New York Democrats in the state legislature were called into special session by Gov. Kathy Hochul in order to deal with an emergency situation. The U.S. Supreme Court had thrown out New York’s restrictive gun licensing law that made it nearly impossible for a citizen to carry a weapon for self-defense, and Democrats were experiencing near-apoplexy. Their paradise was about to be invaded by a bunch of gun-toting, whiskey-swilling, cowboy-hat-wearing yahoos. Robin's Take - Democrats - lawless. People don't realize that really the only thing keeping society relatively crime free is trust in each other and respect for the law. The left has been utterly trashing everything that way for quite some time now, and we see where that's getting us - lawless banana republic police state. And now they're quadrupling down on insanity and destruction - openly flouting the law whenever they don't happen to like it. And that goes all the way to the top, including Biden himself who utterly thumbed his nose at the Supreme Court already, plus implementing and coddling a massively politically biased unequal system of "justice."
