmallows toasted by Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent. Little Georgie's response? “We Don’t Need a History Lesson Right Now”! Bessent refused to be sidetracked forcing exposure of Little Georgie's hypocrisy. Something these media types aren't used to.
But they'd better get used to it, at least as long as they're still in business, because their halcyon days are over. We always need a history lesson because history is everything, and the reason the left doesn't want a history lesson is because history and reality are the two greatest enemies of leftism since they never align.
Theshutdown was theatre by Schumer trying to save his seat in the Senate by appeasing the far left, the dominant force in the Democrat party. But he couldn't defend his position with any degree of intelligence as demonstrated when Schumer fled the Senate when he was challenged by Ohio Senator Moreno over health care subsidies.
He's been abandoned by seven of his Senate colleagues, but but make no mistake, it's not only the left who are anti-Trump, but there are those who proclaim to be conservatives who hate Trump. Mitch McConnell didn't hold power without support of people like Thune, Cornyn, Graham, Collins, Murkowski, and even Rand Paul with some of the positions he's taken in recent days.
Now the Democrats are demanding Little Chuckie's head and now it appears AOC will be the next Senator from New York instead of Schumer, which will be interesting to watch as she faces people like Senator Kennedy. Make no mistake, she's far dumber than Schumer, in spite of her degrees in economics and international relations from Boston University. Lesson to be gleaned from that? Don't send your kids to Boston University.
Most Americans have never heard of Ed Martin, but his name will
likely be on a lot of people’s lips in the very near future. Martin is
the interim US Attorney for the District of Columbia, and he has ruffled
the feathers of some Democrats in the nation’s capital, as well as
their stenographers in the establishment media. What is being called
Operation Whirlwind – at least, that’s what Martin is calling it – is
targeting elected officials who have publicly made what could reasonably
be described as violent threats against political opponents.
On Monday, Feb. 17, Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY), and Rep. Robert Garcia
(D-CA) received letters from Martin, inviting them to explain threats
they appear to have made against public officials.
Apparent threats of physical violence or incitement of violence
against President Donald Trump, his associates, anyone who served in his
executive branch, and even his supporters, go back as far as 2016. Many
of them were made by Democratic Party officials during rallies or other
public appearances. There is no small number of them – in fact, Trump
supporters could compile a coffee-table book of quotes.
During his first term in the White House, the then-45th president
ignored them, and there is no indication that, as the 47th president,
Trump has personally ordered Martin to launch his Operation Whirlwind.
Clearly, though, someone has decided that enough is enough.
Operation Whirlwind Zeroes in on Threats
While railing against the efforts of Elon Musk’s
Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) to uncover jaw-dropping
amounts of wasted or misappropriated taxpayer dollars during a recent
CNN appearance, Rep. Garcia made a statement that Martin has interpreted
as an incitement to direct physical violence. “[And] what I think is
really important, and what the American public want, is for us to bring
actual weapons to this bar fight. This is an actual fight for Democracy,
for the future of this country,” Garcia said.
There isn’t much room for ambiguity or contextualizing when someone
uses the phrase “actual weapons.” Ed Martin doesn’t appear to believe
so. “At this time, I respectfully request that you clarify your comments
from February 12, 2025,” Martin wrote to Garcia, citing the
congressman’s words. “This sounds like a threat to Mr. Musk – an
appointed representative of President Trump.” The letter adds, “We take
threats against public officials seriously. I look forward to your
cooperation[.]”
How did Operation Whirlwind get its name? In fact, this originated
with none other than Sen. Schumer himself. In March of 2020, as the
United States Supreme Court considered what became a landmark abortion
case that ended the federal protections for abortion access established
by Roe v. Wade, the then-Senate minority leader spoke at a
pro-abortion protest in DC. “I wanna tell you, [Supreme Court Justice
Neil] Gorsuch, I wanna tell you, [Justice Brett] Kavanaugh, you have
released the whirlwind, and you will pay the price. You won’t know what
hit you.”
One could argue that Schumer’s threat was not one of violence, but of
some other undefined consequences. Still, in 2022, a man who admitted
he wanted to kill Kavanaugh was detained near the Justice’s property,
carrying burglary tools and at least one weapon. Was the would-be killer
inspired by Schumer’s words, uttered two years earlier? It might be a
stretch to say he was – but it’s certainly possible.
Kick Back and Ditch the Matrix
Following his remarks, Schumer addressed backlash from Republicans by
claiming that he “didn’t intend to suggest anything other than
political and public opinion consequences for the Supreme Court.” But
there really aren’t any public opinion or political consequences for the
Court, no matter what opinions it issues, so there is still plenty of
room for some to speculate that, even if just in the heat and emotion of
the moment, the senator was indeed hinting at other unspecified
repercussions.
Martin asserted that Schumer directed his remarks at the justices “in
a way that many found threatening” and has requested that the senator
“clarify” them.
