Chauvin, Maxine, and the Consequences

Well, the verdict is in.  Chauvin has been found guilty and it's clear the jury was intimidated long before Mad Maxine pulled her little stunt, and as I predicted, in spite of the fact she clearly violated the Democrat party's own evaluations for promoting violence, they, and their cats paws in the leftist media, demonstrated their hypocrisy and cowardice by surrounded her like an iron ring to prevent any negative consequences to her.

Gregory Hood in his piece We Can’t Police These People stated:

The trial was pointless. We knew the outcome. We knew the threat. Convict Derek Chauvin of murder, or cities will burn. Jurors surely knew they would be doxxed if they didn’t vote to convict; one potential juror was dismissed after he dared mention this fear.........This is about race, not police. I expect police will crack down further on law-abiding whites while ignoring black crime.

Mark Davis felt there was clearly reasonable doubt  and  in his piece, America's Streets Are Spared, But Was Justice Done in the Chauvin Trial? states:

But in navigating the actual Minnesota statutes defining the charges against Chauvin, I found multiple judgment calls that fell short of the burden of proof.  The second-degree murder charge required the restraint of George Floyd to be an actual criminal assault; third-degree murder requires a “depraved mind” and lack of “regard for human life.”  Even the least of the charges, second-degree manslaughter, requires taking “unreasonable risk” and “consciously” taking a chance of causing death or bodily harm..........

Noting the recent discussions about the corruptive effect of events outside the courthouse, prosecutor and Fox analyst Andy McCarthy said after the verdict:  “The best way to show that the jury was not bamboozled into convicting would have been if deliberations had gone on for a few days, if they maybe acquitted on a count, if they made a record where you could say they made a discriminating appraisal of the evidence.”

Conversely, he added, “The best way for [Derek Chauvin] to show that he might not have gotten due process is a quick verdict with no notes where they just convicted on everything.  And that’s what happened.”

In The trial of Derek Chauvin has unleashed the dogs of thuggery and revolution Steve McCann notes:

The trial of Derek Chauvin maybe over, but the repercussions have just begun. Whether Chauvin was guilty of murder or manslaughter or innocent can be debated endlessly; however, based on the testimony of all the witnesses, the conviction of murder seemed a bridge too far. But more importantly, the trial and the unfair manner in which it was adjudicated combined with the unabashed and overt threats of violence and the sycophancy of Joe Biden and the Democrats have permanently emboldened the radical left (or Marxists) and unleashed the dogs of unending thuggery and potential revolution.

The primary lesson the militant left will take away from the Chauvin trial is not that he was found guilty but that its tactics work. Leftists' willingness to use violence, looting, intimidation, and threats has succeeded beyond their wildest dreams as they watched a judge and jury succumb to their threats and history of belligerence.

Further, the elected members of the Democrat party as well as the Democrat media and the bulk of the ruling elites refused to criticize their tactics and in fact defended them and regurgitated their talking points as if they were trained seals. The primary lesson the militant left will take away from the Chauvin trial is not that he was found guilty, but that its tactics work. Leftists' willingness to use violence, looting, intimidation, and threats has succeeded beyond their wildest dreams.

Of course the real goal here isn't convicting a cop, it's convicting America. In this piece, Racist Professor Demands a 'Conviction of America' After Chauvin Verdict, a so-called:

Leading "anti-racist"Boston University professor Ibram X. Kendi is calling for the conviction of the United States of America and is brushing aside the idea that individual officers are responsible for their actions, rather than the entire justice system."

So now what? Chauvin is headed to jail, but is America headed to justice. Is justice convicting a police officer, or is justice convicting America?" Kendi asks in a new video for CBS News. "When tens of millions of Americans after Floyd's murder last year took to the streets of nearly every American town, we were convicting America."

The long term consequences of this is not now, nor will it be in the future,  one of peace, or racial harmony.  Even now the federal government, just as it did under Obama, will launch an investigation into the Minneapolis Police Department and, make no mistake about this as it's a forgone conclusion based on history:  Before that's over the city and the police department will make agreements with the DOJ that will give oversight to a bunch of misfit anti-cop activists.

The Verdict by Jury vs Verdict by Community Organizers by - What about future jurors in future trials? Will they vote the way they think the President wants them to vote? Or vote the way community organizers want them to vote? The organizers who hint at mob violence if they do not get the vote they want? That’s when jurors feel threatened by violence themselves…

The Verdict Judge and executioner. - No one in his right mind could have been surprised by the verdict in the Minneapolis trial of Officer Derek Chauvin for the killing of George Floyd. For 11 straight months cities have been burned, people have been murdered and billions of dollars of property damage have been caused by a national lynch mob determined to be its own judge, jury and executioner...............

