UN Blocks Aid to Gaza to Fake a Famine

Every day, the UN, international organizations and the media claim that everyone in Gaza is starving to death because they have no food and every day Israel’s COGAT aid coordination agency lists exactly how many trucks filled with humanitarian aid have actually entered Gaza.

On Jan 2, for example, 189 trucks filled with aid entered Gaza. Only 147 trucks however were collected on the Gazan side with another 800 trucks worth of aid waiting to be collected. Food has been piling up and rotting on the Gaza side because it’s not being delivered by the UN.

Politicians, activists and the media have spent over a year perpetuating a myth that Israel is blocking food deliveries into Gaza when there is actually more aid coming in than the aid groups complaining about Israel ‘blocking aid’ can handle or be bothered to deliver to Gazans.

While the aid sits there and rots, the UN and ‘humanitarian’ agencies claim that it’s too dangerous for them to deliver the food. Israel has offered to provide security for aid deliveries, but those offers have been rejected since the UN is coordinating with Hamas.

As a New York Times article described, “the United Nations does not allow Israeli soldiers to protect aid convoys, fearing that would compromise its neutrality, and its officials have called on Israel to allow the Gaza police, which are under Hamas’s authority, to secure their convoys.”

The United Nations claims that Israel is starving Gaza when it’s the UN that is actually stalling aid deliveries to save Hamas. The UN and other agencies claim that it’s too dangerous to deliver the aid without Hamas protection. Not only do they refuse Israeli military protection, but many won’t even hire private security inside Gaza. They demand only Hamas protection.

Mercy Corps, for example, issued a statement blasting Israel for supposed “impediments to aid delivery” and demanded a crackdown on Israel. Mercy Corps claimed that “this is a preventable crisis. No one should starve to death when food is waiting to reach them mere miles away” while calling for a ceasefire. An NPR story however revealed that “some organizations have hired armed men in Gaza to protect their trucks, but most, including Mercy Corps, refuse to do this.”

A Gaza “humanitarian snapshot” hosted by Mercy Corps complained about “Israeli attacks on the civilian police force, hindering their ability to work safely.” The “police” being Hamas.

The UN and ‘humanitarian’ groups are not only complicit with Hamas and have enabled the Islamic terror group to gain half a billion dollars to keep the war going, but they are holding humanitarian aid hostage to protect Hamas terrorists and end Israel’s war on Hamas.

Delivering aid was never the actual objective of the UN and aid groups. They partnered with Hamas to take Gaza’s population hostage and use them as human shields to save Hamas.

Contrary to their constant famine lies, no amount of aid is ever enough and the current aid is rotting unused because they insist that aid can’t be ‘safely’ delivered without Hamas in charge.

The false claims of a famine require false statistics used to disguise this terrorist conspiracy.

The UN and aid agencies, including those funded by the U.S. government, inflate the amount of people in Gaza and use fake statistics to claim there’s less aid coming in than there actually is.

Recently the Famine Early Warning System (FEWS), which is funded by USAID, took down a report falsely claiming that there were 75,000 starving civilians in North Gaza. The actual number of civilians was between 7,000 to 15,000. After criticism from the U.S. ambassador, FEWS admitted that it was using “outdated population estimates” that increased the population in North Gaza by 5 to 10 times. And that allowed the group to falsely warn of a famine.

Increase the population in even the wealthiest nations tenfold and it becomes easy enough to label the existing amount of food as inadequate and warn that a famine is about to take hold.

The UN falsely claimed that 2,205 “humanitarian trucks were permitted to enter” Gaza in December. The actual number was over 5,000 trucks, but the UN was only counting trucksaffiliated with its own organizations, the World Food Programme and UNRWA (but, for whatever reason, not UNICEF), or the many other humanitarian groups who were also handling aid.

Were these accidental errors? If so they were suspiciously timed.

In December 2023, an arm of the UN, predicted a famine by May 2024. And in May 2024, the UN reported that only 1,497 trucks had entered Gaza, when the actual number was 6,359.

Was it a coincidence that the UN’s undercounting of aid trucks was by far the highest in the one month in which it predicted a famine? Or that similar patterns have occurred in the past.

After the latest lie fell apart, international aid groups have pivoted to claiming that children are freezing to death in Gaza even though current temperatures are between 67 and 59 degrees and the overnight low was 47 degrees. After one hoax is discredited, another one begins.

The purpose of these hoaxes is to collect as much money as possible and to save Hamas.

The UN’s World Food Programme is demanding $16.9 billion for 2025 and other ‘humanitarian’ aid groups have been aggressively fundraising, but the larger agenda is to protect the terrorists.

There is no humanitarian crisis in Gaza, the only crisis is that Islamic terrorists are losing a war that they started. International organizations have become an arm of Islamic terrorism, funding, employing and lobbying for Islamic terrorist organizations who are at war with the free world.

Not only should we not fund the UN and other ‘aid groups’, or provide them with tax-exempt status, we should sanction them for their financial and political relationships with Islamic terrorist organizations and treat any money going to their operations in Gaza, Yemen, Syrian, Afghanistan and other terror zones as a criminal act of providing material support to terrorists.

The Depressing Saga of Cuban Socialism

Since I’m a numbers wonk, I think the most powerful evidence for the failure of Cuban socialism is comparing that nation’s growth (or lack thereof) to what’s happened in Taiwan and (pre-crackdown) Hong Kong.

