An Ex-Marine Stood Up to a Subway Monster. Now He May Go To Jail

The media is full of pictures of Jordan Neely performing as a Michael Jackson impersonator.

None show him punching a 67-year-old woman in the face as she was leaving a subway station. The vicious thug broke her nose, fractured her orbital bone, and fell leading to “substantial pain to the back of her head.”

That’s the felony assault case that Neely was still wanted on a year and a half later when he began terrorizing passengers on a subway train in downtown Manhattan.

The videos of him moonwalking in the subway don’t show the time he was arrested for attempted kidnapping after he was seen dragging a 7-year-old girl down the street.

He got off with only 4 months in jail.

They also don’t show any of his over 40 other arrests or the time he threatened to kill his grandfather.

A neighbor told reporters, “They wouldn’t let him inside sometimes at night because they were afraid of him.”

“Jordan Neely was murdered,” Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez tweeted. “Any possible mental health challenges that Jordan may have been experiencing were no reason for his life to be taken,” Council Speaker Adrienne Adams, a pro-crime activist, argued.

“We cannot end up back to a place where vigilantism is tolerable,” Rev. Al Sharpton warned, recalling another subway hero, Bernhard Goetz, who stood up to thugs trying to mug him.

What happened was that Jordan Neely was attacking and threatening passengers. Five subway riders, in a notoriously thick-skinned city of commuters, called 911 and reported the situation.

A caller told the NYPD that Neeley was “attacking people”.

“I don’t mind going to jail and getting life in prison. I’m ready to die,” Neely screamed. “I’ll hurt anyone on this train.”

An ex-Marine from Queens, a decorated sergeant, got up and put the subway monster in a loose chokehold. The Marine, as politicians and the media have repeatedly told us, is white. Another man, a black man, as politicians and the media have declined to tell us, held him down and kept his arms in check.

While Neely struggled and fought, and the men who stood up to protect the women and children on the subway train from a monster who had a history of attacking elderly women and young girls, he eventually died. Had Neely been less determined to hurt passengers on the train, usually the most vulnerable ones, he would have lived, but he was too full of rage and hate.

The ex-Marine was taken into custody but then released even as pro-crime Democrats, eager to have their next George Floyd and the impetus for nationwide race riots, tried to lynch him.

Speaker Adrienne Adams claimed that the absence of immediate criminal charges against the subway hero, “puts on display for the world the double standards that black people and other people of color continue to face. Everyone in our city and nation should be reflecting on what this incident represents and says about us.”

What it says is that racist pro-crime politicians like Adrienne Adams and prosecutors like DA Alvin Bragg have turned New York City into a war zone in which criminals freely terrorize people with no consequences and the only ones who have to worry about charges are the ordinary heroes who stand up to them.

In the aftermath of Neely’s deaths, New York politicians demonstrated that their sympathies are with the criminals, not their victims.

“I saw Jordan Neely perform his Michael Jackson routine many times on the A train. He always made people smile,” Manhattan Borough President Mark Levine tweeted.

Was the 67-year-old woman smiling when Neely punched her in the face? What about the young girl he was dragging down the street during his attempted kidnapping?

Does Levine smile when he thinks about what happened to them?

“NYC is not Gotham. We must not become a city where a mentally ill human being can be choked to death by a vigilante without consequence. Or where the killer is justified & cheered,” Comptroller Brad Lander whined. New York is not Gotham. That fictional city had Batman while the broken city it’s based on occasionally has a few good men who risk their lives.

And they get repaid for it with social justice lynch mobs.

“Just looking at that video, you know its wrong, no one has the right to take the life of another person,” Gov. Hochul, whose opposition to bail has filled the streets with violent criminals, said.

The reason that the government has a monopoly on violence is because it’s supposed to enforce the law and keep the peace. When blue states and cities like New York stop doing that, they leave people with no choice except to defend themselves and others however they can.

The ex-Marine and other men on that train stood up for the women and girls to whom Neely posed a threat. They did what none of the politicians like Gov. Hochul, who claims to be a feminist, Borough President Mark Levine, Council Speaker Adrienne Adams, Comptroller Brad Lander, never mind AOC, were willing to do. And they may well pay the price for it.

Black Lives Matter and Pro-Crime Democrats are trying to make Neely the next George Floyd.

DA Alvin Bragg had tried to charge Jose Alba, a 51-year-old grocery worker who fought back against a thug, and a garage worker who was shot twice before taking the gun away and turning it on his attacker, before public outrage forced him to drop the charges. But those men were minorities whereas the ex-Marine, as the media hatefully reminds us, is white. And fair game.

Jose wasn’t going to revive Black Lives Matter and its nationwide race riots before the next election, a white ex-Marine from Trump’s borough may be just what the community organizer ordered. Neely’s death has already become a national story as the media has its fingers crossed for another round of “mostly peaceful” race riots that will burn cities to the ground.

Just as the woman whom George Floyd robbed at gunpoint never made it to all the “I Can’t Breathe” posters, the 67-year-old woman whom Jordan Neely punched and the young girl he tried to kidnap won’t show up. Some lives matter and some don’t. Those of serial predators who unironically impersonate another serial predator and rack up over 40 arrests matter.

And those of their victims never do.

Pro-Crime Democrats have turned cities into violent hellholes where the police are useless, the prosecutors do nothing and the prisons are revolving doors for the worst monsters around.

The Race Industrial Complex Will Destroy America

Over recent years we've seen constants that are in my view, bizarre!  Academic standards are a joke.  Scholarly integrity is a blatant falsehood.  Scientific integrity has been bought with government grant money.  The left destroyed all that and replaced it with corruption of thought.  It's absolutely true that ideology makes smart people stupid, and academia is a virtual lava flow of stupid.

Andrea Widburg posted this article,  A UT-Austin psych professor pathologizes all ‘wealthy white men’, saying:

I attended the University of Texas at Austin School of Law in the mid-1980s. At the time, most of my fellow classmates were Republicans, and they were lovely people, something that came as a big surprise to a Democrat who had just left UC Berkeley. Now, though, the University of Texas at Austin is one of the most “woke” campuses in America. The latest example, which could have occurred at any American college, UT’s Department of Psychology, where a hugely popular professor came close to saying all white men are psychopaths.............