Accountability Time
The establishment media, always ready to circle the wagons around
favored politicos, have gone into full outrage mode. Martin is being
accused of trying to “silence criticism” of DOGE. CNN even described the
US attorney as a ‘right wing activist.” However, none of the many other
Democrats who have railed against Elon Musk and DOGE – but without the
talk of physical confrontation (and even with such talk, in one
or two instances) – have received letters from Martin. There simply is
no evidence that Operation Whirlwind is about merely harassing critics.
Martin’s two targets (thus far) were not merely expressing criticism.
Certain politicians on the Hill have for years used an extremely
broad interpretation of “violent” rhetoric. Trump was accused of
inciting an insurrection – and impeached – for telling his supporters on
Jan. 6, 2021, they would have to “fight like hell” to save the country.
At the same time, as already mentioned, those same politicians have
often used incendiary language with complete impunity. Just a month into
the new administration, it seems that accountability, for a range of past wrongs, may be on the way.

Republicans swept the 2024 election, winning a trifecta in the halls
of power the left simply didn’t see coming. Senate Majority Leader Chuck
Schumer (D-NY) certainly didn’t see it coming. He predicted back in
August that Democrats would keep the Senate majority – and now he’s
begging for bipartisanship. The New York lawmaker was ready for war when
he thought his party might nab the trifecta, but now he’s suing for
peace. What goes around comes around, what’s good for the goose is good
for the gander, you reap what you sow, or something about a pot calling a
kettle black – whatever witty expression you choose, the world Schumer
now faces as soon-to-be minority leader is one of his own making.
Chuck Schumer and the Plea for Unity
“To my Republican colleagues, I offer a word of caution in good
faith,” Schumer said on the Senate floor after the blue trifecta he
predicted turned out red instead. “Take care not to misread the will of
the people, and do not abandon the need for bipartisanship. After
winning an election, the temptation may be to go to the extreme. We’ve
seen this happen over the decades, and it has consistently backfired on
the party in power.”
Schumer certainly knows a thing or two about letting that
power go to one’s head and “going to the extreme” – but more on that in a
bit.
“So instead of going to the extremes, I remind my colleagues that
this body is most effective when it’s bipartisan,” he continued. “If we
want the next four years in the Senate to be as productive as the last
four, the only way that will happen is through bipartisan cooperation.”
The senator seems to forget, however, just how partisan his
legislative body has been since Democrats took the majority. Indeed, if
it weren’t for former Democrats Joe Manchin of West Virginia and Kyrsten
Sinema of Arizona, the legislative landscape would look a lot
different.
Foolin’ With the Filibuster
As Liberty Nation News reported back in August, Schumer sang a very different song when he thought Democrats might pull a trifecta of their own, sans Manchin and Sinema:
“The New York Democrat has held his seat for the last
quarter century, and throughout that tenure, he has waffled back and
forth on whether to protect or destroy this particular upper-chamber
tradition – seemingly based entirely on which side of the majority he
happens to be at the time. Well, Democrats currently hold a slim 51-vote
majority, and Schumer made it clear this week that if Kamala Harris
wins in November, Democrats maintain the Senate lead, and if they win
even a razor-thin majority in the House, the filibuster is as good as
dead.”
At that time, Schumer told Politico he was planning to end
the 60-vote rule for legislation to pass two voting rights bills. He
also toyed with the idea of codifying abortion access into federal law
and even expanding the Supreme Court from nine justices to 13.
Bored? Check This Out!
In fact, he tried to kill it in 2022, and the only reason he failed
is that then-Democrats Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema stood firm on
protecting the filibuster. Once those two perpetual thorns in his side
left the party and announced they wouldn’t run for re-election, Sen.
Schumer figured the filibuster was as good as dead in the 119th
Congress. “We got it up to 48, but, of course, Sinema and Manchin voted
no; that’s why we couldn’t change the rules. Well, they’re both gone,”
he explained.
Democrats: Define “Unity”
The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines “unite” as “to put or come
together to form a single unit,” or “to cause to cling together.” Unity
is defined as the “quality or state of not being multiple” or “a
condition of harmony.” If you find yourself wondering why such a simple
word needs to be explicitly defined here, it’s because Democratic Party
elites – from Chuck Schumer to Joe Biden – seem confused about the
topic. Both call for “unity” whenever it seems Republicans may have some
power over them, yet then they turn around and try to steamroll right
over any GOP resistance, all the while hurling insults at the
politicians across the aisle and any Americans who support them.
