It's my opinion the very best news site in America today is American Thinker. Everyday they put out around twenty well thought out and well presented pieces dealing with every issue facing humanity, and very often some of those articles will be the basis for my articles, including this one.
A few of those authors actually work for AT, but the bulk are from
authors who as far as I can tell, are unpaid contributors, I've even contributed a piece to AT. Some of these contributors are actually well known in their fields. Even if you're not a
subscriber to get ad free access, their page isn't cluttered up with a
lot of ads and styles, it's all very easy and clean. Compare AT with Townhall, Breitbart, Liberty Nation News, Gateway Pundit, World Net Daily,
all great sites, and among those I visit daily for articles of interest, but
all are in magazine style. I prefer AT, it's a web site,
not a magazine.
If you're a subscriber there are a couple of benefits. First, you may view comments, and comment on the articles yourself, and, AT is mostly troll free these days. Subscribers also receive a weekly newsletter, which I can't link for your perusal.
In this week's newsletter J.R.
Dunn published an absolutely outstanding piece on the judicial
insurrection taking place in America today. America's third
revolution! Rogue judges in open rebellion crippling the
authority of the Executive and attempting to replace it with their own views on how
the nation should be governed, in total violation of the Constitution,
totally corrupting the rule of law, which is in fact another form of lawfare.
He makes the point that "leftism is at base infinitely corrupt, any act carried out in support of a leftist goal is, ipso facto, a corrupt act". He goes on to say:
Of the 146 legal actions taken against Pres. Trump this year—37 of them injunctions—not a single one is worth the paper it’s printed on. They are a form of harassment—worthless, inadequate, fraudulent actions issued for partisan purposes, about on the same level as keying a Tesla or setting fire to a charging station.
As for SCOTUS, John Roberts is a disgrace and gives every intention of doing nothing. A court with three totally unfit leftists, four who are partially unhinged, and two actual justices on the court.
Congress is making moves to address this legislatively since the Constitution gives the Congress the power to determine the jurisdiction of the federal courts, but that's a painfully slow process, and given the corruption and/or invertebracy of many of the Republicans in the House and Senate, it might not happen until after 2026, assuming more Republicans get seated, conservative Republicans, but if that doesn't happen, it won't happen.
However, he subscribes to something I've believed from the beginning. Corruption of thought breeds corruption of action, and he references the totally fictional movie about Eliot Ness played by Kevin Costner, and the little black book.
A judge who is on the take by Capone makes a ruling that's clearly corrupt, so Ness opens the little black book taken from the Capone's accountant listing all the politicians, cops, and judges on Capone's payroll, and makes it appear that judge's name is in the book. It wasn't, but he didn't know that, and he reverses his decision. Conclusion, if corruption breeds corruption, and all things from the left are founded in corruption, these judges, all of these judges, need to be investigated. And done so with all the resources of the federal government, which when focused properly can be amazingly impressive. He goes on to say:
Investigate what, you say? Investigate everything. Their history, their careers, their personal contacts, their legal decisions, their connections, their bank accounts, their second and third homes. Investigate everything straight down to the ground. Anything can be corrupted, and if it can be corrupted, you can be damned well certain somebody has done so. We have already pointed out that leftism corrupts whatever it touches; this is no exception.
One thing we know for sure, the more corruption is allowed to hold sway, those corrupted begin to believe they have a pure and righteous right to be corrupt, until someone says "stop, that's wrong. It's not acceptable and will not be allowed to go unpunished"! Then things start to crumble. Will investigators find anything? Dunn says it isn't a matter of "if", it's a matter of "when". Start asking questions, and all of a sudden answers start rolling in.
