Stacey Abrams Belongs in Jail

By Susan Daniels Mar 29, 2025 @ Susan's Newsletter

The Washington Free Beacon under the headline “Stacey Abrams was Pivotal in Securing $2 Billion Biden Grant for Green Group That Now Calls Her Role ‘Alleged’” offers the following:

“The Stacey Abrams-linked environmental coalition that received $2 billion during the Biden administration argued in court that its connection to Abrams is "alleged." Just one year ago, the coalition's lead group lauded Abrams for playing "a pivotal role" in the application that secured the funds.

“The group, Washington, D.C.-based Power Forward Communities, filed a federal lawsuit against the EPA and its administrator, Lee Zeldin, earlier this month, asking the court to undo the agency's termination of the $2 billion grant the Biden administration awarded it in April 2024.”

The ample Abrams has been a fraud and a grifter all her life, much like the Obamas. She never had much to offer but was the perfect pawn. She graduated from Yale but was far in debt because she didn’t understand how credit cards affected a credit score.

She was defeated twice as a candidate for governor of Georgia and probably thought she had a chance now that Brian Kemp’s term ends in 2026. I think she can put that one to sleep. Maybe she can work that storyline into one of the soft-porn romance books she writes under the pen name Selena Montgomery.

Power Forward Communities had assets of $100 in 2023 and was awarded $2 billion in 2024 by the Biden administration. Cui bono? It established a coalition of groups, including Rewiring America with director Ian Magruder who said:

“For the past few months our team has been hard at work on this monumental application for $9.5 billion in funding to electrify more than half a million homes, especially in lower income and disadvantaged communities…" and “Stacey Abrams played a pivotal role."

“Additionally, the Southern Economic Advancement Project and Fair Count, two left-wing nonprofits founded by Abrams in the wake of her 2018 Georgia gubernatorial election defeat, are listed as two of Power Forward Communities ‘partners’ who help implement its mission.”

Imagine what an organization with $100 could do with $9.5 billion.

I recently wrote an article about the dubious activities of Abrams. It included: According to Capitol Bear News Service a special Georgia Senate committee wants to look into a settlement in January between groups involving Abrams and the Georgia Ethics Commission.

“I think we ought to get to the bottom of these allegations,” Sen. Bill Cowsert, R-Athens, said Feb. 28, explaining why he had introduced Senate Resolution 292 the day before.

“The New Georgia Project and a separate fundraising arm, the New Georgia Action Fund, agreed to pay $300,000 for failing to disclose $4.2 million in contributions and $3.2 million in spending during the 2018 election cycle on behalf of Abrams’ unsuccessful bid for governor.

“It was the largest fine ever assessed by the Ethics Commission.”

Why isn’t this woman dressed in orange? If they don’t have anything that will fit, I sew. I can throw something together for her.

Stacey Abrams: Still Crooked After All These Years

By Susan Daniels Mar 04, 2025 @ Susan's Newsletter

Georgia Republicans now want to investigate the shady Stacey Abrams, who ran twice for governor of the state. What took so long?

According to Capitol Bear News Service a special Georgia Senate committee wants to look into a settlement in January between groups involving Abrams and the Georgia Ethics Commission.

From an AP story: “U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Lee Zeldin that $2 billion was improperly given to a coalition of groups trying to reduce emissions of greenhouse gases. Abrams worked with one of the groups until the end of last year.”

I tried to tip everyone off about Abrams with a story I posted in American Thinker in August 2020:

When Stacey Abrams was running for Georgia governor, she had an impressive list of social changes she wanted to make. People paying their bills didn’t make the cut.

Abrams was $228,000 in debt during her 2017 campaign for Georgia governor, including $50,000 to I.R.S. Despite that, she managed to loan her campaign $50,000. She also owed $76,000 in credit card debt and $96,000 for Yale Law School.

Abrams claimed that family obligations and a misunderstanding of how credit cards worked as the reason for her financial mess. This from a woman who is a tax attorney who wanted to be the vice president of the United States.

Abrams claims the concept of handling money seemed to escape her. She wrote that when she was at Spelman College, she got her first credit cards but was unaware that they would be “yoked to something called a credit score.” She also learned that if you don’t pay your rent, you get evicted, the way she was in 1994 from the Oaktree Apartments in Decatur, GA just like she and her sister, Andrea, did.