 

They all had similar levels of economic development 60-70 years ago.  But Taiwan and Hong Kong then zoomed ahead thanks to pro-market policies while communist-run Cuba has largely stagnated. While decades of data tell a compelling story, it also is instructive to examine how ordinary people suffer because of Cuba’s socialist system.  Here are some depressing excerpts from a recent Reuters report by Mario Fuentes and Alien Fernandez.

Cuba’s communist-run government on Monday slashed by a quarter the weight of its subsidized ration of daily bread, the latest shortage to strain a decades-old subsidies scheme created by the late Fidel Castro. The bread…will be reduced from 80 grams to 60 grams (2.1 oz), or approximately the weight of an average cookie or a small bar of soap. …The Caribbean island nation is suffering from extreme shortages of food, fuel and medicine, shortfalls that have primed a record-breaking exodus of its citizens to the nearby United States. …

Cuba earlier this year sought help from the World Food Programme to guarantee the supply of subsidized powdered milk for children, another key staple of the Cuban ration book that has recently grown scarce. Beyond the few remaining centrally planned economies like Cuba’s and North Korea’s, rationing is typically only used during war-time, natural disasters or specific contingencies.

Cookie-sized bread rations? If nothing else, the Cuban system probably limits obesity.  For our next example, I’ll start by reminding people how Venezuela’s socialists ruined that country’s once-strong oil sector.

Well, Cuba’s socialists are doing the same thing to that nation’s once-iconic sugar industry. Here are some excerpts from a BBC story by Will Grant.

For hundreds of years, sugar was the mainstay of the Cuban economy. It was not just the island’s main export but also the cornerstone of another national industry, rum. …Today, though, …the sugar industry as broken and depressed as it is now – not even when the Soviet Union’s lucrative sugar quotas dried up after the Cold War. …”There’s not enough trucks and the fuel shortages mean sometimes several days pass before we can work,” says Miguel, waiting in a tiny patch of shade for the Soviet-era lorries to arrive. …Last season, Cuba’s production fell to just 350,000 tonnes of raw sugar, an all-time low for the country, and well below the 1.3 million tonnes recorded in 2019. …Cuba now imports sugar to meet domestic demand – once unthinkable, and a far cry from the glory years when Cuban sugar was the envy of the Caribbean and exported around the world.

Cuba importing sugar?!?

Reminds me of Milton Friedman’s sarcastic quote about government and the Sahara Desert.

Only Cuba has turned satire into reality.

Let’s close by debunking (again) the silly notion that Cuba has an admirable healthcare system. Daniel Raisbeck and Jim Epstein wrote about the system for Reason. Here are some highlights.

“If there’s one thing they do right in Cuba, it’s health care,” said Michael Moore in a 2007 interview. “Cuba has the best health care system in the entire area,” according to Angela Davis… It’s a testament to the effectiveness of the Castro regime’s propaganda apparatus that this myth, so deeply at odds with reality, has persisted for so long. “The Cuban health care system is destroyed,” Rotceh Rios Molina, a Cuban doctor who escaped the country’s medical mission while stationed in Mexico…

“People are dying in the hallways,” says José Angel Sánchez, another Cuban doctor who defected from the medical mission in Venezuela… Clinics lack the most routine supplies, from antibiotics to oxygen and even running water, and their hallways are often occupied by ailing patients because there aren’t enough doctors to treat their most basic needs. Cuban hospitals are unsanitary and decrepit. It’s exactly what you’d expect in a country impoverished by communism.

Gee, isn’t socialism wonderful?

P.S. Our friends on the left are a bit sensitive about Cuba, such as Bernie Sanders. What’s most laughable is that some of them even concoct measures (such as the “Happy Planet Index” and Jeffrey Sachs’ estimate of progress on social development goals) purporting to show Cuba ahead of the United States. But at least everyone is equally poor!

America’s Shrinking Farmland Threatens Food Security

Around the world, farmland is being converted to residential and industrial uses as farms consolidate, urban populations strain land resources, and narrow profit margins discourage would-be farmers. This shrinkage of agricultural acreage has been underway in America and Western Europe for a century. Climate change policies under the Biden administration have flushed renewable manufacturing industries with a trillion dollars in taxpayer funds, stimulating land price inflation, rewarding a handful of “stakeholders,” and pummeling local farms. The nation’s future food security is endangered.

Indiana’s Farmland Shrinkage

A study commissioned by the Indiana legislature in 2023 determined the state had lost 345,682 acres of farmland from 2010 to 2022. The detailed analysis states: “The results show that agricultural land was most likely to be lost in areas around the edges of cities and suburban areas.” The legislature notes in its recommendations:

“Consider what is an alarming level of lost farmland acres as it pertains to food security. When should a county, state or the country be concerned? Task the legislature to consider the threshold in which the lost number of acres significantly reduces access to food.”

Addressing the 2022 US Census of Agriculture data showing the nation’s farmland had shrunk by 2% since 2017, and the number of farmers had declined 7%, USDA Secretary Tom Vilsack recently expressed this ominous query: “Are we okay with losing that much farmland or is there a better way?”

Finding a ‘Better Way’

There is, of course, a better way – but farmers and local food production are eclipsed in Washington by corporate lobbyists, animal rights activists, climate cultists, conservationists, and environmentalists. The Biden administration has increased endangered species regulations that requires 30% of all American land be preserved as wild and launched a massive spending spree on renewable energy manufacturing. All that competes for space with prime farmland across the nation.

Indiana’s investigation reports that overall agricultural productivity for the state increased over the same period, likely attributable to advances in GMO (genetically modified organisms) technologies in corn and soy crops. However, 39% of the nation is currently farmland. If social justice ideologues attack cows as destructive to the climate, vegans condemn omnivores as barbarians, factories and swimming pools replace pastures, vast areas are eminently domained into “rewilding,” and solar panel arrays eclipse renewable grass blades, where exactly will the nation’s food be produced?

