The International Criminal Court appoints a Palestinian official who overlooked torture in Palestinian jails

The election of the Palestinian Attorney-General, Dr. Ahmad Barrak, to serve as a member of the "Advisory Committee on Nominations" of judges of the International Criminal Court, if it were not so serious, could be seen as comical. It cannot but invoke the ancient Latin maxim "ovem lupo commitere," or in its literal and colloquial version "to set the wolf to guard the sheep."
This sums up the acute absurdity to which respected international institutions in the international community, and particularly the United Nations and the International Criminal Court, have descended. Sadly, they have permitted themselves to be abused and manipulated by an irresponsible Palestinian leadership, intent on hijacking international organizations for obvious and blatant political purposes[.] .......... My TakeRespected international institutions? Really?  Name one!

The United Nations is the most corrupt incompetent organization the world has ever known and the International Criminal Court is corrupt, incompetent and is incapable of understanding the concept of actual justice let alone implementing it, I'm not shocked at all by this.

The United Nations Human Rights Council members have often been those with the most dispicable human rights records, sitting in judgement on themeselves, but mostly sitting in judgement on Israel for defending itself while ignoring all the horrors perpetrated by Muslim controlled nations against Israel, their own citizens and those neighbors they can assult.

Respected international organizations?  Really? Respected by whom?

World ignores worst human rights offense

Michael Carl
Hundreds of thousands face persecution, but plight unheeded - “Where is the international outrage over North Korea?” asks pastor and human rights activist Douglas Riggs.  Riggs, who pastors the Morning Star Testimony Church in Syracuse, New York, says he’s astounded that one of the world’s major persecutors continues to do so almost “under the radar.”   “Where is the international outcry from the international community for the most oppressed and persecuted people in the world who live in North Korea?” Riggs asks. “No nation is planning a military strike against the tyrannical rule of the North Korea.”….ToRead More……
My Take – Where is the International Criminal Court?  I thought this is what it was created for…..wasn’t it?  Of course….North Korea is ruled by communist like Fidal Castro, who also wasn’t prosecuted….or even threatened to be prosecuted.  So….what was the International Criminal Court really created for?

Communists seek prosecution of celebrated defector to U.S.

Former Soviet-bloc spy chief rattling opponents with revealing book
Art Moore entered the media world as a public relations assistant for the Seattle Mariners and a correspondent covering pro and college sports for Associated Press Radio. He reported for a Chicago-area daily newspaper and was senior news writer for Christianity Today magazine and an editor for Worldwide Newsroom before joining WND shortly after 9/11. He earned a master's degree in communications from Wheaton College.
Just as the former Soviet bloc’s highest-ranking defector is being officially commended by the government of his native land for aiding the downfall of communism in the region, defenders of the old regime are threatening to bring him before the International Criminal Court of Justice in The Hague on crimes against humanity.
As WND reported, Lt. Gen. Ion Mihai Pacepa, who defected to the U.S. in 1978 after serving as Romanian President Nicolae Ceausescu’s top official, was praised by the current Romanian government in an Aug. 16 letter and invited to visit the country as an honored guest. The government wants him to enlighten a new generation in Romania about the tyranny of the communist era in response to revisionists attempting to rehabilitate the Ceausescu regime…….Read more at