In a continuing effort to blame others for her failings, Abrams claimed some of her financial problems stemmed from when she helped her parents in 2005 when Hurricane Katrina hit Mississippi. She is one of six children, including a sister, Leslie Abrams Gardner, who was appointed to a federal judgeship by Barack Obama. How did her parents’ debt become only hers to carry and how was it still around twelve years later in 2017, especially when she was able to loan her campaign $50,000?

Abrams, a tax lawyer, who graduated from Yale in 1999, with $96,000 in student loan debt, still had repaid none of it almost twenty years later when she ran for governor. She even got jammed up by the I.R.S. in 2010 when she declared her parents as dependents on her tax filing.

She justified this in an interview:

“Abrams, 44, has talked publicly about her struggles with mounting credit card debt dating to when she was a student at Spelman College. And she said she "stretched every penny I had" to help her parents after Hurricane Katrina devastated the Gulf Coast in 2005.

“She cited those expenses in her decision to work out a payment plan for the $54,000 she owes the IRS. She’s also said a previous federal income tax lien of nearly $30,000 was filed erroneously in 2010 when she was trying to claim her parents as dependents as they faced mounting medical issues.

"While delaying tax payments wasn't my smartest move, it allowed me to take care of the parents who'd sacrificed so much for me and my siblings..."

She neglected to mention that when she was hired out of law school in 1999 by a law firm in Atlanta, Sutherland Asbill & Brennan, that paid her $95,000 a year, but Abrams she still wasn’t paying her bills.

On Abrams’ 2018 Financial Disclosure Statement filed for her run for Georgia governor, Section X shows she listed receipts of $909,006.89 in money received from twenty different companies.

Since there was nothing listed in Section X on her 2015 filing, it was curious what the listings were two years later. An email received from the GA Gov’t Transparency & Campaign Commission said: “Section X deals with payments by the state [sic] of Georgia to an entity that is controlled by (or substantially owned by) a candidate.”

Another email explained that the money listed on the X Section of her statement was received from the Department of Community Affairs and given to the Small Business Credit Cooperative Inc. (SBBCI) and the Trade Credit Guaranty Corporation (TCGC). It also said: “There were no payments directly paid to Stacey Abrams at any time.” Word play at its finest.

Both SBBCI and TCGC received money from the state to distribute by a company called NOWaccount Network Corporation to companies seeking loans. Abrams was identified as an officer for the NOWaccount Network.

That organization loans money to approved entities. The twenty companies listed on Abrams’ Financial Disclosure received almost a million dollars in 2016 from NOWaccount.

Stacey Abrams helped incorporate NOWaccount in 2010 and received a salary of $80,000 as senior vice president and $60,000 a year through 2015, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

But she was also an officer in both the SSBCI and TCGC from 2016 to 2018. In other words, she controlled the money NOWaccount received, helped decide who got the money and how much they would get. Of the twenty companies who got money via Abrams, eight companies were dissolved between 2016 and 2018.

A request for a list of companies that did not repay their loans was ignored. The SBBCI was a one-time program that terminated in September 2017.

Few elections have cost more than the one Abrams ran against Brian Kemp. The cost of Abrams’ race for governor exceeded $100 million and was financed by out-of-state money from mega-donors like George Soros and Tom Steyer. As of April 2020, Abrams was still under investigation for ethics violation pertaining to the campaign money she received. Despite losing by 55,000 votes, she still insists that she won, in the mode of Hillary Clinton.

She started paying IRS $1,000 a month toward her $50,000 debt in 2017 but magically all her debt disappeared by May 2019. Did she use her campaign money to pay off all $228,000?

Despite her financial problems, Abrams was able to buy a townhouse in Atlanta in 2004 for $246,300 and a house in Stone Mountain in 2019 for $370,000.

What’s interesting is that in 2019 she was slapped with her seventh tax lien against her non-profit, Third Sector Development, since 2014. Between then and 2016 the Georgia Labor Dept. issued $13,000 in tax liens for unpaid employment contributions. In a Daily Caller story: “Abrams has blamed third-party-clerical errors for all the issues.”