Perhaps yet more gleaming factories will be constructed on once-productive farmland to grow synthetic meats from calf fetuses in stainless-steel tanks or house billions of roaches, worms, or spiders for processing into bug-burgers. That is the globalist way.

Greenhouse gases and alleged climate change have been leveraged to wage war on farmers and rural Americans for a quick gorging at the government’s pig trough. These same policies would afford nearly limitless power to national or globalist authorities to dominate what humanity eats, drinks, drives, and thinks. The world is told that not only cows and land but also the entire food chain must be taken over to stave off global warming!

The foundation of liberty has always been local food supplies, which are now rapidly consolidated and regulated. As American novelist and poet Wendell Berry cautioned, “Small-scale, diverse farms are the best defense against a dangerous concentration of power.”

The power is concentrating, and it aspires to control food. Farmland isn’t just for Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg anymore. As the number of American-owned family farms declines, foreign ownership of US farmland has escalated. A USDA Farm Service Agency Report of foreign land holdings through December 31, 2020, reflected this accelerating trend:

“Foreign persons held an interest in nearly 37.6 million acres of U.S. agricultural land as of December 31, 2020. This is 2.9 percent of all privately held agricultural land and 1.7 percent of all land in the United States … This is an increase of over 2.4 million acres from the December 31, 2019 report.

Farming Solar Panels in Lieu of Food

Ironically, the Indiana study included solar panel arrays as farmland in its calculations: “Agriculture officials relied on data from the state Department of Local Government Finance [DLGF] and the U.S. Department of Agriculture to create its findings. The report stated that the DLGF includes uses like renewable energy in its counting for farmland.” This is par for the fraudulent renewables course. The Department of Energy boasts:

“Since President Biden took office, across the nation, companies have announced more than 500 planned investments in at least 450 new or expanded clean energy manufacturing facilities totaling over $160 billion in announced private and public sector investments into solar; electric vehicle assembly, components, and chargers; battery; and offshore wind manufacturing.”

Donald Trump was widely mocked for references to “clean coal.” Yet, clean energy manufacturing facilities for solar, EV components, batteries, and wind turbines all generate massive amounts of toxic chemical pollution, including innumerable “forever chemicals.”

These allegedly climate-saving factories and the suburban sprawl they seed eat up farmland, sparing the landscape the supposed scourge of grazing cows but intruding ever more between consumers and the soil microbiome that sustains them.

Welcome to Our Snake Oil World

Remember when the "Wonderful World of Disney" was enjoyed and loved by so many? Well, it's not any longer, and I'm glad Walt's dead and can't see what's happened to his Wonderful World.  Who could have dreamed anyone could have so thoroughly destroyed the wholesome entertainment Walt Disney presented to the world?   And that destructive behavior is ubiquitous.  Who replaced that wholesomeness with what we're seeing in the world today?  

Answer: The all wise, all knowing, all seeing, all powerful snake oil salesmen masquerading as world and national leaders. As Mark Twain said to a snake oil salesman. 

“You, sir, are the scion of an ancestral procession of idiots stretching back to the Missing Link”

A clear definition for these leftists who promote their corruption with fraudulent elections,  bad entertainment, multiple genders, treasonous government, failed  immigration, lies offered as intelligence, corrupt justice, fake meat, false medicine, propaganda as news, paid protestors, false racism, junk science, and a lot of real trouble!

I really love this fake meat issue.  They're even trying to force people to eat bugs, and naturally "that is a must" if we're to save the world from the disaster of global warming.  Global warming, a blatantly unscientific fraud.  Imagine that, eating bugs to save the world from a problem that doesn't exist.   Now, I have to ask: Who wouldn't want to be on board with that?  

The WEF even wants to ban home grown food.  And once again, an absolute necessity if we're to save the world from global warming.   Is global warming really terrible?  Well, here's a list of all the things global warming causes.  There's just no end to the horrors of global warming.  Unless of course it's all junk science, and it is.

This isn't the first time leftists tried to force people to eat what they tell them to eat versus what they want to eat. In 1930 Italy's fascists wanted to stop Italians from eating pasta.  What, no pasta in Italy? And why?   Because pasta was unhealthy and pasta was prevented Italy from progressing.  Right?  So, what was their solution?  They promoted rice, but it turned out there was an economic ulterior motive for that.  Rice could be easily grown in Italy, and a lot of wheat had to be imported.  

But no matter, that was just a temporary fix anyway, until they could replace all of that silly food with their "ultimate solution"....which was..."the government...... [would] replace all food with nutritional pills, powders, and other artificial substitutes."  Wow!  That really sounds tasty........... don't you think? 

In May protestors at UCLA found it unacceptable the university was blocking food and water from coming in to their illegal encampment.  According to them, "this is not normal. It’s unacceptable.”  With one nitwit faculty member saying all this was "torturing protestors".   

So....I'm gonna take a long shot guess here and say a hunger strike is out of the question for these protesters?  Waddayathink?   From the look of some of the “ladies”, they weren't gonna starve to death that afternoon.

I would love to know if this nitwit “faculty” member got fired. She certainly should have.  What company employee would be allowed to get away with this kind of crap in the real world?   Can you imagine a company executive, or any company employee, going out and bringing food to strikers, and not getting fired? I can’t, and she needs fired.

