On July 26, two white men were captured on a viral video being savagely punched and kicked by a group of black men and women in Cincinnati. So, the Biden campaign has been a mess right along, and truth be told, so too was it in the 2020, and the reason why was Joe Biden's brain was mush then, and it's mushier now.

He was in Delaware after his short visit to Michigan—are you serious? The entire calendar should be filled with campaign events in battleground states—it’s not. The only thing Democrats ever had is unwarranted hate filled attacks on Trump, his supporters, conservatives, Christians, traditional Jews, traditional values, Catholics, Israel, whites, and parents.    It's been a Democrat Jihad against America, Trump was just in the way, so destroying the rule of law was their corrupt plan to destroy Trump, and Americans who believe in the traditional values that made America great. 

But now there's been an attempt to assassinate Trump, so now they're on a "unity" crusade.  Imagine that!  And how's that working out?

Biden does the usual verbal clabber saying he hasn't engaged in inciting violence, he's just telling the world Trump is a ‘threat to democracy’.  Well, the evolution of Democrat Jihad against Donald Trump "occurred predictably, from less bloody to more bloody methods".............  "Many hoped Biden would finally apologize for years of lies that Trump is a modern-day Hitler and a threat to democracy.  Biden could announce the end of Trump’s political persecution.  Instead, there was another embarrassing speech by an ersatz president who tried to cling to power with his quivering hands."

So, who's fault is all this leftist violence going on in America?  Just ask them, it's not their fault, it's Trump's fault.  While he's the victim of violence, he should have denounced violence.  Well the fact is conservatives, including Trump, have been denouncing the lefts tolerance of promoting of crime and violence that now permeates America major cities for years, and were called racists, xenophobes, and worse.

This call for unity is nothing more than a public relation ploy by the Democrats.  The Assassination Attempt Changes Nothing!  They recognize the damage this attempt on Trump's life has done to their greedy hold on power.  But they can never back down because they have nothing to offer but corruption, destruction of the rule of law, deep state tyranny, bad economics, bad immigration, and cultural destruction as their platform.  That leaves only hate, so they can't back down.   

That's the Democrat version of unity!

There are many here in Ohio who really disliked Vance for his Trump Derangement Syndrome statements, and even with this Road to Damascus epiphany, doubts still exists, so he addressed his past criticism of Trump saying:

“You texted a friend that Trump is a cynical a-hole like Nixon who wouldn’t bet that bad and might even prove useful, and that he’s America’s Hitler, you compared him to cultural heroin in The Atlantic monthly,”....“I don’t hide from that,”..... “I was certainly skeptical of Donald Trump in 2016. But President Trump was a great president, and he changed my mind. I think he changed the minds of a lot of Americans because, again, he delivered that peace and prosperity.” ..... I “bought into the media’s lies and distortions…into this idea that somehow he was going to be so different, a terrible threat to democracy. It was a joke.” 

Was this a true Road to Damascus epiphany? Well, we'll see, but the outrage by the lefts indicates it is.  They're brand of unity.

Where The Violence Really Rests

The calls for, and promotion of violence, including political violence rests totally and completely in the camp of Democrats as shown by in this article discussing Victor Davis Hanson's condemnation of the left's sickness for normalizing violence, saying:

 He further criticized leftist media outlets like the New Republic, which recently depicted Trump as Hitler on its cover, suggesting such portrayals could incite “unhinged” or young individuals to commit acts of violence, believing they would be “applauded” for stopping a mass murderer and dictator.

By the left's unending rant that Trump is a Nazi fascist they promote the idea he deserves to die to the young and dumb filling them with hate, when in reality, it's the left who embrace and emulate Nazis. They're version of unity.  

Why Do They Hate Trump?

He's intending to do what he did in his first term, eliminate a lot of bad and/or unnecessary regulations, and with the recent SCOTUS ruling on the Chevron Doctrine that will be much easier, and purge the deep state.  the federal government has no business telling us what cars we should buy, and their unending need to spend and tax the nation to death, literally.