And we wonder why so many young, foolish, over educated and under smart people believe stupid things?  The same is true of what I'm calling the Celebrity Industrial Complex.  Rajan Laad posted this article, Celebrity sleeper cell activated to foment chaos in Kansas City, noting:

A day after the shooting and even before the investigation could have been completed, celebrities began posting on social media. Former Bond Girl Halle Berry began, she claimed, to be ‘sick and tired of this feeling” and that her “heart completely broke.”  Berry named the prosecutor, his office address, his phone number, and email address. Soon other celebrities followed. Kate Hudson posted a series of slides that is supposed to depict the shooting incident; the final slide has details about the prosecutor. .............Penelope Cruz posted the same set of slides.  The legendary Michelle Pfeffer joined in too posting details about the prosecutor.  Jennifer Aniston, Viola Davis, Justin Timberlake and myriad others joined in............. Update: Tucker Carlson pointed out last night that a white woman was shot under similar circumstances without President Biden making a statement or anyone bringing race into the matter:

There are hundreds of blacks being killed by other blacks every year in this country, and done with an absolute disregard for the gender, the age, or the innocence of the victims, and we don't hear a peep out of the Celebrity Industrial Complex.  Yet they explode out of the woodwork over this, and this has been the pattern for years.  It never occurred to me before now this was an organized effort on the left, meaning someone on the left has created a list of prominent people and sends out alerts in order to generate responses on social media.  Otherwise we have to believe all these celebrities are all reading the same news, at the same time, and immediately responding in lock step, and that it's all coincidental.

They all jumped on the band wagon when thugs like Trayvon Martin were killed, but where were they when 13 month old Antonio Santiago was murdered by two young black thugs?  You don't know who Antonia Santiago is do you?  Why?  Because the media is part of the Race Industrial Complex and Celebrity Industrial Complex and they didn't make a national scandal over it, and that's true of a host of black on white crime, including what was called the Knock Out Game.  Do you know any of their names?  Let me help you find out who they were and what happened, and is happening nationwide destroying America. 

Ben Shapiro posted this article, The Left's favorite lie: Widespread white-on-black violence, outlining exactly why this is being touted by so many:

The reason for the journalistic and political feeding frenzy is clear: For the political Left, the narrative of white supremacy must be maintained. What's more, shocking examples of that narrative must be found. Yarl's shooting fit the bill. Americans are supposed to believe, as Yarl's attorney put it, that "blackness is under attack."

This is a lie. Not only is it a lie, it is a blatantly idiotic and devastatingly counterproductive lie. That lie provides the impetus toward undercutting police presence in high-crime areas; it provides the basis for racially discriminatory governmental policies; it provides the foundation for the argument that all disparities between the races are the result of white discrimination.

The truth is far more troubling: In America, while most violent crime is intra-racial (white on white or black on black, for example), in cases in which blacks and whites have violent interaction, blacks are overwhelmingly the perpetrators, not the victims.

One can't help but feel sorry for this young man, and I think there's a lot to this story we don't yet know. I've been reading the comments, and I think this needs to be said. There is only one thing I know for sure, and that is old people are scared. I'm one of them.

I'm 77, arthritic, with broken bones in my back, and I know there's no way I could defend myself against a young man, especially a big young man, irrespective of his race. I don't know if the man opened the door or not. I don't know if the kid tried to open the door or not. But I do know we're now living amidst a crime wave that's sweeping the nation, and everyone is scared, and rightly so, and like it or not, blacks are way ahead of the rest of the population in the commission of those crimes, so there's good reason to be afraid of a young black man coming to the door at night. 

So, was this 84 year old man a racist, or was he just scared? I'm betting scared, and reacted foolishly. Will he get a fair trial? No. If he did get a fair trial would he be found guilty of some of these charges. Yes. 

The story is a sad commentary on the cultural degradation that's destroying America, and the left, the race hustlers, and the Democrats own it all, and I think the vast majority of people could care less what these Hollywood misfits think or say, and the time when academia will pay for its folly is coming, and not from the right.  There are no boundaries on the left, and soon it will be impossible for these academic nitwits to be able to satisfy the next level of leftist maniacs, violent leftist maniacs.  

When Everything is Racist, Nothing Is

Prior to the second half of the 20^th century, racism was a genuine problem in America.  However, the civil rights movement of the 1960s focused attention on the issue.  The peaceful protests of Martin Luther King provided clarity of message and the moral high ground.  We made great progress.  Prejudice against people of color became socially unacceptable.  It became taboo -- and that was a good thing.

Unfortunately, within a few short years, leftists highjacked the movement.  Just as they do with everything, they perverted it.  Consistent with their “never let a crisis (or opportunity) go to waste” mentality, they turned a noble societal pursuit into another exercise in the advancement of Marxism. 

The diversity industry sprang up in the 1990s and has been embraced broadly throughout the country.  Both industry and government endorse its lessons.  It teaches us to embrace our racial, cultural, and ethnic differences -- but not our political differences.  In fact, we are encouraged to celebrate our differences over our commonalities.  This inevitably led to the construction, rather than destruction, of cultural walls.  Did the “diversity” industry not see that this would be the result of their ideology -- or did they not care?  We no longer embrace the assimilation of the “melting pot.”  We are embracing cultural communities within communities -- segregation.  A number of colleges had separate graduation ceremonies this year.  One school system in Atlanta is even segregating classes by race again.  It’s not being done by the evil right-wing haters -- it’s being done by the progressive left............To Read More...

All Things Great and Small ....... Are Racist!, Part V

The mental gymnastics performed by leftists to promote their narratives has always been amazing, and outrageous!  Finally, it's now so outrageous it's to the point the average person can see it for what it is.  A concerted effort by the Democrat party and their leftist allied misfits to drive a massive wedge between all sections of American society.  All of which is taking a toll on the rule of law and destroying the stability and continued existence of America as we've known it.

 

Before we delve into the latest "racist" outrages, let's delve into the left's mental gymnastics.  Who better to start with than Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.  In spite of all the bile she spills out about capitalism, it turns out, she's might actually be a capitalist.  Imagine that!  It turns out he's selling merchandise, but according to AOC "transactions" aren't "capitalism".  So, one point four million dollars isn't capitalism?  Is this just another example of leftist cognitive dissonance, or is it just another one of their "justified" lies to promote their narratives?  

 

Leftist mental creativity is mind boggling, as Dr. Ileana Johnson Paugh says:

 

"creatively pulling out of the proverbial magician hat amazingly artistic constructs that do not exist. They contort themselves verbally into impossible pretzeled scenarios that bear no resemblance to reality or common sense."

 

In the four previous pieces I outlined a list of things being declared racist, and that list grows daily, and more and more absurdly.  As an example, now creationism is white supremacy according to Allison Hooper.

