Observations From the Back Row

Leftist Hate and Violence is Universal

By Rich Kozlovich

Let's start out today's edition with this quote:

Liberal Democrats exhibit a profound deficiency in introspection, rendering them incapable of meaningful self-examination. The Democratic Party, in its rigid ideological conformity, brooks no deviation from its prescribed orthodoxy—it is an all-or-nothing political enterprise. In their strategic miscalculation, party leaders aligned themselves with the radical left, believing it would secure electoral success. Instead, this Faustian bargain has led them astray, leaving them adrift and directionless in a political landscape they no longer control.  Bob Thomas at American Thinker

The Democrats are now completely unhinged even deliberately setting fire to the New Mexico Republican Party.  While "Daniel Garcia, a spokesperson for the Democratic Party of New Mexico issued a statement that the party hopes whoever is responsible is found and held accountable,” ... saying.....“We firmly maintain that this sort of act has absolutely no place in our democracy, and that peaceful discourse and organization are the only ways to approach political difference in our country”.  Who is this "we" he's talking about?  He must have a mouse in his pocket, because the Democrat party is rife with those who applaud this kind of insanity.

Leftist television host Bill Maher was invited to the White House, and he accepted, and the left went nuts.  Dr. Michael Hurd makes this observation regarding the outrage and abject hate being thrown at Donald Trump, and just about everyone who works for him quoting Bill Maher saying:

You have to respect that, the guy did win. It’s more than half the country… you can not like Trump, you can hate him, but you can’t hate everybody who voted for him… I don’t hate half the country and I don’t want to hate half the country,...........

Having lost the election has turned the Democrats into crazed animals.  Hate, and the attending violence it insures, are the foundational moral convictions of the left, as Hurd goes on to say:

Here’s another unhinged Democrat inciting violence: @RepJasmine Crockett says you should “punch” your opponents, then says Senator @tedcruz “has to be knocked over the head, like, hard.” Of course this freak is violent. She’s a Communist and a fascist, and violence is what Communism and fascism are all about. My question is: Why are people who threaten violence even permitted to hold office?

We went to dinner last night and as I pulled out into traffic there was a Tesla just ahead of us with a sticker assuring anyone who wanted to throw a bomb at them they despised Elon Musk.  My thought was any car that looks that ugly might possibly be improved by being fire bombed, but that's neither here nor there.  The point is these people are nuts, even busing Rent-a-Mobs to protest at the "Southlake Texas Tesla building and yelling “Hands Off, Climate Science.” They were saying Musk should be deported and were screaming “Nazis” and “fascism.”'

Is there any doubt the left is nuts?  But why didn't they use local nutrolls?  They couldn't find any, or enough, so they imported them.  The question is, who's funding that?  It turns out there are as many as 24 organizations funding the Tesla Takedown madnessMore here.

Then there are the self funding lunatics.   One woman was was cut off while driving and then assaulted because she was driving a Tesla.   It turns out she was a 61 year old female Tesla driver was boxed in and beaten sitting in her car, by a man who hit her with a closed fist.

There is No Politics Without an Enemy - What is going on with the latest fashion for educated Democratic voters to key the DOGE-adjacent Tesla in the Whole Foods parking lot? As Elon Musk asks: who is pushing this propaganda to teach people to firebomb Teslas? What is it all about?  I will tell you what it’s all about. There is no politics without an enemy.....

Get a load of this Democrat as he Explodes in Rage at GOP Colleague After Gun Control Bill Defeat.  His reason for such outrage?  His brother committed suicide with a gun, and so society must rid itself of guns to assuage his pain.

My thought was why did he commit suicide? Did he abuse drugs?  I wondered, and especially based on this losers actions, what his family life was like?   Was it as devoid of the discipline he clearly displayed?  Did he come from a totally dysfunctional family with no father figure and a lot of half brothers and sisters.

I have no idea, about any of that, but if someone wants to commit suicide whether guns are available or not is meaningless.  Single parent families is the single greatest issue in black America,  not guns.

Then there's the question, "What do people needs guns for anyway, we have the police to protect us?"  Well, how about this.  Mike McDaniel posted this piece,  Criminal attack? You're on your own, showing how the police are becoming less and less effective by simply not doing the job society has set for them, and innocent people are being slaughtered especially in America's major cities where crime is running rampant and and the courts are allowing it.  The Supreme Court has ruled the "police have a duty only to the general public to deter crime by their presence and to investigate it after it occurs. They owe no duty of protection to individual citizens."

But the police, the FBI, and others are more than happy to kick in the door of innocent people exercising their Constitutional rights, which is exactly what is happening in Europe, where they have no Constitutional rights, but they do have a lot of government tyranny.

This Is Why We Must NEVER Give Up Our Right to Keep and Bear Arms. EVER! - Famously, 60 Minutes did a segment where they followed German law enforcement as they kicked in doors over memes. A more recent example is British police showing up at people's doors to investigate them for criticizing their children's school. Another example is that yes, you actually can be arrested for praying inside your own home. It's not a blanket ban on prayer in your home or anything, even if you live in close proximity to places like abortion clinics, but you can if you're visible and something thinks it's "performative," meaning they think you're protesting with that prayer. Pray in front of your living room window, and the cops might show up. That's a violation of people's freedom to worship.............Europeans, however, gave up their guns. They bought into the idea that security was more important than liberty, and now they are getting neither.  Would these European despots--even if they happen to have been democratically elected, they're still despots--have considered any of this if the people had the means to fight back?

In  South Africa their Supreme court has decided, ‘Kill the Boer’ isn't hate speech.   So now legally in South Africa to demand white genocide isn't really a call for white genocide, it's free speech!  But ironically, according to "Tembeka Ngcukaitobi, a lawyer representing Malema, also appeared at the International Court of Justice (ICJ) last year to argue that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s reference to the Bible to inspire soldiers was incitement to genocide against Hamas after the October 7, 2023, terror attack.   All in an attempt to justify all the vile murderous behavior Hamas perpetrated on innocent and unarmed  civilians, even roasting a baby alive in an over, even recording it with great joy.

The minds of leftists are twisted beyond help, and everyone needs to understand that.  There can be no fellowship between darkness and light.  Why is that so hard to grasp?

The Arctic of the Deal: Greenland Redux

How badly does Trump want the world's largest island?

by | Mar 30, 2025 @ Liberty Nation News, Tags: Articles, Opinion, Politics

Despite the objections of Danish and Greenlandic officials, Vice President JD Vance flew to Greenland Friday morning with his wife and a few delegates to Pituffik Space Base. He was the first sitting VP to visit the base, giving the trip a historic undertone while displaying how serious the Trump administration is about bolstering America’s presence in the Arctic. Though Vance’s speech seemed to carry a message slightly different from the president’s remarks about the island over the last few months, the goal was the same: national and international security. Sounds great, but is Trump serious about using force to take control of an ally’s territory?