And none of the terrible things Bernie Sanders and his insane cabal predicted would happen...happened.  There are 22 million Americans working for the federal government, all sitting around thinking up new ways to control Americans.  They need purged.  The left detests that.

We’re no longer a new nation, and Trump isn’t known for his humility. However, his vision, his courage, his pugnacious nature, his ability not to let his goals overwhelm his short-term strategic plans and tactics, and his political savvy, which was burnished in the crucible of the last eight years, promise that he can return our nation to its constitutional roots and free the American people from the tyranny of Big Government and Woke culture.

If Trump dismantles the Deep State, fires and/or prosecutes those in leadership roles who've committed crimes, their power is gone, and they will do anything to prevent that, including assassinate Trump.  They're overriding emotion isn't just hate, it's fear driven hate.  That's their version of unity.

The Unity Charade

For my regular readers it's known I owned a pest control company,  and for many years I served actively on four of our state association trade associations.  I was also privileged to be a part of our state trade association's Governmental Affairs Committee.  There were five permanent members who didn't always agree on tactics, what we always agreed on were our goals.  Culture is king, and our culture was harmonious because our values were harmonious, as a result we accomplished a great deal of good for our industry.  

Now that there's been an attempt to assassinate Trump the Democrats are on a "unity" crusade.  Imagine that!  And how's that working out?  It will fail, miserably, as it's nothing more than a lying PR ploy to cover their hate.

I think the best article I've seen dealing with this was American Thinker writer, Jack Hellner, who I think is one of the best writers out there, in his article After our president nearly took a bullet to the head, the Democrats want cooler heads to prevail, outlining in 34 bullet points just how ludicrous that is, which I'm paraphrasing here.  To see the entire piece follow the link.

Stop ignoring the Constitution when appointing special prosecutors, stop ignoring immigration laws, and sanctuary cities and states are in violation of federal law and need to be prosecuted. Stop claiming the President has the power to eliminate student loans, and that Roe v Wade was a Constitutional right.   

Stop trying to destroy the Supreme Court, explain tax cuts helped everyone and brought in more revenue to the government, and insisting on voters getting a voter ID isn't racism.  January sixty wasn't an insurrection.  Accept these covid pandemic laws violated the Constitution, and stop silencing and publishing those who said so and refused to be intimidated.  Stop pandering to teacher's unions, who are destroy our children's future, and stop all this "white privilege" nonsense.  

End the "all things are racist" insanity, abortion is the murder of the unborn innocent, there really are only two genders. Men can't get pregnant, and have no place in women's locker rooms or competing with actual women.   Stop pandering to criminals refusing to prosecute them and finding ways to make their criminal activity normal.  Energy independence is essential, and Biden didn't inherent a recession he created one, and Biden's, and the Democrat's foreign policies are a disaster.  Purge the deep state and punish those 51 liars who claimed Hunter Biden's laptop was a Russian conspiracy.

Those are the facts, and if we want unity, those need to be agreed to.  There can be no harmony where there are no shared values.   The mayor of Chicago want to remove George Washington statue from city hall.  I guess that is his solution to all the violent crime and murder in Chicago.  The once greatest military the world has ever known has become politicized, corrupted, and inadequate under Biden and the DOD and the military hierarchy. 

The Stakes Are Higher Than Ever: Choosing Trump for America’s Future - The guy who pumped his fist into the air after getting shot in the ear—surviving a bullet meant for his brain—is definitely the one you want answering tough phone calls about international relations.......

Culture is king, and if our culture isn't harmonious, it's because our values aren't harmonious.  If someone hates you and says they want you dead, you should believe them. The left is insane, ergo, there can be no unity with the left.

In 2021, Joe Biden opened wide an inherited, secure southern border that had finally stopped mass illegal immigration.  When he overturned Donald Trump’s efforts, a planned flood of over 8 million illegal immigrants entered the U.S.  Almost all arrived without background checks, health screening, or vaccination certificates—but with massive needs for free housing, education, healthcare, and food entitlements and subsidies.  For four years, Donald Trump battled the courts, his Democratic opposition, and the open-border establishments within his own party to ensure legal-only immigration. Somehow, he rebuilt some of the old porous border fence. He had begun to build his long-promised new wall to the Gulf of Mexico. He had ended Obama-era catch-and-release.