Also from the 02/13/19 story: “Nonprofit work has paid Abrams handsomely over the years. Third Sector Development and Voter Sector Institute -- two groups founded by the Democrat (Abrams) -- have paid her nearly half a million dollars over the course of three years. Both organizations raked in $12.5 million in donation between 2013 and 2016. However, she has remained quiet on the sources of the donations.”

Although Abrams considered herself a contender for Biden’s VP, no one else did. Biden insiders talked to the New York Post about her:

“No one takes Stacey seriously. And her public campaigning for the job seems more like a hostage negotiation than an actual attempt to get the job,” a Biden insider told The Post. “Biden is an old school guy and will always be. Picking Stacey would be like picking [Sarah] Palin. He doesn’t need to throw a Hail Mary. He wants a good governing partner.

“Internally, her star has fallen with the onset of the coronavirus as concerns grow about her preparedness.

“Stacey isn’t ready on day one. Even she knows that and it’s why she’s engaging in this dance. She might get perfunctorily better, but she’s not a serious pick for him. And her campaign is viewed as much as promotion for her book as it is for being chosen as Biden’s VP,” the insider continued, referring to Abrams’ forthcoming book “Our Time Is Now.”

So it seems that Joe Biden could have done worse. Though perhaps not by much.

Stacey Abrams' aide: Burning cars, smashing windows isn't violence

Ideology aligns with media claims 2020 riots were 'mostly peaceful'

According to One America News, it was Marisa Pyle, a top adviser for Abrams, who claimed, on social media, "You cannot commit violence against a window or a car. Killing a human? Now that, that is violence. Shame on Atlanta’s leaders who fall into the same tired path of protecting property while our people are murdered by their police."..............To Read More...

Stacey Abrams: Racist Face of Democrat Party

By Mychal Massie October 3, 2022

Democrats come in all sizes, but as Stacey Abrams, Democrat gubernatorial candidate for Georgia has proven time and again, Democrat women are morally opprobrious, Erebusic harridans; specifically those who like Abrams use their melanin content in an attempt to obfuscate their demonic characteristics.

Abrams is a disgraceful human being who admirably represents vile policies Democrats, especially those like her who prostitute melanin – when in fact their most marketable feature is best represented in a weight loss advertisement.

I don’t apologize for finding her and those like her, e.g., the Obama woman, Oprah Winfrey, et al who epitomize bigotry and racism, deplorable.

As gubernatorial candidate she is promoting the same divisive mantra that her Democrat crayon color sisterhood spew religiously.  In one of her more unhinged screeds, she argued that just because more voters came to the polls…there is no causal relationship between turnout and suppression, and turnout is actually the ‘antidote’ to suppression.  Don’t worry; I don’t understand what she meant either.

Jack Marshall quoted Abrams in his May 25, 2022 article: Unethical Quote Of The Month: Stacey Abrams. Once again the majesty of the spectacle she makes of herself cannot be overstated as she claimed:

“We know that increased turnout has nothing to do with suppression.  Suppression is about whether or not you make it difficult for voters to access the ballot. And in Georgia, we know difficulty has been put in place for too many Georgians who vote by mail, who had to figure out a calendar of applying just early enough but not to late.  You had to have wet signatures so they could print things out.  Take a picture, upload it.”  I have no idea what she is claiming.

Of course, we understand that her confusing hebephrenic screed is a thinly veiled accusation that colored-folks are being suppressed at the ballot.  Beyond that, I’d question if even she understands what she is saying.

I’d argue she show support for Negro crime suppression.  Hope Ford, writing for Atlanta’s 11Alive, verified that as of May 22, 2021, the likelihood of being shot in Atlanta was higher than in Chicago. I add, especially if you fit the high melanin content profile and not by law enforcement.  Ford wrote:

“Black men are reported as victims at an overwhelmingly high rate.  In total, 291 of the 311 shootings victims this year were black, with 252 of all those shootings being black men.”

I submit, Abrams’ energy would be better spent making sure her kind make it home from school without being shot than it is fomenting discord.