The Race to Take Greenland

The day the VP went to the frigid north, the president told the press, “We have to have Greenland. It’s not a question of, ‘Do you think we can do without it?’ We can’t.” Vance’s speech to US soldiers in the Arctic, however, focused more on developing a stronger security alliance. “[W]hen the president says, ‘We’ve got to have Greenland,’ he’s saying this island is not safe.” The territory, said Vance, would fare “better coming under the United States security umbrella.” Is he wrong?

Greenland, a semi-autonomous territory of Denmark, has an estimated 1.5 million tons of rare-earth element reserves, according to the US Geological Survey. The US Energy Information Administration estimates the region has more than a tenth of the world’s undiscovered oil and nearly a third of undiscovered natural gas. Melting ice in the region is making mining for rare earth deposits possible and creating usable shipping routes that can decrease travel time between Asia and Europe and reduce costs for transport. The island is in a prime location for access to Arctic shipping routes, especially the Northeast Sea Route, which runs along Russia’s Arctic coast, connecting the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans.

“[W]e are closely monitoring the development of the situation,” said Putin at a forum on March 27, “building an adequate response line, increasing the combat capabilities of the armed forces and modernizing military infrastructure facilities.”

“If you look at Greenland right now,” said Trump, speaking from the Oval Office on Friday, “if you look at the waterways, you have Chinese and Russian ships all over the place.” He’s not kidding. For years, Russia has “prioritized an expanded presence in the Arctic through airfield renovation, the addition of bases, troop training, and the development of a network of military defense systems on the northern border,” explains The National Interest, an online publication focusing on foreign policy and national security. Meanwhile, “Beijing has boosted its economic presence in the area, including investment in mining operations in Greenland.” Much of the territory’s untapped resources include rare earth minerals vital to technology like smartphones.

All this to say, “The geopolitical dynamics involving Greenland, Russia, China, and the United States will influence the future of global trade and international relations not just in the High North but in the larger play for global advantage among the three great powers,” explains The National Interest.

The Art Isn’t Always in the Deal

On Thursday, the day before the VP went to Pituffik Space Base and warned US soldiers about China and Russia’s “extraordinary interest in Arctic passageways,” Russian President Vladimir Putin called Trump’s plans to take control of the territory “serious” and having “long-standing historical roots.” He said it would be a mistake to “believe that this is some kind of extravagant talk of the new American administration.”

Trump is not only serious, it seems, but he is also not the first chief executive to show such an interest. President Andrew Jackson suggested buying it in 1832. During the tail end of the Second World War, the Truman administration offered to buy it for a hundred million dollars in gold. Still, Greenlandic and Danish officials are not interested. Trump insists America will “go as far as we have to go” to acquire the world’s largest island. Maybe he’s just toying with the Danes and Greenlanders, seeing how far he can push them and what they might be willing to do to avoid “by any means necessary.”

Ditch the Diatribe – Try This!

A  recent poll commissioned by the Danish newspaper Berlingske and Greenlandic daily Sermitsiaq showed that 85% of Greenlanders oppose joining the US, and 45% see Trump’s interest as a threat. At the same time, “the Danish government faces increasing discontent from the Greenlandic people over what islanders view as neglect and underinvestment from Copenhagen, which has resulted in the decay of what limited infrastructure does exist across the island,” explains RealClear Politics. “So it follows that the Danes may be on edge as President Trump calls for Greenlanders’ right to self-determination.”

However, “Greenlanders want to detach from Denmark,” said Liberty Nation News Editor-in-Chief Mark Angelides, “but only if their standard of living can be assured. And that’s where dealmaking becomes the only viable obstacle to Trump’s plans.” Hear him out:

“Consider this potential deal. Currently, Greenland gets from Denmark its defense and a yearly grant of just over three billion Danish kroner (about $400 million) – that’s about half of the local government revenue. If the US were to offer a stronger defense, a significant increase in spending, and maintain the independent status in return for unfettered access to defense facilities and preferential access to rare earth mineral mining … would the people go for it?”

Maybe Trump is bluffing about not ruling out the use of force, or maybe not. World leaders seem to believe him, though, and that might be the point. The art isn’t always in the deal. Sometimes, it’s in the methods used to get to the deal.

Stacey Abrams Belongs in Jail

By Susan Daniels Mar 29, 2025 @ Susan's Newsletter

The Washington Free Beacon under the headline “Stacey Abrams was Pivotal in Securing $2 Billion Biden Grant for Green Group That Now Calls Her Role ‘Alleged’” offers the following:

“The Stacey Abrams-linked environmental coalition that received $2 billion during the Biden administration argued in court that its connection to Abrams is "alleged." Just one year ago, the coalition's lead group lauded Abrams for playing "a pivotal role" in the application that secured the funds.

“The group, Washington, D.C.-based Power Forward Communities, filed a federal lawsuit against the EPA and its administrator, Lee Zeldin, earlier this month, asking the court to undo the agency's termination of the $2 billion grant the Biden administration awarded it in April 2024.”

The ample Abrams has been a fraud and a grifter all her life, much like the Obamas. She never had much to offer but was the perfect pawn. She graduated from Yale but was far in debt because she didn’t understand how credit cards affected a credit score.

She was defeated twice as a candidate for governor of Georgia and probably thought she had a chance now that Brian Kemp’s term ends in 2026. I think she can put that one to sleep. Maybe she can work that storyline into one of the soft-porn romance books she writes under the pen name Selena Montgomery.

Power Forward Communities had assets of $100 in 2023 and was awarded $2 billion in 2024 by the Biden administration. Cui bono? It established a coalition of groups, including Rewiring America with director Ian Magruder who said:

“For the past few months our team has been hard at work on this monumental application for $9.5 billion in funding to electrify more than half a million homes, especially in lower income and disadvantaged communities…" and “Stacey Abrams played a pivotal role."

“Additionally, the Southern Economic Advancement Project and Fair Count, two left-wing nonprofits founded by Abrams in the wake of her 2018 Georgia gubernatorial election defeat, are listed as two of Power Forward Communities ‘partners’ who help implement its mission.”

Imagine what an organization with $100 could do with $9.5 billion.

I recently wrote an article about the dubious activities of Abrams. It included: According to Capitol Bear News Service a special Georgia Senate committee wants to look into a settlement in January between groups involving Abrams and the Georgia Ethics Commission.

“I think we ought to get to the bottom of these allegations,” Sen. Bill Cowsert, R-Athens, said Feb. 28, explaining why he had introduced Senate Resolution 292 the day before.

“The New Georgia Project and a separate fundraising arm, the New Georgia Action Fund, agreed to pay $300,000 for failing to disclose $4.2 million in contributions and $3.2 million in spending during the 2018 election cycle on behalf of Abrams’ unsuccessful bid for governor.

“It was the largest fine ever assessed by the Ethics Commission.”

Why isn’t this woman dressed in orange? If they don’t have anything that will fit, I sew. I can throw something together for her.

Congressman Pleads With Congress to Stop Him Before He Trades Stocks Again

By Daniel Greenfield @ Sultan Knish Blog

In 2023, Rep. Ro Khanna, the most active stock trader in Congress, demanded that some sort of law be passed to urgently stop members like him from trading stocks.