Protestors are the least of UCLA's problems.  It turns out their embrace of DEI is turning out  medical students that are a disaster.  Why? To fix the world of it's institutional racism of course.  After all:  "All Things Great and Small.....Are Racist".  

Academia is in serious need of purging, and that should start with an amputation of all their funding, end tenure, and make it illegal for them to accept foreign donations, and foreign students, which is a serious source of funding.  These students will not become Americanized any more than all those who received Rhodes Scholarships became Anglicized.

Biden Joins Globalists to Undermine Farmers

Wildlife regulations endanger food supplies.

The most recent attacks on farming by the Biden administration unveiled recently are cloaked in wildlife protection regulations. At the end of September, a broad coalition of “farmers, cattle ranchers, hunters, landowners and energy companies,” according to Fox Digital, pushed back on the US Fish and Wildlife Service, claiming the rules are capricious, overly broad, and inflexible. Detailed analysis and balancing of economic impacts are being swept aside in order to extend protections to “threatened” as well as “endangered” species and remove consideration of economic impacts. This imbalance will greatly burden many farmers already struggling to produce healthful food.

Patented Food

Agricultural consolidation in recent decades has quietly eviscerated most of the mid-sized American farms that historically produced the bulk of Americans’ food. As with most federal food and agriculture regulations, large farming operations are more able to comply with complex regulations than smaller businesses. The expanded wildlife regulations will similarly hurt smaller farms, though even larger producers are crying foul.

There is a pattern to the destruction of independent farms and food production. Federal and state rules coupled with subsidies that favor large enterprises farming monocultures such as corn, wheat, and soybeans have steadily worn down small-scale farms. The advent of GMO technologies also favored large-scale production, dependent on chemicals and patented seeds. Inexorably, food has become patented in every facet.

Not yet patented are animals, particularly cows. It is noteworthy that they are being targeted for their flatulence, while the noxious and exponentially more toxic effluent from swine and chicken farms goes uncondemned. However, the megacorporations that now dominate most American food production already control those industries indirectly, as they are dependent on grains that are patented and oligopilized. Cows, sheep, and goats can be raised solely on grass and bred without corporate consent.

Now, the globalist players have circled their cow-condemning wagons in concert. The United Nations, World Economic Forum, and World Resources Council (to the glee of PETA) have raised a cowcophany of derision against bovines that is anything but scientific: It is a colossal scam. Humanity is told it must eradicate 80-90% of meat from its diet to stave off that nebulous bogeyman, “climate change.” Cows on grass avoid chemical- and fossil-fuel-dependent grains entirely while rebuilding and fertilizing soils, sequestering more carbon dioxide than forests or anaerobic digestors. They also provide healthful meat. Bovines have become scapegoats, while the anthropomorphic warming generated by the Ukraine war is simply ignored.

In the midst of this war against cows, POTUS has announced expansions of rules protecting wildlife that threaten an already endangered food supply. The American Farm Bureau Federation (AFBF) strongly opposes this regulatory creep:

“Federal regulations have a direct impact on farmers and ranchers, and over the years, the breadth and extent of that regulatory landscape have increased. AFBF has taken a stand against regulatory overreach and is working to reform the federal regulatory process and preserve farmers’ and ranchers’ land-use and water rights.”

The American Soybean Association observed in public comments that these new wildlife rules “impose stricter than necessary limitations for U.S. farmers and other stakeholders” and will “result in significant reductions to land values and impede the economic use of property for landowners … whose properties overlap with a listed species’ range.” The rules often provide weak guidance for farmers and ignore economic balancing of the impacts on wildlife and on farmers or food supplies.

There is a long history of politics either purposely or inadvertently creating carnage through interference with farming. Whether that’s Joseph Stalin killing tens of millions in the dekulakization of his newfound empire, including some six million Ukrainians, or Mao’s Great Leap Forward which took over farms and killed some 50 million Chinese in famine. The greatest resistance to such food tyranny is self-reliance and secure local food supplies, in fact, the polar opposite of the push towards synthetic meats and insect burgers, in the name of protecting endangered species and the world.

My Take - Just like that snob Wellington, the elitists are outraged that all these cheeky peasants keep getting uppity, and actually want good things in their lives.  Can you imagine that?  But, why should we be surprised?   That's exactly how the slave owners felt and how they treated their slaves.  Okay, now let's take a minute and ask ourselves this question:  To which political party did they belong to?  Why, ....they.. were.. all..., each and every one of them, Democrats!  Imagine that.  Tell me, do you know many slaves were owned by Republicans?  None!

American Unreality

 Ersatz or artificial substitutes for products used to be a wartime necessity. Americans and other westerners have long since accepted the ubiquity of ersatz products for real ones. Everything from butter to maple syrup to meat is replaced with substitutes for dietary or economic reasons.

The ‘ersatzization’ of food has been more than overmatched by the same phenomenon in our culture. Artificially generated images and essays are treated as if they were the work of some higher artificial intelligence rather than just the digitally remixed work of actual humans.

And men are treated as women as long as they insist that they really are women.

Objective measures of reality have fallen by the wayside in favor of a subjective materialism in which it matters only what something appears to be or what we think it is, not what it really is.

The consensual illusion of ersatz foods in which we all know what we’re eating even if we occasionally pretend it’s the real thing has made way for ersatz money, ersatz art, ersatz science, ersatz politics and even ersatz women. With the latter the right to pretend, to pose as something you are not, has evolved into a civil right. To lie and be believed has eclipsed freedom of speech and the traditional rights of women, not to mention science and reality.