 

 "I want to unmask the lie that evolution denial is about religion and recognize that at its core, it is a form of white supremacy that perpetuates segregation and violence against Black bodies.  Under the guise of 'religious freedom,' the legalistic wing of creationists loudly insists that their point of view deserves equal time in the classroom.  

 

Science education in the U.S. is constantly on the defensive against antievolution activists who want biblical stories to be taught as fact."  Moreover, for many decades, "entrenched racism and the ban on teaching evolution in the schools have gone hand in hand."  This raises the question: "WTH?" 

 

I really find this to be outrageous since as one writer notes: "Universities no longer teach actual science, or at least a lot of the top ones don't."

Perhaps I could encourage Allison Hopper and Scientific American to read my annual article, Shall Every Knee Bow?, which has been called brilliant by one of my science friends, and outstandingly logical by others, albeit some remain atheists.  But agreeing or disagreeing on evolution versus creation isn't the issue.  No one can claim my piece is unscientific, and most certainly there's no way anyone can claim that position is racist in nature in any way.  

Then there's climate change "deniers".  First of all, those opposing the Global Warming activists aren't climate change deniers because they're totally aware Earth's climate has changed over and over again for it's entire existence.  What they're denying is man's ability to effect climate change as a result of CO2 emissions, and all the fraud and lies attached to their so-called "settled science".  

Apparently, the climate and how temperatures  affect Mother Earth due to solar flares, water currents around the earth, and volcanic oceanic eruptions above and below earth are now caused by environmental racism.   That and trees, or the lack there of is racist, which of course means if they're attacked by pests, disease, fire and drought, that's racist also!

Crossword puzzles have Hidden Bigotry . "The popular puzzles are largely written and edited by older white men, who dictate what makes it into the grid—and what is kept out, and "in comments sections on crossword blogs,.........debate raged.    It wasn't about race, but it was about the underlying problem, mental gymnastics to create division.  

And since insect names are now racist (as I point out in a past piece), fish names are now racist.  Worries about racism in our waterways has caused the renaming of the Asian Carp, which now is to be called "invasive carp".  The past history of the naming landmarks and locations must also be thoroughly researched to discover any possible connection that might inspire racism.

We already know enforcing laws against crime are racist, and now  Car accidents are being used to smear police officers as racist, but this one of my favorites.  A Landmark Civil Rights Lawsuit where:

 "a teacher in Evanston, Illinois, filed a landmark civil rights lawsuit against her school district. Her complaint: the district segregated staff by race for professional development, subjected students to race-shaming “privilege walks,” instructed teachers to take race into account in student discipline, and taught students that treating people equally “helps racism.” 

So, now, let me see if I've gotten this right.  Race shaming, privilege walks - whatever that is - separating staff by race, and ignoring the rules for disciplinary purposes based on race isn't racist, but promoting equality is?   Did I get that right?  Did I miss something?  Oh, yes! Did I mention that filming and exposing these fanatical CRT teachers in the classroom would be racist?

And you had better not deny you're a racist, because that's proof positive you're a racist, and the worst kind of racist, a denier! And that statement is from a radical black activist who goes by the name of Ibram X. Kendi who called his parents racists.  Why are they racists? They worked hard to give him the good life, which they did provide, and he accepted, and that made them racists! Not him for accepting all that parental goodness though.  Critical race theory makes children into the enemies of their parents.

Then there's rape and murder.  That's not crime, it's politics!.  John Hinderaker posted a piece about a 13-year-old Austrian girl who was raped and murdered by four Afghan immigrants.A 13 year old girl! I can only imagine her horror. 

The teen’s body was found wrapped in a carpet against a tree. She had allegedly being given as many as eleven pills of the drug MDMA/ecstasy by four Afghan migrants, who are said to have raped her before her death. 

 

How did the left respond to this abhorrent crime?  They were outraged! What were they outraged about?  "A newspaper revealed the nationalities of suspects arrested for the rape and murder of that 13-year-old girl......... attacking several employees.  Hinderaker went on to comment and ask a pertinent question:

This is typical liberal insanity. What “racism,” a “sexist society,” “capitalism” or “patriarchy” had to do with the rape and murder of this girl cannot be explained. The crime can only be attributed to the criminals who committed it.  Which, of course, is what liberals in Austria, as in the U.S., cannot abide.

In America we have misfits in leadership roles like the racist Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms who states:

"the word “thugs” was racist.....and...... being accused of corruption was racist."

Now the study of disease and viruses is racist. It appears there are those in one university wants to "decolonise" these studies, saying: 

 White supremacy and European colonialism are embedded in the study of viruses and other diseases according to the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM), which has vowed to decolonise its curriculum after advising the British government on the coronavirus pandemic. The alma mater of the Chief Medical Officer for England Chris Whitty, who has led the government’s scientific response to the coronavirus, has vowed to reform its curriculum in order to make the study of tropical diseases “anti-racist”. 

And what exactly is this "decolonise" crap?  It's a Marxist concept that has nothing to do with land, but everything to do with the mind. Here's the short version.  They want to make Europeans, and whites in general, believe they don't deserve what they have, they need to repent of their privileges and need to be punished.

Make no mistake, none of this would have been tolerated in any of these communist nations leftist applaud.   Communism survivor slams down Dem who claimed 'white nationalism' more dangerous than communism:

"an Arizona lawmaker who arrived in the country as a refugee from war-torn Vietnam took to the floor of the state House to deliver a lesson on historical realities leftists would prefer to ignore.  And when Quang Nguyen was speaking, every liberal should have been listening.

“If we don’t stand up to teach communism to our children, we’ll lose this country,” he said in a speech last week in Phoenix that’s now attracting national attention after its spread on social media.  Nguyen was responding to a speech by Democratic state Rep. Daniel Hernandez, who claimed that "white nationalism" was the greater threat to American democracy.

North Korean defector blasts flag-hating Olympian saying: 

Yeonmi Park said Berry likely would have been "executed" for disrespecting the flag of her former country.

The left has succeeded in dividing the nation – now what?

The left and its avatars (feminism, Antifa, BLM, Marxism, socialism, communism, environmentalism, etc.) is very effectively dividing America. Having taken over education, entertainment and social media, it is now endlessly engaged in pitting groups against each other. Blacks against whites. Haves against have nots. Rich against poor. Elite against plebeian. Religious against atheists. Gays against straights. Victims against oppressors. Women against men. Even the vaccinated against the unvaccinated. Have I missed anything?

As enemies of leftism, conservatives are – they must be – painted in the worse possible light: intolerant, racist, sexist, white supremacist, neo-Nazi, patriarchal and every other epithet you can dream up. But if you were to ask the common conservative on the street what his or her true bias is, it comes down to this: left against right.