“All I want for Christmas is to clean up the corruption in Congress,” Rep. Khanna, who is Hindu, declared. “Our political system should not be for sale.”

That year, Rep. Khanna made 4,253 trades making him by far the House’s most active trader.

The completely useless resolution that Khanna knew had no chance of passing urged banning “members of Congress from holding and trading individual stocks”, imposed term limits, a ban on PAC contributions, a “binding code of ethics” and term limits for Supreme Court justices.

In 2024, Rep. Khanna traded $450,000 worth of stocks and was once again named the “most active trader” in Congress. The 200 transactions by Silicon Valley’s congressman included significant investments in tech companies, including major federal cybersecurity contractors like CrowdStrike and AOC, even while Rep. Khanna sits on the House Cybersecurity, Information Technology Oversight Subcommittee.

Rep. Khanna’s trades also “spanned all of the top five military contractors” while serving as a ranking member of the House Armed Services subcommittee on cybersecurity.

The 4th richest Californian in Congress with a net worth at least in the tens of millions, claims that most of these investments are a private trust held for his wife, Ritu Khanna, a 46-year-old woman, courtesy of her father, Monte Ahuja, an Indian immigrant who owns an investment company, Mura Holdings, and that it’s managed by independent money managers who keep going back to defense stocks even after he promised to divest from them back in 2021.

Despite introducing multiple proposals to get members of Congress out of the stock market, Rep. Khanna couldn’t even get his family out of trading stocks from industries he oversees.

But Rep. Khanna’s “political reform resolution” conveniently called for banning “members of Congress” from trading stocks. Not their spouses. Or the money managers of their spouses.

Silicon Valley’s congressman is certainly far from the only politician with sizable financial interests in companies that intersect with his congressional oversight areas, but he’s the sleaziest when it comes to loudly virtue signaling, calling for urgent reforms, condemning his colleagues and promising major reforms while doing all the things that he’s denouncing.

Now he’s at it again.

Rep. Khanna announced a ‘Drain the Swamp Act’ to fight corruption by people like him.

“Anti-corruption has to be core to rebuilding the Democratic brand,” Rep. Khanna announced. “Democrats need to be seen as owning the mantle of reform.”

Rep. Khanna, whose regular announcements about how much he hates the type of behavior he engages in constantly pop up in media headlines and Twitter feeds, knows all about “owning the mantle of reform”, he just doesn’t know anything about actually wearing the mantle of reform.

“This is what enrages the working class in this country, that you have big donors that are influencing these decisions,” Khanna fumed in an article about Gov. Newsom’s aides having dinner with self-driving vehicle lobbyists, stymying his efforts to stop those vehicles.

Last year, Rep. Khanna took over hosting duties from Rep. Pelosi for the Innovation Leadership Circle Retreat in Napa Valley that featured members of Congress and tech executives, including the chief legal officer of Coinbase, a crypto company, and investors. And some, like Ron Klain, Biden’s former chief of staff, who now works for Airbnb, spanned both worlds.

Other attendees included Indian billionaire Vinod Khosla, a venture capitalist with holdings in DoorDash, Instacart, and a critic of self-driving vehicles who backs rival Glydways. Khosla is also a donor and endorser of Khanna. And Khanna supports public transit ‘pod cars’ like those of Glydways while trying to restrict competition from self-driving cars..

So much for the rage of the working class, which can’t afford to set foot in Rep. Khanna’s neighborhood unless they’re there to drop off a delivery, about big donors buying influence.

Other Khanna donors include Netflix CEO Reed Hastings, Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff, Google’s CEOs and millions from high-dollar personnel at tech firms. And the only reason Khanna made it to Congress was backing from top executives at Facebook and Google.

How did Rep. Khanna do it?

In 2009, Obama picked Khanna to serve as the deputy assistant secretary of the Department of Commerce and then the White House Business Council which brought him into contact with top executives. Gov. Jerry Brown planted him on the state’s Workforce Investment Board. He wrote a book, ‘Entrepreneurial Nation’, “profiling” some of the “business leaders” he met under Obama accompanied by pull quotes from Elon Musk and other CEOs. Then it was on to Wilson Sonsini, a law firm that represents tech companies and venture capitalists, with extensive connections to the Obama administration. Before he even decided to run for congress, Khanna had a $1.2 million war chest despite being a complete unknown outside big government and big tech.

Rep. Ro Khanna’s entire political career is a tribute to the influence of money in politics.

But Rep. Ro Khanna also wanted to have it both ways. He wanted to rub shoulders and take money from tech company CEOs and then pound the pulpit about the evils of big money.

And so he co-chaired Sen. Bernie Sanders’s socialist presidential campaign while playing a “progressive capitalist”. He endorsed Rep. Barbara Lee for Senate while knowing she had no chance to build cred with leftist radicals. This contradiction in terms seeps through Khanna’s entire brand as a leftist who built his entire career on his business contacts, who fulminates about big money in politics while bringing money into politics, who castigates Congress for being in thrall to the people he hosts luxurious retreats in Napa to wine and dine.

“Congress must pass my 5-point anti-corruption plan. It’s time to unrig Washington,” Rep. Khanna demanded. Several months earlier, he had been forced to return thousands of dollars to members of the Duong family caught up in one of the state’s largest corruption investigations.

A photo of Khanna however still appears arm in arm with Andy Duong who has been accused of laundering political donations through a karaoke club that also sold cocaine and trafficked prostitutes. Anti-corruption agendas don’t come any more corrupt than this.

“Getting money and lobbyists out of politics, that should be our mantle,” Rep. Khanna claimed less than a year after his Napa event and having to return money from an alleged crime family.

But how will Rep. Ro Khanna get himself out of politics?

Texas vs. California, Part IX

March 24, 2025 by Dan Mitchell @ International liberty

In Part XIII of my series comparing Texas and California (previous seven editions can be found here, here, here, here, here, here, and here), I shared data showing that the burden of state spending was growing much faster in the not-so-Golden State.

Today’s column is going to compare job growth.

We’ll start with this chart, which shows a slam-dunk victory for the Lone Star State. Texas easily beats California in total job creation for 2024, as well as winning almost every category of employment in the private sector.

California created more government jobs, which is a Pyrrhic victory. And California also wins in creating what I call quasi-government jobs (a category that includes health care and social assistance).

The above chart comes from an editorial in today’s Wall Street Journal.

Here are some excerpts from that column.

…the Labor Department’s latest state jobs report…shows that California lost jobs in nearly every industry in the year before Donald Trump took office. …California gained a net 22,400 from January 2024 to January 2025. All of its net new jobs were in government (58,300), and healthcare, social assistance and private (often higher) education (148,200), which rely to a large extent on government spending. …Private businesses shed jobs in the year…a result of small businesses closing because of high taxes and other costs. …Large companies are also relocating workers to lower-tax and -cost states. Texas added 187,700 jobs over the same period… One problem for Democrats in Sacramento is that their progressive tax regime (with an effective top marginal rate of 14.5% on wage income and 13.3% on investment income)… A growing problem for Mr. Newsom’s national ambitions and his party is that California epitomizes the leftist policies that harm workers and employers. That’s why so many are leaving for Texas.

