Observations From the Back Row: Leftist Insanity

NBC Deletes Tweet Comparing Martha’s Vineyard Migrants to ‘Trash’ Jordan Dixon-Hamilton - NBC News compared the illegal immigrants who landed in Martha’s Vineyard this week to “trash” in a since-deleted tweet. The corporate media outlet posted an article about how the migrants, who are primarily Venezuelan, are dividing the Venezuelan-American community.  “Florida Gov. DeSantis sending asylum-seekers to Martha’s Vineyard is like ‘me taking my trash out and just driving to different areas where I live and just throwing my trash there,’ a founding member of a foundation that helps refugees says,” the tweet said...

My Take - Okay, so where is the U.N. on all this?  It's clear there's no way they can blame Israel for any of this, which must really be a real bummer for that bunch of psychopaths sitting on the U.N. Human Rights Council.  So where is the international condemnation of Russia?  I guess it's in the same location as their condemnation of China and their crimes against humanity, all going on right now.

 Leftist "values" Destroy Culture

Abortion, Climate, Sexuality: How to Beat the Left at Their Own Game - Leftists’ denial of objective reality is not merely ideological. It’s a strategy deployed to replace the observable reality to which all are equally accountable with “facts” defined by those in power. It is an essential step to the establishment of totalitarian control..............ON CLIMATE.......ON HUMAN REPRODUCTION............ON HUMAN SEXUALITY.............We must speak the TRUTH in plain, unapologetic terms................

Pope Francis: Not Fair to Call China ‘Undemocratic’ - Pope Francis has rejected the label “undemocratic” to describe China’s communist regime, insisting that the issue is too complex to allow for such characterizations.“I cannot get on board with calling China undemocratic; I won’t do that because it’s such a complex country,” the pontiff told journalists during his return trip from Kazakhstan to Rome Thursday. “Sure, there are things that seem undemocratic to us, that is true.”  “Labeling is difficult and I’m not ready to do that, since they are impressions, so instead I try to support the path of dialogue,” he declared.  “Understanding China takes a century, and we do not live for a century,” the pope said. “The Chinese mentality is a rich mentality, and when it gets a little sick, it loses its richness; it is capable of making mistakes.”  “In order to understand we have chosen the path of dialogue, open to dialogue,” he added..............

America in Crisis

Constitution Day: Liberty Once Lost May be Lost Forever - Constitution Day, which falls on September 17, is the national observance holiday that most Americans have never heard of. Yet this year, 2022, it may well be our most important holiday to understand, for almost all our most pressing national problems today are a result of corruption and departure from governance and law enforcement consistent with the Constitution. As a result, our country is threatened more now than at any time since seven southern states seceded from the Union and Civil War broke out on April 12, 1861. To understand the present peril, it is worth going back in time to appreciate how the Constitution was conceived as both the founding and governing instrument for the United States government.................

 Biden Consequence

On The Radar, Wave 3 of Food Price Inflation Soon to Arrive | sundance | 191 Comments  You know that moment just before the tsunami hits, when the water is pulled out to sea?  Yeah, that. Media are starting to realize what a destabilizing force ‘food insecurity’ can become as the pre-existing high prices are about to go even higher..............

Going Green....Really is Insane

Welcome to the Green New Deal, California - If California, our most populous state, were its own nation, it would rank as the world's fifth largest economy and boast the highest average household income (outside a handful of "countries" like Monaco or Luxemburg). And, yet, the governor is begging its citizens to stop using their appliances, turn off their lights, and keep their thermostats at a stifling 78, lest they suffer more rolling blackouts, like some junior mandarin in a Third World country. Of course, I kid when I say that California is already experiencing the effects of the Green New Deal. A state that still derives more than 66% of its energy from non-renewable sources, has tens of trillions of dollars to go before it meets President Joe Biden's promise of a 65% reduction in emissions by 2030. The flooding of an already rickety grid with undependable renewables offers only a small taste of the "transition" to "clean energy."