Would-be refugees had to apply for asylum in their home country. Trump leveraged Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador to police his own border and stop cynically transiting millions of illegal aliens into the U.S. There was general Democratic Party opposition to all of Trump’s measures, both through Congress and via the courts. For the last three years of Biden’s mass influx, the left has applauded open borders. That is, until late last year, when overwhelmed southern border state governors began busing and flying illegal.  For years, these sanctuary zones had preened their liberality about open borders. They smeared as “racists” and “xenophobes” any who insisted on legal-only immigration.

But now they were subject to the real-life ramifications of their own destructive ideologies.

Major blue-state cities like Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Washington, D.C., became outraged that they were inundated with tens of thousands of immigrants, all without legality, veritable identification, or background checks. Some proved violent. Others crowded out scarce resources essential to millions of inner-city poor. The liberal architects of illegal immigration are usually rich and powerful enough to be insulated from the consequences of their utopian policies.

But not so their poor or minority constituents. They deal first-hand with spiking crime, appropriation of their parks and civic centers, and restricted access to now overwhelmed social services.  So the once open-border Democrat Party and Joe Biden are in a quandary. They now fear mass defections of core Latino and Black voters in an election year.  But how can they square the circle of insisting on open borders with the need to appear to their own voters as determined to close them?

We saw the absurd answer this week. Shameless Democrats tried to enlist naïve and foolish Republicans to bail them out with a “comprehensive immigration bill.”  It was really designed to keep the border open while spending billions of dollars to facilitate more rapid and orderly transits—and more substantial welfare support for millions of illegals here and still to come.  Now Democrats, in lunatic fashion, claim that anyone who did not sign on to codify and regulate illegal immigration was responsible for their own deliberate open border policies in the first place!

To add insult to injury, they next sought to piggyback their toxic immigration bill onto massive aid for Israel and Ukraine. It was a transparent effort to blame any Republicans for harming Israel and aiding Putin, should they not sign on to a more efficient open border.

The real agendas of the bill’s supporters were absolutely no return to Trump’s legal-only immigration and a secure border.

That simple solution requires no new legislation and almost no new spending. But it does imply acknowledgement that the hated Trump had solved the problem executively—and that admission is apparently taboo.

Finally, public outrage from the left and conservative anger at foolish and naïve Republican enablers stopped the bill.

Still, it remains somewhat unclear why Biden and his Homeland Security chief, Alejandro Mayorkas, destroyed what Trump had achieved. Why would they ensure such misery for both American hosts and millions of illegal immigrants?

Did they want new long-term constituents, given that their neo-socialist agendas cannot win over a majority of current Americans?

My Take - Ya gotta give it to these misfit leftists.  There is no level of hypocrisy they can't embrace, and there's no level of integrity they will embrace.  If truth and time refute their claims, they simply ignore it or claim it never happened.  There's no logical fallacy they're not claim is reality, and no lie so great they'll not embrace.   Just like the modern Stalin apologists who claim that no one killed all those millions of people in Russia, and if millions did die; it wasn't Stalin's fault.  But if millions did die, and Stalin did order those deaths; it was because he was trying to save millions more from the maniacs within his government. Accordingly, Stalin and Baria, his chief of the secret police, were in reality the heroes, not the villains, and that all the evidence to the contrary constitutes a conspiracy of lies.

The media and others continually said Ian was the deadliest hurricane in Florida in over 90 years, as if that is a meaningful statistic. They say that Ian was caused by manmade climate change. Of course, they gave zero scientific evidence to support that statement, because there is none, but the indoctrination continues.  Only one of the deadliest 24 hurricanes in the U.S has occurred after 1970. Eight of the deadliest occurred before 1900.

There has never been a correlation between temperatures, sea levels, and storm activity and the use of energy related natural resources. House Democrats Cancel Looming Embarrassment With Oil Executives

They finally realized they (not Big Oil executives) would be humiliated by reality

Mike Tyson once observed, everyone has a plan until they get punched in the mouth.