These are sobering numbers, especially since California has lots of natural advantages, such as weather. It also started out as a richer state.

But bad policy is like a cancer, eating away at state competitiveness.

The bottom line is that California’s class-warfare tax system and other policy mistakes are causing it to lose ground when compared to states such as Texas.

That continued last year and almost surely that trend will continue so long as Texas is smart enough to avoid an income tax (almost certainly) and smart enough to join the school choice club (supposedly imminent).

P.S. This joke about Texas and California is the 6th-most viewed column of all time. Very fitting.

Reexamining the Obama Era Endangerment Finding

By Paul Driessen

The supposed climate cataclysm consensus is disintegrating under growing pressure from reality. Green energy subsidies, regulations and mandates are crumbling. Greenpeace has been hit with a $667-million judgment for conspiracy, defamation, trespass, and fostering arson and property destruction.

The supposed climate cataclysm consensus is disintegrating under growing pressure from reality. Green energy subsidies, regulations and mandates are crumbling. Greenpeace has been hit with a $667-million judgment for conspiracy, defamation, trespass, and fostering arson and property destruction.

Last year’s “Buy a Tesla – save the planet” placards have been exchanged for “mostly peaceful” protests based on “Torch a Tesla – save our democracy” and infernos of toxic pollution and “carbon” emissions.

Even higher anxiety is battering climate activists from the Lee Zeldin Environmental Protection Agency’s review of EPA’s 2009 “Endangerment Finding” (EF) – the foundation and justification for restrictive Obama and Biden Era standards and regulations on permissible electricity generation, automobiles, furnaces, home appliances and much more.

Humans and animals exhale carbon dioxide when they breathe, combustion processes also emit CO2, and during photosynthesis plants absorb CO2 and emit oxygen. More atmospheric CO2 helps plants grow better, faster and with less water. Nearly all life on Earth depends on this process. It’s basic science.

That’s why the Clean Air Act doesn’t include carbon dioxide in its list of dangerous pollutants, along with carbon monoxide, lead, nitrogen dioxide, ground-level ozone, particulates and sulfur dioxide.

But fossil-fuel-hating activists blame CO2 for the alleged “climate crisis” – and in Massachusetts v. EPA the US Supreme Court said EPA could regulate CO2 emissions if the agency found that they “cause or contribute” to “air pollution” that may be “reasonably anticipated” to “endanger public health or welfare.”

The Obama EPA quickly determined that they did and issued an Endangerment Finding that gave the agency effective control over America’s energy, transportation, industries, furnaces and stoves– indeed, over almost every facet of our lives and living standards – to help “fundamentally transform” the nation.

In formulating its decision, EPA did no research of its own, relied heavily on GIGO computer models and outdated technical studies, dismissed the clear benefits of rising atmospheric CO2 levels, and ignored studies that didn’t support its decision. EPA even told one of its own experts (who had offered evidence and analyses contradicting official claims) that “the administration has decided to move forward [on implementing the EF] and your comments do not help the legal or policy case for this decision.”

That alone is a compelling reason for reversing the Endangerment Finding. But other realities also argue convincingly that EPA’s 2009 action should be nullified.

First, Massachusetts v. EPA has been sidelined, rendered irrelevant or effectively reversed.

West Virginia v. EPA (2022) ruled that federal agencies may not violate the “major questions doctrine,” which holds that, in the absence of clear congressional direction or authorization, agencies may not make decisions or issue regulations “of vast economic and political significance.”

The Obama EPA had no clear congressional language or authorization to declare that carbon dioxide is a pollutant that would likely “endanger public health or welfare.” The Supreme Court’s minimal guidance in Massachusetts underscores the absence of congressional intent or direction. The process EPA used in rendering its predetermined finding demonstrates how little actual science played a role. And the enormous significance and impact of the EF decision and subsequent regulations can hardly be disputed.

Similarly, the SCOTUS 2024 ruling in Loper Bright v. Raimondo overturned the court’s 1984 decision in Chevron v. NRDC and ended judicial deference to government agencies (the “Chevron doctrine”). Bureaucrats may no longer devise “reasonable interpretations” of unclear statutory language if those interpretations would significantly expand regulatory powers or inflate private sector costs.

These two decisions mean EPA had no authority to convert plant-fertilizing, life-giving carbon dioxide into a dangerous, health-threatening pollutant.

Second, reams of post-2009 studies and analyses show that CO2 is hugely beneficial to forests, grasslands and croplands – and that CO2 and other greenhouse gases (GHGs) have not replaced the powerful, complex, interconnected natural forces that have always driven global warming, climate change, ice ages, Little Ice Ages, and extreme weather events. EPA ignored this in 2009.

Others demonstrate that there is no climate crisis, nothing unprecedented in today’s climate and weather, and nothing modern industrialized societies cannot cope with far more easily than our ancestors did.

(See Climate Change Reconsidered II, CO2 Coalition studies, NOAA hurricane history, US tornado records, and studies the Trump EPA will undoubtedly consult during its EF reconsideration.)

Third, our energy, jobs, living standards, health, welfare, national security and much more depend on fossil fuels – for energy and for pharmaceuticals, plastics and thousands of other essential products that are manufactured using petrochemical feedstocks.

Fourth, China, India and other rapidly developing nations also depend on fossil fuels – and in fact are increasing their coal and petroleum use every year – to build their industries and economies and improve their people’s health and living standards. They are not about stop doing so to appease those who insist the world faces a climate crisis. That means even eliminating coal, oil, gas and petrochemical use in the United States would have no effect on global GHG emissions.

Finally, the primary threats to human and planetary health and welfare come not from using fossil fuels – but from eliminating them, trying to switch to “clean, green, renewable” energy, and no longer having vital petrochemical products.

As Britain and Germany have shown, switching to intermittent, weather-dependent wind and solar energy with backup power raises electricity prices to 3-4 times what average Americans currently pay. Industries cannot compete internationally, millions lose their jobs, living expenses soar, and families cannot afford to heat their homes in winter or cool them in summertime.

Thousands die unnecessarily every year from heatstroke, hypothermia, and diseases they would survive if they weren’t so hot, cold or malnourished.

In poor countries, millions die annually from indoor pollution from wood and dung fires, from spoiled food due to lack of refrigeration, from contaminated drinking water due to the absence of sanitation and treated water, and from diseases that would be cured in modern healthcare systems.

The common factor in all these deaths is the absence of reliable, affordable energy, largely imposed by climate-focused bureaucrats who finance only wind and solar projects in poor nations.

Wind and solar power, electric vehicle and grid-backup batteries, and associated transmission lines require metals and minerals mining and processing on unprecedented scales, power-generation facilities blanketing millions of acres of croplands and wildlife habitats, and the disposal of gigantic equipment that breaks or wears out quickly and cannot be recycled.