Take racism, for example. The accusation of racism has become the default go-to allegation for anything and everything the left doesn't like. But Dennis Prager once wrote a column explaining how to tell whether or not someone is a racist in three easy questions:

1. Do you have more in common with, and are you personally more comfortable in the company of, a white leftist or a black conservative?

2. Would you rather have nine white leftists or nine black conservatives on the U.S. Supreme Court?

3. Would you rather your child marry a black Christian conservative or a white non-Christian liberal?

For a conservative the answers are easy.  We would go for the conservative, period!

So, what's this really all about?  This piece, UN Attacks Western Democracies for So-Called “Systemic Racism” lays a good foundation for understanding what's really going on saying:

The United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights just issued a report that focused on the alleged failure of the United States, Canada, and other Western democracies to adequately address and correct so-called “systematic racism” against Africans and people of African descent. The UN report, commissioned by the dysfunctional UN Human Rights Council, praised the Marxist Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement. And it parroted the Critical Race Theory’s attempt to tie every adverse condition and experience that blacks claim to suffer today in the U.S., Canada and other Western democracies to “systemic racism” rooted in the continuing legacy of slavery and colonialism.

If the left and the U.N. can get the western nations to agree to all this they will bankrupt the west, the United States, and freedom.  Their goal is to destroy the American identity, the American culture, the American economy, destroy capitalism and the U.S. Constitution and impose as socialist form of world governance, and make America pay for it.  Claims about racism is merely a tool working to that end.

Ibram X. Kendi’s Parents Worked to Give Him a Good Life. He Called Them Racists.

Ibram X. Kendi, the critical race theory prophet of his own twisted brand of antiracism, has become mandatory reading material at colleges, corporations, and in the military.

How to Be an Antiracist topped the New York Times bestseller list. Any of the progressive housewives, Fortune 500 executives, and assorted people being forced to page through the book would learn by the second chapter how Kendi’s middle-class black parents were racist.

“Both of my parents emerged from poor families, one from Northern urban projects, one from Southern rural fields. Both framed their rise from poverty into the middle class in the 1980s as a climb up the ladder of education and hard work. As they climbed, they were inundated with racist talking points about black people refusing to climb, the ones who were irresponsibly strung out on heroin or crack, who enjoyed stealing and being criminally dependent on the hard-earned money of climbing Americans like them,” Kendi writes. “My parents, along with many others in the new Black middle class, consumed these ideas.”

What makes these ideas racist? Believing that you can get ahead through hard work is whiteness talking. And expecting good habits to lead to good outcomes is racist because it ignores the systemic racism that makes success impossible for black people. Kendi’s parents, Larry and Carol Rogers, an accountant and business analyst, not only bought into the middle class dream, but they worked hard, and they succeeded at giving him a comfortable childhood.

"My parents... fed me the mantra that education and hard work would uplift me, just as it had uplifted them," Kendi agonizingly recalls. And if nothing else, he partially disproved them, becoming enormously successful on the back of education, but a worthless one in identity politics, and on denying the value of hard work.

"My parents—even from within their racial consciousness—were susceptible to the racist idea that it was laziness that kept black people down," he recalls.

Kendi’s problem is laziness, but it’s a particularly white kind of laziness. How to Be an Antiracist, like most critical race theory texts, leans heavily on the personal narrative of his particularly uninteresting life. Kendi manufactures victimhood out of thin air, when his father waves to him on the basketball court, he suggests that might have gotten him lynched or killed by the police.

His grandmother dies after a struggle with Alzheimer’s. "A disease more prevalent among African Americans," Kendi notes. "There may be no more consequential white privilege than life itself." Black people have a 3.5 percent higher prevalence of Alzheimer’s than white people for a disease that is the fifth most common cause of death among American senior citizens.

When your claim to oppression is your grandmother’s Alzheimer’s, you’re low on material.

But Kendi’s story is a familiar one to generations of white and then minority immigrants where the first generation labors hard to succeed, and then sends its kids to college only to have them come back as radicals who complain that their parents sold out by abandoning their dreams.

The old boomer paradigm that fed sixties white radicalism has kicked in among minority millennials of the upper middle class with a vengeance. The new black nationalist surge on college campuses largely owes its growth to privileged black men and women like Kendi, whose parents took the corporate route, while the kids rebelled and went into Black Studies.

“I always wonder what would have been if my parents had not let their reasonable fears stop them from pursuing their dreams,” Kendi whines. “Instead, Ma settled for a corporate career in healthcare technology. Dad settled for an accounting career. They entered the American middle class”.

Kendi’s racialism is reducible to that cliched radicalism of a son embarrassed by his insufficiently woke parents. It’s about as white as anything. And so is Kendi’s career which has taken him from condemning corporations to producing diversity content for corporations. Like most professional radicals, he wants to overthrow the system by becoming the system.

How to Be an Antiracist’s rants against “assimilationism” echo seventies black nationalism through modern personal identity politics that demands we acknowledge everyone’s identity. Whether it’s white people who insist that they’re Koreans, men who claim to be women, or corporate drones who insist they’re radicals, everyone wants to be who they aren’t.

Kendi’s fake African identity is a familiar brand of identity politics, but born out of the same shallow narcissism of a comfortable generation that seeks meaning in fake identities. A middle class kid named Henry Rogers is reborn as a black nationalist named Kendi. But the fake new identity doesn’t make him more authentic, but less so. The only way to assert a fake identity is for the man in the mask to go on a rampage against his authentic roots and his old past self.

If Obama’s racial memoirs were at least aspirational, Kendi’s is anti-aspirational.

Black people, whether it’s Kendi’s own parents, or black leaders from W.E. DuBois to Eleanor Holmes Norton are guilty of racism for urging achievement. Asking anyone, especially a member of a minority group, to work harder is racist. Suggesting that black people have problems that are caused by anything other than systemic racism is assimilationist.

And yet Kendi’s entire worldview, despite its trappings of sham Africanism, is white.

It’s not some imaginary whiteness, but that of academic identity politics which is absurdly white. Kendi’s parents may have been black, despite some distant white ancestor whom he makes much of, but his entire value system is derived from white political correctness.

He arrived at college "as a racist, sexist homophobe", Kendi writes. The fault was, as usual, his middle class parents. "Dad’s sexist ideas demanded he lead and Ma’s sexist ideas submitted. She would call him the head of the household. He would accept the calling." Horror of horrors.

