Is Venezuela’s President-in-Waiting a True Friend of the U.S.?

Leftist DNA runs deep in Venezuela's political culture.

 The Trump administration has implicitly acknowledged that its Venezuela policy has a major problem: Juan Guaidó. Venezuela's beleaguered president-in-waiting, a leftist at heart, has received considerable support from the Trump administration to achieve a major U.S. policy goal: ease out Venezuela's socialist dictator Nicolás Maduro, a stooge of Cuba and Russia. Guaidó would then serve as interim president in a democratic Venezuela.

The 36-year-old Guaidó, a professional politician backed by Venezuela's democratically elected National Assembly, has nevertheless let down the Trump administration, and he may even be playing the president for a chump if recent comments by his ad hoc adviser are anything to go by. Maduro, meanwhile, has doubled down on the late President Hugo Chávez's socialist policies, ensuring that oil-rich yet impoverished Venezuela remains an economic basket case and authoritarian hell-hole........To Read More....

My Take - Amazing.  These leftist loons flee their leftist ruled homes, which is supposed to be utopian, come to America and then condemn America, Americans, and all those who gave them shelter from leftist monsters, because it isn't utopian to their standards, which is unknown. But they know, and I mean KNOW, Trump is a monster.  Are these people even sane?

Before WWII the Frankfurt School, all socialists, fled Germany and did much to destroy higher education in America, filling these young kids minds with socialism, making those schools unmanageable.  And we let them get away with it.  Socialists fleeing socialist run countries  to bring that failed system to the most successful capitalist nation in the world.  America!  Amazing.

Venezuela is now and has always been under the spell of socialism going back to the founder of Venezuela, Simon Bolivar, who was a believer in The Enlightenment, the forerunner of outright socialism.   But all their "enlightened" schemes were always to be implemented with force.  Just as the left today rants and raves about individual rights, when in power they trample those rights for the "good of the many", which is always the ruling socialists.  

The best Venezuela can hope for is to avoid starving to death, but their economy is never coming back, and socialist schemes and socialist leaders will never go away.  They're as doomed as the EU.
