Air Force General Believes U.S. Will Be at War with China in 2025: ‘My Gut Tells Me We Will Fight’

Ethan Letkeman

A four-star Air Force general is predicting the U.S. will be at war with China in 2025 and has already told officers to prepare.  “I hope I am wrong. My gut tells me we will fight in 2025,” Gen. Mike Minihan, head of Air Mobility Command, told officers in a memo sent on Friday, as first reported by NBC News.  “Xi secured his third term and set his war council in October 2022. Taiwan’s presidential elections are in 2024 and will offer Xi a reason. United States’ presidential elections are in 2024 and will offer Xi a distracted America,” said Minihan. “Xi’s team, reason, and opportunity are all aligned for 2025.”...........To Read More....

My Take - Okay, why is he saying this?  He has a gut feeling?  Did I get that right?  Well, he's a four star general, but then so is Milley, and so was Austin, and we've seen just how stupid they are.  It seems to me for a four star general to come out and say something like this is odd.  The timing is odd also it seems.  What's really behind this?

I don't know, but this is hyperbole at this point.

The job of the military is to anticipate potential threats and prepare for them.  The military has multiple scenarios they play out, kind of like computer games, that tries to analyze the enemies abilities, capabilities, potential strategies and then plan counter measures.  His job is to assume there will be conflict, and be prepared to deal with it, not make predictions to the press with no more evidence than has already become public.

Here's a piece that I think is interesting, 'Aim for the Head': Air Force General's Fiery Memo on China Bucks Biden Narrative, which give one pause asking, is it possible the military has it's own agenda?

They're not supposed to have any agenda other than defending the nation under civilian leadership, but we already know Milley, Austin and others violated that under Trump, why shouldn't we believe this mentality has not only continued, but has metastasized?