I submit, that Abrams’ energy would be better spent teaching Negro women that abortion is neither birth control nor is it women’s health.  It is the end result of animalistic decision-making.  Contrary to what her kind would have us believe, Colored people can live above the level of animals in heat if they try.  Also, contrary to what Abrams claimed about infant heartbeats at six-weeks old, my best friend and his wife heard the heartbeat of their yet to be born grandchild at five-weeks.

Instead of making fallacious accusations about the so-called white man out to hold the Negro back, she would do much better telling women in her crayon demographic that having babies before they can afford a pizza is almost at the same level of poor decision-making as killing their children for birth control.

She would do well to explain that self-respect is not synonymous with being a sperm receptacle for every guy living in the projects and selling dope on the corner.  Or the ones who think hip-hop culture and trying to be a professional athlete are better pursuits than studying and getting a good education or learning a trade.

Abrams is a stereotypical portrayal of her kind when it comes to exploiting those who place value in being a crayon color juxtaposed to embracing modernity and the equipoise of opportunity.  She and kind barter acrimony for votes by not telling people the reason they don’t have a higher standard of life is because of poor decision-making and absence of incentive.

The Apostle Paul implored the early Christians to imitate him, as he imitated Christ.  He lived a Christ-centered life and invested the Word of God and Christian character in the people he ministered to.

I say, Abrams would do more for those she is exploiting for votes if she promoted proper Christian lifestyles as opposed to transgenderism, deviant debaucherous behavior, hatred and disharmony.

Black betrayal: Pied pipers of self-destruction

By Pastor Stephen Broden October 3, 2022

Stacey Abrams's recent rant that abortion is biblical is another example of how willing black leaders are to throw the community under the bus to achieve their selfish ambitions.

Nothing in the pages of the Holy Scriptures justifies the murder of innocent life.  To abort a baby is the murder of innocent life by any definition.  A baby is a person distinct from the mother, who carries it in her womb.  Often pro-abortionist scream, "My body, my choice"; however, the baby is not the mother's body.  The sex of the baby may be different from the mother's.  Hair, eyes, and body type may be different from the mother's.  Indeed, the baby's fingerprints are different.  Science indicates that the baby and the mother are distinct persons.  So why is Abrams lying to the community about abortion and conflating health care with the murder of babies? .........Closely examining what these so-called leaders have accomplished for the black community will find a record of nothingness...............A blatant black betrayal is deceiving the black community.  Our leaders, like pied pipers, are seducing and leading our communities into self-destruction, motivated by their selfish ambitions for position and power. ...To Read More.....

Black Georgia Leaders: Stacey Abrams "Doesn't Speak for the Black Community"

Kyle Morris 11 May 2021

A coalition of black business owners and leaders held a press conference Tuesday where they demanded corporations, particularly those in Atlanta, Georgia, understand the diversity of opinions in the black community before taking political stances.

The event, which was co-hosted by Black Americans for a Better Future Education Fund and the Georgia Black Republican Council, also sought to call out left-wing activist Stacey Abrams for her role in prompting Major League Baseball (MLB) to withdraw its All-Star Game from the Peach State, telling Americans that Abrams’ views do not reflect that of all black Americans.

“It’s been estimated that Cobb County will lose north of $100 million in revenue and economic activity as a result of baseball’s unilateral decision to relocate the game,” said Raynard Jackson, founder and chairman of the Black Americans for a Better Future Education Fund. “We want to put a human face on this issue today. These are not just mere statistics and data that Cobb County put out.”

“You have one person by the name of Stacey Abrams who lied,” Jackson continued. “She got Major League Baseball to relocate the game. She got corporations like Delta Airlines, Coca-Cola, to come out against the Georgia Integrity Act.”...........To Read More. and Watch Videos in Opposition to Stacey Abrans...

Stacey Abrams Blurts Out The Real Reason Why She Opposes Georgia’s Voting Integrity Law

By

Failed gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams, who famously refused to concede her election, has been making a name as a “voting rights” activist, particularly in the State of Georgia.

Democrats far and wide credited Abrams with Biden’s win in Georgia, as well as the special election victories of Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock. But how could a red state go so blue so quickly, specifically when all the other souther (sic) states went for Trump?   “Are you concerned that Democrats could actually lose control of the House and Senate as a result of those?”..............“But I honestly want us to return to the fundamentals of voting.”

