By Recall the famous 1988 blockbuster movie based on the minor league baseball experience of the North Carolina Durham Bulls. Nominated for an Oscar, Sports Illustrated ranked it the “greatest sports film of all time.” Now we have “Bull” John Durham, the tireless, relentless prosecutor who—like the protagonist in the movie played by Kevin Costner—just won’t give up. He is that dogged. And he will get the girl—or the crooks, as in this case.
You remember reading Ernest Hemingway’s For Whom the Bell Tolls, likely as a sophomore in a boring high school English class? Do you still hear the bell chiming? The 1930s Spanish civil war novel actually takes its title from an old English poem by John Donne. It is about the church bells tolling—at death.
Well, thanks to John Durham, the bells are starting to toll for all the culprits in the attempted coup d’état to overthrow the duly elected 45th president of the United States, Donald Trump.
Special prosecutor Durham is indicting a slew of bad actors who committed unthinkable crimes and conspiracy. It took him a while, but he has built a substantial, rock-solid, and evidence-based case.