Illusion became delusion along a road that began with mass communications and ended with emulation in the entertainment and technology industries as the highest form of art. Emulation, like most subversive arts, required deconstruction. To duplicate a thing, whether it was a scream, a sentence or a human body, we had to deconstruct it into its components and, once deconstructed, it was all too easy to confuse the components and the illusion with the whole.

Transgender activists claim that they’re women because they wear makeup, put on dresses, adopt feminine mannerisms, and, in some cases, take hormones and get castrated. It is significant that the latter are not even real requirements. The only real requirements for transgender status are external imitation and internal conviction. In an artificial age, what we believe and what we pretend to be is what we are. Those who do this are the children of a world where fortunes, stock value, political office and academic credentials are built on illusions.

The dark side of the scientific pursuit of truth was the conviction that by understanding how things in the natural world were made, we could duplicate them and become gods. Our belief that we have achieved this has vastly outstripped the reality where our limited successes stalled early on in the atomic age. The triumph and horror of the detonation of the atomic bomb remains a compelling subject because it appeared to open a new age when it actually closed it. The everyday hard technologies that underpin modern civilization already existed then. All we have succeeded in doing since is to make them cheaper, more efficient and more accessible.

It took the evolution of computer technology for us to enter a world that seemed in line with our inflated sense of our capabilities. Within those systems, programmers appeared able to create worlds and rewrite the rules of reality. Outside them, radicals who had soured on the old socialist vision of industrial progress turned to romanticism and manufactured the myth that human technology, nuclear and industrial, was on the verge of destroying the world.

The myth of man as the destroyer of worlds, propounded by Oppenheimer, a weak man pretending to be terrified of his own strength, was not a response to technological potency, but impotence. Environmentalism was not a reaction to the accelerating speed of technological change, which was actually slowing down, but to a cultural response to the death of progress.

The atomic age’s conviction that experts and scientists would be able to solve all our problems and usher in a better world had faltered and that opened the way for the counterculture to make its case that technological progress was not the solution. While America had sharply reduced poverty, spread prosperity and increased lifespans, these great achievements in daily life had not fulfilled the promise of a future that would sweep away all the social problems of the world.

The promise of omnipotent technological man was replaced with the myths of omnipotent man who could change the world, not through actual accomplishments, but through conviction. Like the Communist dictatorships they were on the verge of defeating, Americans were persuaded through mass communications and educational indoctrination that it was more important to believe the right things than to do them because conviction could transform reality.

Every leftist revolution, beginning with the French Revolution, had begun with the slogan that will mattered more than any real world prerequisite when it came to changing the world. Leni Riefenstahl’s ‘Triumph of the Will’ condensed that central idea into its name. That reality could be overcome through the assertion of the correct principles took us from the horrors of the guillotine, the mass starvations of the Soviet Union and Communist China, and refracted through the advertising and entertainment industries, along with social media, into an American unreality where people can change their sex if done in line with identity politics principles.

Marxism had never been anything more than a 19th century crank’s pseudoscience wrapped in bad history and worse theory. Karl Marx had been a miserable student and never had any patience for learning anything. The genius of Marxism was that it asserted that the only way to understand anything was to do it. Instead of testing theories against practice, practice had to validate theory. Soviet agriculture was a miserable failure, but that was put down not to the failures of the underlying theory, but to the decadence and corruption of the peasants.

When reality failed theory, mass murder swiftly followed. Socialist theories were all big lies that were upheld with misery and censorship, at best, and with terror and murder at their worst. The intellectuals who studied Marxism either learned to kill or were replaced by those like Stalin whose understanding of theory might be poor, but who excelled at implementing it by redirecting blame for its failures through a French revolutionary drama of purges and random butchery.

In America, the lies still reign supreme from global warming to gender change. The varied lies have at their core the myth that man is omnipotent in both destructive and constructive realms. If man is not restrained, he will destroy the world, but if he is restrained through the right ideology, there is nothing that he cannot accomplish. The good kind of omnipotence comes from adopting a political dogma which when properly implemented can make anything possible.

Overcoming reality by embracing illusion is the test of faith of the dogma. Like the ancient pagans who castrated themselves and then threw the parts into the fire before worshiping the goddess, their modern counterparts embark on pretending to be women as an act of faith. To disbelieve is not just a hate crime: it questions the magical thinking at the heart of the Left.

Ersatz food, once a wartime necessity, becomes ‘sacred’ when eaten to overcome ‘climate change’. Reality becomes illusion and becomes reality again when imbued with virtue. The break between the Marxists and the Wokes over whether virtue signaling matters is emblematic of the larger conflict between industrial and post-industrial social media collectivism.

To ‘live my truth’ rather than the truth is a pivotal decision to change the world through delusion. The old school Marxists may decry a neo-liberalism of bumper stickers and hashtag activism, but it was the 60s radicals who failed at public activism and went into the system, became wealthy and successful, who claimed that they sold out externally, but not internally, who gave us the schizoid state of the postmodern western leftist and he/them fantasy collectivism.

Radical ad execs, coked out screenwriters, and fringe academics ushered in the exciting unreality all around us. Then, financed by Silicon Valley techtopians, social media offered a terrible version of the old vision of creating worlds within the old green and black CRT monitors. The world inside the now 4K monitors is not the same as the real world outside, but even before the arrival of everyday augmented reality wearables people have been conditioned to compare reality against the unreal world of social media, and to find reality, in which the people aren’t as attractive, wealth doesn’t come from imaginary currency and fringe sexuality just leads to unhappiness, as wanting. We live in utopia now and the real world is collapsing around us.

