Before we get into the meat of this article, let's do some dictionary work, since it appears so many who write articles or espouse opinions on the electronic media clearly never look in a dictionary, and worse yet - they really never, ever, took a course in logic.
Dichotomy: 1 : a division into two especially mutually exclusive or contradictory groups or entities; the dichotomy between theory and practice; dichotomy of the population into two opposed classes 2 : something with seemingly contradictory qualities.
Phobia: An exaggerated usually inexplicable and illogical fear of a particular object, class of objects, or situation
Irrational: a (1) : not endowed with reason or understanding (2) : lacking usual or normal mental clarity or coherence b : not governed by or according to reason.
I've never been more amazed at the insane views of the left as I've been this last year. If Trump has done anything it's exposed them for the intellectual, irrational, misanthropic and moral defects they are.
The View is about the biggest dump of stupid on television, and the audience - based on their enthuesiastic applause for the insane and idiotic comments made by the hostst - must be as smart as tree moss. And Joy Behar is only exceeded in her stupidity by Whoopie Goldberg.
On January second she made the claim - with absolutely no corroberating evidence - Trump was "in bed with those protecting the terrorists responsible for committing the 9/11 attacks and suggested that because of the Trump administration, the LGBT community could be on the verge of being stoned in the streets in the U.S." Claiming “we're on a very slippery slope in this country toward throwing democracy out the window every single day.” Which was followed by another dim light bulb, CNN contributor Ana Navarro saying, “We have to defend the freedom of the press and civil rights here”.
When Meghan McCain - who I don't think is any brighter than her father - stated the obvious in rebuttal - “We do, but you're not being stoned in the street for being gay!” McCain fired back.
“Not yet,” Behar exclaimed. “Not yet.”
Not yet? Really?
So if the left is acting like Trump is going to kill all the gays, make slavery legal and take away woman's rights, are we to assume they think Trump has converted to Islam?
And yet the left is constantly on the prod to defend against Islamophobia. Why are they so concerned about those who by reason of their religious conviction they must kill gays, kill anyone who fails to follow the Koran, including those Muslims who disagree with their particular brand of Islam and strip women of all civil rights? Isn't that foundational to the liberal agenda?
Elizabeth Warrem thinks allowing Muslims to rape women and then kill the babies they produce is a good thing? Because "tolerance" is more important than rape and abortion? This is their view of human rights? This is their view of compassion? This is the same insane woman who stated executing the a cold blooded Muslim terrorist - Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev - is wrong. But at the same time thinks killing millions of innocent babies is acceptable? Is that what they all think?
Well, yes!
Perhaps you've noticed they have some serious issues in logic.
When you hear a liberal say something has to be done because it's for the children - you had better pay closer attention because you might find it's not what they want to do 'for' the children - it's what they want to do 'to' the children.
Of course they absolutely believe in free speech and differences in opinions....as long as those opinions don't differ from theirs. That's justified by calling anyone who disagrees a racist, sexist, homophobe, ilsamophobe, xenophobe, inbred redneck, Bible thumper, NASCAR loving, gun toting, America loving bigot.
There's one more piece of dictionary work I would like to expore:
Cognitive dissonance: In psychology, cognitive dissonance is the mental stress or discomfort experienced by an individual who holds two or more contradictory beliefs, ideas, or values at the same time, or is confronted by new information that conflicts with existing beliefs, ideas, or values. Leon Festinger's theory of cognitive dissonance focuses on how humans strive for internal consistency. When inconsistency (dissonance) is experienced, individuals tend to become psychologically uncomfortable and they are motivated to attempt to reduce this dissonance, as well as actively avoiding situations and information which are likely to increase it.
Now I think that clears it all up. They're crazy!