Trump supporters are “garbage,”
according to the sitting president, remember? Digging just a bit deeper
into the memory hole, one might recall a time when congressional
Democrats promised bipartisanship and unity only to betray their
Republican colleagues once they got their way. As LNN Senior Political Analyst Tim Donner wrote back in 2021 after the two-part “infrastructure” reconciliation debacle:
“After weeks of back-and-forth wrangling involving both
parties, conflicting House and Senate priorities, and on-again,
off-again agreements, the two parties have begrudgingly signaled their
willingness to advance a roughly $1 trillion plan for actual
infrastructure, which is aging or substandard – roads, bridges, rail,
power grid, broadband internet – but they’ll only get it if they agree
to roll over for another bill more than three times the size – somewhere
beyond $3 trillion – for what it has amusingly termed ‘human
infrastructure.’
…
“Much as there are lies, damn lies, and statistics, there are also
good deals, bad deals, and outright blackmail. When a rare, truly
bipartisan effort for a popular cause is sandbagged by a demand more
closely resembling a ransom, an already deeply discredited institution
edges dangerously close to the worst democracy has to offer – majority
rule by brute force.”
To shamelessly steal a quote from Inigo Montoya, Mandy Patinkin’s character from the film The Princess Bride, “You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.”
Good Luck Chuck
Luckily for Schumer, Senate Democrats, and leftists nationwide, Republicans do plan
to play nice – at least when it comes to the MAGA legislative agenda.
Senate confirmation hearings will likely be put to the same majority
bulldozer in the next Congress as they were in the current and previous
ones now that there’s no filibuster on presidential appointments – even
for the Supreme Court. But soon-to-be Senate Majority Leader John Thune
(R-SD) has vowed to protect the filibuster, no matter how much Democrats
resort to the tactic to create a legislative logjam.
The best summary of the New Yorker’s plea comes from Byron York, chief political correspondent for the Washington Examiner:
“Please don’t do to us what we were going to do to you.” Despite
Schumer’s total disregard for unity and willingness to pull the rug out
from under his opponents whenever he held the upper hand, Republicans
simply will not play the same game. So, at least regarding the
filibuster, what goes around does not come back around. What’s good for the goose isn’t good for the gander after all, and the pot calling the kettle black doesn’t apply.

The
revelation that Senator Chuck Schumer helped Columbia University cover
up antisemitism further diminishes his already sinking status among
Jews.
The House
Committee on Education and the Workforce report on campus antisemitism
showed that Sen. Schumer had told Columbia President Minouche Shafik
that “universities political problems are really only among Republicans”
and his staff recommended the “best strategy is to keep heads down”.
For
years, Sen. Schumer had claimed to be a 'shomer' or 'guardian' of the
Jewish community. The report reveals that he was a shomer for
antisemites.
Two years ago, Sen. Schumer enjoyed an 82%
approval among New York Jews. In contrast to the 40% unfavorable rating
among New Yorkers, only 18% of Jews disapproved.
Now he’s tied at 45% of New York Jews have come to hate Chuck.
What happened in the last two years to send his approval rating crashing from 82% to 48%?
This spring, Schumer agreed to become the public face of
the Biden administration’s campaign to bring down the Israeli
government, save Hamas and end the war. In a high-profile Senate speech,
the lifelong politician who had spent his career pretending to be
pro-Israel, equated the Israeli government with Hamas, forbade Israel to go into Rafah
to pursue the terror group, claimed that “the Israeli war campaign has
killed so many innocent Palestinians” and warned that the Biden
administration would use its “leverage” to create a terrorist state
inside Israel.
While many pro-Israel figures excoriated Schumer, he trotted out his ‘rabbi’, Rachel Timoner, a radical leftist anti-Israel activist who had taken part in anti-Israel rallies, to defend his betrayal.
According
to Timoner, Schumer said “what most of us think” and “what the
overwhelming majority of American Jews are saying to each other”.
However what Timoner was saying, according to T’ruah,
one of the anti-Israel groups she was allied with, could be summed up
as, “American Jews must tell our govt we oppose this war and want an end
to the occupation.”
Was Schumer saying what most American Jews were really thinking?
Schumer’s latest Siena poll numbers
in New York are in. And while his total unfavorable rating in the state
is only up a few percent, his numbers among Jewish New Yorkers are
catastrophic. With a 48% approval rating among New York Jews, his is
only 3% higher than Trump’s at 45%. And his disapproval rating is higher
than that of any other statewide figure in the poll. He now has a
higher disapproval rating among Jews than among blacks, Latinos or
protestants.
Those are stunning numbers and they show a sharp reversal of political fortune. They also help explain why the same poll shows that 46% of New York Jews would now vote for Trump.
A
Siena poll that covered the pro-Hamas campus riots found that 87% of
New York Jews believed that they had crossed the line into antisemitism
and 80% supported calling in the cops.
This is completely at odds
with the messaging that has come from Timoner and the infrastructure of
allied anti-Israel astroturf groups like J Street, T’ruah, Bend the
Arc, New York Jewish Agenda, Jewish Voice for Peace, If Not Now, and
Jews for Racial and Economic Justice which receive nonstop coverage from
a media that pretends these extremists represent Jews.