Kendi’s parents “demonized” single mothers, along with drug dealers and criminals. He blames Reagan and internalized whiteness, but the black opposition to crime preceded Reagan and was a matter of basic self-interest that united the NAACP, the Nation of Islam, and everything in between. It took white people to redefine drug dealers as victims of white oppression.

The cult of the criminal in black activist circles is not a reflection of any organic movement within the black community, but the imposition of a white Marxist perspective. The collapse of support for police defunding in the black community in every poll shows just how alien it is. It’s every bit as alien as Kendi’s hostility to black masculinity which is equally white and assimilationist.

How to Be an Antiracist is meant to be part memoir, but Kendi doesn’t have much of a story to tell. That’s surprisingly commonplace among critical race theory memorists whose lack of interesting personal content, beginning with Ta-Nehisi Coates’ Between the World and Me, has only made their works more successful. If Obama’s memoirs offered elements of the exotic, the black middle class activist against whiteness succeeds because his story is familiarly white.

We have come a long way from Eldridge Cleaver’s Soul on Ice or Alex Haley’s dubious Malcolm X biography. Today’s black nationalist is a suburban college kid nurtured by a middle class two-parent family who denounces the suburbs, the middle class, and families like his as racist.

But the familiar problem, which Kendi only loosely describes in his chapter on dueling consciousness, and which is better embodied by the title of Black-ish, is that the generation of middle class black parents who kept their children safe from crime (Kendi’s father put up a basketball court in their backyard because he was worried about his son getting shot) succeeded all too well. Like too many generations of Irish, Italian, Jewish, Latino, and Asian parents, they raised radical woke snowflakes who are good for little except complaining.

Assimilationism has done its job all too well. The trouble is that the engines of assimilationism, universities, mass culture, and the upper middle class are assimilating the new generation out of America rather than into it, breeding dissatisfaction and nurturing radicalism as their identity.

Revolutions are made by the prosperous, not the dispossessed. Lenin, a member of a noble family, warred on the nobility. Castro, the son of a plantation owner, fought the plantations. Mao, the son of a landlord, oversaw the mass murder of landlords. The Left makes children into the enemies of the values of their parents. And How to Be an Antiracist is really a very old story about the resentments of middle class children who never really learned how hard life can be.

Ibram X. Kendi calls everything he doesn’t like racist. “Racist and antiracist are not fixed identities. We can be racist one minute and an antiracist the next,” he argues. Racism, like most identity politics tropes, is everywhere and nowhere. It’s an identity politics weapon that is an attack on identity while claiming to be a defense against attacks on identity.

Mostly racism consists of the common sense approaches of his parents to dealing with a dangerous world while antiracism consists of his clueless disregard for how life really works.

Kendi complains about the “constant fearmongering about Black drug dealers, robbers, killers,” of his parents, but young black men are far more likely to be killed by the former than by the police whom he and the Black Lives Matter movement fearmonger endlessly about.

His parents made a difficult journey that he does not understand and has no concept of how difficult it would be to recreate in his own privileged circumstances. That’s the same perch which countless of his white leftist peers occupy. It’s no wonder that he’s so popular with them.

How to Be an Antiracist doesn’t convey a racial crisis, but the crisis of an American upper middle class which has lost touch with its own roots and whose children have become an enemy of its aspirational values. That, more than anything else, is leading the country into the kind of shopworn Marxism that Kendi and other radicals peddle as narcissistic identity politics.

Defining everyone, including his parents, as racists, interpreting and reinterpreting the world through academic lenses, is the hobby of privileged people who don’t have real problems.

Ibram X. Kendi may not have real problems, but the rest of the country isn’t so privileged.

And Kendi has become another of the problems undermining the black community, destroying the middle class life his parents worked so hard to achieve, and tearing apart America.

Black Lives Matter: U.S. Flag is 'Racist'

On Independence Day the Black Lives Matter (BLM) chapter located in Utah posted on social media that the “American flag is now a hate symbol.”  The post, which went viral of course, caused somewhat of an uproar. Some Americans found the post ridiculous while some came out in full-throated defense of it.  Yet, less than a week after issuing its infamous post about the American flag, BLM Utah is back at it again.

And this time, the BLM Utah chapter didn’t hold anything back as it doubled down on its anti-American flag propaganda.  The post begins, “Now I have started a huge controversy. The media now has a hold of it. The controversy stems from me calling the American flag a symbol of hate. I stand by my words.”

It continues, “If you see that every person that hates you is carrying an American flag how would you feel about that flag? If every message of hate that you receive comes from a person flying that flag, how would you feel when you see that flag. I feel fear. That is not up for debate. I feel like the person flying it is racist, because every racist that I have come in contact with is either wearing that flag or flying that flag. I feel as if I should avoid that person because they may be dangerous.”

One thing that immediately struck me is the emphasis on “I feel.” This person may feel these things to be true, but he or she lacks any evidence to prove that what he or she feels is tethered to any facts or reality.

Another thing that must be addressed is the sheer embellishment of that nonsensical rant. It is patently absurd to associate the American flag with racism. The American flag is the symbol for a nation that has bent over backwards to ensure that all citizens have equal rights.............To Read More....

Is the United States Defined by 1619 or 1776?

Since this is America’s Independence Day, I’m going to continue my tradition (see 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020) of authoring a July 4-themed column.

What will make this year special, though, is that we’re going to tackle the heavy topic of whether the United States lives up to its own ideals.

Two years ago, the New York Times unveiled the “1619 Project,” which largely argues that slavery and racism are part of the nation’s DNA. The NYT states that the project “aims to reframe the country’s history by placing the consequences of slavery…at the very center of our national narrative.”

As a libertarian, I don’t believe our government is good and pure today, and I also don’t believe it was good and pure in the past. So I have no problem with a skeptical assessment of American history.

That being said, I have a positive view of America’s founding and consider the Declaration of Independence in 1776 and the unveiling of the Constitution in 1787 as victories for liberty.

But only partial victories. What happened in the late 1700s should be viewed as the beginning of a process that slowly but surely has extended the blessings of liberty to the broader population.

Just as Martin Luther King stated back in 1964, “the arc of the moral universe…bends toward justice.”

At the risk of oversimplifying, the 1619 Project has people fighting about two sides of the same coin.

• Some people say the story of the United States is bad because of a legacy of slavery, segregation, and racism.
• Other people say the story of the United States is good because of progress against slavery, segregation, and racism.

But the battle is about more than whether we have a glass-half-full or glass-half-empty view of history.