External reality is depressing. It kills dreams. Like the dream of having total power over ourselves and the world around us. The man who believes he is really a woman doesn’t want to be told otherwise. Neither does the politician who just proposed spending another trillion dollars because modern monetary theory tells him that government spending can be virtually infinite.

Children live in a magical world in which dreams mingle seamlessly with reality. Adulthood appears to be a distant mirage of unlimited freedom. The traditional process of growing up was the realization of the limitations and responsibilities of adulthood. Each generation of children has become slower to come to terms with these limitations and responsibilities. For as long as possible they inhabit a childish world in which they can do anything and may not be denied.

The unreal world, enhanced by pharmaceuticals, fantasies and entertainment, offers not freedom through responsibility, but freedom from responsibility by exchanging subjective reality and external mimicry for the basic truths of economics, biology and human nature.

The world around us appears insane because it has left behind reality for fantasy. Sanity can only come from coming to grips with the painful truths of reality all over again.

According to a report from the Kyiv School of Economics, Ukraine’s farming industry has been severely damaged during the past year of fighting with Russia, with staple crops such as maize, oats, rapeseed, and rye not expected to recover to previous production levels until at least 2050. Is Genocide Too Powerful a Word?

Genocide is a potent word.  It refers to the decimation of an entire group.  It results in destruction on a massive scale.  It defies the imagination even though we have often witnessed it in the 20th century. To most people, it is the concerted evisceration of a particular group, whether they be Jews annihilated by the Nazis, Uyghurs by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), or the Ukrainians by Stalin.  Of the latter, the term Holodomor comes to mind.  It was a man-made famine that affected the Soviet republic of Ukraine from 1932 to 1933, causing mass starvation in grain-growing regions.  In acknowledgment of its scale, the famine is often called the Holodomor, a term derived from the Ukrainian words for hunger (holod) and extermination (mor)."

These events need to be understood as the prelude to global actions that are now convulsing the world and whose ultimate goal is the destruction of human life. Often begun as a bid for the welfare of humanity, these decisions must be regarded as the "alibis of tyrants" with resultant deadly consequences.  Consider the dictates that have caused and will continue to cause food shortages and starvation...................

Since the same is true of Joe Biden, who’s running for a second term, the party is being accused of sexism for demanding that Feinstein, but not Fetterman or Biden, retire. But the latest leaked rumor about Feinstein’s incapacity, spread by Dem operatives and their media, seems to suggest that she might be the sanest member of her party............

Years ago, the World Economic Forum totalitarians devised a formula for the commoners’ eternal happiness: owning nothing and having no privacy. In 2023, Klaus Schwab and the rest of the James Bond villains in Davos, Switzerland, proposed various methods to increase the plebs’ pleasure and facilitate servitude to the New World Order, be it paying for the war in Ukraine for the next 15 years or forcing one billion people to stop consuming meat. Thankfully, a glance at the Twitterverse suggests a collective “how dare you!” uttered by the same people the real-life SPECTRE wishes to enslave.

Tony Blair: Digital Vaccine Libraries Now!

  The next blueprint of fascism might be the international digitization of vaccine records. During a discussion about containing the next outbreak and preventing another pandemic, former British Prime Minister Tony Blair advocated for digital libraries that can store people’s vaccination status worldwide. He urged all nations to establish a “proper digital infrastructure” to determine who did and did not inject vaccines into their systems, adding that health care digitization is critical. “In the end, you need the data: you need to know who’s been vaccinated and who hasn’t been,” he said.

Al Gore Becomes Roland Emmerich

Former Vice President Al Gore should direct a doomsday film since his imagination keeps producing many apocalyptic scenarios for mankind. While on stage at the World Economic Forum, Gore became unglued and warned that the planet will soon endure “rain bombs,” “boiling oceans,” an “open-air sewer,” and a daily climate crisis equivalent to “600,000 Hiroshima bombs.” Gore also alluded to “xenophobia” and “political authoritarian trends” as contributors to Mother Nature’s destruction.

“That’s what’s boiling the oceans, creating these atmospheric rivers, and the rain bombs, and sucking the moisture out of the land, and creating the droughts, and melting the ice and raising the sea level, and causing these waves of climate refugees,” Gore shrieked.

The Nobel Prize and Oscar winner told the audience that he has been “sounding the alarm” for the last two decades and concluded that humanity is “failing” on this issue, despite the trillions being spent worldwide and a wide array of climate-related policies and taxes being imposed on the population.

Joe Manchin Slams ‘Open Press System’

Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) is ostensibly not a fan of the First Amendment, telling the World Economic Forum that “the problem we have is the open press system and basically all the platforms.” Manchin averred during a panel that social networks “personify the extremes,” although they are not the majority. After his comments went viral, he appeared on the Fox Business Network a day later and backtracked his remarks, apologizing and clarifying that he “didn’t explain it properly.”

The Spirit of John McCain Lives

Finnish Prime Minister Sanna Marin suggested that Western governments need to support Ukraine in its fight against Russia for “as long as it takes, even if the war lasts 15 years. The 34-year-old world leader thought that a Russian victory would send the wrong message to nations worldwide that they could invade other countries and succeed. “I think the only message that we need to send is that we will support Ukraine as long as needed,” she said in an interview with CNN’s Fareed Zakaria. “One year, two years, five years, ten years, 15 years.” This sounds much like former Sen. John McCain (R-AZ), who argued for fighting in Iraq for 100 years.