The views
of New York Jews are not actually reflective of those pushed by the
JTA, The Forward and other anti-Israel leftist narrative outlets and
Sen. Schumer is now paying the price.
In the months since his ill-fated speech, Schumer has struggled to backtrack his remarks, but in June he was booed at New York’s Israel parade even when he was avoiding any controversy. And there was more booing at the Jerusalem Post’s annual conference in Manhattan.
The
Jewish Democratic Council of America is no longer vocally celebrating
the Schumer speech or advocating for an “end to this conflict” and has instead taken to sending panicked emails with headlines like “How to Persuade Your Friends that Trump is Not the Answer”.
What that really says is that quite a few Jewish Democrats now believe Trump just might be.
Despite
popular narratives about what percent of Jews voted which way in
presidential elections, there is no reliable independent polling of
Jewish voters nationwide.
The numbers that are thrown around usually come from Democrat and left-wing organizations.
For example, a recent rash of media stories with headlines like “Jewish people in US overwhelmingly support Biden and oppose Trump” used a poll from the
Jewish Electorate Institute which is headed by Halie Soifer who is also
the executive director of the Jewish Democratic Council of America. The
JDCA then put out a press release announcing a “just released poll from
the non-partisan Jewish Electorate Institute”. And the poll was
conducted by GBAO Strategies which boasts of being 2022’s Democratic
Pollster of The Year.
Siena, the pollster quoted in this article,
is the one reliable independent pollster which regularly measures Jews
as a part of the larger electorate. While these polls are generally
limited to New York, that is also the state with the largest single
Jewish population. And the Siena polls often show that the hoax polls of
Jews promoted by leftist organizations are simply wrong.
The JDCA poll promoted by every media outlet claimed to show “Biden leading Trump 72% to 22%”. How could that be possible if the split is 52% to 46% in New York?
Sen.
Schumer and the JDCA know the real numbers which is why they’ve adopted
a more conciliatory tone. They’ve learned the hard way that the
majority of Jews are not on their side.
Each Biden anti-Israel
move led to a backlash from American Jews. That’s why the Biden
administration, which initially broadcast its decision to block military
aid to Israel, has taken to angrily denying it and condemning Prime
Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for even mentioning it.
The formal
narrative seen from the New York Times to the JTA is that American Jews
chose Biden over Israel. But if that were true, why are Sen. Schumer and
the JDCA so worried?
Schumer’s poll numbers are a warning that Jews oppose the leftist anti-Israel agenda.
After tossing
Jewish voters overboard to accommodate the Hamas supporters of Dearborn,
Michigan, the Democrats are starting to get nervous about the choice
they made.
Despite the rollout of the campaign, beginning with
Senator Schumer’s floor speech blasting Israel, and various liberal
Jewish surrogates, including Rep. Jerry Nadler, vocally opposing the
campaign against Hamas, the Democrats did not manage to sell Jews on
Biden’s betrayal.
Biden’s declaration that he would stop
providing military support to Israel if it continued to pursue Hamas
into Rafah touched off a major backlash from donors, like Haim Saban,
from celebrities, like Michael Rappaport, who has said he could vote for
Trump, and ordinary Jews.
While there’s no accurate polling of
Jewish voters because there are too few Jews in much of the country to
be captured by conventional polls and polls specifically surveying Jews
are usually run by leftist groups, Democrats have suddenly begun to
sweat the Jewish vote.
And that speaks volumes.
The Jewish
Democratic Council of America, which usually complacently assumes that
Republicans are not actual competition, has been sending out a series of
panicked emails the latest of which is headlined, “How to Persuade Your
Friends that Trump is Not the Answer”.
It concludes with, “Our work to ensure the Jewish electorate supports Joe Biden and Democrats has never been more important.”
It doesn’t take much to read between the lines and smell the fear.
A story at the militantly anti-Trump site The Bulwark described
Biden’s betrayal as “an inflection point” in the presidential race that
sent Jewish donors to Trump. And even those who aren’t backing Trump
increasingly aren’t backing Biden.
“The conversations I’ve had
with donors is that they want to stop donating to Biden or Democrats,”
Rep. Jared Moskowitz related. “They’re not talking about turning on the
spigot for Trump, it’s turning off the spigot for us. Some are
billionaires. Some are millionaires. And a few have told me they’re not
contributing to Trump but they might vote for him. The question is
whether this is irreparable. I hope not. The next several months will
determine that.”
After Biden’s refusal to help Israel defeat
Hamas in its stronghold in Rafah, the JDCA initially issued a statement
backing him up only to later backtrack and claim that “there are reasons
to disagree with the administration’s recent decision to halt a single
arms transfer to Israel.”
The JDCA had clearly lost the argument even among its own supporters and donors.
