The Iran that Obama helped keep in place

Protests against Iran’s theocratic regime enter their seventh day today. The country's chief cleric, who dominates the violent and oppressive regime, has tried to blame foreign agents for the courageous public display of dissent. But the truth, as the old tyrant well knows, is that the government that he and his fellow mullahs oversee has created woeful economic conditions, fostered corruption, and unintentionally nurtured a desire among young people (who account for the majority of the Iranian population) for freedom.

My Take - As time goes by the world will continue to see just how incredibly stupid Obama and his merry band have been, including - and maybe especially - John Kerry.  But he was a symptom of the overall problem.  Leftists hate America, Americans, capitalism, free choice, freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom from government tyranny, and that's why they support so many governments around the world that have crushed those freedoms we think we will have forever.  Their desire to crush them here is unending, no matter how they phrase their agenda - that's their real goal.