The fundamentals of voting are this: One citizen, one legal vote. Unfortunately, this seems to be a difficult concept for Democrats to grasp, gathering from their opposition to common sense election provisions like voter IDs................Abrams, and the partisan media that refuses to challenge her, continues to repeat this non-sensical talking point that measures to ensure one citizen has one vote are “restrictions” on “access” to the election. In a sense, they are right: They are “restrictions” against committing fraud in U.S. elections............To Read More....

So MLB is fine with ball games in Cuba and training in China, but Georgia is the human-rights problem

By Monica Showalter

You could tell that the Major League Baseball (MLB) decision to pull its All-Star game out of Atlanta was a deeply unpopular one, based on the ambivalent reaction of far-left failed gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams.  Here's the money quote from her Twitter statement: ............

After all, isn't she the one who pushed through most of the fraud-enabling laws on the books in Georgia which triggered the recent legislative action?  The blacks-are-too-dumb-to-have-voter-ID idiotic notion, so by extension, nobody should have to show voter ID to vote, even though everyone needs to show ID to buy a beer at an MLB game, or buy a ticket to one?

She needs to make up her mind.

So which is it?  Not wanting to see families hurt, or being all in for the boycott of Atlanta, which certainly should affect the city tax base?  She wants to have it both ways, boycott but nobody hurt.  That's because unlike MLB, she wants to win public office, and knows that screwing over black businesses, which will get it in the teeth with this MLB maneuver, is going to make her unpopular.

Here's the MLB statement:..... Abrams's response is just the tip of the iceberg of the hypocrisy and contradictions seen from this MLB maneuver — stiffing black-owned American small businesses just emerging from a pandemic to protest a U.S. law they are perfectly free to campaign for to change otherwise through elections, or else playing the ball game without politics and drawing a big audience.  Which is it for them?  And by the way, how many of their baseball players are American citizens?...............To Read More..

Stacey Abrams SOTU Response Was Bizarre (And It's Based on Lies)

Beth Baumann Feb 06, 2019

Failed gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams prepared the Democrats' response to President Trump's State of the Union address. Going into it, none of us really knew what to expect but honestly, the bar wasn't set too high. Abrams never conceded to Brian Kemp and she's continually pushed the idea that "voter suppression" (not the people's voice) is what kept her from winning her bid for governor of Georgia.

Although the Democrats might not have known exactly what President Trump was going to address on Tuesday night, whoever wrote her speech cast a really, really wide net. She mentioned issues Trump didn't even touch on, like gun control and climate change. Not only that, but the response was focused on Abrams personal story. And while she tried to use her own anecdotal experiences to deliver a message, it came off as selfish and rather narcissistic.

Here are some highlights from her speech (emphasis mine):..........To Read More....

Democrat Losers: Undignified and Dangerous

Hillary Clinton and Al Gore have a lot to answer for.

David Catron November 19, 2018

What do Al Gore, Hillary Clinton, Stacey Abrams, and Bill Nelson have in common? Each asked the voters for important positions of leadership and promptly proved themselves unworthy of those offices when the answer was “No.” It isn’t necessary, of course, to revisit Gore’s reluctant acceptance of reality or Clinton’s querulous hypocrisy. The tawdry details of those episodes are well known. But the long-term harm they wrought on the republic merits consideration. The extent of that damage was clearly demonstrated Friday, when Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams finally admitted that the laws of mathematics could not be overcome by frivolous lawsuits.
The Friday non-concession speech Abrams inflicted on the citizens of Georgia was easily one of the most disgraceful political performances of the century thus far. She grudgingly acknowledged that Brian Kemp will be the Peach State’s next governor, but went on to accuse him — without evidence — of voter suppression during his tenure as secretary of state. Even worse, her bitter diatribe included a promise to file additional lawsuits in order to “pursue accountability in Georgia’s elections and integrity in the process of maintaining our voting rolls.” Abrams pledged to fight mythical “mismanagement of this election and to protect future elections from unconstitutional actions.”............To Read More.....
