Trump’s Feud With Muslim Family is a Choreographed Distraction

Donald Trump’s unfamiliarity with the ways of politics is both a strength and a hindrance. In one way, his outsider status is exactly what attracted voters to him in the primaries. His tone and temperament were like nothing we’d ever seen before in American politics. At a time when conservatives were sick to death of Republicans who sat at the time throne of political correctness as liberals, Trump was a breath of fresh air.

On the other hand, Trump’s naivetĂ© allows Hillary Clinton to bait him into a fight he would be better off avoiding. That’s exactly what she did last week when she threw Khizr Khan and his wife on stage at the Democratic National Convention. Khan, whose son was an Army captain killed in Iraq, made a memorable speech blasting Trump for his views on Muslims. It was pure political theater, but it made an impact. And that impact has only been strengthened by Trump’s inability to let sleeping dogs lie.

Over the last few days, Trump has defended himself against Khan’s “vicious attacks” by musing that if it weren’t for strict Muslim doctrine, his wife might have had a few words to say on stage as well.

This not only allowed Khan’s wife to speak out and prove him wrong, it has inspired every Republican politician with access to a microphone to launch another round of criticism at the nominee.......To Read More.....

My Take - I keep reading this kind of stuff but I keep asking - what should he have done?  He's not in control of what the media chooses to promote and Khan would have been the Cindy Sheehan of this election.  Bush said nothing and Sheehan never stopped being a thorn in his side - which was the media's choice.

Obama golfs and vacations like no President ever did and the media barely mentions it.  Bush went to his home in Texas and Cindy Sheehan camped outside his home surrounded by media and fellow leftists - and it was in the news daily claiming Bush was incompetent because he left the White House during a critical time. Implying her son would still be alive if he hadn't been away so often.  By Trump jumping on this he's been made to look silly by the media, and RINO's, and the left.

But is that the way much of the public sees it?

Because of Trump's comments Kahn has been exposed as a Jihadi is sheep's clothes.  Just as Sandra Fluke was a fraud - so too is Kahn and he won't be able to be the unending media thorn in Trump's side.  I don’t care how much Trump or anyone else beats on this man.  He’s just as treasonous as the party he’s defending.   Let’s try and get this right.  He's a Muslim.

The Koran obligates them to lie, cheat, steal and murder in support of Jihad, and that’s what he is, a Jihadi.  And his son serving and dying is immaterial to the story because Trump had nothing to do with that - Hillary did because she voted for the military intervention that killed him but that's not mentioned - but Trump didn't.  And just because he lost a son in Iraq doesn't give him a pass on everything he says or does.  His son's death is no more a part of the real story than was Cindy Sheehan’s son’s death.  Using his son’s death in such a manner was condemnable.  But to a Muslim anything in support of Jihad is acceptable.   And Trump is right.  They aren’t migrating - they’re invading.

I hope Trump keeps beating on him because it's forced many to investigate Khan, and now it's come out the Constitution - a document he seemingly carries around with him and keeps close to his breast and seems to prize so highly should be, according to Khan, subordinate to Sharia.  Oooops....Khan hasn't come out looking so good.  What does Khan really believe?  Take a look!

Does anyone really believe this would have come to the fore as it has if Trump hadn't beat on him?  The fact of the matter is all the other candidates would have followed the leftist script and been "civil" and said little or nothing and looked weak and stupid.  Trump isn't made of that fiber, and the leftists hate that.  How dare a Republican use their very own tactics against them!