When
Sen. Schumer arrived at the JDCA leadership summit which was meant to
pitch Jews on the party, he had left behind the attacks on Israel’s
campaign against Hamas, and the ‘born again shomer’ blasted Hamas and
the media.
“Jewish voters have always found a home in the
Democratic Party year after year,” Schumer pleaded. “Make no mistake,
this year the Jewish American vote will make all the difference.“
In the JDCA newsletter,
Democrat political consultant Steve Sheffey shakily argued that,
“considering voting for Donald Trump because you’re concerned about
something Joe Biden did is like asking how the chicken is cooked. But
that’s what the loud low-information segment of our community is telling
us to do when they tell us to vote for Donald Trump.”
What he was really revealing was that there is a movement of Jews switching to Trump.
“There
are two types of people in our community: Those who desperately want to
believe the worst about Biden and those who feel relieved, not cheated,
to find out that in reality, Biden is good for Israel,” the Democrat
consultant condescendingly tried to persuade Jews.
Jews tend to
vote Democrat. Where did this sudden influx of Jews who “desperately
want to believe the worst about Biden” come from? They came from Biden’s
betrayal of the Jews.
And now Jewish Democrats are frantically lying, spinning and gaslighting Jews.
Schumer
wouldn’t have to tell Jews that they will make “all the difference”,
and the JDCA wouldn’t have to send out talking points for friends
thinking of voting Trump if it wasn’t happening. And rather than
honestly addressing it, Jewish Democrats have been gaslighting.
The
JDCA’s Sheffey insisted that Biden’s arm embargo was just “one
non-critical arms shipment designed to send a signal” after he had
previously promised that the “White House has no red lines that would
trigger restrictions on arms to Israel”. But now arms have to be
restricted because Israel finishing off Hamas was “a major disincentive
for Hamas to enter into any peace deal”.
And for any Jewish
Democrats still not convinced that by cutting off arms to Israel to
force a “peace deal” with the butchers and rapists of Oct 7, Biden had
Israel’s best interests at heart, he quoted Jennifer Rubin urging Jews
to “rethink knee-jerk objections to Biden’s efforts”.
There’s no
way that Biden is “trying to mollify some anti-Israel fringe in the
Democratic Party”, Sheffey insisted, even as the Hamas campus riots were
in full swing. “Biden’s support for Israel remains ironclad… The
Democratic Party remains staunchly pro-Israel. Good politicians know
their base. Biden has been in politics for decades. He knows his.” This
is wishful thinking.
He urged Jewish Democrats to ignore any
“references to arms embargoes, loving Hamas, betrayal” and to “delete
them and don’t engage — those people cannot be reasoned with.”
The
common theme among Biden loyalists is that American Jews should ignore
their eyes and ears, and stop being so picky, that they need to trust
the party and ignore all the red flags.
And yet after months of going on the offense against Trump, Dems are playing defense.
Jewish
Dems have been struggling to justify Biden’s betrayal and, like
Sheffey, they’re terrible at it. Forced to actually defend Biden’s
record, instead of just attacking Trump as a threat to democracy, they
flail, condescend, and insult their own base while trying to avert a
crisis.
And the crisis is a catastrophic Jewish loss of support for Biden.
Biden
was never popular among Jews. Many just voted the party line. But like
other parts of the Democrat base, including black and Latino voters, the
allegiance is fracturing under stress.
Facing blowback, the
Biden administration has dialed back its criticism of Israel, but there
are signs that this is a temporary maneuver meant to reassure Jews long
enough to win an election.
On a Project Veritas video,
Sterlin Waters, a National Security Council policy advisor told the
undercover reporter that “there’s a huge, powerful Jewish influence in
Republican and Democrat politics” and that Biden is waiting for a second
term to confront them and to oppose Israel.
Bill Ackman, a
liberal Democrat hedge fund manager, who had come out against Biden over
wokeness and his Israel policy, responded by tweeting, “Unmasking the
Biden administration Israel strategy. I respect his candor.” While some
Jews may be fooled, others are waking up.
And the Democrats are panicking because they’re in trouble with voters they’ve taken for granted since FDR. A poll from earlier this year found
that a majority of Jews in New York were backing Trump, and while he
won’t win New York, the Jewish vote twice helped him win Florida.
A
Voice of America story warned that “more Jews have been voting
Republican in recent elections” and that “Jewish voters could sway the
presidential election.”
Biden’s betrayal of Israel may end up costing him the election.
The political hack who calls himself
“the highest-ranking Jewish elected official in our government” took
half a year after Oct 7 to begin denouncing Israel’s war on Hamas.
Senator
Chuck Schumer stood at the Senate podium and laid out his vision of the
“four obstacles to peace”. These, according to the Senate Majority
Leader were, Hamas, “right wing Israelis”, PLO terrorist leader Mahmoud
Abbas and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Having
equated Israeli conservatives to Hamas, Schumer demanded that Israel
call a new election and remove its current government from power. And
if Israelis did not choose to obey, he warned that the “United States
will have no choice but to play a more active role in shaping Israeli
policy by using our leverage to change the present course.”