It’s also about fanciful claims, such as the assertion that the War of Independence was fought to preserve slavery. In an article for Quillette, Phillip Magness points out that historians almost universally reject that interpretation.

Critics on both the Left and Right took issue with the paper’s declared intention of displacing 1776 with the alternative date… For several months after the 1619 Project first launched, its creator and organizer Nikole Hannah-Jones doubled down on the claim.

“I argue that 1619 is our true founding,” she tweeted the week after the project launched. …the historical controversies around the 1619 Project intensified in late 2019 and early 2020. A group of five distinguished historians took issue with Hannah-Jones’s lead essay, focusing on its historically unsupported claim that protecting slavery was a primary motive of the American revolutionaries when they broke away from Britain in 1776. …

a historian who the Times recruited to fact-check Hannah-Jones’s essay revealed that she had warned the paper against publishing its claims about the motives of the American Revolution on account of their weak evidence. The 1619 Project’s editors ignored the advice.

Indeed, Magness’ article discusses how the New York Times has largely conceded it made a mistake and has “stealth edited” the 1619 website.

Magness also has criticized the way supporters of the 1619 Project are attempting to promote statist economic policies.

Here’s some what he wrote for the American Institute for Economic Research.

When I first weighed in upon the New York Times’ 1619 Project, I was struck by its conflicted messaging. …certain 1619 Project essayists infused this worthy line of inquiry with a heavy stream of ideological advocacy. Times reporter Nikole Hannah-Jones announced this political intention openly, pairing progressive activism with the initiative’s stated educational purposes. …

A historical discussion about the Constitution’s notoriously strained handling of slavery quickly drifted into a list of partisan grievances against the tax and health care policy views of congressional Republicans in the twenty-first century. …The 1619 Project, it seemed, could serve as both an enduring long-term curriculum for high school and college classrooms and an activist manual… This tendency finds its most visible display in…Matthew Desmond’s essay on the relationship between slavery and modern American capitalism. …

Lurking beneath it all was a long list of Desmond’s own modern progressive political causes—economic inequality…and a general disdain for deregulation and free market thought. In short, Desmond was weaponizing the history of slavery to attack modern capitalism.

If you want to spend 79 minutes learning about why Desmond is wrong, this Reason interview with Magness is very informative.

I’ll simply add that it’s absurd to link slavery with capitalism. In a laissez-faire society, government’s legitimate role is to protect the “negative rights” of life, liberty, and property.

Yet slavery is based on government laws that allow one person to own another person.

Let’s wrap up today’s column by looking at the future rather than the past.

In a book review for the Wall Street Journal, Jason Riley discusses Robert Woodson’s concerns that the 1619 Project may promote a victim mentality and discourage upward mobility.

Mr. Woodson is a veteran community activist who broke with the traditional civil-rights leadership in the 1970s after realizing that the agenda of “racial grievance groups” like the NAACP was increasingly at odds with the actual wants and needs of the black underclass. …After the New York Times published its “1619 Project”…he became incensed. …

Mr. Woodson responded by initiating his own project, “1776 Unites,” which enlisted a group of black scholars, journalists and social activists “who uphold the true origins of our nation and the principles through which its founding promise can be fulfilled.” …Mr. Woodson released “Red, White and Black: Rescuing American History from Revisionists and Race Hustlers.”

The book is a collection of essays by 1776 Unites participants, and its publication is a public service. …In the book’s introduction, Mr. Woodson writes that his goal is not to offer point-by-point rebuttals. Rather, he wants to “debunk the myth that present-day problems are related to our past . . . specifically, debunking the myth that slavery is the source of present-day disparities and injustice.”

Mr. Woodson understands that pointing out the moral shortcomings of others might prove cathartic, but it will do little if anything to facilitate black upward mobility. And he flatly rejects the notion that “the destiny of black Americans is determined by what whites do—or what they have done in the past,” which is otherwise known as critical race theory.

As I wrote a few days ago, critical race theory can be a helpful way to understand history, but it also can be harmful if it labels everyone as either a victim or an oppressor.

I much prefer how Walter Williams viewed race-related issues.

All Things Great and Small ....... Are Racist!, Part IV

I've been tracking all things being declared racist for some time, but these claims are now so persistent, and aggressive, I decided to organize them and post them.  I started with this first piece on April 11, All Things Great and Small.....Are Racist!.  The fact is, this has become so persistent and so pernicious I've turned this into a series.  This administration, the media, and all those who are Woke are making these claims of racism the standard by which everyone must rally under.  

On April 11 I posted, All Things Great and Small ........Are Racist, followed by Part II on April, then on May 3rd. I posted Part III, all of which is testimony of how dangerous this has become to the continued existence of America as we know it.

 So then, and once again, the title of this article is based on that great British TV series which ran between 1978 and 1990 called  All Creatures Great and Small about British veterinarians in the 1930's.  Although the Church of Wokeness hasn't passed judgement yet, it was clearly racist!  Why?  There weren't any blacks in the show, which is clearly one of the arcane identifying clues used by the congregants of the Church of Wokeness to declare that something, anything, or for that matter, everything is racist, including....and get this..........Bird Names are now Racist. 

According to this June 22, 2021 article by Eric Utter the names of birds must be changed because so many of them were named by William Alexander Hammond, who happened to use the "N" word, and since he wasn't a rap artist or black, all that he accomplished must be "eviscerated from the face of the Earth", including the names he coined for the birds he identified. 

He makes an observation that should be obvious to the most casual observer:

In the same article, J. Drew Lanham, a Black ornithologist, is quoted saying that “conservation has been driven by white patriarchy.” Really? Could it be that whites organized and catalogued most of the natural world in part to protect it when no one else was doing so?  

He then makes another observation that also should be obvious to the most casual observer: 

There is no end to what one can find offensive if one is desperately looking to be offended.

Then of course there's this overriding issue of trees.  Trees, the presence of them or the lack of them, is, or can be declared racist.  Again, Eric Utter brings another racist outrage to our attention in his piece  'Tree Inequity' plaguing, noting"

It's worse than we thought.  It's bad enough that "peoples of color" are victims of racist math and racist bird names, but now we know they are also made to suffer from "tree inequity."..........The group claims that trees are disproportionally planted in those wealthier and whiter neighborhoods and that this has "deprived many communities of color of the health and other benefits that sufficient tree cover can deliver."  The USFS funds the utilization of a 100-point system to determine whether there are "enough" trees planted in a given neighborhood, known as the new Tree Equity Score............Conversely, the extraordinary numbers of well-off white people living in desert communities in Arizona and other locations often have few or no trees on their properties.  So perhaps, say, the Department of the Interior can institute new Cactus Equity and Golf Hole Equity scores.