March 8 was to be anti-oil Democrats’ big day. Having pilloried Big Oil executives during two previous hearings over supposed climate change prevention failures, House Oversight Committee leaders had planned to really tighten the thumbscrews.

At their October 2021 hearing, committee chair Carolyn Maloney (D-NY) and chief inquisitor Ro Khanna (D-CA) insisted that Big Oil commit to reducing US oil and gas production by 3-4% annually (50-70% total by 2050). Otherwise, they claimed, global temperatures will rise 1.5 degrees Celsius (calculated from the end of the Little Ice Age and beginning of the Industrial Revolution, both around 1850) – which “the science” says would be an “existential threat” to Planet Earth.

“I don’t need” an “American apple pie speech” about “meeting the needs of society,” Mr. Khanna told ExxonMobil CEO Darren Woods. Will Exxon reduce production? Yes or no? the congressman demanded.

During the February 8, 2022 hearing, the two legislators demanded that oil companies “live up to” the “climate pledges” they have made. Shell and BP, they said, have promised to go net-zero on all their greenhouse gas emissions. However, ExxonMobil and Chevron pledges apply only to emissions associated with drilling and production operations.

That is completely inadequate, Maloney and Khanna argued. Not only do these two American companies not “plan to reduce their oil production by a single drop.” Their pledge ignores the “whopping 90%” of emissions that come from consumers burning the fuels they produce. The pledges and legislators also ignore emissions from China, India and other countries, which dwarf US emissions many times over.

The two companies should have diversified into “clean renewable” energy. That’s how they can lower people’s heating bills and prices at the pump, and climate-killing emissions, the legislators suggested.

Of course, Mr. Khanna added, in a sudden about-face, he supports President Biden’s “decisive actions” to help lower gas prices,” by asking OPEC, Saudi Arabia and Russia to increase oil production and “calling on all oil companies to temporarily increase production.” (Foreign oil doesn’t emit greenhouse gases?)

The legislators promised to hold a third hearing on March 8, when they would interrogate oil company executives “under oath,” “aggressively investigate” the industry’s role in fueling “the climate crisis,” and demand that oil companies “stop funding climate disinformation.” The March hearing would be Big Oil’s “last chance to cooperate” with Congress, Ms. Maloney warned ominously.

Enter Mike Tyson, in the form of skyrocketing energy and food prices – and bullets and missiles flying in Ukraine. The chairwoman abruptly canceled the inquisition mere days before it was to be held. She and her Democrat colleagues clearly didn’t want to be humiliated by unfolding events and the grilling they would likely receive from Republicans, witnesses and their constituents. Realities can be troublesome.

Even as post-Covid demand surged in an America and world that still rely on oil, gas and coal for 80% of their energy, Congressional Democrats, the White House, federal agencies and activist groups worked in consort to cancel pipelines, impose leasing and drilling moratoriums, slow-walk permits, and pressure financial institutions to stymie funding for oil and gas operations.

As they choked off production and supplies, oil, natural gas and gasoline prices nearly doubled during Mr. Biden’s first year in office. The price of food and nearly all consumer products and services soared in response. Salaries are being hammered by inflation. Consumers (aka voters) voiced their outrage.

Then Russian forces invaded Ukraine, slaughtering civilians and sending millions fleeing to neighboring countries. President Biden continued importing 670,000 barrels of Putin crude oil and refined products every day. Gasoline hit $7 per gallon in some cities the day the hearing was to be held.

Finally, right when the congressional inquisition would have been underway, Mr. Biden finally issued an executive order banning imports of Russian crude oil, refined products and natural gas. Congress signaled it might codify the ban into law. Global oil prices shot to $110 per barrel.

The President could have told his federal regulators to get agency boots off the necks of American exploration, production and pipeline companies – and start expediting permits. He could have told climate activists, banks and financial institutions to pause their war on fossil fuels.

Instead, he’s still trying to persuade Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Putin ally Venezuela to increase their oil production, to keep prices from skyrocketing further. He’s still using Russia to broker a new nuclear deal with Iran, thereby permitting the Islamist regime to sell more oil on the global market!

