Today's theme is, and could probably be everyday now, America in Crisis.  Whether it involves race, immigration, science, the Deep State, education and even the Rule of Law, America really is in crisis.  There are only two commentaries today, one by Dan Mitchell dealing with economics and the Biden administration, and one by my friend Jay Lehr, which I think is outstanding.  Those are followed by eight linked articles, some with multiple links, and I would like to draw your attention to this one, ‘Cruelty’ is trending, but you’ll never guess why.  I added a My Take at the end saying:

My Take -  So, what's DeSantis' answer to all the caterwauling from these leftist hypocrites?  DeSantis Staff: Thousands More Migrants Could Be Headed to Martha's Vineyard. 

The left is really great at a number of things.  

• The ability to redefine language from clear and definable meaning into irrational and confusing leftist babble.  
• The ability to twist history to fit their narrative of the moment.
  
• The ability to project their failings onto others.  
• The ability to spew out logical fallacies without even thinking about them.  
• The ability to place massive burdens on the shoulders of others while screaming outrage if they have to carry a toothpick.  
• The ability to demand perfection from others while failing to perform at even basic standards of competence.  
• The ability to make their hypocrisy someone else's fault.  
• The ability to lie without one iota of guilt or conscience.  
  

And they're running the country.  What could possibly go wrong?  

Let's face it, Job One for America is fixing the educational system starting with kindergarten up to and including advanced degrees at the university level.  Education can no longer be considered the untouchable sacred cow, or in the case the Golden Calf, if there's ever going to be a fix.

I find the whole thing stunning. It’s as if the Democrat Party walked into numerous mental health institutions and just started rounding up patients at random and said “ok-you’re running for this office…you there in the bow-tie…you’re running for this office”…this is “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest” on steroids.
