McCarthy Puts Pelosi on Notice Over Impeachment Acquittal

Once House Democrats voted to impeach President Donald Trump, Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) made the media rounds with the same phrase: "Once a president is impeached, he's impeached for life," she would say with a smile.

"We had confidence- we have confidence in our case that it is impeachable, that this president is impeached for life, regardless of any gamesmanship on the part of Mitch McConnell, however, that could still come to bear," Pelosi told ABC News' George Stephanopoulos last month. "We're still confident in the impeachment and we think it's enough testimony to remove him from office."
On Sunday, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy reminded Pelosi of one tidbit she seemed to forget: once the Senate votes to acquit President Trump – which is likely to happen on Wednesday – he will be acquitted for life........According to the House Minority Leader, Democrats are upset with how Pelosi handled impeachment by pursing it "too soon" and not being "fair in the process."......... My Take - It's my view a larger number of Democrats in the Congress are upset than is being reported.  While Schiff and others were lauded and praised by the looney left, the rest of the world thought they looked like idiots.  The President's defenders were actual attorneys, and they actually eviscerated Pelosi's Impeachment Managers with their own words and arguments. 

I also think after this is over they're going to make an effort to start another impeachment program.  But will the rest of the House rebel? They must realize this is going to haunt all of them come November. 

I do believe a lot of Democrats are going to be able to take long vacations after January 3, 2021, when the new Congress is sworn in, and most likely a Republican Congress.  

With the exception of lunatics from districts filled with people who are under smart and under informed, like those who vote for Maxine Waters, the goal of all the rest of the Congressional Democrats will to to avoid having to take that long vacation.

Pelosi is toast for the next nine months, and if she's re-elected, she'll not be Speaker of the House, and she won't be the minority leader.  She shown herself to be an invertebrate who has some serious intellectual problems, and it would appear some serious mental issues.