National Archives Are Now Racist  by Matt Vespa:

 

The National Archives' task force on racism claimed in a little-noticed report to the U.S.’s top librarian that the Archives' own Rotunda – which houses the Declaration of Independence, the U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights – is an example of "structural racism" and that the Founding Fathers and other White, historically impactful Americans are portrayed too positively.

 

Not only are the National Archives racist, it turns out the  Rotunda is structurally racist, and it needs safe spaces and trigger warnings, saying:  

 

It’s time to “reimagine the Rotunda”. That is the conclusion reached in a report released by the National Archives’ task force on racism. The National Archives Rotunda is an example of structural racism and the Founding Fathers are portrayed too positively.........the white Founding Fathers were racists who do not deserve to be recognized for their role in creating the world’s greatest experiment in self-governance. Structural racism “unequivocally impacts” how employees of the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) interact with each other, visitors, and the historical records, too.

What does that conclusion even mean? Most of the changes needed are in the use of language and the need to stop “lauding” white men..............The Archive wants to literally re-write history, apparently. You can’t make this stuff up. 

 It turns out black holes are racist.  Cornell course teaches black holes could be linked to ‘racial blackness’

Cornell University has introduced an astronomy course to explore the connection between the term black holes and “racial blackness” — proof, say critics, that even the hard sciences aren’t immune to universal “racial hysteria.” The course, titled “Black Holes: Race and the Cosmos,” uses work from black studies theorists, artists and fiction writers to challenge “conventional wisdom” about the role that race plays in astronomy.

“Conventional wisdom would have it that the ‘black’ in black holes has nothing to do with race. Surely there can be no connection between the cosmos and the idea of racial blackness. Can there?” reads the college catalog description.  Students at the Ivy League school are taught that readings, music and art “implicitly and explicitly posit just such a connection,” according to the description.

In this piece, Michigan Professor Among Those Declaring Correct Grammar Is Racist, an associate Professor of Language, Literacy, and English Education at Michigan State University, April Baker-Bell,  argued:

 

[the]idea of Standard English among teachers is used to maintain racist assumptions about “Black language.”  Bell stated it is evident that “anti-Blackness that is used to diminish black language of Black students in classrooms is not separate from the rampant and deliberate anti-black racism and violence inflicted upon black people in society.”“Teacher attitudes include assumptions that Black students are somehow linguistically, morally, and intellectually inferior because they communicate in Black language,”.......“The repeated references to ‘correct grammar’ and ‘standard language’ reinforce master narratives of English only as White and monolingualism and a deficit view of multilingualism......” 

 

So then, everyone should speak any language they choose, no matter how incomprehensible it may be to most of society?   So then the answer must be a returning to the Tower of Babel scenario to this non problem?   Do I understand that correctly?  Of is it possible this is nothing more than an excuse for the fact blacks are failing at a huge rate in public and higher education, and misdirection from the fact education in America is a failure across the board, and she and her colleagues are part of the problem.   

 

I just covered insane commentaries from those in academia.  The real question we should be asking is how do these blithering idiots land these cushy irresponsible jobs?  Answer?  Higher education is a snare and a racket controlled by leftist misfits, and both of these pieces are solid arguments for eliminating funding for higher education.

This must have really been a shock to Tom Hanks, NPR Attacks Tom Hanks' "Whiteness",  How "anti-racism" is rewiring our brains.  While Hanks has supported most issues of the left, it appears no one can be left enough, even after he posted a piece about how everyone should know about the 1921 Tulsa race war. 

However, apparently this isn't enough for the congregants of the Church of Wokeness and NPR.  You see, being a "Non-Racist" is insufficient.  He now needs to be "Anti-Racist".   It turns out his work has focused entirely too much of the accomplishment of white people, so that's made it difficult of focus on the 1921 Tulsa race war.  Which I find interesting since I've know about it since 1960, and I was 14, so what prevented everyone from knowing about this?  

 

NPR claims it's:

 

" Tom Hanks, Ron Howard, and Steven Spielberg made it impossible for anyone to make films about black people facing discrimination, because they all made successful movies that didn't feature black people facing discrimination. "Hanks and other stars need to talk specifically about how their work has contributed to these problems and how they will change. They need to make specific commitments to changing the conversation in story subjects, casting and execution. That is the truly hard work of building change." Part of that work is to "dismantle" ideas of white American men being heroes."

 

How about this as the real answer?  Reading?  If the leftist dominated education system was working as they claim, how could the nation be ignorant of this event?  Let's get this clear once and for all.  American education is a disaster.  Reading, writing, and arithmetic clearly isn't part of the curriculum.  How do I know that?  They don't read, they can't read well, they can't spell, they can't speak properly and without a calculator, they can't add, subtract, multiple and divide accurately. 

 

They reason so many don't know about this is because they don't read, and it the lack of reading that causes ignorance, but ignorance only means we don't know, so ignorance is fixable by learning, but that requires reading.   When people refuse to do that they're no longer just ignorant, they're ignorant and stupid, and unfortunately, we're finding they're arrogant in the ignorance and stupidity.

 "The revolution eats its young," .........even a leftist hero like Hanks is not above an attack from the left reminds leftists: you can never be too pure. You must always be on your toes; you must always watch your back. A moment's deviation can result in a lifetime in the Gulag or an ice pick to the skull. The leftist revolution's mandate is always to destroy, never to create. You may as well cut your teeth by destroying the comrade standing next to you, in the same way that newborn hyenas routinely bite their twin siblings to death.

 

So, portraying white heroes promotes racism, then maybe what he should have done is portray black heroes?   Oh, wait, that would be cultural misappropriation.  And that's racist! 

Marjorie Taylor Greene Noticed Something in the Infrastructure Bill That Everyone Missed

Even a race baiting, diversity promoting fraudulent mentally challenged President can't be excused for a  lack of purity by Church of Wokeness.   AOC Rips Biden Infrastructure Deal: All-White Bipartisan Negotiators Benefit ‘Structural Racism", and even capitalism is racist, as the Navy Chief of Operations, who's promoting all the insanity of the left into the military. refused to answer if capitalism is racist.  Clearly he was afraid to answer that question for fear of offending his new masters, the Magi of Madness at the Church of Wokeness.