The Great Reset of Your Diet

You will stop chewing the fat and instead eat replacement meals in 20 years and be happy! This idea is no longer confined to the digital pages of the World Economic Forum website. Instead, it was a concept delivered again by Jim Hagemann Snabe, the chairman of Siemens AG. At a panel talk called “Mobilizing for Climate,” Snabe recommended one billion people to stop eating meat because it would reduce carbon emissions.

“If a billion people stop eating meat, I tell you, it has a big impact. Not only does it have a big impact on the current food system, but it will also inspire innovation of food systems,” he averred. “I predict that we will have proteins not coming from meat in the future, they will probably taste even better. So why are we trying to mimic meat if we can have a better taste? They will be zero carbon and much healthier than the kind of food that we eat today.” No mention of eating beetles and drinking cockroach milk? Come on, man!

No Cars for You!

Saudi Arabian Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Adel Al-Jubeir, predicted that there would be no cars in the future. But this is not necessarily a ban on automobiles. Instead, according to Al-Jubeir, “it’s called different types of transportation … based on renewable energy.” As usual, these leaders will own cars, fly on private jets, and ensure that they never ride on public transit with the public.

Respect the World Order

Slovenia Foreign Affairs Minister Tanja Fajon demanded that countries submit to the globalist agenda by declaring their “respect” for “the world order.” In a discussion about global fragmentation, Fajon shared her fellow globalists’ disdain for states that are fighting back against internationalist rules and embracing the “national interest.” In the end, Fajon told the world that “we have to take into consideration The World Order.” Yeesh. All that was missing from this inane diatribe was Benito Mussolini’s hand gestures.

Morgan Stanley CEO James Gorman summarized the annual retreat in the remote Swiss town by calling it an “echo chamber … where everybody’s basically repeating back to each other what they’ve heard from the last person.” Indeed, it is a yearly gathering of globalist gobbledygook, leftist lamentations for individualism, and authoritarian announcements for the future. Speaking of tomorrow, the World Economic Forum made a bold prediction: It is time to fear an imminent and damaging cyber attack in the next few years. So, let the polycrisis begin, and bow down to the Schwabinator.

Global Warming, Energy, and The Clowns on the Left

This was stuck in my "Draft File" so it's a bit dated, and while I've updated it, the facts, the issues, the mentality and the insanity remain the same.  

First, Europe is in an intellectual, social, economic and philosophical mess regarding immigration, global warming, energy, agriculture and green insanity in general, and it's an insanity that's suicidal.  Secondly, none of this was a global "challenge" until Biden took office and filled his administration with leftist misfits working to destroy America with fallacious arguments about how bad others have it in the world so according to them, we need to stop complaining.  

What does the price of gasoline, natural gas, food and shelter around the world have to do with the price of things here?  There's starvation in places in the world.  Should we then accept food shortages as normal in order to be like them?  There's serious health issues around the world.  Should we abandon our health care to match theirs, especially when we can see how well it's working "in England, for example, where a 61-year-old man with a cancer diagnosis was just told that he must wait three years (not a typo) to be seen at a hospital."

The price of energy, inflation, taxes, spending and these insane COP27 schemes are causing and will continue to cause unnecessary suffering.  But suffering is the beginning of wisdom.

The Biden administration has capitulated on UN demands we give hundreds of millions to the rest of the world:

A coalition of 130 nations, egged on by China, introduced a draft plan for loss and damage at COP 27 in Egypt.  This year it passed, despite U.S. climate envoy John Kerry’s recent statement that, “it’s a well-known fact that the United States and many other countries will not establish . . . some sort of legal structure that is tied to compensation or liability. That’s just not happening.”

The language adopted by the COP sets up a framework for a future plan while leaving the details of who will pay for what deliberately nebulous.  Don’t take too much comfort from this watered down language.  This is how UN climate diplomacy operates.  First they place something into the text, assign committees to study and report back in the future, then decide who will pay.  Witness the infamous “Green Climate Fund” for which hundreds of billions of dollars are theoretically owed that developed nations continually (hopefully perpetually) avoid paying.  Every so often, however, payments are made.  President Obama twice sent $500 million in payments that Congress had appropriated for other purposes to the “GCF” just before President Trump took office.

As CFACT has reported, the inclusion of “loss and damage” in the COP 27 outcome represents the thin end of the wedge.  We can expect a chorus of demands for climate reparations from here on out.

This is really rich since China is pumping massive amount of CO2 into the atmosphere from all their coal fired plants, and they're not to be held accountable, so it's pretty clear Biden, Kerry and the whole Democrat party are now owned by China. 

Let's try and get this right.  This is nothing short of a massive shakedown by leftist misfit globalists.  All these climate claims are based on fraudulent science, corruption and outright lies and a desire by leftists and the world's elites to impose Medieval Age tyranny and conditions on humanity, including a massive reduction in the world's population.

Inflation is skyrocketing, and I remember the Carter years, and the difference then versus now was jobs.  Good paying factory jobs.  They're gone and the government is paying people to stay home and not get jobs, and then misfits like Schumer turn around and claim we need illegal immigrants because companies can't get enough help.   How insane is that?

International trade is dying, foreign policy is downright treasonous, domestic policy on immigration, along with education, diversity, equity and inclusion are destroying the very foundation of American culture, Biden can barely find his way to the bathroom without Jill to guide him, so it absolutely amazes me polls are showing Biden still has an over 40% approval rate.    

Another reason I've not believed in polls for over 25 years, and I have serious issues with prediction.  As many people have observed:  Prediction is really hard, especially about the future."  It get's harder when one is dishonest, as Another year, another round of global warming doomsday predictions that never came to pass, and one may reasonable conclude, "the so-called 'experts' don't know what they're talking about."