Amid cries of “Putin Price Hikes,” the Biden Administration and congressional Democrats continue to obsess over the “climate crisis” and promote a rapid “transition” to “renewable” energy.

It’s an exercise in distraction and magical thinking. Wind and sunshine are certainly clean and renewable. However, harnessing this widely dispersed, weather-dependent energy to meet huge and growing US and global energy needs requires millions of wind turbines, billions of solar panels, billions of battery modules and thousands of miles of new transmission lines that need enormous quantities of metals and minerals, which are absolutely not clean, renewable or sustainable.

Indeed, just Mr. Biden’s initial 30,000 megawatts of offshore wind energy would require 110,000 tons of copper – plus massive amounts of cobalt, lithium, nickel, aluminum, steel, rare earth elements and other materials. Getting just the copper would require mining 25 million tons of ore. But federal bureaucrats and judges have already shut down three proposed U.S. copper mines. Again, that’s just the copper.

How many tons of metals, minerals, ores and overburden will be required overall for wind turbines, solar panels, battery modules, transformers and transmission lines in an all-electricity Green New Deal economy? How much fossil fuel energy to do all this work? Where will the mining, processing and manufacturing take place? (Alaska, California and Colorado? Or China, Russia and Africa?)

How much environmental destruction, and child and slave labor, will be involved? What will these materials cost, as demand surges? How much land and wildlife will be impacted by the mining, factories, and industrial wind, solar and battery installations as far as the eye can see?

Green New Dealers don’t have a clue, and don’t care. They also figure they will be exempted from the “inconveniences.” We will be the ones paying. We ought to care. The amounts are truly mind-boggling. For clues about the almost unfathomable impacts and costs, look here, here, here, here and here.

Europe and the United States already have minimal leverage (and credibility) over China and Russia on diplomatic matters, territorial ambitions – or open warfare. The vaunted Green New Deal would likely make America almost totally reliant on Chinese and Russian companies for “renewable” energy materials.

Media, academia and federal agencies are already populated by anti-fossil-fuel stalwarts. But making matters worse, Putin cronies have long funded clandestine money laundering operations to finance major disinformation campaigns by US and EU environmentalist groups, to undermine drilling, fracking and pipeline programs. The US Senate “Billionaires’ Club” report, Environmental Policy Alliance’s “From Russia with Love” analysis, articles by investigative journalists Ron Arnold and Lachlan Markay (here and here), and studies by the US National Intelligence Director and US House Science Committee provide extensive, disturbing details that Democrats in Congress and the Administration have ignored.

The Ukraine invasion is prompting renewed attention to these nefarious activities benefitting the Sea Change Foundation, Sierra Club, Climate Action Network, NRDC and other groups.

The Maloney-Khanna Oversight Committee should investigate these money laundering and Green New Deal mining, cost and ecological issues – and leave the “climate crisis” and “price-gouging” fantasies to Hollywood horror and conspiracy movies. But don’t hold your breath.

COVID has Replaced Climate Change as the Religion of the Left

Religion is a belief system based on a combination of logic and faith, mostly beyond the realm of what can be proven scientifically. A dictionary definition is, “Religion is belief in a god or gods and the activities that are connected with this belief, such as praying or worshiping in a building such as a church or temple.”

Or in simpler terms, religion can create order and meaning in a random and chaotic world. Religion is also strongly held and deeply personal, not something tossed aside based on the words of a government, politician, or celebrity.

For decades, communism was the primary religion of the left. Abuse of power and the tag-along charge of Obstruction of Congress tend to get sitting presidents in hot water. Even the mere rumor of said executive misbehavior can lead to a long, exhaustive, drug-out circus of politicians shouting over one another for months during the drama-fatiguing, eye-rolling program of factless pontificating. That is unless it’s Joe Biden, the current squatter in the Oval Office, the man every west winger and activist media member shields after he commits egregious errors.