Reliance on wind, solar and battery power also means blackouts amid heatwaves and cold spells, cars stalled in snowstorms and hurricane evacuations – and thus still more deaths.

A slightly warmer planet with more atmospheric CO2 would be greatly beneficial for plants, wildlife and humanity. A colder planet with less carbon dioxide would significantly reduce arable croplands, growing seasons, wildlife habitats and our ability to feed humanity.

EPA’s 2009 Endangerment Finding ignored virtually all these realities. EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin’s reexamination of that decision must not repeat that mistake.

Democrat Party is In a Complete State of Weird

By Rich Kozlovich

Remember when during the 2024 campaign the Democrats keep calling Republicans weird, which caused a lot of head shaking, eye rolling and chucking among conservatives, especially with Tim Walz made such accusations.  Well, let's explore this.

After watching what's been happening since Trump won the election and then heaped a ton of "I'm gonna fix it" on the structure of the federal government the Democrats are frothing at the mouth, demonstrating they're just as insane, corrupt, clueless, and stupid as we've been saying they are.  They're leaderless with no message other than "we will destroy Trump even if we have to destroy America", which has been their real goal right along.

But to be fair, let's take a look at all this from the Democrats point of view and you will see how they can be so incensed at Trump.

What do you mean he’s suing fake news reporters for slander?  He can’t do that!  How will we force-feed lies to the public?

He’s withholding federal funds from universities that allow Islamic supremacists to terrorize Jewish students and brawny men to beat up women in sports?  But that’s Islamophobic and “trans”-phobic!  The “Science” is settled!  Islamic violence is free speech, and biological sex is just a social construct!

He’s removing security clearances for leftist law firms that work to undermine elections and misuse federal surveillance systems to spy on political opponents? That’s not fair — lawfare is our favorite weapon!  We can’t win without rigged elections!

What’s the MAGA despot going to do next — start firing federal workers and exposing how we use taxpayer dollars to fill our own personal piggy banks?  Stop, don’t tell me!  I don’t want to know!  I can’t take it anymore!

And the hits just keep right on coming.  Put your hands together reality fans, Hillary Clinton is now back in the hunt to be the Democrat nominee to be President in 2028.  And we're shocked why?

The Democratic Party is in total disarray. Nobody’s in charge! The Obama-Biden cabal has left the building, Pelosi has health issues, and Schumer is struggling to stave off a rebellion. It’s complete and utter chaos.

Clinton is wantonly corrupt, vile, clueless, and a shifting moral code to meet the mood of the moment.  The perfect Democrat candidate to fill a power vacuum, but she's not alone.  Let's look at the some of the potential nominees being floated by the media.   First there's Gavin Newsom and Crazy Tim Walz, both of whom are struggling to appear normal obviating their history of weirdness, and even attempting to look sane, but given their history how could anyone possibly believe they're normal or sane, especially since the Pravda media can no longer mold the nation's views.

Then there's  AOC, Buttigieg, Rahm Emanuel, Kamala, and watch out now, here it comes, Jamie Crockett. Imagine that.  If the Democrat party was a major league ball team with a bench like that they'd be at the bottom of the standings.  But this is politics, and success in politics doesn't require being successful at .... wellll.... anything, just like Kamala Harris who made a career out of failure.

Mark Lewis asks if Democrats are evil or stupid and answers....yes!  He goes on to note a lot of people like his sister has her mind made up and will not allow contrary opinions or facts get in the way.  He goes on to say:

If a person starts with the wrong premise, he’ll always have the wrong conclusions, regardless of how “intelligent” he might be.  “The fear of the Lord is the BEGINNING of knowledge.”  If people don't start with that premise, they will always end up with the wrong answers.  If I'm in Dallas and want to go to Los Angeles, if I head north, I won’t arrive in LA because I'm going in the wrong direction. Many so-called “intelligent” people do just that. Their IQs may be very high, but they've begun with the wrong premise, and thus, they will forever reach the wrong conclusions.

That's a mental affliction I call the, the plague of preconceptualism, and it infects everything!  Whether it's  science economics, or reality, which encompasses politics.   Definition leads to clarity, and Eric Utter does a great job of defining what mental gymnastics it takes to be a democrat.  Here's his list with some additions and a lot of paraphrasing from me.

You trust the Pravda media and believe it's the source of truth.  You believe truth is propaganda and that propaganda is truth, and that everything .... everything.... including inanimate objects are racist, clear signs of “white male patriarchy”, justifying becoming outraged at any black who supports Republicans.  You believe Elon Musk is trying to steal from you, so attacking Tesla owners, fire bombing their cars and Tesla dealerships, is an act of patriotism, along with death threats and violence to conservatives, and violence provoked by “misgendering” are acts of patriotism.

You believe any effort to create a fair balance in trade is wrong, that the "top 1% of income earners, who pay 40+% of all income taxes, should pay far more as their “fair share”.  Your sure the world is about to burn up as a result of global warming so destroying the use of traditional energy sources is justified, even if that should cause billions of people to die, and that plants and animals have rights equal to humans.

You’re a woman who engages in unprotected casual sex and gets pregnant, but fail to take responsibility for your actions accusing folks who are anti-abortion are trying to “force you to have a baby”, refusing to accept abortion is the murder of an innocent unborn.  You think a biological man can be a woman, capable of menstruating and bearing children.  You believe Joe Biden's neurological problems was evidence of a sound and sable mind and Trump's attempting to fix the massive corruption going on in government is evidence of an unstable mind.

That Joe's importation of "millions" of migrants, many of whom were part of transnational criminal organizations, was compassionate justice, and totally confident there's no reason in the world why they should assimilate and we should change to accommodate them, and Trump's deporting them is a gross injustice and a violation of their "illegal" rights.

You believe the current crop of potential Democrat nominees are competent, sane, intelligent and selflessly working for the good of the nation and Tim Walz would have been an infinitely better Vice President than Vance, and it's vital America defends Ukraine no matter the cost or consequences, and Hamas is not a murderous terror organization, but freedom fighters who are being abused by Israel, and think it's perfectly normal for homosexuals to strongly support Hamas.  And you must absolutely believe using guns to defend your family from rape and murder is terrible.

What confuses conservatives is how Democrats are capable of totally disregarding factual reality, since such thinking would outrage conservatives if the Republicans embraced such insanity.

It’s Not the Message. It’s the Madness -  You’ve likely heard the phrase, “If you find yourself in a hole, stop digging.” Seems like good advice, especially when the hole is of your own making. But watching the Democratic Party’s ongoing meltdown—highlighted by their most recent “off the rails” DNC meeting—it’s clear they’ve lost the shovel, the ladder, and the will to climb out  Let’s be clear: it’s not hard to fix the Democratic Party’s problems. They know exactly what’s broken. They just don’t want to fix it.  Instead of offering ideas, vision, and solutions, they’ve tripled down on their Trump Derangement Syndrome. A recent DNC event—meant to be a serious discussion of strategy and policy—turned into a carnival of anti-Trump hysteria. That’s not a platform. That’s a group therapy session.