That is an obvious euphemism for anything from the withdrawal of aid to economic sanctions.
If
the Israelis vote wrongly again, the Biden administration “should use
the tools at its disposal to make sure our support for Israel is aligned
with our broader goal of achieving long-term peace and stability.”
Peace and stability paradoxically means a ‘Palestinian’ terrorist state.
What
did Netanyahu do wrong? According to Schumer, he won’t commit to a
terrorist state and insists on finishing off Hamas in Rafah. Or as
Schumer put it in his Orwellian tortured diction, he “won’t commit to a
military operation in Rafah that prioritizes protecting civilian life.”
The kind of operation the Biden administration has in mind is a few
targeted strikes on Hamas leaders when no civilians are around. That’s
the way we fought and lost in Afghanistan. Biden would like to turn
Israel into another Afghanistan with Hamas as the Taliban.
In plain language, Schumer is warning Israel to stop its war on Hamas or face sanctions.
The
subtext is that Schumer and the Jewish Democratic leadership have come
around to giving Hamas a pass in order to appease the Hamas supporters
of Dearborn, Michigan.
Schumer was more or less subtle about it
while the Jewish Democratic Council of America said the quiet part out
loud in its statement praising his speech “as we consider an end to this
conflict, which has taken far too many innocent lives.” That line could
have come from J Street.
In his speech, Schumer whined that he
was “anguished that the Israeli war campaign has killed so many innocent
Palestinians” and warned that “Israel has a moral obligation to do
better.” The leftist politician clamored that “what horrifies so many
Jews especially is our sense that Israel is falling short of upholding
these distinctly Jewish values.”
This familiar “as a Jew”
rhetoric is largely indistinguishable from that of anti-Israel groups
such as J Street and JVP except that Schumer still hedges somewhat by
blaming Hamas for it. Schumer even manages to suggest that proponents of
destroying Israel are motivated by “idealism”. Meanwhile, Jewish
opponents of a terrorist state are “offensive” and “extremist”.
The
political hack who calls himself “the highest-ranking Jewish elected
official in our government” took half a year after Oct 7 to begin
denouncing Israel’s war on Hamas.
But Schumer is hardly alone.
The JDCAhas made the same pivot. So have many Jewish Democrat officials
all responding to Biden’s call for a ‘Come to Jesus’ moment. The
actual call however is coming from another deity entirely who is
worshiped in Dearborn, Michigan.
Biden
is desperate to end the war in order to appease Muslim Democrats in
Michigan who have made no secret of their support for the terrorists.
And Schumer and the JDCA put party first. Their strategy of
‘Netanyahuizing’ the conflict is as dishonest as when Obama framed
opposition to his bailout of Iran’s terrorist regime in terms of
Netanyahu, not American Jews.
The JDCA wants an “end to this
conflict” and Schumer keeps claiming that he wants to see Hamas gone,
yet warns that any attempt to finish it off in Rafah is unacceptable.
The only acceptable answer to Oct 7, according to Biden, Schumer and the
Democrats is a terror state.
And, Schumer argued, if Israel
refuses to create a terror state, “then what reasonable expectation can
we have that Hamas and their allies will lay down their arms?”
What reasonable expectation should anyone ever have that Hamas will lay down its arms?
But
it’s a slip that reveals that the actual vision is not to defeat Hamas,
but to reach some phantom deal with it in which it will “lay down its
arms”. There are more slips throughout the speech for those who pay
close attention. “There can never be a two-state solution if Hamas has
any significant power,” Schumer says at one point. “Any proposal that
leaves Hamas with meaningful power is unacceptable to me and most all
Israelis.”
What do “meaningful” and “significant” amounts of power mean?
I previously reported on the Moscow summit
with the Palestinian Authority, Hamas, Islamic Jihad and other
terrorist groups where the various killers agreed to let the PA
represent the ‘Palestinian’ cause. This is part of a plan to put forward
a “technocratic” government that would not contain members of Hamas,
but which would still represent and take orders from Hamas.
Under such a false flag, Hamas would retain power without having an official role.
Senator
Schumer and the Democrats may deny that this is what they want, but the
simple fact is that nowhere in the extended speech does he call for the
defeat of Hamas. Schumer knows the term and used it in his speech on
antisemitism back in November, describing the “Israeli army’s action to
defeat Hamas in self-defense of their people,” Now defeating Hamas is
off the table.
Instead, Schumer concludes by praising “families
of the victims of October 7 who have been calling for peace, asking
their government to transcend the cycle of bloodshed and revenge.”
This is the new narrative.
Fighting
Hamas would be perpetuating the “cycle of bloodshed and revenge” while
giving the terrorists who murdered over a thousand people their own
state would be an act of peace.