Remember way back in 2019 when House Democrats strung up President Donald Trump in the first impeachment hearing?  Leftists were spitting a litany of rumors and innuendos to get to the bottom of whether the president did or did not leverage military aid to Ukraine if they would investigate Biden for basically doing the same. As Liberty Nation Managing Editor Mark Angelides wrote about the exchange between Biden and the Ukrainian government: “Joe Biden himself has openly admitted that he told Ukrainian officials to remove a prosecutor in exchange for a billion dollars in loans. What’s more, he also implicated President Obama in the Quid Pro Quo.”

Two exhausting years later, Biden has again attempted to pressure another world leader to do his bidding and make his seemingly addled decisions appear genius. On July 23, the U.S. president had a little chat on the phone with Afghanistan’s President Ashraf Ghani. According to initial reporting by Reuters, Biden intimated his Afghan counterpart should paint a rosy picture:

“I need not tell you the perception around the world and in parts of Afghanistan, I believe, is that things are not going well in terms of the fight against the Taliban. And there is a need, whether it is true or not, there is a need to project a different picture.”

The president pressed on weightily, suggesting having a presser with the former Afghan President Hamid Karzai. Ghani replied: “Karzai would not be helpful. He is contrary, and time is of the essence; we cannot bring every single individual … Last time we met for 110 minutes, he was cursing me, and he was accusing me of being a U.S. lackey.”

Our fearless leader replied: “I’m going to reserve judgment on that.” Seriously.

It appears Ghani was envisioning the impending chaos early and decided to boot scoot on out of Afghanistan to seclusion. Or as Arizonan Leon Coleman commented, “Ghani showed up at the airport with four carloads of cash & the scam was off. Was this another quid pro quo?”

To the Rescue

As the activist media barely acknowledges the telephone exchange, the redhead came to the rescue during a White House presser. During a Wednesday briefing, one brave soul asked if her boss was “in any way pushing a false narrative in that call with the Afghan president.”

Press Secretary Psaki’s face seemed to become a hue akin to her hair. Then, skipping a beat, she replied, “I think it’s pretty clear, again, I’m not going to go into details of a private conversation.”

One Hoosier queried, “Hey Jen. Want to circle back?” Jack Posobiac posted one of her tweets from when she was an “analyst” for a cable news station. On September 24, 2019, Jen let her fingers do the talking when she addressed the now-infamous phone call between former President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. It reads: “It is not just the call transcript. The whistleblower complaint would likely have more details. We need both. And not just the call.”

Wow, that online history is unfortunate.

Quid Pro Quo

Biden and Ghana spoke for roughly 14 minutes on July 23: One wanted assurance of help when the feces hit the fan blades, and the other wanting to be praised and glorified. “That will change perception, and that will change an awful lot, I think,” Biden said. Now the president’s words are coming back to bite him as the debacles pile up in the West Wing.

 

These Democrats Deserve Your Contempt

You shouldn’t write angry, but deadlines don’t wait for calm….........Every single one of them, all of them, every leftist out there…right now, I absolutely despise them all. I’m not proud of it, but it is what it is. Were I a better person, maybe I could tone it down to extreme dislike, but I’m not a better person tonight. While there’s never a good week with leftists in charge, this week has been particularly bad and I wish them all ill.

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo made it to the weekend and will likely go nowhere, ultimately. Republicans will continue to attack him, which will eventually cause leftists to rally around him. Noted racist and homophobe Joy Reid came to Cuomo’s defense because she’s a bad person. 

Within 30 seconds of talking about the scandal, Reid managed to make it about Donald Trump because she’s an intellectual lightweight and obedient dog to the liberal establishment. Were she not, she wouldn’t have a job. Her past anti-gay writings and lies about them being the result of a hack would’ve destroyed most people, but she’s quick to cry racism and that scares MSNBC. Half their programming is calling everyone else a racist, their audience is conditioned to believe the charge. The rest of the country thanks to this business model, now tune it out, it having been sapped of all its power. It’s why the left started using “white supremacy” more often. It’s just as dumb, just as meaningless and empty, but the people they’ve made numb to “racist” haven’t adjusted their cynicism yet.

