When Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) tweeted that Pres. Trump and Republican governors “are sending vulnerable workers to die w/ false claims of safety,” Blexit leader and conservative commentator Candace Owens sprang to their defense. On Thursday, Ocasio-Cortez posted the accusation on Twitter in response to a comment by former White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders criticizing the congresswoman for calling Americans to boycott work, once they have the chance to return:
Owens, whose Blexit movement seeks to introduce conservative values to urban communities, replied to Ocasio-Cortez, saying that the Democrat’s radical goal is to impoverish and control minorities, making them dependent on government for their survival.
“You’re a racist, radical communist that wants to expand government control and dependency— and you are using the plight of minorities to fulfill your sick and twisted goals,” Owens responded. What’s more, if poverty puts minorities at risk of dying from coronavirus, boycotting work is the last thing they should be doing, Owens writes:
“You routinely complain that poverty is the reason that more minorities will die from Covid-19. —but you advocate for a BOYCOTT of employment, thereby impoverishing millions MORE minorities. You’re an intellectual coward that only responds to white people that criticize you.”........To Read More.....