 

Vince Coyner posted this piece asking, So America is racist? He points out something I keep harping on, definition, because it's definition that lead to clarity, saying

 

One would think, if America is to be considered a racist country, we'd want to know the definition of the word.  Who better to get that definition from than a giant of the anti-racist movement, Ibram X. Kendi, the author of How to Be an Antiracist?  Here's Mr. Kendi's definition of racism: "I would define it as a collection of racist policies that lead to racial inequity that are substantiated by racist ideas..."  Apparently, Dr. Kendi missed that day in kindergarten where the teacher said, "You cannot use the word you're trying to define in the definition of that same word."

Despite the dearth of data demonstrating that America is made up of actual racists, and indeed extraordinary proof to the contrary, the left persists...........  By proffering the fiction that America is racist, Kendi, the Democrats, and their comrades are leading the country into an inferno from which escape, in one piece and as one people, is highly unlikely

Finally, Swastikas in the brickwork, and the author points out, something that really is obvious to any rational person;  If you look for something hard enough, you'll eventually find it — even if it's not really there

A BLM Supporter Tried to Kill a Police Officer: That's the Terrorist Threat We're Not Discussing

Briana Sykes spent over a year broadcasting the racist hate of the Black Lives Matter movement. Last year, she reposted a message from Senator Bernie Sanders, promoted by BLM activist Shaun King, stirring up anger over false claims about Breonna Taylor, who was killed when her drug dealer boyfriend opened fire on police.

“Our criminal justice system is racist,” the Sanders smear of the police falsely claimed.

Shortly afterward she posted an anti-police cartoon distributed by the Black Berner Coalition.

Briana promoted a Black Lives Matter "economic boycott" and the claim that BLM rioters were "compelled to burn s___ down" because they're an "oppressed group".

Over the summer, the same account linked to Briana Sykes spread disinformation that the Trump administration had "literally killed hundreds of protesters in front of the White House". The #DCBlackout hoax was spread by pro-BLM accounts. It was not clear who was behind a seeming attempt at inciting violence, but researchers suspect it was an enemy government.

And then after over a year of hate and Bernie Sanders memes, Briana Sykes tried to murder a police officer at a Juneteenth parade in Flint, Michigan.

According to authorities, Briana drove up to a police officer and opened fire on him. The officer shot back, wounding the 19-year-old woman. While the officer wasn’t hit, according to a black eyewitness, he “fell to the ground crying because… he didn’t want to do whatever he had to do.”

A fellow officer, black, is seen assisting him on the video.

Cell phone video appears to show that the unnamed white officer was still trying to give her a chance to surrender, shouting, “Show me your hands!”

Risking his life to avoid another police shooting didn’t pay off. It happened anyway.

The local BLM chapter’s social media responded to the shooting with hate and incitement.

“We have been inculcated to accept Native Black people being MURDERED at the hands of “PROTECT AND SERVE”!“ one poster shrieked. “WE ARE NOT IGNORANT! We also call for first degree murder charges and that this killer cop’s pension be forfeited!”

Briana Sykes died at the hospital and now authorities are trying to figure out her motive.

But the motive is all over her social media which is littered with BLM anti-police hate. Some of that hate intersects with Bernie Sanders material. The two vectors of radicalization are clear and outside the new domestic terrorism guidelines drawn up by the Biden Administration.

Senate Democrats, led by Senator Cory Booker and Kamala Harris, had already pressured the FBI to stop monitoring black nationalist hate groups.“So, you no longer use the term Black Identity Extremism,” Booker had grilled FBI Director Christopher Wray. “That's great news.”

It was terrible news for local police and the Jewish community in Jersey City which came under attack by two black nationalist terrorists. But the new Biden domestic terrorism guidelines compound the problem that may have led to the mass shooting at a Jewish supermarket by separating out white nationalists while classifying black nationalists as “anti-government”.

The Biden terrorism guidelines describe Micah X. Johnson, the black nationalist activist who murdered 5 white Dallas police officers, as an anti-government extremist. Johnson was one of a number of BLM supporters who killed or tried to kill police officers. Briana Sykes is just the latest. And while Democrat House members have celebrated Capitol Police personnel, they’ve shown no interest in the hundreds of police officers wounded in their BLM race riots.

That’s because the Democrat establishment is deeply entangled with the racist hate group.

In Flint, the scene of the latest BLM terrorist attack, Mayor Sheldon Neeley had created a Black Lives Matter Advisory Council for the local police and had joined the hate group's local rallies. Chief Phil Hart had forced Truth, Racial Healing, and Transformation training on the police.

Pandering to the black nationalist pro-crime hate group backfired in Flint, as it did everywhere else, with a 32% increase in murders while non-fatal shootings doubled. By the time the Juneteenth parade arrived there wasn’t much to celebrate in Flint. Just more killing.

What role did the promotion of Black Lives Matter by Flint Democrats play in the radicalization of Briana Sykes? And what impact did the Bernie Sanders fanbase, who have become notorious for promoting disinformation and extremist material, have on her state of mind?

In 2017, James Hodgkinson, a Bernie Sanders supporter, opened fire on Republicans at a charity baseball game in D.C. The FBI covered up the terrorist attack by falsely claiming that Hodgkinson had been trying to commit suicide and had not been targeting anyone despite his possession of a target list and a conversation in which he specifically sought out Republicans.

Hodgkinson, like Briana Sykes, had spent a lot of time spreading hate on Facebook. He had even belonged to a group named, “Terminate the Republican Party”.

It’s likely that this latest shooting by a radicalized Bernie Sanders supporter will be treated the same way. But even while the Biden administration defines Trump supporters as terrorists, the Bernie Sanders base and Black Lives Matter remind us who the real terrorists are.

What made Briana Sykes open fire on a police officer? The answer is right in front of us.

Democrats and their media are inciting violence against the police. It can’t come as a surprise when someone takes their big lie that police officers are racist killers and acts on it.

Briana Sykes was an ordinary product of her environment. She spent her time online listening to music celebrating violence and imbibing political propaganda demonizing the police. We don’t know exactly what went through her mind, but after being told for years that police officers plot to kill black people, she might have decided that any officer she saw was coming to kill her.

While the media has demanded that Facebook and other social media platforms censor conservatives, it has shown no interest in shutting down the kind of leftist disinformation that may have radicalized Hodgkinson and Sykes. That’s because it’s their disinformation.

Briana’s death will only feed the cycle of extremism as BLM supporters use her death to transform her into a martyr to their racist cause. Like any terrorist organization, the death of its own people fuels the BLM momentum. Every black person killed in a confrontation with a police officer incites more violence and more payouts. The ugly reality of Briana’s death is that she died trying to murder a police officer so that the Democrats who ruined her city and state can rig more elections, and so that BLM leaders can buy more mansions.