Another annoyance is the blatant violation of his oath of office by our senile, hair-sniffing, kid-rubbing puppet of a president. After repeatedly admitting he didn’t have the authority to extend the eviction moratorium, he did it anyway. Because why not? One reason why I remain optimistic about the impending end of wokism and the failure of the cultural revolution is that the dangers they pose are unsustainable. And by that I mean that they require such dissimulation, that the load of lies eventually will snap the spine of those asked to carry and disseminate them.

Joe Biden last week gave a series of speeches, answers and riffs that were nonsensical. By that I don’t just mean that he has no clue about how to arrest inflation, or the dangers of a spiraling violent crime rate or of an open border. 

The problem is that he increasingly cannot finish a sentence and at times seems entirely incoherent. And the media, the Left, and the Democratic party—all once so eager to seek Trump’s removal as unhinged, and all but forced to take the Montreal Cognitive Assessment, or the target of a supposedly wired-up Rod Rosenstein, or diagnosed in absentia as nuts by Yale Professor Bandy Lee—seem determined to hide, but cannot, the all too obvious truth.

Why? They know there is no comparable alternative media that can replace their celebratory lies by the reality of Biden’s insidious dementia? The specter that Kamala Harris is unpalpable even to Democrats? The more Biden performs the role of an empty vessel, the more neo-Marxism can be poured into it? They are desperate and panicked at Biden’s decline, but have no viable alternatives other than masking his cognitive challenges, and so will lie to the bitter end?

But Biden’s performance or lack of it is not sustainable. By 2022 his lack of cognitive ability won’t be hidden. The public will know that it was lied to in the fashion of Edith Wilson assuring the country that a bedridden and near speechless Woodrow Wilson was completely fit to continue his duties as president. 

Borderlash?

An open border will take years to fix. We will suffer a trillion-dollars in entitlement costs, and legal, education, food, housing and transportation assistance to accommodate the 8-10 million who during this administration will cross illegally into the United States. 

But an open border cannot be hidden by the media forever. The consequences of allowing those in whose first act is to break US law, second is to reside illegally in the US, and third is to fabricate identification to perpetuate their illegal residence will force Americans finally to close the border. If there is a fairness to impeachment, then Joe Biden certainly has by its standard violated his oath of office to “faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States” by simply allowing or indeed encouraging law-breaking on a massive scale.

So far Biden has offered no defense of his open-border policy other than to blame Trump’s closed-border policy and cry “Racism!” The Democratic Party is ever so slowly alienating tens of thousands of voters of all races, religions and ethnicities, and seems oblivious in their arrogance to the sort of comeuppance on the horizon. 

One reason why tribalism will cease is that it is unsustainable and that all other groups are starting to see where it leads and want no part of it. “La Raza” seems to have lost much of its resonance, the more, in counter-intuitive fashion, Latinos enter the US illegally and alienate US citizens of Hispanic ancestry. 

Why? Three reasons. One, the wages of illegal immigration—gangs, crime, overtaxed social services, poorer schools—fall most heavily on Hispanic-American citizens. 

Two, shouting about skin color or language or place of origin is not as common among the Latino middle classes as is now considering voting conservative for the first time in their lives—a fact known to and feared by the Left. In California, oppressive income, sales, and gas taxes, terrible roads, water shortages, failed high-speed rail, unchecked fires, sky-high fuel and energy costs, and dismal schools are not conducive for welcoming in millions to further tax state social services.

Three, there is no such thing as an omnipotent, omnipresent nefarious “whiteness.” In my seven-decade life in the Central Valley, most of the racism I saw and heard, at least after 1970, was among Mexican-Americans—the majority of the population and of two types: one directed at darker, more indigenous immigrants from south of Mexico City, and in particular aimed at African-Americans. Implicit tribalism is now seen as ecumenical in getting an edge in admissions or hiring, but explicit tribalism in which tribes act out their violent chauvinism is quite another, and far more dangerous, phenomenon. If we are to self-select by superficial appearance, there will be no rainbow coalition of the nonwhite, but a bellum omnium contra omnes. I think most accept that bleak trajectory if present trends don’t cease.

Moreover, if it remains acceptable to talk of intrinsic “whiteness” that forever brands, in a near genetic sense, its accursed, then soon the tribal mentality will extend to everyone as it becomes permissible to talk of “brownness” and “blackness” and Asian-ness”—as collective stereotypes. 