And kudos to Fed Chairman Jerome Powell, who feels banking needs to stick to banking:

[W]e should “stick to our knitting” and not wander off to pursue perceived social benefits that are not tightly linked to our statutory goals and authorities. . . [W]ithout explicit congressional legislation, it would be inappropriate for us to use our monetary policy or supervisory tools to promote a greener economy or to achieve other climate-based goals.   We are not, and will not be, a “climate policymaker.”

Finally, a man in a position of authority with a brain and a backbone.  

Remember When Americans Used Common Sense?

Common sense is the God-given healthy nutrient needed to recognize insanity when one sees it.  I say this in no way marginalizing the Word of God, which has from the beginning spoke to the depth of demonic insanity man would devolve to accept under the guise of science and intellectuality.

I was raised in a day and age that people understood the weather was cyclical and that throughout the lifespan of people we would experience weather patterns that hadn’t been witnessed for varied periods of time.

I remember the old sayings and observations that were more accurate than the weather forecasts of today that are based upon millions of dollars of weather satellites and computers that get it wrong more often than not.  I’m not cynical; I’m a Christian with common sense.

I don’t need a Harvard or Princeton degree to know what weather patterns are developing based upon my sinuses and my joints.

I vividly remember when the environmental lunatics pretended to be concerned about the welfare of Bald Eagles and other birds that were supposedly endangered due to whatever threat they came up with at the time.  Consider how quickly the supposed threat disappeared when wind turbines became the latest craze that would supposedly benefit the planet.

The fact that wind turbines are now slaughter massive numbers of birds including the Eagle is ignored by the environmental loons as long as more wind turbines are erected.

Which brings me to the climate.  The wannabe God complex of these people is unambiguous.  A New York Times headline predicted “Everyone Will Disappear In A Cloud Of Blue Steam By 1989” because of an alleged scientific consensus over impending apocalypse from environmental pollution.

In 1970, environmentalists predicted, in another newspaper headline, “America Subject To Water Rationing By 1974 And Food Rationing By 1980.”

In 1970, scientists working for NASA and the U.S. National Center for Atmospheric Research warned of an impending New Ice Age by the year 2000.

A 1974 Time magazine headline warned of “Another Ice Age?” and Britain’s The Guardian science reporter headlined, “Space Satellites Show New Ice Age Coming Fast.” Brown University’s Department of Geology warned of an imminent New Ice Age in a letter to President Nixon.

In 1988, environmental scientists predicted disappearance of the Maldive Islands: “A gradual rise in average sea level is threatening to completely cover this Indian Ocean nation of 1196 small islands within the next 30 years.”

In 1989, U.N. environmental experts told the Associated Press: “Rising Seas Could Obliterate Nations” by the year 2000. Part of New York City was supposed to be submerged by 2019.

In 2004, climate hoaxers predicted Britain would be like Siberia by 2020.

So they resolved God’s epic record of failure to bring about their predictions by renaming their hoax “climate change.” Now every storm, snowflake, gust of wind and temperature change is identified as climate change. Never again will they be wrong, no matter how many times their prognostications don’t occur, because climate change is the villain.

It wasn’t necessary for me to read Bob Unruh’s highly informative article: ‘Climate cult’ meeting is ‘all about depopulation,’ to realize anything liars and environmental Mohocks like John Kerry scurry off to in their private jets portends negatively for you and I.  See also: There Will Be No Climate Amnesty by Jason Isaac.

It is common sense to me: these people are a far cry from being “world leaders” as they brand themselves, rather they are “world con-men and charlatans” staying at the opulent environs of Sharm El Sheikh, for COP27, the United Nations’ climate-change conference.

I submit that this isn’t a conference as the idea of a conference at one time conveyed.  This so-called climate conference was a gathering of the world’s most elite to showoff who has the most expensive toys and design a way to rob us blind.

My God-given common sense dictates that I won’t submit to their pathology of abject insanity.  I was raised to understand that ‘crazy’ wasn’t something to be modeled or emulated.  The followers of this climate madness are those who will benefit from it and those who base their self-esteem on modeling the schizophrenic bi-polar insanity of others.

Fat-Al Gore, the former vice-president who did his best work allegedly seeking the sexual gratification of masseuse, pocketed mountains of cash in his global emissions, greenhouse emissions and global warming lies.

Common sense tells me that the idea of there being food shortages is a lie from the pit of hell.  The only way we have food shortages is if they’re manipulated and created for personal gain and/or to control the population.  People who believe such foolishness haven’t drunk the proverbial Kool-Aid; they’ve drunk the liquid waste drunks leave in allies.

Fossil fuels cannot be replaced by electric.  It takes fossil fuels to produce the energy required to have electric vehicles.  As for greenhouse emissions, I submit we could make the entire west coast a cattle farm and the cattle would still not produce enough flatulence to impact the United States much less the world as the claims coming out of New Zealand claimed some years ago.

As a child watching Flash Gordon et al I knew the idea of flying vehicles back and forth from city to city and town-to-town was fantasyland regardless of what the actors claimed during commercials.  Today people pay massive amounts of money to be brainwashed in colleges and universities into believing such travel will be a reality.

The United Nations is a charade created to give the illusion of global security and global wellbeing.  In reality it is a demonic institution created for the purpose of global one world government, control of global finances and the global control of We the People.

I’ve never subscribed to being controlled by fools and liars. My lifetime alone validates that I’m right in refusing such brinkmanship.  Nowhere in scripture am I told to obey that which defiles my God and/or instructs me to subscribe to insanity.