As polls show the vast majority
of Israelis want to finish off Hamas, the self-proclaimed
“highest-ranking Jewish elected official in our government” threatens
that actions will be taken against them if they don’t vote for
pro-terrorist leftists and stop their struggle against Hamas.
The
Arab Muslim occupiers of Judea and Samaria, Schumer contends have their
“own distinct culture, identity, cuisine” and since they have their own
cuisine, the “idea espoused by some that “there is no such thing as
Palestinians” today is inaccurate, offensive, and unhelpful.'”
It’s accurate, but unfortunately offensive and unhelpful to winning Michigan in 2024.
Despite
polls showing that the overwhelming majority of Arab Muslims living in
the terrorist occupied territories support Hamas, support the atrocities
of Oct 7, and oppose peace, Senator Schumer and his Jewish Democrat
allies have decided to roll back the clock to Oct 6. To once again begin
pretending that there is an Arab Muslim constituency for peace and that
the moment Netanyahu and “right wing Israelis” get out of the way,
peace will arise out of thin air.
Schumer’s speech is cynical and
dishonest. It’s a betrayal of American and Jewish values. And it marks a
craven surrender to the supporters of Hamas inside his movement and his
party. After a few months of standing with Israel, the Dems, with the
exception of a handful of elected officials, like Sen. Jon Fetterman,
have come out against any further campaign to stop Hamas.
The terrorists may not have won in Israel, but they have triumphed within the Democratic Party.
There are two things the Democrats will have to use
in their campaign against trump, and that is abortion, and fascism. The trouble
is it's blatantly obvious more and more people are realizing it's the
Democrats who are the real fascists, and more and more people are finally realizing
abortion really isn't about health care, it's about murdering the
innocent unborn. That's why the Democrats will go all out on voter fraud in this election.
Joe Biden is vile beyond belief, and virtually everything he's done in the last three and a half years has been so destructive to America it can't be called anything short of treason. He support of Islamists, his economic policies, and his support of criminals, and his immigration polices are just the tip of the ice berg of corruption, incompetence, and treason.
For him to give billions to Iran is insane, and it really is treasonous. Schumer is
completely contemptible, or the man is completely insane. Either way,
he's disgusting, he's lying, and both he and Biden are traitors to western civilization.
Israel is the canary in the coal mine, this isn't like Ukraine where we
really don't have skin in that game. The real danger to western
civilization isn't from Russia, it's from Islam.
China has infiltrated, with the help of powerful Americans, just about every American institution working to destroy America. This TikTok issue highlights that to the tee, and I have no idea what's in Trump's mind not supporting the House bill trying to fix this.
I would like to point out all of these issues with Russia and China go back to WWII and the administration of Franklin Delano Roosevelt. His administration was considered the most heavily infiltrated government in the history of the world, and FDR had to know it, and supported it.

After police arrested a California leftist on a mission to assassinate
Justice Kavanaugh, the Biden administration finally condemned the

Gorsuch as “dangerous … violent rhetoric.” He added, “you can see what unhinged people are willing to do.” At the Capitol on June 9, CNS News asked Senator Hawley,
“Majority Leader Schumer publicly declared in 2020 that Justices Gorsuch
and Kavanaugh had ‘released the whirlwind’ and ‘won’t know what hit
them’ if they joined an opinion limiting abortion. Was that appropriate

Joe Biden’s White House intentionally fanned the flames of the
violent, irate political left after the recent Democrat leak of a
Supreme Court opinion, as well as the latest Uvalde school shooting. The
result has been an attempt on the life of a Supreme Court Justice.
In amongst the political fracas, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is said
to be holding up a Senate bill which would grant more security for
Supreme Court justices. The U.S. Senate fast tracked the new security plans after Democrat extremists leaked an expected Roe v. Wade
opinion from the court in May, but Pelosi has thus far refused to bring
the legislation up for a vote in the House, stalling more security for
Supreme Court justices.
Would-be assassin Nicholas John Roske is believed to have been
radicalized by far-left reactions to the abortion issue, as well as the
shooting in Uvalde. The aspiring gunman is said to have had a Glock 17
handgun, a knife, pepper spray, zip ties, a nail punch, a crow bar and a
hammer, and said he found Kavanaugh’s address on the internet. And while President Biden himself has failed to condemn the attempted
attack, a White House spokesman tepidly said that “any violence,
threats of violence, or attempts to intimidate justices have no place in

A deranged Leftist made an attempt on Brett Kavanaugh's life.The radical claimed he was frustrated with "mass shooting" and "abortion rights". And now, a pro-abortion group is threatening to rally outside Justice Kavanaugh's home. What they're doing isn't just wrong, it's a federal crime.

is Schumer putting Russia’s interests ahead of those of the United
States by blocking Nord Stream 2 sanctions on Putin’s pet pipeline into
Europe?