The United States of Yugoslavia?

We new Yugoslavians will soon be assessed by not just our superficial appearances but the sum total of our resulting stereotyped good and bad victimization and victimizing. When Secretary of Defense Gen. Lloyd Austin defends his woke racial internal audits, and states that the US military should in all respects look like and mirror image US demography, does that extend to the battlefield? 

By that I mean white males currently make up about 35 percent of the US population, at least to the degree in our multiracial society anyone is really white or black or brown. 

So in our multiracial, and male and female military, are we to expect that whites will be 35 percent of those to die in Afghanistan and Iraq, in proper proportional numbers? 

Will General Austin’s mentality become so entrenched that at some point in such wars, he or his successor would say, “I’m pulling back racial group A, because it has met its quota of death on the battlefield.” 

Translated such a Woke Chair of the Joint Chiefs would say, “Whoops, 82 percent of the combat deaths in Iraq were white males and that doesn’t begin to look like America where they are only 35 percent.” 

Or “Dammit, why was I not told that 85 percent of our combat dead in Afghanistan are white males. And that sure as hell does not look like America?”

Is that our collective future?

Most Americans more or less support the idea of natural diversity; that is, within general parameters, professions, jobs, and down time reflect a multiracial society. They don’t get worked up that Asians are overrepresented in many of the medical professions, or whites in Wall Street and Silicon Valley or blacks in the NBA, NFL and MLB. But once any one particular group insists that all professions must be either proportionally represented or now disproportionally represented, without regard to demonstrable merit—or else!—as a way of providing reparatory action for supposed historical sins, watch tensions rise. 

Professional sports are bleeding viewers not because whites are a majority in the country, but a distinct minority in professional sports. The culprit instead is the fact that athletes are becoming politically weaponized. Translated, I mean it is unprofitable and unsustainable for multimillion-dollar-a-year players, who do not “reflect” percentage-wise the demography of America, to scream, demonstrate, or virtue signal their charges of racism against a largely middle class, less well-off viewership, on the sheer basis of their skin color, not on any demonstrable racist act. 

So we have almost reached peak wokism. To continue the arc leading to tribalism will unravel the county and I think the majority of all races will not tolerate that. 

I have friends who are Latino or black, and when in the spirit of the times, a very few have interjected “As a Latina” or as “a black man,” I sometimes answer, well “as a white guy,” and usually either laughter or anger or stupefaction follows, almost as in “How ridiculous you sound identifying by race.” OK—but it is either always or never stupid to virtue signal anyone’s race, but not sometimes.

Imagine after Barack Obama’s dramatic victory in 2008—with a greater tally of white voters than John Kerry earned in 2004—if someone had emulated the now quite wealthy Van Jones’s slur of “white lash” (or so he characterized the 2016 Trump victory), and thus had said that the 95 percent black vote for Obama was a “black lash.” Would that inanity have been permissible?

The greatest fear of the race industry is the present, not of 1825 not 1861 not 1950, but the here and now—and the growing anger they know they are sowing for the short-term careerist gain of a few pampered elites. So in this pessimistic rant, I am optimistic that woke comes to a close soon. You see its untruth and dangers are unsustainable and most Americans in the 233^rd year of the best nation in history will not simply surrender and sigh, “RIP.”

Three of the big issues of the day have the liberal left scrambling to pretend that it’s not a group of outside-the-mainstream radicals: defunding police, critical race theory, and voter ID laws. There should be repercussions for such cravenness.  After spending the better part of the year talking up a “defund the police” agenda, Democrats are now trying to claim that it’s Republicans who want to strip the police of their resources.

Defund the Police: For more than a year, leading Democrats – up to and including President Joe Biden – have talked up the idea of cutting police budgets because local law enforcement is plagued by racism..............Democrats didn’t just talk about defunding the police. Deep blue cities such as New York, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Austin, Portland, and others acted on it, slashing police budgets. The predictable result was an explosion in violent crime. Voter ID: Then there’s the issue of voter ID laws.