What about all those who attended and booed Rep. Harriet Hageman (R-WY) at her town hall event.  Well the fact is these are activists, most likely paid activists, who invade these town hall meetings, but they do not represent the people of these states.  Hageman won by almost 40 points in her primary, and "the people of Wyoming don’t care" what these misfits think, say or do, "which is why Liz Cheney is out of a job."

Let's end for now with this piece by Jeff Davidson, Our Well-Entrenched Internal Enemies Jeff Davidson saying:

Our Founding Fathers knew it. Abraham Lincoln knew it and Donald Trump knows it: The greatest threat to United States has always been internal enemies........ This is no alarmist view or a delusion.......From foreign influence peddling and kickbacks, to extortion, to racketeering, to assaults on crypto currencies, to weaponizing Federal agencies, to colluding with state AGs and municipal DAs, to spying on Americans, to intimidating media organizations, to ignoring Supreme Court decisions, to harassing selected taxpayers, to indicting and jailing political opponents, to bogus billion-dollar budget allocations, and to systematically weakening border control, Joe Biden’s Leftist puppet masters became more brazen. Armed with an autopen, they turned the Biden Administration into a lawless regime culminating in Joe Biden to having to pardon his own family. Then they selected Kamala Harris, a notably empty shell, to replace Biden in the 2024 election.

And this is what the Democrat party is fighting to preserve, and none of them think that's weird. Remarkable!

Observations From the Back Row, With News and Views For March 28, 2025

By Rich Kozlovich Tags:

I've been reading how Disney's Snow White is such a Woke disaster, it will lose tens of million s of dollars, and this has been the pattern at Disney for a long time.  I ended my TV subscription a long time ago, and they destroyed the Star Wars franchise, again losing millions, and raised prices at their amusement parks to make up for that, and are now losing visitors.

What boggles the mind is their continued crusade to push all this Woke stuff in spite of failure after failure, and now, it's my opinion, we’re going to see the public become much more open about why they hate all this stuff. Calling them by whatever negative epithet is of the moment is going to bounce off people because the alternative media has exposed the consequences of “Wokeness” and people are fast coming to the conclusion they just don’t care what these leftists think, what they do, or what they say.

Culture is king, and we have to wonder if we're now seeing a cultural shift.  It's being claimed the Gen Z generation is one of the most conservative generations because they've suffered the consequences of Woke, and don't like it.  But I have reservations about all these young college educated people.

When doing man on the street interviews, and in the last one I saw was students on the beach, and they're asked fundamental questions about history and government, they're stunningly ignorant.  They don't know who fought in the Revolutionary War, they don't know who the Vice President is, they don't know how many jurists sit on the Supreme court, and the list goes on and on..... embarrassingly on and on... and these are college students.  That should concern everyone.

With Trump and Putin talking about some sort of solution to Ukraine, and future economic issues, guess who's the most concerned?  China!

I used to shake my head and roll my eyes at all the rhetoric about how China and Russia were now big buddies, but they have history, and that history hasn't been pleasant, correspondingly they never trusted each other before and they don't now.  I used to wonder if these journalists ever read a history book, but this kind of clabber was coming from geopolitical specialists also, demonstrating preconceptualism is a mental disorder, a disorder Henry Kissinger suffered from.

When the dust settles the Russians are gong to be in need of a major fix to their economy, and that can't come from China, but S. Korea and Japan deals may be on the table, which also would concern China since Japan has stated a desire to take on more defensive responsibilities in the region, with U.S. approval.

But real economic benefits will have to come from America, and that whole potential scares Xi.  But make no mistake, Russia needs this war to end or their economic situation will become so bad they won't be able to catch up to either China or the U.S.  Putin has put forward a plan for Ukraine to put under UN management, with some interesting initiatives, and that won't happen either, but it shows his desperation, and the geopolitical world sees it for what it is.

The other mostly unspoken truth about Russia is it's demographic pyramid, it's a mess.  Ten years go it was estimated by 2040 ethnic Russians will be a minority in their own nation, and statistically there are less men than women, and with the massive loses in this war it's even worse.  Russian history is replete with wars, starvation, and gulags, and serious cultural problems involving alcoholism, AIDS, and mental illness.  The foundational cultural paradigm in Russia is suffering, and how to overcome it.  That history will never go away, the rest is potentially fixable.

One of the things that's emerged economically out of the Russo/Ukrainian War is how nations found alternative sources for their needs.  Once that happens, no one is willing to go back to "the olden days", as now these nations have a greater degree of autonomy, and they like it.

Ukraine is insisting European nations contribute boots on the ground to fight Russia, and on the front line.  That's not playing well as they've only offered peace keeping forces after the war is over, which is the usual double talk and virtual signaling by Europe's "leaders".

News and Views For March 28, 2025

Democrats

‘The New York Times Created Castro’ - During an interview with Kengor on Wednesday’s edition of The Alex Marlow Show podcast, Breitbart Editor-in-Chief Alex Marlow highlighted Kengor’s PragerU video on Cuba’s communist dictator Fidel Castro..........“A couple of things jumped out at me in your PragerU video on Castro,” Marlow said. “The New York Times created Castro, I had never thought of it that way.”.........

Editor's Note:  For those interested, please view by Humberto Fontova file, where he outlines all of this and much, much more, including JFK's corruption in preserving Castro, the embrace of media stars and Hollywood celebrities.  All this has been known for years, and suppressed for years by the Pravda media, academia, and the Democrat party.  RK

Quote of the day - The quote of the day comes via EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin Congratulations to Mr. Zeldin on the quote of the day: “I have terminated the $2 BILLION Biden EPA grant to this Stacey Abrams-linked NGO. The DOJ/FBI are investigating and the money has been frozen. It is insane that the Biden Admin would give $2B to an organization that previously only received $100!”...........

Alex Marlow with PragerU’s Dr. Paul Kengor: Democrats ‘Gave Us Pol Pot’ - During an interview with Kengor on Wednesday’s edition of The Alex Marlow Show podcast, Breitbart Editor-in-Chief Alex Marlow highlighted Kengor’s PragerU video on Pol Pot, which Marlow said confirmed his understanding that “the Democrats basically gave us Pol Pot.”....“Democrat policies led to his rise and thus widespread death,” ......

Well, That's How You Know the Dems Knew Biden Was in Rough Shape -  It’s now an open secret: everyone knew that Joe Biden was cooked—even Democrats. We’ve seen Joe’s deterioration in real-time, whereas the liberal media and the president’s allies manufactured this lie that the former president’s mental and physical health was top-notch. That Potemkin village collapsed when Donald Trump bulldozed Biden in the June debate on CNN. Worse, Trump didn’t have to do much; Biden was slow, slurred, and stupid......... Once booted off the 2024 ticket, Joe and his cronies made sure they could do everything they could to hamstring Kamala Harris.............What a selfish clown. Did he wreck things for Kamala? No. She wasn’t an upgrade. Harris was younger but just as stupid and incapable of doing media hits without coming off as totally insane........