Headed by Antifa and Black Lives Matter and supported by every so-called “Civil Rights” organization, the Democrat Party and its malignant leadership – Biden, Harris, Pelosi and Schumer, this lynch mob has been on the attack against law enforcement a decade and more. Their threat, No “Justice” No Peace, is a threat that more cities will be attacked, more people will die – perhaps even Chauvin case jurors - if the verdicts they want aren’t delivered. This is a criminal movement with a criminal mission: to substitute its own vigilante justice for America’s justice. .....

BLM Is A Socially Exploitive Flim-Flam Machine - Black Lives Matter (BLM) is a domestic terrorist group, that has done more to factually harm and promote the regressive rejection of modernity than Ku Klux Klan (KKK) did in an 86 year period, and that includes being responsible for the deaths of black people.  Over an 86-year period spanning from 1882 to 1968 there were 3,446 blacks lynched in America by the Democrat controlled terrorist group.

BLM exists to extort massive sums of money and blackmail corporate America into doing the bidding of the rabid demonic hordes holding elected office and the Satanic demigods existing in the political shadow world, who fund and dictate the actions of BLM et al.

Nothing that BLM has done or will do, benefits anyone apart from their leadership and the godless entities responsible for the terrorist organization’s existence.

Mob justice for Derek Chauvin Why would anyone be a cop in a Democrat city?.....Reasonable people can disagree on whether Derek Chauvin was responsible for George Floyd's death, but it cannot be reasonably argued that the trial that resulted in his conviction was anything resembling impartial justice. After eight months of rioting in response to Floyd's death — resulting in more than a dozen deaths and billions in property damage — it would have been difficult for Chauvin to get a fair trial anywhere in America.

But the notion that an impartial jury could be seated in Hennepin County — the epicenter of those riots — is absurd. Minneapolis is a deeply traumatized city. Scores of businesses were burned and looted; a police precinct was burned to the ground; and elected officials, including the mayor, abandoned their responsibility for public safety. Murder rates soared. That the jury returned guilty verdicts on all three counts against Chauvin in just ten hours, without asking a single question for clarification of the many complex legal and technical issues in this case, confirms that the outcome was predetermined.

Candace Owens Says America’s Suffering from ‘Two Pandemics’: Ignorance and Cowardice - “There’s a pandemic of ignorance in this country, and that is only allowed to fly because we also have a pandemic of cowardice in this country. Okay? We have people that are purposely putting out a bunch of ignorant claims, and then we have people that are too cowardly to stand up and say, ‘You know what, this is wrong.’”

“We do not have people that are sitting in Congress willing to take this fight where it needs to be taken,” Owens said, contrasting the way media vilified former President Donald Trump’s call for a peaceful and patriotic march on the Capitol with the way they defend Rep. Maxine Waters’ (D-Calif.) multiple calls for violence: Following the Chauvin verdict, there are two videos you should see  Candace Owens explains what the left is doing to American via the Chauvin case, and Ben Domenech explains the cultural battle being waged in America.

Don't have any delusions. America is on the verge of anarchy.  Every black thug, male or female, killed by police will generate unrest and that unrest will be promoted by the media. Here in Ohio the "racial grievance industry" is booming. The media has cranked up a narrative of police racial injustice after Columbus cop stops a knife-wielding teen from stabbing another girl.  In Columbus the media is disgusting in it's creation of a picture of "predatory white police on the prowl" to kill innocent blacks in cold blood.

Here's what really happened.   Cops were respond to a call, they just didn't happen to be there, and it was a call for help against a knife attack.  So this wasn't about some innocent black just standing around minding her own business.  When they get there's they find a fight in progress.  The cops order them to stop, but the girl wielding the knife ignores their instructions and continued to attack another girl, and so the cop shot her.

What was he supposed to do.  Let one girl kill the other and say, well, I guess the murdered girl just had a bad day and go and eat a doughnut?

We're seeing black on black crime that's almost unbelievable.  The blacks who actually are murdering blacks are almost totally ignored by the media, and certainly ignored by the "racial grievance industry" because it doesn't promote their narrative that America is vile and needs to be destroyed. Yet where's the real unmitigated violence?  Random ‘sucker-punch’ assaults leave frightened NYC residents on edge

If any community needs more policing, it's black America, but that's the community who elects misfits like Maxine Waters who conduct a war on the police and the justice system.  There's no fixing that.  Worse yet, this was part of a plan. The Left’s Long March Through The Institutions Is Now Pretty Much Complete, And It’s A Disaster.

We're heading into troubled waters, and I'm afraid those waters will be bloody before it's all over.
