Hungry gang butchers thoroughbred horse after breaking into zoo in search of food 'due to economic crisis'

Venezuela's problems are causing food shortages for the people - some of whom have taken desperate action

A gang in search of food broke into a zoo at night and butchered a horse for food, it has been reported. The shocking incident in Caraca has been held up as an example of the desperation of the Venezuelan people who are enduring a severe economic crisis ..  With looting and food shortages commonplace, it's been reported that several people forced their way into Caricuao Zoo in search of food.  When they found the black stallion's area, they broke in and led the animal, to a secluded area, reports Fusion .  Prosecutors have revealed the incident, which happened on July 24, saw the thoroughbred butchered for its meat, leaving only its head and ribs for zookeepers to find......A tapir reportedly died in the zoo from starvation just weeks before the horse was slain........To Read More.....

My Take - Sean Penn - where are you now?  Penn noted after Chavez's death that "Venezuela and its revolution will endure under the proven leadership of vice president Maduro."

Wow!  Sean Penn, Oliver Stone, Naomi Campbell, Michael Moore, Don King, Noam Chomsky, Danny Glover - where are you now?  And why haven't you moved to this people's socialist paradise - and taken your money with you?  Oh yes.....and if you own any horses President Maduro would like for you to bring them also.

As for these "counter revolutionaries" who dared to kill and eat this horse to prevent their families from starving to death President Maduro has promised any coup attempts will be met with pruges greater than those propagated by Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan agaisnt his rivals.....so bring horses to prevent Maduro from having to slaughter people.  Welcome to Bernie's world....and his new $600,000 house.  As a summer home!  Hmmmmm.....I wonder where did all that money came from?