Major DEI Non-Profit Files For Bankruptcy After Bosses Allegedly Stole Millions in

Donor Funds - A major DEI non-profit has filed for bankruptcy after its bosses allegedly stole millions in donor funds. The National Diversity Council (NDC)l filed for bankruptcy earlier this month after its board members filed a lawsuit accusing founder R. Dennis Kennedy and other top employees of siphoning off millions in funds for their own benefit. The lawsuit states:.........

House Handily Defeats Anti-Israel Amendments From Rashida Tlaib- Thursday was a bad day for Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), a particularly anti-Israel member of the Squad. The House passed the DETERRENT Act, also known as the Defending Education Transparency and Ending Rogue Regimes Engaging in Nefarious Transactions Act, which was introduced by Rep. Michael Baumgartner (R-WA). It did so without Tlaib without in favor, though, and without either of her two amendments included in the bill. ..............

Karen Bass' Destroyed Text Messages Have Miraculously Reappeared - Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass is still reeling from the massive wildfires that engulfed the county in January. It’s likely going to be labeled the costliest natural disaster in American history, with damage estimates ranging from $164-250-plus billion. Ms. Bass was not in Los Angeles when the fires broke out on January 7. She wasn’t even in the United States. The mayor was partying in Ghana, celebrating the president’s inauguration, which hardly seems appropriate, especially since this trip was taxpayer-funded. Bass promised she’d never leave the country during her time in the mayor’s office............

NPR CEO's Testimony on Capitol Hill Yesterday Was a Disaster -This might be one of my favorite Congressional hearing exchanges of all time -- or at least within recent memory.  It features Republican Congressman Brandon Gill, a freshman from Texas, and the CEO of National Public Radio, Katherine Maher.  We'll get there, but before we proceed any further, please recall that this is the same Katherine Maher whose long virtual trail of woke, partisan, knee-jerk social media posts caused a stir after she was tapped to take the helm of taxpayer-funded NPR last year.  This clip has also made the rounds, in which she laments our society's "reverence for the truth" as a "distraction" and obstacle to making progress and "getting important things done."  In the hearing yesterday, she tried to claim these comments have been taken out of context, but her point seems fairly straightforward here, and it's certainly interesting coming from someone who leads a newsroom:...........

Fired Biden Holdover Hampton Dellinger Takes Another Loss with Appeals Court’s Latest Order - A federal appeals court on Thursday responded to fired special counsel Hampton Dellinger’s request to dismiss his case as moot after he withdrew his litigation earlier this month.President Trump fired Hampton Dellinger, the Special Counsel for the Office of Special Counsel last month, however, the Biden holdover continued to fight Trump in court and was successful because the case was assigned to a corrupt Obama judge.  The appeals court previously granted a motion to stay Judge Amy Berman Jackson’s order reinstating the Biden holdover.  Following the ruling from the DC Circuit Court, Hampton Dellinger said he was ending his legal fight with Trump............

DOGE

DOGE Says 315,000 Credit Cards Have Been Canceled, Limited by Federal Agencies - The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) said about 315,000 government credit cards have been canceled or limited by various federal agencies under a cost-savings program.  The Elon Musk-affiliated group wrote in a post on Tuesday that “up to [approximately] 315,000 credit cards” were canceled by a number of federal agencies, an increase from about 298,000 cancelations as of Sunday. DOGE said this was after a five-week “pilot program” was undertaken.  Credit card cancelations this week impacted agencies including the Departments of Homeland Security, Interior, Commerce, Treasury, State, Housing and Urban Development, Health and Human Services, Education, Agriculture, and Labor.........

Fort Knox? Gold cams! - Let’s face it—we’ve all got the gold bug. When President Trump announced recently that he would conduct an audit of the Fort Knox gold reserve, it was all anyone could talk about.  A friend asked if I thought the gold was still there. I would like to think so. I would like to think military discipline didn’t completely erode under the Obama and Biden administrations. However, time, technology, and the cleverness of rats mitigate against it.  A gold bar weighs 27.5 pounds. How easy would it be to counterfeit a bar, skim-coat it with some gold, and then swap it out for the real thing on the shelf? That’s what some folks imagine has happened. Others think that the physical gold has been lent out, sold, and replaced with worthless currency or just 1s and 0s in some government account......

Europe

New report: Netherlands is now euthanizing minors -Medical murder comes for the disabled children. Again. I mean, we’ve been here before, but for some reason, a sizable enough portion of the population refuses to heed the words commonly attributed to Spanish thinker, George Santayana: “Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it,” and so we traditionalists, “clinging to” (as Barack Obama might derogatorily say) life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, are left to scream into the void about how today it’s the retarded kids, tomorrow it’s us.

My Take -  Leftism believes in nothing except hate, greed, envy, lust, and the desire to hold power over their fellow man, and more than willing to use violence to tear down anything that stands in it’s way.   All that Hitler stood for and promoted is being embraced in Europe.  As a result, the flawed values of leftism has contaminated the thinking of Europe, and every aspect of European life. Europe is lost, and will really be what Bismarck called it, a geographical designation. And unless something dramatically changes, it will be conquered by Islam.  RK

The UK’s Immigration Nightmare If Keir Starmer continues to sink in the polls, and if the Conservatives return to power, Robert Jenrick will then become the Minister of State for Justice. Whatever happens, his voice and views on the suicidal immigration policy now in place in the UK must be heard and heeded. You can find out more about […]

UK: Illegal English Channel crossings soar to ‘record high’ despite repeated government promises to stop them - The UK government issued a statement in response to the boat crossings: We all want to end dangerous small boat crossings, which threaten lives and undermine our border security.  The people-smuggling gangs do not care if the vulnerable people they exploit live or die, as long as they pay. We will stop at nothing to […]

UK Employee Fired for Calling Hamas Killers ‘Disgusting’ Robert likes to call the UK “shattered, staggering, dhimmi Britain.” I’ve always thought that an exaggeration, but the evidence keeps piling up that he is right. The latest horror story is about an employee of the Severn Trent Water Supply, Damon Joshua, a sewage worker who, on October 7, 2024, as part of a social […]

The EU’s New High Representative for Foreign Affairs Kaja Kallas’ Old Mistakes Things are looking up for Israel at the EU. The anti-Israel Josep Borrell is now gone. He has just now been replaced as the EU’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy by Kaja Kallas, the former president of Estonia known for her warm attitude toward Israel. However, despite her personal warmth, Ms. Kallas […]

Israel, the EU, and the Perils of a ‘Proportionate Response’ - The new EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas, is repeating some of the errors and falsehoods of her predecessor, Josep Borrell: “New EU High Representative Kaja Kallas makes the same old mistakes,” Elder of Ziyon, March 25, 2025: True to form, Josep Borrell criticized and condemned Israel’s escalation in Lebanon […]

Government Incompetence

Report: Medicaid Misspent $4.3 Billion in Duplicate Payments-Taxpayers spent at least $4.3 billion over a three-year period covering the same Medicaid patients twice, The Wall Street Journal reported Thursday. Medicaid paid health insurance companies for hundreds of thousands of patients who signed up for the program in two or more separate states. This happened when a patient moved to a............