Schumer,
along with a number of other top Democrats, is a beneficiary of
campaign contributions from top Democrat fundraiser Vincent Roberti
whose lobbying firm was paid over $8.5 million by Nord Stream 2 which is owned by Putin's state-run Gazprom energy monopoly.
Roberti,
a former Dem politician, has maxed out his donations to Schumer and to
Rep. Eric Swalwell, who may have been cheating on Fang Fang with
Vladimir, and threw in a generous $171,000 to the DCCC, as part of the
over $545,000 donated to the Democrat political machine.
The top Dem bundler is reportedly
lobbying on “issues related to the U.S. position toward the Nord Stream
2 pipeline, including potential financial sanctions affecting the
project.”
Suddenly, Schumer, who was accusing the GOP and Trump
of being in bed with Putin, and demanding that they vote on sanctions,
was refusing to hold a floor vote on Russia sanctions.
“Millions
of Americans will continue to wonder if the only possible explanation
for this dangerous behavior is the possibility that President Putin
holds damaging information over President Trump,” Schumer had smeared
back then. What damaging info does Putin have on Chuck?
President
Trump, at the time, had urged that, “we should start an immediate
investigation” into Schumer’s ties with Russia, and described him as a
“total hypocrite”. That is an understatement.
Three years ago,
Schumer was clamoring that putting off sanctions on Russia, “is an
extreme dereliction of duty by President Trump, who seems more intent on
undermining the rule of law of this country than standing up to Putin.”
That describes Schumer in a nutshell.
But not just Schumer.
“With
him, all roads lead to Putin,” Pelosi had ranted. “I don't know what
the Russians have on the president, politically, personally, or
financially.”
Roberti plowed $46,100 into Pelosi's Victory Fund. He also appears to have maxed out his contributions to the House Majority Leader and gave $5,000 to her PAC to the Future.
That’s not too shocking since Pelosi toasted Roberti and his wife at their wedding.
“Trump
denial of Russian collusion rotten at core and doomed to unravel,”
Senator Richard Blumenthal had tweeted. “Expect more serious convictions
and indictments early in 2018 as the Special Counsel climbs the ladder
of criminal culpability.”
The serious convictions and indictments, along with the criminal culpability, unraveled.
Meanwhile Roberti maxed out his donations to Blumenthal.
"Yet
another reason to call for an independent prosecutor into the
#TrumpRussia ties," Senator Catherine Cortez Masto tweeted after having
accused President Trump of endangering national security.
Roberti also maxed out his contributions to Masto.
Senator Patty Murray had called for "a special prosecutor to examine the Trump campaign's ties to Russia".
Murray,
like Schumer and Mastro, got the maximum amount from the Nord Stream 2
lobbyist, along with Senator Maggie Hassan, who had also demanded a
special prosecutor for Trump.
Senator Cory Booker alleged that President Trump had "betrayed" his role and that he was "weak and submissive" to Putin.
The New Jersey hack, who always has one hand out, got a cool grand from Roberti.
But
the real lobbying effort to stop the Nord Stream 2 sanctions is coming
out of the Biden White House with top associates of the notoriously
corrupt politician pushing Senate Dems to let Putin have his pipeline.
And that’s after Biden shut down the Keystone XL pipeline for America.
Biden falsely claimed that waiving sanctions on Putin's pipeline was in “U.S. national interests."
Roberti is a longtime Biden pal who boasts of having advised him on his 2008 presidential bid and reportedly flew him out to his hometown during the campaign.
Another
Biden donor and lobbyist working for the foreign companies that
partnered on Nord Stream 2 signed a check to Biden’s victory fund that
Democrats refused to return until they were shamed into doing so by the New York Post.
“Where
are the Republicans who know in their heart the president is giving
away the store to Vladimir Putin?” Schumer had demanded.
Where are the Democrats who know Biden is giving away the store? Cashing their checks.
Secretary
of State Blinken claimed that refusing to sanction Putin's pipeline
would “rebuild relationships with our allies and partners in Europe.”
Had a Trump administration cabinet member said something like that, we'd
already be in the middle of three investigations, one by the FBI,
another by the CIA, and a third by Rep. Adam Schiff's poolboy, but no
one cares now.
After years in which Schumer could talk about
nothing so much as Putin, he hardly has anything to say about the
Russian ruler over the past year. That’s understandable considering that
Biden joined Putin’s phony arms pact when President Trump wouldn’t do
it, and refused to sanction Nord Stream 2. If Schumer has anything to
say about Putin now, it’s, “Da, Comrade.”
There’s no more talk of
special prosecutors and no suggestions that Putin is rigging elections.
Not when a lobbyist for a Swiss company owned by the Putin regime is
signing the checks.
There are no more of Schumer’s “ominous questions” when the answers are all too clear.