Immigration

Visas for Terrorists, No Visas for Israelis - Opposing the deportation of campus terrorists isn’t about free speech. It’s about supporting terrorists. After the Trump administration moved to deport foreign campus terrorist supporters, including Momodou Taal, who had urged student protesters to take their cue from Hamas and tweeted “absolutely anyone the US calls an enemy is my friend”, there was outrage from the Left. […]

Chicago: Muslim cop vandalizes rabbi’s car, is not fired from the force or even disciplined If a Jewish cop had vandalized a Muslim cleric’s car, do you think the police would have been slow to fire him? Also, we would be inundated with propaganda about “Islamophobia.” But this gets little notice. EXCLUSIVE: Chicago Police Officer Mohammed Khan was caught kicking an elderly rabbi’s car.

Islam

India: Muslim gang kidnaps and tortures Hindu man for talking to a Muslim woman The Qur’an forbids Muslim women to marry “idolaters”: “Do not marry idolatresses until they believe, for indeed, a believing slave woman is better than an idolatress, even though she pleases you. And do not give your daughters in marriage to idolaters until they believe, for indeed, a believing slave is better than an idolater, even […]

Iran: Senior ayatollah tells US that Iranian people ‘will wipe you off the face of history and politics’ Meanwhile, in the U.S., prominent “influencers” tell us that Iran, which is working on developing nuclear weapons, is no threat to the U.S., and that only “the Jews” are insisting otherwise in order to advance the cause of a “Greater Israel” in the Middle East. The only people who could believe this are those who

Hamas funded Columbia protesters, bragged to hostages about their ‘American operatives’ It was obvious from the beginning that the student protesters were tools of Hamas. Now it turns out that they were actually an arm of Hamas. This supports, of course, the idea that those among them who are not U.S. citizens should be deported. “Columbia activists worked with Hamas, captors told rescued hostage Shlomi Ziv,” […]

Mahmoud Khalil Hid His Work with UNRWA Mahmoud Khalil turns out to have been far more than the innocent student protester — not a leader, but just one among so many — whom he pretends to be. More on the latest news about Mahmoud Khalil can be found here: “US says Columbia student Mahmoud Khalil hid UNRWA work,” Reuters, March 24, 2025: The […]

Middle East

Iran and Turkey call on global community to ‘stop Israel’s crimes in region’ - Days ago, Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Khamenei, issued calls for protesters in the US and Europe to stop the Israeli military in Gaza. Turkey has joined Iran in accusing Israel of “crimes” in the region against the Gaza Strip, Lebanon, Yemen, and Syria. These are specific areas where Hamas, Hizballah, and the Houthis have all […]

The IDF’s Latest Blow Against the Jihadists in Gaza The British journalist Brendan O’Neill reports on the IDF’s recent renewal of fighting in Gaza, where it has devastated what remained of Hamas’ leadership, and on how the Western media, instead of celebrating, has been denouncing Israel for this achievement. More on O’Neill’s furious reaction to that media coverage can be found here: “Why don’t […]

Hamas Won't Like What the Justice Department Just Did  - The Justice Department on Thursday announced that it has disrupted a scheme to finance terrorist group Hamas. The DOJ seized a little over $200,000 in cryptocurrency that was supposed to go toward funding Hamas,............U.S. Attorney Edward R. Martin Jr. explained that the seizures “show that this office will search high and low for every cent of money going to fund Hamas” and said the terrorist group “is responsible for the deaths of many U.S. and Israeli nationals.”..........

Rockets to Roses: Israel’s bizarre trade cycle with Aza - In a striking twist of economic irony, “Israel” proper finds itself caught in a peculiar recycling cycle-of-trade with Aza (“Gaza” is the Arab name, but Aza is part of the Land of Israel).  Israel offers (and allows in) steel, food, gas, and free electricity to the Jew-haters in the client state of Aza, which in turn uses these resources to manufacture rockets.  Those rockets are then fired back at Israeli residents, where their fragments (if safe) are repurposed into… Judaica. Yes, really......Excuse me, I need to go duck.  Another economic boom incoming!......

Signalgate

A Reporter Asked AG Bondi About the Signal Story During an MS-13 Presser. He Didn't Expect This Answer. - Attorney General Pam Bondi and FBI Director Kash Patel oversaw a successful law enforcement raid that captured one of the nation’s top leaders of the gang MS-13. This person, 24 years old, had been in the gang for ten years and quickly sharked his way to the top. Based on the documents recovered upon his arrest, he was one of the prominent leaders of this criminal operation. This individual was arrested by federal agents yesterday.........

What Are Dems Trying to Say Regarding the NSA's Secret Sex Chat Fiasco and This Signal Story?- This Signal story involving Pete Hegseth, Michael Waltz, and other top Trump officials has Democrats licking their chops over nothing. This story isn’t going anywhere, and no one is getting fired. So, scream into the void; we’re moving on. It was an unforced error as Waltz, or someone on his staff, accidentally added The Atlantic’s Jeffrey Goldberg into this chat on the encrypted messenger app. Goldberg alleges secret anti-Houthi war plans were divulged. They were not, but the media is going to peddle a lie because the chats were real—their contents are the subject of exaggeration....

The Liberal Media Is SIGNALing a lot of Bullcrap Right Now- Only liberal America could be more upset over an encrypted messenger app slip-up than a shambolic exit from Afghanistan that got Americans killed. Democrats think they smell blood in the water, as the media-manufactured fallout from the leaked Signal chat story continues to make the Left all giddy over nothing. .........

The Passing Signal Psychodrama - How does this blunder rank with prior diplomatic and military screw-ups?  When we finally learn the full melodrama of the so-called Signal 1-2 day “scandal” of inviting a leftwing, Trump-despising, Atlantic editor Jeffrey Goldberg onto a supposedly secure conference list, involving most of the top Trump security officials, lots of questions need asking and answering.  Most importantly, who exactly had Goldberg’s private number, and ostensibly (in error [?]) could have possibly inserted it into the cleared list of participants in the discussions? Why Goldberg, rather than some random person of some 345 million Americans?...........

My Take - The above article was written by Victor Davis Hanson, and as usual he has great insights, and ..... great questions.... questions I've asked, and would love to see answers to them, especially on how this "journalist" got on that list in the first place.  It's been claimed this was a "mistake" by a staffer, and I have no doubt a staffer is responsible, but I questioned whether this was a "mistake" from the beginning.  One thing was clear to me from the beginning, and this was a nothing burger from a corrupt media, and Democrats with the integrity of scorpions.     RK
Voter Rights

Supreme Court Grapples With Louisiana Voting Rights Act Case - The Supreme Court on March 24 grappled with a much-litigated racial gerrymandering case from Louisiana involving two consolidated cases: Louisiana v. Callais and Robinson v. Callais. Gerrymandering refers to the manipulation of electoral district boundaries to benefit a particular party or constituency......
